I purchased a philips led tv on 11/07/17 from mm marketing, lucknow with a warranty of 5 years. I am writing a complaint against videocon because philips had transferred tv business rights to videocon.in less than 4 months the tv broke down and i was told that the panel has to be replaced. The whole process took 20-30 days and eventually a consumer forum complaint like this one to speed up the process.

Now again, in less than 2 years, the tv broke down again on 20-03-19. I registered a complaint luc[protected] on 23-03-19. I was told that this time the engineer who would come to check the tv would charge rs. 800 plus gst the total of which was rs 944. I objected to it as my tv is under warranty but had no option but to comply eventually or else my tv would just be lying in limbo. On 25-03-19 an engineer from v4u associates came to check and broke to us the news that this time the mother board of the tv has broken down and needs to be replaced. He promptly took the money but till now i am awaiting for the mother board replacement. I have called customer care numerous time but did not get prompt response. They keep stalling the resolution of my complaint, procrastinating, transferring the responsibility to someone else constantly, and transferring calls from this department to that. I also received the number of a mr danish from the customer care [protected]who is the in charge of lucknow region. He told me last friday on 12-04-19 that the mother board would be replaced on monday, i. E., 15-03-19 but of course it didn't happen or i wont be writing this complaint. His phone is off or he picks up and tells me he ll call me back but never does.

I think the whole setup is just dilly dallying the issue at hand and i have completely lost my patience here. I mean i cannot dedicate my life towards my tv. I also hear news of videocon quitting its rights in philips as its under losses. I am of the view that in all this corporate hiatus, i as a consumer am suffering.

I am of the view that a sound body of machine cannot really break down so often and that too in such magnitude. With the panel earlier and now the mother board, the whole tv set seems to be of defective nature. I have no trust in these brands anymore. Since i have purchased this tv i am just in a constant battle with this company.

Also, i have repeatedly tried to contact the videocon dish tv to pause my services till my tv gets repaired but they too keep transferring my calls to someone else, or put me on hold and never get back. I had rs 400 remaining in my videocon dish tv account till 20-03-19 but as they didnt pause my services i am sure to have lost it. I called them many times asking to register my complaint but they never did. I have no complain number to give here for the dish tv complaint as they never registered it and never paused my services either. I mean i as an consumer feel cheated. There is this big setup of call centres, complaints registry which all seems to me a big farce.

I don't need the mother board of my tv changed anymore. I need full refund for the tv plus service for which i was charged but never received it. I am sure it would break down in another 6 months and after my warranty gets over i would have a tough time. Its a defective piece of machinery as being noticed from the time i bought it. I am done dealing with videocon or philips or whoever. I as a consumer want peace and i cant fight this battle with this company anymore.

    Its been very pathetic experience with videocon d2h. I have recharged 350 but channel are coming however payment is updated on my account. I tried to call to customer care ivr option 5 for refresh 13 times. Customer becoming fool trusting your system which is useless.

    About your customer care, they are understanding seriousity on customer complaints. Giving fake instructions for channel. There are not bothering satisfactory. I want to discontinue with your services and please take your d2h. Give my compensation for there. Be continue with same styles working pattern. Don't irritate the customer for same issue

I have registered for ac service then your executive has came to my residence and found to be change for cooling quail and gas refilling. He asked for rs.800/- as installation charges but at the time of doing amc, that was not informed to me. According to me, i do not have to pay anything to your executive. And i have words with your area service manager, he also asked for the same. Kindly do needful.

          Dear Team,
          I have recharge online two three
          days back by selecting the required channels.We
          were able to see the selected channels from last one and half
          week.But again as per last month issue we are not
          able see the selected channels also.
          After doing the recharge also
          channels getting discontinued, what type service you all are
          providing to the customer.Why this is happening
          again and again, do u think we only have this work in our
          hand...We need proper reason for this
          discontinue service. Also start the discontinued channels
          immediately.

          No action...No response...
          Even we are not able to contact customer care as on ivr getting response as ur service get resumed...and call gets disconnected.
          Will your this issue...atleast reply that much...

              I have been trying to chose channels for my 3 multi-room d2h connection for last 2 months, but there is no solution it seems.

              The customer care is pathetic, they don't connect for at least 20 - 30 minutes, even after getting connected, their standard answer is to choose the channels from their website.

              The website is even more pathetic, it doesn't work

              Their app doesnt work either.

              Emails dont work either. They never reply back, not even acknowledge it.

              Customer care registered my complaint many times, each time they resolved it in their system without actually resolving it.

              Their nodal officer email and phone dont work either. Nodal officer dont pick up phone and never reply to emails.

              I dont know what to do now, i have already paid advance rental for 2 years

              It seems d2h is doing a fraud or on the verge of closing down
              In any case it seems my money is stuck.

                  I have purchased the HD Channels consisting of all the Hindi channels and not the sports channels. I have paid for the same in the beginning of the month and 2 days back i wanted to buy the sports channel.

                  But in doing so, the website is putting up the previous channels and other costs which doesn't make sense. the channel is costing Rs. 38 and the website is asking me to pay around Rs. 400.

                  Also, I have been trying to call their Customer Care which doesn't work and when i put a request for them to call me 2 weeks back, i haven't yet received a call. Very dissatisfying Service.

                    i am amit kumar rana. i have a d2h videocon connection under user id 28991573. i had recharged my above said connection on 3 April 2019 with Diamond sports pack, but service provider automatically added some add on channels in my pack without my selection of that channels on their website. today when i switch on my TV than i got a massage of recharge date is 22 April 2019, which is too early as per my selection of plan. after talking to several time with customer care they are not agreed that these channel are activated from there side without knowledge of customer and they refuse to refund the money they have charged for those channels which are automatically added by the website system in my package. even one of their senior Mr. Kabir said to remove these channels have to fwd a request to them only then they remove these from my package and refuse to waive off the money that they have charged for the channels which i have not activated. Videocon d2h is cheating his customers my adding add on channels automatic in their subscribed packages. please look into the matter and give me the solution. you can try this by making package on videocon website. please force company to stop this kind of cheating through their website. so that consumer will not get cheated again and again. please waive of my money at the ealiest

                    Hi Team,

                    I am seeing a very bad practice getting used by D2H team to add channels to my pack and loot money of customers.
                    Before I write this here, I have faced this issues at least 3 times.
                    Last time I called the customer care and escalated this same issue. The customer care person updated me that this will not happen again.
                    But I see it again happened with my account. Last time I have removed all unnecessary channels added by the D2H team and reduced the monthly recharge amount to around 160 rs.
                    Now again I see the pack value is increased to 300 Rs. When I checked it properly, I see two VAS channels(Thriller Active and Comedy active) was added to my account adding 75 rs + taxes on top of this.
                    I am sure that not only me but there are hundreds of innocent customers are getting looted like this.
                    D2h Team : Companies doing malpractices do not survive for longer time. Are you going to improve or you are going to shut your shop?

                        I am using d2h services since july 2015 but in dec 2018 there was fault in setup after complaint they changed and charged Rs. 400/- for the same after that same thing happened after around 40 days so after complaint they again changed it and charged Rs. 200/- after that same thing happened again within month they changed it again and now the same thing happen again and when i complained they want to charge me for the same.                           I will never trust on videocon again as its after sale service is very bad as on of the electrician came to me after complaint he comes after 4-5 days after 40-50 calls and refused to do worck at same time and said to me he will come tomorow to solve the problem but until now he didnt visited my home and asking for bill from me i showd my bill and my washing machine is in waareenty its 1.5 yr old really ill not purchase from videocon next time as samsung is much better

                            Hi i am a user of videocon d2h and under this new trai rule, i am not getting any zee channel hd bouquet provided by zee channel like “zee family hd” or “zee all in one premier hd” in videocon d2h bouquet list/add on list, only sd bouquet addon is available. To add zee hd channels we have only option of either adding them ala carte or taking videocon combos. I have even visited their office and asked them to add the bouquet combos...

                            I am suscriber of videocon d2h services with consumer id no.[protected]. We have sufficient balance in our a/c & subscription validity up to 19.05.2019. From yesterday evening 0800 pm onward videocon d2h has stopped airing our preferred channels abruptly. As per their instructions, we have given list of preferred channels for not less than 5 times since 14.04.2019 on wards but still we are unable to view our preferred channels. How a service provider can stop airing preferred/selected channels without intimation to customer & migrate his services to lower package/basic package without his consent/permission.

                              I have one id of videocon dth and two connection last few days i notice that recharge value is high before new trai rules my recharge is 650-700 for
                              Two connection now it is 1000+ i checked online & call customer care for change my plan they told me it only possible online.                               My fare increase to Rs. 534 without even 1 hd channel after trai order of specific base pack for each customer.Don't know which packs activated and not even allowing to creAte own pack properly. Whole d2h infinity app is rubbish. It's like robbing customer money from pocket.

                                Videocon D2h is now charging me without providing the desired service.
                                I keep recharging but not getting the channels i opt for. I tried reaching out to their customer care team but no one picks the call and if if raised a request for a callback no one calls me.
                                I am suffering from last 3 months with the same issue and no one is helping me.

                                Please help.
                                Videocon Industries customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                Unable to login on D2H customer portal. Even not able to connect through customs care number. For complaint given on 7th April 2019, resolution timeline was 8th April 2019 9:53 am. But nobody reverted back till 9:10 pm. Hence not able to select channels and most of channels are not visible.

                                  I get " Repeated error message smart card not inserted properly" this error message since last 7 days frequently. I called videocon d2h customer care but they told me to call after 1 hour. every time i called them they said call after some time.At one time one representative just cut phone while i'm talking with them.
                                  My customer ID is 80466965. Please take some action against it because they are fooling customers.
                                  Videocon Industries customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                  Our D2H is not working for last 5 days & no one from customer care is responding. Poor service & worst cable network.

                                    Unable to login to videocon d2h since last 2 months.
                                    Despite putting otp through rtn for so many times it asks for email.
                                    Tried to resolve it through email and password but same problem appears again and again. It shows invalid credentials. When registering new account, it says that already registered.
                                    Thus unable to create my own channels pack as par trai guidelines.
                                    Unable to contact customer care numbers including nodal office number. None of them are working.
                                    Kindly resolve the issue as the earliest.

                                      I am using videocon d2h past 4 years now. Since 20 days after the trai rules i selected my channels and the amount increased, still i paid to videocon d2h. Now this people are not playing the highest paid channels on my tv. If i on my tv it takes 20 minutes to a channel to on. Star plus, sony tv, sab tv, zee tv, colors all channels have very poor signal. As i cant watch tv with peace i complaint 3 times but they are telling you need to change set top box & they will charge me. I mean you think we people are fools to high rates and now for no reason change the set top box. They are fooling all the subscribers like this. Please help
