I have applied for MNP for a month ago from Vodafone to Docomo.For the first time as it was failed I submitted the documents again.Unfortunately there is no response again.When I call to Docomo Customer Care ,they blame that Vodafone Company is not releasing your number.The same story with Voadfone CC.They too blame Docomo.The Gallery person is not at all concerned with these problems.His response is also too rude.I wasted a lot of my money in traveling to him as well as calling him .The following are the contact details of Gallery person:

    I recharge of rs. 651 for 3G unlimited internet data on 06.07.2013 but still my data speed is so poor. Then I call customer care again and again but finally I have no result and customer executive mahendra behave very badly and at this time when I call on customer care they put my no. In reject list.

    Vodafone — Filthy customer service of Vodafone

    Dear Sir,
    2.5 years back I have taken the Vodafone postpaid connection under MICO CUG plan. The Vodafone employee, who has given me the connection has cheated me. Under that plan two sims were given. I didn't know that. So that person had taken the sim and given it to someone else. After one year, I came to know about this thing when Vodafone sent me a mail to pay the due on that number.

    I have approached the nodal officer Mr. Ravi S through email and explained the situation. Asked to close that connection ASAP on Aug-2007 as it was something like an identity theft. From now on, I am frequently asking them to do the needful. But even after one year, they didn't take any action on this. When I call the customer care, there is no response from them. When I call the nodal officer, they immediately cut the line when I ask about this.

    The real problem is they are disconnecting my number for the due on the stolen number. Now could anybody help me this? How to washout the filth of Vodafone?

    Please suggest any solution for this.

    Vodafone — Poor Customer care, filthy services

    I got a citibank vodafone co branded credit card made upon numerous requests of a vodafone/citibank executive. I was told that the reward points are redeemable against vodafone bills. Now came my turn of making requests. i made a numerous requests to citibank for redemption of these points & everytime i was told that request has been rjected by Vodafone. When i call Vodafone, the ******** sitting at the customer care always tell that they are unable to help. 90% of the times system is down. 10% times they say that you visit vodafone store...If they dont even know the details then why the hell they are sitting there for...I have 5000 points in my card now & no listening at Vodafone...Can anybody help

    My name is sasikumar at kanya kumari dt. My mobile number is [protected]. that number is used in last 4 years. Now iam activate in vodafone live. My mobile handset number is Nokia 7610.     Vodafone — FAILURE TO EXECUTE PROMISES

    we have taken 25 connections under Rs.199 OPTION 2 UNLIMITED LOCAL CUG. They promised the limit will be locked at Rs.199 only. But we received some of the bills more than Rs. 500. Thats why we want to claim the excess paid amount by us from the promoter Mr.PRAMOD KUMAR.B [[protected]] who is the employee of vodfone. and due to unsatisfactory services we want cancel all the connections from [protected] to [protected] .

    Vodafone — about Recharge & customer response

    dear sir,
    This is Magesh from KRISHANGIRI Tamil Nadu from past one week my customer service has been bard and this is due to the incorrect customer response about the balance refund i recharged with internet pack 98 and this pack was not activated to my number [protected] when i call the customer care and ask about this they gave excuse for each call and always responding by giving fake excuse that they will activate the service and till now they is no response and they started taking balance of mine to minus and they bard the customer care line so kindly request u to take necessary action on this or else i will take legal action about this .........

    Vodafone — not responding

    Dear sir,
    i am the vodafone customer.But her services are not good .I called vodafone care but number is not working with your mobile.I put the port ,her because of i get good offer first time without informing they activate vodafone to vodafone per minute 40piase.After I told i don't want that offer please deactivate me but not responding and 2 days back vodafone to any network they charge even 1sec (or) 1 minute they charge Rs.1/- that time I called vodafone care in my mobile not working with this number i am facing this problem last 1month what can i do for please tell

    Its true and when I convert my vodafone no. Postpaid to prepid they take 2month and I call again and again they told that go to store and I go again and again but every time they took me a new sim . I give 4time of my id and after 2month and 18 days they converted my no. But I don.t receive my 3 ID. And who is responsible for my 3 ID.

      My name is Lalan Jha and i want to file a complaint against Vodafone Billing Dept. As they have been misleading me for past 3 months.
      I am a postpaid customer and My vodafone no. is [protected].

      A person name Pankaj chugh, mobile no.[protected], and collector id card no.H6633 from agency M/s. Hi-tek investigation services pvt ltd has visited me for payment of Rs.1000. i told him that vodafone is charging me extra bill than actual. So he said that, yes vodafone is charging more than actual bill in postpaid connections and i should pay him minimum 700 Rs. At lastly he compromises for Rs.500 for one condition that i should pay him extra Rs.100. I paid total of Rs.600 and said that my no. will activate withing 2 hours. After 24 hour my no. is activated and same day my no. again deactivated.


      so i call customer care and visited vodafone store too .They said that i have to pay more Rs.909 and to contact that particular agency for resolution and agency will provide you waiver letter and after that your no. will be activated .So i called agency for resolution of my complaint and they said that there is no. such waiver provided to you. And now i m confused what to do beacause i'have called almost everyone but i m not satisfied with the answer. From 17 may 2013 my mobile no. is deactivated and they continously calling me and sending mails regarding payment of bill.....

      Vodafone — Complaint Regarding My BIlling

      Hello,

      I am a vodafone customer since July'07. I always pay my bills before the due date.
      In my current month billing (i.e. bill for the month of june), there are some irregularities.
      In my itemised bill details, i found some international (ISD) calls mentioned which are NOT made by me for sure.
      These calls charges around Rs. 7200. Also, my unbilled amount for this month has gone upto Rs. 7400 probably for the same reason.
      I am not making these ISD calls from my sim. I talked to vodafone customer care and vodafone store (Vashi) for the same reason.
      They gave me a very unpleasent response and didn't registered any complaint as well.
      There might be a duplicate sim in use or calls from some other account might be transfered to my account.
      My sim is being used illegally by some person for making ISD calls.

      For the time being, i have blocked my sim services.
      Also, my credit limit is Rs. 2900, then how come can i make calls for approx Rs 15000 (billed+unbilled)??
      Why my outgoin calls were not restricted when i crossed my credit limit.

      Pls look into the matter urgently..it is surely a misuse of my sim.
      please release my incoming calls which your system have block. my out going call must be blocked once out calling charges increase more than 299+400= total 700 rupeess. mobile no [protected]

      Vodafone — Billing Complaint

      Hi, I am Shaman Jhaveri from Surat, Gujarat.
      for the month of May-08. I got my details bill with details showing that i have done 53 MMS on 20/05/08 @ 15:51:30. All @ the same time & same date & also no number shown that on which mobile the MMS is done,
      On calling the customer care & also by visiting the Vodafne store no proper answer given to me.

      So kindly let me know that how to get refund of that amonunt & also where to lodge complaint.

      Hi Aditya,

      I also had the same problem as yours. I had converted my vodafone connection to postpaid from prepaid 6 months back and my bill was coming in a normal amount regularly I was paying the same on time. But for the month of July it came around Rs 3900 with approx Rs 2500 of ISD calls made on one singled day i.e. 13th August which indeed was not made by me anyway. I registered complaint but with no effect and the Customer Care Executive told me that my phone was infected with virus hence the call was made automatically on that day. With no help or solution from anywhere I was compelled to pay the entirety of my bill and went to a Vodafone Store nearby and applied for a prepaid again which got activated soon. I was really upset with the postpaid services of Vodafone and the customer is the scapegoat and has to pay whatever they come up with the bill. So I suggest you also go for prepaid instead of the pathetic postpaid plan where ISD call charges are billed against you even if you do not make a single ISD call.

      I have a vodafone prepaid connection for last 1 yr, I requested for migration from prepaid to postpaid...all the formalities are done from your side, i also recieved new SIM but till now is not been activated...i had spoked to Customer care department so many times but they are not willing to help me...

      I am realy facing a big problem as my prepaid connection is disconnected and post paid is not activated.

      Your Customer care department is of no use they rather misguide.

      I think your services were excellent when it was hutch but when vodafone tookover it became horrible.

      I was using my vadafone number [protected] till June and somhow my phone was lost . My credit limit was 1000. iafter trying my number many times i stopprd it . but i was out of city so it took about 4 days. and i mooved another place and i am very much sure that my bill was not more than 700 then so i m sure i wasnt missused badly. but now i want to know how much my actual overall bill still dont know how much damage has been done .       dear sir
      i have complaint against the vodafone telecome regarding the bill. i am the user of this company from last 2 year. or i had used the 2 number.always i paid my mobile bill on time. as per according to the all month in augest month i also pay my mobile bills on 22 augest 2009.the company bill collection person collect it from me on this date. and i had take a reciept of payment from him.and after the two days once again the company bill collection person take the bill of my mobile from my home.and on 26 my both mobile outgoing service is barred due to unpaid bill. that i paid my billes 2 time and the company barred my service due to unpaid of bill.i also show my these reciept to vodafone store or he send it via mail to there seniour.and after the 20 days my outgoing service is activate on 15 september.or the company again send me the bill of my barred number.these are my bussiness number.i had mentally harassment or bussiness losse. and now i am asking who is the responsible for it. and now the company customer care executive daily call my for the bill.
      and now plez tell me is it fair that i paid the bill 2 times or the company barred my service or again the company call me for the bill.or his executive way of talking is very cheap they called me daily for which i have problem but nobody is sorted my problem.

        Dear Sir,

        I would like to bring to your kind notice that Vodafone Mobile Services Ltd. has issued 8 extra illegal mobile connections in different names misusing my ID Card whereas I am the original subscriber of mobile connection No. [protected] provided to me on August 2012 against my ID card. They have illegally provided 8 connections and disconnected my mobile phone from 28 May, 2013 without giving any prior intimation to me.

        I visited the outlet of Vodafone Store (Punjabi Bagh) to know exactly what the reason was for the disconnection. So I met the Manager, Mr. Sachin Verma (E-mail ID sachin.verma [protected]@vodafone.com).To my query the answer given to me was that nine (9) connections (one my connection and 8 extra illegal connections) have already been provided. Therefore, he said, my mobile connection has been disconnected on the basis of multiple connection. I told him I have applied for only one connection and from where these extra 8 illegal connections did come? He further told me that if I contact Vodafone Customer Care they will be able to tell me more in detail.

        He further informed me that I can not take any new Vodafone connection number on my ID. Instead I may take new connection number based on any of family member’s ID because I am not able to take Vodafone connection permanently due to the fault of multiple connection.

        In this connection I have sent 2-3 messages on E-mail ID: (vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com) from my E-mail ID : [protected]@yahoo.com detailing the whole story and requesting them to cancel the 8 extra illegal connections immediately and activate my above mentioned number at the earliest. But they have expressed their inability to provide any information as they mentioned to me that my E-mail ID is not registered with Vodafone. Moreover, the information I am asking from them is very much confidential which they can not share with unregistered subscriber.

        I would, therefore, request you to kindly take stringent action against Vodafone as they themselves have illegally issued 8 extra connections in my name. Not only that the subscribers will use the mobile phone for any purpose they wish. You may also ask the Vodafone mobile service providers that how they issued 8 extra illegal connections against a single ID proof and that also within a period of 8-9 months. As far as I know mobile connection is given one connection on one ID proof basis. Here in this case 8 illegal connections in my name on a single ID proof. I have never applied for eight connections. If I am guilty in the matter I am ready to face any consequence legally. It is a serious matter and should be dealt with sternly.

        vodafone,cell — connection not given

        i bought vodafone mobile fone in the last month which is cost about rs.1800, i submitted all the identity proofs for the 3 times, but the company not given outgoing calls, and also said, that there is no problem in identity proofs, but they did not give outgoing calls fecility.

        why because ,i bought that mobile, they give 1800 minutes free vodafone to vodafone, i and my brother having vodafone mobiles, thatswhy i bought that mobile and present to my sister,till this date only this mobie is working for incoming, but not outgoing,

        please feel my problem and give suggestion to me.

        Vodafone India — New connection

        I applied for a new mobile connection at Vodafone shop Sector - 18 NOIDA on 31 Jan 2008. I filled Customer Agreement Form (No[protected]. On the same form the company allotted me mobile telephone no [protected]. After taking my identification document and a photograph, the company official gave me a copy of the abovementioned form and told me that the connection would be activated in 5 to 24 hours. However this didnt happen. I kept on talking to the Customer Care Deptt on phone to inquire about the activation of the connection. As I didnt get any satisfactory answer I again went to the same Vodafone shop on 3rd Feb 2008. There I was told that the said mobile number has been given to somebody else and therfore I will have to take some other number. After a lot of argumets I had to agree to fill another Customer Agreement Form ( No[protected] and submit to them.them. I was then given the number [protected] on that form. The number has been since activated.
        The omission of the company has following fallouts:
        (a) I had already printed business cards indicating earliar mobile number.
        (b) My documents including the photograph were not returned and I have my apprehension that those could be used wrongfully and I may therefore have to face the consequences later in future.
        (c) My trips to company shop, interaction with customer care reps have caused mental stress.
        I would therefore request the company to assure me that my identification documents are in no way wrongfully used which may put me in trouble or cause financial loss at a later date.

        Vodafone — INTERNET CONNECTION IN MY MOBILE

        i have not yet got internet connection activated in my mobile yet whereas i receive messages from vodafone customer care that We would like to confirm that as per your request your services has been refereshed for Vodafone Mobile Connect 199 at a monthly rental of Rs 199 on your Vodafone Number [protected].
        i gave the first email for internet services on 11th AUG'08. In the mean time received calls for my handset model no etc but till date, didnt get it activated, some engineer is still busy in writing steps for procedure of internet connectivity.

        all i would say worst services a vodafone offers.

        New connection — Illegal New Connection

        Dear Sir, H.NO. 12-2-298, Murad Nagar stands as only one house under the name of Sri Moujdar Khan, then how comes Electricity dept issue new meters under the name of Sri Abeed Khan and Sri Osman Khan? As per RTI act could you please justify and clarify the documents submitted to obtain new connection?

        Vodafone — Services provided for my mobile phone

        This is a complaint against the vodafone mobile phone services. Please check my scenario which I have mentioned & if you can, please provide me a solution.

        Actually I was using a mobile phone number [protected] for 1 sometime. Around 6-9 months back, I called up customer services, asking them that I need another phone number & they gave me another number [protected]. First of all, the person I spoke quoted the wrong price & when I recieved the welcome letter from vodafone, the prices that i was being charged were more than what I was promised. I called customer care & they said they cannot help me in this case. I ignored that thing & accepted the prices.

        After a month, I recieve a bill from vodafone for [protected] in the amount of Rs. 200.00, I go online to pay this bill & when I logged on to vodafone site, it tells me that the number is registered under someone else name(Mr. Narender). I call up customer care & am told to login after 24 hours & the details will be updated. I said fine, I'll Pay after 24 hours. After 24 hours when i login to website to pay the bill again, i get the same thing. The number is still registered under the same name (Mr. Narender). I again call up customer care & was told same thing to login after 24 hours. Again I login after 24 hours & get the same thing that the number is still under the same name(Mr. Narender). This same procedure happened with me for 7-10 time. Everytime i tried to pay the bill, the same thing happened.

        In the meantime the due date passed & i was not able to pay & vodafone started charging me the late fee. I again called up customer care & was told that the late fee will be reversed & i will be able to pay online after 24 hours & I will find that the number will be registered under my name, I tried after 24 hours & nothing was changed. I called up customer care that nothing has happened yet & please get the changes made, so that I can start using my number [protected] because you have barred my services. They again said the same thing that i should try after 24 hours.

        After 24 hours when nothing happened, I was totally fed up & i gave up. I stopped using that number & bought another phone.

        In the meantime, i kept recieving the calls from vodafone telling me to pay the bill & everytime they called, I told them my problem & everytime they said to try after 24 hours; wheras after 24 hours nothing happened.

        Now after 6 months, I find that the services to my other number([protected]) have also been barred & when i called customer care, I was told that since you never made the payment for your other number, the services to this number have been barred.

        I really got frustrated & made a payment of $595.00 which included the late fees & penalties. Now when I call customer care, informing that i have made the payment for the number [protected] & please unbarr my services, I'am being told that the other number is still under the name of Mr. Narender & they had some balance & the amount I paid has been credited to their account & in case I want to resume my services, I need to pay another Rs. 800.00.

        Please advise as to what am I suppose to do in this case.I can be contacted on my other phone number [protected].

        Vodafone — disconnecting phone illegally

        My Phone is post-paid with credit limit of Rs.2500/- the bill date was 2th June 2009. which was paid on 12th June by card payment at vasai(w) vodafone store.The same was not updated on 15h June 2009 and the phone was disconnected even though the bill is paid.Out going and Incoming both disconnected without any information by vodafone. HOW THE CONNECTION WAS CLOSED? ON WHAT GROUNDS?

        During this when people contacted me, then it was connected to some other number [protected].HOW DID IT HAPPNED?

        These are my following emails in place of a complaint ---- > This the mail i sent to vodafone -----> This in regards with my Vodafone number **********, I have been with this service since orange till date , almost a year ago approx. i changed my prepaid service to post pay , now due to personal reasons I changed back to prepaid on the 26th Nov , I submitted my Doc. once again as suggested by the Vodafone customer care agent for a while all was well , lets say for a week or so my services were just fine , then suddenly my services got barred incoming / outgoing , I rushed back to the vodafone store where I submitted my doc. I spoke to a rep. of vodafone there named Anupam , he said that we don’t have any idea where your doc . Are and are unable to track it, fine after a long argument he got my services started again, I confirmed with this guy 3 times if this was temp. He said no SIR. Ok fine I went after a week or so once again the same thing happened with my services I came back to the Vodafone store and was very angry, I spoke to a vodafone rep. Mustakim... (cannot spell his name) he got me more angry I told him my query, instead of calming me down he said " What Can I do, Sir" i got more irate, your people have no courtesy at all, no ownership at all, after a long argument he asked me to submit my doc. once again, again I had no other choice but to submit my doc. again, this is ridicules, anyways your rep. said the same and assured of it. Again after a week or so, my services got barred, this time I wan damn angry , your people don’t even want to be courteous , no ownership nothing , in fact the guy Mustakim who earlier I submitted my doc. This time I spoke to another rep. but he was so blank, because this time he had to words to assist me because for once you could make out that yes you’ll were in fault. Mr.Mustakim the great acted liked nothing happened at all and he this what he said “where SIR your services are still active (after he activating my services from the managers cabin, the rep. who was assisting had seen and confirmed with me that the services had been barred, either they are not working for Vodafone or Vodafone have employed all liars. I also had to resubmitted my Doc. The 3rd time . This Vodafone Store is at HYPERCITY MALL AT MALAD NEXT TO INORBIT.

        Kevin Clive Ferreira My Second email -------> This in regards with my Vodafone number ************, I have been with this service since orange till date , this is not the first unhappy experience with Vodafone , i got back to post pay once again as for some reason i find your pre-paid too expensive , so i went to a mini store at malad w evershine , your guy was all entu. to help me get to post pay , WOW that's nothing new with indians on the time of sale they will be like so nice and good with you but time to services very much not promising i must say , so we go once again ......... i take the 199 plan with a add on of 49 monthly to one special number which I can talk unlimited , however your back end dept. who submitted my doc. activated a Fnf plan for 15p to that one special number, now the name of your rep. at the vodafone store is Rajendra (don't know how is name is spelt , yea but that's his name for sure) , now he acts all helpful , but his help is of no use at all
        he assures me that i will get my reversal on my second bill which i did not , he say's he did inform his TL , now when my second bill comes the reversal is not done I AGAIN GO BACK TO THE MINI STORE which is of no help as the guy is not there , some other rep. was there but of no use as he says he's unaware of what the other rep. promised me about the reversal and also the TL forgot to do the reversal.......... Let me tell you all YOU ALL ARE BIG TIME THIEVES ............... if this persists i am going to the CONSUMER COURT TO SUE VODAFONE............. :|

        Vodafone — non provision of Connection

        MAS Callnet India Pvt Ltd, Okhala, New Delhi the tele marketing associate of Vodafone, collected from me Rs. 250/- for number portability and a new post paid vodafone connectioion on 13.06.2011.M/s.MAS CAllnet India Pvt Ltd.issued their Receipt No.MAS/10325 dated 13.06.2011 for the cash collected and told the connection will be activated in 3-4 days after verification of address/ ID, for which they have collected documents from me.

        Now after 10 days the connection is not activated. Nobody is giving the status updation.Even Vodafone customer care is saying that they have NO INFORMATIOM. The only contact number of MAS Callnet is[protected] and from there the only answer is that they will arrange a CALL BACK within 2 HRS. But even after days NO CONFIRMATION.

        Prior to collection of payment, they were contacting fromNos.[protected], 610,626 & 628.

        My request is to direct the concerned to confirm the connection or RETURN the payment collected and DONT CHEAT CUSTOMERS.

        On 13.08.2011, I converted my postpaid mobile number to prepaid.

        After receipt of all my KYC papers, the concerned executive of Vodafone Gallery at Dombivali West asked me to pay the uptodate Post-PAID bill of Rs.1200/- and also asked me to pay Rs.408/- (Rs.29/- for new SIM card+Rs.29/- for acess fee Rs.16/- and Talktime Rs.10/-+service tax and Rs. 350/- for recharge).
        I regret to state that till date the SIM is not activated. Receipt No. HSD/11-12/SP01/10866 dated 13.08.2011 against CS/9797 dated 13.08.2011.
        I called up [protected] and one Mr. Anil Warudkar attended my call. However, instead of solving my problem he asked me to visit Vodafone Gallery again.
        This is nothing but waste of time for the customer.

          Dear martin pieters,

          This is with reference to my number [protected]. When i had bought the number from a vodafone executive in mumbai in early march 2013, i was told by the vodafone executive on the call that their would be no roaming charges for this number if i activate the family and friends 49 plan under which i could talk on my mobile number [protected] at no extra cost.

          I was even told that since the number [protected] would be a mumbai circle number, eve if it moves out of mumbai i want be charged roaming on it as it activated with the family and friends 49 plan.in the bill that i got on march 16th 2013 i could see that rs. 777 of roaming charges were charged all for calls made to number [protected] for which i had activated the family and friends 49 plan. Immediately on 19th march i had put the following mail to vodafone mumbai office

          I have the following 2 numbers:
          [protected] and [protected].
          I had activated a special plan through which 1 number was free to me from the other number and vice versa.
          [protected] was used from mumbai whereas [protected] was used from nasik.
          While taking the number [protected], i had specifically asked if for this number there will be roaming charges applicable if the user is oeprating from outside mumbai but from within maharashtra. I was told no, both incoming and outgoing would be free for the user to this number [protected].
          When i got the bill for [protected], out of a total value of 1036, i was charges a total of 777 as roaming charges.
          Staying by what was promised to me, i refuse to pay the roaming charges.
          I have also made a request for cancellation of this number [protected].
          Please do not make promises you can't keep. Very disheatening service from vodafone.

          To this mail i got an auto reply message from vodafone. I never received any reply from vodafone but directly received the bill for the next month which has rs. 352 as roaming charges. Then finally on may 4th i got the following reply from vodafone:

          Dear mr. Naphade,

          Thank you for your email dated 02/05/13, regarding roaming charges for the vodafone mobile number [protected].

          We regret for the inconvenience caused to you.

          We tried contacting your on your vodafone mobile number [protected] and alternate contact number [protected], however were unable to reach to you.

          Further, we wish to inform you that we have checked your bill dated 07/03/13 and confirm that charges of rs. 777 towards roaming charges levied in your bill are indeed accurate and correct. Hence, we are unable to reverse the same.

          Also, we confirm that above mentioned vodafone number has been disconnected, effective 20/03/13.

          Additionally, we would like to inform you that in [protected]@0 pack you does not receive benefit of free calling on other circle number. On above mentioned pack you receive free benefit only on mumbai circle local vodafone number [protected].

          Since your number [protected] moves out of mumbai circle, you have not got the benefit of [protected]@0 pack and charged for roaming charges.

          I have since then asked vodafone to revert with an updated bill cancelling the roaming charges as they have been incorrectly charged. I havent received any updated bill as yet.

          On july 13th i got the following mail telling me that a legal action would be taken against me for not paying the bill.

          My uncle purchased a vodafone billing no. from the vodafone store in chembur naka. They done activation after 2 days then the no is worked for 2-3days then I have given this number to my relatives. After that there is a message come from the vodafone customer service centre, " that you are residence area is a having a negative mark" therefore you should have to give the deposit as security deposit, next day the line has been disconnected. I gone to vodafone store in Chembur Naka paid the the amount through my sons credit card of Rs 350/- (they took the amount Rs350/- as security deposit, but in the message they told me to pay Rs.500/- as security deposit). They told me that the number will start in next 2 hours. Afetr 2 hours I check the Sim card it shows " Sim card Registration failed" I check the Sim Card next day it shows " Sim card Registration failed". I wait for 2-3 days that they will activate my card. After that also my card was not working then I call to vodafone customer care (111) they told me that didn't get my any payment regarding this number. After that I gone to vodafone store to make the complaint about this number they activated the numbers in 10-15minutes. After 2 days the number shows " Sim card Registration failed". I have gone to vodafone store, they told me that they want the bank statement for the activation of my account. after 2 days I gone with bank account details, they are telling that you can't get the billing account. For billing account you should get salary Rs10, 000/- minimum. If they are giving billing Sim Card then they should ask before the simcard purchased.I & my uncle got lots problem from this simcard
          My uncle already using a Dolphin Billing Sim Card For last 3- 4 years because of network problem they want to take other company simcard.

          Vodafone - Mobile postpaid — Incorrect billing

          I had a plan of Rs. 299 per month taken in 2008 Jan. I opted for additional STD package of Rs. 31 per month which told that all STD calls will be charged @re. 1 per min.

          I noticed in 2009 Dec that the bills are exhorbitantly exaggerated.

          When I contacted the Nodal Officer of Vodaphone, I got answer that the plan was to charge Rs. 2.40 per min for STD calls and once the Rs. 299 free limit is reached then the Rs. 31 STD plan takes over. This contention is utterly wrong as the STD package of Rs 31 per month clearly states 'ALL STD CALLS' and not after a particular limit.

          Kindly take necessary steps to rectify this and get all bills rerated and return excess amount I have paid.

          Vodafone — Incorrect charge

          Hi, this Praneeth.My mobile number is [protected]. This is regarding the balance depletion of 45 Rupees. Actually I've received a link on my mobile as "View the Holly wood Hotties and download Wallpapers" and there is nothing mentioned about the the charges if I click on that link and casually when I receive any link I'll check it, in the same manner I've clicked on that the next view I've seen that "You've subscribed to download unlimited wall papers for 24Hrs" and in the next moment the browser automatically got closed due to my negative balance. I was shocked by seeing this and when called to the customer care to complain about this they are not at all responding properly and giving silly reasons like " we'll definately mention the price on the link, If they they mention the price why will I click on that and when I've asked to take a complaint for this they simply saying know and then asked to escalate the call to superior for that they kept me on hold for 26 Minutes and they disconnected the call and after that when I'm trying to call to CC not being connected to any agent, only the IVR repeating about the same stories about offers. Please help me out problem. I need my balance should be refund. Please please help me.

          My wife a new Vodafone postpaid connection today. However, on activation the number that has been mapped to the SIM card provided is different from the one that was alloted. The Customer Care also is of no use as they are a pathetic lot and seem to have been put on the job without proper training. Their knowledge base is at best ZERO. One even had the cheek to tell my wife, in a very aggrogant tone, to go and make a police complaint. He goes by the name of Bhavin.

          My wife got the number after waiting for 1 and a half hour in the Vodafone shop at Churchgate. In between the executive left my wife unattended for 15 minutes.

          It's a bane when the private sector behaves in a manner that is not customer friendly.

          My name is Sandip Gupta and my vodafone no. is [protected], I have been a loyal customer of vodafone for more then 3 year including 2 years of postpaid connection on same number. But now I have lost all faith in the company itself.
          Let me tell u my story, i have most of the time paid my bills on time but once i was upset with the high call rates thus decided to talk to the customer to find out some solution but i was given no option other then to change my service provider they said that you can only discontinue the vodafone services after your billing cycle is complete. If the executive on the phone wanted to help then he would sent me the final bill..... but dint just trying retain me. Then I tried not to pay my bills and get disconnected but instead they added the charges on the second bill with new date to pay charges. So i planned to pay my bills before the new last payment day. But I surprised to see that i have been getting messages to pay my bills before i make a call which is very annoying...... so if vodafone wants to disconnect me it should have done in case of first non-payment, why continue to give service with NEW payment date???
          AND if given a new date for payment why being harrased...... thus I am very upset with the services and I want a full and final bill for my postpaid services.......
          Not only that they charged me Rs. 120 for some downloading sevices (not as late fine or something) and a I am simpleton, I use a simple phone with no multimedia features how can i download something???(This has never happened earlier)
          All i want is to get my final bill as soon as possible (dont want to wait for billing date) and conversion of the number back to prepaid account as I want to retain the number as its is very important or I will have to resort to not paying the bills.

          I dont want speak to any customer care executive as they just delay action and do nothing about the problem.

          Vodafone — Incorrect Billing and no action on complaints

          I received an access Rs. 385 in my October-November 2010 bill, billed for Vodafone Live! services which I do not use. I went to customer care center and they checked in my account that I have not activated these services indeed, and told me that I will be hearing from Vodafone by 25th November.
          On 28th, I called Vodafone to get the status on my complain and they tell me that the charges have not been waived.

          Why? No expaination.

          In the 4 months that I have been a Vodafone customer, I have visited Customer Care center (Madhapur) 12 times. Each and every time has been a miserable disappointment.

          If I call 198, they ask me to call 111. If i call 111, they ask me to call 198. If I go to Customer Care Centre, they simply dont care.

          vodafone-postpaid mobile — undue charges billed

          I am in receipt of my vodafone mobile -postpaid no.[protected],for period 18/11/2010 to 17/12/2010,bill is showing charges of Rs.99/ being special promotion charges-details of which not furnished,further Rs.99/ have been charged for downloads-this facility I have never availed during the period,company to correct bill and inform correct amount to be paid by me.Rajeev Verma

          Vodafone — Inaccurate billing

          I have a vodafone number which has no facility of internet on it. I use a Wi-fi service at home from MTNL. Any website opened on my phone using MTNL wifi service has been additonally charegd by vodafone also. A service I am paying for seperately to MTNL. A service which vodafone is not providing me. This is a serious issue. Additonally their 111 service which they charge you for, doesnt give you an option to speak to an executive. Thus a troubled customer has not option but to bear this inconvienience. Their executives at their vodafone centres also refused to take a complaint.

          All you vodafone users please check your bills thoroughly.

          I have been cheated in vodafone postpaid billing.
          I had vodafone prepaid number and I was using most of the services of vodafone. I used internet services of vodafome over a year. I use to use the internet service on my mobile handset as well on my pc without any extra charge. Last month I converted my number to postpaid and activated the internet service. I was informed that I will get 1 gb of data usage on my mobile on my pc as well.For the first month the was never sent and on second month when I asked for the bill then only it was sent. I was charge extra for using the internet on my pc.
          For second month it was rs 166 extra charge when I used least internet on pc. For second month it is still yet to come and I used internet on pc and expecting a big amount of extra charge when I contact the support they didn't responded.
          Please do justice with my case.

          Vodafone mobile — incorrect billing

          I was a vodofone post paid costomer for almost 6-7 years and was reagular at bill payments...This service was used by my brother Sameer Tawari
          Firstly...
          Around a year ago i was given a STD pack of Rs 150 per month and was told that its a trial pack for a month. I was not told it will continue. The same time i had informed the customer care lady that i do not want it next month and make sure it will be cancelled. but it was not done..
          I dont have the habit of checking my bills.. I just simply pay it..
          When I realised that i am being billed almost 7-8 months for that pack when i was not using it much and I was under imression that it ios no more active.
          I informed the same to customer care but nobody bothered to look into it as the main intension of vodafone is always to rob their customers. I can get atleast 100 such victims infront of you.
          Secondly...
          I had asked to change my tarrif plan to min plan but that was also not done since 13-14 months and they always gave some stuid reasons.

          Hence finally I stopped paying the bill and warned them that if they do not change plan+ cancel std pack and re-rate my bills for last 7-8 months I will not make payments. But the vodafone supervisor who called me informed that they will not do anything of it and will take action.

          I request you to ask vodafone for the recordings of all calls made by me to customer careso that it can be challenged further..
          In such case for getting me into such problems and making me lose my mobile number which was mine for last 7 years, i request a 100% comensation from vodafone.

            Its regarding a false bill that i have received from Vodafone. I was actually called by a number saying that My number has been selected by Vodafone for providing free dongle. I was asked for my choice and i told if its absolutely free then i would take it. so they sent one of his executive to my office address and that person handed over me one dongle having a Vodafone SIM already inside. No documents were demanded that time as i am already using Vodafone postpaid connection for last 1.5 yrs. I used that dongle for hardly 3-4 days for surfing some websites. But i got a call from them and they told me some plans regarding 3G. But i denied their request. I also stopped using my dongle after that. After some days i started getting call from Vodafone regarding payment of Bill. I was shocked about knowing the Bill which was told 400 something that time. i told them that i am not going to pay the Bill. but they did not stop calling me and they keep on calling. two days before again i got a call and they are saying now that my Bill amount is 1000 rs. I am shocked about knowing the amount. this amount they are charging for that dongle which they have provided me free of cost and that i used for hardly three days.
            Request you to please help me out in this case and assist me to get rid of this unwanted situation.

            I have taken this connection 2 months back. In the first month (SEP) bill I could see 14 ISD messages were sent from my mobile to some numbers ( which is not valid). And I have called customer care people and told them I never messaged to any ISD. Then no one showed up.
            Then next, onth bill created, I was out of town for 20 days (dewali vacation), again the bill has been generated (OCT bill) and again in that bill same 14 ISD messages. I could prove with my flight tickets I was not in HYD on those days, which was shown in bills ISD message has been sent and my mobile has been switched off for those 20 days. I could see the bill has ISD message which shown as sent on those days, when I was in out of AP. I could prove my mobile has been switched off and I was out of AP on those days. If I could send those message it should send by other state tower.
            Actually my first bill(SEP bill) has been sent to some other incorrect email id. I have updated my email Id as per customer care instruction and I have got the message also your email id has been updated on OCT month.
            Again Oct bill has sent to same prior incorrcet email id. Do you think I dont have any other work other than asking duplicate bill every time. Again I have updated Nov.
            I have called customer care and explained everything and ty told they would forward to their manager, and ring was going for 5 mins. No body picked it up. I have raised this ISD message complaint twice to customer care people, next time they are telling no complaint registered. I want to register this complaint and I wanna file case in consumer court for these services and false billing.
            I need reply in return email. Not over phone call.

                Vodafone — Unjustified billing from Vodafone

                Dear Sir,

                I came to know about this helpline from one of my friend. I seek your help for wrong bill amount reversal from Vodafone.

                Details are here under –

                1. I am a salaried person, working in Siemens Limited, Kalwa (Thane) and using Vodafone services for last two years (Earlier Hutch).

                2. I have taken CUG 449 plan on 11-Jul-2006. I was paying additional Rs 49/- per month for STD tariff @ Rs. 1.0/- per minutes. For further details, please refer enclosure 499-Plan

                3. In Jan-07, the service provider (HUTCH) has migrated me to CUG150 (STD @ Rs. 2.25/- per minute), without my consent. Plan enclosed for your reference. (refer 150.doc)

                4. I didn’t notice the wrong billing because the bill payment was directly through my ICICI Bank credit card.

                5. After taking up with Vodafone and repeatedly following up with them, finally at their own request I have requested Vodafone to change my plan from CUG150 to OAM 299 (STD @Rs 1.0 per minute) from Nov-07 and and also insisted that Vodafone refund the money after adjusting the previous bill mistakes. However no corrective action was taken by Vodafone. Neither did they change my plan nor have they refunded any money.

                6. After my rigorous follow-ups, in Feb-2008, Vodafone eventually accepted their mistake and migrated me to CUG199+ plan (suggested by Vodafone again). Vodafone also reversed wrongly billed amounts for the bills from Oct-07 to Feb-08.

                7. Now since last 5 months, I am continuously following up with Vodafone for wrong bill amount reversal for bills between Jan-07 to Oct-07 (~ Rs 6000/-), but all in vain. I have also personally visited their office at Manpada Thane, but to no effect.

                8. It seems or rather it is obvious that Vodafone is taking customers for granted. Also on the phone when I talk to them they behave very indifferently and with an attitude that clearly reveals that they fell they cannot be touched by any customer.



                Please help me to get the matter resolved. I look forward to you to help me get justice in the matter.

                  my complaint is on net service of vodafonelive, it has been activated from your side but i can't use the facility please help out me from this problem early, because i want to use this service.

                  Vodafone — connectivity is not proper

                  Vodafone service in goa becaome very poor from last two months or may be more, there is always connectivity problem phone gets cut in betweeen while talking. My office is in kakoda goa i cannot get clear signals in my office now a days otherside person cannot hear me if i talk from my office i have to come out and talk, even than the phone cuts while talking or range gose in between. Same problem i face many places. I am staying at Margao Ambajim the same problem i face i cannot talk from my house as i am not getting signal in my house i use to come out and talk even than same problem i face now a days, other companies like Idea, BSNL i had checked at my home and even in factory are working well.
                  I want to switch over to either of the companies soon but i even advide other not to go fro vodafone.
                  We had taken 15 post paid connections of plan Corp Super Saver 199 mobile nos.from [protected] to 74.
                  It was discussed by ur vodafone representative Shri Gyanendra Singh (Business Manager:Galaxzee Marketing Services) that the calls within Maharashtra will be considered as local calls only.
                  But our members at Satara, Kasara, Lonavala etc within the group connection are unable to make calls since calls have been charged with roaming.
                  To top the above, the mails that we have mailed to the above mentioned representative and to [protected]@yahoo.com have been unattended and the calls made to him are bein disconnected.
                  Hopefully our grievences will get solved otherwise we are not interested in continuing your services ne mre.

                  I am Vodafone card user since more than seven (7) years.
                  Recently my service provided by vodafone has been stopped that is if anyone calls me up than i wasnt able to view the number as who is calling.
                  So, I called up the customer care and i was told to submit the documents as per the rules of DOT.
                  I submitted the documents to the nearest vodafone store and then i was said by the person taking the documents that my service would be started in just 4 hours.
                  But then till 24 hours my service didn't start up and I again calld the customer care and i was told that the service to start requires a time period of atleast 48hours. So then I waited but still after 48 hours my service didn't start up. Again i called the customer care and then he lodged a complaint upon my request and after much discussion and then was told to confirm again with the nearest Vodafone store that are my documents needed to be sent again???

                  This is a really bad service provided by vodafone.

                    i got a service msg to my no.on 8/10/08 & i openned it. i did not download anything 4m it. i pressed exit in almost 2 secs after opening it. the next time when i made a call, i was told i was running low on my balance. i called up customer care, i was told i had opened a service msg & so 99rs was charged, i was not happy, then i talked to a manager and my call was abruptly cut. my Q is,
                    1) is it not natural for me to open a msg i recieve in my cell.
                    2) and is it not really unfair o[censored] to charge me for merely opening a msg that i didn't ask u to send.
                    3) y is it that i was not informed after i was charged, like u inform me after every call i make or every msg i send, even though u hv previously informed me thru ur tariffs.

                    I did online recharge using your http://www.vodafone.in/Pages/index.aspx site to [protected] ...I have selected Karnataka (which is correct) and YES BANK. I chose 201 rupees full talk time 30 day validity option. I filled up the information, it redirected to YES BANK I filled up my customer ID and Password. I typed 201, clicked the only option, I got password SMS to my another number ([protected]) tagged with YES BANK account, I typed the password, did the transaction to Vodafone BILLDESK. I recieved confimation page with confirmation number (54508). My cell is not yet recharged. I rechecked by filling confirmation number and my cell number in vodafone site. It said id is invalid, even I called your cutomer care(111) 6 times. First agent told me to wait for 1 hour, 2 agent told me to wait for 24 hours, 3rd agent told me to half an hour to recheck it. 4th agent told me to wait for 2 hours that an update is going on, 5th agent told me to wait again, and told if recharge not done then ur money ll be taken back to my YES BANK account.

                    WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON TO REACHARGE JUST 201 rupees.

                      Vodafone — Regarding the Bill Payment

                      Hi,

                      The payment for July was made on July 22, 2010, but then also the payment was stated as pending and included in the August Month's Bill as payment pending with the late payment charges.

                      For that also produced and faxed the bank statement stating the payment has been done to vodafone on 66661200 twice, first on 12th August, 2010 and then on 20th August, 2010.

                      But after calling repeatedly to the Call Center there is no provision to register the complaint. As the fault was on there side after confirmation of the fax received from Vodafone, not a single executive updated us that the payment has been updated. We had to take inititative and call the call center 121 to ask the status but of no avail. The executive informed that it is still showing pending, so kindly resend the same asap to avoid the late payment charges for this month i.e. for August also.

                        On 16th july, I have sent an sms - 'ACT SMS35' on 144 to activate 350 text messages for Rs. 35. This SMS was sent by me once. However Rs. 35 has been deducted twice and I have received 700 texts rather than 350 texts. I called their contact centre on 17th July and they claim that according to their records the SMS was sent twice. This is a vodafone network error. I have sent the SMS only one. I have spoken with Salman - CSE, and Priyanka Patinge- Floor Supervisor who have been least helpful even post telling them that I will be escalating the complaint to TRAI and consumer complaint forum.

                        Vodafone — deduction of message pack for no reason

                        The evergreen problem with the Vodafone connection is the unnecessary deduction of either money balance from the account or the paid services like messages etc.Their customer care executive service is so impossibly unreachable that one could not easily make a call for the problem being faced.Their strategy of withdrawing services are very annoying.The 111 is their customer care number but never give us chance to talk to the executives so we can tell our problem to them.

                          Respected Sir/Ma’am,

                          I’m Dr. Niteen Thorve from Pune. Till this week end, I believed Vodafone to be one of the top service providers in the mobile network industry. Although it's "HAPPY TO HELP" tag line is catchy, what's the use of readiness to help if I cannot get the help I asked for?

                          I want to register a complaint against Vodafone for
                          1. Lack of explanation for my data plan usage &
                          2. Additional deduction of Rs. 48.
                          The details are as follows:

                          1. My Vodafone number is [protected] (Maharashtra & Goa circle) from Pune.

                          2. I was using a 2G internet data plan of Rs. 95 (usage allowed 650 MB for 21 days). I had used it 2 times for almost 15-20 days each time.

                          3. Last time (3rd time), I recharged in on 5th July, 2013 in the afternoon & had browsed a little on whatsapp, facebook & some other websites on 5th & 6th July. With such minimal usage the data plan got exhausted during the night of 6th July, with additional cutting of Rs. 48 (my balance) for extra usage.

                          4. This is really annoying & I tried 2 times to get explanation for this from Vodafone customer care department as follows:

                          a) 7th July 2013: Morning time call with customer care executive Sunita Jadhav.

                          b) 8th July 2013: Morning time chat through Vodafone website with Gazala

                          5. Both the times, I got fixed response - “YOU’VE USED THE DATA PLAN & WE CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT”. I did not get convinced with the data usage, hence asked for the details (websites I browsed & the data usage it consumed) or else demanded for refund of the data pack & additionally cut amount of Rs. 48. But the executives could not help.

                          7. Additional point: prior to this, I activated the same data plan on 21st June 2013, got a message from Vodafone on 4th July 2013 that 80% of the data pack is consumed (which proves that I used 521 MB FOR 13 DAYS) & balance is 132228KB. Still the data pack (Remaining 129 MB) expired the very next day, 5th July 2013. This was the first shock. How can I consume 129 MB in just 1 day, when I have used 521 MB for 13 days with the same kind of browsing?


                          I'm sure that the details are not being provided as they are not convincing. No one can exhaust a 2G internet data plan in 2 days, when you are driving to your home town & spend lot of time in meeting people there.

                          Hence, I demanded complete refund (Rs. 95 of the data pack & Rs. 48 of additionally cut balance).
                          Action TAKEN so far:
                          1. I had written email to Vodafone complaint dept. (vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com) on 8th Jul, 2013
                          2. I got response from Vodafone on 10th Jul, 2013 that amount of Rs. 48 (additional balance deducted) has been credited to my account with no comments at all on the data plan exhaustion.
                          3. Wrote back on 11th & 16th July, 2013 & there’s no response to it.
                          I request your help in fighting this battle against the giant corporation not at all delivering what they promise to & yet claim of being HAPPY to HELP!

                          Vodafone — Unexplained Charging

                          Sir,

                          I am a user of VODAFONE pre-paid sim card for the last four months. A week back, I recieved a message at 1 a.m that my hello tunes has been activated and rs. 30 has been deducted . I called the customer care telling them that I haven't message or approved of the caller tune . They submitted my complaint and told me to cancel it using a message code. My complaint number is [protected].They never responded even after my repeated calls.

                          After I cancelled the caller tune, after a week on 16th nov. I agaiin recieved the same message and activating my caller tune without my consent . They deducted Rs.7 from ym balance as this was the remaining balance at that time. I submitted my complaint to Vodafone customer care but no response again.
                          I appeal to you, to help me resolve this matter and take these private operators who are on a rampage cheating.

                            10 months back i have changed my service provider to vodafone by mobile portability . i was able to recharge by online for first 5 months after that i am not able to. Till now am getting issue to recharge online. i got reply from vodafone customer service that this is a known issue and we are working on it. i dont know how long they will work on it. Sometimes it goes worse when i want my account to recharge immediately.

                            Kindly give a quick look on it and do the needful.

                            Vodafone — Vodafone is not Capable to handle Customers...

                            I am Rahul S. Shirodkar from pune,
                            I am not happy with the vodafone service. On saturday i.e 21 June 2008 i was in mumbai & i was not getting vodafone signal it was displaying ( NO Access Network) & i got only 1 message from Vodafone that (you have crossed your credit limit so we will not give you our service). I am using 2 vodafone cards 1 is addon & for both the numbers my outgoing calls are barred this has happened 3rd time with me can you tell me that what is the use of due date of the bill, due date of of my bill is 6th of any month. Saturday & Sunday i was in big trouble & because of vodafone I was not able to contact any one for the help. I think that Vodafone are not capable to give service to your customers. Now i have decided to surrender my both the Vodafone cards & I will go to Airtel, Idea or any other service because they will give better service then you & they are much better then Vodafone. If you have any ability to give service to customer then solve my problem, because on 27th I will pay the bill & till that date my outgoing calls should not be deactivated.

                            I have done recharge with rs 21 and after 48 hours also it is not getting activated. Customer care people are giving worng information saying it will be done by EOD whenever i am calling.

                            All irresponsible executives and giving false information to customers. Worst service.

                            i hav got a sms from vodaphone survice that if i will recharge my phone with 148 Rs bonus before 31st may, i ll get 25% cash back. but after 3 days still i have not got a single new paisa. so i called at customer care twice on 2nd june at 12:50 pm, but instead of providing help, he responded very rudely and disconnected the phone. then i went TTK road headoffice chennai, there also the person sitting there named B.abhishek told me that he will call me after 1 hr. but no result.
                            sir pleese do something for these kind of cheaters, and rude fellows.

                            1 wk back i hav got a msg frm vodafone that they will give 25% cashback on recharge of some bonus before 31st may, so i did that but still i hav not got a single new paisa.

                            Sir I had done a prepaid vodafone recharge from retailer through cash on dated 11th Nov 2010 for rs 300 . The amnt has been paid by us but not got the recharge yet, but a msg received Processing requestfor a refill of INR 300.00 (Transaction id GJ [protected]) Please pay to retailer .seing this i have paid to retailer Rs300.00 But next msg recieved your account has been refilled successfully by INR 0.0 .Your vodafone prepaid account balance is Rs 4.67. which was my previous balance , After 50 minits i have contacted with retailer with explain all the above and shown msg ,which was recieved in my cell ,retailer has talk with toll free No. Vodafone executive told Rs300.00 for GPRS scheme (which was unknown for me ) this fone is only for talking (recieving call and sending call) ,

                            please clrfy and recharge my balance

                            very very bad customer care service.

                            customer care executive are not picking up phone immediately. they are coming after minimum of 10-15 minimum and recharge also not done immediately. when i called to them they told that it will take 24 hours to recharge your mobile.

                            the most worst part is when you called to customer care number it giving options to choose service but you will not get "Call with Customer Care Executive" option immediately. it will take at list 3 minutes and you will get it as sub-option in options.

                            I personally feel that the company is doing this purposely because now customer care charges Rs. 0.50 for every 3 min.

                            if we observe some other company's care service (***********) they have this option as their first priority.

                            i really don't know what these companies are doing with the customers.
                            it is right that vodafone customer care don't care the customer.

                            My Mob. no. is [protected]. I had two recharges of Rs. 30/- each on 23rd and 24th Nov. 2010 respectively. But after each recharge there is negative balance, when I checked it after 1 hour. I have never activated any time of offer provided by you. So what should be the reason, I am puzzled.

                              i am back again on this page in after 2 weeks of my first complaint. it seems either Vodafone likes me a lot or they just want me to be regular on consumer complaints.in. i once again thanks Vodafone for getting me rid of the nightmare that followed me for 2 months but it lead me to another one.. when i was facing the billing payment problem because of Vodafone database problem, i got time to see my customized bill & what i found was even worst then what i faced in past 2 months. after shifting from i phone to blackberry in March 2012, i decided not to take any internet plans as one cant keep record of his / her usage & end up paying a bomb for it. i decided to take only BBM package & be happy with it. there were times when i felt like taking internet but when i went to the Vodafone kiosk.. i found i young lady arguing with the Vodafone guy over her old mothers bill. she was wondering how in the world can her 80 year old Mother's internet usage be so much when she doesn't have any knowledge about internet & she was told that there are several phone applications that get updated without the knowledge of the user.. & trust me i have heard that thing a lot, the same reason & excuse every time over internet usage.

                              coming back to my case, when i got to know about the charges being charged to me for internet usage WITHOUT HAVING ANY INTERNET PLAN on my blackberry curve handset.. i approached Hyper-city Vodafone cell & told them my consent. there was this gentlemen Mr. Shoeb who attended me, heard my problem & gave the reason for me being charged for the net Usage. Trust me, after listening to his reason.. i was shocked.. he said " if you are using a smartphone & u have your data mode on & you happen to be near a WiFi area.. you will be charged for the internet usage ". i told this to many of my IT friends & colleagues & they laughed like anything.

                              i decided to take this matter to the Vodafone care cell. i wrote a brief mail to them but what i got back in return was the same excuse " if you are using a smartphone & u have your data mode on & you happen to be near a wifi area.. you will be charged for the internet usage ". its like a female who visits her friend in maternity ward & gets pregnant. Doesn't make sense right? so does Vodafone's excuse for charging me for Vodafone live for the entire year. There are so many friends of mine using WiFi at home with data plan not on in their handset & not being charged. this is really ridiculous & a lame way of troubling the customers.

                              Vodafone services are going bad to worst.. for example one of my friend Miss Ashvini Bedre ([protected]) went to Hyper-city kiosk (Mumbai) on Saturday 12th July 2013 & took a micro Sim as she wanted to shift from Blackberry to i phone. she was told that the new Sim will get activated withing 2-4 hours & her BBM service will be deactivated with a prior notice via SMS once the other Sim is activated. BBM service was deactivated with immediate effect but the new Micro Sim? its the 3rd day & nothing is done regarding it. when contacted on Sunday, Vodafone servers were down & no senior executive was available to speak.. obviously they had no reason to give for their inefficiency.

                              i am providing the detailed charges of Vodafone live charge towards my number [protected] from March 2012 to May 2013 with tax added on to the total sum of it. Where as Logic & technology says.. one cant charged fro something that has not been given or used by any. i would like to solve this problem as soon as possible & i hope there will be many more such customers who are facing such problem from their providers. kindly join along so that we can solve this for once & all.

                                I got a message from Vodafone to my BSNL number ending with XXXXXXX637 stating that , to activate my new mobile number, [protected] I need to CALL 117

                                But as per my knowledge I hadn't taken any new sim from vodafone. I thought that it was a wrong message, and Vodafone Customer care will be calling me, for Sim activation procedure on my bsnl number so I could reject the sim.

                                Now I am recieving abusing messages from the same mobile number. I don't know on whose name was it, but the mobile number is having a reference of my mobile number.

                                It is the duty of the vodafone, to call the specified number before performing activation procedure

                                Vodafone — reactivation of number

                                I am Riju Jose from Chennai.
                                I have given request for reactivation of my sim (no-[protected]) on 31/12/2007.but till this time my no is not activated and I had called up to customer care more than five times. And every time they were saying that it would be activated within four, six, twelve etc. hours. And it is going to be more than two days. I am really unhappy about the kind of service that you are providing. And now I hope you will take arrangements to activate my number as soon as possible.

                                I am using Vodafone Prepaid connection.
                                Due to SIM card problem i am getting "Error in SIM" in my mobile.
                                For this problem customer care people suggested to replace the SIM card with new one., So i replace it . now vodafone store people are saying two convert my num into pospaid connection. plzzzzzzzzzz help me i[censored] can.I have given fully varefied document wich are requred and asked by the vodafone store person.

                                I recently shifted to Hyderabad and bought a post-paid SIM that was delivered to me on March 31, 2009 by the Vodafone store at Madhapur area. The executive who visited me took from me (a) a copy of my company ID, (b) a copy of my PAN number and (c) a copy of my rental agreement as ID and address proof. Thereafter, the verification person called me on my alternate number and confirmed my identity. However, on April 4, 2009 I got an SMS saying that verification wasn't completed. At this I called the Vodafone call center to receive a gruff message saying they had lost the documents and that I had to resubmit these again. When I refused to make the effort for their failure, they said they can't help and banged the phone. Thereafter my SIM has been deactivated for no fault of mine. If this is the nature of the quality of their Help Service, I would rather stick with BSNL which at least charges me less for lower quality service.

                                Vodafone — Regarding New SIM

                                I was visiting vodaphone services centar at preet Vihar on 2/7/09 regarding my new sim card my phone was lost including my all id proom i am submiting my diriving licenc and pan card photo copy and FIR Report But he refuse to give me my new sim my mobile no is [protected] he told me to go and make original id proff than he will give me new sim Mr sanghsh The Floor Supeviser vodaphone store at prit vihar is just harassing the customer i am giving him original FIR Report But He is not going to give me my number so plz suggest me this is my number and i am submiting all documents regarding new sim

My Sim vendor is asying he has send all d doc to vodaphone office but there working people r changing.. and no one responses. So plz if any thing can be done plz do that for activating my no.

                                hi this is pavan given a request to convert prepaid to postpaid migration .u r people told me that it will active with in 4 to 7 hours .but till now there is no information form u r side .as i am working for facilities company so my phone should always on.this already inform to u r people .they told me it will done with in time .but till now it did't happen.when i am calling to u r people they r not responding well and mobiles were switched off.i wondered such a big company people also will do like this.even i am not getting proper response form there side.this is the way these people are caring customer problems.it's very sad that Vodafone doing like this.

                                Vodafone — activation problem in mobile phone

                                I am having one mobile phone number [protected].This number has been changed from cellone to vodofone under portability on 05/02/2011.On the same day it has been activated by vodofone with outgoing call fecility only.Onthe other hand for getting incoming calls it requires to provide one seperate phone with cellone simcard.The above defect has been represented and approached several times but in vain.They are blaming each other and no fruitful result.Though i am not getting proper reply,it is painful to submit the receipt of desrespect.

                                no one take the vodafone sim because vodafone services are very bad.without customer intimation they take own decisions .So my dear friends my best suggestion is don't take vodafone sim.
                                I took a SIM card in Jun 2010 (mobile Number [protected]). I am generally on roaming. Last month I found that my number was deactivated. I called on that number and I found that the number is being used by someone else. I wonder how my number can be used by somebone else. There may be a chance that the number is being used by some anti-social organisation or some individual from peace disturbing organisation. I request that the matter may be looked into. I am lodging an FIR with Police also. The action taken may be intimated to me me at [protected]@gmail.com

                                Sir recently I lost my mobile so I lost my SIM too I made a call to customer care he told after blocking you can get another duplicate sim I did the same thing. I have visited the Vodafone store in Vijayawada they asked me to submit one ID proof owner they gave the duplicate sim but I am unable to make the calls.
                                When I make a call to customer care He told me that the proofs are not updated I have waited for 4 days After I have visited the same store from where I got it.He told me that you have to submit the documents I have submitted still I am unable to make call

                                  Iam using this vodafone number ([protected]) since last many years and have been subscribing to the vodafone 3G services every month. However from last 2 months Iam facing a sudden downfall in the speed of 3G services thereby causing alot of inconvenience to me. On making a complaint to the customer care executives I haven't got any satisfactory response and the problem still subsists.
                                  The Internet works really slow and thereby causing a breach of the commitment o[censored]pto 21 Mbps speed that has been made by vodafone.

                                  whose bill was paid by with my credit card with auto debit facility and everything is going well till dec10 .My jan bill was not debit from my card and they are harrsing me to pay the bill then i have cantacted vodafone store regarding that and find resion they are labling is your card has been expired by reapeated request but in vain .At last i have paid the bill from that credit card which they are calling expired .But now they have crossed the limits now one of my no having[protected] thet have barred the outgoing service from today[protected].I have given complaint but they dont have proper answer to my query .They simply said we have got mail to discontinue the service . i have recording of the conversation with executive for your kind persual . Is this is the criteria of the company without informing the services were withdrown the harrasment which is occuring due to this behavior of the company will effect me and i want compansation from the company please look into matter and resolve the matter soon otherwise i have to see futher action

                                  Vodafone has been taking Rs. 30 per month for missed call alert service, which notifies by sms calls that have been missed due to out of coverage/switched off state of phone.

                                  My phone was switched probably early morning till afternoon on 22-April. I did not get any missed call alerts. When I complained to their customer care, I get an sms saying that my missed call alerts service has been activated.

                                  This means that they were taking money from me for the past several months for a service which they had basically not activated.

                                  I would like a refund for this.

                                    my name is raj, I got a call from vodafone from and he said that his name is Amar,he told me a postpaid offer and said that among all numbers we selected 200 numbers for best vodafone postpaid connection with less rental .so, by his force ,I applied for vodafone postpaid connection. I submitted my bank account as ID proof n ATM card xerox and security deposit of Rs:300/- on 24-08-09 and then a vodafone executive came to my house and verified my details and has taken my mail id also.On 27-08-09 ..the agent called me and said that the verification has failed ..and from that day onwards i didn't got any call from vodafone upto 10 days. so,i contacted the nearest vodafone store then i recieved a call from the agent. from that day onwards he is telling me that "i will give your money tommorow"..this is going on from past 5 days.plz help me ..wat action can i take on that executive.

                                        I have been with Vodafone until June 2013 from August 2012, I had faced a lot of Issues but none of them in the customer care are good to get my issues resolved. Mine is a Post pade CUG connection.

                                        On April 26, 2013. I activated a trial Internet package of Rs 25 which was valid for 7days, since the day I got this plan activated my life with this Vodafone connection was making me sick. I used to get calls which was not valid, they called me to make payment of at-least 250Rs [this is the total billing amount for a Month for me but they never cared] as i activated Internet trial pack and this caused the unbilled amount to exceed which was never said to me when I was activating or after activation too, this was totally a VERY WRONG THING FOR POST PAID CUSTOMER TO SUFFER WITH UNBILLED EMOUNT OF INTERNET TO BE CLUBBED WITH UNBILED AMOUNT OF CALLS AND MSGS. So I spoke to about 10 VF CC People and still I was insisted to pay Rs 250 else my Number would be disconnected, so later on 6th May I paid 250 Rs and this fuss of VF CC people calling me stopped but unfortunately I did not knew that this was a trick by them. Later when the month bill got generated I WAS SHOCKED TO see an AMOUNT of RS 850+ TO BE SENT TO ME AS A BILLED AMOUNT.
                                        I CALLED UP ALL THE VF CC and I WAS ON CALLS WITH THEM LITERALLY FOR HOURS TOGETHER

                                        i am using the vodafone connection here in mumbai since last 2yrs. i got the bill in feb 08 which reflects misc charges of Rs. 3093.49. when i asked vodafone customer care they replied, this is the non payment of october 07 and november 07. when i asked them, why you people billed 3 months later? they put the fone down. no reply. again i asked in next call (bcz its free to contact them) when i hvnot paid 2 months contineous bills why the service is not deactivated? again they put the fone down.

                                        I want to inform you that I had done a biggest mistake on 1 april 2008.That mistake was buying a vodafone connection.On 1 april 2008 I had purchased vodafone youth pack from arash mobile care centre, main bazaar gurbaksh colony Patiala worth Rs 220 in leu of which I got Rs 180 as talktime and three months validity.Next day I woke up & got shocked that my balance turned out to be zero. I moved to dealer he told me to contact customer care coz it is not his responsibilty as he checked me the balance at the time of purchase.I contacted vodafone but I had not got any satisfactory answer.By frequent calling on customer care I came to know that dealer had sold me an expired connection.So I contacted Vodafone srtore at surya comlex Patiala.There executives told me in any case company will never refund my money I need to talk the dealer and they can do only what a customer care executive can in a call centre.In between this your company ceased customer care facility on my fone for fiteen days .So by this time I was contacting customer care by borrowing cellphone from my friend.Everyone know sthat how much humilating is to borrow anything from a friend in case it is already with you.I again contacted dealer, now he answered me company "aaapka paisa khaa gayi hai aur vo baaki logon k saath bhi aisa karti hai mai abb isme kuch nahi kar sakta" .Now when I contacted customer care from my friend's cellphone sometime they told me to go to dealer and sometime they told me to go to vodafone store.When i asked who is the distributor they told me that they cant provide any information to me.when the customer care was again activated on my phone, then I started to complaining using my phone but after two day, it was ceased again for next fifteen days.an executive from vodafone told me that they cant do any thing I had o talk to dealer.Now I dont know who is distributor in my area, I cant contact customer care and have already got penalty of rupees 180.
                                        I want to ask following querstions
                                        Q.1 If company knows that dealer is responsible why penalty of rupees 180 is given to me, if dealer had lied to you and misguided to their customer inmpose fine on him why company is imposing penalty of rupees 180 as well as mental trauma to me.
                                        Q.2 why balance of rupees 180 flashed on my mobile when the company knows it is expired one?
                                        Q.3 Why customer cre service is operated by company if they cant even tell me the adress of the distributor of area?

                                        It is with great agony that I wish to draw your kind notice towards that I am Customer (Subscriber, Mobile no[protected] of your company since last 5+ years.

                                        It is a corporate connection. I am using 149 Plan. Call charges through my Vodaphone no. is abruptly inflated since last two months without giving any intimation. I appealed to Customer Assistance Cell several times in this concern but all in vain. Your call rates are far soaring than other operators, e.g., Reliance, Airtel etc. One of friend is using Vodaphone no-[protected] & his calls are very low than my. Why is this discrimination? Why should pay extra for same? What massage do I take is its gaffe of any consumer being so long relation with your organization. Possibly, I have done the same mistake. It is only matter of money but more than that, i.e., principles, commitment, ethics towards yours client whose trace record is good throughout this long period commercial relation. Now I feeling like deceived, is not it? In my opinion, a wise person can't continue this business relation on irrational grounds.

                                        In nutshell, am I not being exploited by this association? Kindly do needful within 15 hours as required otherwise I will be compelled to surrender the SIM & have to switch to other operator. If the number portability put into practice, I extremely regretful to state this approach/policy of company is going to plunge great acquisition of costumer.

                                        Vodafone India — Fake Offers from Vodafone

                                        Today morning I received a call from [protected]. The lady said she was calling from Vodafone and since I am a "special customer", they are offering me a scheme where if I recharge for the amount of Rs. 201, then instead of the regular talktime of 402 minutes, I ll get 603 minutes. This special offer as per her was valid only for today. This she said was for today only. Since I already had Rs. 70 left on my regular recharge of Rs. 222, I asked her what will happen to it and she said it will get added to it. So far so good.

                                        1. I had a recharge of Rs. 201 - surprise surprise, I only got a talktime of 402 minutes
                                        2. Any calls I make deduct the amount from this 402 minute talktime. This means that my Rs. 70 balance from the 222 recharge which is meant to be used within 30 days will go to waste since 30 days will expire before I use the 402 minutes.

                                        My complaint:
                                        1. Stop giving fake offers getting people to recharge
                                        2. Please remove me from your special customer list, I am better off without your special attention!
                                        3. Please allow me to use my 222 recharge amount before the 402 minute amount
                                        Got a call from Vodafone just now, they have credit the said 201 free minutes on my account and have assured me that they prior balance of Rs. 70 will not have any time validity to be resolved. :-)

                                        Mental Harassment on bill payment, I am forced to write this mail again to you as they had sent the nonpayment automated message on my husband’s number few days back, that too without making any calls or confirmation with him and today they have also barred the outgoing which will hit his business works.
                                        I have seen the bill amount sent to my husband’s number for my number which seems to have the late fees added to my knowledge also this is not acceptable.
                                        I had asked them to have the back-end team come into the call so that they can talk to me directly or send me documentary evidence of my internet usage otherwise remove internet charges from my bill. The Customer Care Centre would always promise me on it but the end of the day, and inspite of me giving them all the details regarding the issue even very recently, no one turned to call me, I haven’t called them again coz when I used to call them previously I was always informed that they cannot adjust internet charges or the backend team has called you but your mobile was always switched off which was never true. Now, I have been left with any other option except to approach you to deal with my grievances.
                                        It’s a humble request that you to look into this matter very strictly as they have taken me for a ride on this 3 months time now. I am highly disturbed, Mental Harassed & tortured by Vodafone people & you are my last hope.

                                        I have Just now called up VF CC [AS MY OTHER NUMBER OUTGOING HAS BEEN BARRED] and I am again disappointed with there CC skills.
                                        1. There is no Mr. Noor / Hameed / Raj Available.
                                        2. I asked for manager and Mr Pramod or Pradeep informed me that the Manager is not at his desk [When I spoke to Hameed day before he informed me that manager will be available only from 9AM to 6 PM] so tell me who is lying me or making me fool?
                                        3. Does the only manager in the floor go out for break for 1Hour with Just a single lead kept in line though he should be either on call or should be at desk [never in my life did i see a manager so irresponsible as when ever i asked for a manager they always gave me vauge answers like this only].
                                        4 So I asked the CC representative to place me on hold for 1Hr he just confirmed if i wanted 1Hr Hold and when I said yes without any probing queries he placed me on hold[Is he not responsible to make the customer comfortable and make them get a solution rather making them be on hold for this long] ???
                                        5. Even in my previous calls I was used be placed on HOLD for more than 15mins, and they talk so loudly that I can hear all different languages on my phone which is also out of my comfort zone. {I said I want to be on hold for 1Hr because Mr Noor has informed in these previous calls when I asked him about placing me on HOLD for More than 15 mins which would cost me he has INFORMED ME THAT THE HOLD TIME WILL NOT COST A CUSTOMER AT ALL (U can find the same in the call recordings too)}

                                        IS THIS THE WAY A CUSTOMER IS TREATED BY AN INTERNATIONAL TELECOM COMPANY??????
