Hi,

My Name is Zakir Hussain and using two Vodafone mobile connections. On my cell # [protected], I was using Rs 98/- 2G Rs. 98/- Internet plan. In the month of July I was having issues with the internet related setting and was not able to use internet properly. Approached Vodafone's helpdesk on July 14,2013 and the experience with the representative was horrible. Ref# SR[protected]. Problem was not resolved. On July 16, called again the helpdesk and this time representative surpassed the first one and his behaviour was non cooperative and didn't got resolution to the problem which I was facing. In anger I asked to that guy to deactivate my internet plan and he readily put the request.

On July 18, 2013 post coming to know that my internet plan request for de-activation is under process, I asked to rep on 198 help desk to reinitiate or re activate 2g Rs 98 plan on my cell. Same time as requested by the representative sent an request on Corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com stating that re initiate or re activate RS 98 2 G internet plan on my cell # [protected].

However that request was not processed and now I am getting calls to pay my inflated bill of Rs. 6476.05/- for the month of July'13 and unbilled amount of Rs 1240 for the month of Aug'13.

Approached Vodafone through customer care mailbox and they guys are also trying to justify the billed amount instead of getting that bill corrected and not answering that why my request sent on July 18 was not processed.

I am not getting support from Vodafone reps and they are not providing me any details about their seniors so that I can approach them and get that fixed.

Hi,

Again got the same remedy. For all type of illness i am getting paracetamol.

Can't you guys check the email sent for activation of 2G RS 98 plan on
my cell phone # [protected]. Are you guys trying to do away with the
problem easily and harass people.

Can you guys call me on **************** and get this resolved. I am fade of
seeing you guys justifying all the wrong things which has been done
with my billing and all the inconvenience has been caused to me
through the time.

I am a Hyderabad based postpaid customer of Vodaone having nos. [protected] & [protected] . I have 2 add on nos. and my problem is that by both the connections I am unable to make call to phone nos. having a particular STD Code ( 0548 ). I have made several calls to Vodafone people and since last Feb I am following with them to resolve my this problem however everytime the customer service executives tell me that they will forward my request to the concerned dept. and apart that they could do nothing else.
After I make a complaint Vodafone people send me messages within 10 days time that your problem has been resolved however nothing has been resolved yet. Only once it started working but that also for an hours time only.
My problem is that this is my hometown no. and I am unable to speak to my old parents who are staying alone there.
If Vodafone people are reading this complaint I request them to resolve this problem at their earliest else I will take some legal action against them.

The network is pathetic. there are call drop and services down allmost all the areas.
There customer care executive are ridgit and rude. I have gone to their store for a name change for allmost 5 times and it takes more than a quarter for the same request.
They dont convert postpaid to prepaid. (unlike any other service provider)

My honestly sugestion is never to choose Vodafone.

Vodafone India — Incorrect Information and Poor Assistance!

I am a Vodafone customer for past 5 year and I had visited a Vodafone store (Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore) on 7/5/2011 and i enquired about a particular internet tariff (provided by Airtel Rs 99 for 2GB) for my Iphone. The person said Vodafone don't have similar kind of tariff offered by airtel and he would inform if similar kind of tariff is launched. Currently i am with a plan where i get 100MB of data for Rs.199 a month which is very very high compared to airtel.

All set and i am back from the store, but recently i heard from a friend that, there is a similar kind of plan (airtel tariff) which was launched in Vodafone even before i requested for this plan and he never entertained me to change the plan. (even though he had it as it was earning more income to the company).

I can only say this is the money motive and Ultimately i am under loss.

And when i call up customer care, they also doesn't respond to my quires properly, ultimately the Vodafone service is pathetic.

Vodafone — Billing Issue-Poor customer service

I use Vodafone CUG postpaid connection for 4 years now, and had an issue with the billing in the month of sep 2011, Mailed them, called them had no response. Since i was told that i am a privileged customer, called 333 where again i had no response.Worst service provider i have ever had. Planning to change to airtel... is it a good service provider??

If its billing error you have to explain them properly. More over if customer care not response send mail to nodal officer. My suggestion is network wise airtel is good then vodafone.

Vodafone — poor service of vodafone

Dear Sir,

I am the loyal customer of Vodafone pre-paid service (mob.no. [protected]) for the last 7 years... I am also using roaming travel plan for last 4 years. but first time I m having problem that I have recharged of Rs.38 (Roaming Travel plan on my phone) on 19th Feb 2012 at 8:24 pm, in which I get the service of Rs.0.70 per min calls during roaming and Rs.0.50 per min calls to Vodafone customers and Rs.0.60 per min calls to non-vodafone customers. I received the confirmation message of recharge on my phone and receipt vochour. But, till today on 24th Feb.2012, I could not get the same service... i.e., this time I am getting the updated service of Rs.0.012 per sec to mobile calls and Rs.0.015 per sec to baseline calls.... I have tried to talk on vodafone customer service on 111 as well as 198, but till now, they could not help me to get the solution and update my phone's service.... the customer care executives could get the solution of the above problem till now .....

    I took a new connection of vodadone from a local shop on 1st August 2013, Thursday.
    I submitted all required documents which was required.Verification call was also done on 7th August 2013.

    Till now the number is not in network and deactivated. This problem is from the verification and customer care department who are not able to provide me update yet since 10 days.

    I just want to lodge complaint against all person who are involved in making new connection active. My number is not yet registered without any reason. I have submitted all documents which was needed and can give all which ever is required for any type of proof all over india.

    This is really harrasment done to me when I needed this number in priority but due to their inresponsive behavior I am still without the facility.

    I would like to remind you that I am already holding 2 postpaid numbers from Vodafone Pune since 1 and a half year but still taking prepaid connection is a pain for customers. I will surely mention this to my 150000 employees company where I am working and ask them not take Vodafone connection ever if you need due to this harrasment.

    My new connection which I have taken and not yet registered in network is [protected].

    Please see that severe action is taken against the concern department for giving me false commitments and not giving actual service. I have wasted lot money in calling the useless vodafone employees who are good for nothing.

    vodafone/prepaid connection — Non-activation of new connection

    I had purchased new connection sim card bearing No.[protected] from a retailer "Your Choice", L.M.C.Sarani, P.O. Baksara-711 110, Dist. Howrah, West Bengal (Shop Owner mobile # [protected], Salesman mobile # [protected]) on[protected] giving the required documents. I have returned the said sim card as the same could not be activated till half an hour back. On contacting customer care for several times since 23rd. I came to know that the sim couldn't be activated as the required documents didn't reach you. Not even the sms, normally sent by the seller, as soon as they hand over the sim to the customer. As per the retail shop owner all the new connections are activated through their distributor M/s.Udyog, Nimtala, Duliya, Jalardhar, Andul Road, Howrah - 711302, Mr. Manoj Das, Business Manager, Mobile No.[protected], e-mail:[protected]@hotmail.com. While chasing up with the retailer for number of times by personal visit, I have observed, from the telephonic conversasion between the retailer and the said distributor, that the said distributor was very much reluctant to entertain their customers and was giving repeated fals commitment in a very harh manner.

    Its for your information I have been using Airtel connection since last more than 10 years and I am extreamly happy with their service. Due to my personal reason I have purchased a new hand set and wanted to have the experience of Vodafone who claims better service. But unfortunately I have observed that your service is very much unfrofessional and not customer friendly may be because of incompetant distributors, appointed by you through whome you are supposed to reach the public. What a nice experience I have gathered at the begining. It goes without saying that definitely I, being a professional, am going to share my experience among my associates, friends, relative etc.

    Vodafone India — Delay in Postpaid connection Activation

    Applied for the postpaid connection on 2ndJuly 2009 against the payment of Rs. 350/- and submitting all the required documents. They issued mobile no. [protected]. The verification was done on 3rd July 2009. They asked for additional address proof, guarantee of future payment by my father and additional payment of Rs. 300/- (refundable)( don’t know for wot). This all requirement formalities was done on 7th July 2009. Vodafone guarantee to activate the connection by same day ( 7th) by 2100 hrs. But till date (10th July 2009), no activation was done. Customer Care not providing any info and action. If this is the services of Vadofone, then I wish to cancel the application and demand the full payment of Rs. 650/-

    Vodafone Prepaid — Activation of New Mobile No.

    I purchases my new sim no. from Sector -71 noida . In the starting it was activate for three year after three days it deactivated when i call to customer care they told me reason of Not submitting of document for deactivation. when i went to shop to know why they have not submitted my document when i have already submitted then i found that shop is closed i wait 2 to 3 days but shop was closed then i confirm from nearby shop that why this particular shop is close they say it is not close it has been shut down for ever. then i submitted my document to sector 18, noida vodaphone store as per the customer care recommandation, but now it has been four days and my mobile is deactivate whenever i call to customer care they say purchase new no. they hav'nt received my document. and vodaphone owner said he has forward document . now what should i do.

    This is what I wanted to convey that verfication call in reference number was successfylly done even after this, I am being said that reference number given was invalid.

    I am not expecting anything but to make your employees educated about the process and more sincere towards services. Your area manager as well as form collectyion department all have no clue as how the verification was done if number was incorrect. Even after confirmed verification from local reference given, my number was not activated and reason for this in your department was that they have not yet received the documents. But as per area manager's call, document was received but number is invalid. But all are lying as they know they have done some mistake which they are not able to rectify. So this complaint against the department who is jhandling such cases and take strict against such employees.

    Rest is all yours do not have to instruct me what shall I do as I am using cell phones since year 1998 and knows every ifs and buts of verification. Though process gets changed as per instructions from govt. and time to time so I understand what is giving information to customers and what is fooling a customer.

    Thanks for all your effort in replying to my grievience but please perform analysis as why I have raised this complaint and I am not a novice that will not understand what is the process and what is the mistake in process done by vodafone employees.

      I am vodafone user my number is [protected] since last 4 yaers and want to complain for the deduction of my balance i.e of Rs 50.Whenever i got a recharge from last 2years they deduct some sort of balance and tell you have used the internet or this VAS services are activated.
      But On 10aug,2013, till 4.30am my balance was Rs58.084 and when again woked up at 6.30am i called one number after ending call i checked balance was Rs18.084.Earlier they have deducted Rs10 saying for Credit they had deducted but i havn't used that service.
      Everytime they do like this when my problem is solved.and i can port my number to any service provider but i want to show what are they doing?

      i shreyans punmiya (cell no.[protected]),got sms from vodafone on 15-1-11 for activation for caller tune at 9.30p.m, on 9.31 p.m i called customer care they told nothing is being activated and no dedution will be made. however, i sent sms to deactivate caller tune.at,9.45p.m rs,129/- were deducted from my balance.again i called at helpline,they said you go the gallery. next day 16-1-11 at 10 a.m i went at borivali west gallery, i was told that we had taken your complaint and rs.100/- will be credited in your a/c within 48 hrs.my token no.was 5 it was not credited till saturday,so on23-1-11 sunday again i went to the gallery and met the same person who said for the credit.now he checked his system and told me your a/c will be credited within 12 hrs.till today no credit has been given, after visiting the gallery thrice. i dont understand why we customer of prepaid are treated like this. rs129/- do not make much difference for vodafone but it do make for small consumers. hope this do not go unnoticed by the officials of vodafone and do pls credit my a/c.for irrelevant deduction made by them.

      i venkatesh.r from bangalore is using your network from past 3 months and my number is [[protected]].from day efore yestarday i am facing the problem from customer care and the problem is that i got my account recharged on 14/02/2011 for rs100/ from mysore around 7.30pm and afterwars around 9.30 i got my internet package activated by getting recharged rs16/ to my account on the same date mentioned above and i am using the internet facility from my mobile from past 3 months and i have not faced any problem.but unfortunetly on 14/02/2011 night around 11.00p.m my balance went upto [-241.20rs] and when i called your customer care they didnt reply me properly after calling for 3 times at last i asked them to connect to there higher authority and they connected to him he said that after getting the recharge done i have to wait for 4 hours to get my inernet package activated and when i said him that i am using from past 3 months and when i used to get recharged for internet facility it would get activated and i would use the facility within 15 minutes so he said me that the rules and regulations have changed from this week and when i said that you the customer person are the right persons to see that the new rules and regulations have to informed to the customer he said that its the duty of customer to call the customer care and to ask the change of rules and regulations its not the proper way he spoke to me and at last he took my complaint and gave me the compalint number[[protected]] and asked me to stay calm for 24hrs and he said that my balance will be remmited {till now there is no remitting or any call from customer care and they have blocked me from calling the customer care}.so ikindly request you to do the needfull at the earliest and to get my account remitted back and to see to it that customer care persons talk to the customers in a propper manner.

      sir my balance was deducted on 16.08.2011 between 9.00P.M to 12.90A.M and i registered my complaint on friday,complaint number is [protected] and told that query will be resolved by 17.08.2011 05.55pm..till now my query is not resolved n i did not received my balance..they always tell u have to wait for another 24hrs from 2 days..so please am totally harassed with this..balance was deducted was around Rs 139/-

        I got my vodafone datacard couple of months ago, but till now I didn't able to access my datacard, last month when I went to Vodafone Service Center A.S. Rao Nagar, they checked and waived my previous months bills, but again they generated for this months bill and call me to pay for that bill, just I want to know without resolving my problem how they can ask me to pay that bill, and one more highlight part is unnecessary one of the stupid fellow call me to says that we are calling from Delhi Police Department, stating that Vodafone company has been file a case against you.

        1. Before Due date vodafone people called and told that they come and collect the payment - it is very funny they called me for nearly 7 days and never turned back. Each day atleast 5 people will be calling. I noted the girl name in service point is RENUKA but no use. FAKE PROMISES AND BAD SERVICE

        2. They even called my References (friends) and complaint about non payment of Bill. I was very disappointed the way they are working.

        3. After paying the bill I called the service centre and left the message with ARAVINDH he promised me bla, bla...... AGAIN FAKE PROMISES.

        4. Again I called Service centre one girl picked and I explained the whole problem. This time the Girl never gave her name......

        5. I am a businessman and it is very HORRIBLE TO BE WITHOUT PHONE FOR 4 DAYS EVEN AFTER PAYING THE BILL.

        PLS ADVICE CAN I PUT THE CASE IN CONSUMER COURT.

        I have already written u few days back about the kind of service and a customer is suffering for it.
        Myself Deepali Ingale one o[censored]r Vodafone Customer, My no is [protected].I have converted my Billing into prepaid.I have submitted my documents cleared out all ur dues, and paid Rs.100 for sim and Rs.199 for lifetime prepaid.I have paid it from my debit card in vodafone gallery at thane(w) in fromt of malhar.After that i have called to u r customer care for many a times and finally my conversion was done after a struggle of calling customer care because they use to give us foolish kind of ans like our concern person is not there u better call tomorrow morning and all. I as a customer have suffered a lot for it.Now the next story begins.. i should say it a story because it is some waht like that...
        My sim is deactivated all outgoing and incoming calls have been deactivated.Now when i m calling a customer care first person with whoom i was talking he said that ur documents are pending u submit it in vaodafone gallery.Why should i? When i have already submitted it was my question to him and i said him to transfer my call to the senior person he disconnected my call.Second time when i called that peson says ur validity of card expires.How can a validity of Lifetime expire was my question to him??? Than i have talked to the supervisor and he says we dont have a record right now u better call tomorrow morning after 10.00 am we will receive the details from vaodafone gallery.Even i am a software developer i work from morning 9.00 till 8.00 so how can i keep calling u always or go in vodafone gallery.I dont have time to run behind u people and vodafone is such a big set up than how dont this people get the details at night why do the customer need to keep calling u at 10.00 and all?????
        I as a cutomer i am totally lear from my side.. I have paid the dues documents..Why shopuld i suffer from this thing because i m a vodafone customer.. is that the thing.. I want my sim to get activated very soon... Kindly do that and i m going to put this mail again in Consumer Complaint...

        Vodafone — Worst Services

        One of the worst call centers to connect there is a systems which keeps on giving you all useless information for a minute or more then it goes on letting know all types of service and after three minutes it connects to the call center. More over the service they provide is pathetic. I have been facing problems with messaging which i use to chat with my freinds and the messages get stuck and get delivered in midnight. When i raised the complaint i got a response of resolving it in first 24 hour, then 48 hours and now a 10 days they need to resolve it. The problem is i dont want to change this number because this is with about 500 people in my contact list?

        Is there any rating below poor or worst?

        Can any one let me know how to file a case in consmer court and can the court help me resloving this problem.

        I completely agree with Mundeep. I have had similar experience with both the vodafone call centre guys and the Vodafone store executives. In spite of providing the concerned details for more than 3 times now, they have not resolved my issue yet.

        I had lodged a complaint with the Vodafone store executives regarding discrepency in the billing charges.I had submitted the required bills as well and then they had provided me a complaint number saying that they would send the bills to the backend and the issue would be resolved soon.

        Its been more than '10 months' since I had lodged the complaint and yet they have not shown any progress whatsoever on the issue inspite of the fact that I had done the above mentioned procedure twice.

        The Vodafone store executive told me that they lost the photocopies when the first time I submitted them, and this I learnt when I followed up on the issue. They did not even care to let me know about the loss. And now when I have submitted them the bills for the second time, the call centre guy tells me that the back end guys did not received any bills from the vodaphone store. ' THIS IS REALLY DAMN PATHETIC ON VODAFONE'S PART'

        I think Vodafone, a telecom major, is really not up to mark when it comes to customer service.

        Worst Service — Worst Service

        One of the Mutual Fund Company had send a cover in my Residence Address Thane. The Courier Person came on the Day One House was closed. He even didn't put any message regarding courier has come. Second day he came he gave the mobile number to my Watchman. Then I called him he replied that I had just drop in the House. I gave a call to His Team Leader Mr. Rajesh From Thane Office, he doesn't even know how to talk with the customer he gave a very funny answer that we receive 3000 covers in a day so we cannot handle all of them. Manpower is also very less i will not remember what had happend. Then I explianed him everything that the house is closed the couerier person had done my signature and the cover was somewere else. He told when the courier person will return in the evening I will call you and clear the case. 5 days passed Mr. Rajesh forget everything he then framed a very nice story that the courier person came to my new address he gave the cover to you. I havd even called customer care they informed my Monday somebody will call you accordingly. 7 Days have passed nobody is interested to look into the matter. I am really suprised all banks sends credit card through such third class courier company. Ttheir Team leaders doesn't even know how to talk with customers. Can somebody from the Higher authority please look into the matter and please call me for the same.

        Vodafone is giving worst service now a days, Hutch is far better than this stupid company. without our knowledge they are activating some stupid special services and they are eating our money.         I am the proud owner of vodafone post paid number [protected].I got this number around 8 months ago.From very first i never wanted to go for vodafone since it was having network problems but my friens referred me to go for vodafone post paid.And i did so.
        It was fine till a couple of months then i started to get bad service.First one was for activating some msging plan which normally takes 48hrs but vodafone almost took 10 days and nothing happened.I called several times but they just went on promising me that it will get rectifies then at last i told them to cancel my request which is not processed.But after putting request for cancellation they activated that plan which is against my will and they also charged me for that ant they never informrd me that the service is activated.I came to know after i recieved my bills,which is really reaaly not good.
        Then nothing happened i called them they did not response to me properly even i left the issue.I had also requested to activate my no is NDNC before 3 months but still i'm gettin all types of marketing msges.I tried to call several time,they took many complains also and promised me everytime that it be fixed within some given time but till now i did not get any response,nothing happening still i'm facing the same problem with vodafone.When i try to call and ask them whats the reason they give me some stories and sometimes they tell its activated and sometimes they also tell that is it not activated.
        I am experiencing the worst service with vodafone.Always there is some problem with the service.Still the issue is not solved.
        Somebody please help me so that i can get good service from Vodafone.

            I have postpaid corporate connection of vodafone no. [protected]. Their representative gave me a plan which showed roaming incoming and outgoing charges to b 60p and 80p respectively, whereas they charged me 1re and 1:50 rs. for the same. They are not ready to revert me the money back, rather they are saying we have the same charges in our plan. i have already called and mailed them the scanned plan provided by their representative, but they are not ready to listen, and again in thsi month bill they have charged me the same. I have proofs of bills as well as the copy of the plan provided by their representative. Please take action ASAP.

              I mailed to vodafone cus care to activate Internett pack in my mobile, on 5th but I received response only on 7th saying that only on 10th it would be activated. and I called them and asked why it is taking this much long. And they replied me that this is the procedure, I don't understand why it takes this much long then pre-paid plan is better than this it gets activated immediately after recharge. Will this procedure take 5 days to activate? And when I spoke to the cus care what ever quest I asked him, he had a standard answer, No madam its not possible. Should customers wait for a week almost to for every plan to get activated, then why should I go with Vodafone pre paid, Is the procedure really like this????

              I had taken this postpaid connection no.[protected].

              First they gave me a prepaid connection on that and said that the postpaid will get activated after verification. I categorically told them that i will be out at work between 9-6 from monday to saturday.
              They came for verification when i was in office and it got declined. They came for reverification again on sunday the 23rd of february at 5 pm. Verification got done and they sill have not activated the post paid, even after my visit to thei CP office and the constant assurances given by Ms.Nishtha.
              My prepaid validity is also expiring tomorrow and since i have given this number to all my ofice people i do not know what to do.

              I have already paid 500 to vodafone and now for the harassement i have faced i want to lodge a formal complaint.

              Vodafone — Non Activation of Postpaid Plan

              I have a Prepaid plan of vodafone, which started showing SIM card failure about two months back. Regarding this I visited the Customer Care Centre of vodafone located at Nirman Vihar. There the Executive Ms. Harleen attended to my problem, and later offered a more attractive Postpaid plan. After hearing the deatails I agreed to switch over to Postpaid plan from the existing Prepaid plan ( Ph No.[protected], Form no.7575084). I paid Rs 500 for the same, as she explained to me Rs 250 as Security deposit and remaining Rs. 250 to be adjusted against my fourth bill onwards.

              I received the Verification call, the person enquired about the payment of Rs 500, but quickly added that " aapko galat batlaya hai, there is nothing like adjusting of Rs 250 against the fourth bill onwards". Then she told me "Madam, I will arrange a call back for the clarification on this matter".

              It has been more than 6 weeks now that I have not received any call, and despite paying that Rs 500 I am still continuing with my Prepaid plan. When I contacted my local Vodafone dealer to know the status, the status was shown as INVALID, and I was told to go back to the same Centre at Nirman Vihar from where my request was initiated.
              I am a professional with my own serious time constraints, and now I am required to go round and round to pursue the matter or just forget about the money I paid for the purpose.
              I wonder how vulnerable we are to walk in such traps of service providers like Vodafone, who cheat people in and out and still remain untouched for their unethical business practices. This happens only in India where such big companies are openly sucking the people in the name of business !

I had activated 399 plan for my BBM services . This is my recharge details . As customer care guys told me my exiting plan will be discontinued on recharge of 129 plan I didn't deactivate my 399 plan. Now there is 2 BBM services activated on my number . I seriously don't understand why is a person who don't know anything is made a customer care personal .Now when I called customer care to report this problem they are not ready to help me. Now I have lost 199 rs . How will I get my money back . Why a customer activate two same plan at a time ?? What has happened to my 129 plan ??

                  I've been charged an anonymous amount of Rs.15 towards animation download in my bill for the month of July'13.

                  Despite repeated mails, i am still not able to get an concrete reason as to why i was charged for the same.

                  I've not used any WAP downloads or Vodafone live and dont have the necessity to do it either.

                  No changes in the bill have been made. Hope the issue gets resolved so that i can make the payment and continue using vodafone services.

                    This is regarding my vodafone postpaid number [protected]. It is a CUG (closed user group) number.

                    Ten months ago ( Nov'12 ) my plan was changed by vodafone without my consent and a random charge of Rs.711 was charged to me according to new plan. When asked from customer care about this charge, they replied that it is advanced rental for the coming year. My direct answer was that i want to close this number. The customer care person says to me that i cant close this number until i pay my bill that included 711 as well.

                    Now why would i use postpaid instead of prepaid when i want to pay in advance. The executive also explains that for the next months there will be no additional charges and monthly charges on this plan and i will be charged for calling only. So i decided to continue with this as i had no option and i certainly did not want to pay 711 just to close that connection.

                    Then next month i am charged with monthly rental. I explain my problem to customer care and the person says if i have been charged advanced rental this should not be done and it will be fixed in next bill. But it did not get fixed, so i talk to the person handling our CUG corporate users. He says that this would be fixed. I get a refund of Rs. 297 after this in my next bill.

                    To my dis-relief i get charged with monthly rental again in my next bill. this keeps going on till 3 months and me fighting on customer care for resolution. Then i contact my group handler again and he replies me that refund will be made and he also tells me that my plan was never supposed to get changed without my consent.

                    No its nine months since then and i again get charged with 711 as advance rental and obviously i cant stop the number until i pay the full bill including this amount.

                    I have stopped paying my bill as i did not want to get into problems of asking them afterwards for my own money of refund. It should have been balanced with my existing bill.

                    Now i only wish to close this number but i do not want to pay additional money to this company trying to use their fraudulent tactics of misinforming its users.

                    I have been using airtel prepaid for past 6 years and never had such a headache, also had reliance postpaid for 3 yrs

                    new postpaid connection — poor customer care service

                    hi this is krishna prasad, noida. i have taken the new postpaid connection. My problem: i have taken new sim card with mobile number [protected] and i have submitted all the documents which is required. verification is also done. but the my outgoing calls and incoming calls are deactivated. i called to customer care and they said everything is fine from their side and the sim is activated. but in mobile it is showing sim is inactive and i'm not able to do the calls. i went to vodafone care too. they said they have to contact to customer care number 111 or [protected]. i have contacted to these numbers, if i asked them they are telling to contact vodafone care. this is too bad these people are playing with customers. customer service is very poor in solving the customer problems. till now my problem is not solved. I didn't saw this kind of service. i think vodafone is providing good network, so i shifted from reliance to vodafone. but i faced a bad experience with vodafone services. this is very harsh to have this kind of experience. i hope this will not repeat for other customers and hope vodafone will provide a good customer care services in future.

                    new postpaid connection — Duplicate Number

                    I had booked a postpaid connection with Bharti Airtel Limited through their local dealer M/s Ashtavinayka Enterprises Kolhapur MS India n 26/11/2007 receipt no. KOL/ASHT-3658.

                    I wanted last four digits to be 7979 and i had mentioned this condition before applying for the said connection. Therefore i was given a number [protected] and the Airtel postpaid starter Pack along with it with contains 32k Sim card bearing no.[protected] 4.
                    I was told it will be activated within48hours, eventually after 48hr i tried to connect the sim which failed to connect on the system.
                    I was shocked to know after having called the customer service center that the number has been activated on somebody else’s name.
                    Ever since I have been told that they will allot a different number, which am still waiting for.
                    Kindly take the note and guide in this matter. Thank You.

                    I have registered for GPRS service on 11th Jan. I had some issues with GPRS and customer care doesn't solve my problem. Despite of that some one has given wrong information to me saying that GPRS services are down on[protected] and try it on Monday and other one said that you are calling STD, we can't transfer this call to technical guy. Somehow I have resolved my GPRS issues by myself itself.
                    I have called so many times to Customer care on 12th and 13th. Since I am in Roaming, I had done so many STD calls to Vodafone call centre.
                    I also have to say that even my home is giving me lots of trouble. I got this number only 14 days back and I am facing problems. Time and again when I want to make a call it says "NO network Coverage". Inspite of the fact that I have a proper registration number, this problem continues. And please give me a customer care executive number, a person to contact on behalf of Vodafone.

                    Vodafone — Terrible Customer Care Service

                    Vodafone has serious issuses in life and business. They are spending thousands advertising the dumb pug of theirs and relateing it to customer sercives maybe they should spend a little more time spending money on their stupid BPO.

                    I paid money to migrate from post paid to prepaid in April, its 30th May today and I am still on Prepaid.

                    I called up their Customer Care from April to 3rd week of May and everytime I was told one thing, "Sorry Sir, our system is being upgraded we cannot help you." Fantastic Upgradation, Your own Customer Service can't access Customer Data Bank! Maybe Vodafone should read more about back ups that can be taken before upgrading facilities.

                    I have been calling up Customer Service in the 4th week of May and guess what? They don't have a Customer Care Service. The moment you try reaching their executives, you are looped back to the main menu, and option 4(migration from prepaid to post paid) and 5 (something to do with theft) end your call!!

                    I am most disappointed with their service, its STINKS!
                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                    I am very unhappy to say that even though complaining to your customer care so many times so far my problems has not been resolved and so finally I fed up with your Vodafone services and decided to discontinue the service for my both Vodafone post paid connections.

                    For your kind information I just want to inform you that yesterday only I started to trying one STD Mobile number ([protected]) from my both the Vodafone numbers and surprised when from evening 7 P.M to Midnight 12 your network is displaying busy. It’s just like nonsense. You know how important is yesterday calls for me?? My mother was hospitalized and due to your Vodafone service we are not able to contact a single time. And when called up at 111 to your customer care your executives are telling me some stories which was really unprofessional.

                    I am telling you boss….. If anything goes wrong I will pull you people to consumer court so beware now. It’s come to neck now which is really unable to bear it.

                    And this time I am not going to pay a single rupee of bills unless until I will get the compensation for my all loss in terms of time and physical/mental stress.

                    2.> For STD calls, we have to try at least for minimum of 1-2 hours time.

                    3.> The call gets disconnected in between very frequently.

                    4.> There are echo sound problems from my side and really it’s irritates when I heard my own voice like echo.

                    5.> Most of the time we are getting the unnecessary and useless messages through SMS.

                    6.> There is always some messages are blinking even not in used like non-sense quiz questions and by mistake if we press the answer button we have to pay some additional charges.

                    7.> Most of the time our phones are unreachable to callers and due to this I already lost 3-4 job interview calls which was really mean a lot for me.

                    8.> Even though we are always paid the all outstanding amount before due date but we are getting the calls/SMS for payment reminder from 10 days before of due date at very frequent intervals.

                    This is the final mail from my side. If you peoples are unable to resolve above explained issues then I am extremely sorry to say that we have to deactivate your services and go for other service provider.

                    Hope you will understand my problems. Or ready for consumer court. I am going to file it by tomorrow.

                    Vodafone Postpaid — Problem with customer care

                    Hi myself Amit Verma I was using Postpaid connection([protected]) before 7-6 months ago I was getting the bills which contains false transaction charges which I never opted for so I call the customer care and told them to disconnetect my services after that all my incoming and outgoing services got barred. But last month only I got the bill and getting calls from customer care to submit the amoount and also get the call from some legal firm regarding some action then I submitted the bill for the thing which I never used, Can some one told what can i do in this case.
                    My name is Rajeev R. Singh (Mobile Number[protected] and I have been a customer of Vodafone since 1999 (initially with Hutch Prepaid and later Postpaid). Of late (since the time that Hutch became Vodafone) I have been totally dissatisfied with the services provided by you all, and even though I have such an old number, and was a high usage customer, I decided to switch to Airtel and took a new plan from them. Reasons for leaving are many, and if you are interested in knowing why I wanted to leave, I have listed the primarily ones after my complaint. My complaint is as follows:-

                    1) I I have already mentioned, I wanted to surrender my connection, as I had already taken a new Airtel connection. To do this, I called up your customer care. They referred me to a 'special team' which I came to know was instead a 'retention team' to prevent customers from leaving.
                    2) The retention team representative asked me why I wanted to leave, and on hearing me, offered to help me retain my Vodafone Postpaid connection on a Lifetime Plan. The following were offered:-
                    a) Waiver of Rs. 49/- as monthly CLIP charges.
                    b) Waiver of Rs. 21/- as monthy charges for voicemail for 6 months (to be renewed again if I request after 6 months).
                    c) Free F & F one number for 3 months.
                    I agreed to retain my number as a secondary number, subject to these offers. (Airtel becoming the main number as they have much better plans for me!) I was given the following Service Registration Numbers:[protected], [protected], [protected] for the retention offer.
                    3) However, upon receiving my Bill, I was horrified to learn that I was charged for CLIP and Voice Mail. Upon calling up Customer Care, they told me that the 'offers' related to CLIP and Voicemail that had been made to me had been rejected! How could they have rejected what was already committed was beyond my comprehension. That too without anyone bothering to inform me, the customer. I asked them to get me in touch with the 'retention team' once again.
                    4) The retention team was aprised of the situation by me, and I was told by them that actually the offers were not rejected and that 'this time' it 'would not be repeated'. I told them categorically that in that case, I would make payments of the bill which included the fees for lifetime plan, CLIP etc., only upon hearing a confirmation from Customer Care that actually the offers that Vodafone made to me stood. This time I was given the following Service Registration Numbers:- [protected], [protected], [protected].
                    5) I did not make the bill payment, as in case I did so, I would be trapped into the Lifetime Plan with Vodafone walking out of the offer conditionalities that went with me being retained with Vodafone.
                    6) I was told that I would recieve a confirmation call back from Vodafone. Needless to say that true to Vodafone tradition, no one has bothered to call me back. Hence I am not aware whether Vodafone can stand by its commitments made to me.

                    My request to you is as follows:-
                    A) Please inform me whether Vodafone would be able to keep to its commitment to me as per the offers made to me given vide point no 2. above.
                    B) Please ensure that I am not charged a late fee in the next bill for the current bill not paid by me, which has been witheld pending confirmation as mentioned above from Vodafone's end. The bill would be paid immediately upon hearing the confirmations from your end. In case I do not hear the confirmation / or Vodafone can not stand by its commitment given to me, I would pay earlier usage charges and surrender my connection. In that case I would not pay the Lifetime Plan charges, CLIP etc.

                    Some compelling reasons for wanting to leave Vodafone

                    1) Vodafone has been stressing only on marketing gimmicks like 'happy to help you'. Introduction of this latest gimmick coincided with it becoming really difficult to get through to the customer care system. options of the IVR have changed, giving the customer lesser options. There is now no 'straight' option of requesting to directly connect to a customer care representative. The fellow is hidden behind so many irrelevant 'options'. It has become as inaccessible and unprofessional as Reliance's customer care system. Also, the levels of competence of your representatives, whenever we can get them to talk to us, has become substandard. More often than not they appear to be faffing around, without adequate knowledge.
                    2) No one from your system ever calls back, even when they say they would. Yes and there are no exceptions to this rule. Ask anyone if they have ever received a promised 'callback' from Vodafone!
                    3) Since it became Vodafone, there has not been a single new Postpaid Plan introduced which is attractive. There has been some poor rehashing of plans though. In case new plans have been introduced, they are not reflected on your website.
                    4) On our handsets, the practice of getting to know the whereabouts of where we are located has been replaced with scrolling advertisements like 'sensx*123*308#@ 40m'. I wonder why am I subjected to this, even though I am registered with the 'Do Not Disturb' registry.

                    I got a new connection, for which i had to run atleast 2-3 times to your Vodafone care for getting it activated. & 5-6 calls to 111. I have wasted my time.

                    I submitted my documents twice at Vodafone centre - dombivli branch. At first, i submitted a copy of Electricity bill, flat agreement copy( as the electricity bill was on the society's name) and a pan card copy. Even after submitting these documents, i got a message from your centre that the documents have been rejected. Again i visted the vodafone centre and re-submitted the documents as per their requirement. This time i had submited the same documents and a maintenance copy for address proof on Sunday16th Nov, 2008. But again my no. has been disconnected and they have the same reason to say that the documents are been rejected. I never thought like that it has become so much difficult to get a simple vodafone SIM card.

                    If this is the case, i dont think any of your customers must be leaving your office satisfied. Better change the logo"happy2help" to "happy2torture".

HE told me that we cant refund ur money & cannot activate ur caller tune bcz the deactivating message is updated in 24 hours .& after that whenever i call over there he put me on hold or hang up or after 7 time my no. is banned over there. Now i have all recrdings of this bad experience . & if i go tu consumer court than i can easily put charge on u guys of atleast 50, 000 & cancelled ur lisence .Because they mentaly harashed me alot .                     just last week i converted my vodaphone preepaid conection [protected] to post paid, and i had taken a plan with rental 499/ in which i was told that i have 665 min free and 400 sms free, but yesterday my cell services has been barred, no incoming and out going.
                    i called on 111, on which first i heard that my unbilled amount is Rs2263 then they are saying my due is rs336, i treid to talk on[protected] one o[censored]r customer care no, first one lady picked up the phone and assured me that she will call back to me after having the detailes but she did not, and when i tried to call her again she disconnected my call several times at last after an hour of continous calling one person has picked up the phone and again assured me that he will get back to me.

                    I have been using vodafone for many years. Call drops, network congestion, deactivation while roaming, lapses in value added services, etc are frequent. They call me a premium customer (according to their executives)!! If this is what they do with premium costomers, what would be the plight of others? There had been times, for days, my phone has not worked!!

                    I suggest, they rename themselves to VOIDFONE and their Vice President is redesignated to President - Vices, which would be more befitting.

                    Vodafone — Vodafone Billing is Bad

                    Vodafone’s customer service starts calling one week after you paid off your last bill and will harass you until you pay the next. This cycle goes on. I understand they need to follow up and what they are dong is pure harassment. If Vodafone spends half the money in genuinely improving their customer service, instead of hiring a dozen call centers to just do the mass calls, many customers would have been far happier.

                    Continuously I used to get call and msg frm them regarding their scheme,

ON RECHARGING(TOP-UP) OF THE SAME AMOUNT, I WAS PROVIDED WITH SOME SMS SERVICE. ON REINQUIRING I WAS TOLD THAT THE TARRIF WAS 98/- RUPEES AND NOT 89.ON TAKING UP THE ISSUES WITH THE SUBSEQUENT MANAGERS MR.MANDEEP, I WAS CONFIRMED THAT THE FAULT WAS ON THEIR SIDE ONLY.                     Vodafone has activated their own (vodafone) caller tune and then sent message that "as per your request, caller tune has been activated" and then sent one more message " This has been activated for free of cost for 2 months". Since I was not interested in caller tunes, I have ignored their caller tunes/message. After two months, they have charged Monthly Charges Rs 30 and Download Charge: Rs 15 and Service tax for caller tunes though I did not ask them to activate caller tune. Upon calling customer care, they considered Consumer Consent BY DEFAULT and started charging amount for caller tunes and download charges. I have been a postpaid customer of Vodafone for the past 4 years and they have started cheating people like this.                       As employee of ABB corporate skime i took vodaphone 3G connection on monthly plan Rs.350/- unlimited upto 1GB after that speed will decrease so as per that 2 months it works after that it charges increase and as last month they charge me around Rs.1000/- so i have not paid any money and they cut the connection then again they charge me this month by Rs.1000+1000=2000/- and this is their stretegy as i already asked them wind up my connection when they charge me Rs.1000/- thus they are cheating the people and totaly fraud company in india.

                        I am using a 2g prepaid service with Vodafone ([protected]), which is Rs.125/- for 1 GB. This had expired on 6th August, without any alerts (usually they send an sms). To my surprise within an hour or so Vodaphone has deducted Rs. 67 or some thing for the data services. I did call up their service center, but without any help. My concerns are as follows :- 1). Why was there no reminders send for service expiry ? 2). What is the breakup of the charges (within an hour and I did not use any internet) in terms of data services deducted from my balance ? This is a clear case of denial or service to extract balance on the phone.

                        Also, Dialing #111* also does not allow me to see the last 3 call charges. Also, any resentment in the form of sending "NO" sms on the reply to the service satisfaction is not going with the message as sms not sent, even after 10 resend. This is nothing but a cheat and eyewash from Vodafone.

                        My name is Mubin Mohamed...I am a vodafone post-paid user...My number is [protected]...On 15-12-08, i got an sms titled "Urgent"...i opened the sms n read it...It sed tht i have been chosen for a $5000 prize guarenteed n to claim that prize i had to call this number"[protected]"...I was curious n i did wht it said...When i called up tht number, a recorded voice message greeted me(Just like ur customer care services) n asked my number and verified it and it proclaimed me winner for their winter season prize and asked a bunch of questions...Everything was so promising untill it reached the end...They said that i have to confirm my win and to do so i had send my name along with my address and game code...And when it reached the part were they told me the game code it went like this..."Here is ur game code...""Once again ur game code is...""Here is ur game code one last time..." They never gave me the game code...This intrigued me so i called them 3 times to get the code and my brother also looked it up...But it was the same result...After a couple of days i checked my bill for this month and found out that they have charged me for each and every call i made...

                        I was frauded by one o[censored]r Services which had no effect in this zone which i use and i hope that u dont expect me to pay for it!!!

                        Well I was really very happy with the vodafone services, but today when for some reason I wanted to convert my postpaid account to prepaid the attendant at the gallery gave me a tough time, she almost took 1 hour to complete the procedures, she was just so reluctant to convert my card...

                        After every thing was done, she says that I will have to recharge my card of a minimum amount of Rs.100...whereas the person at the customer care told that I just need to pay Rs.29 for a new prepaid Sim card...I still agreed for it, then she says later that I have to pay Rs.100 + Rs29 for a new Sim card...I simply lost it...but she went on to explain that it is the procedure and blah blah...and then she said that the benefit is I will get a talk-time of Rs.50 instead of the regular Rs.5 which is given on Rs.99 recharge...so I said ok I just need to get rid of the card soon and agreed for all the exorbitant prices she was asking for...

                        And now when my postpaid account is blocked and I put in the new Sim card and recharged my card with the 99 top up that she gave me, I just got Rs.10, what a waste...I simply feel so cheated...

                        I purchased 2 pre-paid Sim cards on[protected], from Vodafone store at jayanager, and was misguided about the plan and the customer service representative told that the plan is Rs.699 unlimited calling and both the Sim card were activated when I gave my documents and 1-photograph. But after 1-week of the card, the card was disconnected and barred for all outgoing calls and the other card after 2 weeks without any notification and I have called the customer service of Vodafone several time and they don’t respond properly and the hung up me and put me on hold for 45 to 50 minutes for 15 to 20 times. Once I demand to speak with the manager or the supervisor they denied to transfer and told he is busy on other call and yet put on hold for long time and hung up on me again. They simply cut the call without any courtesy I’m very hurt because I purchased these connections thinking it will help for my business purpose but I’m cheated. They had promised to call back for 5-6 times and they never called back. I want my Money back I have spent Rs-1400.00 and got nothing and wasted my time 5-6 days. Please help me with this matter to get my money back.

                        Despite of repeated reminders and calls to customer care Vodafone is still not able to solve my problem.

                        They are cheating with unnecessary activations their value added services to me as per trailed mails given below, and not even responding to any query.

                        Being an DND activated customer they are still disturbing by making promotional calls and messages.

                        I have all proofs regarding harassing customers even after DND activation, and I am fed up with rejecting promotional calls on daily basis and confirming deactivation o[censored]nnecessary .

                          1. I have deactivated Auto debit facility with Vodafone by sending SMS on 01.08.13 and confirmation SMS for the same also received but my bill for Rs. 6,500 was auto debited to my ICICI bank on 05.08.13

                          2. I purchased Samsung Grand and Vodafone have given me 3G mobile internet for 2 months free of cost. I have received the bill of around 1500 for the first month of my purchase and use of smart phone that was even higher but i have deactivated lots of service started by vodafone like some videos weekly charges etc. and use to received bill of around 700 to 800 and happy all of sudden i have received SMS and emails from Vodafone that i have credit limit of Rs. 10,000 and utilised 8,000+ and to pay immediately to avoid discontinuation of service. i was shocked and started searching bill for last month and i found on myvodafone site my previous months bill is arount 6500 and and unbilled is around 1500+ which was unenviable. without informing customer vodafone is making loot to customer with high end mobile instruments.

                            I have a vodafone number [protected].. i recharged my number with Rs 201 roaming pack (as shown in their recharge plans chart for july) on 31st july at 11.30 am but neither did i receive any benefit nor any recharge was done...when i went to the dealer he checked and said the recharge was succesful so i called the customer care nd they are saying you will not receive any benefits as we do not have any such plan..nobody is helping me out at vodafone so i had to write this complaint..

I have recharged on 8th Dec 2008 at 10.30 night and today is 12th Dec'08. I have been following with Vodafone since 8th Dec but they are answering the same that "You have to wait for 24 hours". I am putting you on this complaint and hope it get resolved soon.

I chose 201 rupees full talk time 30 day validity option. I filled up the information, it redirected to YES BANK I filled up my customer ID and Password. I typed 201, clicked the only option, I got password SMS to my another number ([protected]) tagged with YES BANK account, I typed the password, did the transaction to Vodafone BILLDESK. I recieved confimation page with confirmation number (54508). My cell is not yet recharged. I rechecked by filling confirmation number and my cell number in vodafone site. It said id is invalid, even I called your cutomer care(111) 6 times. First agent told me to wait for 1 hour, 2 agent told me to wait for 24 hours, 3rd agent told me to half an hour to recheck it. 4th agent told me to wait for 2 hours that an update is going on, 5th agent told me to wait again, and told if recharge not done then ur money ll be taken back to my YES BANK account.

                            WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON TO REACHARGE JUST 201 rupees.

                            EITHER VODAFONE OR YES-BANK ONLINE THINGS ARE NOT WORKING WELL

                            Complaint no [protected], I recharged my no on line on 10 July for 351. your site mentioned that I will get full talk time of 351 rs. but I got only 318. I given my complaint to customer care they ensure me I will get money back in 24 hours. But I am still waiting for that. I called then three four times but they ensure every time that I will get money refund in 24 hours. I called them today again, now they are saying "sir, you got the correct amount, there is no such scheme on 351 recharge, it was there last month." And today I checked your site is also updated now. It was not updated on 10th of July when I recharged. I don't have evidence that your site was not updated on 10th of July and it was saying 351 rs for 351 recharge. But I have couple of question from you guys:
                            (1) Is 32 rs is so important for a customer that the customer will lie for the same.
                            (2) If it was a false complaint then why your representative Lodge the complaint and given me the complaint no by saying this is the fault from your site ?
                            (3) Also your guys are "happy to help" but I think not "ready to help"
                            (4) I am customer for vodafone from past 7 years having two vodafone no on my name. Is that the response I should expect from the vodafone ?

                            again the same question... why your care centre Lodge my complaint that time ? They were forced actually, since your site was not updated and mentioning that 351 rs for 351 recharge.

                            we have charged from our online recharged for Rs.200 vodafone prepaid to the Phone number[protected]).but it was changed by mistake from you to life long offer.I contact to customercare and he informed me to go to the nearest retailer, and I went to the nearest retailer just now, but he told me that there is no option to refund the money and there is no option to change it to talktime recharge.
                            I have already lifelong validity with me for 2015. So kindly change the amount to talktime recharge or refund the money today itself.

Dear sir at present when i hear after dialing 121 scheme clearly says that i[censored] recharge with 326 Rs. U will get 326 Amount and 15 voda-to-voda free minutes. I hear this scheme with my 3 company's colleagues . In this scheme i will get serv. tax and free call after 24 hours. But i havn't recvd .                               I would like to rechecked my bill... As my credit limit was sett at 1300 nad i have received a bill of rs.3687.28/-

                              Why do we sett credit limit? So that when our cell is missused by some application or virus we should atleast know or should be intimated through sms or call.

                              I have been charged for gprs... As in todays smart phones all the applications are automatically updated consumer cannot knw hw much internet is used or going to be used... When i have sett my credit limit to rs.1300 its your duty to informed me about the limit crossing beyond 1300...

                              I have received sms on 28th of this month intimating my credit limit is set to rs.3900/- but who told to increase the limit

                              As per the talk with miss zillahvas " its the loop whole we are helpless " thats what her statement was... But i am not going to suffer for your problem or loop whole

                                My self Mohinder Pal. I am a senior citizen 60 yrs old and my vodafone number is [protected] actually i decided to migrate my no prepaid into postpaid i was called to vodafone care and give request for migration of my no prepaid to postpaid and next day vodafone executive mr azad was came to my home for collection of my documents and 250/- rs. security. I have submitted all required documents and local reference number also. After 2 days i was called to mr azad for the activation of my number they said sir your no is activated but i m giving you the invalid sim card by mistake they said sir you can come on vodafone store at gurgaon and collect your sim card otherwise i will delivered your sim next day today is 4th day they were not come and giving me stupid excuses everyday. From last 4 to 5 days i am facing major problems. I Cant able to connect to customer care no 111 or 198 . My IVR is blocked i complaint many times there is no proper response and no one is listening my problem vodafone agents are not having helping tendency to customers.

                                I request you to please solve my problem as soon as possible and kindly initiate necessary disciplinary action against the company for causing the delay. if you are not able cooperate with us then i will complaint to consumer court or our nearest Police Station.

                                I have recently come to Mumbai on employment with IL&FS. The company gave me Vodaphone SIM No [protected] on 25 Jun 2008 which was activated on 27 Jun 2008. I was staying in a hotel at that time and therefore gave the hotel's address, however I gave the office address for my billing. By the time some one from Vodaphone came to verify my credentials, I had checked out of the office and hence my phone was temporarily disconnected after 48 hours. I promptly went to the Vodaphone office in Bandra & my phone was reconnected the next day. After 24 hours, the phone was again disconnected for the same reason namely verification of address. I again went to the Vodaphone office in Bandra and the phone was reconnected the next day only to be disconnected again after 24 hours. And the story goes on----. Is the Vodaphone service so poor that once a person is presenting herself at the office personally, they cannot rectify the mistake or have I made such a bad mistake by checking out of the hotel before the Vodaphone representative reached there that am being deprived of the phone services to me. Could Vodaphone management look into the affair so as not to harass a customers in such a way.

                                Vodafone — POST PAID SIM CAUSING TROUBLE

                                1. PLEASE REFER TO MY COMPLAINT WHICH I SENT ON 12 JUN 2008. IT SEEMS NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN ON THE COMPLAINT. WHAT IS THE POINT GIVING COMPLAINTS IF ACTION IS NOT TO BE TAKEN ON THEM. HOWEVER I AM ONCE AGAIN WRITING MY PREDICAMENT IN THE HOPE THAT SOME ACTION WOULD BE TAKEN ON THE SAME.
                                2. I have recently come to Mumbai on employment with IL&FS. The company gave me Vodaphone SIM No [protected] on 25 Jun 2008 which was activated on 27 Jun 2008. I was staying in a hotel at that time and therefore gave the hotel's address, however I gave the office address for billing. By the time some one from Vodaphone came to verify my credentials, I had checked out of the hotel and hence my phone was temporarily disconnected after 48 hours. I promptly went to the Vodaphone office in Bandra & my phone was reconnected the next day after almost 16 hrs. After 48 hours, the phone was again disconnected for the same reason namely verification of address. I again went to the Vodaphone office in Bandra and the phone was reconnected the next day after 13 hrs, only to be disconnected again after 48 hours. And the story goes on----. The phone has now been disconnected six times each time after 48 hrs of it being rectified. The last time it was disconnected temporarily was on Tuesday 22 Jul at 15 hrs and in spite of my ringing up the Bandra Vodaphone office it was not reconnected. I had to go to Belapur Vodaphone office on 23 Jul and the phone was finally reconnected by 1700 hrs on that day, ie after a gap of 27 hrs. I am sure that the phone will again be temporarily disconected after 48 hrs ie by about 26 Jul 08. Is the Vodaphone service so poor that once a person is presenting herself at the office personally, giving all the documents of residence proof and identity personally in the Vodaphone office, they cannot rectify the mistake. I am being made to feel that I made such a bad mistake by checking out of the hotel before the Vodaphone representative reached there that I am being deprived of the phone services to me. I wish my office could switch to Airtel or Idea etc to get better service. Could Vodaphone management look into the affair so as not to harass a customers in such a way.

                                Vodafone has regiustered the complain under REF:[protected]]
                                Vodafone didn't confirm to me on the recharging factor that every quarterly i have to recharge the sim for such services as life time validity plan so it's not a fault at my end.

                                As per vodafone they had sent an SMS before the deactivation of my sim but any SMS sent from Vodafones end should have been sent at the time of application of plan and not at the time when services were being deactivated.

                                So as for my end I am a customer who had no idea that this kind of recharge is necessary at the point of purchase of this plan hence there is no question of me being aware of this plan type.
                                Hence vodafone should not ask me for re submitting of documents and charges for activation of the card.

                                This is a sheer fault / mis selling of plan at vadafones end . Then it be a dealer or Vodafone agents for a customer it is Vodafone.

                                Please note -
                                - There will be no documents submitted from my end
                                - There will be no extra charge borne from my end
                                - I require the replacement of my card with the balance amount which was left in the card
                                - I require a justification why my complaint which was made on mid july went unanswered for one month and finallly again i had to make a email complaint on 29th August.

                                As i was 1st customer of BPL(perpaid) then HUTCH(prepaid) and afterwards vodafone(lifetime).
                                I lost my cell in pune in year 2010 and i was not able to take another cell.
                                So as i thought my number is lifetime but when i visited to vodafone center in pune they told me that your no. is not available on your name as i was lifetime member of vodafone also they have not intimated to me about my number to provinding to any other without my permision. i requested them but i didnt get my cell no. back.
                                As i was using since many years i am in need of my no.

                                so its my request to provide my cell no. back to me.
                                Also i am ready to pay any charges to get back.
                                so i will be thankful.

                                They(vodafone) called me from no. [protected] yesterday 12 in afternoon and said that wa are unable to provide the same number. I am not satisfied with the same the person called me was arguging & also he was not talking proper with me & said we are not able to provide you the same number.
                                i also requested that i was using since many years the SIM card but he told that there are some terms & conditions but while converting prepaid to lifetime they have not told me any such things
                                that number. i requested but i think they will not help me.


                                If you can help me please do the need ful.

                                i do not like this behaviour of vodafone and will always think about such a big company.

                                Vodafone — delay in migration to pre paid

                                Greetings for the day.

                                Iam Mr. N.V.S.N.K.Gupta.Uppala. using my mobile No. [protected] since last 4years provided by Vodafone Essar Ltd., as postpaid connection. I visited the Vodafone stores for six time from last 2months to migrate my vodafone post paid connection to prepaid. Even they are mis guiding me and still my problem was not solved. please suggest me how to proceed with my service provider when they are not responding to me. i'll submit my details below for future communication.

                                Vodafone Essar — No proper response

                                HI Everyone



                                I am putting across my feedback and views on Vodafone. There is no proper response to customers from customer care and even from vodafone store. The issue happened is i got a double talk time offer of 50Rs. So i recharged and waited till week of time. There is no exora balance added to my account. I called to customer care people and they said we dont have that information you need to walkin for vodafone store. I told i was very far from my place so take the request. They said we will take the request and see to that i will be added in 48 hrs. And later after 2 days i called another executive picked up the call and said we can help on phone you need to show the message to vodafone store people they will help. Finally i walked into vodafone store himayatnagar and there is only 2 person working to take the complaints and they didnot responded properly and said taken a note on their book we will mention in the system later as it is a busy time. See to that it will be added in 2 days. Again the same history beigns.


                                Why again and again i need to call to customer care and need to walkin to vodafone store. What is the work they are Doing for. IF they are not satisfied with their job try to incresase their salary or give more benifts to them .. this is for vodafone company iam requesting please see to that your employers are happy to work . Not like this no proper response .


                                How many times i need to go to vodafone store and ask about the double talktime offer. If you dont able to activate through systematically dont provide these blede offers to trap the customers.

                                And this is the third time i am putting vodafone into consumer complaints. Earlier i faced lot of problems from this post paid connection. Now again they are creating the same to me.

                                Other networks like Tata Docomo has an excellent customer service . They immediately respond on phone and see to that we gets all in time.

                                What wrong with this Vodafone. Try to make it better to satisfy the customers.

                                I am very dissatisfied with this vodafone. Not only me most of them ..


                                I hope you can understand the situation what it is..

                                said offer was not activated and later after repeated e-mails they do not rectify the mistake from their end and send legal notices.

                                      This is to inform you that i had sent the porting request on 27/07/2013 for changed network with idea cellular but it was not proceed from vodafone service. When i talked to customer care of vodafone about the same & asked him about the issue then he replied that your documents was yet not received. but i have already submitted the documents at that time in the store where i bought the sim.

                                      Porting process must be proceed within 7 days from porting request but i am still awaiting the same.

                                      My vodafone number is [protected] which was issued from DHANRAJ CHAKOLE. This is for your reference

                                      Now, Clear the same issue at the earliest & take immediate action,

                                        Dear Sir"s, I wish to inform you that most recently, ( over the past month ), everytime I have attempted to login. All the regular icons are available, on the left. During login procedure, a picture of a young girl ( between 18 - 25 ) appears on my laptop, asking for me to login to "chat". ( possible pornography sites ) I do not have any inclination to "login" to this type of site, I would be very grateful f you could remove it, or tell me how to cancel her from my screen. My grandchildren use my laptop, for there games, & I do not wish, for them to see this, when I open my laptop, Hopefully we can deal with this successfully. steve.[protected]@yahoo.co.uk
