Hi

I went to the ghatkopar east vodafone store and they gave me 2 prepaid SIM cards and advised it will be activated in 24 hours. However it wasn't activated and when called the center the advised its because documentation was not received and it will take further 24 hours. The store had not submitted the relevant documentation. So now I have to wait another 24 hours. This has caused me time money and stress. Their service is very poor and I don't believe we as consumers should receive such service. I paid 975 and never got any service.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    This is to inform you that i had purchased a Samsung Galaxy Grand phone on 19th Feb after i came across a Vodafone advt. regarding 2GB data free for two months.
    But to few days before i have received a SMS which says that the unbilled usage is approx Rs 2000/- because of data usage( which was supposed to be free as per the offer) and after that i called to your service team to tell that i got this connection in offer period but really i fed up with your collection department calls and i am sure if company will not give me reversal for this charges then i will sue your company 2000/- RS. is not big money for me but i know that i am not liable to make this payment.

    And today i got call from collection department and he confirmed me that this offer is valid for two month from date of purchase which will be complete on 19th April so now i am sure Vodafone and Samsung is making false commitments to the customers.

    Also, when i spoke to the customer care executive, he said that the offer should have been activated within maximum 48hrs and hence asked to contact Vodafone store but now the store is asking to contact customer care.

    Request you to please revert on the same as soon as possible.

    After that i mail to CEO of vodafone Vittorio Colao and then i got call from nodal officer Shweta Gursahani 3 days before she spoke to me and confirmed me that first she will check with concern department then she will get back to me but very same day she deactivate my outgoing service.

    After that she called to me and told me that they are ready to give 50% waiver for charges but why i will take 50% because i know that i am not liable to that after that very rudely she relied that ok not company can not waived 100% waived off you will have to pay and disconnect the call..

    Vodafone — poor service,descent robbery

    i have recharged my vodafone prepaid number [protected], amount 115/- but my card was not recharged, reagarding i called the customer care, they replied that i got only the bonus card, that is only the value added to my account,
    again i tried with icici bank internet banking, with the topup of 125/-i got message the top up is again a bonus card, it s so rediculas, this is 6th time im facing the problem with VODAFONE, its a shame on this company,
    I made a complaint to deactivate a song which was downloaded with out my knowledge and also made a complaint as to get back my downloading charges for the song(RS 15/-) and to set my previous caller tune as before, but they have completely deactivated my caller tune service.
    Each time when i was about to complaint about it the new customer care executives are asking me to wait till the complaint registered by me has to be processed and that has become a routine task for them i awaited for one week but i they cannot process my request.Its a shame on this that they cannot process the customers queries.

      The story started with the day when Vodafone’s Sales Agency came to our campus and presented Post-paid CUG plans specially designed for our organization. Looking at lucrative benefit I have booked 6 CUG card and all were existing numbers. 4 out of 6 got started after MNP process over.

      For remaining two numbers I have send so many MNP cord to Vodafone but it didn’t get started. But one number out of these two got blocked. The message saying “SIM registration fail” start appearing. My previous service provider stopped services and Vodafone didn’t started my number so I lost my number which was very important and I have given it to all my professional and personal networks.

      From last 10 days I am being passed from Airtel (previous service provider) and Vodafone. Each other blaming each other. Many a times Vodafone executives promises that it will get started within 24 hours. But unfortunately I could not record their word and may be their watches have stopped working.

      Still waiting for the day to see my cell phone working. As I can’t change my number I don’t have choice. Hope somebody will listen to it and do something.

      Vodafone — Fooling Customers

      Hi All,

      My Name is Pavan H R. I was using Vodafone connection from 4-5 years. My Vodafone Number is [protected]. I wanted to convert my Postpaid connection to Prepaid Connection. Firstly I spoke to Customer Care (111) on this, the message was to contact near by Vodafone store. After visiting Vodafone Store, the answer was to wait for the period of 6 months from date of conversion. After 7 months[protected] the answer was to wait till 25-2-11. I visited Vodafone store i Banashankari location in Bangalore, people there have even no simple sense to ask customer to sit, however hope costumers will not expect this & they only expect only solution for their problem. But as even we serve customers, these people should not treat customers like this.
      And now I wanted to cancel the connection, they was not in the position to know by outstanding Bill Amount so that I could have cleared. And even for courtesy, they were not ready to ask the reason for connection.

      So I request If somebody can help me on this?

        My current BSNL no. is [protected] which i applied to be ported in Vodafone because of the bad internet services provided by BSNL.
        I had applied for the porting on 25th March,2013 but the number is not yet ported into Vodafone.Neither the persons in Vodafone Mini Store are giving me any reason for the delay nor the customer care is listening to my complaint.Please help me in this regard.

        Vodafone — promotional call on my BSNL mobile

        have u ever heard a company,that forces other cell customer to opt for their new connection . I recieved a call from vodaphone (no..[protected] )at 1.21 pm on 16.11.09 on my bsnl no. & last month also...............................................................................         Vodafone — Inefficiency in Porting IN

        I've been trying to Port In to Vodafone from the past one month. My first request was rejected because of a contractual agreement with my current service provider, Loop Mobile. However, I got that matter sorted with Loop, generated a new UPC code (as the old one had expired) and gave it to the Vodafone call centre to reinitate the process.
        Vodafone instead made a porting request to Loop with the old UPC number. Obviously it was rejected and I was intimated about the same.
        Then, here's what all I did to get them to reapply with the new UPC number:

        I tried calling Andromeda, who sold the new simcard to me and picked up my documents on behalf of Vodafone. They didn't answer my call.

        I visited the Vodafone gallery at Fort. THEY SAID THEY CANT HELP ME. After insisting, a lot, the manager agreed to get in touch with Andromeda to solve my case. He spent half an hour trying to get in touch with the right person. Im not sure if he did. He told me it would take seven days to port in and that he had reinitated the request.

        I called the Vodafone helpline to check the status on my request. It said that it had been rejected.

        I wrote to Vodafone care email address. No reply.

        I called Vodafone helpline [protected], at least 5 times over the next few days and gave them my new UPC number asking them to restart the process.

        Nothing has happened. All I have is a Request ID: 443215.

        It seems Vodafone is not at all interested in taking new customers. Clearly, they are not equipped to handle new business.

        I visited the page you suggested in your comment above. It asks for a Vodafone number madatorily. As I mentioned in my complaint, I want to PORT IN so I don't have a Vodafone Number!

        Just another example of your efficiency.

        Vodafone — Ported number is not proper

        Hi,

        I recently ported my no [protected] from Reliance to Vodafone.But now my problem is I am not able to recieve any calls from reliance numbers from the day it got ported whereas its working for other numbers.
        Please resolve my issue.

          Hi,I made a prepaid mobile recharge of Rs.129 on 3rd April,2013 for the mobile number [protected] through my icici bank account but no talk time has been added to the mobile number.Its a bangalore number but since the user has gone to Tamil Nadu I recharged with Rs.129(roaming recharges) to get Rs.50 talk time.Please return the amount back to my account.

          Vodafone — wrong debit

          i have GPRS activated in my mobile. i went to yahoomail to check a mail and came out. i was debited with Rs.100.80 for this. when i called vodafone contact center an officer ( devi priya/Rogan) says that i have downloded a game. i have not gone into any wedsite to download and not clicked in any link wrongly... when i say this they say that their system cant be wrong. I even checked my mobile for the downloded game, i dont have anything in my mobile, i want a refund of this amount for which they wants me to visit the service center directly, for each and every single thing if i need to visit the service center then why do the hell they have a customer care... i dont understand. This is an day robbery... pls refund my amount.

          vodafone cellular — Wrong charges debited

          Sir,
          I am a vodafone subscriber from Bhubaneswar. I always recieve disturbing calls from the vodafone promotional numbers. I have also made a complaint with them not to disturb me. Meanwhile I find that they have charged some payment last month for activation of Bhakti Sangeet, which I actually have never opted for. I came to know about this when an amount of Rs 30/- got debited from my account once again this month. When I rung to the Cust Care for reasons behind this they did not coperate fully. I also clarified them that i have not ever activated such services and if i would have done so then i would have definitely taken the advantage of the scheme at least once in a month since i have already paid for that.The cust executives disconnected the call saying that they are transferring the call to their senior executive. This had happened numerous of times i have tried to contact them.
          Now that I would appeal in this place to get the amount refunded which i have been cheated and also compensation for the harrashment and tension in the process.

          This is the complaint against vodafone, I have made a recharge on[protected] online through vodafone website, first I have got a screen about successful recharge, but when I checked up in my mobile I found recharge not done, but account got debited from my bank, when I have enquired vodafone, I have been informed that amount will be credited in my account in next 5 working days, even for the same I have got a confirmation screen shot.

          But today 14-10-10, almost after a period of 2 months 10 days, none of the amount had come in my account, we have enquired serval times to them but they are just transferring request from one to other department, but not received any single amount in my account.

          i recharged my vodafone mobile phone my transaction reference number is MCIT[protected] ; name akila; mobile no.[protected]; recharge date[protected]; for an amount of Rs 450.00 i received message as recharge successful but it was not successfully recharged as my phone is showing balance of Rs.0.10 and iam not able to make calls now

            Dear Sir:

            I am using Vodafone Tamilnadu Prepaid. I have some problem with Vodafone customer care wrong infprmation. One of the agent give fails information about MNP welcome offer, So, that I am contact to customer care for the wrong information from customer care center. But they are refund the money, at the same time they are ignore my feedback and complaints, Meanwhile I have GPRS and Wrong SMS deduction. So, that I am try to contact customer care again, Agent's and floor supervisor are asking about that wrong SMS deduction, there is no option to take complaint about wrong deduction in vodafone. I am not happy with customer care agent and floor supervisor level so that I am request to every one, allow to speak to floor manager but they are not allow to speak to floor manager, because customer don't have rights to speak to floor manager. Many time floor supervisor, agent are disconnected my calls, put long hold, mute my calls, commands my call, I am mentally upset for this activities, So that I am complaint about that case to DOT. I am give a complaint about customer care activites to many time in DOT. Meanwhile I am speak to Mr.Sanjeev Arora. He request to me, send the DOT complaint number to his mobile number ([protected]). I am send my complaint number to his mobile. But still now I am not received any call from vodafone team, regards my DOT complaint. But they are close my complaint without any information about my issue. They are close my complaint with same statement. I am give a complaint about GPRS issue and customer care feedback, but they are send the same statement for my all complaints. Still I am unable to use GPRS in my number.

            All of the customer care people disconnected my call every time, they are not allow to speak to floor manager, Operation Manager, Center Manager.

            I am try to contact to Nodal and Appellate team more than 70 times, but there number is busy for all time.

            Following customer care people give a mental torches, when I am speak to customer care.

            1. Sibukesavan - Floor Supervisor - Say same answer for all my question "There is no option to take a complaint, feedback, and also no way to speak to floor manager". He ask to you don't have any problem then, why you call to customer. Still I am unable to browsing gprs in my number.

            2. Uma mageswai - Floor Supervisor - Put my call for more than 45min in every call.

            3. Deepan - Floor Supervisor - He also say same answer in my every call "No option"

            4. M.Priya - Floor Supervisor - She command and laugh my call with her friends, while I am speak to customer care.

            5. Sakthivel - Floor Supervisor - He also command and laugh.

            6. Senthur Selvi - Floor Supervisor - Disconnected my call while I am speak with her, hold my calls also.

            7. Riyash - Agent - He ask to me, your complaint not resolve over call, you come to my call center in coimbatore avinash tower.

            and ect.

            I need a answer for all.
            Why they are do like this in my number.?
            Why they not register my feedback..?
            Why they are take a complaint without my knowledge..?

            Please take a action against my issue

            i was go, movie raaz_2 so i have complain to manager natraj adlabs in kota " that movie volume is too low.i call the manager and saw that increase movie volume than he come in cinema and he was very angry and he say to me some wrong words, and he had gone without lestion my complain.

            sir, we received a message that we won some money by mobile draw amount of 500, 00, 000 so money as gift your company may loss the good wheel in people u please avoid sending this massage

            Vodafone — Customer care people don't provide Complaint number

            I have taken a mobile number from vodafone, they have blocked out going calls because of non submission of documents.
            The documents have been submitted to the vodafone store and i am tired of going there and reminding them to submit my documents. There is nobody to look into the problem because vodafore executives in store say that they cant help and neither customer care people.
            On calling customer care they dont generate a complain number! It is compulsory to provide a complain number as per TRAI rules.

            Vodafone — customer care gives wrong info

            Vopdafone customer care gives wrong information for GPRS activation. Till i am unable to connect GPRS & receive a settings. No one right law for mobile cellular service provider to serve a better sevices & also against complaints of service provider.
            I am also recharge a98 Rs. for GPRS actvation.

            Vodafone CC — CC does not allow customers to record the call with them

            Today I called Vodafone Customer Care. I generally used to record the call with any CC, to have a proof on the conversation. But the executive of Vodafone CC to whom I talked today, does not allow me to record the call. He is very stubborn that he can only give information only if I stop recording. I feel that this is not fair.

            Hi ! my name is Balaji Thevar, i am customer of Vodafone postpaid from near by 1/12 years now. from many days i keep on calling customer care contionusly to solve my problem that give me some better offers on same plan ie:- 200 minutes free calling , 30 ps per minute, 200 messages free. because other networks are offering me at same plan all d above facility. i spoke to Vodafone customer care people 2 weeks ago related same matter and they agreed & insure me that with in 3days they will activate all the mention facility on my Vodafone number - [protected]. but till date they didn't start any kind of facility on my num.

            And now when i am calling customer care people of Vodafone they are not at all co-operating with me, say's that it's all false we didn't promise such things, we will not offer you such facility an if you want you can walk out from our services and directly dis-connected the call & when i called them again they keep on dis-connecting my call again & again.

              I had faced excess billing problems and when I asked Vodafone to give details o[censored]sage they denied saying that we have no system to find out what is being charged to you. There after I have fixed billing limit to Rs.500 on my mobile but as per Vodafone my bill for March 2013 is 1335/- which is not expected as I had fix limit of Rs. 500. I complained on phone and also by email on corporate assist as the number is under corporate scheme. Vodafone has blocked my services long back before due date and also not answering my complaint.I am not willing to receive their calls for payment as they will be doing after due date that is 5th April 2013. I am not willing to pay rent for the period my services are blocked. Is there any authority whom I can approach for this problem??

              Vodafone — Not refunding My Excess pay Money

                  Complete cheating. I recently migrated from Docomo to Vodafone. Vodafone confirmed me MNP offer for new customers as 30p/min to all mobiles all over india. It worked well for 10days. However from then it is over charging and deducting all my balance. For 30 seconds it charged 0.66 paise. Do not know the logic behind this.
                  When I checked with vodafone people, they said this is an issue and raised a concern on behalf of me and promised to get back with solution soon.

                  i am using vodafone pre paid card, on 11th june i have got an SMS that ur mobile is activated with missed call alert service and Rs 30 is deducted for the same.
                  i have not sent any sms for activation of suc services...without my requirement, they have deducted Rs 30 and activated the service.

                    Vodafone — Faulty customer care service

                    I have purchased vodafone connection([protected]) on 23-April-2009 since then vodafone has not done my address verification correctly.
                    I have submitted proofs of my address and income more than 3 times (by handing over the xerox copies personally, by email, by fax). I visited your vodafone store located near Malhar Cinema Thane-West more than 10 times in this regard. But no use!

                    There is no mistake from my side. The address verification failed 2 timed only because of your mistakes mentioned below:

                    1. The person at your Soham-Sakshi Mini store (Located on Gokhle Road Thane-W) taken down my address wrongly. Your verification personnel dint got the address properly hence the verification failed. I proved this point at your Vodafone store (Located near Malhar cinema, Gokhle road Thane-W). I provided the house rent agreement as a proof which was provided at the time of purchase of card. The mistake was from vodafone mini-store's side.
                    2. After giving the correct address details the person reached at my residence. It is a bachelor accommodation, but on that day my roommates mother had come to our house. She was not knowing my full name and she confirmed my half name. At this time the verification person should have called me on my cell number or on my other alternate contact numbers. But this has not happened. The mistake is from verification personnel.

                    This is 5th time my connection is being disconnected. All 5 times the connection is disconnected without informing me. This has caused heavy inconvenience to me and my family.
                    You can track all my communication with your services. When my connection was active I was calling daily requesting for my address verification, credit limit extension and ISD activation.

                    I have met Mr Harish/Anirban of Vodafone store (Located near Malhar cinema, Gokhle road Thane-W) and told him about the consequences. My ref No is:[protected]. He has assured me that my connection will start today by afternoon but still it has not happened.
                    Its the same situation with me too

                    Vodafone — Faulty Services

                    I have been facing network related problem at my residence, i have complaint several times ince April 2009, however till date the services are not improved, i am facing huge losses because of this faulty service of the network provider, They are fooling me since 9 months that the problem will be resolved in next 3 months, again today they give me the same replies and no responsilities have been owned by the company

                            This is to bring to your kind notice that i have been your valued customer from the last 3 years (Essar days.../ hutch & now vodafone). But this is for the first time that i have received a sms on stating my present bill amount to be rs.1875 which no doubt is not at all possible since i have never crossed the limit of 300 per month regularly paid the same amounts on due date. It is very sad to see that a valued customer be treated as such. It is giving me nightmares since i am not in a position to pay the same as i have not misused my phone.                               Vodafone — Worst network

                              Hi Sir,

                              I am using Vodafone mobile number from last 3-4 months network coverage in my area is very very poor, i can barely hear what other person is saying moreover if i try to make a call most of the time network is not there and i can see only one bar or its start searching for network.

                              I made complainst couple of timeto vodafone customer care evertime they say we'll rectify the problem in one week now its been more than 3 months, my monthly bills rose from 1500 rs to 2500 rs as my call gets discooneted in secs and i need to pay for 1 min.

                              after repeated requests I requested Vodafone correct the problem and give concession in my bills as I am unneccary paying hard earned money and in return i get wrost network and voice quality.

                              They refused to give concession and on top of that now they are saying it'll take more 3 montsh to correct the problem.

                              I have told them i'll not pay the current month bill and they can go ahead and close my connection as its affecting me mentally and finacially i lost couple of deals beacuse of that.

                                    I have a problem with my internet pack settings that is provided by vodafone.. i have faced this problem before too.. they have rectified and solved the problem instatntly in the previous complaint.but now i have got the same problem after 2-3 months.they have told i ll get a call but my works have stopped because of no internet since 2 days.previously they did their task very fastly but this time m getting no response.they need to send a proper setting to my phone which will solve the problem.i kindly request them to do it as soon as possible.

                                    vodafone/ data service — problem not solved

                                    I am a old Vodafone Data service user( Internet on Blackberry) having a post paid connection, Mob No [protected] using Data plan of 1099/- monthly . I came to know that Vodafone have the same unlimited prepaid monthly plan of 399/- . I went to the Vodafone Shop on Dec 28th 2011 at Kalyan and the customer executive told me not to go for prepaid instead told me he would give me the same plan in Post Paid from the subsequent bill Cycle. To my surprise i did not recieve the bill for the subsequent month and my Data plan was still 1099, which i came to know from the call centre. After talking several times to the customer executive and going to the Vodafone shop, things were as it is and i did not receive the bills. in the month of March frustated, i got my post paid no disconnected.
                                    I bought a prepaid card of Vodafone and activated the Data service no [protected], thinking pre paid would be better.i Activated my Gmail account on my Blackberry and subsequently when i logged in to the Vodafone web Page for creating another account the web page showed an error. on continously contacting the customer executive and then went to the Dombivali Vodafone shop, the shop said they cannot help me as the concerned dept is not lifting the phone and i need to send a mail to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com.
                                    Is this the way the country's leading mobile service provider operate?

                                      I had taken a Vodafone sim card for number [protected] in 2005. For which they suggested me to take the Centurion3 pack. Some years back I got a call from the service desk requesting me to activate the SMS pack for 35 Rs. Now for all these years I have been charged for these 35 rs for SMS pack and also some SMS outgoing package for 30 Rs which was activated with the centurion3 pack as well. When contacted the service desk, I got an extremely arrogant reply saying it is their job to sell packages, and I should have specified to deactivate the other SMS pack when this one was activated, otherwise I would be charged for both. I was not aware that Vodafone gets into such cheap acts to mint money. Also the CLIP charges I was told have been deactivated for postpaid plans since 2009, even the website says so. But Vodafone continues to illegally charge me Clip charges even today, claiming that it is not their responsibility to update the systems for reduced charges. They shall keep charging me until I tell them to stop the service they themselves have stopped. It clearly seems that their focus it totally on making money be it lying to customers, duping them of simply generating loopholes to make illegal money. I am extremely outraged by these pathetic tactics and service agents paid to fool people. Horrible and arrogant customer service to top it all. I want the refund for the outgoing message service that was never activated and Clip charges that I am not even supposed to pay.

                                      I m karuna is a prepaid customer of vodafone mb no-[protected].They deducted rs 100 from my account on basis of activation of services 124etop recharge.inspite of repeated calls to there customer care i dint get good response.wen i wantd to talk to superviser no one attended my call n my call was put on hold n finally disconnected. its very harrassing bein customer of such a big telecom company.and they don't giving me services. i have to complaint in cunsumer court.

                                      Vodafone — charging for sms

                                      I, ashutosh harma is a prepaid customer of vodafone([protected]).They charge me for sms after my combo pack service is been active according to combo pack there is 100 sms are free to use but they charge ..
                                      inspite of repeated calls to there customer care i dint get good response.wen i wantd to talk to superviser no one attended my call n my call was put on hold n finally disconnected. its very harrassing bein customer of such a big telecom company.
                                      i am having lots of problem on your network i been giving complaint after complaint but i don't see any improvement on this, but the adds on the channels you all give like where your dog goes the network is behind us but its true the network is like the dog its self . my number is [protected]

                                      i have had the miss fortune to have been advised by your staff the nokia 6210,
                                      within days of receiving it the plastic cheap poorly designed call disconnect area cracked. i called to ask advce and was told as i did not takeout insurance nothing could be done.
                                      (that plastic area should not crack just by pressing to disconnect a call)
                                      i was advised to take it to my local voda phone shop in derby and was told by one of your drongos
                                      ( his atitude was not good at all typical of todays CBA syndrome )
                                      £40. service charge as i did not have insurance. (not good at all is it)
                                      i have been with vodaphone14 years but no longer after this.
                                      the write ups on this phone says its cheap and nasty and this plastic trim on the bottom of the slide
                                      i is a definate design fault

                                      Vodafone — Got Missed call .. when called back they activated pack..

                                      Hi friends, Please dont port to vodafone.. I just disappointing from vodafone customer care and automatic credit deduction.
                                      They give me missed call and when I call back on that number they automatically deduct my balance and activate rando...m packs. Moreover when i tried to call customer care, they blocked my number.
                                      From past 3 days I am visiting customer care Mohali branch, They everytime tell me to contact nodal office. I tried nodal office number 5 hours but i never succeed. Today in evening when I visited customer care Mohali then customer care executive said that I am blocked from customer care. When I asked reason, he did not have any answer.
                                      When I question him about my balance deduction, I answered that "Vodafone is not my company. I can't help you". When I request him for register complaint He simply denied.
                                      There were 5 more customer facing same problem. I already talked theM we are going to file mass case against Vodafone on this issue. If some one among you faced same problem, please mail me at [protected]@gmail.com

                                      Please refer to the link given below, I was very confidently told by the person on the phone that the CLIP charges were still applicable, but the site very clearly mentions "Currently you pay nothing extra for this service, but only for the airtime used and the applicable landline charge." Where again I had to direct the customer service person through the Vodafone site, as she was unaware where the CLIP clause was mentioned. No help regarding the SMS pack either. She kept saying, we will keep charging you for the 2 SMS packs that were active. The person who had called to activate the second SMS pack, her job is to sell the package, she will not tell us that the other active SMS pack that wont be deactivated and will be charged for for all these years. All throughout they are extremely prompt when the call charges increase. like when the rates of missed call intimation service increased, we never got a call or had to give an application, they updated the charges directly, but when the charges reduce, or become free altogether, they claim that a written request from us is necessary to update anything. Talk about double standards. Stop looting consumers by using such cheap tactics.

                                        This is regarding false commitment and how vodafone customer care is cheating consumers and harassing them.
                                        I residing at east of kailash, called customer care for migration of my no. From prepaid to postpaid connection. On 09.03.2013, executive namely as vikas chaudhary, sales code-sve came and migrated my no. To postpaid with sme 250 plan. But according to him my rental tariff plan includes 800 min local + std free units. But today i visited vodafone store at sant nagar due to higher billing amount. After a long time about 1.30 hrs. I got my turn and mr. Sandeep checked the details and told me that vikas chaudhary has cheated me. The plan told was 800 min local + std free units and registered as 400 min local + std free units. According to vodafone store executive (Mr. Sandeep), it should be 800 local + std free units instead of 400.
                                        Really, i am very much surprised by this. I requested him to amend free units on my no. He registered a complaint regarding this. Also, vikas chaudhary hasn't informed me that if i want to migrate from postpaid to prepaid connection again, minimum 3 months of billing is compulsory...
                                        Really, i am very disappointed by this..
                                        Still have not got any sms from your side, stating my ammended tarrif plan.
                                        I am very much harassed by the customer care with no response at all. Lastly i request your highly esteemed office to please look into the matter

                                        Vodafone Connection — false commitments

                                        The SIM of my handset with vodafone prepaid connection was locked. So I went to Vodafone Store, Girish Park, Kolkata to reactivate my connection on 3rd May, 2008. The person named 'SUMAN' told me that the required SIM was not available in that store, So for immediate reactivation he insisted me to accept a postpaid connection of Rs.300/- for which I will get a temporary SIM for immediate activation and another permanent SIM which is to inserted after confirmation from their end within two or three days.
                                        But after completion of the total processing that person blatantly said that the temporary SIM is out of stock so he is giving the permanent SIM which will be activated positively by Tuesday.
                                        After not getting the connection on Tuesday I contacted Customer care of Vodafone where they said that the process of activation will take atleast seven days.
                                        So my point is that how dare they are to tell lies so blatantly, misguide people and still will not face any problem to continue their business.

                                        Vodafone Essar Ltd. — Cheating

                                        I send a request to vodafone to activate a caller tune on my mobile phone, they activated and then I send a request to change the caller tune they deduct the amount from my balance but do not activate.

                                        I have every SMS whichever they send and also I send.

                                        Vodafone — FALSE OFFERS AND CHEATING

                                        I am having vodafone connection with no [protected].
                                        On 31 aug 09 at 17:10 i got a message from vodafone saying
                                        " hello.100 free sms daily send two lacal sms everyday and get 100 local sms free. Send 2 natioanl sms everyday & get100 free national sms. No rentals! No bonus cards!" (Message is still available in my inbox)
                                        On 02 sep 09 i have send about 20 sms hoping to avail this facility.
                                        But the amount was deducted from my balance for all the smss i have send.
                                        I have talked the same time with your customer care executives (Ms sameena &, ms sheila, etc...) who is telling blindly (i have the recorded proof of the conversation) that the offer is not applicable for me
                                        They are not telling the reason for that.
                                        One of them told that i am availing an offer on smss in which i am paying 25 ps for local and 50 ps. For national smss, which was also not true.
                                        I am paying 1rs.50ps for the national smss since i have taken the connection.
                                        When i asked them to connect me to their supervisor, the agreed but didn't connect the call or the superviser was not picking up the call.
                                        This is quite embarrasing a situation.
                                        First of all you should not have send me that message if it was not applicable.
                                        Secondly if such an issue was their then you should have mentioned "conditions apply" or something
                                        Finally, in such cases the customer support should have a valid and reasonable reply for the same

                                        So i am forced to lodge a complaint to consumer forum of india in this regard

                                        Vodafone Essar telecom — Poor Service, False service

                                        Its truly disappointing on your customer care’s part which has been unable to activate gprs services settings on my phone. I have samsung sgh i607 phone which require technical teams manual help. My phone number is [protected].

                                        On first instance i was told to call at 55124 to speak to technical team people for manual settings. I tried connecting on this number for almost 4-5 days but only heard to “you and i” tone of vodafone and nobody took the call and at times it was also giving “network busy reply”

                                        Second time again on 20th or 21st of july i called up customer care for solution and was told that “your request have been taken and now someone from technical team will call back in 2 hours and reslove my problem”. I was given the request id [protected] and trust me those 2 hours are still awaited from side….

                                        Today on 26th july when i called up customer care to know the status…i was shocked and surprised to know that my request id [protected] has been closed with remarks settings done and problem resolved. Where in actual nobody called me up and my problem has been still pending.

                                        Its such a big shame on service part for company like yours which has been boasting of “happy to help you “ with zero responsible staff who simply doesn’t bother.

                                        Vodafone Essar Company — forud services and cheating with customers

                                        I would like to inform you that your vadafoe services fail to fullfill the customer need and satisfaction.
                                        I had purchase a vodafone post paid card on 8/8/2010. Having a no. [protected] providing sufficient documents and submitting relevent form of subscription from vodafone gallery located at ghatkoper (W).
                                        A girl attending me her name was snehal. She gave a post card package contang sim card and said your card will get activated within 4 hour. But card not get activated on the next day too. I reach to gallery in the evening time with compalint she again asked for other documents which i submetted. Since i am working from 6 to 9 it wouldnt possible for me to go their again and again. Still i called to gallery with same compaint they again add the word they will send a person to my office address for verification but they have not comitted to thier word.

                                        Finally after a weak i reach to gallery on 14/08/2010 with a request of refunding my fair. I dont understand why are not refundind my money. Is this the policy they are dealing with they doing what they want and they are not considering customers as i am a middle class. Hope that you will come out with a solution.

                                        Vodafone — False Commitments

                                        This is Ankit, and I have a Vodafone pre-paid connection. My number is [protected]. Even after several requests to get my caller-tune service deactivated, it is still activated and they have been charging me for that.I had asked for the deactivation for around a month back.Everytime i do it,they tell me that it will be done within 4 hours but no effect.Its still activated and they charged me for the service around 10 days back. And,one more thing, I had requested for the DND )do not disturb ) service around 2 months back..I was told that it will be activated within 45 days but its more than 2 months and its not yet activated and i get useless calls from Vodafone everyday..

                                        Vodafone — False commitment and billing

                                        Hi,

                                        This is regarding the false commitment and how vodafone customer care is cheating consumers.

                                        Vodafone had a form on their website for 3G service in the month of December 2010. I contacted via that form and one of their customer care representative contacted me. After our discussion, Vodafone committed that their 3G service would be active by the end of December 2010. In fact I was told that by 26th Dec, this service would be active. I was also told that my billing would start immediately and I will have to pay for first 15-20 days for their normal data service until 3G service starts. I confirmed for this. After 2 days, the delivery boy delivered the data card to me (not sure about exact date but it was somewhere around Dec 10 - Dec 12, 2010) and I was given [protected] number along with that data card.

                                        Problem 1: I filled the form and correctly mentioned my email address on the form. However, the account was not linked with my email address and it took 10 days for Vodafone just to link my email with the new number I purchased. This problem should not have taken more than 1 day (although the linking an email address takes few clicks only). I felt that customer care is illiterate. They can't read an email neither they can resolve any problem on phone. First they will keep on hold for 10-15 minutes if they are not able to resolve any problem and after that customer will be so frustrated that he will hang up the phone.

                                        Problem 2: Why should anyone pay for no service?
                                        3G service was not launched in December 2010. I contacted Vodafone customer care in first week of January 2011 and they simply denied about it. They said that there is no firm date for launch of 3G service yet. I was shocked to know this as the whole purpose of getting the data card was to avail 3G service. I have airtel connection at home and it works fine. The connectivity I was getting with vodafone card was so poor that even my 6 years old kid was not ready to use that! I even asked to deactivate the service but they did not. Customer care as well as Nodal office did not provide any support and they kept on adding bills. In Feb, someone from their end spoke to me and my services were deactivated. However, by that time, I had two outstanding bills in my name for no service. Great policy to get money from consumers! Get the customer by making false commitment, do not provide the committed service and then charge them by hooks or crooks. Today only (March 21, 2011), I visited Vodafone store and they simply said that I will have to pay the outstanding. I asked to provide me details of the sales person who sold the data card to me and they failed to provide me that too. They only provided me the agency who deals in Gurgaon (DSA Super C.C. Gurgaon). I am helpless as neither customer care or nodal officer or vodafone store is ready to accept the fault. This is ridiculous. The only mistake I did was that I did not ask for in written what that sales person committed me and now these cheaters are taking undue advantage of that.

                                        Hi,
                                        I am one of the customer of Vodafone having a post paid connection. Since i was moving to some other city i wanted to deactivate my post paid connection and pay off my balance bill. Itried all the option available for disconection of vodafone :
                                        1. went to vodafone gallary and fille the requisite form and did the required procedure.
                                        2. filed the discontinuance application through email.

                                        but my request was not processed and they are continously sending me monthly rental bill. I have talked to the useless & unhelpful customer care of vodafone thrice but they didn't solved my problem and disconnected my call instead of my post paid connection. Adding the worse when ever i talked to the customer care they use to ask me a question why i want to deactivate my no?

                                        Does anyone have answere to this question ?
                                        April gone.. 60% of May gone...no one from customer care reached me.
                                        Customer care has to resolve my issues so they don't have my contact details.
                                        Their billing department is able to reach me as they have to take money from me for the services they did not provide me. LOL

                                        vodafone should change their punchline to "Happy to Harass".
