i bought my number [protected] as a postpaid connection from a vodafone store.i wanted to change my number to prepaid.so i asked the person in the store. they asked me to wait for 3 months.at first they said me my number is in 174 plan.but really it was in 225 plan.i did not know that.they are not responding to us.and at the 4th month i asked them to change my plan to 25rs. and they informed me that they have changed the plan.but the bill amount i got was 310 rs.. when i asked them they said me sorry your plan was not changed.it was for another number.they are not allowing me to change to prepaid.after a long request they accepted to change my number to prepaid.so i paid the existing bill amount last Friday. 21/06/2013.they gave me a prepaid sim card.when i asked when will my number be changed to prepaid the store person did not respond me.after i asked three times.after that they replied me the outgoing will be barred on monday 24/06/2013.but still the outgoing is not barred and i received a message that my outstanding bill is 207 and it has been mailed to you.it's very irritating act.after seeing the message i called to the store person.but she cut the call.when i messaged her she said that she is the bus.the time when she replied me was 9.08 AM. i don't know when they will go to work.it's a very irresponsible act from them.the speak only to new customers.they do not respect the existing customers.

Vodafone — change of prepaid to post paid

I am having two vodafone cell numbers.
1. A prepaid one...[protected] .. which I subscribe from BPL via Hutch and now vodafone
2. A post paid one...[protected].. which I subscribe for the last 5-6 months.

Now I want to change my prepaid one to a post paid one ..

For the post paid number, just now I have completed all the formalities of verification, etc. (applying leave to my office).

Presently the dealer asks for one more verification for the change request. I told them that just now I have fulfilled all your formalities of verification, etc. and also that I am using the prepaid number for years together..also when I got this number, I have filed all the records as called for and which is available in the data book of vodafone and requested to waive the formalities. I was surprised to hear an authoritative answer, directing me either to comply with their instructions or suffer.

what went wrong with the customer care?
Am I not entitled for conversion without applying one more day leave for verification, etc.

    I converted my loop prepaid number to vodafone postpaid through MNP 3 months back. Since then they have barred my outgoing services (calls, sms, net) for the 5th time as I have exceeded my credit limit (on the unbilled amount) which is just 900 Rs. In spite of several requests and complaints and paying the bills on time they are not increasing my credit limit. Many customers face this problem because of the bad company policy about placing the credit limit on unbilled amount. Should I file a case now or is this going to stop somewhere?

    It's absolute displeasure to have your product and services you provide.



    I would like to inform you that i made the payment due to me on January 10, 2009 at your Mumbai Office(Lower Parel Office), which was Rs 4516 and even paid outstanding amount which was 3500, a total payment of Rs 8016( Vodafone Reciept no.1214, dated Jan 10).



    Even after this payment my services was barred 4 times in last one week. Every time when i contacted Customer care i got different reply. I was put on hold for more than 20 minutes 2 times.

    Although the services got activated 3 times but every second day i met with the same fate.i.e barring of the services.

    I cann't tell you how much problem i have faced because of this as i am into sales and most of the times roaming.

    I cann't say what action you should take but this definately deserves action.

    Vodafone — Barring of services

    I was on roaming with my connection no [protected] on 7th of april and my bill due date is 26 of every month.Inspite of that vodafone have barred my services on 8th of april and till the time I was on roaming dt 22 april they were barred. Due to which my company not only suffered aloss of Rs 3lacs but my job was also in problem and my customer lost their trust in me.. Now they have barred my connection and everyday caaling my collouges and seniors which is again a bad act from their side. Kindly suggest me a plan of action towards them.

    Vodafone — Outgoing is barred

    I own a vodafone post paid connection from Mar 08, Now I'm not satisfied with the service rendered by Vodafone. I paid my bill regularly for the past few months, I draw a cheque for my billing amount for last month April 09, the cheque has been rejected because of the reason Sign Mismatch. But till now i didnt get any proof from Vodafone ned and from my bank. And these Vodafone customer care employees started to bar my number without any prior notification. I dont think so... Is this the way to handle the customer?. They would have provided me the clear calrification for my rejection of Cheque. This is really unethical.
    Kindly provide me ideas to take a leagal action towards Vodafone. I hope they do not value the customers.

    Vodafone — about barring of my number

    sir/mam I am using vodaphone postpaid net connection since last one year and i have paid my all bills on time , I haven’t delayed for even for one day but now the have barred my connection at 20/04/2010 and saying that i have some miscarriage charges left but in the bill there is no chargers are pending from my side and when i say for that the say that pay remaining charges . from this incidence my business have gone in loss of rupees 2,00,000/-. Now nobody is showing interest in my case so please help me.

    Vodafone — Barring services to my number

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    I have a prepaid number [protected], I had received sms from Vodafone that I should submit my photo id proof to avail of 50 min Vodafone to Vodafone free by 11th Oct. I could not submit the same and Vodafone has barred all services to my phone telling that according to TRAI rules they have done it.I was not informed before my services were truncated.Please look into the matter and do the needful.

      Respected Sir,
      I am having a Vodafone mobile connection with phone number [protected] for the last 7 months. I have activated their special package for cutting down the call rates(99 Rs for 10ps/sec)for one month with effect from 4th June 2013. They activated the pack and it gets disconnected after 15 days(19th June 2013). I have made queries with their customer care about 10-15 time each time they are saying we are solving issue within 2 days or within 12'O Clock or in the evening and nothing is happening. Hope that with these complaint I can solve the issue. An early action is expected.

        SIR,
        myself SUHANA DATTA, took one sim in february this year from vodafone post paid. Till 24 th april my bill was Rs.-241.But in the 24 th may my bill became Rs 1600/-, stating that , I have used internet. Though in reality i have never done so. Therefore I want immediate disconnection of my sim no- [protected]. I have written to vodafonecare, corporatecare and wecare regarding this. And i want my bill clarification regarding such huge bill, so that i can understand this bill.

        It will be kind enough if you please do the needful as early as possible.

        We have validated the invoice dated May 6, 2013. GPRS browsing and downloading any application is only possible when handset software configuration, GPRS connectivity & respective applications are all in line. Only on successful data transfer and download you with get billed. In the absence of data pack you are billed as per 2G pay rates of 10ps/10kb. From the itemized portion it is evident that you are having active and passive usage. We found no error in billing. We are arranging to send the Itemised Bill for May 6, 2013, free of charges to your registered billing address by July 5, 2013, for further clarification.

        thank you for your bill clarification. it was just marvellous. what ever i have paid the money on 29 th june.

        but the fact is i have received a bill again on 12 th september for the month of august to september.
        i requested you to disconnect my no in e mail on 25 th may and on 24 th june . I paid all my due on 29 th june. After 2 months again you are sending me the bill???? what is this? Is this a joke?
        you cancel the bill immediately..and send me apology. I have been harassed enough.

          Hi,
          I'm from Mumbai. My number is [protected]. I have a blackberry phone on which I have activated the basic internet plan of Rs 299. As per this plan, I get unlimited bbm, yahoo chat, gmail chat, emails. This plan however does not have any internet browsing. Some weeks back, Vodafone had a change of its scheme whereby even the unlimited internet browsing was added to this basic plan of Rs 299.
          When I saw my latest bill, I was horrified to see a bill of Rs 3500 as against my normal bill of Rs 700-1000. On asked I was being told that I had used internet Vodafone live instead of the normal browser and that whenever I use internet on my blackberry phone, there is an option which asks whether I want to use the Vodafone live browser or the normal browser. Such a thing however does not exist in any browser.
          I made a complaint to the customer care guys at Vodafone, who as usual were clueless as to what's going on and kept coming up with flimsy excuses. Upon sending them a written complaint via email, after few days I got a mail saying that the charges were logical! I was even told that I had downloaded videos because of which the bill amount went up high. This is utterly rubbish as I had not downloaded any videos whatsoever. No other explanation was offered. The mail even said that the vodafone guys had tried to call me but my voice was inaudible. This is false and misleading especially since I did not get any calls from any Vodafone numbers.
          I'm clearly disgusted at the pathetic level of service provided by Vodafone, much less the resolution to our complaints. No one tried to call me and offer any explanation. What makes me all the more upset is the fact I'm not the only one who is getting such inflated bills. Apparently lot of others are getting the same excess amount under the name of the "299" plan!!!
          At a time when telecom service providers are fighting over each other to retain customers, I find it difficult to believe that Vodafone is resorting to such unfair practices to let go of its customers. If the concerned authorities do not address this issue, I will be forced to end my 10 year relationship with the company and will even urge others to do the same.

          Thank you for speaking with us. As conveyed, we have reversed charges+service tax for the month of June and an amount of Rs.500 for July from June 11, 2013 to June 27, 2013. Please be informed that the internet services will be charged @10p10kb, you may use Whatsapp on WiFi, but the application will remain active if your Blackberry services are active and you will be charged for the same. Therefore, either you have to delete the service to avoid extra charges or you may upgrade your account with Blackberry599. Kindly note that the data is a default service and the same cannot be deactivated.

            My nine year old number [protected] given to Mrs. Manjari Maheshwari , resident of gopalpura by pass, without my permission or any written application. I was out of India from 14th jun. to 20th june and this no. given to Mrs. maheshwari on 15th june.
            The amount i recharged on my no. before going to abroad was 1500, as vodafone store executive Ms. Khushboo and store manager Ms. Tanushree suggested.
            Even after recharge my number was not in working position in singapore for seven days and i lost contact with my all relatives for that time.
            I have to purchase new number in singapore that cost me in dollors.
            From last three days i am suffered mental harrasment as it effects my work , bussiness relations and my nine year old contacts.

              They have imposed Rs.641/- towards net using charges of 64 mb data mistakenly. When I request them to adjust the amount in monthly internet plan but they totally denied.

              But actually they are charging Rs.99/- per month for 1 GB data.

                I am Sujatro Ghosh, a customer of Vodafone for almost last 5 years. I didn't knew Vodafone can do such fraud things lets not say Vodafone anybody can do such fraud things!

                Context - I received a call on my number [protected] on 24th/27th/28th may ( I dont remember the date properly) from the Vodafone Marketing team. They approached me for a 75 INR pack for vodafone to vodafone calling but I refused to it. Then they kept my line on hold & then after retrieving it they approached me the same pack with a sum of 38 INR, which I accepted! Soon within a minute I got a confirmation messege on my mobile ( Message Screen Shot attached in this mail).After I got the confirmation I started making calls extreme amount of calls to vodafone numbers. As soon as my bill arrived I was amazed , No pack of 38 was activated & every call was charged at 20paisa /Minute.

                After this problem I made several calls to Customer Care service & was promised for several call backs in which out of 5 I got 1 call only but it was of no use. I got no replies & I am simply pissed of with the thing!

                This is not the first time bill dispute! 3rd time in three months it is!

                I want this pack at 38 INR at any costs or I feel its against the consumer rights! I am going to go to the consumer court else & if I don't get a revert back within & solve within my bill closing date 24th I wont also pay anything extra either or extra fees!

                  I am a prepaid customer (Mobile No - [protected]) of Vodafone. I have subscribed to 3G Internet - 300MB on[protected] by Etopup.

                  I am suffering from the following issues
                  1. That even after recharging my SIM with 3G pack my sim is not showing 3G network.
                  2.That have complained many times on 198, 111 & [protected], but none of the customer care executive is able to register my complaint.
                  3. That Customer Care Executives are cutting my Call after listening to my problem.
                  4. That I have called 4 times on[protected] to Vodafone Care, All customer care executives are have different opinion about my problems. Some of them are say that 3G Services are not activated on my phone, Some are cutting my calls, Some are saying send "ACT 3G" to 144, Some are configuring my internet settings which are already configured, Some are saying saying that 3G services are activated on my phone. This simply shows that CCEs are making fun of customers and are harassing them.
                  5. That I have also suffered from the same problem last month also and also complaint to Nodal Officer last month.
                  6. That even after paying for 3G services i have not been provided 3G services. This is prime facie evident from the above that this is a case of Fraud & Mental Harassment by Vodafone India and i am entitled to refund of amount paid for the period for which i have not given 3G services.

                  Keeping in view the aforesaid problems, i request you to register my complaint and resolve as soon as possible.

                  Already I submitted my proofs for vodafone prepaid subscription.
                  But my connection has been disconnected today. As I have submitted already, why they are doing like this. I am missing important calls.

                  So now Reliance as well as Tata DoCoMo have launched their 3G plans.And BSNL and MTNL already had their 3G plans running since May. Do you think that India is ready for the 3G revolution? Which smart phones available in the Indian Market are 3G compatible?

                    I had booked the Traveltime cab from Wagholi to Pune station and return journey too on the same day. they provided me only the one way journey service and making a non sense accusing while return journey after having a long arguments with customer service centre. I had waited for 3 hours for cab to return journey but it didn't come. This is not the first time accident happened with me and they are totally careless about passengers and not understand the value of time. wasted time, financial losses, ruin my day, disappointed disappointed disappointed

                      I would like to bring to your notice that my Vodafone connection with number +91-[protected] which I have been using since past 5 years, presently i am staying in Bangalore. This is my Andhra Pradesh Vodafone number. For my number they are deducting 1 rupee daily unnecessarily past 2/3 months every ime I am not observing the my balance. I am not calling from this number and I am not receiving to this number. They are deducting dates (June 18, 19 2013) these dates are I am fully observing.
                      Today (Jun19) I am called to Vodafone customer care 111 one Vodafone lady executive telling your receiving one call at 3:39 PM, but I am telling to her I am not receiving any call to this number, she said that in records one call receive at that time that's y money deducting she tell again I am telling to her that is my problem please transfer my call their supervisor. He asking some what is the settings->network settings in your mobile phone. I am asking after 2 min you can call me sir he said no you can call me again same number. I said OK.
                      First Time Call: 3:41 PM (duration: 15:22)
                      Again call to 111 I can ask the Vodafone executive transfer the call to your supervisor he said ok my call be on hold I am waiting that call be disconnected I am not talking that supervisor
                      Second Time Call: 3:57 PM (duration: 8:39)
                      Again call to 111 Vodafone executive I am explain my problem after again I am waiting on hold he said that you call form this number at that time he said like that finally he is also said that your call transfer to my supervisor again he Is transfer t the call to supervisor my call be on hold I am waiting that call be disconnected I am not talking that supervisor

                      I have been trying to call a IGNOU city center in bangalore (jaynagar[protected] for the past 1 hour, however the lady picks up the call yawning hesitating to give the details regarding BEd courses offerd in correspondence. Please help .

                        I am using there 699 plan plus 99rs - 2GB plan on 2G connection.

                        At present, my outstanding amount for the current month shows around 13000 RS due to my usage of internet. These guyz discount everything at the end of the billing cycle as per them. But for some reason, they have barred my internet as well as out going calls.

                        When i called them to seek clarification they were very rude and asked for a payment of Rs. 8000. I do not understand when my bill at the end of the cycle will not exceed[protected] Rs. then why should make a payment of 8000RS.

                        I send email to all their departments and talk to many people but they use foul language and threatening me to make this payment. How can I make a payment before my billing cycle.

                        I do not understand why I have been asked to make a payment of RS 8198 where as I have not even exceeded any limit according to me.

                        According to my plan, i have 2GB internet plan and i have used arnd 1300MB due to which my bill amount reflects over 12000.


                        This is a corporate number and I cannot afford to loose any call. secondly, it will be stupidity to make a payment of 8000+ at this moment since my bill may not even exceed Rs 1500 at the end of the month.

                        Either activate my services and do let me know the procedure to change the subscriber since your Customer care people including supervisor does not know how to talk to the customer.

                        He asked me to make a payment of 8000+ or else i have to wait till my bill get generated. I asked him if he can help out as this does not make sense to make such a payment then he was rude and which is not acceptable.

                        Any quick response will be highly appreciated or else i have to talk to my company to look about this frudulent activity plus i will mail to consumer court if my calls do not get activated by Monday.

                        companies like vodafone using unaccepted mode to recover outstanding amount this has happened to my friend and also to me very recently, I get a call who claims calling from Bannergatta, Bangalore police station he said his name is Sidappa who claims himself to be a cop, and then he hands the phone over to Kaushik who is a vodafone executive and it seemed like he called me not to collect the money but just to abuse me, i tried explaining my situation and wanted weeks time to pay but he was not at all ready to listen to me and at the end of the call the exact words he said was "now you dont have to pay this amount this call is recorded we know how to collect it from you" i was a customer for vodafone for more than three years, now that i`ve paid the amount after borrowing money from my parents what about the mental harassment i`ve gone through its not only Bupesh & I have faced this harassment there may be thousands across India, Our government should take strict action against these companies and start penalizing these companies, i[censored] have gone through such embarrassments pls get in touch with me at [protected]@hotmail.com lets have a discussion ans see wat we can do on this

                        I was a happy Idea subscriber. Until one day i saw an ad of vodafone outside dadar stn. It said on a first RC of 69 our subscriber will get 1p/s , 10p v2v local , 25p v2v mah & goa , 2gb data usage etc. I believed them & ported my no. from idea 2 vodafone. Went immediately to vodafone sion gallery & did a first recharge of 69 on a new sim card vide transaction id MU[protected]. Neither did i get the scheme nor did i get any talktime. They just cheated me & all my money was gone. This is how vodafone people are happy to help themselves with peoples money. I wonder how they can start schemes on their own without written permission from the subscriber. Now i am waiting for 90 days to get over to get out of vodafone. Is TRAI , DOT listening? Within a few hrs of porting i regret my decision. My cell no. is[protected]. I wonder what is the logic of TRAI to make people wait for 90 days to get rid of such cheating service providers? Their voice breaks when i am at the desk & have to go to the window to talk & listen. Whereas with idea the voice clarity was as good as a landline. Can anyone help?

                          This is to inform you that I am using Vodafone number from two years. My number is [protected]. I have submitted my payment of 1000 cash on 12 June in Vodafone bill machine in M2K Rohini Vodafone branch but because that machine was not ok so the store guard asked me that come on 13 morning so that the store manager can take cash entry. One of the employee of that M2K Rohini branch pretened us that he had sent a mail to vadafone customer care and my number will be activated within 2 hours but no action is taken till date. On 16 June the store manager Shruti in ronini store manager totally refused us that she can do anything because she don't know us or have seen us before and misbehaved very badly and humiliaite me. But on of the store employee helped and and assured us to forward our mail to their customer care on 16 June itself.

                          No action is taken yet from their end my number is still barred and also they are not giving us any transaction id or something so that I can check it from another outlet.


                          Please help me in that matter asap as my number is not working from 2 days and I have already paid my bill.

                          This is my humble request please take strict action against those irresponsible employees who are not even listening to their customers and humiliate them.

                          This is regarding the billing system which is hampering in late payments. We receive the message but the bills are deleiverd after payments that too without call details which we were receiving when we first got the number.

                              It has been a regular act since a month that some alerts like Astro alerts/MCI services is getting activated on my cell no. [protected] without any prior notice or consent.

                              This is costing me both financially and socially.
                              I have talked to the customer care personale for refunding of my money.
                              But I want full assurance that in future, no such service would get activated without any permission from my side.

                              Vodafone — Unreasonable deduction of balance

                              I, Kalyan Kumar Debroy, am a prepaid customer of Vodafone bearing mobile number [protected]. I activated Daily GPRS Pack (40 MB at Rs 4) on November 1, 2010 at 00:05 hrs. Upon activation of the above mentioned service, I started surfing connecting my phone to laptop via data cable. After one and half hour, the connection got deactivated and my phone balance was showing negative balance (Rs. -154.4720). But connection log of my laptop was showing almost 16 MB of data usage. Then I called the Customer Care for an explanation for the unreasonable deduction of balance. But the personnel on phone said that I had used extra 20 MB on surfing (i.e. total 60 MB data on surfing). Naturally, I was not satisfied with the explanation as I had used only 16 MB of data. Moreover, I have a prepaid connection. So how could my balance go down to negative value (Rs. -154.4720) ? And also when my balance reached zero, I was not even notified of the matter.
                              So, I would be happy if you take necessary measures as soon as possible. I am attaching the screen shot of the data usage (connection log) of my laptop.

                              Vodafone — unreasonable deduction

                              I had activated 99rs 1gb gprs service on my number +91-[protected] today at 11.55 am. And got a message from your side that my data pack is activated and is valid til 27.6.2012. I started using my net by 1 pm but after session got over my balance of rs. 76 got deducted. Kindly look it to the matter as soon as possible.

                                    Listing my grievances as follows:
                                    -False requests taken by Customer Care
                                    -Inflated data usage
                                    -Extremely poor follow-up on my case despite regular, daily inquiries and requests from my end
                                    -Deactivation of my services prior to resolution of my registered complaint
                                    -Deactivation of my Data Capping when asked to Deactivate Data Services

                                    vodafone-overcharge — overcharged

                                    hi team

                                    1.i have been overcharged by Vodafone and also not refunding my money.
                                    2.Blackberry charges are hopeless..overcharged
                                    3.they promised that they will give us free gifts for new postpaid connections. now its my 4th month connected with Vodafone i still haven't received any gifts.

                                      To whomsoever it may concern,
                                      I would like to put forward my complaint regarding your caller tune services. I subscribed to this service a few days back paying an amount of 30 rupees on my no. [protected]. Nowhere did it mention that before the caller tune your pathetic subscription message will be voiced. People are calling me and before they are able to hear the caller tune i pick up my call since your lame advertisement is so disturbingly long that it takes up all the time. Also, it sounds cheap and disgusting. You people should realize that its no use putting up a caller tune when all people get to hear is a terrible recorded audio of your stupid advertising strategy. I would therefore want you to either correct it immediately or refund my money otherwise i shall port my number to some other honest service provider. And next time please don't try to fool other people.

                                        I've been a customer with Vodafone for more than 6yrs using no. [protected] and I feel that Vodafone does not value his customers.
                                        I've been dissatisfied with the Bbm services provided by Vodafone. I have been trying to deactivate the services of blackberry internet yet instead of canceling it. I have been charged rs.199. Dated 12.6.13, updated the issue to AJINKYA ASHOK AMBULGEKAR then to supervisor Priyanka later with manager Vijay. But all were disappointing. similar situation took place in Oct '12 wen I was charged rs399 twice and no action was taken to refund. I had contacts the customer care no. And visited the help centre saki naka. Did file numerous complaints but I believe it fell on deaf ears. This time I am not going to let it go that way.
                                        Requesting for refund my money. I feel that instead of happily using the service, I am being forced to use something that I don't want. Please help me in this situation. Their executives have been absolutely hopeless.

                                        Vodafone — Dissatisfactory Services Provided

                                        I am using 2 nos. of Vodafone from last 2 years and every month i got some problem like charges for Caller Tune which i had never requested, charges for bill wise details which i have not requested. From last 8 months i am facing a big problem for the payment. As per Vodafone, There is a credit limit they are giving if any particular month we cannot pay bill then they will continue their services. But against this Vodafone given a contract to some collection agency and their people come to my home everyday to take a payment and forcing to make the payment. They are using a bad language and stand at home till the time i will not pay the bill even if the due amt is Rs 100 then also the people come to my place & ask for the payment. I have never receive a call from collection agency regarding that they are sending their officer to my home.
                                        For Transfer from one name to other name there are so many formalities which i have face so ultimately i have deactivate both the numbers. For deactivation, i have paid all my past dues and submitted a request to vodafone branch on 28/03/09 and as per their rules, i will receive a confimation call within 3 working days for deactivation. i got a call from vodafone on 31/3/09 and i told them that i want to deactivate both the numbers but the officer told me that i have to pay 3 days rent more ie. (28/03/09 to 31/03/09). I dont no what kind of services providing to the customer.

                                        When i checked in the tracker of first flight online it was showing that they have send the documents

                                        back to my bank saying there is no such person available.

                                        I was waiting for that document eagerly.How they can send the documents back without contacting me

                                        over the telephone whether i am available or not.

                                        Is this the type of service they give to customers .

                                        Vodafone — Blackberry Services

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        I received a call from a vodafone executive stating to use blackberry services in my E61i model from nokia which is black berry compatiable.

                                        In our discussion he said i am required to send a SMS to 111 a toll free no. He didnt told me what that sms was for. and then my billing for the black berry services started.

                                        When i came to know what that sms was for i talked to customer care with in half an hour, tey provided me the no of black berry services of vodafone. I again talked to them they said once the activation is on they cannot stop activation withour charging the amount to the account.

                                        i talked to the person whom i spoked for the services he said send me a mail and he will reverse the amount and deactivate the same service.

                                        Nothing happened.

                                        Attached the copy of the mail send to them.

                                        Subject : HIGHLY DISSATISIED WITH VODAFONE SERVICE.

                                        I am the owner of mobile no. [protected] which is valid till 2022, and this mail is to bring to your notice the problem faced by me in last few days and needs the reason for it ASAP.
                                        Recently I went to get my phone recharged from your customer care centre, civil lines Bareilly, where Ms Deepti explained me the benefits of post paid plan and I agree to convert my number to the same, also deposit Rs 250 as security and other necessary documents required . she said that the phone will get started in 24 hrs though I was in hurry since I can’t close this number as I get my tender alerts on it but understanding the formalities required I made myself comfortable with the situation, by the time a person for verification came who told me some other scheme on which I don’t agree to and asked him not to convert my plan and let it remain the same as earlier, He asked me to write on the form and I did the same . But all of sudden on Aug 1 ’09 my number gets ward (closed ) and till date I have being going to customer care centre Civil Lines Bareilly where repeatedly I am coordinating with Mr . Manu & Ms. Deepti but each time they say that we will get it started soon but nothing is being done to fix the problem, at last they said that they have crores of number to look after and can’t deliver the time for on one number, and asked me to take services of some other company, also denied to return the security or to start number. I have also seen their attitude towards other customer bad as well .

                                        I even talked at Vodafone helpline on Aug 17 ’09 at 9:50 and told the entire issue, and asked for a complain number, but Mr. Amrish ( named told by him) told that he can only give the enquiry number that is [protected], for other information needs to call at customer care, I have called number of times from my other number [protected], u can get the detalils also from our system .
                                        Many of my important tender alerts are missed coz of this.

                                        Now pls let me know after spending so much of time, efforts and money, may I get the reason for this delay and how can u replenish the same.

                                        Vodafone — charging for cancelled services

                                        HI,

                                        I have been using Vodafone for the last 2 years and using Mobile connect for a monthly rental of 499. Last month I cancelled it using their IVR on the 19th Nov. But I am being charged for it again this month. I tried to get info from Customer care but the guy named Rohit (Not sure if its his real name) is so rude and could barely converse in English and finishes his sentences with "Thats it" LOL...Customer Care sucks!!
                                        I am very not satisfied with Vodafone this time! How do I get this thing sorted out?

                                        I had registered a complaint 4 days ago asking vodafone why i'm not getting any edge in my phone and my blackberry service is not working. They gave me this complaint no. [protected] saying it will be solved in 2 days. again after days i called asking about my complaint they said this time it will be solved in 24 hours.                                         I would like to lodge a complaint against the Vodaphone executive (Mr.Rajesh) and the postpaid TL (Mr.Rajkumar) for breaking the trust between Vodaphone and the Client.

                                        I was told that 3G tower available in my home location and also in another mobile location where I used to stay on weekends. But unfortunately, none of the location is having 3G network and finally came to know that the device which they provided supports 3G network upto 3.6Mbps.

                                        I was ready to pay the money whatever might be to get a good speed (in Mbps) and believed their words; got a (postpaid) mobile broadband with unlimited (599) plan.

                                        Later came to know, the available network is of only 2G (Vodaphone EDGE) and they haven’t given me the receipt of the USB stick which they promised they will bring the next day as they forgot on that day.

                                        Trusted the vodaphone representatives and since 8th Nov 2011, I was calling them but they are not at all picking my call. If I try to call them on another line, they pick the call and disconnecting. I visited twice to the vodaphone office, he is not ready to give back my receipt even over mail and providing excuses.

                                        Improper resources to the Vodaphone management. I never faced this type of service anywhere and that too from a multinational company/service provider.

                                        Even I have cleared the executives that I already holding both TATA and RELIANCE usb stick which is bit slow compared to vodaphone. The Day-1 when I purchased this device, I told my manager everything looks good and I can support for that day from my home; but I got screwed and got 2 days LOP for poor network.


                                        I don’t mind, if you take action against them or not, but I need the receipt of the Mobile broadband device which I have purchased for Rs.1600/- and the best available network in my area.


                                        Acknowledge at the earliest and thanks in advance for addressing the issue.

                                        Note :

                                        For the network issue, I already lodged a complaint with Vodaphone with unique reference number[protected].

                                        No it hasn't.. Got a call from Vodafone retainment saying this charge cannot b reversed as it was due to autorenewal. My question is i[censored] changed your policy this March 2013 then why are the customers not being informed. Inspite of constant try to cancel the service I was charged. And your proud managers say they have no authority to do anything in this matter. Looks like either the staff is undertrained or Vodafone is not bothered ant their customers anymore. Being at the goodwill that they are.

                                        Requuesting a refund of my money that has been unduely charged and no action taken when complaint.
                                        Got a call from Vodafone stating the deduction was autotenewal and refund is not possible. Which means if my plan @399 gets over then I will b charged per day data pack, if I still don't activate it then whatever recharge I do Vodafone will juz deduct the available balance in innovative ways. Is this any type of loot that a person needs to lake the plan or will be forced to do so. My trues to cancel the plans has been vain ...
                                        Is there anybody listening...
                                        M do upset with such calls by Vodafone, seems u guys don't value ur customers anymore... No solution is not what I expect from Vodafone.
