I have sent the message to port my number from Vodafone but whenever i send PORT message I am receiving the following response again and again and it has been more than 8 hours since I have not received the code.

"Please wait another UPC request already in progress."

      Hi I was forcefully given postpaid plan from my previously prepaid plan when I didnt want, now that after 3 months i have completed minimum time period with postpaid still the company is threatening us that if we do not choose postpaid they will cancel our no. Or else we would have to continue with postpaid only and my current no. Is alot valuable since I have given it to everyone so i can't afford to loose this, kindly please help I'll be loging an fir too I need a response back quick

          Vodafone has cancelled the first port which I given due to this I had paid 2 times charges to Airtel to port. Kindly return the first time port amount or else cancel the bill which is generated by Vodafone.

            DEAR SIR,

            I AM Vodafone idea customer now they call VI.

            On 19th Sept I received SMS as my Amazon prime service is auto renewed.
            After getting sms I immediately send SMs to stop and also called VI customer care and notified that why its auto renewed and there is no prior information. They said money won't be charge and call after billing cycle. I called 3 times after that and now today they said till 6 pm it will get resolved.

            On 10th OCT I called and that time they said it will resolve by 12 th morning.
            This is very frustrating experience .
            I am really not happy with this.

              I gave Vodafone to Airtel by paying amount of 425rs
              Vodafone service cancelled the porting because of that again I have to pay for the service charges.

              Now Vodafone service has stopped the out going service for the phone by holding the payment of 163rs. If Vodafone people would have approved the first time port then why the bill will come. Either they have to pay 425rs or they have to leave the payment due.

                Dear Sir/Ma'am

                I'm Anjali Goyal & using Vodafone postpaid services from past 3 years. I've paid all my bills on times but from few month I'm not using my number but still paying the for it, which is not a problem they only charged for plan rental only but last month I used my Vodafone postpaid number for few day for internet only (which already include in the plan) then on billing date I got the mail from Vodafone that I've been charged for Rs.1400 (Plan rental + Internet usage) while using their internet they didn't tell me or warned me that I've exceeded my internet quota. Without any approval or warning they continuously proving the internet which I was using without knowing it.

                All I want to waive off my extra charges & I'm willing to pay for my rental plan only

                  Vodafone teams have been cheating me for moving to Airtel. They have been bullying me to pay again the money their employees have stolen and threatening me to pay else they will get my number discontinued.

                  Now my number is disconnected at Airtel. Is there a cell between Airtel and Vodafone that will resolve such issues or is consumer court my only option?

                  Background:

                  I recently transferred my mobile number +[protected] from Vodafone. All bills were paid and the number was moved to Airtel with Vodafone approval for full payment. But, after I transferred, they raised a bogus fraudulent bill for "Premium number charge" of Rs.1694.92 which was never charged in earlier nor was the number sold as premium number to me.

                  This additional bill was issued after I gave them reason for move from Vodafone to Airtel. Looks like Vodafone are adopting such unsavoury tactics to penalize people from moving from Vi.

                  Also, I had paid their guys (Veeramani and M.Sundaram from Ambatur store) Rs.1800, but the first bill did not show the amount paid. They said they will check on it, but nothing was done. After which covid lockdown happened and I did not follow up further. But, the moment I moved my number, Vi raises a bill showing only part payment (Rs.1271.19) and the difference of Rs.423.73 as due.

                  1. Vodafone billing team and customer service teams have not raised any complaint on this issue I raised. I have so far spoken to 50 odd people at Vodafone but no complaint was Registered by them. Given the number has moved, even am unable to raise a complaint.

                  2. Vodafone is not taking responsibility of their employee's theft and has not investigated on the internal money squandering instead has been harassing me for months to get me pay again.

                  3. In fact, The Vodafone billing and customer care teams did not even give me the name and contact of the guy who sold the number to me; as I do not remember the person name anymore (after 7+ months) they are taking advantage of it. But, I personally tracked their employee down and provided name above ( M.Sundaram from Ambatur store).

                  Airtel team @ Please note when I spoke to Airtel showroom at Thillaiganga nagar Chennai, they said since the problem is at Vi, they cannot raise any ticket at Airtel for this.

                  I need immediate help to solve this and my number reactivated without any further charge to me. Also, for the period of deactivation I request Airtel not to charge me.

                    I have today received the bill dated 7th Oct '20. Was surprised to find that the same aggregated to Rs.1587, as against ~Rs.500 odd in the earlier months.
                    This was because in the current bill I was charged Rs.847 for automatic renewal of subscription to Amazon Prime, without any prior intimation to me. Request you to kindly reverse this amount of Rs.847 as I have not advised you to renew the subscription to Amazon Prime. Will be obliged if this is attended to immediately, and advise me about the same.

                      Tele-verification call to 59059 dropping

                      I got a new Vi sim card yesterday. I was told that the sim will be activated within 2 hours and then I have to dial 59050 for tele verification. I have tried for more than 10 hours - but upon dialing 59059, the call keeps dropping. I am not able to complete verification. There are network bars showing on my phone for the sim, but I am not being able to get through to 59050 for tele verification. The Vi agency I got the sim card says that...

                      I have subscribed to a prepaid model and have a daily data of 4gb. The speed is very slow and i can hardly use it. I stay in Bangalore RR Nagar near shakthi hill resorts and have been experiencing this for the past one week.

                        My Phone No. [protected], i have ported this number to Jio, but there is an excess paymnet of around 400 Rs., which i want to claim the refund, As i check I do not see any option over their website, nor i can get any person from customer support to talk to them,

                          Hello Vodafone is the worst network ever seen, drop calls every now and then, internet speed problem 4g speed looks like 2g speed. the company should look i to this or else they will start loosing potential customers, it has become the worst network in fee months.

                            Since Vodafone is not able provide proper data and calling service to my location getting very poor calling quality and data service, i am trying to port my number to another cellular network service provider. When i am trying to generate porting code i am getting below message.
                            "upc cannot be generated as there are subsisting contractual obligations with your service provider"

                            After discussion with Vodafone helpdesk they asked me to visit Vodafone showroom. Showroom people saying that i have plan with discount so they discontinued that plan too but still not able to generate upc code. I am still getting same issue.

                            Vodafone service desk is unable to provide any solution and there network service is worst after there coloration with idea.

                            Please help me to get out of Vodafone network.

                                I (Viresh kumar tomar) have been using my current mobile number ([protected]) since 2010, which i bought on my own id, and in 2014-15 when all smartphones started asking for nano sims i did a sim change as well for the same mobile number using my own id and address proof.

                                But today on 08 oct 2020 as i downloaded the vi app and entered my mobile
                                I've come to know that the mobile number that i've been using for the past 10 years is registered on some girl's name (Apurna) that i don't know and her address is of a location in delhi that i've never visited or had any connection to in my life.

                                Now how did the vodafone employees did this magic is beyond my understanding. So, to resolve this issue i contacted the ever so wonderful customer care of vodafone for the first time in my life and had the worst experience anyone can have, instead o[censored]nderstanding the issue all of those customer care executives were blaming me for the issue that the number is registered on the same name for which the id i've provided and all 3 of them disconnected the call.
                                Yes, i tried to make them understand the issue 3 times with all different executive and they were all rude and putting the fault on me for the same. Where is the customer care in that i still don't understand?

                                Now, 1. I want to know that if my number is registered on some else's name is there a possibility that someone is using a number that is registered on my name.
                                2. I want this number to be registered on my name and i don't wanna lose this number, because on of the customer care executive very rudely calamed that i won't be able to get the number registered on my name as in their records it's registered to someone else and i'll need their permision.

                                I can't even fathom, how i'm at a fault here and why i'll have to suffer for the mistake of vodafone executives not doing their jobs properly.

                                5 Days waiting for them to even register the issue. Still haven't been contacted by them by any means.
                                This complaint hasn't been resolved. There were no efforts made by Vodafone to resolve this issue.
                                How fake and irresponsive can you guys can be to mark a complaint resolved without my consent, this is outright fraud with the consumer.

                                Thank god I was able to port this number to Jio.

                                    I received an Sms from 54300 about caller tune activation and deduction of Rs 99 from my prepaid balance. All this while I’ve not even touched my phone or requested any caller tune service. It has happened completely without my consent or approval. I request you to cancel the unscrupulous subscription and refund Rs 99 in my prepaid balance which were deducted without my knowledge.

                                      As vodafone has severe network issue, i decided to port out yesterday. Today morning i got a call claiming to be a jio representative and told me that my jio network will get activated from tomorrow but before that we have to cancel billing from vodafone and asked me send a sms from my mobile "cancel my number" to 1900. The way she was forcing me to do it immediately i thought it to be fishy. I disconnected my call and called jio agent whose number i had. He told me vodafone is using such tricks with many of its customer and he even has recording of the same. That lady even sent me sms of how to cancel billing. Penalties should be levied on vodafone for committing such frauds
