This is to bring to your notice about about the bad customer service provided by the staff at your center in Margao, Goa. For one to get an appointment is a long waiting time not because there are too many customers on line. It is just because they take too much time to deal with one customer. Well it is actually good if they put that much time to understand the customer but actually what happens is once a customer goes to a staff they listen for some time and then they disappear to their back area for long time. It looks like that they have gone to find the solution for their problem but then they are not to be seen for atleast 15 to 20 minutes. This is done with most of the customers. Yesterday I had been there and saw this and thought that might be they have gone for their break or so. It was in the evening. My problem was not solved due to which I had to go again today in the morning and found the same situation again. Another customer who was already being attended much before me was sitting at the desk waiting for the staff to come back. My number came and even after that the staff had not returned. Finally he also got agitated and asked the staff who was attending to me to help him out which the staff said that the other one will soon arrive. But actually till the time I finished my work which took atleast 15 minutes that staff did not come out and finally the customer walked out without getting the new connections which he had come for. I had to pay for my new sim card and when I reached the pay counter there was again no one at the desk. It took another 10 minutes for some other staff to come and finish the line at pay counter.


There is a CCTV in the store and I am sure if it is recorded then you will have proper evidence of what I am saying.

Hoping for the services to improve at your center in Margao.

I've lost my mobile, a postpaid connection with Vodafone. I called up the Vodafone customer service at [protected] and 111 from my cousin's prepaid Vodafone number and I was asked to call the other one. Vodafone has started this stupid service of conference facility, whose advertisement just goes on and on without any way to skip it. The IVR doesnt tell you which digit to press to speak to a customer service representative. I dont understand how Vodafone management thought that the idea of conference facility is such a great thing that everyone would want to listen to it even when they are frantically calling to report the loss of their mobile/ service.

To add insult, the prepaid customer service representatives dont have the ability to transfer calls to postpaid department and we have to call from a landline to reach the postpaid department. How can we term this as "Happy to Help"????

This is terrible customer service. Please, Vodafone guys, so many people have so many complaints on you. When will you start learning? Please, do you know what feedback is all about and the purpose of it?

Subject: Bad customer service in Hyderabad.

I am a loyal customer of Vodafone. From past 4 years I am using. But now, i am not satisfied with the service because of bad customer support.
My experience with your service was I have called twice to the customer care but the reponse was not at good. Really I felt unhappy with the service. The two persons who had handled the call had given a bad response to me. The two persoons said, we will transfer your call to my supervisor but they dint. We are not a fools to make like this.

Actually I had 7.10 Rs or some change in my account also I had 54 minutes of night balance.
After 11 o'clk I made a calll to one of my friends, unfortunately the 7/- was deducted from my account. After that, I made a call to customer care to check out.But his response was so rude and also argued with me. I said after 11 o'clk I called but he was saying before 11 o'clk you have called so that the 7 rupees was deducted. One more fellow said you dont have a balance on your account up to 11 o'clk. and still, How could they say without checking the details. Really I am so frustrating with the rude reponse from your service. I never experienced like this.

Mt request is, take a proper action on both of them who had handled my call twice.
Why I am teleling, they even not checking the details and giving the response to the customers and they are playing with the customers for sake enjoyment. Even they not showing any empathy or way of appoaching.
If they do in the same manner, the service will get bad remark from the customers.

So could you please take a sufficient action.

My self C. vijaya Chandra . iam customer of vadafone communications. My Mobile number is [protected]. I have activated caller tune from friend mobile still from last 2 weeks but it is not activated still now . already my balance 50Rs is deducted from account. When i call to customer service they are delaying my query. I have registered my complaint two times, my complaint no are[protected] and[protected]. please iam requesting you that give me solution for this . In customer service department is very worrest i never seen like this persons.

And i am very mad about it now, because of the advertisements i get. How this marketing people get my number. The point is i get 10 - 15 advertisement calls from those people in a day.

My name is Suman. Today i have called to vodafone customer service which is located at hyderabad. Actually i have recharged my cell to make a important call. When i checked my balance i got a message stating that i have negative balance in my cell. All of a sudden amount was deducted without my knowledge. When i called customer care, executives informed me that love alerts is activated in my account. My cell was with me and i dint activate anything. When i am speaking to executives they are not even listening what am i saying and executives are speaking arrogantly. I requested to transfer the call to TL but they dint transfer. Sometimes i will get calls from vodafone from different numbers, when i receive the calls, money will be deducted from my account. Due to these issues most of my friends stopped using vodafone. We are unhappy with the service provided. Very soon vodafone would loose most of the customers. Im using vodafone since 5years so im registering this complaint.

I have been using Vodafone since two and a half years but suddenly one day my number was deactivated on the grounds that my documents were not verified.I was not even informed about this even once.I got to know only when i tried calling up through my number and i could not use the service.
i dont understand that after two and a half years the copany realized that my documents are not verified, moreover, even when i again submitted the entire documents the service was activated after 78 long hours.

In 10 November, 2009 i activate BIR (Basic International Roaming ) on my vodaphone number [protected] and i was told that in this service i cannot make any outgoing calls as outgoing calls are barred . During the official stay of 2 months in US , Vodafone Suspend my number i enquir about it and i came to know it was due to my Bill . on 15 January 2010 , i Came back to India and I checked my Bill ( Bill number [protected] ) in which 3795 Rupees was added to my bill as outgoing calls charges . I submit my request number [protected] to vodafone customer care , he assured me that your phone number will be activated within 3-4 days . after 4 days nothing happens there . I again called top customer care many times but no resaponse always i got the answer that your request is pending. I went to Vodeafone Store sec 35 chandigarh 5-6 times ( Executive name : MEGHA) , But Every time she assured me that the complaint will be resolved in 1-2 days , Now I deposit 4000 rupees to vodafone . Till now the matter is not resolved
As i have Electronics Business , I have This contact Number on all my Bill Books and Letter heads and all document , Due to vodafone's bad service i lost my many oredr of worh 8 - 10 lakhs , Copy Of Vodafone bill is attached

Please help me to resolve this matter , so that there shold not more loss to me and my company

Vodafone / Mobile network — Bad customer handling

I have to make payment 6000, i made 5500, i just want to get the clarification on the remaining amount i tried to contact the person at customer care office (Koramangala) .Care centre working time is 11 am to 8 pm , when i went the time was 7 : 55 pm. They didn't allow me to enter and communicate , If ask for the time they informed us that its their wish '" When should close and when should open " the language which they used was not decent to handle a customer .

The proof of time is with me , The bill printed on the automatic machine is 17: 55pm. I can present this for further information .
Vodaphone has the worst customer service of all the mobile service providers I have dealt with. It's not a torture to be on the customer's end while being subjected to random questions like "how much did you pay for the recharge?" Hell if I knew I was supposed to remember how much I pay every time I recharge, I would be keeping a journal. A simple question like why can nobody get through my phone and why they hear the message "this phone is temporarily out of service" cannot be answered by the oh-so-well-trained customer service reps. Apparently all they can offer you is a canned response prefixed by your name at the beginning of every sentence! I think it's time to change. I am happier with Airtel or even Reliance! Boo to Vodafone!!
Very Pathetic service from vodafone, Hopeless System used at vodafone, u do not have the correct name of the cust.inspite of correcting the people they still call with wrong name, call recd from [protected], supervisor (Laxmi) and nodal officer (Imran Shaikh) are also good for nothing, the nodal officer says you send us the mail and we will look into the matter

Hi, , , i have vodafone prepaid connection, , , since few days i have observed that my balance is getting cut with small amount like 50 paisa or 1Rs in every minute or so that too without calling anyone, , , , for the whole week i have not done any outgoing calls i have received only incoming still my balance of 100 rs was deducted.on calling the Customer care (198) who are worst on replying, , , , kept me on hold for 15 min finalling disconecting it, , this repeated 3 times in a day ...and since 1 week i am not able to call 198...because if you call this num for more than 3 times a day then u are barred to call the same num for 1 week, , , this whole thing has made me decide to switch to anathor service provider, , , , , Vodafone is the worst on customer service and yet they advertise Happy to help...

a bonus pack called " Kodumbum pack " has been activated on my number charging 3 rs on daily basis.i cannot deactivate that service for past few months lodged complaints many time ...no response at all from them . atlast i deactivated few days before ...i called them and asked for waiver -They said its not possible...i sent mail to nodal officers same reply from them. I left this matter . Recently i tried to go for service called CREDIT ...Whenever i try to activate that service it wont to do so...l called customer service and lodged a complaint till now no response problem persist...So i left it. again new problem started i put bonus pack 125 ....its a rate cutter ..that pack is not activated ...again called customer and asked them.....They said have to wait for 24 hrs......i don't know y have to wait 24 hrs just to activate the service that i paid for......Always they have a answer "Server down" "Server "problem" "technical issue" Worst service ....one more thing is most of the customer care agents used to disconnected the call if they cannot answer

VODAFONE is the WORST company in the WORLD. IT has the WORST CUSTOMER CARE. The pre-paid number in question is: [protected].

Details of my recent HORRIBLE experience with VODAFONE is as follows:

VODAFONE is the worst company in the world. Do not opt for their 3G data cards, dongle or iPad micro sim.

My recent horrible experience with Vodafone is as below:

I purchased a NEW Prepaid Vodafone 3G Mircrosim and Internet connection for my IPAD. The number is: [protected]

Purchased a new microsim for Vodafone on the 20th of july'2013. First in the Vodafone gallery, none of their employees knew what kind of sim goes in the iPad, they took 15 minutes to figure out that a microsim is required. Secondly I was told that with a recharge of Rupees 499, I will get 3 gb of 3G connection per month. I paid the 499 and I was told that I will receive a verification call within 6 hours after which my Internet will get activated and service will start. I finally get a verification call and they confirm that my Internet will resume within 1 hour of that call.

It has been over 15 hours but my service never started, post which I called the prepaid customer service number. After explaining them my problem for over 25 minutes on the phone, I am told that I need to recharge my account for a further balance of 10 rupees only then I can use the Internet. When I ask them why wasn't
I have 4 VODAFONE postpaid and 1 above mentioned prepaid connections. I plan to disconnect all of them after going through this experience.

It is high time we Indians file criminal and consumer suits against such companies, I being an advocate plan to take Vodafone to court as early as this coming week. I further plan to take up this fight against such horrible customer service against VODAFONE in the Press & News Media and also file a complaint with the PARENT company of Vodafone as the Indian Counterpart will never take any action since CUSTOMERS are not considered KINGS but DOGS in INDIA.

Myself advocate swapandeep singhal, I went in indirapuram vodafone centre to change my mobile no.--[protected] postpaid plan to some aother postpaid plan. there is token system so i took the same...my token number was 142.But many persons came after me had been taken up before me.I complain about this unprofessional conduct many times but the executives...Jagjeet and Naresh ji told me that they are taking up their premium customers first as there token is on priority...so I asked the how to take a priority token...they told me that as your number is only 4 months old you have to wait atleast for 2 years to become premium customer. I waited over there for 45 minutes but no response.So my complain is if i had made any mistake by porting my number with vodafone.If i went to vodafone's store for some query and taken token even then behavior with me was like a neglected customer...the system should be first come first serve and not on priority basis...that was a very unprofessional behavior at vodafone's end.Kindly take a strict action against vodafone for such an unprofessional behavior.

    This is w.r.t above mentioned subject in regards to the top up of 3G data for my post paid connection; since 19th May i m trying to activate additional package of 3G of 1 GB; as my monthly package of 3G data of 1 GB is about to complete.

    For the message which i sent to 111 i got msg which says "Hello! we are unable to process your request currently. Please try after sometime".

    I need to understand the problem and why my request is not processed; as on today i will be completing my monthly package and from now onward do i need to use my iphone or not?.

    Do i need to write mail each and every time for same services or what? same problem i m facing from last 3 months need clear explanation on the same.

    This mail i m writing to educate you that i m ready to pay for services which i ll be using and for the services i request and you will not activate and if i charge for my placed request. than for sure i ll not be paying at any circumstances;

    In simple words i would like to say i ll keep using 3G services and after completing my 1 GB if i charged than i will not pay for it as i have placed request and you have not processed it. its problem from your end not from my end.

    Vodafone — Issue in Top-up - Reg

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Rs 100/- top-up was done on 04-Nov-2009 for mobile # [protected].

    But it was not reacharged. Old balance was shown in the screen.

    Dealer said that recharge was done. But, the amount has not been
    credited.

    Vodafone customer care centre said that no top-up was made for my mobile.

    I reveived the transaction code from the dealer who made top-up.

        I Mr Arthur Sequeira your postpaid facility user is writing you a Complaint stating the following issues I would like bring it to your notice.

        1) I have been charged with extra amount as compared to my Monthly Rental for both of my Postpaid Plans.

        2) Extra Rental has been charged for my number [protected] .i.e. A sum of Rs 423,wherein my initial plan is of Rs 248 Out of which my monthly Rental is Rs 150 + 2 Vodafone numbers free for lifetime with a Rental of Rs 98. Including 3G Data Plan of Rs100.

        3) An extra amount of Rs 99 has been charged for downloading of a Software which is not applicable to my phone and (which i have not even dowloaded).

        4) And also Extra Rental has been charged for my other number [protected] .i.e. A sum of Rs 189 wherein my initial plan is of Rs 115 which includes the rs. 99 plan + one number in Vodafone Friends Circle which charges is Rs 16 which add upto 115 /-.

        Please find the attached Bill Snapshots in which all the extra amounts are marked in Red Circles.

        Requesting you to please look into to the matter asap and revert to me on the same.

        Vodafone — Bill-rental

        Dear sir,

        This is ashok kumar using Vodafone ([protected]) since last four years and with the Advance rental Plan Rs.999 for a year but they have change the plan into Rs.298 advance for a month and after several communications with them they are not ready to change the plan and continuously generating the bill with rs 298 for every month since july and now they have sttoped my all the services because of that we are sufferin a lot since 1Oct2010.
        Additionally to my complaint above there has been no response to my emails sent to vodafone on vodafonecare.[protected]@vodofone.com

          Sir/Mam,
          I am Hitesh from delhi. I was using a vodafone postpaid connection i.e. [protected]. I deactivated this number last month. After that i tried to clear my dues pending with the company but there was no proper guidance also the mini store refused to accept the payment and said they are not authorised to accept payments of deactivated connections.
          When i called customer care, they told me that mini stores are completely authorized and they can accept the payment. I again visited the mini-store but this time they said they are not going to resolve my issue at any cost. Then i again called the customer care to raise a complaint against them but this time they also didn't helped me out.
          The people i tried to talk at customer care :

          Vodafone — dealer refused to provide service

          i asked the to recharge my vodafone number by RS 35 but he refused to do so and gave me reason that he will not recharge me number below rs 50.the company is giving schemes of less than rs 50 and dealer is not supporting.if the company cannot provide optimum services than why it has given dealership to such dealers.

              Dear Team,

              It very sad to say that your sales team committed to us fraud plan and after activating of SIM there will be no services available which your sales team committed us.

              Earlier i am using the reliance CDMA network for four year now i port my number to your network with postpaid connection.

              The plans committed to me are Rental 299 where rent will be 250/- and Rs. 49 will be discounted with 800 local and national call and 300 local and national SMS free plus 1GB internet pack on 3G network for Rs. 150/- only and one vodafone local number free for first six month.

              Now, when i called to customer care for taking information on this they said that on my number [protected] rental plan is 299/- but with 400 local and national call and SMS free only not as per above and there is not internet pack and number free services are on this number as committed to me.

              The person who committed me his name is Mr. Nitish and his mobile no. is [protected] now i am trying get these services activate through him but he is not helping me.

              After that i launch a complaint to your customer care against him with my query no. SR_NO=[protected] but still i did not get any solution and call for the vodafone.

              This is very bad experience for me that such a big company making lie promises to the customers for just being with him.

              If all these services i will not get definitely after three month i will port my number to other network.

                This complaint is regarding problems using Internet Services on Vodafone provider. I recharged my Vodafone number with a 2G mobile package valid for 4 days on 12/05/2013. During the validity of this package I recharged with another 1-day trial internet 3G pack on 14/05/2013 to test performance since I was experiencing poor connectivity with 2G. My 3G pack expired on 14/05/2013 itself and I continued browsing internet (chatting, emails) on assumption that my 2G plan is still active since it was due expire one day later. Suddenly i got 2 subsequent messages on15/05/2013 evening from Vodafone charging me for internet usage throught the day and my whole balance was deducted (~INR 200). I was left with only INR0.01 in my account - feeling disspointed was not able to make any phone calls.
                I could only call toll free numbers and I tried getting in touch with a Vodafone Customer Care executive for assistance. I made 4-5 calls in half an hour and all executives gave me different views. None of the vodafone officals were skilled enough to provide me convincible reason of what happened. I got to hear varied reasons like your recharge on 12/05/2013 itself wasn't successful, 2G and 3G recharge doesn't work in parallel, you had used your entire usage limit allowed (which i clearly hadn't)

                None of the officials seemed to know the working of vodafone operations and customer service that I experienced had been too disappointing. They gave me a request no.[protected] but there had been no progress on it. On top of it the call to 111 gets disconnected after precisely 5 minutes 10 seconds and many a times all my struggle to go through dozen menu options to finally talk to the execute goes in vain.

                If at all vodafone has rules like you cant recharge 2G and 3G at the same time, isnt it their responsibility to atleast communicate this to the customer when customer attempts to make an online recharge? Why do they allow multiple recharge option then without prompting or warning the customer? I didnt even receive any message that my 2G package is terminated since I recharged with a 3G pack, obviously I kept on using 2G with the assumption that it is consuming my package allowance

                I must admit that vodafone is not at all customer centric and the overall experience had got me really annoyed - I just don't feel like using any of the vodafone services henceforth

                  I am receiving illegal call from International number i.e. [protected] From last 15-20 days.Sometime i am getting a call from this number and sometime number not displayed on screen only Withheld is mention against the number. I have searched and confirmed from customer care this number is from Italy

                  some time the person from other end start the conversation with abusive language. Intially Once or twice I have made a call to same number but I was not getting any response from other end.

                  I have compalin regarding the same to Customer care, they have told me you can take legal action against this.

                  But i am not sure how much it will work. plz suggest

                  Vodafone — No Service and Billing issue

                  Hi,

                  This compalint in regard to my vodafone # [protected], which I am not able to use for last couple of month. The problem began when I recd a new SIM card on 2nd Nov'09 even though I never requested for the same. My existing Sim got deactivated on 4th Nov'09 and then the problems started.
                  Firstly, I called up on 6th Nov(no complaint # available) for the activation of my new sin and I was told that the SIM will get activated in 24 hours.
                  Next call was made on 10th Nov'09 (complaint# [protected]) and the same commitment was made but the SIM never got activated.
                  Next call was made on 13th Nov'09 (complaint# [protected]) but still the SIM was not activated and I was given the assurance that this time it will be done for sure and due to some technical problem it was not done earlier.
                  The last call was made on 15th Nov'09 (complaint#[protected] and the result was the same. I told the customer care executive very clearly(you can also refer to the voice recording) that if the SIM is not activated by tonight I will throw away the SIM and will get another connection from other service provider.But again the SIM was not activated.

                  Now since for last I have been mentally harassed by the recovery department for the payment of bill. For the period ended 19th Nov'09 it was Rs. 440(including late fees) but as the connection was not disconnected I got the dec'09 bill for 734/- even though I have not used the number for 2 months.

                  I called up the customer care and was referred to the retention team where I talked to Mr. Rajeev/Rajesh (complaint# [protected]) and told him about the issue. I asked him to deactivate the number with immediate effect and I do not want to continue with the services. I am a vodafone customer for last 9 years.

                  The matter is not just 100 odd bucks but the kind of services I got. I have not used the number since 4th Nov'09 due to a fault which was not mine and now the recovery member is telling me that whatever be the case I have to pay the amount in full. Even if I look at the nov'09 bill the outstanding amount was 440/- in which there was 50/- was latepayment charges. That makes it 390/- overall. I have also a security deposit of 250/- for this number. I do not have problem in settling but I need a response from your side in this regard and I want to get rid of the mental harassment which I am getting due to calls from your recovery team.

                    I am using a Vodafone post paid number ([protected]). Few months back i bought a new phone which is Samsung galaxy grand . I got a handset bundle offer from Vodafone i.e. 2 GB 3G data for 2 months.it got activated on 25th feb 2013 & my billing cycle is 1st.i used 3G for a month & i got a call from Vodafone asking about the experience of 3G.vodafone executive told me that this bundle offer will play according to my billing cycle.now on midnight of 1st may 2013 this offer expired.i received my bill and i found that it has Rs 2484 which is shown as 3G usage from 25th april to 2nd may 2013.
                    i called customer care and the executive told me that you exceeded the 2GB plan and you have used some 350 Mb extra.
                    infact i got many calls from Vodafone regarding this offer and they confirmed me that this offer will end on 1st midnight.i used to check my remaining 3G balance regularly.on 29th april the balance was 781 MB.i called customer care on 30th april.mr shantanu mukharjee was the name of the executive i had words with.even he confirmed me that i am still left with 781 MB and i am supposed to use it till 1st midnight.
                    now when i called Vodafone care after seeing my bill they told me the same story that i used more than 2 GB.i asked the executive to launch a complaint but he refused and told me to send a mail to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com and corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com

                    I received a mail and again same story that i overused it.

                    my questions..-
                    1. If i used over 2 GB and this 2gb got over on 25th april why did your executive gave me wrong information that i am left with 781 MB.
                    2. If its a human mistake then why your system was showing me 781 MB till 2nd may 2013.

                    Vodafone — wrong informaton to customer

                    Hi there,

                    I am very saddened by my experience with vodafone in the last 7 days. My story goes like this:

                    I had taken a Vodafone connection in July-07 under plan Talk100 with an assurance that the CLIP charges are free for life. For a year things were ok, after which suddenly of 1-Jul-08, my CLIP was disconnected. On calling your Hotline (111) I was informed about all kind of stories (that my CLIP was free for only 2 months/ it could be that it was free for 12 months, etc.). I finally gave up and asked what I could do. I was told that talk to the person who got you the connection (now I am supposed to remember the person who had orally confirmed that CLIP is free a year back and goto him to correc the situation). I actually had his no. saved and called him (Fransis from Vodafone - he happens to be an RM for our Bank - I work for a bank). He told that I goto a Vodafone store and ask for extending my free CLIP for another 12 months. On contesting that he had said that its free for life - he mentions this is how its free for life - goto Vodafone store every 12 months! agash!!!

                    I checked the Vodafone website and then thought that its best that I convert my phone to a prepaid connection. I went to the Vodafone Store (Fort) to ask for waiver of CLIP for another 12 months which I was flatly denied - again referring me to the person who gave me the connection (haha). I asked about conversion to a prepaid connection. The person attending to me (Ankur) said that the call charges are very high if I go for a prepaid connection. On referring to the Internet tariffs, he flatly refused to accept the tariffs and gave me a very different picture. I was convinced that he must be knowing better about the charges and accepted a change in my tariff plan (with a higher rental) so that my CLIP gets activated. This is on 3rd July with assurance that the CLIP will be activated within 2 days maximum.

                    On 7th July, I called up the Hotline (111) to check why my CLIP was not activated, I was informed it'll done by end of day.

                    I called again on the Hotline to check about the prepaid connection (this time I asked that I want a new connection) - I was given a very different set of tariffs (with much lower call rates - Re.1 local/ Rs.1.30 for STD). The moment I said, I want to convert my current connection from Postpaid to Prepaid, their tone completely changed and I was asked to goto a Vodafone store.

                    On reaching the Vodafone store, I again faced the same situation. I told them I want to convert the connection and I was informed that the STD rates are different - now it was Rs.1.50/ min instead of Rs.1.30 as informed on the Hotline. I was made to wait for close to 2 hrs and then my connection type change request was taken.

                    No one at the store was willing to write and give me the charges that would be applicable on the prepaid connection - the charges they were mentioning was different from the ones mentioned on the website.

                    I wish to bring to your notice that :
                    1. the STD charges on a prepaid connection mentioned on the website is 1.30 (which is confirmed by your Hotline perso) whereas as per your store people, its 1.50/min which matches with your internal charges.
                    2. Your people at Vodafone store give all wrong information - both at Fort and Santacruz
                    3. People at your Vodafone Store assure you of certain charges/ services which are never met. On asking for written commitments, no one is ready to give anything in writing.
                    4. A customer availing of a new prepaid connection is denied of a written statement of applicable call rates. This is completely unfair to the customer.

                    In the process, the customer is completely mislead at various points.

                    I would want to take up this matter with TRAI, consumer forum. I would request you to please accept that the information provided on your website is false (even today it shows wrong rates).

                    Please take this seriously and respond asap.

                    This is with great disappointment i am writing this mail as i have already faced so many problems after taking company's plan of prepaid to postpaid conversion. At the time of persuading me for this plan one of Vodafone's executive told me that it wont take more than 2 days at any cost for my new connection to get activated so i opted for the plan yesterday itself and submitted all the required documents. But today i have been told that verification and other formalities will take another 2-3 days, moreover the way company executive talked to me was below my dignity.
                    Well i know that this mail is going to get unnoticed as there must be so many other grievances of so many other people but still i thought it'll be good on my part to intimate you guys about this. Hope to get a better response this time.

                    My Number is [protected] and its post paid. I purchased galaxy grand on 13th may and got Vodafone bundle offer for 2 months.. the offer end date was 13th july and I called customer care on 10th..again on 12th and 13th July as well .. every time it was clearly told to me that the 3g services will be automatically deactivated and I will never be charged for it.I hardly used it and never crossed the limit of 2 Gb as well. I confirmed it 4 times by calling customer care. Couple of days back again I called and spoke to senior officer to avoid any confusions and this time again I was told clearly that I will nt be charged for any internet usage as I do not have any 3G plans active on my mobile. This was a clear sentence from the senior officer .. and he also confirmed that I will be charged for my std and local calls only.. and normally bill comes around 550 but it came around 1900 for July month Inclusive 900 3G charged.

                    Now the First Question is, If I do not have any 3G services Active for my Number, How can I get charged for that. I never wanted any 3G services, and I explained it many times to Customer Care Executive and It was told to me that Once the Free Validity gets over, 3G will be deactivated automatically . Check Recordings. I have it with me as well.

                    Second, I have sent mail twice to Corporate.Meh*** as suggested by Customer care Executive and Never Got the response in 48 hours as Vodafone claims through Auto mailer. I am still awaiting for last mail that I sent couple of days before.

                    I have been using Vodafone for almost 5 years now and never had any issues. But this is a clear case of cheating your customers by giving wrong information.
                    It will be highly appreciated if some quick action is taken on this.
                    FYI, 3G is still active on my mobile. Seems some technical issue at your end. Check that as well.

                      i have serious problem in out goning call from last one day still i am having this problem but no one give proper answer from customer care they just told me to weight .in 9 month i am having same problem so please do the the needful
                      Message does not get delivered, every time we need to check for available network and then select "Vodafone Karnataka", each and every time and then register on the network.
                      After registering only 1-2 msgs can be sent and again the same problem repeats.

                            Vodafone — Customer Service not proper

                            I recently migrated my mobile service provider from Airtel to Vodafone and they were facing some technical issues because of which I am unable to receive calls from service providers other than Airtel and BSNL. I contacted the vodafone customer care and they responded rudely saying that the issue will be resolved in 7 business days. Just because my mobile phone will not be available there is every chance that I will loose a lot of things like business, money etc which as per me is not acceptable.

                            Just imagine life without a mobile phone for 7 business days that is 9 days.

                            Please lodge a complaint and take necessary actions.

                              My name is Anshu Middha and i want to file a complaint against Vodafone Billing Dept. As they have been harassing me for last 1 year. I bought a vodafone number ([protected]) from one of their sales representative who sits in our office ( Convergys India Services ltd). At the time of purchasing this number, he told me that i could use this number for unlimited Internet fr just 200 /- rupees per month. I kept on using that number for 20 days and one day i got the message that services have been stopped because it had exceeded the credit limit. When i called Vodafone, they told me that billing amount has exceeded the limit to 2800 that's why services had been stopped.
                              SO next day, i checked with same sales representative. he told me that this had been happened with few people as well. so he gave me new number ([protected] ) saying that there was no need to pay to vodafone as it was their fault. I kept using that number for few days and same thing happened. The services were stopped again. This time, again the credit limit was exceeded to 2500/-. so i stopped using that number and after that i could not get back to that representative again.

                              After that , from April ,2012 till today, i have been getting calls from vodafone for paying this amount. i have clearly told them about the fraud i have been facing . but they are not understanding me and harassing me for paying the amount. Few representatives , also abused when they called. Even the female representatives use abusive language. an they are threatening me for disconnecting me postpaid number that i have been using for last 5 years and they themselves have provided me credit limit of 15000/- on it.
                              I want to file a complaint against them as they have disconnected the services on my running Vodafone number[protected].

                              I had a vodafone no. transferred by my ex-collegue and on the same day I also changed the plan as per my usage. In first month they didnt send me the bill as per the new plan and I complained to their customer care no. but they asked me to visit their gallery and then the executive reworked the bill after 2-3 visits. Later on I received my bills as per my chosen plan and suddenly in one of the month when the usage was on a higher side they changed to some other plan where the call charges were on a very higher side with difference in the rentals and other facilities which had resulted in a bill of more than 7000 INR. I wasnt worried of any huge bill value but the bill wasnt as per my plan. So I called up the so called helpline and tried to register the complain but they again asked me to run to their gallery and denied taking any such complain. i visited their gallery for more than 4-5 times and the reply was the same that they will get back to me but never turned up calling me to clarify the doubts. then they started sending their agents to my house where I told them to provide my the right bill so that i can make the payment but they inturn didnt do it till date and in mean while i had taken another connection for my new company purpose and they started barring my outgoing calls all the time even though i had made all payments on the same day of the bill and also when my usage hasnt even reached the credit limit. On speaking to their support team no one provides the right details and releases the outgoing for few hours and again the same problem. Then one sudden day when i threaten them with the legal step to be taken against them they show their best support in calling us to give best possible reason for harrasments that they do and later i learn that it was my earlier bill which made them do that. And again the same thing visit our gallery. Iam also working like them and also travelling how is it possible to visit them everytime and fail to understand that if everything is being done by gallery people why the helpline guys need to be hired. also on going to their gallery they are too helpless. It seems like one person is caught hold for the harassment so that they can keep themselves busy and prove to their empployers that they are worth hiring.
                              I dont understand when will our government take some serious action against these guys. here itself i can see we have around 700-800 claints registered in their name but no step taken against these guys. helpline is supposed to be for the convience of the customers and not for the harassment and i am sorry to say that the culprits are still enjoying our hard earned money and even after shelling out money we end up being harassed. I think the governemnt should cancell their lisence after knowing about n number of complaints for fraud, harassment and so on.

                              Vodafone / Harassing Customer — Harassing Customer

                              I have been using Vodafone pre paid service for the last 1.5 yrs. I wanted to migrate to post paid. I applied for the same in the 1st week of Aug. But I was denied on the pretext that I refused to give them the informations which they sought for. Why will one not give details when he has already spent Rs. 250 and the informations which they are asking for are not personal.

                              Then after 20 days I re-applied and the application was rejected. This time the reason which they are citing is that they can't locate my flat. All the documents and the money for the SIM card was collected by a Vodafone guy from my same flat. Today I went to Vodafone Store for further enquiry. I was really stunned and frustrated when the customer care executive asked me to apply again through her. She told me that if I do that then my number would be converted to post paid within 2 days. I have already paid Rs. 500 for the sim card and have visited Vodafone Store thrice but all my labor and time went in vain.

                              Plz see to it and take proper action ASAP if possible.

                              recently i received a call from vodafone about providing me internet usage services on my number [protected], which i clearly refused.
                              After a day ot two my internet service plan was automatically activated of rs. 21,
                              after a few more days Rs. 96 plan was also activated by itself on 1 jan, 2011 n deducted from my account.
                              now when i called the customer care, they speak of some policy n say now those cannot be refunded.

                              i went to a vodafone dealer to get my account recharged,

                              i asked him for the full value plans, to which he told me they were above 500 Rs. denomination,
                              then i asked him to gt me a talktime value of 100 or Rs 150.
                              he got me recharged with 150 which got me 1500 free vodafone to vodafone local minutes.
                              these were totally worthless for me,
                              the dealer was himsel[censored]naware of such scheme, n when asked why did he gt me the special recharge done, he answered that i asked him to do so.
                              i reported the whole incidence to vodafone store, they gave me a nodal number for complaint of dealers [protected]. the nodal officer refused that it is not done at their office , n asked nme to call 111 customer care, and lodge a complaint there.
                              when i called 111 , they told me that such a complaint can not be lodged with them also.
                              i donot know where to complaint about the dealer.

                              I am totally frustrated with the company's behaviour n feel completely helpless.
                              i have incurred a loss of 300 rs, in 1 week of no usage..kindly help me.

                              Vodafone — asking for bill when i have reported the loss of sim 2 yrs back

                              I have been using four vodafone connections for past 4 yeaars...in august 2007 i lost a postpaid sim.
                              At that time i went to vodafone cleared all unpaid bills( i have entry in passbook)
                              and told them to close the connection.
                              I was taken in confidence that my connection has been closed and i did not get any bills from vodafone for 6 months. but after that i got a bill which had all rent in it and no usage charges.
                              i went to vodafone store they excepted their mistake and siad that they have waved off the bill and connection has been closed.
                              but now after 8 mnths i have started recieving calls from them regarding a balance amount of 2020 bugs to be paid and they are saying that these are usage charges.
                              just because of that they have closed one of my working numbers.
                              i am really disgusted by their service and people who handle them..
                              now dont know what to do every time they call they say that they are putting a legal case against us..

                                I have asked vodafone to channge my current rental plan from 249 to another plan. however vodafone is providing incorrect and un useful mail which do not address my issue. i have constant maield them to provide correct information but they provide the same reply without even reading my email. i am unable to change my plan which is causing substantial loss to me of the tune of 10000 per month and mental harassment

                                They have also activated 3G service which i have never asked. i only asked for 2G GPRS pack @98 per month. they are now charging me for their mistake.

                                Guess what?

                                Someone tried calling me today and were welcomed with a tamil message inviting that person to copy my caller tune. Only after this message was the call connected to me and this is happening for EVERY SINGLE CALL. When I called customer service, I was informed that it was done with the intention of creating AWARENESS.

                                Of course, they're succeeding in creating awareness - Awareness that they're up to slimy, shady and downright cheap tactics to garner additional revenue.

                                Well, I'm just waiting for number portability to become active in India and I will hopefully be the first and certainly not the last to switch from Vodafone.

                                Vodafone — Not allowing to contact Customer Care

                                I want to launch an official compliant against my telecom service provider - Vodafone, for not allowing me to interact with the customer care department for the last 20 days.

                                This is regarding my mobile service provided by Vodafone. About 20 days ago I wanted to speak with the customer care department but when i dialed the toll free number the IVR did not allow me to speak with them. After trying several times, I had to call the customer care department from a different phone, which was a paid call for me. It was on this call that i was assured that the service will be retained in 30 minutes. However when i tried calling them today and the same problem, the IVR will not let me talk to the customer care - when i select that option it says, invalid entry and returns to IVR.

                                I see this as a serious violation of my consumer rights as it is a basic right of a consumer to be able to talk to the service provider regarding the service which is usually pathetic.

                                Please advice how can take this matter against Vodafone, whose service has usually been pathetic in my last six months o[censored]sing the service.

                                        (By changing the plan the rate changes from 50paise to 30 paise that would save me around 250 - 300 rupees per month. So they dont respond because they dont want to lose this extra money).

                                        But in Vodafone they cheat the customer by changing the tariff in every 3 months. my earlier plan was to call Vodafone at 10 ps per min, to other network was 30 ps per min. That is with the recharge of 42 rs. But now i am being charged 1rs per min for every call. I have called the customer care people many times but no response.. The customer care executive place my call in hold..

                                        And I have sent a message on 4th of jan 2012 to port my number to other network but the company is not providing me the port number .
                                        I am really feed off with there service please help me to get my port number or get the same tariff..

                                        So u asked me to trust and now after 7 days still i got only reference number but nothing done..
                                        So this story was initially delayed by 45 days now added up with 7 more gone to 52 days (yes plan to celebrate)..
                                        Ok number portability has been initialised atleast do that quicker..
