I was using Vodafone's corporate post-paid connection for almost 4 years from 2008. Like any other mobile service providers in India Vodafone was never behind in the race of charging customers for services which they never asked for. I somehow managed to continue with my post-paid connection even after facing such problems multiple times.

In December 2012 when Vodafone made a mistake in my bill and even after providing them enough evidences on the extra amount that I was charged for Internet usage they were adamant to revert back the charges and send my an updated bill.

But Vodafone kept on sending me bills every month with late payment charges on the balance amount. By this time my Vodafone connection was still not deactivated and I was able to receive incoming calls, which were mostly from Vodafone representatives.

The mistake in my December month’s bill – they charged me for internet usage at 10p/10KB rate, Note: I had a VMC 299 internet plan activated at that time and I had asked them to switch me over to Rs.99 internet plan. This service never got activated on my number but they did deactivate my VMC299 plan so I was charged at 10p/10KB for about 20 days in the month of December 2012.

I was suggested by a Vodafone representative to wait until I get the December month’s bill and then call up Vodafone customer care to sort out the problem and get and updated bill. They did send me an updated bill afterwards but the correction in the amount was not what it should have been and I was still being charged for something which was a mistake from their end! I refused to pay the bill.

After 4 months now in April 2013, I got a letter from High court advocate (Harish S Gore) which says that his Client, Vodafone will be taking legal action against me if the outstanding amount is not paid ASAP. I am still not going to pay a penny to Vodafone India Limited. If they plan to take legal action, I am prepared and ready to provide details on all communications with customer care during that period.

Just wanted to warn and inform everyone about the ill practices of Vodafone India Limited which entered India back in 2007 by not paying capital gain tax of Rs. 11,200 Cr to GOI, which has now grown up to Rs. 20,000 Cr.

Vodafone- postpaid connection — Post paid connection not activated even after 20 days of proper application

Hi !

Evenafter applying for a vodafone postpaid connection and the necessary cv done 20 days back, I have not yet been given the services promised( infact not yet activated). Adding to this they collect a deposit of Rs, 600 even before the application gets logged in.

I suggest pls dont go for a vodafone postpaid connection.

Vodafone mobile number — Servicing of Product & false information

I am using Vodafone mobile number [protected] and facing a lot of problem with company. They activate tunes three times in my mobile. and 4 Jne 2008 the had colleted advence 250/- for converting my number in postpaid . Niether they retun the money nor convert my number in post paid after regulat followup.

I have tried twiceto make a complaint to regarding this issue but I had not responded, voice mail registered my concern and ask to be contacted later within 2 hours time. I have not contacted after that time.I am very pleased if some body tell and explain me about my last month charged. waiting for a call.

Vodafone India Ltd. — complaint against postpaid connection

dear sir/madam,
my name is waish khan R/o 28 near main road mandawali new delhi i had a vodafone no. [protected] and i had apply for the change it prepaid to postpaid and submit all document and payment regarding this process on 23/02/09, according to vodafone executive my no. will work as postpaid within 48 hours.
but my prepaid no. is dead and i havn't received any other or ulternate no. and they don't receive my calls.

False Connection — Neighbour has taken wrong connection

Actually my Neighbour is in Police deptt. & he is taken electiricity connection by using KATIYA from TWO sides.
To avoid something wrong which can be held in future as RAINY season is there but he can't listen anything.
I have already complained this to our near by Jankipuram Electricity Board they are saying Plz lodge your complaint to Vigilance Department

Vodafone Connection — Billing problem

I was hutch customer (+[protected] in year 2001 (One of the old customer) and then became Vodefone customer by virtue of acquisition. Here is what the customerism I have got from Vodefone.

From year 2004, I became elligible for corporate connection and the same connection was transferred to corporate connection scheme. So my company used to pay my telephone bills. I resigned from this company in Mar'2010 and before leaving the company I had given repeated reminders to Vodefone, Kolkata to clear all my bills from that company till I leave the company. As I knew that once I leave the company any pending bills can not be paid by the company as I am out of their payroll. I had continued the same number from Apr'201 in my personal name and that is why I was keen to close all the pending bill in corporate connection. Thye didn't give enough attention at that time and suddenly they thought that it is very easy to claim the pending bill from an individual and taken to the route.

For last couple of months Myself and my family members have been harresed like anything. Initially Vodefone thought that the people don't want to change the number and if they stop the connection then I am bound to pay. Still I did not paid the pending amount as I was not supposed to pay. In Sept'2010 Vodefone discontinued my connection and started following up myself and my family members why I am not paying it. I have given them the history of pending bills and everytime I interact with new person from Vodefone I have to telll the same story and then they didn't turned up.

Last time I have given offer to Vodefone that if you guys declare that "The pending bill till Mar'2010 was supposed to be paid by corporate but as they haven't paid the same, being the customer of same number new customer is paying" Once they give this statement I will pay the same and close the connection to take happy exit from Vodefone. Again that guy from Vodefone didn't turned up.

Recently I got a mail from Vodefone that they are going to take legal action against me. I am least bothered about that as I know what I am doing is right. In case Vodefone wants to go to court I am ready to go and want to see the end of it.

To me it was very simple. In case you say the corporate connection is to be paid by corporate and not an individual, then why Vodefone is not charging it to corporate.

Vodafone — Rates drop but still charged higher amount

I started using the Blackberry data plan a year & half back. It was an Unlimited data plan @ Rs1099/- per month. Sometime in August 2010 or so the plan rate was dropped from Rs1099/- to Rs 599/- per month. However, I continued to be charged Rs1099/- till Feb '11. When I called vodafone I was told I would get a call back in 1 hour. No call came for one week. Then I wrote to some email from vodafone where a lady called after 2-3 days. Her reason for me being charged Rs1099 was because I had not called & informed them to change plan.

Bottom line...Plan was the same..Unlimited data Plan...cost changed from Rs1099/- to Rs 599/-. What if the plan rates had gone upto Rs 1500/- . Would vodafone still have charged me Rs1099/- just cause I did not call them.

Vodafone — Sending me bills every month after deactivation

Inspite of many complaints vodafone people are sending me bills after deactivation of my numbers [protected] & [protected] .Its been more than 4-5 months that i deactivated these numbers, They still send me bills everymonth. I companied many times and they say its updated in the system..I hate vodafone services..I request you all to not to go for vodafone connections..

Vodafone — services not activated from past 11 days and false information providing

on 2nd january i requested for postpaid connection for the same number that i am using. i got the sim and paid rs 250 as security. but since then i have had almost 5 telephonic verificatins but my no has not been activated. on being from the customer care executives i was told that home verification was negative that means that there was no one at home when they personally verify the address. but according to me i was present at my address. then again i told them to verify my address and they said that within two days my address will be verified but nothing happened and when i asked them they me that they had come at 9 am on 9th january but there was no one at home and they said thay asked mr chopra but he didint give any good response. but mr chopra lives in delhi and he wasnt even here in faridabad. so false inforation was provided to me. since thein i have visited vodafone stores but no help has been provided to me.

Vodafone postpaid mumbai — Not deactivating connection and sending bills even after disconnection

Hi Consumer Complaints,

I was using vodafone corporate plan while i was in mumbai. I had to move to another city hence i had to deactivate the account, so i dropped a mail regarding the same in October 2011 after paying the complete dues. Inspite of repetitive mails on the same i am still receiving the bills with late patment fees continuosly. Please sort the issue.

HAHAHAHA I understand exactly how you feel as I have rcvd a similar mail from this Haresh Gore and I have sent a stinker message to him saying his client is an !@#$%^&* and that they can take me to 100 courts d world over and I'd still not pay them for the mistake of the imbecilic Vodafone staff who they have picked up straight out of schools and don't know what they are talking about
call up their call center for any billing problem and all you'll get to hear from the other side of the phone is sorry for the trouble blah blah blih blih and your problem is still not solved.
go to pay your dues and their staff refuses to accept your payment stating its not within the billing cycle and I tell them I'm off- out of the country and then how will you chase me for the payment...but no the dumb madam refuses to understand. and now they serve me with a notice which I have used it as a toilet paper.
I did a search on this Haresh Gore and nothing came out of it so I believe he's some sidey advocate Vodafone has appointed to send standard notice to people to scare them but then there are people like you and me who don't scare easily
and even fools know to take any one to court is nothing less than 10 k which is way more then our dues...so why would they spend 15k to recover 5k?(hypothetic)

Then i have decided to close this no. forever and for the same i have marked a email many of times but no. revert from Mr. Rajesh Gupta who is Team leader of Vodafone.

But without any intimation they disconnect my no. and after checking with the tele. executive i found my no. got suspended due to outstanding amount. I was willing to pay the outstanding amount and short out this issue. Hence i have decided to pay but still got many a calls from executive and they are harassing me very badly.
They did send me an updated bill afterwards but I was still being charged for something which was a mistake from their end! I refused to pay the bill.

After 2 months now yesterday 2013, I got a letter from High court advocate (Harish S Gore) which says that his Client, Vodafone will be taking legal action against me if the outstanding amount is not paid ASAP. On the High Court advocate( Mr. Harish S. Gore) mentioned tow mobile no. [protected]/[protected] both no. is usually switch off. I had a word with Mr. Irfan yesterday on [protected] and he has given me wrong id for forwarding me to all correspondence.

I tried to forward the details due to wrong id i got bounce back, hence tried to call on his no. [protected] but no. is switched off.

I have been using the service for close to 15 years now and have contributed to huge revenue on Vodafones part.

I have been cheated and taken advantage of for being an old customer.
Over the past 2-3 years, I have been using yearly internet plan and pay for it annually also. Suddenly one fine day Vodafone decides to disconnect my yearly subscription and switch me over to open usage rates when I have not even asked for it. I have not been informed or taken authorization for disconnection of yearly plan or activation of full rate usage.
You can see in the account details that I have been using data services for the last few years, yet your representatives insist that there was and is no data plan active on my number. I find this highly questionable and dishonest.

I am really shocked and appalled by the business ethics employed by a supposedly consumer driven company.

Once again, I will not be held responsible for your internal miscommunication and dishonest methods.

I am attaching the mail I sent to you and a few other consumer protection organizations.

I really do not wish to waste any more time on this issue since it has already been pending for almost 2 months now. I hope you do not force me to consult my legal department or escalate the issue on social media sites and gather more vodafone consumers who have been duped and cheated in a similar way.

I hope you can reverse the fraudulent charges immediately and restore my phone services to its usual setting.

I regret to let you know that I am suffering from the worst kind of customer service from Vodafone than I've ever experienced in my life.

The charges mentioned on my account are fraudulent and false and I will not be liable to pay for Vodafones errors/mistakes/frauds.

I have called my relationship manager more than 15 times and with no resolution of the problem. Every time I am assured that I will receive a call 'within 24 hours" and till date I am still to receive any calls from Vodafone.

I have been falsely charged the amount of Rs. 7538.97, which has now increased even more with your fraudulent charges; under the pretext that I had called up vodafone 6 months in advance and asked for deactivation of my internet plan 6 months into the future and apparently Vodafone took my request for 6 months in the future. This is the kind o[censored]nbelievable lies I was told by the representative. Shocking as it sounds, it is complete lies.

On calling again, I was told a different story that there was some technical error on vodafone side and they messed up the data account and did not switch me over to the plan renewal and instead decided without my knowledge or permission to deactivate my currently used data plan and charge me full data rates without any plan.

It has now been over a month and several calls from my side with no resolution. As frustrating and appalling as Vodafone has made the situation, I would like a final resolution of the problem or a switchover to another service provider.

Thanks for forwarding my mail to the concerned authority.

Regretfully, I am still to receive any response from Vodafone.

Every two days I get a call from the billing dept. and I have to explain the situation again, just to be told that "I cant help you, you will receive a call in 48 hours". Not only that, but also there is this annoying pay your bill commentary running every time I try to make a call; which I have to call again and explain the situation to one of your representatives to have them deactivate the bill pay notification on the phone.

Finally, I would like to sum it up for your perusal. The last time I had called Vodafone (since vodafone never bothered to respond to my requests), I was shocked at how many times one can change the blatant lie of a story. The first time I called, I was told that it was me, who called and asked for the disconnection of the plan six months in advance, notice that he only said disconnection even then and not change of plan, on obviously not being able to substantiate these lies they fabricated a newer one, now saying that on expiry of a prepaid data plan it is automatically switched over to max data charges without authorization or intimation. This time I was told that as a SPECIAL GESTURE, I was switched over to maximum open usage charges because I am a valued customer. Somewhere in between, my relationship manager Rajashree presented me with a 30% discount on the fraudulent charges, which I find is a new level of cheapness and desperation to swindle customers. On all occasions, all the representatives I spoke with concurred on one fact, that there was no data plan active on my number, EVER!!; but still they could see data usage; this proves that there is some glitch in your accounting procedure. This is the most unethical and blatantly shameless expression of immorality and cheating I have ever experienced.

I humbly request you to once again to reverse these false charges and help me resume the rather satisfactory service I have been enjoying for the last several years. The false charge has now somehow risen to about Rs. 10000 from Rs. 7500.

Hope you can get back to me with a reasonable solution.

Once again Vodafone has made life miserable for me! This time by completely barring outgoing calls and data on my number only because I did not agree to pay for the fraudulent and fabricated charges on my account.

This situation has now become intolerable. I would like to receive a call immediately to resolve this issue.
I have no words to describe the pathetic service or the lack of it from Vodafone. Its not the staff as much as Vodafone's own immoral practices to fleece its clients and steal from them.

None of my several calls or mails or posts on facebook have helped or made any kind of difference to Vodafone at all. Vodafone is still as unbothered, careless and unscathed in its terrible service; and I am still to receive a call 'within 2 days' since the last month and a half.!!!

This is the kind of pathetic service that a so called telecom giant offers. My next mail and a synopsis of this most disgusting experience is going to be to the Press, TRAI and my lawyers.

Since Vodafone might not care about it customers, I suggest you go through the following attachments to get an idea of what Customer Service means as well as a brief introduction to morals, ethics and acceptable practices!!!

At the end of my wits now about what I can do to get any kind of justice and protection from Vodafone.

It has been more than 2 months since I have been complaining and Vodafone has not bothered to pay heed to any of it. After over 50 phonecalls, 20 mails and social media postings, there is still no response or hint of any concern. Most lethargically, I'm always told that I will receive a call in 2 working days, (still waiting for Vodafones 2 days).

I cant locate all of them since I have so many. This should suffice for now I suppose.

I finally visited the Vodafone store on 19/10/13. The manager over there, Mr. Subhash was completely convinced with the genuineness of my concern and assured me that since it was such a simple and genuine problem it will be fixed immediately and the false charges will be revoked. Surprisingly, after spending 5 minutes in the back office he returned as a transformed person, saying that if I wanted to use my phone I will have to succumb to Vodafone's demands and pay the fraudulent charges.

I have been using 2mbps unltd plan on my number since 2-3 years. Now vodafone refuses the very existance of such a plan. In fact as per the representatives, Vodafone has erased all my previous data usage details and there is no details of start date and end date of my previous ongoing data plan. As you can still see though, there is data usage over the last 3 years but no active data plan. Suddenly vodafone disregards all my previous plan details and prepaid amount thereof and switches me to open usage charges without informing or taking consent. I have explained this multiple times to your representatives and some of them even understand the issue quite clearly and intend to help me out as well but due to the twisted and corrupt policies of Vodafone; are unable to process any genuine cases. And invariably, after being unable to resolve the issue, the candor of the rep changes drastically into someone rude and mean and unfazed.

Falsely charged amount : approx Rs. 11000/-
I have details of all bills paid, since they are paid through my company account. I can very easily prove my point in court if thats where you want to take this. Details of my yearly plan that you have refused the existence of completely. (Ms. Krishna Patel, Appellate desk). and details of my monthly bills that do not show billing for data. and a short recording of your representatives confirming that there has been constant data usage for the last 3 years but no active data plan.

Request for full reversal since I have been on the yearly unlimited plan.

Please refer the mails below to get an idea of the mental trauma and torture caused due to Vodafone and its horribly blatant dishonesty.

Dear Sir,

I am very disappointed by vodafone team's response, wrong billing and harrasment since I have been requested them for plan change earlier than aug 15 as per my usage which were reduced. the vodafone plan previously opted INR1299 which I had requested to vodafone executive to change it some redplan INR600 and he has assured me that it will be done but unfortunately it has not done then after I visited in vodafone koparkhairane gallery where they again told me to call their customer care becouse it can not be resolved in gallery.then after I again called their executive and he told due to server problem it can not done and advised to visit gallery again, again I visited koparkhairane gallery but this time they has provided their relationship manager's contact for resolution, after contacting him, he said this could not happen due to issue in server and regreted. after that I couninously in touch with him daily to resolve this issue at that time billing payment was INR 3000/- but instead of solving this issue vodafone has disconnected my phone services many times, even many times I have requested that please do not disconnect my since there is a lot of calls which are important will be inturrupted but still vodafone has not cared and terminated connection after accepting that it is their mistake (server problem).still I continoues to keep on reminding vodafone team whenever they sent bills for payment that I will definately pay the bill never said I did not but the matter which I as a customer expect to resolve in proper manner has not done.finally I have recived a legal notice by vodofone to pay the bill of INR 5007 within 7 days otherwise we will be force to pay18% additional ammount over and above INR 5007.0. sir, This is the telecom company like vodafone who dont care about customer's problem and they arrange to send legal notice wihtout understanding the customer issues and resolving them in fair manner.Mr Harish Gore(adv highcourt-vashi) is looking this legal case.I can show several mail communication made by me to vodafone but not a single assurance recived. I would request to look at this serious issue and help us to resolve.

    I have visited www.shop.vodafone.com on 25th April 2013. I choose 222 plan for recharge on my mob no. [protected].

    The benefits shown for 222 recharge in the website are Rs. 220 Talkime in core balance and 300 Local Night V2V Seconds, TT Valid for Lifetime and Seconds valid for 1 day & Validity of TT is for Life time.

    But when I bought this recharge, I have received Rs. 197.57 Talktime only. I have not received any other benefits.

    Vodafone Prepaid — Prepaid not get active

    I had used your nonsense service as Postpaid [protected]. I request to migrated prepaid. I paid my os bill at all. still Negative O/s Rs.250. I received sim card from NSG Engg.. for Prepaid Sim NO.[protected]. This is new sim for Prepaid Migration. Still not get activated the mini store person. I have spoke with MR. Arun (Who is a Great Employee of Vodafone Mini Store) He provide wrong commitments continueosly. I called to him He pick the call and disconnected. For This purpose more thatn 24 times I called. Still Not get active. Can you activate the prepaid or not.

    Vodafone — MISCOMMUNICATION OF PLAN

    This is regarding mis communication of plan for my vodafone no.[protected]. Earlier i have plan of 99 monthly rental. I approach Vodafone's Mall road office in Ludhiana in March 2010 regarding change of plan. I met with Mr. Samrat[protected] for the same. He communicate me that i have to deposit 250/- security and to clear all dues and my monthly rent will be converted to 49 monthly rent. I have done the same. But to my surprise when i got bill for the month of March 2010 and i saw monthly rent of rs.120.97. when i again approach to vodafone store of Mall road i came to know that Mr. Samrat has been transferred to another branch. I met with Ms. Shilpy regarding my problem but again to my surprise she told me that i have to met only with Mr. Samrat and she can't help me. I also lodge a complaint at customer care on 20/04/2010 vide complaint no.[protected] but till date no resolution received. I request you to look into the matter and resolve the problem at the earliest. My contact no. is[protected]

    I used Postpaid without any benifits for d past 5 yrs, Recently i migrated my postpaid no to prepaid no.They disconnected my call before my billing cycle closes.Being d golden customer i produced my bill copy for proof, they r not accepting there own network ID Proof, see this is d fate of vodofone network. Untill now they haven't activated my prepaid sim for my usage. This is the customer care relation between d people.

      Hi,

      I was incorrectly charged by Vodafone for using their 3G services & was charged an amount of Rs. 18500/- on my bill. I have been using the Vodafone Mobile No. [protected] or the past 7 years on a Corporate Plan provided by the Organisation I work for. All these years, my bill never exceeded Rs. 500/- as I only used the No for making Incoming Calls & Messages. In fact, only because I had the Trust with Vodafone Services, I had opted for the ECS facility on all my 3 nos with them. Although, I had withdrawn my ECS facility for my Vodafone No with the consent of their Customer Service team after confirming that they wont present the cheque in my A/C, I was still charged a penalty by my bank for a bounced Cheque. As I was not ready to pay the amount for Services which were not used by me, I opted to not make the payments until they find a suitable solution for the problem. A lot of mails were exchanged between me & the Nodal Officer team & other complaint departments but to no rescue, they still insisted that I had used the 8GB of Data in a Single Night while I was asleep. I was asked to pay Rs 13,165/- at the end after all possible discounts were offered by them (as I was a LOYAL Customer to them, is what they said).

      At the end I received a Call from one of the Agencies to which the Recovery of my payment was handed over to. They asked me to make a settlement & pay Rs 7,000/- for activating for my services & all the remaining amount will be reversed. I will also be presented with a Reversal Letter in 7 Days once the payment was made. Accordingly, only because of the fact that I want to keep my No. I chose to make the payment onlin on the Vodafone Website. I made the payment, received an acknowledgement from them & its been a month now but my services have neither been activated or they haven't given me any reversal letter.
      Not only did the Agency guy made a false promise, but they haven't been answering my calls or letting me speak to the person whom I spoke to when I try calling from other nos.

      The agency's Name was 'Secure' & the guy I spoke to was Nagendra. This is the BRUTALITY of the situation that customers are treated like slaves & I had to conclude that Vodafone is worst service provider in the Industry given the fact that they play with their Client's money & emotions, in a inapproapriate way. Now, I am getting a call from another Agency & they're asking me to pay another 4,000/- to get the services activated. They also say, that they are sorry for any False Commitments that the other agency had made.

      WHERE SHOULD THE CUSTOMERS GO NOW??? Is my simple question.

        , , as i am privileged customer from the past more than 5 years but now i am disappointed with their services .On 24/04/13 i had been in Singapore and arrived on 25 th april but on arrival when i tried 2 call my balance was in -54.71 .I am an air hostess i traveled abroad frequently , So i have information about when balance would be deduct that is why i never use the internet or incoming call or outgoing call but this time my balance is deducted without any usage.
        When i did a call to customer care 1st they provided me wrong information that its international roaming activation charge ,although ,its a prepaid no..than floor in- charge mr. Manthan replied me that its roaming international pack which ll reduce my call rate in ISD but i am not agreed for this pack so , and he refused to lodge a complaint.
        Why the company is forcing me to avail this pack ?Without my consent the company can not deduct or activate any service or without any prior information or untill unless you made any legal notice in newspaper for compulsory pack . I have sent them mail also but no reply and no action ,So , please take legal step regarding this kind of non-professional attitude

        I had got post paid connection (group card) from your sales marketing people purcahsed from my office.
        As I connected service, I getting three or four calls daily as asking for another person named 'Balaji'. I getting the calls from various banks and his friends regarding the loan which he takes from them.
        I think this post paid connection would be used by another person and was selled to me.
        I am really unhappy with your customer relationship as I already report it even to the same sales person and also to customer care through mobile, still not yet action taken.

        I purchased the vodafone connection on 3rD Jan and since i have a i phone 3g it requires the settings sent by the service provider!( vodafone) .         Vodafone Mobile Service — No proper response

        Dear Sir,
        Recently i got a mail from vodafone saying that to submit the CAF form for old connections. I submitted the document for my mobile # [protected] on 23 Oct 2010 in Begumpet vodafone store.I did not recieve any acknowledgement from them while submitting. Even nobody has recieved any acknowledgement on that day. And more over there was no information what kind of documents they are going to accept. Even after submitting my documents, they deactivated my CLIP service on[protected]. When i asked customer care to activate the CLIP service, they were telling that we require CAF #, as i did not recieve acknowledgement for that, i visited Bugempet vodafone store and aksed about my CAF #, they told that we don't have any information on that now. They were aksing me to resubmit documents and service will be activated in 15 mins. Finally i resubmitted the documents. Still my service CLIP service is inactive and getting alerts to resubmit the documents.

        This is my complaint to Vodafone regarding GPRS monthly pack of Rs. 95. I recharged my account within expiry period (twice, mind you,to be safe). And then, money started getting deducted from my account for GPRS use. 100's of account balance within minutes. Lodged a complaint but they only refunded the money, and did not activate/corrected my GPRS pack. I had to recharge again for GPRS small packs of Rs.16 (twice after a gap of 3 days), but within that period, too, my original pck wasn't active. I did my recharge for 95Rs again after 10 days, but, same problem. Now, I have negative balance in my account (becoz 133 rs. were deducted for 5 minutes of GPRS use). I have talked to six different people in Vodafone but to no avail.

        Kindly solve this problem if you can.

        Vodafone — deduction of charges for no service at all

        I, Ankita Jain, am using Vodafone No. [protected]. On 20/4/2011 I had complained about non provision of the Blackberry services despite charging for the same. this was activated after 3 days, after numerous complaints and personally visiting the store in Connaught Place. But further to the problem, the very next morning ,on 23/4/2011 my phone balance turned Rs.-367 for simply no reason. It caused me a lot of trouble as i didnt have any means early in the morning to recharge my phone and was unable to make any call or even send a text.

        I have already given a complaint regarding this on the customer care, Complaint No. 15987009.

        Looking forward for a quick response for the same.

        I am post paid user of Vodafone mobile service.In my May month bill one entry shows its ISD call but TWO minutes charges is RS 200.I don't understand why per minute charges is 100 rupees.Is there any specific guidline for charges .Normally i am doing ISD call which charges is RS10 per minute while in this case why this much charges is tehre?

        I have recharged my phone with rs 14/-..which gives the value of 200mb mobile data usage with 3 days validity..I then used internet from my mobile and my balance was deducted..It came from rs 88 to rs 0..

        So I want a full refund of my total money with charges which will be put on the company ie vodafone…

            I approached Vodafone for 3G internet service for my Ipad mini. i was offered a 550 Postpaid plan in which I get 3GB data at the speed of 3G and after the consumption of the same my speed would be reduced at 2G at NO COST. So it was the unlimited data plan for my nano sim. After the first bill cycle I was to be shifted on a INR 800 plan by default . But the representative apparently activated me on a plan where in i will be charged after i consume my 3GB data on 3G.

            After the first bill cycle is complete they Barr my services without a single notification. And they shockingly slap me with a bill of INR 8,000/- apparently I overused my data during the cycle and that is why they barred my service too. A week before i would be conveyed about the bill and data usage i kept calling the vodafone customer service, a many times, and kept receiving fake deadlines and completely different answer every time.
            Finally frustrated with the barred service, thousand calls, and a shocking bill amount i move to the Vodafone store in Lower Parel, Mumbai, where in they assure me that the problem would be solved and they regret the inconvenience. Some MAYURI girl, vodafones representative, calls me the same day and assures that the issue would be taken care of. And she would get back to me within two days with a revised bill. (Kindly note that they have a provision of sending the bill via email and they also had an error in my email address because of which I never really received the bill. i also had it corrected and checked) even after that its been around three weeks now and I haven't received the bill. Also today the MAYURI girl calls back stating that it was my fault too and thus have to pay INR 4,000/-

            Seriously guys, it is such a disgrace. Don't you think taking an action against the employee at the Vodafone store, Kalyan, who explained me a different plan and activated me n a different plan, is the one to face the consequences and not me?! Get real and solve this issue right away. I am not eligible to pay a single penny extra. Thats customer harassment. Fraud.

            The complain is regarding false offer, i was told by the executive that i would be getting a plan of 2000 sms free to any vodafone with a monthly rental of 66rs which i accepted and 200 sms free to any other provider. But when i got my first bill i got only 1000 sms free as the per the bill and they have charged me for extra 1000 sms, I have spoken to them so many times, have sent so many mails. They they started sending me a lot of legal letters which i didnt bother, i am ready to go the consumer court for this too, i dont care even to go the media because i can bring down the company with a very bad name. They started threaning me too and telling that we would file a case over the phone and coming to my house and telling all such things, i dont care a damn. Please i hope someone looks into this matter as the companies like vodafone there has to be an action taken against this company .

            I am a general user not a corportae plan user.i activated VMC+VL 2 GB(10p/10kb) plan on my postpaid number from 4bunglow vodafone store.the executive named mario n ismile told me that this plan is fr Rs.99 n i will get 2GB download free per month.the company's call canter guy rajesh says it's for Rs.299 n then i went to the store again the same day and an executive named nandan said its a deviated plan of Rs.99 only abd it will appear on my final bill....nw when i see the bill they have charged me 299+ more charges for internet whereas i have used internet and downloaded only 97MB.
            nandan said that i will be charger Rs.99 only when my bill is generated.

            I am Anubhav and bought a new number of Vodafone, however the number was activated after a number of follow ups. Right now I have issue with them regarding the GSM activation. I tried to contact and speak with number of executives, however didn't get any response from their end. I have also visited their stores twice with no resolution to my problem.

            You can do two things now either pay the bill and forget or just dont pay anything. If you choose the second thing you have to be very firm as a series o[censored]nexpected events ill happen. But they all will take place to harass you and make you pay but nothing legally could be done to you. In case you recieve any letter just ignore it. There is no rule by indian govt on unsecured loans. But remember one thing in future your credit score will be effected ie through CIBIL. This answer is for everyone with same issue. Know your rights
            Your representative Mayuri already has the contact details. I am not sharing it again. Get this sorted.
            @Nishantmt I completely buy your point. What frustrates me is that the only cause of the whole error is negligence of that particular representative at Vodafone store at Kalyan, who lodged me for a wrong plan. Instead of punishing him, these guys are upto harrassing their customers. What makes it worse is their attitude towards their customers with greviences. They should be more proactive and honest with their answers. And definitely be more responsible when they flaunt themselves as a company that is "happy to help"

              My mobile number is [protected]. I am using this number since last six years as a post paid connection and my average monthly bill remains between Rs.1500- Rs.2000.

              For the period 11.03.2013 to 10.04.2013 (billing circle) I received bill for Rs.21006/- which is 10-14 times of my average monthly bill. Vodafone customer care executive told me that the same is due to internet uses. However during said period internet facility was not available for aprox. 15 days on my mobile.

              Through mobile I generally check my mails and operate facebook and replying of mails, downloading, etc are being done through my office laptop, thus I am having always minimum uses of internet from my mobile. I do only necessary things from my mobile and according to my uses I have taken 1GB/Rs.250/- data plan.

              I sought clarification in this respect from the Vodafone through emails but my every e-mail has been replied by their set language and no specific answer was given to me. They failed to give me the proper clarification. There is lot of harassment from Vodafone side. They barred my services. They are sending again and again payment reminder this is really not tolerable things.

              I need solution, company like Vodafone is doing robbery work by charging any amount to the customers.

              Vodafone — unjustified charging

              Myself Ishu Singhania, I am using Voafone cellular ([protected]) services for last 2 months. I have opted for 1paisa per second plan, but I have noticed that Vodafone is charging me more than the time used by me. Earlier I thought that it was by mistake but now in every call they are charging me more that the talk time in seconds.

              Kindly take corrective actions against it, as there must be many users who are being charged unjustifiedly by the service provider.

                For about five years, a regular ECS payment has been made and no complaint so far, As the bill is generated, it goes to Bank directly, Now if some payment has not been made, let me know properly, that you send the bill, for which payment has not been received, I shall make the payment.
                The answer your customer care people give me is that my cheque has got bounced. When I don't pay any cheque, how can it get bounced?
                Please check the fault at your end and send the bill to Canara Bank, It shall be paid, Even for the current month, you are going to send the bill, you may send both the bills.
                I am very sorry to listen to repeated,announcements for different information. It should be stopped, when I am talking to some of your executive.

                I have been using vodafone(hutch) no from last 5 years.I got my vodafone mobile connect activated under corporate scheme(GECIS).according to which in RS 399
                i am allowed to download(unlimited) through Internet.however when i have received the bill.
                i am charged for both the plan amount"rs 399" as well as the usual charges which are charged under normal connection.which is not correct.

As on 25/4/2008 I have send a Sms for local call @ One Rupees. But scheme is not activated. Then I have re-send the Sms as on 5/4/2008 9.15 am. Then I call to customer care they told me we have not received any request from your side. Then I have re-send Sms as on 9/4/2008 7.26 am. But after doing all efforts the scheme is not activated. I made several calls to customer care as on 14/4/2008. I have talked with Miss Jatinder Kaur, Mr. Sunil & two another persons but have hold my calls for long time and could not do any thing and call was disconnected all times. After some time I have received a sms from your side “Hello your service registration is[protected], we shall respond your query by 18th April 2008 6.00 pm” My problem is not solved yet. I am very upset and unhappy. Tell me one thing what mistake I have done to Purchase a connection from Vodafone Company. I am using another numbers from Spice and Airtel but I have no compliant from them. You are ordered to solve this problem and refund my all money deducted by your company above charged at local calls. Other wise i made your complaint to media as well as to your company’s directors.

                Vodafone Mobile Connection — Vodafone Network Coverage - Most Unreliable and incompetent service/Customer Care Ever offered

                Hi,

                This is a note to Vodafone. I have been a customer to your services for the last 4 years. Although the service so far have been non incidental but the last 6 months have been not only taxing on my time and efforts in recieving/making a call but also the customer care service that you vodafone has provided has been simply disgusting.
                I have had no network coverage for the last 6 months in either my home or my office area. Also, more than 80 % of my calls get dropped randomly, most of them being very important calls.
                Due to this, i have been constantly calling vodafone customer care without recieving any promised response from them. No action has been taken to resolve this issue or even find out the details of it.
                More than that, your customer care executives have been outrightly rude and unprofessional in dealing with their valued customers.
                This is not a one case incident as 90% of my peers in office having vodafone connection are now at a stage where they cannot use their mobile phones while in the office premise.

                I also tried to get in touch with your Nodal office to speak to either Mr. C P Joshi or Mr. Ravi S. They were not ready to speak to me directly. Their assistants rudely reminded me to call the customer care and not the nodal office despite the fact that i had filed my complaint and was not given a docket number.
                Now i have lost my patience and so have the other employees in my office. We (almost 800 o[censored]s) have decided to cancel the corporate deal wioth vodafone and subscribe to Airtel. Some o[censored]s who have already done so realize that the network coverage is much better and services are reliable.
                I do hope you realize that your corporation sucks in the only thing that you claim to be good at - Network Coverage. You should really think about changing your advertizing strategy or else sell it before you drown.
                This is just the beginning. I will blog further and attach all emails that i sent to your nodal officers which is the highest level of escalation that you claim to have. I am also going to forward these mails to other organizations in my industry through my peer groups so that people will know how pathetic your services have become.
                I completely agree . I too have been a customer of Vodafone / Hutch services for more than 4 years. And last month i have subscribed to new number, since VodaFone is announced a new scheme called [protected]@1 which is little cost effective. My other connections have different tarrif plans whcich is proved to be more expensive. I decided to go for this new Scheme and I have explained to the executive clearly what I want.

                After almost a month of extensive use of my new number (thinking that i am using [protected]@1) I see a whopping bill amount.
                After reliazing the fact...with lot of irritation ii called up 111...I hear something...whcich Irritated me more "HAPPY TO HELP YOU"

                I fully agree with Priyanka. I too have the vodafone connection since 2003. There is nothing like valued customer to them. Either you are 1 day old customer or a 10 year old customer, this hardly matters to them. I was never late in making payments to the vodafone bill, untill one day it happened after 3 years that i wasn't able to make payments before the due date and these people imposed a fine of 100 Rs. When I argued with the customer care, they simply refused that it can not be reverted and finally i have to pay them extra. Network Coverage is simply . Reliance OR Idea is a better option than vodafone. I do not favour Airtel also as there customer care is Hell.
                Neither my girlfriend or I can use our mobiles phones in our own home or infact in or to near to most buildings.
                This is unnacetable as i use this number to receive possible work, friends and family are fed up of not being able to get hold o[censored]s or have a proper conversation with us.
                I pay the full amount only to get half a service, on these grounds will i be able to end existing contract so i can take one out with another company that actually provides network coverige enabling me to make and receive phone calls.

                VODAFONE MOBILE CONNECTION — Rs.30/- being deducted every month without any reason

                Rs. 30/- is being deducted by Vodafone mobile centre without any reason. You are requested to please stop it and do not deduct the same.

                Vodafone Mobile Connection — useless;customer care

                i have been using the prepaid card in my vodafone mobile. last week i recd a call suggesting me to opt for post paid as there were some benefits. customer care called me up atleast 2/3 times to opt for postpaid i agreed personnel from vodafone immediately came over to my residence and collected the cash for transferring from prepaid to postpaid i.e on 4th august 2009 on 6th august i recd my sim card and was told that the transfer would be made immdtly however now 6 days have passed the sim card has not been activated. when i called the toll free no they informed me that there was some technical fault and hence the sim card cannot be activated. i was told that the person who referred this scheme to me would call me but there has been no call from them.

                If there was some technical fault in activating the sim card then it is the duty of the customer care to inform the customer regarding the problem. But after follow up also i have not recd any response.

                Sorry but i request you to kindly cancel my order for postpaid and refund the amount of Rs 300 paid by me immediately as i am not interested in your offers. and henceforth pl do not trouble your customers with offers which cannot be fulfilled by you.

                SINCE LAST ONE WEEK WE ARE REQUESTING YOUR CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE KOLKATA THROUGH MAIL AND ALSO OVER PHONE FOR DE-ACTIVATION OF VMC PLAN 250 FROM OUR PHONE NO - [protected], WHICH DIDN'T WORKED AT ALL ON OUR HANDSET. EVERY TIME I AM BEING TOLD THAT THE ACTION WILL BE TAKEN WITHIN 48 HRS. BUT TILL TODAY THE DEACTIVATION HAS NOT EXECUTED. HOW LONG AND HOW MANY TIMES WE HAVE REQUEST?

                Hi,

                I am a vodaphone user and am receiving messages and announcements while I make call on submitting address proof documents.

                On March 28th I did submit the docuements at Domlur Vodaphone shop still the issue persists.

                I did call customer service who told me to check with Vodaphone shop.On 15th April 2010,the Vodaphone shop confirmed that they had received my document and address proof and sent a mail to the customer service informing to release the announcement which I am receiveing on my phone.

                Today is the 21st of April still the issue persists,if we call the customer service not sure if the call gets cut or if they cut it,if we ask for supervisor they put us onhold for over 30 mins and automatically the phone get cut.
                The announcement is taking the first 5-10 secs of call we are making before connecting which is very difficult please assist

                Iam your well wisher and wish to tell you something important.Your retail outlet in matunga mumbai-19 is not functioning well and there are a lot of irregularities going on in that outlet.
                They are giving mobile connections to just anybody without proper verification or to anyone who
                does not have a PAN card or a ration card or a indian passport.
                I know of a german national whose name is Rajan Mahadevan and his wife Krista Mahadevan
                both who do not hold indian passports or have any identity proof in India have been given
                mobile connections by your retail outlet in Matunga just by paying some extra money.
                This is a serious offence in which the security of our country is at stake.We all know that
                our country is being eyed by pakistani terrorists and after the 26/11 carnage we have to
                be more careful.We as citizens should help the police in doing their job only then can the
                law enforcement agencies function.Without our cooperation nothing is possible for them.
                Hence I request you to take IMMEDIATE action on your retail outlet in matunga and bring
                to book all the people involved in this shameful crime.

                VODAFONE MOBILE CONNECTION — MISBEHAVE WITH PARENTS OF USER

                My deghauter Sonal Agarwal was using your mobile services till March 2011. Subsequently she went to USA. Last week, I received a call from Pooja, a employee from your office and told very abruptly that last bill of mobile use is pending. When I asked her that to give me details thereof so that I can enquire from my deghauter. Next day she again rang to me when I was at meeting and she used very harsh word like unprofessional. I request her that I have told my deghauter and need not so panic and it will be paid soon. Next day in the first hour of office she again rang and asked that bill has not been paid. This is very irritating attitude on the part of your staff, because after communication your staff may kept some patience in payment of bill. I thought to tell her to send the FAX o[censored]npaid bill to me, but on her bad talking, I postpone my idea because she threatned me to see the consequences thereof. Today once again I received a call from Mobile No. [protected] without disclosing her name but using very abusive language which is not at all acceptable. May I know that while giving the assignment to your staff to handle such matter, any training of behaviorial science is given. Please reconcile and take appropriate action.                     Hi, I had recently ported my Airtel mobile no: [protected] to Vodafone India.
                    The plan i was offered initially was:
                    Rs. 299 Rental,
                    800 minutes calling (additional 50p/min - all India)
                    100 Sms (Local+National)

                    After a week of processing, i finally got network on my Vodafone Sim just to find out that they ported my no. to a data card service. Now my number is blocked from communication (calls + sms) and only Data is active.

                    When enquired for the same:
                    Dealer is not answering the calls correctly,
                    Vodafone customer care doesn't know whats wrong and keeps pushing me to Vodafone Gallery
                    Vodafone Gallery guys don't want to help (even though they wear 'Happy to Help' T-shirts)

                    Finally after wasting my 2 hours in Vodafone Gallery, The customer care executive said that the no. will still be blocked for 5-6 Days. and even after that they are not sure that I'll be getting the MNP plan.

                    The plan that they offered me:
                    Rs. 399 Rental,
                    800 Min's. (Additional 50p Local - 1Rs STD)
                    0 SMS

                    Really upset with the way Vodafone India is treating its new customers.

                    I have applied for mobile no. portability from Dolphin to Vodafone on 4/7/11 at Vodafone Darya Ganj opposite Golcha Cinema Delhi.I was made to understand that with in seven days Vodafone will be my service provider.Today is the tenth day nobody is in a position to tell me the status.Vodafone helpline told that request has not reached.Vodafone spend so much on advt. showing and claiming to be no. one mobile service provider.It will be better to vodafone company to pay some attention on providing services.

                      I have moved from Vodafone to Airtel using mobile portability option. Its been more than 6 months and still the security deposit and additional amount I paid in the final bill is not returned by Vodafone. When I called their customer care, they gave false information that the amount will be automatically transferred to Airtel account. Even this did not happen and TRAI rules says service provider has to return with in 2 . Please help me to get the amount back from Vodafone.

                          As I am going through my Vodafone bill for the month of April 2013 ,I was shocked to see that my bill was Rs.2811 which includes usages charges of Rs1600,Roaming charges 237 and late payment charges of 100.I am having following issues with bill.
                          1.Usage charges of Rs.1600 was pertaining to internet usage.I am having a plan of Rs 49 wherein I am getting 500 MB data.I had received a alert on 6 April 2013 that I used around 600 MB data.Immediately contacted to customer no and had word with Mr Shekhar Patil that why I was not sent alert before using my entire limit.was this done purposely to charge more to the customer.I was told by vodafone while opting for this internet plan,that I should be receiving alert sms which was not done.So it would be reversed once bill is generated.However it was not done.
                          2.Why there was roaming charges when I was assured time and again by Vodafone department that there shall not any roaming charges within Maharashtra and Goa after availing Roam like Home.still I was charged with roaming charges.
                          3.Late payment was due to levy of roaming charges in previous bills and matter was under dispute and I was told as per telecommunication with your department that matter is resolved and Now I have to pay only Rs.700 which was done in last month

                          I humbly request to you reverse above charges as these charges are not acceptable to me.

                          Further I had number of discussion with Vodafone services still no communication is provided to me.

                          This is with reference to the above mentioned complain about Vodafone services.In spite of all my efforts to resolve the issue, Vodafone is just not willing to do the same.I am not ready to pay the charges levid on my bill as I was not provided with help to check my usage limit.I have paid Rs.600 as a token to clear the issues.

                            This is Laxmikant aND my no. is [protected]. When I signed up for the plan SME_KAR_899, the executive told me that I will get 4000 min free including STD and Roaming (M to M aND M to LaND line). I got a bill of Rs1612 continuously for the 2ND month in a row aND when I approach Customer service or the store regarding the same, they say they don't have any information regarding the plan details to look in to my issue or file a dispute on the bill being high. I am asked to draft a mail to corpcare.[protected]@vodafone.com to know the plan details aND to dispute the bill. After several attempts I got a mail about the Tariff details, however the information given to me was not matching with the Tariff details sent to me. Even the bill I got for both the months shows that I am charged for everything (making STD calls to LL, Roaming charges etc).

                            Would request you to please look in to this, I will be thankful to you.

                              Please be informed that a recharge of Rs.194/- was done on April 7, 2013. Post that due to bundle offer for Samsung Galaxy Grand, 2GB data on 3G network was activated and the data offered was consumed. Hence, you have been charged for data usage post free usage. Therefore, the charges are authentic and we are unable to reverse the same.

                                  Please send BILL(space)FIRST THREE LETTERS OF THE MONTH (example: MAR) to 144 to get the bill details. Kindly note that you will get the bills that are 0 to 3 months old in 15 days and 3 to 6 months old in 45 days. You will be charged Rs.49/- per bill per month.

                                      I have been using Vodafone postpaid connection from march 2012 till date its my number [protected] in karnataka circle.Recently I have facing the problem for 3G issues,showing Roaming on home network with in Karnataka circle(IDEA,AIRTEL),not connecting toll free numbers like 1800 series,etc.I have registered a complaint againts the above this issues on 10th April 2013 after that they would agreed to resolve those problems within a week but I couldnt get any call from customercare,I have waited more than a week then i called to customer care on 20th April 2013 for know the status of my complaint.I have spoken to customer executive in postpaid division at bangalore.he couldnt ready to provide the information about my complaint status then i have requested to talk his Supervisor but he was not ready to transfer my call then i disconnected my call then again i reconnected to customer care then raised the complaint for bad customer service in my last call conversation.

                                      I am totally dissatisfied in their service and customer support.please kindly do the needful.

                                      I am Mihir using Vodafone service for over a year now and I have used other Telecomm services prior to this. I have never faced so much service problem as in "Number Connectivity error", "Disturbance in Network", "Automatic Call disconnect", "Network Fail" etc. Even wen talking to the other person I cannot hear properly what the other person is speaking, and the newtwork disturbance adds to the worse. I have even changed my handset twice, but no avial from the same. My problem is, even after registering 3 complaints at the vodafone call center they have not even acknowledged the problem. All they say is we will look into the matter without ever coming for a perfect solution for the same.

                                      I am a vodafone prepaid user.I was using bonus card of vodafone for reduced call rates.One day sudnly I realised that vodafone has stopped the benefits of bonus card and they are charging me normal call rates.I called the customer care and they told me that this is due to some problem in our server.they logged my complaint regarding this. when I asked them that would they are going to refund my money which they have charged extra to me( Approx Rs150).

                                      I have activated 5 No. post paid connections on behalf of M/S SANSUN CONTRACTORS PVT.LTD.

                                      Before activation airtel executive Mr. Kamlesh committed that.(a) Conference call will be activated free of cost on three No.at the time of activation---But not done by your end. (b) Roaming will be activated at the time of activation but not done immediate.(c) STD Pack of Rs-36/-to reduce the cost of STDcalls from Rs-1.50/- to Rs-1.00/-will be activated at the time of activation but not done.
                                      In regarding above i also discuss again and again to your executive Ms.Sweety at M/s Teledeals Chandigarh but the situation is same as before.Sweety also commits to activated above but till now i do not know that STD activated. Our 80% calls are STD. Due this I suffer a large amount of bill.I am not happy with your service.
                                      So,Pls request you kindly disconnect all above 5 No. postpaid connections immediate.

And after calling for any queries only electronic machine replies but after 1 hr of pressing 1,2 .... i m connected to and executive but he doesn't give nay response acceept saying call [protected] and press 2 which anly response for language change and telling about their product. What to do. The worse customer service.

                                      Vodafone Postpaid — Worst service

                                      Last month I have taken a Vodafone Post paid connection ([protected]) in that clearly i mentioned by mail id, date of birth & billing address but everything was wrongly updated. in that they have done 2 time home verification, one time mobile verification. When i register complaints there was no responds.

                                        A unknown person from this number [protected] calls regular and disturbing me, and talking also dirty words please ensure your action for the safety security point of view.
                                        I know where you're coming from. I've had calls like that, too, and it's frustrating. Is there any way to get these pranksters behind bars for harassment????
                                        I'm actually getting similar calls from a different phone number. I have already reported it to http://callercenter.com. I wonder if I could make a complaint here, too.
