Hi,

I have raised request to convert my prepaid connection to postpaid connection. I got sim on 20th July. The sim got activated on 22nd July without any prior notice. At that time they told me to send address proof on email, I have already sent them.Now they have barred my outgoing stating proof are not there and there system takes 48 hours to update. Today its more than 48 hours still my services are barred.Its really troublesome.Customer care center is of no help.After my repeated calls to 111 i am not getting any favorable response.

Please look into the issue and get it resolved.

Vodafone — Non-functioning of connection

My pre-paid (life-time) vodafone mobile No.[protected] is not working for two days. Earlier, I am facing a problem of activation of 'Bhaktisagar' facilities four times without any request for the same. Each time Rs. 49/- have been deducted. The customer care does not give any convincing reply.

Can the vodafone authorities look into my problem ?

This is karan singh I am your client and i am having no. [protected] with monthly rental of 499 . I am facing problem with my no .that my outgoing call always used to bared without any information. I spoke with your executive (jitendra ) on date 26.12.2009 at 3pm and i asked reason behind that he told me that i have reached my credit limit after that i have requested him for unbarred my call for 24 hour and i ll make the payment. after that he asked me that my service will open within 2 hour my request no is [protected] .but my service was not reopen till 8 pm on same day after that i spoke with some ashok kumar near by 8 pm and he also told me that it will be reopen within 2 hour but still it is not open. After that i called in cutomere care for know the reason that people disconnect my call and not make any entry in data base. Lastly i spoke with surender kumar regarding all these problem he has given me a request no. that is 18709725 so please update me on this request no. or please send me the process to close my connection. I will wait for your reply.

Vodafone — My postpaid no not working

I have taken new post paid connection from vodafone.i have paid initial amount ,submitted proper document but my no is not started at this time .After 20 days i decided for complain,i am really disappointed about service of vodafone.

Vodafone — mobile connection not working

Postpaid mobile connection is not working. Mobile phone shows message as "No service"
Details as under
1. Lost sim card and got services inactivated on 18.11.11
2.a) Got duplicate SIM from Vodafone store in sector 35 C on 28/29 .11.11, was told sim would be functional after 4 hrs; sim did not work till 1/2.12.11
2b) at the same time asked for migration of connection from corporate to individual was given a sim and told this would start functioning on 1.12.11; this sim is still not functioning
3) contacted helpline ,which was no help at all
4.got phone number of nodal officer who does not pick up phone; only play a recorded message saying thanks for calling nodal officer
5.e-mailed on 5.12.11 at e mail id provided on website, got an auto response saying we will contact u within 2 days ; no response from them

    Hello....vodafone company has deducted 72rs from my balance giving the reason that I had sent mms on 5-6-13.But sent text sms to 24 recipients as"good morning"...but balance was deducted...so i went to Vodafone store.There i showed the delivery messages as proof that i had sent sms and not mms,so they took complaint...but now they are saying that amount will be not refunded......i need my legal amount...

    Vodafone — CUSTOMER NOT INFORMED PRIOR TO DEDUCTING THE BALANCE FOR A SERVICE

    i recieved a msg from Vodafine-TM which read that by sending ACT SMS21 to 111, u can avail unlimited sms for a period of 7 days with Re 1 being deducted for the 1st msg every day.. IT NO WHERE MENTIONED THAT A RENTAL OF Rs21 will be deducted for the same. As per the TRAI guidelines the customer needs to be informed about any charges prior to the service activation.
    Which in my case was not done. Called up the customer care 2 times - in turn they argue saying ATLEAST YOU WERE INFORMED AFTER THE SERVICE ACTIVATION - also, i was put on infinite hold for both the times times i called the customer care. with out any resolution
    But my point is that i should have been informed before activation that Rs 21 will be deducted from my account.

    sir/madam,i m a vodafone customer since five months bearing mobile no. [protected].Onthe night of 15th july i got a messsage from vodafone about activation of some ring tone which i never intended and they deduct a sum of Rs 30 from my account, after deactivation of it my balance didn't reimburse.I called customer care frequently but all in vain. now plz help me getting my money back,that's the daily drama of these people,they activate something or another on their own.

[protected],a prepaid customer from Mumbai,want to say that, vodafone deducted my 45 Rs from my account and i received a msg that the Callertune service activated on your account, i received call from vodafone but i m not click any button & after a few seconds i received message activated CT,and i called to customer care about the deduction,i m not get proper reply from executives (Hussain Electrikwala).so i want give complaint about this executive becoz he is TL over there & he say's m TL not need to maintain Quality & he very rude on call & not having any politeness.and i just want to say to vodafone plz teach your executive to do work properly& return my deducted amount as soon as possible

    I am having a complaint of bal deduction on my no. [protected]. As i got the free surfeing of 500 MB on this no. as i just join the vodafone from Idea Network. As i was not able to make the contact to Agents i call to customer care from my other no. & asked about the last date of free surfeing. He told me that the last date is 14 April 2011 till 11:59 P.m. As i used this service but my bal is deduct for this. It means Vodafone is cheating me. I want my bal refund otherwise i will Port Out my all Vodafone Activated no.     I have recharged with GPRS pack of 95.00 rupee at 08:17 PM on 13th april 2012. I started using gprs in my mobile by around 08:40 PM andafter 10 minutes i recieved a pop up message saying that around 121 rupee balance has been deducted from my main balance account.
    Note: i started using gprs pack after receiving message from vodafone that your gprs pack has been activated. Recieved a confirmation message at 08:20 PM on 13 april 2012. Having message as a proof.

    I called customer care around 5-6 times and they are not taking any response. One of the customer care executive asked me to raise a complaint in vodafone store and vodafone back-end team will look into that. I raised a complaint and they confirm me that they will provide me info by 18 april. Vodafone complaint no is [protected].
    I didnot get any call from vodafone and recieved a message on 18 april saying that i am not reachable. i called on 20 april and discussed about this issue, still nothing happen. The different reason from different vodafone customer care executive i am getting for my unfair balance deduction are given below:
    1. Generally gprs pack activation will take 2-3 hour and because of that your main balance has been deducted for browsing.
    Note: it is not possible to use the internet of 121 rupee in 2-3 hour with mobile and with poor vodafone internet speed service.

    2. One of the senior executive told the balance is deducted from your mobile because of the internet usage till 8:18 PM on 13 april.
    Clarification: I started gprs pack at around 08:35 to 08:40 and after receving message from vodafone at 08:20 PM that "Your GPRS pack has been activated". Also if the balance is of the internet usage upto 08:18 PM, why did i receive a pop up message of balance deduction after 08:40 PM.

    Please take action on my complaint.

    I activated GPRS pack in my Vodafone prepaid number +91 [protected] (mind it! I switched from Reliance to Vodafone for better service and now this is what I'm writing here) but I found almost 4-5 times that there are unfair balance deductions from my main account though I haven't made any calls or sent messages to anybody. I tried to check last three usage details by dialing *111# but let me assure you that is a crap application Vodafone has made and it will always show "Sorry! Recent Deduction History is not available for your prepaid number. Press # for main menu." Now when for the third time it happened, I dropped an email and after couple of day one customer care executive called me up and she first said that balance had been deducted as I had sent messages to 144 (at least your customer care folks should not give these kind of silly reasons) and after a lot of arguments she gave me RS 10.00 credit back to my account. Now again after few days, suddenly I saw balance deduction again without any reason and when I replied back to my previous email now nobody is replying. I was usiing this number mainly for GPRS and now I am afraid they will deduct more money if I keep on using this number for GPRS.

    So, now I decided to deactivate the 1GB GPRS pack and will use my airtel number for the same. I tried all possible options like CAN GPRS, CAN VL, CAN VL95 but I am getting messages like Vodafone system is busy, please try after 72 hours! Now my current GPRS pack will expire on 08/07/2012 and I am quite sure now that Vodafone will charge another 95.00 for renewal of my data pack. :(

    Oh my god! I am thinking to go back to Reliance again. Their network is sometimes awful but at least they do not do these kind o[censored]nfair things.

    I recharged for net pack today and i received message stating that my plan was activated after that i started using internet from my mobile.after sometime they unfairly deducted 324/- from my balance at rate 10p/10kb.when i called customer care they said that the plan starts after 3 hrs.I was not informed this in any message and if it plan was going to start after 3 hrs why did they send activation message..?..

    on 28 October 2012 (Sunday) Vodafone deducted some 135 INR Rs from my account.     i got the same problem and the same reply from this vodafone guys...and its very untrue because dey havent mentioned anywhere this 2g pack will take 4 hours to get activate...and v get the sms immidiatly from the vodafone that tha pack is active and balance is available...so they cannot argue on that ground...we can fight with them on this issue as they havent mentioned anywhere about that it will get any specific time to activate...

    I was surfing some porn site thats when a website opened and it had a vedio on clicking the play button i was charged with rs 75 and a message arrived that u have subscribed to asian girls at Rs75/24hrs ...vodafone asks you twice before getting any addons and this has been deducted just like that.     I request all of you not to use this stupid vodafone. This is what happened to me fourth time and the customer care is doing nothing but only repeating the same sentence you used a chargeable content, where balance is deducted only by clicking. I wanna know what type of content is that? When only I surf facebook and use whatsapp with my mobile phone with an unlimited internet pack.

That is really strange and unfair because I haven't got any sms or confirmation regarding the balance deduction. Infact this is happened 4th time in my number.

    I always have an unlimited datapack on my phone number so balance cannot be deducted for surfing.
    But he was continuously saying that I clicked on a chargeable website and he was not ready to tell the name of so called chargeable website where only a clicking worth rupees 35. I want my balance back this time, but they are saying only clicking charge rs 35 without any confirmation. I wanna know what type of service this is?

    my name is abhisekh, i have switched my reliance no. [protected] to vodafone through porting it last 1.5 months. I am having a really bad experience by doing so, coz every time there is an unwanted deduction from my balance. recently i have activated the DND (Do Not Disturb) service hoping that there will be no more unwanted activation or deduction from my balance, but still the company is deducting it again.
    Please look into the matter urgently...coz this is like robbing the customer directly.

From my Vodafone no [protected] Vodafone deducted rs45 from my balance without doing anything in my phone and msg came thanks for subscribing wellness service at the rate of rs45 but I didn't subscribe both idea and Vodafone are doing it regularly with their customers they activate any service and deduct amount for their own I m fed up with this I will port out my no soon from vodafone.t hey have to take consent from customer by sending msg yes or no.but they directly deduct money.

Before this I have observed many times that of there is balance in your account which isn't used for a period of time Vodafone automatically activates such useless plans nd charges the customer for such plans

      Vodafone Postpaid — Charges for Customer Care Services

      Mobile service providers charges for customer care services. Why TRAI is allowing such thing. In my bill, I am being charged for Internet services, which I never used or activated and every month I am being charged for the same. Even by mistake, a button is pressed, I am getting message that this service is not acrtivated, still I am being charged.

      Vodafone — Vodafone 3G

      Hi

      Vodafone is fooling customers through Blackberry unlimited plan for 3G. Vodafone provides 599 plan where one can access unlimited internet.

      However in my latest bill they have seperately charged for Vodafone live which is a GPRS framework. They say because you used Vodafone live you have to pay. This is ridiculous. How can you charge a customer for using GPRS platform if you are providing 3G unlimited. If there is any problem with your network, a 3G phone will automatically catch GPRS framework for which they will charge. This is atrocious and unfair.
      I already changed the settings and deactivated long back as suggested by customer care. Let me reiterate that I am unable to use internet even my mobile settings support it and by mistake I press the button for web browsing. There is no loading of any data from any website (you can check with your system), still if you wish to charge unnecessarily, its your wish.

      Vodafone — 3 G services

      I bought a 3 G data connection ( [protected]) with a wireless router & 6 month subscription to work with my Acer Iconia tab computer. This never worked properly & repeated visits to their Adayar outlet did not resolve the issue.I then bought a USB stick modem & the connection is no better. Upon prodding Iam told that their 3 G services in Chennai is still under implementation & will take another 6 months to be fully operational.
      This multinational is taking public for a ride by advertising 3 Mbps speed but actually does b not support even a few Kbps. My Reliance 2 G is much faster. I would like to sue this company & get my full refund for the hardware & subscription paid. How do I go about this please. Kindly advice.

      Airtel is no better & more expensive. I have a 3 G connection for my I phone & work mostly on 2 G in chennai

      I tried to get my complain resolved for 3G data pro ration of charges. I changed my plan to 3G as informed from customer care that my 3G will be charged at pro rated charges.

      Now I am charged at the standard rate.i have been with Vodafone for quite sometime. I regret to inform you that I am not going to pay. As these charges are unfair to the customer.

      Also I am getting template answers from your customer care.

        Despite of resolving the issue you guys have disconnected my incoming too. I have been using vodafone singe i brought my first mobile 2004.
        This makes me sick, with this type of service you provide.
        There are many complaints registered from my end and none of them are resolved and you guys send a message saying nothing excessive billing found and close the ticket.

        My mail i sent to vodafone on june 26th.

        I got a reply saying that there is discrepancy in billing.
        Then what is that excessive billing on 2G if it is unlimited @ 64kbps

        *Total Bill :* 1550.05

        (Usage ,Messaging and Roaming)
        *Bill should be :* 641.39 (241.39+250+50+100) (including late payment charges)
        *Got charged Extra RS : *908.66

        I have contacted your Vodafone executive on phone and asked him why i got charged extra. He told me that he is gonna raise a request to waive it off with in 5 days. Its been more than 5 days and nothing has happened and there is another bill generated again with extra charge which includes late payment too. Is it my fault for making payment late? Its because of you guys who don''t have a good system in place to take care of customers.

        Below is the bill generated two days back.
        *June 25th Bill:* *Total Bill :* 2048.16
        *Usage :* 452.23 (424.23+28) (Usage and Messaging)
        *Bill should be :* 752.23 (452.23+250+50+100) (with out late payment charges)
        *Got charged Extra RS : *1295.93

        *Note :* After finishing my 1GB 3G usage i got a message saying, you can avail another 1GB data by sending a message. I did so. As there is no 3G in AP why the hell are you sending out such message and leeching money from customers. As there is no 3G you should no charge me 250 more, which has been removed from the bill analysis above.

        Vodafone — excessive data charge

        My mobile no is [protected] with vodafone in mumbai. I am a blackberry user and on a 599 plan which provides me unlimited access to my emails, browsing and downloading. However, in the last two months vodafone has charged me for me around 1900 & 2500 as browsing and downloading charges. When I contacted the customer service they say that it is because I have used audio and video streaming, to which I denied and requested them to pull up their data and verify, which they did not do.           Subject: Vodafone's customer harassment because customer (me) has ported the number to other service provider

          Voda is charging a wrong amount for internet charges because i ported my number to another service provider. I have clarified voda executive several times, who called me ‘n’ number of times to please defer/waive off the wrong charges (especially internet charges as i was using the ) but they are listening. and sometimes a guy calls me and wave off 500/- and sometimes more. He negotiates as if i am buying a vegetable. the whole amount they have shown in my bill is wrong and i am not accountable to pay any wrong charges.

          I asked the voda billing agent that incase during the transit time( time taken to port from voda to another service provider) If there are any call charges pls inform, I will pay that. It is already frustrating as the customer has switched to another service provider so voda are harassing me by calls and mails.
          I have already told VODA many a times that there is no outstanding bill on my side. 442/- (month april- i paid) was the outstanding bill which I paid so that my number can be ported to airtel.

          There is a policy in AIRTEL only when you close all your outstanding bill with the current mobile service provider then only you can port your number to other (airtel) service provider.
          This is harassment of the customer as I am receiving phones as well as email from voda for the amount which is not mine or which is not due at my part. I would wish to take this matter to consumer court as I am asked to pay the fraud amount.

          Vodafone — Subject to harassment

          I have been subject to a lot of harassment by Vodafone. I bought the first sim card way back in 2007. The minute I filled my forms with all the details of name and residential address along with identity proof with a PAN card, they immediately called me up asking for my details again. The for months they kept on playing on my phone a recorded message stating that I will have to produce identity proof papers and residential proof papers. When I did produce them and asked them the reason they said the same number had been issued to two customers which is hard to believe.

          Then once I started travelling in the Himalayas, their customer care kept harassing me at least once in two weeks to ask me which part of India I am in and when will I be coming back to Chennai. This was a constant harassment and each call from their side would cost me one rupee on the roaming. Finally I had to shout at the employee over the phone and they stopped harassing me with calls.

          Then again I would receive calls from some random person if I would travel to some places. They constantly have been harassing me for some reason or the other. And now, again they are asking for re-verification. Is this totally necessary? In case they cannot trust their customers then why not just disconnect the number? If they are so concerned about security etc... then better not issue sim cards instead harass their customers. If they have doubts about our track records then just better cancel instead of following up on their customers constantly asking where they are travelling, why they are travelling, and when they will come back home which is none of their business at all.

          This is to relate in a summary the harrowing and harassed experience with Vodafone “Happy to Help “… you see the picture of a Dog.
          Please note, you will be treated worse than a Dog.....believe me
          I have made the biggest mistake in life to have imagined that Vodafone is one of the best Service providers in the Country.
          I have had issues for the last one year and they do not care to resolve a customer issue.
          The network is pathetic with poor range in a prime locality in Chennai like Guindy Ekattuthangal .
          Repeated phone calls to the Help line number, the Nodal Office and the Appellate Office are a futile attempt to resolve issues and only result in a huge waste of time and effort.
          No one is has the basic decency to revert to a customer understanding his/her issue.
          None of the Officers are accessible to an aggrieved Customer and they are always busy.
          No one in the Nodal Office is “Happy to Help” in fact they are very happy to complicate and be of the least possible help.
          My experience and frustration is being very mildly expressed on this site, basically to warn the Public of all false commitments by such unscrupulous Service Providers who do not understand the meaning of Service.
          I had been given repeated commitments that my issue would be resolved, but on the other hand things get worse.
          Even after all this when you make a payment as a rightful citizen you are harassed ,saying your payment is due and your line will be disconnected.
          This is the true state of affairs which can be proved with evidence and facts.

          I was told by the highest Costomer greviance office that I would get a call within an hour, it is now past time and I am yet to receive a call as per the commitment...
          This happens every time ...hence im am forced to add...
          To make things clear I have other Connections like Airtel, TATA DOCOMO, TATA Indicom, which all function well with good range only my Vodafone range is absolutely pathetic.
          After making a payment on 19th to theit own Office, you dont get an update even after four days.They say it will take seven days to update a payment .In the mean time you get SMS alerts and Voice Messages to make payment or your line will be disconnected.
          After followup with their Nodal Office and giving evidance and details of payment made four days earlier, you still get such harrasing sms and so on...
          Again after followup you get a sms thanking for Payment and soon afterwards get another SMS threatening to disconnect if payment is not made... This is the best Service Provider and the Best Customer Experiance !!!
          Who will dare to take up a Customer issue and deliver justice/get justice?????

            Sorry to say but your service is very ridiculous...As you had suggested me, I had visited the store and they had provided me a new Sim. But in the new Sim I am also facing the same issue for the 3G Service...I had complaint on 26th June and today is 23rd July almost 1 month you had taken to resolve an simple issue..In your Customer Care they are telling me our technical team is working on this Issue...But my concern is “As I am the only person who had taken the 3G Service from you in Delhi NCR Circle"?
            Nobody is talking about my previous 3G Data Balance. I had recharged with 855rs and 249rs for 1 GB, thinking that now it will be resolve due to I had changed the 3G plan but I was really shocked to see the same issue on the new Recharge as well.
            Now I am going to buy a new connection of Airtel and I will discontinue my Postpaid Vodafone Number [protected] or I will do MNP in Airtel after facing this Issue...
            You are worst than MTNL Provider but now they are very much better than you to providing Services.
            Now I am also post on Consumer Complaint Help Desk for this issue so that after seeing this complaint nobody will think of taking your service.

              On 30 May 2013 i send them mail to deactivate/disconnect postpaid connection.
              after that they replied me on 1 june 2013 for the feedback.

              after that on 10 june i got bill from 5 may to 5 june (since i got confirmation 1 june ) so that i again send mail regarding deactivation on 12 june after that they replied me on 14 june 2013 that your number is deactivated w.e.f 14 june 2013.

              after that on 10 july 2013 they sent me bill from 5 june 2013 to 5 july 2013.
              then i sent mail them that my number was deactivated on 14 june 2013 why are you sending me bill . then they are saying that your number will be deactivated from 19 july 2013 please pay bill for june.
              Please help me in this matter.I have saved all mail which i got from vodafone if you need in solving this please let me know i will forward you .

                I had requested for 3g tariff change on june 25th 2013 for 2gb unlimited. Customer service team said that the change will be effective in 2 hours.
                Instead they had deactivated my 3g services completely for 2 days, when i called customer care i was given all rubbish reasons that application is down, the activation will take 48 hours etc.,.

                I kept on calling customer service daily and no one was able to solve my query, instead they started blaming my samsung note 2 that phone has a problem as my 3g plan is already active.

                This went for next 3 more days and i was totally frustrated and asked for team leader or floor supervisor to answer my call, but i continusouly told that they all are busy and i will be a call back within 24 hours. I never received any call. Again i called and this time i said i will be online and wait till their floor supervisor hungs up his call and answer mine, the executive put me on hold saing that supervisor will pick my call once he finishes his call i waited for 1hour 30 mins and no one turn down, this happened for two days.

                Finally i clearly told the executive that this call is getting recorded, so hear carefully "i am not going to pay the bill and you can do what ever you want"

                Now collection team is calling me everyday for bill payment and i am clearly telling them that am not paying it, they say ok and next day there will be an other call from different guys asking to pay the bill.

                Their english is so pathetic, some time i have to struggle to understand. This is most worst experience.

                I have been asking these people to create my id in my vodafone so that i can retreive my important nos. I have been calling them for about 10 days. Every time they say it will be done within 24 hours. But nothing has been done. They can't bloody do these small things, i am surprised how they are popularising their bloody slogan happy to help.                 Vodafone — Ireelevant changes and Pathetic customer service

                I have been using Vodaphone postpaid connection since almost 5 years .Recently since last couple of years I am having issues and not receiving the bill .Inspite of sending emails and calling the customer care there is no proper response .I was receiving the bills via email since last 4-5 months i have not been receiving that as well and pon speaking to Vodaphone cust care they say that option is deactivated (without my knowledge).
                I have also been receiving ISD incoming wronmg no's and always receive a pop up message "please allow the SIM to send a message".

                Guess there is some misusage on the no.When i spoke to cust care about the Pop up message and sky high bill , there response was i will have to change my number by paying Rs 50 addl .

                Its been such a poor service and so now cancelling the services.
                I have posted this so that all those who get this message probably can keep a track of their bill.

                Vodafone — Pathetic Service (No Customer Care)

                Today (15th August 2010, Independence Day), I witnessed pathetic service from Vodafone, worst process gaps and worst Service Level Agreement (SLA) from Vodafone.

                on 14th Aug, I recharged a prepaid number for 250rs. from Vodafone.in (online transaction). I received an email from Vodafone that the transaction is successful. However, even now my phone is not recharged. I spoke to Vodafone customer care. They do not see that transaction in their system. They see this as a 'technical problem' and it will take 5 working days to 'credit' that amount into my bank account. However, there is no solution from them to charge the phone.

                They later suggested to try a similar transaction from ICICI online a/c if vodafone online site is not working. I immediately tried through ICICI online a/c and recharged for the same amount 250rs. I got the transaction confirmation but the phone is not recharged. I spoke to Vodafone customer care. Instead of resolving this issue, they said that I have raise a complaint after 4 working days to get my money back.

                This is a basic problem. I recharge online. I get a confirmation. But, the phone is not recharged. Very basic. I am shocked and suprised to see vodafone does not have a solution to this.

                I happen to do this transaction for my mother who has gone on a work to Mumbai and is alone.She only has 9rs. in her mobile charge. I explained this to Vodafone and vodafone is not able to understand the actual problem. They refer to a process that deals with "money back" and forgets to have a "human touch".

                If this continues, I do not think they can survive in India. They have a serious issue in their system and their customer care makes it even pathetic.

                Above all, I first got a Kerala Vodafone Customer care number. It never talked about call charge (for that call). Whereas, when I called Mumbai Vodafone Customer care number, it says 50paise for 3 minutes. The process is different for different cities. I am not sure why.

                Worst system and worst customer care I have ever seen. No wonder why Airtel beats them hands down!

                Vodafone Customer Care executives put customers on hold for 20 minutes at a stretch!
                Vodafone Customer Care deteriorating every single day.

                They have trouble locating my house during address verification process and do not even bother to give a call at the number provided by them to help them in locating the address

                then their verification executives go and complain that address verification could not be done and disconnect the services.

                then i call up the customer care and get the services re-activated and make a request for re-verification

                this cycle has been going on for that past 6 weeks now

                my vodafone gets disconnected every 3rd day!

                And when i call the customer care i am put on hold every time for atleast 20 minutes!!!!
                no value for customer's time.
                this is torture by vodafone!

                Sub: 3 good reasons to abandone vodafone and switch to other service provider.

                1) attitude driven customer service - called on evening of 06 dec'2010, answered by heena - ccexe., i requested for the bill amt that required to be paid on my husbands account. For verification, i confirmed his dob, bachelor address (As this is his old no. & an fomer information were mentioned on record & we were married for the past 5 months), only i couldn't confirm the room no. The agent refused to to provide tiffle information as to billing amt (I wanted to pay it dont you understand). The conversation was going no where so i asked for a supervisor to which she said, she can't, it doesn't matter if i complained, wow!!! Attitude huh.. And this not the first time and vodafone doesnt care.

                2) to many language's voice recording - miss on one of its payment, vodafone makes sure that ur life is miserable. When i subcribed to vodafone, i made it sure that i wanted all communication in one language, then why 3 languages voice recording for payments.

                3) fake concern for customers - vodafone has no genuinity & they dont care, if they actually did use their recorded customer calls for training then why such poor customer service. You do show that you are trying to set thing right by following futile procedure... The end result is that you have useless customer service.

                I faced a Similar situation.
                I recharged my Mobile Online for Rs 222 on 10-jan-2011 using ICICI Internet banking. I was not redirected back to the Vodafone Site but my amount was deducted. The Transaction Failed, but amount deducted
                I did another Transaction of Rs 222 using dircetly my debit card and the Transaction was successfull. I got a recharge of Rs 222.
                But the earlier amount deducted is not refunded back to my account till date.
                They ask for Transaction Id which they claim is sent as SMS. I donot have any transaction Id.
                Why can't they just refund the Money to the Bank account which credited Rs 222. Why the Onus is on Consumer to give the Transactoion Id. this is looting money as after a while people are fed up of calling customer care and leave it.
                Just a Basic Process of Refund is not set properly for failed Transaction. I am from IT and understand How pathetic their Systems are. The onus of providing the Transaction Id shouls not be with the Consumer. if he had so much Time why wd he do an Internet banking Transaction to recharge

                Then atlast I said ur sleeping kya m saying hello hello from here ur not responsing after tht he kept quiet and didn’t responsded only thn I disconnected cal 4m my side.

                Am not writing nor calling anywhere as I have had enough conversation and wasted time, yesterday I got a call from some one asking what is the issue. I told him go to consumercomplaints.in, read the issue and then call me back.

                I am not going to pay the bill as I have had enough from vodafone.

                  Connection Suspended for no reason

                  My vodafone pre-paid connection number - [protected] was recently bought and had used only for a week, suddenly the connection was suspended for no reason intimated. I was out of station for two weeks when i did not use this line. Now when i recharged for Rs. 222/- and tried to use it says 'Account Suspended'. Request you to kindly look into and reactivate my account.

                  Hi Vodafone Officer,

                  I am a postpaid vodafone customer from the past three years with good track record of paying bills without nay fail via ECS Facility . Unfortunately last month I was not in to situation and took long leave for my marriage in midst of tight schedules I could maintain the balance in my account. This lead to ECS cancellation. Normally it wont appear but this instance I even not got time to look into my account . I explained the same to Customer care executive and got confirmation from the customer care executive that there will not be any late fee charge.

                  Till now I did not get any request# or any update on the same. Over and above I received a bill intimation for last month as Rs 2191/- including the last month charges . To be honest I really shocked to get such high bill which in any case not comes in my normal use age . It is evident from my previous bills . My bills lands up with 500 – 800 on average monthly . I really suspect and believe that the bills raised on me needed to checked and should be given waiver as I have not made calls drastically . Hence I request you to allow reduction on bill on the basis of average call ratio.

                  Again I found that the bank has deducted the ECS penalty bounce from my account. Currently I am going through tight financial conditions and this sort o[censored]nplanned high bills and penalty will effect my family expenditure adversely . Hence i request you to take appropriate actions to waive off the excess bill and allow me to regularize the payment as per the previous bills averages .

                  Also I request you to change my payment facility to By cash from ECS
                  Being a privileged customer, I would like to get my problem solved on a priority basis.Kindly look into and do the needful ASAP.

                    This is to bring to your kind notice that I have been using your vodafone number [protected] and been your valued customer from the last 10 years( Essar days.../ Hutch & now Vodafone). But this is for the first time that I got a shock of my life when I checked my june bill amount to be Rs.1958 and july bill for Rs 1826 which no doubt is not at all possible since I have never crossed the limit of 800 - 900 per month. I have been wrongly charged for my 3g data plans. It is very sad to see that a valued customer be treated as such.I have spoken to all your customer care executives and also visited the Vodafone Shop in Vile Parle East but all in vain as they told I will have to pay my entire bill. It is giving me nightmares since I am not in a position to pay the same as I have not misused my phone.I hope the company will take an action and provide me the fresh bill on actuals as per past for prompt settlement otherwise I will be forced to surrender the connection.

                    I want to register complaint against traffic police Sonali Ankush Sathe .
                    On 17 April 2010 near Dagadi Pool Rd she wrongly charged me 100 Rs on account of stopping vehicle on zebra crossing. I had to stop suddenly since the vehicle in front of me had taken left turn from extreme right and orange signal was also about to change. But instead of taking action against the vehicle which had broken the law and ran away, I was charged unnecessarily without hearing any explanation from me.
                    The officer also arrogantly replied that I can complaint against her to any senior officer .

                    I request to take action against her as she favoured the person who broke the law and penalised the person who prevented the accident.
                    I want to launch complaint against Auto-rikshaw number MH03AA-1509 which I catched from Sakinaka Junction -Mulund East .I am regularly going thr this route.On Monday 23-Aug010 there was no traffic at all and with this situtaion meter showed 159 as meter reading.When I asked driver that meter reading is wrong(Normally without traffic meter reading is max 90(meter reading) and with traffic at Powai signal it is max 110(meter reading), he was not ready to listen, first he continued saying this is the proeper reading.But when I told him that I am travelling through same route daily with auto he started saying ki "Madam thoda meter main problem hoga".But when I asked to come to police station in Navghar station, he took 120 Rs and ran away.If some one who is not aware of correct reading that person would have given as per the meter reading.Some action should be taken against this kind of drivers.
                    I am vodafone ([protected]) customer from last 2 months. Company has deducted Rs. 31, 30, 30 from my account for internet, music, job services on oct $ 2 nov 10. But I have not been requested for any services. I have called to customer care and they were saying that i have no any info regarding this. Here matter is not only for Rs. 91, but this is the matter for charging wrongly from customer account. Please look out the issue.

                    vodafone has charged me rs. 96 of internet without my permission. on 19th of december 2010 a call from vodafone office i received they say that would you interested in internet services but i dont take interest in this service and told them that i dont want this service dispite of which ofter few hours i got a messege that my internet service has been deactivated i shock on this messege because i haven't even activated any kind of this service and when i check my account i found that vodafone company charged me rs. 96 rs. for internet service. i called the vodafone custmer care and take to vikas but they don.t give me any response i tried many time there ofter but they take no interest.plz i want to say vodafone is this a way to deal a custmer. this is my bitter experince with vodafone if they doing this kind of behaviour to there custmer then its not fare now iam palnning to change vodafone number by number portability when ever its come.....

                            I am ABHISHEK SARMA, I have done recharge before a week but until now i did not get the full amount.... Giving wrong information or improper information is causing the trouble for me... I have called to the customer care for 5 to 6 times they have not responded to me as satisfactory, they have registered the complaint [protected] at the "6 time". Even its not the first time i faced this problem, its the second time... I have done the recharge for 82Rs (2 times) and the complete balance has not been credited as given in the offer, earlier once i did same recharge i found that balance is not credited properly then immediately i called the customer care .. they credited the whole balance and they gave me information that the balance for this type of recharges will be credited in 4hrs from recharge, when i did the recharge for the second time same recharge(2 times) i waited for the 4 hrs of time but i did not get the balance still now means a week after also... And now i have been trying for customer care and complaints my call has not being connected to the executive, i have tried for at least 20 to 30times... its not allowing me for one to one executive speech...

                              Sorry to say but happy to help you slogan doesn't look to be suiting Vodafone anymore.

                              I have been trying to transfer a number ([protected]) from my wife name to me and submitted the request twice to your vodafone store at sector-18 with all the documents and also got the SIM but it has been more than a year nothing happened even after following multiple times.
                              When I call customer care they say they can't do anything as this is still with store and when I call store they say they have forwarded the request worst ever customer care.

                              I even have the SIM card which you guys issued for the transfer but transfer never happened, I never thought transfer could take years I believe PSU company would do better here.

                              Worst even now one of your executive want me to submit application from my wife'e employer as it is a corporate connection.. WHAT IS THIS??? Company doesn't pay for our mobile connection and it is not in company name but individual name and if we default you are not going to go to the employer but us and also company doesn't have time and resource to issue this kind of silly and meaningless request.

                              I am writing to you as my last hope and I am not going to visit any store or office for this transfer, If you can get it done or send your executive to my billing address to get it done it would be great else I will be moving out to a provider who listen to their customer.

                                I am the new customer of vodafone postpaid and subscribe 149 internet plan. Vodafone confirmed me to provide 28 kbps speed according to network. That was the nice pack to use internet on mobiles only.
                                But after 4 month they informed me for the closing of the 149 plan and told me about 199 plan. In which i will get 2 gb data at a speed of 68 kbps and later on it will be at 40 kbps unlimited.
                                But still the speed is not more then 15 kbps.
                                I have complained and they asked me to clear thr cache and history. After that asked to open home page of google. I opend and they said its great your mobile internet is working awsum.

                                I said stupid its just 30 kb page of google. I need the comited speed of 68 kbps. And registered the complainet bt nobody call me and still the problem is not rectified.
                                Also the netorw strength is full. I tried at all the places nearby. Bt speed of internet is not more then 15 kbps.
                                I want to port my no to get better internet speed on mobile and laptops.

                                    Vodafone — Filthy customer service of Vodafone

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    2.5 years back I have taken the Vodafone postpaid connection under MICO CUG plan. The Vodafone employee, who has given me the connection has cheated me. Under that plan two sims were given. I didn't know that. So that person had taken the sim and given it to someone else. After one year, I came to know about this thing when Vodafone sent me a mail to pay the due on that number.

                                    I have approached the nodal officer Mr. Ravi S through email and explained the situation. Asked to close that connection ASAP on Aug-2007 as it was something like an identity theft. From now on, I am frequently asking them to do the needful. But even after one year, they didn't take any action on this. When I call the customer care, there is no response from them. When I call the nodal officer, they immediately cut the line when I ask about this.

                                    The real problem is they are disconnecting my number for the due on the stolen number. Now could anybody help me this? How to washout the filth of Vodafone?

                                    Please suggest any solution for this.

                                    I got a citibank vodafone co branded credit card made upon numerous requests of a vodafone/citibank executive. I was told that the reward points are redeemable against vodafone bills. Now came my turn of making requests. i made a numerous requests to citibank for redemption of these points & everytime i was told that request has been rjected by Vodafone. When i call Vodafone, the ******** sitting at the customer care always tell that they are unable to help. 90% of the times system is down. 10% times they say that you visit vodafone store...If they dont even know the details then why the hell they are sitting there for...I have 5000 points in my card now & no listening at Vodafone...Can anybody help

But we received some of the bills more than Rs. 500.                                     This is Magesh from KRISHANGIRI Tamil Nadu from past one week my customer service has been bard and this is due to the incorrect customer response about the balance refund i recharged with internet pack 98 and this pack was not activated to my number [protected] when i call the customer care and ask about this they gave excuse for each call and always responding by giving fake excuse that they will activate the service and till now they is no response and they started taking balance of mine to minus and they bard the customer care line so kindly request u to take necessary action on this or else i will take legal action about this .........

                                    i am the vodafone customer.But her services are not good .I called vodafone care but number is not working with your mobile.I put the port ,her because of i get good offer first time without informing they activate vodafone to vodafone per minute 40piase.After I told i don't want that offer please deactivate me but not responding and 2 days back vodafone to any network they charge even 1sec (or) 1 minute they charge Rs.1/- that time I called vodafone care in my mobile not working with this number i am facing this problem last 1month what can i do for please tell

                                    Its true and when I convert my vodafone no. Postpaid to prepid they take 2month and I call again and again they told that go to store and I go again and again but every time they took me a new sim . I give 4time of my id and after 2month and 18 days they converted my no. But I don.t receive my 3 ID. And who is responsible for my 3 ID.

                                      My name is Lalan Jha and i want to file a complaint against Vodafone Billing Dept. As they have been misleading me for past 3 months.
                                      I am a postpaid customer and My vodafone no. is [protected].

                                      A person name Pankaj chugh, mobile no.[protected], and collector id card no.H6633 from agency M/s. Hi-tek investigation services pvt ltd has visited me for payment of Rs.1000. i told him that vodafone is charging me extra bill than actual. So he said that, yes vodafone is charging more than actual bill in postpaid connections and i should pay him minimum 700 Rs. At lastly he compromises for Rs.500 for one condition that i should pay him extra Rs.100. I paid total of Rs.600 and said that my no. will activate withing 2 hours. After 24 hour my no. is activated and same day my no. again deactivated.


                                      so i call customer care and visited vodafone store too .They said that i have to pay more Rs.909 and to contact that particular agency for resolution and agency will provide you waiver letter and after that your no. will be activated .So i called agency for resolution of my complaint and they said that there is no. such waiver provided to you. And now i m confused what to do beacause i'have called almost everyone but i m not satisfied with the answer. From 17 may 2013 my mobile no. is deactivated and they continously calling me and sending mails regarding payment of bill.....

                                      Vodafone — Complaint Regarding My BIlling

                                      Hello,

                                      I am a vodafone customer since July'07. I always pay my bills before the due date.
                                      In my current month billing (i.e. bill for the month of june), there are some irregularities.
                                      In my itemised bill details, i found some international (ISD) calls mentioned which are NOT made by me for sure.
                                      These calls charges around Rs. 7200. Also, my unbilled amount for this month has gone upto Rs. 7400 probably for the same reason.
                                      I am not making these ISD calls from my sim. I talked to vodafone customer care and vodafone store (Vashi) for the same reason.
                                      They gave me a very unpleasent response and didn't registered any complaint as well.
                                      There might be a duplicate sim in use or calls from some other account might be transfered to my account.
                                      My sim is being used illegally by some person for making ISD calls.

                                      For the time being, i have blocked my sim services.
                                      Also, my credit limit is Rs. 2900, then how come can i make calls for approx Rs 15000 (billed+unbilled)??
                                      Why my outgoin calls were not restricted when i crossed my credit limit.

                                      Pls look into the matter urgently..it is surely a misuse of my sim.
                                      please release my incoming calls which your system have block. my out going call must be blocked once out calling charges increase more than 299+400= total 700 rupeess. mobile no [protected]

                                      Hi, I am Shaman Jhaveri from Surat, Gujarat.
                                      for the month of May-08. I got my details bill with details showing that i have done 53 MMS on 20/05/08 @ 15:51:30. All @ the same time & same date & also no number shown that on which mobile the MMS is done,
                                      On calling the customer care & also by visiting the Vodafne store no proper answer given to me.

                                      So kindly let me know that how to get refund of that amonunt & also where to lodge complaint.

                                      Hi Aditya,

                                      I also had the same problem as yours. I had converted my vodafone connection to postpaid from prepaid 6 months back and my bill was coming in a normal amount regularly I was paying the same on time. But for the month of July it came around Rs 3900 with approx Rs 2500 of ISD calls made on one singled day i.e. 13th August which indeed was not made by me anyway. I registered complaint but with no effect and the Customer Care Executive told me that my phone was infected with virus hence the call was made automatically on that day. With no help or solution from anywhere I was compelled to pay the entirety of my bill and went to a Vodafone Store nearby and applied for a prepaid again which got activated soon. I was really upset with the postpaid services of Vodafone and the customer is the scapegoat and has to pay whatever they come up with the bill. So I suggest you also go for prepaid instead of the pathetic postpaid plan where ISD call charges are billed against you even if you do not make a single ISD call.

                                      I have a vodafone prepaid connection for last 1 yr, I requested for migration from prepaid to postpaid...all the formalities are done from your side, i also recieved new SIM but till now is not been activated...i had spoked to Customer care department so many times but they are not willing to help me...

                                      I am realy facing a big problem as my prepaid connection is disconnected and post paid is not activated.

                                      Your Customer care department is of no use they rather misguide.

                                      i have complaint against the vodafone telecome regarding the bill. i am the user of this company from last 2 year. or i had used the 2 number.always i paid my mobile bill on time. as per according to the all month in augest month i also pay my mobile bills on 22 augest 2009.the company bill collection person collect it from me on this date. and i had take a reciept of payment from him.and after the two days once again the company bill collection person take the bill of my mobile from my home.and on 26 my both mobile outgoing service is barred due to unpaid bill. that i paid my billes 2 time and the company barred my service due to unpaid of bill.i also show my these reciept to vodafone store or he send it via mail to there seniour.and after the 20 days my outgoing service is activate on 15 september.or the company again send me the bill of my barred number.these are my bussiness number.i had mentally harassment or bussiness losse. and now i am asking who is the responsible for it. and now the company customer care executive daily call my for the bill.
                                      and now plez tell me is it fair that i paid the bill 2 times or the company barred my service or again the company call me for the bill.or his executive way of talking is very cheap they called me daily for which i have problem but nobody is sorted my problem.
