I have recharged my prepaid amount through Vodafone’s official website of Rs. 610.80/- on 9th Sept 2020. But my plan was not activated. So VI’s customer care person told me to do the recharge again. Then I did my recharge again on 10th Sept, 2020 through ‘VI App’ which was successfully activated.
Now it's almost 2 months & still company has not refunded my Rs. 610.80/-. Initially they told me that my payment was not received by them. For verification they asked me to submit the legal proof of my transaction. Hence I submitted all my ‘Bank statements’ in the asked format. After submitting all the proofs they agreed of the payment from my side. Later on, at the time of refund they disagreed and said that “I’ve done my recharge on wrong number.” Hence I am asking them for the legal proof for the same, but they are refusing to give me. So we had a con-call with that person (The one which company is saying I have recharged to that wrong no). On the con-call she denied of the anonyms recharge on her number. Hence later on, company is agreed to refund me full amount verbally (on customer care call) as a ‘Core Balance’ but now they are again refusing to give the commitment legally & also they are not ready to refund me.
As a customer, I have full rights to ask for the legal proofs and get my full refund. Because I don’t think fault is at my end. I think this is a well planned decision by the company itself.

VI Customer care person called me on 3rd November, 2020 and gave the confirmation of my refund amount Rs. 599/- on call only. But this time I requested them to keep my call on hold until I get a confirmation on e-mail about the same. I had to take this step because, this same scenario of not giving confirmation on Email, instead giving only verbal confirmation had happened previously 3 times. Hence our call was on hold for more than 15minutes & finally my entire amount was refunded and an Email regarding the same was received to me. THANK YOU so much ‘Indian Consumer Complaints Forum’ for taking prompt action in my case.

Yes thank you so much. Vodafone refunded my unsuccessful recharge amount as a Main Balance (which they agreed on phone.)

      I have ported the Vodafone number to BSNL.During porting he number, Vodafone asked me to submit some amount and when I said tell me exact outstanding, they said they will refund the remaining balance.my balance is Rs 704.I have submitted all the bills, no bill was pending and I have paid the double amount to vodafone for which their Customer service team said it is Rs 704 and they will refund.after 2-3 days when I again and again done the tweet they said they have sent the cheque of Rs 704, and I never received that cheque.I told them you can check with my bank.I have not received any cheque from vodafone.They said the courier didnt go because of lockdown.I asked them to transfer my money to my bank account.they said they will transfer but they never transferred the balance amount.I had done many tweets to Customer service, Head of Department, owner of Vodafone, and in all the branches across world but I never got my money back.Customer service told us why are you getting irritated for just Rs 704.its a small amount.I am a Retired Pentioner and above all the amount is less or more, its public amount.how can they keep public amount with them.They harrased me a lot and spoke very rudely as well.Vodafone did this many people.somehow people feel pain to file compaint for small amount but I thought to do it because I think these fraud companies should be addressed by you.

        Balance suddenly became 0 from more than 200rs. Three attempts of recharge rsv699, rs599, rs10 failed after payment successful with message 217 error sorry transaction failed. Not able to connect 199 cust service. Not able to revharge. Balance 0.

            I have ported my number from Vodafone postpaid to other network. At the time of joining Vodafone I had deposited INR. 300 as security deposit. I left Vodafone on 13th October '2020 but til now not received the security money which I deposited at the time of Vodafone joining. Also I have paid INR. 150 extra for my last bill settlement.y Vodafone number was [protected].

            Kindly help me to get back my money.

              My Name is Sourav Mukherjee, employee of SREE AIRCON, My Vodafone Corporate connection No. is +91 [protected], which unable to get any 4G Network Coverage or Volte service.

              Some times ago I replaced my Vodafone sim from 2G to 4G from Vodafone Store, Chadni Chowk, Kolkata but till now 4g signal and volte service not activated.

              On morning 30/10/2020 I spoke with Vodafone Corporate care (55666) executive 3 times for my problem and they told me that my problem solve with 1/2 to 4 Hours but till now my problem not solved.

                  Faced tremendous issues with Vodafone network. Will be porting my number to another service provider. You have very very poor network and data service. You guys need to do something about it otherwise you'll will lose a lot of loyal customers. I am one of them!

                    Hi, I have submit my Sim port request in Airtel but VI team call me & offer me 199. 00rs plan against my old Plan 299.00 Rs. But they are not doing any type of offer submit in system. & not inform to me scheme related.

                    I want to action against wrong commitment doing to customer.

                        I relocated from mumbai to dehradun in september 2019. The service provided was hassle free. Consequent upon recharging for 1 year from 2 April 2020 to 1 April 2021, I started noticing from May 2020 the outgoing calls were barred. I continued making complaints. Sometimes for short periods I would be allowed roaming facility but to face the problem again. I am now facing this problem from August 2020 and the company is not allowing roaming despite repeated requests and complaints. If I port to UP circle, I will loose the entire amount of recharge.

                        I may please be allowed roaming immediately and also additional periodicity of the recharge to cover the period when this service was not provided.

                          My name is Johnpaul, I am using my vodafone number for 5years. Today on 26/10/2020 vodafone sent a message about callertune deduction. I never asked for it. They are doing such mischievous things. I am fed up with their service.
                          The three consecutive messages i received are copied here.

                                I have ported my number from Vodafone to Airtel due to signal issues. To generate the port number the basic requirement is to clear all my dues. I paid the dues and generate the port number. As soon as i generated the port number till my number migrated to Airtel, in the span of 3 to 4 days i received 100s of calls from vodafone offering free service for 6 months along with signal booster etc.. i denied all the offers and went with airtel anyway. Now they are accusing me of a pending bill payment of 1293 Rs without any explanation.. its very basic requirement to clear all dues inorder to MNP. if i had dues MNP PORT code itself will not get generated in the first place. They are clearly taking a revenge for discontinuing their service. Now they have reported airtel about this fake bill and try to stop my service with Airtel. very cheap behaviour from Vodafone

                                  Vodafone is a fraud company which deducts customer's money without any reason giving excuses saying that customer has activated it. This is a scam which the company is applying for their income. Moreover the customer care executives are treating us as if we are slave to them. They interact wish people with so much attitude and disrespectfully. Illiterate customer care executives.

                                    Recently i ported my number from airtel to vodafone and i am facing alot of issue with it.
                                    Firstly the sim i received at my homedid not work in my phone (it was showing no sim detected)
                                    Then i went to the vodafone store and i was goven a new sim and told that it will get activated the next day but that also did not get activated.

                                    This is Aniket Bhakre. I recharged my prepaid plan with 98 Rs. data plan using the VI app. The amount was successfully deducted. Soon i received a text message: "Sorry, this recharge is not available. Txn. num. #####...".
