Hi, I have recently moved from Airtel to Vodafone due to some personal reasons. Vodafone charged me Rs.277 for no reason. I called up the customer care department 3 of them put my call on vodafone delight and 3 kept me waiting on hold for more than 15 minutes each and in the end disconnect it. The next day I called one guy called "Raj Mohan" kept on repeating his words "these charges are deducted from wesites" I explained him more than four times that I have not opened any website but he kept on repeating that made me Irritate and I asked if he is mad enough to get what I'm trying to say and he hung up. They have the worst, no, possibly the worst ever Network. They have stopped my network registration. Currently, i am using my office desk phone for my personal issues. i am higly fed up with this company. I request all people to change your vodafone networks.     Thank you for your shedding of responsibility call & email
    trailing below.

    Vodafone is well aware this is a racket & you have
    confirmed in the call just made few minutes back that lot of customers are
    facing this problem.

    I have lodged my 1st complaint as under marked in
    yellow ever since I started getting blank calls

    To this email I did not get any written reply except a call from
    a very junior executive asking not to dial the number, I am very specific that
    I am not Dialing any such number but I am getting blank calls in the middle of
    the night at odd hours here is the mail as below sent on

    2 a.m, 3.0 am . 6 a.m, 7.am, 9. a.m, moment I go to answer they disconnect.


    I have noted these
    numbers & even put a call reject from my fone software but the calls come
    from different numbers.

    I want Vodafone to
    1st block these numbers from their server too & investigate
    these international calls it seems to be a Phishy racket, req Vodafone take it
    up with vodafone UK / network provider of these numbers in UK.

    NIGHT EARLY MORNING WHEN I AM FAST ASLEEP, these are blank calls, is there no system to solve blank Calls

    4. Naturally the calls are not initiated by Vodafone
    but I am using your network so only you can stop
    these calls from coming by taking up the issue with VODAFONE, BRITISH TELECOM
    OR WHOEVER IS THE NETWORK PROVIDER IN UK.

    I think my problem is still
    not understood correctly.

    I am in international
    business & have to attend calls from international numbers, sometimes
    unknown too.

    While I am aware of the
    international racket of prizes etc which I do not attend, there the person
    claiming a false name & company calls on the mobile & speaks to the
    victim.

    What I am facing is missed
    calls from numbers in UK, if the calls are during the day & numbers read
    correctly I ignore the call, but here the calls come from UK number precisely
    when it is mid night, early morning here in India.

    I have not called back any
    of the numbers till date & get calls from different numbers from UK
    Specifically.

    The caller calls from
    different numbers generally the ending nos are in sequence.

    From my fone software &
    app I have black listed at least 6 such numbers, but there are calls from other
    numbers.

    The main problem is that in
    the dead of the night in deep sleep sometimes it is not possible to read the
    nos. correctly & if I go to answer the call moment it connects they
    disconnect the call.

    I know it is some fishy,
    racket but my problem is the timing is mid night, early morning when one is
    fast asleep.

    The request to
    Vodafone is to find, communicate with UK Vodafone partners or Telecom
    authorities to track the numbers find the people, motive of these calls
    & why these calls are only in the middle of the night & early
    morning, this can be done only by a large operator like you, with co-operation
    of your international partners.

    Hope to hear further from
    you.


    Vodafone is
    well aware this is an international racket & you are taking no steps to
    anything about these calls & giving us information that there are many such
    customers who are facing this problem, which means you are well aware,
    by just making a one line statement your mobile no shows you have made an 81
    minute call to a number in UK your responsibility ends ??????????????

    I need to know
    if I have made a 81 minute call is there a voice conversation, if there is I
    need the recordings else vodafone is fooling me & many others into paying
    ISD bills.

    Vodafone has to
    get it investigated at their end, UK, Police, cyber cell whatever.

    Pls note
    weather payment is made on this ISD portion of bill or no this matter is going
    to be contested, investigated, legally challenged to cost & consequences
    of VODAFONE.

    PRESS, POLICE, CONSUMER COURT & CYBER CELL are all going to be a part of this complaint
    which please note, we shall be pleased to move to better operators after this
    case is over & made public.

    Pls note I am not going to pay the ISD charges
    wrongly charged to me, and would surely consider saying good bye to VODAFONE
    unless Vodafone can come up with satisfactory investigation.

    Pls note I have all my legal options open to
    contest the billing at your costs & consequences.

      Dear Team, Hi am Tousif i ve recharged my net pack on 26 it was for 3g but its not at all working. When i apporached to vodafone store they directly telling if you are not happy do not use vodafone rather solving the problem. Its been 1Week it has not yet activated. The response from customer executive is very poor. They do not know it has been activted or not till today they said it has been activated but in vodafone store dey said it is not yet activated. I am not at all satisfied with d service

      Vodafone is a very good company nd it has great service but I don't know why when ever I'm filling my 3G, 2G data is coming nd 3G symbol is not coming and my money is getting wasted!!!

            Yet again this happened. Vodafone charged me Rs.99 for no reason. I called up the customer care department 3 of them put my call on vodafone delight and 3 kept me waiting on hold for more than 15 minutes each and in the end disconnect it. The next day I called one guy called "Gaurav" kept on repeating his words "these charges are deducted from wesites" I explained him more than four times that I have not opened any website but he kept on repeating that made me Irate and I asked if he is mad enough to get what I'm trying to say and he hung up. They have the worst, no, possibly the worst ever! customer service which one can provide to the customers. First they deduct your balance then don't even care to assit you. This si not the first time it has happened to me. 2 months earlier they deducted some amount for no reason. I put this over the consumer website and received a call from nodal department. they kept calling me for more than a month instead of resolving my issue and when I asked to speak to the manager they promised a call back and never did! Worst ever! Illiterates customer care executive who have no sense to speak. very much unprofessional, annoying! Last time they misguided me over the phone moreover in written as well. They Promise to give me the validity for 28 days in writing but did not.This time they have charged my account for Rs.99 for no reason! stating that I have downloaded some app or something. As if I don't know how to use my phone or I'm unaware about how the apps get downloaded and how these company trick people into paying by deducting some amount. This time I am going to sue you people! I want my each penny back with apology note and call from each one who misbehaved with me! If you vodafone cannot take care of the customers why do we even use it! Worst possible customer service ever!

            I am sick of you people. The Other day i called Customer Service to ask for refund a Lady promised me to refund it within 24 hours. I called after 24 hours the another CCE told me that there was no such request registered. What are you guys even trying to do? There is a limit to fake things and misguide people! You are the worst company ever!

              On Sat 30th August 2014 I came into Vodafone Mapusa, Goa. I spoke to Maria Dsousa Vodafone employee and asked for data package on my sim number[protected]. She showed me the Vodafone data package chart for August September and I selected the Rs 750 package for data. I paid cash and she said it was complete. At home I had internet for one day, then it died. I came back to Maria Dsousa at Vodafone Mapusa on Monday Sept 1st to ask what happened . She looked up and said I used it all up I one day because the money was placed in error on talk time not data. She could not give me a refund. This is very bad. This was not my fault. It was represented that I had purchased a data plan for 750, the Vodafone employee or the system is responsible for my loss. Maria said all I can do was spend ANOTHER 750! But then she found out her data package charts were wrong and now I must do 850. This was a rip off! But because I live in a place where there is only Vodafone signal I am a prisoner of Vodafone. Please refund my 750 immediately, or at least give me the equivalent in data for one month. Horrified at Vodafone service, P. Brown

                    hi, This is regarding the call i got today from [protected], stating that it is from vodafone, they are calling in regards to some lucky draw. the guy in th other end said that he is calling from the vodafone mumbai, and said that i will be provided 25 laks, he mentioned his name as vijay verma from vodafone, i tried to call back and got alert for ISD call. Call got connected and same guy again said that he is from vodafone. i disconnected the call and now registering this complaint against this kind of scams. i also checked the number and the country code was +92 so i am worried about it.                       Vodafone is not more happy to help you, they are cheating the people and when caught there is no response from them. Now I have decided to drag them in consumer court. I am holding corporate 99 plan for my two post paid numbers, they changed the plan long back without my request and started billing high amount. Now they are falsely claiming that I requested them to change the plan when I caught red hand for cheating. Below is the conversation happened with them and they did not respond me after that. As per telephonic conversation today on [protected] at 2:02 PM, we wish to inform that, tariff plan of your above mentioned Vodafone number has already been changed to VG_Corp_IT_99 w.e.f.05/08/2014 for both the numbers. Kindly find the attachment of VG_Corp_IT_99 plan details for your reference.  (VIJAY->) Not sure if this is changed back to VG_Corp_IT_99. I did not receive any SMS confirming the plan change.                         Complaint No.[protected] and [protected] I have two connections from Vodafone 1) [protected] and 2) [protected]. Both were post paid connections. As I want to change connection No.[protected] from post paid to prepaid I have approached the vodafone gallery at Nerul East, Navi Mumbai. Deatils given as under: 18/8/2014 - Visited the gallery, submitted the necessary documents and paid the necessary charges. Given me a new "Sim" and asked me to pay the pending bill and then the migration will take place. 20/8/2014 - Paid the post paid bill (Current bill -there was no arrears and I am regular in paying the bill) 21/8/2014 - Called customer care - promised to activate the new sim in 2 days and asked me to visit the Gallery again. 23/8/2014- Visited the Gallery at Nerul and promised to resolve the issue by 25/8/2014 25/8/2014- Since the issued was not resolved, sent a mail to Vodafone Care in the evening. 26/8/2014- Reply given and promised to resolve the issue in 2 working days. 28/8/2014- Called the customer care executive, but could not get a satisfactory reply, sent a mail again. 341/8/2014- Still waiting for the activation for Sim.

As per vodafone representative I decided to convert these three nos to Postpaid.While converting from Prepaid to Post paid vodafone, blocked the old sim card before new one delivery.Now I am facing problems that all these nos are blocked and I can not communicate to any one, from 25th August 2014 till date. This is pure carelessness from vodafone services. If before starting using post paid you started giving trouble, then no need of your service. Please make enquiry. That should tell you that I am a loyal Vodafone customer. This mail is with the intention to let you'll know that you have let me down as a service provider in the last few months, two months ten days to be exact. Reason: Inability to resolve the issue I have reported with you'll over this period. I have raised numerous requests to activate International Roaming, over the phone through your call centre and also by going to the Vodafone store personally. The SR nos. are- 20th Jul 2014([protected], [protected]) 16th Aug 2014([protected], [protected]) I am right now in Singapore and all my bills, bank advices, OTPs come to my Vodafone number which currently is deactivated because of Vodafone's ability of not enabling the International Roaming. I would like to let you know that I have submitted a copy of my passport to your store, my address verification has also been successful but still my request is pending. I am tired of calling your customer care which takes me about 10minutes to connect. Mind you it's an ISD call and I have called many a times.                                 Hi m Nitin From Mumbai.My no is [protected]. i have recharged my mobile with 200rs.i have activated 149rs 3G data plan.after using for 2 3 days, 49rs automatically deducted from my account.when i inquired about it to customer care they said that it is becoz of wap service which i click while using internet. but when i search in detail its a Vodafone app itself.whenever you use internet, it will automatically download in your mobile and deduct 49rs.and when call customer care they give stupid answer like its your fault, be care full while using internet.pl do not click on adds.Only Vodafone have access to my main account, how come other website can download anything and deduct my balance. please look into this issue and refund my balance, and make sure that this will not happens again.

                                clearly said that we can't refund your balance because i have surfed
                                chargeable sites and downloaded contents which are chargeable. also he
                                said that we refunded you first time (This is happens second time, First
                                time they refunded my balance)because its our customer satisfaction
                                policy but we cant refund you this time.For your kind
                                information, when i second time called customer care executive ms.***, she clearly said that, you have downloaded/clicked wap
                                service(Which i didn't) that's why they have charged me and its a
                                Vodafone service by which i can see my last call cost, my data n blah
                                blah.., but i said i don't need this service, she said your
                                balance will be refunded within an hour, but this not happens. again i
                                called CC this time executive name *** picked up phone, same
                                story..balance not refunded, , again i called, this time *** picked
                                up the phone..same story ..balance not refunded...after this i wrote
                                this to you..and now you again say the same thing.I just want
                                to ask you, in first instance why your executives said that this is
                                Vodafone app/service(Either you don't Brief them properly or else they
                                still makes mistakes, but i think its not their fault because they are
                                just saying the right thing)and if it if chargeable
                                website, now i have only 1.40rs in my account then how come now i can
                                download the same content from same website.if it is changeable then
                                website or Vodafone should prompt me for low balance.but this is not
                                happening.and one more thing when i downloads the same content from any other operator its not chargeable.also
                                i have noticed one thing when you have balance in your account and if
                                you surf, , balance deducted for no reason.Also this not happening with
                                only me, same is happening with every other person(You can see Consumer
                                complaint forum.)This is just a new way of Vodafone to loot a innocent people.this not good and not suits to reputed companies like Vodafone.Also
                                when we call more than 3-4 time to customer care for same complaint
                                this people block us and we are not able to connect them.I am
                                still waiting for your Genuine and true reply.If this same things going
                                to happen i have to file the police complain against the concern
                                authority.because your deducting this small amount from each person and
                                making business of corers by fooling people.and please don't
                                give me this false reasons cause i am also a software engineer, i know
                                how to surf on web, where to click where should not, which are chargeable
                                sites and which are not. if you still
                                thinks, your systems are robust, please go and check again.because this
                                is not only me there are thousands of people complaining about same.

                                      My number was put into safe custody for 6 months since I was travelling out of the country. Safe custody means that you pay Rs. 600 to the Vodafone guys and the number is temporarily deactivated, rentals are stopped, but the number continues to be on your name and you can activate it with the same plan once you are back. Vodafone sent me an email stating the number is deactivated now and is in safe custody. I called my own number to verify this and it was disconnected. Job well Done. Month 1 - Bill Amount is Rs. 0/- obviously since the number is not active, there cant be any bill Month 2 - Bill Amount is Rs. 0/- Month 3 - BILL AMOUNT 648.17/- extra attention to be paid to that 17 paise . These crooks can go to any lengths to make the bill look authentic and unsuspecting customers might even pay it. I raised the query with Vodafone support over emails. The replies were copy pasted even without reading the email. (No Surprise there) Then I forwarded the same mail to Nodal officer and the Ombudsman. No response. 4 days and 2 reminders later, Pandeyji from the Ombudsman woke up and again directed the query to vodafone care. They told me they were sorry and the charge of 648.17 will be reversed. My question was how can such a charge appear in the first place.?? If the number is disconnected how can there be usage cost ? And I could grill them here as I head all those Vodafone emails where they confirmed that the NUmber was disconnected... Imagine the plight of millions o[censored]sers who cannot prove this and Vodafone Care will tell them that its your usage cost and you will have to pay for it. After that I Have sent almost 7 reminders to the Nodal officer, The ombudsman and vodafone care to come clean on this SCAM. Arbitrary charging and looting people unethically. I am yet to get a reply, maybe our Pandeyji will wake up till 2018 and order an investigation. Till such a time folks, Keep Paying !!

                                      Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                      I was using Aircel no. [protected] for some time, but opt to port to Vodafone, looking at their attractive offers. I took Rs. 399 /- plan, which they offered me for Rs. 299 as I opt to port from Aircel to Vodafone. The plan explained as following.

                                      1) Rs.299/- - Per month minimum charge
                                      2) 4G Data - 1 GB per month
                                      3) 2G Data - Unlimited
                                      4) Voice calls - 600 minutes free per month
                                      5) SMS - 650 SMS free per month.

                                      Then I took Jio connection too, which is giving Voice / Data free for three months & then they will charge Rs. 330 per month. As I had free data & Voice options, I am not using Vodafone voice or Data any more, thinking that they will charge me only plan amount, but last few months I am observing that even after no use of your services, my bill amount shown by Vodafone is always Rs. 700 +, I do not understand why? I am not cancelling my no. as this no is circulated to all my contacts.

                                      Please send me my use details or revert all undue amount charged to me. Hope you will do the needful at earliest & to my fullest satisfaction.

                                        I have a small retail counter namely Varma Stationery & Gift Gellary, Opp. Vivekanand Public School Gate no.4, Sec-17, HUDA, Jagadhri. Vodafone salesman is not giving services properly. I give him 2 nos to port from docomo to Vodafone fulfill with all requirement. But till date he doesn't told me that for what reason they are taking so much time. They have taken ID and port code 2 times. I called so many time to confirm the status. Again and again he told it will take 2-3 days. Customers are doing misbehave with me due to taking so much time. Now on 25/08/2014 Mr. Amit came to take money of Flexi balance of Rs.1000/- I told him to satisfy the customer first then I will give you the payment. He told that we will not go at the premises of customer, you may call him at your shop. I call customer to come at my shop, Now customer is telling that I came so many time at your shop now you may come with salesman and took what ever you required for the same. Mr. Amit and his team leader Mr. Rohit both are not giving services and disconnect my Flexi no. Now my customer are running back without recharge. Then I complaint Distributor of vodafone but no avail. Kindly look in to the matter and oblige.
