Vodafone provides provision to online prepaid recharge . So i tried recharging - selected talk time balance amountand gave Mobile Number to recharge and clicked on buy option.... i confirmed the transaction added my bank details and amount got deducted from my bank i.e payment was successful. (Rs. 145 -> i know amount is not much , but for talk time it is enough (who recharges for Rs.2000 for a month's recharge ?)
I was waiting for recharge amount to be added - the processing failed at Vodafone end and received an SMS from Vodafone with "reference number" stating they will refund money into my account within 5 working days.
This was dated 8th Apr and now its 20th Apr ...as you can see the amount is not refunded till date. Please help!
1) I called 198/111 to lodge complaint or followup , i informed them "reference number" which was messaged to me - > representative informed they can't lodge the complaint ( 198 is a complaint number please note) ... as they don't maintain a Database of reference number ( this reference number was sent by Vodafone please note) - neither they can inform technical team that processing failed and Mobile user have not received refund amount even after 5 working days.
2) On insistence i got a email id - vodafonecare [dot] del [at] vodafone [dot] com , this is again customer care email id , they acknowledged my request once i confirmed my email id through my mobile number. So i confirmed that details. Now i was awaiting for resolution.
Again they can't track back "reference number" , cause they don't have this info in their database.
Later they asked me to provide confirmation from bank -they confirmed that i haven't received refund amount and my transaction proof ( i provided that) - Vodafone agreed that they haven't refunded amount and apologized ( this was dated 17th Apr).
Now i felt , will finally receive my amount back - But NO Vodafone never refunded the amount.
Now they ask for Identify Proofs ( am a valid Mobile User , i confirmed my Email id through same number , they acknowledged my email id and responded back over email , i gave bank proofs on email they agreed on non-refund ) -Now Vodafone needs more proofs ?
Vodafone is unable to track back "reference number" in their database - and but they do send this "reference number" to customer ..why ? to track back na ? whats the use ? Vodafone does not maintain it
Now i feel harassed by Vodafone side and after all the proofs and acknowledgement - reality is my amount is not refunded ..
they are frauds and thief .... don't pay back people (non-refund of amount) neither give them service ( neither they recharged my talk time balance ) ..and neither can lodge complains (198 does not report incidents for reconciliation of outstanding balance ).
I now doubt their intentions and have thought of changing the service provider.
If you can help refund amount please help.

Updated by nja amount was refunded back after I complained on vodafone facebook page.
As u have said that U will get back to me with an update in 48 hrs, still I have not received any feedback from your end.I humbly request you to resolve the issue.
