Vivo 'freedom carnival' which happened from august 7 - august 9, 2018 with flash sales @ 12pm these three days, promising very low prices for their flagship phones vivo vex & vivo v9 along with other accessories was found to be very misleading and somewhat fishy.
On the first day of the "flash sale", i. E, august 7, the website stopped responding and the products were shown as "out of stock" in a mere 30 seconds after the sale period went live.
On the second day, i. E, august 8, same problem as before. The website stopped responding and the sale was almost instantaneously over.
On the third & final day of the "freedom carnival", the sale period was a tad bigger, lasting for over 15 minutes but, the checkout option was not working and the sign-in option which was somehow mandatory to finalize the order stopped responding and showed error messages like before. I tried it on multiple platforms and browsers thinking the issue may have been on my side but the result was all too similar to arrive at that conclusion.
In summary,
The "freedom carnival" flash sale was a complete bogus and not only that, i think it is a disrespect to india's freedom as they used such a respectful and honorable period in india's history to promote their own company with such fraudulent practices.

I'm not the only one complaining about this and i'm sure many people would not come here to complain about it so i've attached a link to the company's official twitter account as hundreds of people have voiced their concerns over there.

Vivo Mobile India Customer Care's response Hi Sid_V, Vivo freedom carnival offer was operated on our e-store page from 7th to 9th Aug'18. As the same is now over, we request you to stay connected for other offer and benefits which held time to time.
I have also raised a customer complaint against Vivo and intend to take it to the highest possible level. Such waste of time and grevious hurt toward the patriotic feelings of the Indian populace is no joke. I will even see vivo in court if I have to. These 72 hours of vivo have been a direct cuss against the 72 years of freedom of our country. This conduct is just against the dignity of the country. Vivo has shown us a true case of malpractice and fradulent behaviour.
