This is my 2nd complaint against vodafone service provider (which now I will rate as the worst telecom service provider in India after all the disgusting experiences)

I lost my phone bought under Vodafone contract & the sim 4 days ago in Delhi (India). I called vodafone cust care for help and leave alone helping me, the reps didn't have sufficient information on lost sim card and said they cannot help as an operator. Barely they managed to block my sim.

2 days ago I bought another sim on same number and asked vodafone reps to reactivate it, they said it will be done in half an hour. After 2 days of constant calling the cust care number, I got no official help from the reps to activate services on my new sim. They asked me to call 117 which after an automated message disconnects the call

After bearing all the agony of lost phone and sim card, I am not even able to have vodafone services activated on same old number.

Vodafone — phone not reactivated

dear sir/madam
i am using a hutch(vodafone) postpaid number [protected] in delhi since the last five years.Recently since i was out of city i could not pay my bill on time and my phone was disabled.So i paid up my bill with full extra charges but my phone now is not enabled.SO i request u to please look in this matter...

Vodafone — Non activation of phone no.

I got a postpaid SIM On 4 January,2011 , But even after 10 days I have not got my Phone No. activated . I have made several visits to vodafone store in Cannaught place ,New Delhi ,but to no avail . Every time I am Getting hollow Promises from the authority.
So,You are requested to Look into the matter. Hoping for a immediate redressal of my genuine Problem.

    Sir, two times of rupees cut from my vodafone no. [protected] of Rs. 22/- bcoz first time i have dialled for activating scheme but there is no reply from vodafone so i have 2nd time dialled but when i see two times of Rs.22 cut from my mobile and i have also talked with vodafone customer care and named is rubinaji, sunilkumar, mehul thakker etc..but they didnt give any satisfactory answer of my call and two times without giving me answer and cut my phone

    So pls. take this in ur account and awaiting for your response.

    1. Vodafone is always deducted amount without my knowledge.
    2. More unwanted advertisement calls and messages.
    3. Customer Care service is very very worst compare to others.
    4. vodafone always gives advertisement "Happy to Help". Is this true? According to me this is "green false", unfaithfully, and cheating...

    Vodafone — Wrongly deduction of Amount from Prepaid

    Sir,

    I am using Vodafone Mobile card since last 2-3 months, on Saturday evening i have received one service call from vodafone comapany & no. was [protected] asking for subscription for Vodaforne Bhakti Sagar Service but i wont ask for subscription for the same but i have received confirmation message form vodafone that your vodaforne bhakti sagar service has been activated on your mobile which is unexpected
    & they have deducted Rs.50/- from my Vodafone Prepaid account regarding this i have asked to vodafone
    customer care executive to refund Rs.50 which was wrongly deducted from my Vodaforne account but they denied for the same now what to do is question remain in my mind & for the same i want your help

    Vodafone — customer services

    The costumer service is not to the mark of rendering the services but it is establishing its own way of publicity rather than dealing towards the complaints. If we go for voice over interactive complaints I get a response saying "we are sorry the server is not responding" and if we call for new activations the server responds quickly how is possible to drain out the pockets of the costumers by them by allocating all unwanted and not subscribed offers to the costumers.

    Vodafone — My money cut

    they cut my money and i call ther call center and they give me refernce no. [protected] and [protected]. two times they cut my money and they told that they got 1st on 24th and 2nd on 25th but they not return back my money. now i want to contact but they are not responding me. vodafone is fake please dnt buy vodafone sim.

      On 21 July 2013 i got a call from your vodafone saying that my number([protected]) is selected for portability without any charge, and he given me a plan of 299 in which i will get 300 local + std Min, 100 sms/month, and 1 GB internet for 3 months and within 10 days my bill reaches aprx 2300/- and my outgoing calls are restricted, so to know the reason i visited J B Nagar Office in Andheri East and Mr. Udit helped me to understand my plans in which internet is not included, which is not my fault at all and Mr. Udit has taken my request([protected]) as false statement given by vodafone dealer and now without investigation they says they will block my sim card.
      its completely fraud so don't go for vodafone.

      Vodafone — plan not given

      I have a vodafone postpaid sim having no. [protected]. when i bought this sim distrubutor told me that i will get v2v 200 mins. and local 100 mins. but still i didn't get this mins. Company have send me 2 bills one is of 305 rs. and other is of 592.70 Rs. it is out of plan and i have told it to the vodafone customer care by taking no. from vodafone site. and i specially talked about this problem to them. And i want to close that sim but they are not understanding it. please sir take a strict against against it or help me to find out my way

          To summarize, there are 4 issues I faced -
          1. No customer service thrice in last week after 8 PM
          2. No internet connection between 9 AM to 9PM, despite of the fact that I have 2G unlimited plan in my sim
          3. Never received any GPRS settings SMS despite I had requested twice
          4. Vodafone took 8 days to solve an issue, not solved yet. Any telecom service industry, a P3 issue even take less than that.

          I am not interested to continue with Vodafone anymore, despite of the fact I have used Vodafone only in 5 countries in last 10 yrs, but this is the worst experience ever. I have decided to move to Airtel MNP soon. This is just a feedback about what worse service customers are experiencing. ( I seriously doubt how Vodafone got best customer service award in West Bengal).

          Dear all,
          this is for your inform dare to convert ur prepaid into postpaid, Vodafone people you commit you quick service but forget it, you 'll be AT GREAT LOST..
          You Money, your time, & Your Energy.
          Last saturday [July 12, 2008] i completed all formalities to convert my prepaid a/c into Post paid but its 10days now & no process till date.
          Not even listening complaints.
          Hi ... I had a very unfortunate experiance with Vodafone... I am a vodafone customer for the past 10 years now and have been holding multiple numbers for all my family members and company numbers. I am very sorry to say this that the service has gone to the dogs. A recent experience I had with the company has left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I activated international roaming and had specifically called up the helpline to check / findout on the international roaming charges front. The GPRS charges were not disclosed clearly and were misrepresented by the helpline attendant. It was only on returning back to india from the UK that i received the bill when they revealed the true international UK roamng charges. As a customer I feel cheated by not disclosing the charges beforehand. I have already decided to shift all my family and company vodafone accounts. You should do the same with a company who has no customer focus.

          These ppl have entered wrong address in their system and I am suffering from my outgoing being barred for 4 dyas. they didnot even notify me before barring my outgoing. Twice ppl came for re-verification, but still these ppl have not reactivated my number.

          Vodafone — Services not available

          I had been trying to connect to vodafone customer care. The call gets disconnected with selecting just 2 IVR options. There is no way they are allowing to connect to the customer care.

          Also their website is not being accessible since 2 weeks.

          I am on romming, and frquintly i am face a NETWORK problam, at that time i wanted to make a complain to resolved it and i dialed "111" But they regreted and insulted me.They are informing me that "Go to your HOME NETWORK and raised the complain over there.

          this vodafone services is really providing th e worlds worst services. i made a call to my freind and ended the call at 50 sec but they charged me for 2 units when i made a call to customer service they are bluffing me saying that u made 2 calls. they charged me for a call even the call has lifted by the person whom i call.im getting irritation with this service because of their unnecessary calls and messages. they make a call about some offers and with out my acceptance they activated the callertune and if asked to customer executives they provide irrelevant answers. in one sentence this is really a service.

          Perfect settings — worst customer service ever.....

          sun direct advertise that they have the best service but it is absolutely wrong. i have been trying to call thier customer care toll no for the last 2 days calling atleast 20 to 30 times each day bll time thr line is busy also the no. 39407575 is busy how can they say they have best service if they cant be contacted. i will never ever recomend sun direct to any one esle.

          Vodafone — Service complaint

          Our television is giving problem. We called the service guy from videocon. He charged us Rs.250 as visiting charge but did not fix the problem. Now when we call the Support Line they are saying that we have to pay the money again for the service. Why should we pay it again when the problem was never resolved

          Dear Sir / Madam,

          I have using VODAFONE prepaid connection ([protected]) since long. Since last few months I am witnessing that often my connection gets disrupted leading to complete blockage of outgoing/incoming calls. On contact I had been told to submit the relevant documents (photo ID proof, photocopy of SIM & photograph), which I had done at local Vodafone stores. In spite of that the problem persists which causes hindrance to my day-to-day activities & job.

          Request you to kindly arrange to look into the matter on urgent basis.

          Vodafone — Vodafone World's Worst Service Provider

          Hi ,


          It's regarding Mb no [protected]. I had given a request for VMC 399 deactivation in the month of November 24th. But I have been still charged twice from Nov 25th - Dec 24 and Dec 25 - Jan 24th. When you people say that you have already DCT that service then why I'm being charged for this.

          I had Four Thousand and odd outstanding, I asked them to give me time till Feb 1st and I'll clear that balance, but one of your Retention Manager Ahmed was not even ready to give me 2 days time. Why should I pay 800 Rs without usage. I want this to rectified immediately and waive off that charge. Or else the same email will be sent to TRAI with my bill details. Even I'll go LEGALLY against Vodafone for charging me for no reason. Your Vodafone Customer Service is too worst. They were not even ready to take VMC deactivation request.

          Also I have another number[protected], in this every month I'm being charged 15 Rs as download. There is no browsing or no Caller Tune is activated. This is not the first month i'm charged. I'm charged many times.

          I hope this will be rectified very soon. If you people cannot do this please revert me, I know what to do.

          Vodafone — worst customer service ever

          Being foreign and coming from the UK, I bought a roaming sim card from vodafone store sir P.M rd in Mumbai 6th December 2010. produced all required documents( application form ,photo id, photocopy passport, visa, reference in India , name of hotel in Mumbai) . used it 5 days before incoming calls and sms were disbled. 29 Dec went to vodafone store Agra for help : they asked me to fill a complete form again with all the same documents: the sim worked again 5 days only after that. Since then I tried to have it fixed in Kolkata, Bhubaneswar (all main vodafone stores) with no success. Worst of all : 03/02/2011 went to vodafone store in Bangalore(church street) for help , next day (04/02) my sim became totally unusable (invalid sim) with > 1200 rupies credit. Not a call or sms from vodafone. Unbelievable! this is legalized steeling! I am now back in the U.K: this was a nightmare experience!!!!

          Vodafone Executive :- Naveen (Indiranagar Branch) is very careless about his work , he is not even ready to help the customer , I am having the worst experince of my life dealing with him . I am having a vodafone number-[protected] from past five years. I have submitted him twice the proof for continuing the service which is intrupted due to thier carelessness.

          Vodafone — Services Issue

          Hi Team,

          This is with regret to inform you that again, now its proven that you people really dont care about your customers.

          Last time I had complaint about MNP from vodafone and did not got any reply from anyone and finally after 15 calls to customer I got a complaint registered.

          What happened after that was your customer care called on 12-May-2011 for retention from No.[protected]. and after discussion with the retention person I agreed on one plan.

          Below is the plan. - Complaint No. provided by Retention person[protected]
          Local calls to any - 0.30
          STD calls to any - 0.50
          200 local mins free
          200 National min free
          400 local sms free
          Rs 51/- rental 1000 local and national sms.
          Roam like home service.

          The same was promised to get activated in next 72 Hrs, today I got a confirmation msg of the new plan activation but after checking the same found that it was something different than
          promised.

          This is what your people do they dont care about your customer.

          After this when I call customer care on 15-May-2011, he confirms that no such request no. exist in the system, when asked then how the plan got activated he replied,
          Andromeda a Third party had called me whom you have outsourced and the plan which has got activated is against request no. [protected] which was never requested.

          After the customer care person spoke to you backend department he replied they too dont have any such information, I asked to take a complaint but he replied that he cant and I need to
          call Andromeda for the same.

          Now the question is if I am a customer of Vodafone why the hell I need to call a third party of Vodafone, and What the hell I am concerned with them.

          This mail is in reference to my mobile number [protected] & [protected], I am using this number from past 5 years and from day one facing the service problem, In year 2010 (Oct -10) I have my identification documents & NOC to your team at surat (adajan area) to transfer company owned CUG number to my name. It took 9 months to sort the issue. After then I was facing network failure error and call dropping problem which took 1 month to sort out.

          After that (2011) I have complained about not receiving bills on my communication address but the issue is still pending. Still I am not receiving any bills nor getting any confirmation message for bill payments.

          At last tried of your service I have given application to convert my post paid connection to prepaid in month of Mar-12. And in regards to same I have submitted all the required documents at your store in daman (Diu & Daman) to Mr. Prashant (CCE) and have paid all balanced amount but the problem was partially sorted after 20 days that to I have to call your nodal officer.           From past few days I am again facing problem of call drops on my number [protected] and my other number [protected] is suspended due to non submission of documents. I ask you I have submitted all the documents to your team in march-12 @ daman than why my number is suspended.

          While calling your customer care yesterday (15.05.12) they told it is not possible to activate your number unless your documents are received. I am very frustrating about your service and really do want to associate with vodafone anymore,.

          Is this the way you treat your customers, Is this the way you call your service a best service, Is this the way you do business.

          I request your urgent intervention and reply.

          I (Dharmendra Vasiyani) had called vodafone customer care on 111 at early morning dated 27/07/2012 for 2 times but the persons who picks both of time my call were not able to solve my problem of 3G services which I were asked to them because m not getting desire speed which I required but they people are asking to call me via another number which I didn't have although I told that I m able to do settings of my call while m online aswell but they are arguing to call from another number, earlier when I m a prepaid customer since 6 years of vodafone only at that time also m having data pack of 3G & at the time of problem of speed I used to call to customer care & they were solving my problem but now I think that vodafone has many customers thatswhy the firm is forgetting his own old customers... well sir m not happy with the services of vodafone customer care,
          So pl i[censored] can do favour to me than it will sound great to me!!!

          Many complaints against VF but they don't care to resolve.
          I am sad to see such a bad service from Vodafone . Even after giving a complaint, my problem is not resolved. I am not getting range at all, the area where i stay. Planning to change the sim now. Vodafone customer service is really bad.

            I have a vodafone prepaid connection in the name of Dimple M Jain - [protected].

            In the month of May & June there was a total bill amount of approx 26000/- rupees which vodfone people are saying it is due to internet usage.. then we were not ready to pay the bill as this much usage i have not done on internet.. Than a person from vodafone settlement department called up from the no -[protected], Gaurav desai named.
            He called up on 26 th July to convince me to do the total payment but I refused as I have not done any internet usage on this level... I asked them to provide me the internet itemized bill also they refused for that also ... Than he again called up on 27 th july to do the settlement with me.. He said that we can settle down your accounts by a payment to vodafone of amount 9400/-.. after that that your dues to vodafone will be nil. We did the payment of the that on 29th July to vodafone of rs. 9400 /-.. Yet are accounts are not Nil we are still getting calls for due payments.. I never expected this type of services from vodafone.. My no of vodafone is more than 8 years old.. now they have suspended my services and asking to do the bill payment than only they will start the services.. Vodafone is worst ... they don't have proper communication between the employees and management... I want my sim card to be started immediately. and I am not going to do any payment now..

            I dont know how to tackle this please suggest and register my complaint..

              My Vodafone no is [protected].
              I am using services of this no since last 1.5 year and to avail 2G services I always use to recharge with Rs 95 which I did on 10 Aug as well.
              For my surprise I got an sms that 3G services are activated on my no whereas I had requested for 2G services.

              I called their complaint cell 198 and a lady Savita answered the call and said that she would get this pack reverted and gave me request no 49116937 and assured me that within 1 hour I will get a call back and the issue would be resolved.

              I called back after 2 hours after getting no response and that executive said that no complaint is registered and she rudely transferred call to some IVRS.
              I again called back and requested to talk with some senior, that guy told me that no complaint is registered and he was very rude and said that he cant do anything.
              When they cant do anything then why is this customer care opened.
              I requested for a management call back and on that he said I will drop mail and refused to provide me any request no.

              I mailed the issue to their customer care id and they started fooling me as well with cheesy lines of Happy to help when they have a team full of .

              In one mail they said that 'As per our telephonic conversation' whereas they had never called me.

              Could any official of Vodafone look into the issue and got it resolved.

              Vodafone have debarred my outgoing calls on 11/12/2010 for not depositing verification documents which i have already deposited before 3 months. Customer care executive is saying that they hadn't recd. any documents.
              I again deposited same documents on 11/12/2010 and they said the outgoing services will star by 12/12/2010 before 7:pm but my service has not been activated so far instead of giving continuous calls to the Vodafone

                COMPLAINT LETTER TO VODAFONE

                Dear Sir
                This mail is regarding my Vodafone Number [protected] . I have purchased Vodafone 3g USB stick from Vodafone Store ( Karol Bagh) and paid 3 months advance rental of Rs 1950. The executive who sold me the product misguided & bluffed me by providing inaccurate information that after reaching free usage i.e. 3 GB, your connection will be automatically disconnected. As a new customer I don't have any idea that after the limit Vodafone will charge me per extra byte used till the time I have received mail from Vodafone on 27 May,2013 stating that I have exceeded the limit and pay amount ASAP.


                After receiving mail, I made couple of calls to Customer care to clarify this issue and requested to file a complaint against your Vodafone store and that executive. As I have already paid rental of 3 months to Vodafone, It is very important for me to solve this & take action against misleading information. But none of Customer care executive entertained my request & refused to register this as a Complaint.


                Only After my due date exceeded I received couple of calls from Customer care & I stated my experience to each one of them & their response was that they will look into this matter and will revert soon. But only I heard from Vodafone is Reminders for non-payment. Now Vodafone is sending me mails & notices to pay outstanding amount. Please check your system records about my request, timings and all details as you must have record.


                Vodafone is bluffing new customers by providing inaccurate information just to sell their product. Its strange to see strategies of Vodafone to sell their products & meet their store targets. Even my advance rental that I paid has been put into waste.


                So therefore I request to please check your system about my problem and all details pertaining to it & then contact me.

                  My Name is Zakir Hussain and using two Vodafone mobile connections. On my cell # [protected], I was using Rs 98/- 2G Rs. 98/- Internet plan. In the month of July I was having issues with the internet related setting and was not able to use internet properly. Approached Vodafone's helpdesk on July 14,2013 and the experience with the representative was horrible. Ref# SR[protected]. Problem was not resolved. On July 16, called again the help desk and this time representative surpassed the first one and his behaviour was non cooperative and didn't got resolution to the problem which I was facing. In anger I asked to that guy to deactivate my internet plan and he readily put the request.
                  On July 18, 2013 post coming to know that my internet plan request for de-activation is under process, I asked to rep on 198 help desk to reinitiate or re activate 2g Rs 98 plan on my cell. Same time as requested by the representative sent an request on Corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com stating that re initiate or re activate RS 98 2 G internet plan on my cell # [protected].
                  However that request was not processed and now I am getting calls to pay my inflated bill of Rs. 6476.05/- for the month of July'13 and unbilled amount of Rs 1240 for the month of Aug'13.
                  Approached Vodafone through customer care mailbox and they guys are also trying to justify the billed amount instead of getting that bill corrected and not answering that why my request sent on July 18 was not processed.
                  I am not getting support from Vodafone reps and they are not providing me any details about their seniors so that I can approach them and get that fixed.

                  I have been facing the following issues from the activation date.

                  1. Poor Coverage - this cause me a call drop & No connectivity
                  2. Call Jumping - i have received a call which showed my family member no but it is actually from a unknown user who is trying to reach some other no using vodafone connection.
                  3. Poor response & Action against Complaints - i have to make a call every time to follow up with my complaints.
                  4. Call Droping - mostly my calls will drop with in few seconds due to poor network coverage.
                  5.No Customer care Support - Customer care service is very poor and i could able to connect even though vodafone customer care
                  6. Cannot make a call easily - Always it shows me network busy. so i cannot make a call in case of emergency. i have to try more than 10 -12 times to make a call.
                  7.Poor Online Portal - i have registered for online portal in vodafone.in and i waited for more than 90 days to get the login password( actuall they gave me a message at the registration process says" You receive your password with 5- 10 mins through sms". but i did not receive until it crossed 90 days. after 90 days i received a password but it is the wrong one.

                  8.These issues really make me to loose my patient.

                  Vodafone — not getting bills properly

                  i am not getting the postpaid bills properly from vodafone. I need to reimburse the telephone bill every month but i am not getting the bills and they are charging some amount every month for sending the printed bill.

                  i was chatted with vodafone customer care executive 1 month back, he said they will send all the bills with 2 days but still ididn't get the bills properly.

But i didn't get the correct information and responce till now. They are simply telling that systems r busy due to bad network. Is it the right way to cheat the customer? U must feel some responsibility to the customer. 1 customer is equals to 100 customers.
                  U people always tells that "HAPPY TO HELP U". It'll be always be in front of your mouth and will make the innocent people as fools.
                  With this request u people must feel some responsibility and must solve my(our's) problem(s) with in few days. Other wise the mater will be very serious. And I'm not the responsible for further incidents. Pls don't blame me.

                  Vodafone Mobile Services — Problem in Services and response

                  I have taken the Vodafone No [protected]. Previously it was a prepaid No but i got it migrated to Postpaid. There was a delay in this.

                  Further to this, while my negotiation with Vodafone, I have been confirmed that i am not supposed to pay ' Clip Charges' but now in my bills they are charging clip charges. After several mails and calls, no one is responding to it.

                  I have the copies of mails where the Vodafone person confirmed me about the waiver of Clip charges and further i have mails to Vodafone to which no one is responding at all.

                  Further to this, they also stopped the outgoing services for 3 days. which create lots of problem for me.

                  Sir, I seek your intervention and support for this. It is simply a harrasment of the consumer.

                  This explanation I found to be completely illogical. It came across as made up to cover their mistake.
                  The solution that this guy then gives is to send in a request to increase the credit limit which will take effect only after 3 days.
                  This means, I have to go without making any calls for the next 3 days. Cant accept this logic.

                  In such a situation, instead of helping me out, the operator took a rude stance and banged the phone.
                  What do I do now? How do I go about with this situation?
                  The only option in front of me now, is to cancel my connection...

When i came back and found out that number has been given to somebody else named Mr T aggarwal( something like that). And I went to Vodafone store Ansal plaza Delhi. They gave me another number([protected]) and sim and cancelled the previous number. Next day I received call from vodafone officer, named Lalit saying that they have trouble activating this number( Because this number was assigned to different person before it was assigned to me in postpaid service) and he will assign me another number ([protected]). I agreed to it. Now I am waiting for sim card for this number for 2 days.
                  And customer care --they have no clue of anything. They will put you on hold and will never come back. Every person will give you different information.

                  In the bill they have included International roaming charges of 119 which is not necessary for me and which I have not requested to activate.

                  When we call either 111 or 198 it is prompting for mobile number, when we enter it is saying as invalid number though we enter correct number.So since it is a paid service (111) they are unnecessarily increasing the length of the call duration to charge the customers.

                  I had requested for billing address change for my Vodafone Post Paid connection( [protected] ) from my home address to my office address so that i would be reimbursed for my MBILL. I had submitted all the documents along with my Company NOC letter in the month of February and till date my address is not changed .
                  I am following up on this from last 3 months and believe me the rite word for the service is "SUCKS". After Visiting Vodafone stores and writing email to them now they want me to submit the documents again as they have lost it.They want me to take the pain of doing going to the store again which is again 15-20 km from my house and submit the documents again . I told them that my company will not reimburse me for more than last 3 months so at least they can compensate me for my the amount which i have paid for Jan and Feb which is 3500 or at least some discount but i was treated badly by a Store Manager Amit dhange ( Kothrud Store ) I also contacted the Service manager Johar Kamkhayani but there was no resolution to it .                   My mobile number's - [protected] bill for the month of Oct was Rs647/-. The last date to pay the bill was 21st of Nov. I paid the bill on 21st of Nov using online bank services, the amount paid was Rs 650/-. But VODAFONE is not updating the bill. I have been calling custome care, the very first time I called there the agent took my call took the transaction id and updated it incorrectly as a result the payment updation was not done and I received a number of calls from their end stating that they are not able to find the transaction id and hence need to either email the bank statement to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com or submit it to Vodafone store. It was 4th December when I received back to back 5 phone calls and they all forced me to go to Vodafone store on that day only and when I went there the store was closed. I got to know that it was vodafone's birthday and the closure of vodafone store was preplanned but still wrong information was provided to me by 5 different agents. After that I made a call to customer care and they suggested me to email the documents to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com hence I forwarded the bank statement along with the detailed transaction to them on 7th December but so far the bill is not getting updated and I am not getting any answer from their end. I have been calling customer care but they are not giving any answer moreover when I am asking to transfer my call to supervisor they are putting me on hold for 15 minutes and after that disconnecting my call. This has happened with me 10m times. I am not able to understand why my bill is not getting updated. I have done whatever I was supposed to do. They are not even telling what else is pending from my side, what is the exact reason. I feeling helpless at the moment. Agents along with the Supervisors are disconnecting their customer's call. This needs to be escalated. ITS A BIG TIME QUESTION MARK ON VODAFONE'S SERVICES. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME.

                  I am vodafone customer and using 2 connections of them. For one connection i had vodafone backup service i requested by giving SMS to cancel the service as said by customer support and received confirmation. But the service haven't canceled it was still reflecting on bill. So i emailed them to cancel the phone backup.

                  But they have barred by outgoing connection and while i checked with customer care first, i got a reply that by mistake they canceled. Then that guy was giving all ridiculous irrelevant answers.

                  Totally its a very worst support and all great blenders made by vodafone.

                  they told me that for 24Rs recharge you will get the benefit of 10p/msg which is of no use to me.
                  this is making quite clear that vodafone company is putting wrong and attractive information on its website to bluff customers and to take money from them in an illegal way. this was the first irresponsibility done by them.

                  after that i called them up to make them what is their on website they simply denied that its not so. so for this i've to mail them with the snapshot of their website from where i read it. so i got a reply that i will be contacted in 2 days but i was not. Infact i called them up to know the status of my complaint. this was their second blunder.
                  when i called them up on 6th to know about my complaint a guy picked up the phone. he said hold on till i gather the information about your complaint. you will not believe but i was kept on hold continuously for 1 hour. this was the third bad thing done to me by them within few days.

                  then i again called up to know what was that. i told them what they did to me so he promised that within 24 hours their senior authority will call me and will give me a solution for this. and till date i have not got any of their call. this was the forth one.
                  even now when i'm trying to call them they had put my number on reject list so that i may no longer contact them and this issue may not get bigger.

                  i don't how such irresponsiblities can be done by such a big company. a lot of my time and money is wasted on all this and i want a good and strict decision plus a handsome compensation for all this.

                  I am from our national carrier in a Senior Management and applied for the second Cell No: connection from Vodafone from their outlet JB Nagar Andheri East. Mumbai.
                  My corporate account with them is also of a very high volume.
                  Enter the outlet you find the peon spewing and stinking and barking at the customers. As it is there is no space for reasonable seating till their numbers are called upon.
                  The agents appear as if they are scared of their tomorrows job. Response look as if they are scared of complaints. Do your job on a timely manner under your companies mandate and you can perform smilingly and keep the customers also happy.
                  Ms Archana and Mr Ashish are one of this lot and very polite yet far from producing the desired results. Promises are made with a time frame for a mere activation of the new number and NO clue as to the delay and still promising despite 33 hours elapsed.
                  There are many other Mobile service providers in the market competing with better service edge.
                  As I am typing still no response from them about activation. Mind well this is a premium number chosen by me.
                  My THREE visits to this outlet has made my mind to withdraw all my connection from them.

                  I have seen the advertisement about the Vodafone Super weeks in which I can use Facebook/Orkut/Twitter free of cost. I have been trying to connect to it from the past 4 days but the vodafone browser doesn't work and the web page din't open.

                  SB CUSTOMER — POOR RESPONSE

                  Sir

                  I went to State Bank of India, Personal Banking Division, Brindavan road, Fairland, Salem and wanted to remit amount in my SB Account.

                  One Ms G Kavitha is in the counter and she is much interested in News Paper reading only in working hours and not attending to the customers in que for very long time. Atlast collected the amount and gave the receipt and any enquiry to her regarding banking were never replied and once again started in reading the Newspaper.

                  Why she can sit in her house and read the newspaper instead of coming to office and troubling the customer and the branch manager was in the other counter and he is also encouraging her attitude.

                  This is a competitive world and State Bank is always a State bank unless this type of employees should be thrown out.

                  Vodafone — Very Bad Service

                  Dear Sir,

                  I've visited El mainel branch to change my line to from charging card to bronze line service, but I asked the representative to send me my bill on the email, and I asked him to make sure that the bill won't be sent to my home address, but I found the bill sent to my home address so I went again to the maniel branch & asked them not to sent me the bill again , also I used to call the customer service to make sure that I won't got the bill again to my home address & it'll be only sent tio my email, and oth of them told me there is no problem, but again the next month I got it on my home address, so I used to call the customer sevice again for the third month for this issue but every one called me he used to tell me that it was so simple to do this, and finally after about 3 or 4 months from calling your customer service & going to El mainel branch I got my bill on my email, I wanna know is it so difficult to do your work well, it is just an order on the computer,

                  Then again today 21/8/2011 I went to the very proffessional guy called Moataz Fathy Mahrous in El Maniel branch cashier ID 301518, Location 433 asking him to change my bronze line to charging card service and he convinced me to changed to buissness control, and first I've to bay my bill which is EGP 210.00, and after I returned back to home I got a sms saying that my bill only EGP 158.00, so I called customer service, first the one whom answered me didn't know why I payed EGP 60.00 more than my bill saying that this information wil be shown on her system after 24 hours & this is not true, so I tried to help her by telling her is there any fees for change my service from bronze to card service, they she hold me on the phone for somehow then retured back saying that there is a fees EGP 25.00, SO SHE KNOW NOTHING AND SHE WAS TRYING TO SAY ANYTHING TO END THE CALL AS MOST OF THE CUSTMER SERVICE REPRESENTETIVE DID, then I called again to ask about your complaint department but I got surprised that the one who answered me saying that you have no complaint department and if I have problem I've to go direct to El maniel branch, I still have a problem which is paying EGP 60.00 more than my real bill and if there is EGP 25.00 fees, why he made my pay the EGP 35.00 over, and why he didn't inform me that there is a fees from changing my line, taking in your consideration that the invoice i've written in it Bill payment EGP 210.00 & there is nothing else mentioned about any other fees
                  Also I WANNA KNOW HOW A HUGE COMPANY LIKE VODAFONE DON'T HAVE A COMPLAINT DEPARTMENT
                  I'M SO SORRY TO TELL YOU THAT I'LL CLOSE MY LINE, AND SIGN UP WITH ANOTHER COMPETITOR BECAUSE YOU HAVE VERY BAD SERVICE, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THEIR WORK

                  Vodafone — to start internet service without my request

                  My mobile No is [protected] . It is a latest mobile. M/s Vodafone started my internet services on their own. I had not activated the service. When I visited their helpline call centre, they advised me to send sms on certain numbers. When I have not sent any sms for activating my internet service, why should I send sms to stop internet service. Can't they stop the internet service on their own on my oral request?

                  Moreover, for internet service, they allowed me rs 20 debit balance. I had not asked/requested for debit balance. Because of this I was not able to send sms to stop internet service. I have to recharge my balance, and then and then I can send sms.. Why this mental harrassment to the customers?

                  Kindly ask the company to stop this mental harrassment and refund the charges which they have deducted for internet services..

                  my name is vipin dadhich and presently i am working in vodafone rajasthan and purchase new house before one year my issue is that i have already paid my electricity bill completely but field guy call me and told i am cutting your connection i told him when i deposited the bill before 15 days and receipt is available and this time i am in office and thay told me ok provide original receipt and i told i will provide you receipt detail tomorrow morning and guys told me ok then why they use aggressive language my neighbour wanshika departmental store and thay also told bill deposited he is living standard is singal they will provide receipt then why your guys use this type of languages plz coordinate me and correction your services that's type of languages not tolerable for every one ..

                  Vodafone — Pathetic Service provided by Vodafone

                  When my tariff plan came for review, Vodafone moved me to 1 year advance rental plan. I requested Vodafone to move me to 3 years advance rental plan. However, no one has bothered to look into the issue. When i call customer care at 111, they ask me to go to nearest Vodafone store. When I visit their store, the staff is very rude and uncooperative. Their response is simple WE CAN"T HELP.

                  Even I have not got any response from their email id (vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com), even though they are supposed to get back in 48 hours.

                  The following mail trail sums up the issue I am facing:

                  I called your customer care on Monday March 5, 2012. The executive assured me that he has put a note that will escalate this to his seniors. He also assured that some one will get back to me within 24 hours.

                  As expected, on one called me.

                  I again called back on Wednesday March 7, 2012 and was surprised to know that there was no record of my Monday's conversation. The executive again put a note regarding this and told me that someone will call me within 48 hours.

                  It's surprising that your executives are behaving in such unprofessional manner and giving false commitments to the customers.

                  This is regarding the tariff plan issue of my number 98XXXXXXXX that has been lingering on for past few days.
                  In the Feb Bill, I was moved to one year advance rental plan and the amount was charged accordingly. However, that was done without my confirmation or talking to me.

                  On March 01, 2012, I contacted the customer care and requested to move me to 3 Year Rental Plan. The customer care executive was very uncooperative and disconnected the call midway. I again called customer service and this time, after much pleading, I was made to speak to Mr Sandeep Roy. The reference number for the same was [protected]. He assured me that he will look into the matter and it will take 48 hours to revert back.

                  Not hearing from Vodafone till March 03, 2012, I again contacted customer care and was told that the request was under process and I will be contacted by Vodafone.

                  Finally, I got a call from Vodfaone on March 04, 2012 from [protected] number. The caller told me that my request has been processed and I will be moved to 3 year advance rental plan. He also told me that the tariff in current bill would be adjusted in the subsequent bill. I was asked to visit the Vodafone store for further processing of this request, since the caller was not in position to process the same.

                  As advised, I visited the NIT (Nehru Ground) Vodafone Store. My token number was 252 (01:26:42 PM). However, the staff at the Vodafone store (Mr Rahul and Mr Karan) were rude and uncooperative. They point blank told me that they can't help me and even accept my request.

                  It’s interesting that Vodafone’s logo is HAPPY TO HELP, that every employee wears!!!!

                  It was a very frustrating experience that Vodafone Store staff and Customer care staff is behaving like a bureaucratic company and not paying heed to customer's request/problems.One executive on phone says to visit the store while store staff says nothing can be done.

                  After being a customer of Vodafone (essar and hutch) for more than 10 years, it seems that the time has come to move on to other provider. So, I have decided to discontinue this number from Vodafone. For that please do the following:
                  # Issue me Pack code for mobile number portability ASAP
                  # Since, I have switched off the number (98XXXXXXXX) from today (March 04, 2012), please provide me the final amount that needs to be paid till date. This amount should not include the 1 year advance rental since I am discontinuing this number.

                  Vodafone — Network problem after using internet through mobile

                  Dear Viodafone team,

                  It has been observed that My mobile number [protected] some times doesn't get the network (Limited service available) in my office and home, though my friend sit besides me with Vodafone conection is getting the full network, also I have observed that whenever I use the mobile internet, the network get lost. So I request you to look into this matter and resolve it ASAP.
                  Thanks for letting this me know. Have got only reply but not the solution. Haven't received any answer that why my request for re-activation of GPRS plan of Rs 98/ was not honoured as per the email sent on July 17, 2013. Bill is still not corrected. Would I supposed to pay inflated bill / higher charges just because my request was not processed in time at all and just because of the Vodafone representatives negligence. Have sent numerous emails post Aug 13, 2013 and haven't received any reply nor any solution.
                  I am also a new victim of Vodafone for fraud in billing.
                  Customer care agent told that they have deactivated my data plan for 2GB Rs98 and activated Rs100 3G plan.
                  But at billing cycle i got charged for Rs98 although i have deactivated it before the billing cycle.
                  Network was poor if you use 3G you will unable to get network and this is a BIG issue which Vodafone was unable t fix for a lot of customers.
                  Switching to Airtel hope for the best in future.
                  Vodafone 4years relationship finally break up with Vodafone.
                  Loads of complains are already raised by me for getting new SIM card but never delivered to because address was not found what amazed me hoe their bill got delivered to me.???

                    Hi,

                    My Name is Zakir Hussain and using two Vodafone mobile connections. On my cell # [protected], I was using Rs 98/- 2G Rs. 98/- Internet plan. In the month of July I was having issues with the internet related setting and was not able to use internet properly. Approached Vodafone's helpdesk on July 14,2013 and the experience with the representative was horrible. Ref# SR[protected]. Problem was not resolved. On July 16, called again the helpdesk and this time representative surpassed the first one and his behaviour was non cooperative and didn't got resolution to the problem which I was facing. In anger I asked to that guy to deactivate my internet plan and he readily put the request.

                    On July 18, 2013 post coming to know that my internet plan request for de-activation is under process, I asked to rep on 198 help desk to reinitiate or re activate 2g Rs 98 plan on my cell. Same time as requested by the representative sent an request on Corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com stating that re initiate or re activate RS 98 2 G internet plan on my cell # [protected].

                    However that request was not processed and now I am getting calls to pay my inflated bill of Rs. 6476.05/- for the month of July'13 and unbilled amount of Rs 1240 for the month of Aug'13.

                    Approached Vodafone through customer care mailbox and they guys are also trying to justify the billed amount instead of getting that bill corrected and not answering that why my request sent on July 18 was not processed.

                    I am not getting support from Vodafone reps and they are not providing me any details about their seniors so that I can approach them and get that fixed.

                      i have converted my prepaid connection into postpaid last month, and before converted, company gave me an offer on my new postpaid connection that i can register one vodafone number on unlimited free calling from my no. and i dnt have to give the charge of Rs.75/month for this offer. I confirmed this offer from vodafone mini store and than i converted my connection into postpaid. But in my monthly bill this charge of Rs.75 is added and when i approached to that same vodafone store for complaining, he is refusing that i can not help in this matter you have to contact to customer care. When i contacted to customer care they advised me to contact to the same vodafone store. So, please i want you to take some actions for such type of fraud commitments offered by the companies.

                      Vodafone Connection — Doing Fraud For The New Vodafone Connection, I Bought

                      I have bought a new brand Samsung E250 from Subhiksha Store, Patparganj, Delhi, 110092. They told me that a new connection is also free with the handset but there is activation charges of 195. I paid them and i gave them complete documents of ID and Residence Proof. The phone started working but in the next morning it was out of service.

                      When i confirmed from vodafone customer care then they told that they haven't got any documents from the vendor. Then i contacted with the same employee of Subhiksha Store and told the story then he told me that it will start working in 2 hrs. But no changes happend with the connection.

                      When again i contacted him, he told that you have to give documents again. I gave him. Phone started working. It worked properly for 2 days and suddenly it started the ivrs message to all callers that the phone is out of service and all the inbound and outbound calls being barred.

                      Now it's enough. I am about to loose around 450 rs. which really matters for me. Can somebody tell me that where i had to file the complaint against him? By the way i know the consumer court's address but i don't have enough time to spend for it.

                      Vodafone Postpaid Connection — Vodafone fraud in postpaid billing

                      I was a Vodafone customer from March'2008 till January'2009, My mob no was [protected] in Bangalore. For ease of paying the monthly bill i had been opted to authorize auto-debit from my credit card. I've cancelled my connection in the month of january'2009. But till now a montly service charge of Rs 385 is auto-debited from my credit-card. As i was working in dubai i was neither able to go and personally fight nor able to hire a complaint in customer care.
                      I have been receiving blank calls from the same number from the last 10 days.
                      And when I call back on the number, it says that the number is out of service.
                      These blank calls are a big distraction for me. I hope there was a legal body, where i could complain.

                      VODAFONE people have harrassed us like anything and have given us a legal notice that we pay Rs.1650 as the due. but for last one year i did not use the sim and phone and once i cleared the last bill, i wrote and reminded them to deactivate the sim. they did not do it. suddenly after 2-3 months when i approached them, they said the number is still active and i need to pay Rs.1650. and they wanted an email from me on this regard. even after sending serveral emails regarding the deactivation, they did not do it... and now yesterday they sent a legal notice to me... so, i paid the amount thru online transfer, and now if my phone is not disconnected and deactivated, the matter would be serious.

                      how fraudalant company vodafone is. there is some guy called ASHWIN MISHRA who has sent the legal notice and now he is not responding my calls. i dont know if my cell phone is deactivated or not. i am going to take a legal action towards VODAFONE and ASHWIN for harassing me and also cheating me and also go to the media people to expose these kind of illegal way of doing business.
                      i request all the people who face such issues and also have complaints on vodafone and customer care, lets get together and close this company asap.

                      come guys, join hands to curb such illegal activities by cell phone companies and also people like Ashiwin Mishra who is a ...kick this guy and he should not be entertained by any other company.

                      Vodafone — major frauds

                      My no. [protected]. This is prepaid no. i requested to change this no. to postpaid(before 7-8 days) and also got 1 new no. and for this 2 nos. i wanted CUG. Vodafone executives collected my documents and took rs 200. Then again some other person came for verification and took rs 65.

                      Now the problem is neither of the sim cards r working. neither the 2 new sim's are working nor my old prepaid sim.

                      when i called customer care and i insisted to talk to supervisor... the so called donkey shoukt mulla supervisor came on line. One of the worst person i can imagine to be a supervisor. i told i want this issue to be resolved immediately else i will raise complain in all social network. he is telling is there anything else i can help apart from this. He is not even bothered about Vodafone who is paying him. he is the reason i m complaining here else i would have waited for 24 hours.

                      All my sim's r not working and i shd wait till tomo evening it-seems. even then if it doesn't work i shd go to vodafone store it-seems. when i asked the status of my sim they say, nothing is updated yet. even we have no idea.

                      When i change to prepaid to postpaid my sim wil be deactivated for 24 hours itseems. nonsense this is.
                      At least when i ask the status they say nothing is updated.

                      First thing i do is change this Vodafone. Trust me i will make sure that all my friends stop using vodafone. i dont care to spend, i wil bu them or help in taking new connection. this is not the first time vodafone is irritating me. trust me. i mean it. Vodafone will loss atleast 40 to 80 customers.

                      Hire good educated people not shoukt mulla supervisior an xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx(bad words) on the earth. cheap man... really cheap. Shame on ur part Vodafone. You wont survive for a longer period in this market if this is the kind of service u provide.

                      wherever we go vodafone follows us.. not to give network but to eat our money.

                        I had given a request for change in tariff plan to Vodafone for my post paid connection. After having talked to a number of customer service executives for numerous times now, they seem to be unmoved. I have even sent written communication through mails, phone calls etc. but still my query has been unresolved. Totally unprofessional behaviour as they keep giving the next best dates whenever they are asked for definite commitments.

                        I am currently a postpaid customer with Vodafone India.
                        My mobile number is [protected]. This is in regards to an email which I was asked to send by one of the Vodafone executives to move over to one of their corporate plans.
                        My request was to get Internet benefits with my current mobile phone service.

                        The first email sent by me was on the 17th of April. I received an auto-response on the same date stating that they will contact me within 7 working days. As I did not hear anything from them until the 30/04/2010, I sent them a second email. I received another auto-response on the same date stating that they will contact me within 7 working days however; I am still waiting for their response.

                        I am not upset with the fact that they might not have an offer as per my requirements however; what I am upset with is their lack of competency in responding to customers.

                        Dear Sirs

                        We would like to register complaint against M/s Vodafone Essar Company,
                        Below mail is self explanatory.

                        Case History :

                        First of all, I would like to register our (All Customers) thanks to TRAI for giving much valuable facility of Porting.

                        We are Non Destructive Service provider in India & having 43 Corporate Close User Group Connection with AIRTEL, As per the Porting rights given by TRAI we have chosen VODAFONE for porting.
                        We have contacted Vodafone customer care & refer by Vodafone Mr. Raza from Andromeda contacted for porting & he sent Mr. Arif ([protected]) to collect required documents and Unique Porting Code for all 43 connections. We have completed all the required formalities twice with Vodafone / Andromeda. Every day they had requested new formalities / documents that also done from our side.
                        Vodafone rejected twice our Porting request showing / giving a lot of excuses (TRAI is not permitting, your Airtel bill is not paid, Airtel is not allowing etc…)

                        Then our company decided that, let forget to port and continue with Airtel.

                        BUT
                        1) Before two day, suddenly our 2 Nos ([protected] & [protected]) out of 43 is ported / shifted to Vodafone without informing us, after long follow-up with Andromeda we received 2 Vodafone SIM that is also not working shows “SIM Registration Failed”.

                        2) We have contacted Vodafone Customer Care (after 1/5 hrs waiting) for getting the information about SIM Registration Failed, we come to know that documents not provided by us. I was stunned how this possible???? Where we have given all required documents to Andromeda person Mr. Arif and now they are saying documents not submitted to Vodafone ? when we have asked for to provide Complaint number ---- they simply cut my calls 5-6 times & NOT PROVIDED COMPLAINT NUMBER.

                        Issue are / Complaint are :
                        1) Why Vodafone / Andromeda not given complete requited documents in one time ?
                        2) Two times we have provided UPC for all 43 numbers & then also they failed.
                        3) Andromeda is not responding for any customer’s queries, not replying the mails, not responding our calls. We are continuously calling but no response; no response to email also.
                        4) They have not given any excuses, why they have not ported in Vodafone, No feedback.
                        5) Without informing us, without feedback Vodafone ported our Director’s Two Numbers, which is costing us more. Director is missing most importing our clients call, International calls, and Business calls and Vodafone & Andromeda is not bothering to response.
                        6) That two Vodafone Sim also not working due to documents, Vodafone is not responding without documents[protected]where we have submitted all required documents to Andromeda person and Andromeda is not responding; how this has happed.
                        7) Still today both are not in cooperation mode.
                        8) Why they have changed our two sim without information ?
                        9) Why they have not ported our balance 41 numbers ?
                        10) How to deal with Vodafone where they are also depending on Andromeda and Andromeda is worst service provider.
                        11) I was / is facing a lot problem after choosing Vodafone for porting.
                        12) How to deal with Vodafone ?
                        13) How to sort it out this Issue?
                        14) Who will guide, assets ?

                          My Name is Zakir Hussain and using two Vodafone mobile connections. On my cell # [protected], I was using Rs 98/- 2G Rs. 98/- Internet plan. In the month of July I was having issues with the internet related setting and was not able to use internet properly. Approached Vodafone's helpdesk on July 14,2013 and the experience with the representative was horrible. Ref# SR[protected]. Problem was not resolved. On July 16, called again the helpdesk and this time representative surpassed the first one and his behaviour was non cooperative and didn't got resolution to the problem which I was facing. In anger I asked to that guy to deactivate my internet plan and he readily put the request.

                          On July 18, 2013 post coming to know that my internet plan request for de-activation is under process, I asked to rep on 198 help desk to reinitiate or re activate 2g Rs 98 plan on my cell. Same time as requested by the representative sent an request on Corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com stating that re initiate or re activate RS 98 2 G internet plan on my cell # [protected].

                          However that request was not processed and now I am getting calls to pay my inflated bill of Rs. 6476.05/- for the month of July'13 and unbilled amount of Rs 1240 for the month of Aug'13.

                          Approached Vodafone through customer care mailbox and they guys are also trying to justify the billed amount instead of getting that bill corrected and not answering that why my request sent on July 18 was not processed.

                          I am not getting support from Vodafone reps and they are not providing me any details about their seniors so that I can approach them and get that fixed.

                          I am a Hyderabad based postpaid customer of Vodaone having nos. [protected] & [protected] . I have 2 add on nos. and my problem is that by both the connections I am unable to make call to phone nos. having a particular STD Code ( 0548 ). I have made several calls to Vodafone people and since last Feb I am following with them to resolve my this problem however everytime the customer service executives tell me that they will forward my request to the concerned dept. and apart that they could do nothing else.
                          After I make a complaint Vodafone people send me messages within 10 days time that your problem has been resolved however nothing has been resolved yet. Only once it started working but that also for an hours time only.
                          My problem is that this is my hometown no. and I am unable to speak to my old parents who are staying alone there.
                          If Vodafone people are reading this complaint I request them to resolve this problem at their earliest else I will take some legal action against them.

                          Vodafone India — Incorrect Information and Poor Assistance!

                          I am a Vodafone customer for past 5 year and I had visited a Vodafone store (Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore) on 7/5/2011 and i enquired about a particular internet tariff (provided by Airtel Rs 99 for 2GB) for my Iphone. The person said Vodafone don't have similar kind of tariff offered by airtel and he would inform if similar kind of tariff is launched. Currently i am with a plan where i get 100MB of data for Rs.199 a month which is very very high compared to airtel.

                          All set and i am back from the store, but recently i heard from a friend that, there is a similar kind of plan (airtel tariff) which was launched in Vodafone even before i requested for this plan and he never entertained me to change the plan. (even though he had it as it was earning more income to the company).

                          I can only say this is the money motive and Ultimately i am under loss.

                          And when i call up customer care, they also doesn't respond to my quires properly, ultimately the Vodafone service is pathetic.

                          Vodafone — poor service of vodafone

                          Dear Sir,

                          I am the loyal customer of Vodafone pre-paid service (mob.no. [protected]) for the last 7 years... I am also using roaming travel plan for last 4 years. but first time I m having problem that I have recharged of Rs.38 (Roaming Travel plan on my phone) on 19th Feb 2012 at 8:24 pm, in which I get the service of Rs.0.70 per min calls during roaming and Rs.0.50 per min calls to Vodafone customers and Rs.0.60 per min calls to non-vodafone customers. I received the confirmation message of recharge on my phone and receipt vochour. But, till today on 24th Feb.2012, I could not get the same service... i.e., this time I am getting the updated service of Rs.0.012 per sec to mobile calls and Rs.0.015 per sec to baseline calls.... I have tried to talk on vodafone customer service on 111 as well as 198, but till now, they could not help me to get the solution and update my phone's service.... the customer care executives could get the solution of the above problem till now .....

                            Hi,

                            I took a new connection of vodadone from a local shop on 1st August 2013, Thursday.
                            I submitted all required documents which was required.Verification call was also done on 7th August 2013.

                            Till now the number is not in network and deactivated. This problem is from the verification and customer care department who are not able to provide me update yet since 10 days.

                            I just want to lodge complaint against all person who are involved in making new connection active. My number is not yet registered without any reason. I have submitted all documents which was needed and can give all which ever is required for any type of proof all over india.

                            This is really harrasment done to me when I needed this number in priority but due to their inresponsive behavior I am still without the facility.

                            I would like to remind you that I am already holding 2 postpaid numbers from Vodafone Pune since 1 and a half year but still taking prepaid connection is a pain for customers. I will surely mention this to my 150000 employees company where I am working and ask them not take Vodafone connection ever if you need due to this harrasment.

                            My new connection which I have taken and not yet registered in network is [protected].

                            Please see that severe action is taken against the concern department for giving me false commitments and not giving actual service. I have wasted lot money in calling the useless vodafone employees who are good for nothing.

                            I had purchased new connection sim card bearing No.[protected] from a retailer "Your Choice", L.M.C.Sarani, P.O. Baksara-711 110, Dist. Howrah, West Bengal (Shop Owner mobile # [protected], Salesman mobile # [protected]) on[protected] giving the required documents. I have returned the said sim card as the same could not be activated till half an hour back. On contacting customer care for several times since 23rd. I came to know that the sim couldn't be activated as the required documents didn't reach you. Not even the sms, normally sent by the seller, as soon as they hand over the sim to the customer. As per the retail shop owner all the new connections are activated through their distributor M/s.Udyog, Nimtala, Duliya, Jalardhar, Andul Road, Howrah - 711302, Mr. Manoj Das, Business Manager, Mobile No.[protected], e-mail:[protected]@hotmail.com. While chasing up with the retailer for number of times by personal visit, I have observed, from the telephonic conversasion between the retailer and the said distributor, that the said distributor was very much reluctant to entertain their customers and was giving repeated fals commitment in a very harh manner.

                            Its for your information I have been using Airtel connection since last more than 10 years and I am extreamly happy with their service. Due to my personal reason I have purchased a new hand set and wanted to have the experience of Vodafone who claims better service. But unfortunately I have observed that your service is very much unfrofessional and not customer friendly may be because of incompetant distributors, appointed by you through whome you are supposed to reach the public.                             Applied for the postpaid connection on 2ndJuly 2009 against the payment of Rs. 350/- and submitting all the required documents. They issued mobile no. [protected]. The verification was done on 3rd July 2009. They asked for additional address proof, guarantee of future payment by my father and additional payment of Rs. 300/- (refundable)( don’t know for wot). This all requirement formalities was done on 7th July 2009. Vodafone guarantee to activate the connection by same day ( 7th) by 2100 hrs. But till date (10th July 2009), no activation was done. Customer Care not providing any info and action. If this is the services of Vadofone, then I wish to cancel the application and demand the full payment of Rs. 650/-

Your area manager as well as form collectyion department all have no clue as how the verification was done if number was incorrect. Even after confirmed verification from local reference given, my number was not activated and reason for this in your department was that they have not yet received the documents. But as per area manager's call, document was received but number is invalid. But all are lying as they know they have done some mistake which they are not able to rectify. So this complaint against the department who is jhandling such cases and take strict against such employees.

                            Rest is all yours do not have to instruct me what shall I do as I am using cell phones since year 1998 and knows every ifs and buts of verification. Though process gets changed as per instructions from govt. and time to time so I understand what is giving information to customers and what is fooling a customer.

                            Thanks for all your effort in replying to my grievience but please perform analysis as why I have raised this complaint and I am not a novice that will not understand what is the process and what is the mistake in process done by vodafone employees.

                              I am vodafone user my number is [protected] since last 4 yaers and want to complain for the deduction of my balance i.e of Rs 50.Whenever i got a recharge from last 2years they deduct some sort of balance and tell you have used the internet or this VAS services are activated.
                              But On 10aug,2013, till 4.30am my balance was Rs58.084 and when again woked up at 6.30am i called one number after ending call i checked balance was Rs18.084.Earlier they have deducted Rs10 saying for Credit they had deducted but i havn't used that service.
                              Everytime they do like this when my problem is solved.and i can port my number to any service provider but i want to show what are they doing?

                              i shreyans punmiya (cell no.[protected]),got sms from vodafone on 15-1-11 for activation for caller tune at 9.30p.m, on 9.31 p.m i called customer care they told nothing is being activated and no dedution will be made. however, i sent sms to deactivate caller tune.at,9.45p.m rs,129/- were deducted from my balance.again i called at helpline,they said you go the gallery. next day 16-1-11 at 10 a.m i went at borivali west gallery, i was told that we had taken your complaint and rs.100/- will be credited in your a/c within 48 hrs.my token no.was 5 it was not credited till saturday,so on23-1-11 sunday again i went to the gallery and met the same person who said for the credit.now he checked his system and told me your a/c will be credited within 12 hrs.till today no credit has been given, after visiting the gallery thrice. i dont understand why we customer of prepaid are treated like this. rs129/- do not make much difference for vodafone but it do make for small consumers. hope this do not go unnoticed by the officials of vodafone and do pls credit my a/c.for irrelevant deduction made by them.

                              i venkatesh.r from bangalore is using your network from past 3 months and my number is [[protected]].from day efore yestarday i am facing the problem from customer care and the problem is that i got my account recharged on 14/02/2011 for rs100/ from mysore around 7.30pm and afterwars around 9.30 i got my internet package activated by getting recharged rs16/ to my account on the same date mentioned above and i am using the internet facility from my mobile from past 3 months and i have not faced any problem.but unfortunetly on 14/02/2011 night around 11.00p.m my balance went upto [-241.20rs] and when i called your customer care they didnt reply me properly after calling for 3 times at last i asked them to connect to there higher authority and they connected to him he said that after getting the recharge done i have to wait for 4 hours to get my inernet package activated and when i said him that i am using from past 3 months and when i used to get recharged for internet facility it would get activated and i would use the facility within 15 minutes so he said me that the rules and regulations have changed from this week and when i said that you the customer person are the right persons to see that the new rules and regulations have to informed to the customer he said that its the duty of customer to call the customer care and to ask the change of rules and regulations its not the proper way he spoke to me and at last he took my complaint and gave me the compalint number[[protected]] and asked me to stay calm for 24hrs and he said that my balance will be remmited {till now there is no remitting or any call from customer care and they have blocked me from calling the customer care}.so ikindly request you to do the needfull at the earliest and to get my account remitted back and to see to it that customer care persons talk to the customers in a propper manner.

                                I got my vodafone datacard couple of months ago, but till now I didn't able to access my datacard, last month when I went to Vodafone Service Center A.S. Rao Nagar, they checked and waived my previous months bills, but again they generated for this months bill and call me to pay for that bill, just I want to know without resolving my problem how they can ask me to pay that bill, and one more highlight part is unnecessary one of the stupid fellow call me to says that we are calling from Delhi Police Department, stating that Vodafone company has been file a case against you.

                                1. Before Due date vodafone people called and told that they come and collect the payment - it is very funny they called me for nearly 7 days and never turned back. Each day atleast 5 people will be calling. I noted the girl name in service point is RENUKA but no use. FAKE PROMISES AND BAD SERVICE

                                2. They even called my References (friends) and complaint about non payment of Bill. I was very disappointed the way they are working.

                                3. After paying the bill I called the service centre and left the message with ARAVINDH he promised me bla, bla...... AGAIN FAKE PROMISES.

                                4. Again I called Service centre one girl picked and I explained the whole problem. This time the Girl never gave her name......

                                5. I am a businessman and it is very HORRIBLE TO BE WITHOUT PHONE FOR 4 DAYS EVEN AFTER PAYING THE BILL.

I as a customer have suffered a lot for it.Now the next story begins.. i should say it a story because it is some waht like that...
                                My sim is deactivated all outgoing and incoming calls have been deactivated.Now when i m calling a customer care first person with whoom i was talking he said that ur documents are pending u submit it in vaodafone gallery.Why should i? When i have already submitted it was my question to him and i said him to transfer my call to the senior person he disconnected my call.Second time when i called that peson says ur validity of card expires.How can a validity of Lifetime expire was my question to him??? Than i have talked to the supervisor and he says we dont have a record right now u better call tomorrow morning after 10.00 am we will receive the details from vaodafone gallery.Even i am a software developer i work from morning 9.00 till 8.00 so how can i keep calling u always or go in vodafone gallery.I dont have time to run behind u people and vodafone is such a big set up than how dont this people get the details at night why do the customer need to keep calling u at 10.00 and all?????

                                Vodafone — Worst Services

                                One of the worst call centers to connect there is a systems which keeps on giving you all useless information for a minute or more then it goes on letting know all types of service and after three minutes it connects to the call center. More over the service they provide is pathetic. I have been facing problems with messaging which i use to chat with my freinds and the messages get stuck and get delivered in midnight. When i raised the complaint i got a response of resolving it in first 24 hour, then 48 hours and now a 10 days they need to resolve it. The problem is i dont want to change this number because this is with about 500 people in my contact list?

                                Is there any rating below poor or worst?

                                Can any one let me know how to file a case in consmer court and can the court help me resloving this problem.

                                I completely agree with Mundeep. I have had similar experience with both the vodafone call centre guys and the Vodafone store executives. In spite of providing the concerned details for more than 3 times now, they have not resolved my issue yet.

                                I had lodged a complaint with the Vodafone store executives regarding discrepency in the billing charges.I had submitted the required bills as well and then they had provided me a complaint number saying that they would send the bills to the backend and the issue would be resolved soon.

                                Its been more than '10 months' since I had lodged the complaint and yet they have not shown any progress whatsoever on the issue inspite of the fact that I had done the above mentioned procedure twice.

                                The Vodafone store executive told me that they lost the photocopies when the first time I submitted them, and this I learnt when I followed up on the issue. They did not even care to let me know about the loss. And now when I have submitted them the bills for the second time, the call centre guy tells me that the back end guys did not received any bills from the vodaphone store. ' THIS IS REALLY DAMN PATHETIC ON VODAFONE'S PART'

                                I think Vodafone, a telecom major, is really not up to mark when it comes to customer service.

                                Worst Service — Worst Service

                                One of the Mutual Fund Company had send a cover in my Residence Address Thane. The Courier Person came on the Day One House was closed. He even didn't put any message regarding courier has come. Second day he came he gave the mobile number to my Watchman. Then I called him he replied that I had just drop in the House. I gave a call to His Team Leader Mr. Rajesh From Thane Office, he doesn't even know how to talk with the customer he gave a very funny answer that we receive 3000 covers in a day so we cannot handle all of them. Manpower is also very less i will not remember what had happend. Then I explianed him everything that the house is closed the couerier person had done my signature and the cover was somewere else. He told when the courier person will return in the evening I will call you and clear the case. 5 days passed Mr. Rajesh forget everything he then framed a very nice story that the courier person came to my new address he gave the cover to you. I havd even called customer care they informed my Monday somebody will call you accordingly. 7 Days have passed nobody is interested to look into the matter. I am really suprised all banks sends credit card through such third class courier company. Ttheir Team leaders doesn't even know how to talk with customers. Can somebody from the Higher authority please look into the matter and please call me for the same.

                                It was fine till a couple of months then i started to get bad service.First one was for activating some msging plan which normally takes 48hrs but vodafone almost took 10 days and nothing happened.I called several times but they just went on promising me that it will get rectifies then at last i told them to cancel my request which is not processed.But after putting request for cancellation they activated that plan which is against my will and they also charged me for that ant they never informrd me that the service is activated.I came to know after i recieved my bills,which is really reaaly not good.
                                Then nothing happened i called them they did not response to me properly even i left the issue.I had also requested to activate my no is NDNC before 3 months but still i'm gettin all types of marketing msges.I tried to call several time,they took many complains also and promised me everytime that it be fixed within some given time but till now i did not get any response,nothing happening still i'm facing the same problem with vodafone.When i try to call and ask them whats the reason they give me some stories and sometimes they tell its activated and sometimes they also tell that is it not activated.
                                I am experiencing the worst service with vodafone.Always there is some problem with the service.Still the issue is not solved.

Further, you had activated Rs.24/- 2G pack with 500 MB 2G data benefit. Hence, 3G handset offer has been deactivated from the number and we are unable to apply the same once again.

                                    I have postpaid corporate connection of vodafone no. [protected]. Their representative gave me a plan which showed roaming incoming and outgoing charges to b 60p and 80p respectively, whereas they charged me 1re and 1:50 rs. for the same. They are not ready to revert me the money back, rather they are saying we have the same charges in our plan. i have already called and mailed them the scanned plan provided by their representative, but they are not ready to listen, and again in thsi month bill they have charged me the same. I have proofs of bills as well as the copy of the plan provided by their representative. Please take action ASAP.

                                      I mailed to vodafone cus care to activate Internett pack in my mobile, on 5th but I received response only on 7th saying that only on 10th it would be activated. and I called them and asked why it is taking this much long. And they replied me that this is the procedure, I don't understand why it takes this much long then pre-paid plan is better than this it gets activated immediately after recharge. Will this procedure take 5 days to activate? And when I spoke to the cus care what ever quest I asked him, he had a standard answer, No madam its not possible. Should customers wait for a week almost to for every plan to get activated, then why should I go with Vodafone pre paid, Is the procedure really like this????

                                      I had taken this postpaid connection no.[protected].

                                      First they gave me a prepaid connection on that and said that the postpaid will get activated after verification. I categorically told them that i will be out at work between 9-6 from monday to saturday.
                                      They came for verification when i was in office and it got declined. They came for reverification again on sunday the 23rd of february at 5 pm. Verification got done and they sill have not activated the post paid, even after my visit to thei CP office and the constant assurances given by Ms.Nishtha.
                                      My prepaid validity is also expiring tomorrow and since i have given this number to all my ofice people i do not know what to do.

                                      is it a right thing that without informing a customer the company has changed the plan? if not what is the action u r going to initiate against the company and how to square up the mental and meterial loss incurred to me.

                                      Vodafone — Non Activation of Postpaid Plan

                                      I have a Prepaid plan of vodafone, which started showing SIM card failure about two months back. Regarding this I visited the Customer Care Centre of vodafone located at Nirman Vihar. There the Executive Ms. Harleen attended to my problem, and later offered a more attractive Postpaid plan. After hearing the deatails I agreed to switch over to Postpaid plan from the existing Prepaid plan ( Ph No.[protected], Form no.7575084). I paid Rs 500 for the same, as she explained to me Rs 250 as Security deposit and remaining Rs. 250 to be adjusted against my fourth bill onwards.

                                      I received the Verification call, the person enquired about the payment of Rs 500, but quickly added that " aapko galat batlaya hai, there is nothing like adjusting of Rs 250 against the fourth bill onwards". Then she told me "Madam, I will arrange a call back for the clarification on this matter".

                                      It has been more than 6 weeks now that I have not received any call, and despite paying that Rs 500 I am still continuing with my Prepaid plan. When I contacted my local Vodafone dealer to know the status, the status was shown as INVALID, and I was told to go back to the same Centre at Nirman Vihar from where my request was initiated.
                                      I am a professional with my own serious time constraints, and now I am required to go round and round to pursue the matter or just forget about the money I paid for the purpose.
                                      I wonder how vulnerable we are to walk in such traps of service providers like Vodafone, who cheat people in and out and still remain untouched for their unethical business practices. This happens only in India where such big companies are openly sucking the people in the name of business !
