My Mobile number is [protected]
I was using postpaid connection one year before i went to show room and paid the bill and cleared everything and converted to prepaid.
They asked me to clear the bill when i went to show room, i cleared and they converted my number to prepaid.

now after one year of converting postpaid to prepaid they are calling and telling i have to pay the bill otherwise they will disconnect my number. I kept for few months the receipt and i left some where.

If they called me in on or two months i could check what is the problem, how can they call me after a year and ask me for payment,

i donno the hell from vodafone.

please help me to solve the problem

    I have been a vodafone customer for the past 6-8 years. The number was being used by my mother who is a senior citizen. However one day she received a call from an unknown number who claimed to be calling from Vodafone some Dept. and said that there is some problem with this number and they are checking the same. They asked me to hold the line for a few minutes. The few minutes was about 15 minutes. post which they disconnected the line. Within a few hours the outgoing calls from that number got blocked as they said that the customer has exceeded their credit limit of Rs.5000. I was surprised as how can an incoming call be charged at that rate. Since then the Vodafone Billing Dept has been chasing us for the payment of Rs. 5200/- which is completely unacceptable. I have since stopped using that number and request a amicable settlement.

      To Whom so ever it may concern !! Since last 1 week, i have been calling the vodafone customer care for regestiring my complaint, but till date they have not taken any action on it. I must have called there customer Service Centre more than 100 times, nut each and every time they keep us on hold saying they will sort it out but result no response. Literally, i am fed up of approaching these people . They know only one Sentence - Thank you for your Call, your problem will get resolved in 2 hours but again the matter end up in same early condition. The most disgusting Service ever i had in my life. Vodafone is the only network which is not supporting us.

        Hi, I am using two vodafone numbers [protected] and [protected]. I have requested to deactivate this number since i moved to Bangalore. I have first raised a request on 14th July but no action has been taken, then again when i called the customer care on 18th July i have been informed that no such request has been taken!! This is very annoying and not acceptable. Request you to kindly deactivate my connection ASAP. Moreover for [protected] i have requested to deactivate the Internet service on June but when i receives the bill for month of june the internet charges has been levied on the same, though i have not used the service. I would request to reverse those charges as well and send me the updated bill with total outstanding as of 18th july. As i have raised the request n 14th JUly for deactivating the service i am not expecting to pay for any bill raised after 18th JUly

          10 days back I gave a request for mnp of my prepaid reliance no. [protected] to prepaid vodafone at a retail outlet and paid rs 280 to activate plan of 50rs talktime+1gb 3g internet.Then one of your executives called up and suggested to convert directly to Vodafone postpaid.I agreed as later I was going to convert to postpaid. Then your executive came to my house, gave me the postpaid sim and I paid rs 250.l have its receipt as well as the sim.Your executive also told that my prepaid mnp request will be cancelled and directly it will get converted to postpaid. But on 15th July you people activated the prepaid sim and not the postpaid one.My 250+280=530 rs have been wasted.please just either return my money or activate the postpaid sim and adjust the balance or I will complain to consumer court and degrade your ratings.             I have received a message of bill Rs 2075/-.That is truely some mistake from your side. Let me tell you what is the problem 3 months ago i had activated monthly 2G interenet plan of Rs 150. At the end of month i called customer care service and told them to stop my plan, your customer care executive told me that plan have been activated automatically month to month, My bill was about 400Rs. that time. When i received this message of Rs 2075. bill i called customer care and your person told me that I have used GPRS and 1500 Rs of that . Infact i have received a message that i have remaining 600 mb of my data. let me tell you one thing iam not gonna pay a single penny of this ..So make necessary correction and send me new bill.               I had applied for a new postpaid connection at Vodafone, [protected] on 4th July on behalf of my father. But the connection didn't got activated. After 5days, Vodafone told me that on physical verification the connection was rejected. But the truth is that no physical verification was done. I emailed the matter to the Nodal Officer. The Nodal Officer arranged for a re-verification. This time around the executive did come but after a couple of days. Verification was done, but again 2 days later I received an email, that on Physical verification my father said he didn't approved it. Again a lie from Vodafone, because the executive met me and not my father, because he was at his office at that time. Still i replied to the email, i again provided my father's number, and told them to call him directly and verify. Today, i received an email, the Nodal Officer told me to wait for 48working hours, then he will respond with an answer. It means I will have to wait until next Monday, 21st July, for an answer. I had applied for the connection on 4th July. And until 21st they wouldn't activate the connection, and that whether it will get activated is still in doubt. This is pure harassment. Vodafone is continuously giving excuses for not activating the connection. They are not able to provide any reason for not activating. I provided proper documents and my father himself approved it, if Vodafone get in touch with him, they will know. But Vodafone is not activating my connection deliberately. And how much time should i wait to get one connection activated. Either activate this connection by this week, or give me my documents back immediately, otherwise, I will take alternate options and sue Vodafone over mishandling of documents, and fraud.

                My number is [protected]. I received a bill of amount 4200rs for the month of June 2014. Vodafone has charged me double for international calling. I barely talked 100 minutes and bill sent to me is of 200mins. Also the daily call minutes are doubled and exaggerated for which i am over charged too. And over the last few months my bill was around 1400rs, which I don't know how. I tried to ignore it that time but now the company is taking the advantage of ignorance. I asked them to not raise my credit limit beyond 1500, but they keep sending me message that my limit has been raised to 4000 and above. I request the consumer forum to look into the matter as soon as possible.

                  I'm from Hyderabad. Im trying to recharge vodafone from 10 days. It is never working. I've tried from vodafone site, other recharge sites, my online bank account. Nothing works. Whenever I select some top-up, I get invalid amount (even though I select the amount from vodafone plans)

                    I have joined team vodafone during mid of feb 2014 with post paid connection for my company. So far, i never ever received a monthly bill through email or postal in which i would have receive a call from customer care to pay the bill..                       I had 250 Rs Internet plan activated. Which reached limit of 1GB on 21st June and so activated booster pack of 250 Rs for 1GB on 23rd June.


                      But there is a plan for 750 Rs capping amount which is been added despite of 250 Rs booster activated.

                      I have not got any call back on the wrong pack activated and I have been charged for all.

                      When I raised a complaint ([protected]); the supervisor was always interrupting me while i was speaking. He didnot transfer my call to next person He asked how much money you want. hanged up the call even when I was speaking.

                      This is a ridiculous.


                      I want somebody to look into this matter and also want my money back.

                          My wife received an anonymous call from this number. A month back she received an sms from the same number asking for her name. She did not respond. Today she received a call. That fellow asked whether she has dinner. Before he can go further she cut the call. Request your help in warning the caller to not to make anonymous callscalls.

                            I stay at Om Nagar, vasai Road (west). While I'm at home there is no network or it always goes as soon as I enter my home. I was a regular customer for 3G recharge of Rs.850/- a month. 3 months back I visited the vasai vodafone store & got a reply that we should check before doing big recharges.                             Vodafone has such network issues, as every second call gets dropped or doesnt not connect.

                            We have used this enhancing instrument called vodafone booster, but the nework still remains so poor.

                            We have lodged various complains, every day we loose business coz the clients cannot reach us. Seems no action is taken

                            When we call them they simply say 2G works not 3G. Infact nothing works well. Why are they offering 4G services when they are not capable of giving full proof 3G services.

                            Please take this seriously. As am sure many companies are a victim of the same, it affects and hampers our business

                            The basic calls and Internet services in the north bombay section is so inconvenient that the networks do not reach inside the apartment to support an uninterrupted voice conversation. The network is just enough for phones to ring and residents have to come outside to their windows to have a network issue conversation.
                            Now with constructions of multi storeys, the density is bound to increase all the more.


                            Then on the other side there is Vodafone wondering why they do not have revenues from voice calls. Most easy way out is then to use Internet communications all the more.

                            Thus India always stays to be a developing economy with never ending scope of infrastructural improvement opportunities.
                            Looks like there is some issues going on in Model Colony. If I select LTE/WCDMA/GSM mode it activates my 3G connection but stops my calls and messages completely. It says Not registered on network.

                            I have to manually change the network mode to GSM Only. After doing this I start getting calls and messages but my Internet speeds reduces to 2G.

                            I see this problem with a few other Vodafone users in my area.
                            I want to deactivate my postpaid sim as i m having issues to use imnternet at my home
                            I have ported my mobile provider from DoCoMo to Vodafone only for network issues. and I m still facing the same issue even with Vodafone. my office is located in vikroli. and I m not getting network here in my office. so how it's useful to me to port to Vodafone. my mobile number is [protected]. please do sole issues for my network

                              worst ever customer service by Vodafone..First, they charge rs. 177 in my postpaid bill for subscribing to wallpaper download service (Why the hell would I pay rs 177 to download wallpaper) to which I never subscribed Second, No list is being provided of sites where I visited for so called downloading wallpapers. Third, who gave Vodafone right to charge me in my bill and pay to some third party without my consent.

As your customer care executive told me that you provide internet speed from 50kBps to 100kbps on 2g network. But I would like to tell you that I am not getting even 20kBps on my lenovo A-526.                                     1. on 17th june I receive a sms stating that the usage on my no [protected] is 1412 rs.
                                    2. on 19th june I receive a sms that usage on my no [protected] is rs 3017
                                    3. on 27th june I receive another sms that usage on my number [protected] is rs 2985.
                                    4.on 15th july I receive another sms that bill dtd 3rd july will be debited and amount mentioned is rs 889.49

                                    also for my no [protected]

                                    1. on 16th june received an sms stating that usage is 806 rs.
                                    2. on 19th june received an sms stating usage as 879 rs.
                                    3. on 20th june usage was stated as 956 rs
                                    4. on 4th july usage is 875 rs.
                                    5. on 7th july usage is 888 rs
                                    6. on 8th july usage is rs 974.
                                    7.on 13th july usage is rs 1000.
                                    8.on 13th july again usage is 1021.
                                    9. on 15th july bill was raised for rs 872.37.
                                    10. and today telephone services were stopped inspite that billed amount is less than credit limit.


                                    plz make me understand that
                                    a) why cannt bill be raised on the last date of billing cycle.
                                    b)why should any consumer be receiving threatening sms of interruption of services
                                    c) how come the usage is reduced between 19th and 27th june.
                                    d) i[censored]sage on 27th june was rs 2985 why bill was raised for rs 889.49

                                    I don't know whether this is a system specially created for harassing a sincere user just to increase the monthly bill or there is a system to confuse the user by not providing the actual picture but a complicated web of billed and unbilled amounts which is difficult to be understood...

                                      i use a dual sim phone and use my internet on my gujarat vodafone no.
                                      but it has happened many a times that suddenly my internet starts being used from the other rajasthan vodafone no. and my balance gets over. i dnt see my phone or change any settings and this happens a lot of time. and even when the balnce gets over my settings o[censored]sing internet is on the gujarat no. only then how come it consumes internet from the other sim.
                                      and even before almost months back when i had one sim phone only that time also suddenly on roaming when i dnt even call or pic any call my balance used to get 0.

                                        I have been using Vodafone services since a long long time and while using the services I never had any problem. The main problem occurred when I moved to Bangalore and asked them to close my account. I have never ever expected this from such a big organization. I expect a little bit of problem while closing any account as it pisses off the company but harassment at this level is not justified. First of all when I asked them to close my account they gave me a lot of options which I didn’t like and after so many calls from many customer care people - They finally agreed to close my account. At the time of closing the account my outstanding amount was Rs 1710(Bill dated 01/06/2014.) which they asked me to pay so that they can close it quickly. I wired the money and asked them to close. I also received a mail from Customer care that my security deposit for this account is Rs 2819 and they will send a cheque at my home address. Life was so good until now. After few days as I gave my wife number as alternative contact number they started calling my wife everyday to pay a bill amount of Rs 3414. I thought it might be some sync issues among customer care people. So I wrote a mail customer care and asked them to update their database so that I receive no further calls. After that day I never stopped receiving call from them. I wrote so many mails explaining my condition, talked on phone with multiple customer care guy but there is no help from them. Yesterday it crossed my limit then I received a Demand Notice from Vodafone. Just to finish with - I would like to tell Vodafone guys that - I am not going to pay a penny and would demand my security deposit from you guys. If they can harass me I can go beyond that and tell everybody around me to stay away from any service from vodafone. I will run a campaign if required but I won’t tolerate this attitude. Somebody also explain I used to pay a bill of max 500-1000 per month how could they are asking me to pay Rs 3414 for a month bill.
