I have a problem with my internet pack settings that is provided by vodafone.. i have faced this problem before too.. they have rectified and solved the problem instatntly in the previous complaint.but now i have got the same problem after 2-3 months.they have told i ll get a call but my works have stopped because of no internet since 2 days.previously they did their task very fastly but this time m getting no response.they need to send a proper setting to my phone which will solve the problem.i kindly request them to do it as soon as possible.

vodafone/ data service — problem not solved

I am a old Vodafone Data service user( Internet on Blackberry) having a post paid connection, Mob No [protected] using Data plan of 1099/- monthly . I came to know that Vodafone have the same unlimited prepaid monthly plan of 399/- . I went to the Vodafone Shop on Dec 28th 2011 at Kalyan and the customer executive told me not to go for prepaid instead told me he would give me the same plan in Post Paid from the subsequent bill Cycle. To my surprise i did not recieve the bill for the subsequent month and my Data plan was still 1099, which i came to know from the call centre. After talking several times to the customer executive and going to the Vodafone shop, things were as it is and i did not receive the bills. in the month of March frustated, i got my post paid no disconnected.
I bought a prepaid card of Vodafone and activated the Data service no [protected], thinking pre paid would be better.i Activated my Gmail account on my Blackberry and subsequently when i logged in to the Vodafone web Page for creating another account the web page showed an error. on continously contacting the customer executive and then went to the Dombivali Vodafone shop, the shop said they cannot help me as the concerned dept is not lifting the phone and i need to send a mail to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com.
Is this the way the country's leading mobile service provider operate?

    I had taken a Vodafone sim card for number [protected] in 2005. For which they suggested me to take the Centurion3 pack. Some years back I got a call from the service desk requesting me to activate the SMS pack for 35 Rs. Now for all these years I have been charged for these 35 rs for SMS pack and also some SMS outgoing package for 30 Rs which was activated with the centurion3 pack as well. When contacted the service desk, I got an extremely arrogant reply saying it is their job to sell packages, and I should have specified to deactivate the other SMS pack when this one was activated, otherwise I would be charged for both. I was not aware that Vodafone gets into such cheap acts to mint money. Also the CLIP charges I was told have been deactivated for postpaid plans since 2009, even the website says so. But Vodafone continues to illegally charge me Clip charges even today, claiming that it is not their responsibility to update the systems for reduced charges. They shall keep charging me until I tell them to stop the service they themselves have stopped. It clearly seems that their focus it totally on making money be it lying to customers, duping them of simply generating loopholes to make illegal money. I am extremely outraged by these pathetic tactics and service agents paid to fool people. Horrible and arrogant customer service to top it all. I want the refund for the outgoing message service that was never activated and Clip charges that I am not even supposed to pay.

    I m karuna is a prepaid customer of vodafone mb no-[protected].They deducted rs 100 from my account on basis of activation of services 124etop recharge.inspite of repeated calls to there customer care i dint get good response.wen i wantd to talk to superviser no one attended my call n my call was put on hold n finally disconnected. its very harrassing bein customer of such a big telecom company.and they don't giving me services. i have to complaint in cunsumer court.

    Vodafone — charging for sms

    I, ashutosh harma is a prepaid customer of vodafone([protected]).They charge me for sms after my combo pack service is been active according to combo pack there is 100 sms are free to use but they charge ..
    inspite of repeated calls to there customer care i dint get good response.wen i wantd to talk to superviser no one attended my call n my call was put on hold n finally disconnected. its very harrassing bein customer of such a big telecom company.
    i am having lots of problem on your network i been giving complaint after complaint but i don't see any improvement on this, but the adds on the channels you all give like where your dog goes the network is behind us but its true the network is like the dog its self . my number is [protected]
    This is one organization which keeps on cheating the customers and deduct unnecessary amount out of their accounts. This has happened with me also and nobody attends the customers and address their issues. High time this company should realise the importance of customers.

    i have had the miss fortune to have been advised by your staff the nokia 6210,
    within days of receiving it the plastic cheap poorly designed call disconnect area cracked. i called to ask advce and was told as i did not takeout insurance nothing could be done.
    (that plastic area should not crack just by pressing to disconnect a call)
    i was advised to take it to my local voda phone shop in derby and was told by one of your drongos
    ( his atitude was not good at all typical of todays CBA syndrome )
    £40. service charge as i did not have insurance. (not good at all is it)
    i have been with vodaphone14 years but no longer after this.
    the write ups on this phone says its cheap and nasty and this plastic trim on the bottom of the slide
    i is a definate design fault
    i think your back up or staff training is very poor and i do intend to take this matter to consumer rights

    Vodafone — Got Missed call .. when called back they activated pack..

    Hi friends, Please dont port to vodafone.. I just disappointing from vodafone customer care and automatic credit deduction.
    They give me missed call and when I call back on that number they automatically deduct my balance and activate rando...m packs. Moreover when i tried to call customer care, they blocked my number.
    From past 3 days I am visiting customer care Mohali branch, They everytime tell me to contact nodal office. I tried nodal office number 5 hours but i never succeed. Today in evening when I visited customer care Mohali then customer care executive said that I am blocked from customer care. When I asked reason, he did not have any answer.
    When I question him about my balance deduction, I answered that "Vodafone is not my company. I can't help you". When I request him for register complaint He simply denied.
    There were 5 more customer facing same problem. I already talked theM we are going to file mass case against Vodafone on this issue. If some one among you faced same problem, please mail me at [protected]@gmail.com

    Please refer to the link given below, I was very confidently told by the person on the phone that the CLIP charges were still applicable, but the site very clearly mentions "Currently you pay nothing extra for this service, but only for the airtime used and the applicable landline charge." Where again I had to direct the customer service person through the Vodafone site, as she was unaware where the CLIP clause was mentioned. No help regarding the SMS pack either. She kept saying, we will keep charging you for the 2 SMS packs that were active. The person who had called to activate the second SMS pack, her job is to sell the package, she will not tell us that the other active SMS pack that wont be deactivated and will be charged for for all these years. All throughout they are extremely prompt when the call charges increase. like when the rates of missed call intimation service increased, we never got a call or had to give an application, they updated the charges directly, but when the charges reduce, or become free altogether, they claim that a written request from us is necessary to update anything. Talk about double standards. Stop looting consumers by using such cheap tactics.

      This is regarding false commitment and how vodafone customer care is cheating consumers and harassing them.
      I residing at east of kailash, called customer care for migration of my no. From prepaid to postpaid connection. On 09.03.2013, executive namely as vikas chaudhary, sales code-sve came and migrated my no. To postpaid with sme 250 plan. But according to him my rental tariff plan includes 800 min local + std free units. But today i visited vodafone store at sant nagar due to higher billing amount. After a long time about 1.30 hrs. I got my turn and mr. Sandeep checked the details and told me that vikas chaudhary has cheated me. The plan told was 800 min local + std free units and registered as 400 min local + std free units. According to vodafone store executive (Mr. Sandeep), it should be 800 local + std free units instead of 400.
      Really, i am very much surprised by this. I requested him to amend free units on my no. He registered a complaint regarding this. Also, vikas chaudhary hasn't informed me that if i want to migrate from postpaid to prepaid connection again, minimum 3 months of billing is compulsory...
      Really, i am very disappointed by this..
      Still have not got any sms from your side, stating my ammended tarrif plan.
      I am very much harassed by the customer care with no response at all. Lastly i request your highly esteemed office to please look into the matter

      Vodafone Connection — false commitments

      The SIM of my handset with vodafone prepaid connection was locked. So I went to Vodafone Store, Girish Park, Kolkata to reactivate my connection on 3rd May, 2008. The person named 'SUMAN' told me that the required SIM was not available in that store, So for immediate reactivation he insisted me to accept a postpaid connection of Rs.300/- for which I will get a temporary SIM for immediate activation and another permanent SIM which is to inserted after confirmation from their end within two or three days.
      But after completion of the total processing that person blatantly said that the temporary SIM is out of stock so he is giving the permanent SIM which will be activated positively by Tuesday.
      After not getting the connection on Tuesday I contacted Customer care of Vodafone where they said that the process of activation will take atleast seven days.
      So my point is that how dare they are to tell lies so blatantly, misguide people and still will not face any problem to continue their business.

      Vodafone Essar Ltd. — Cheating

      I send a request to vodafone to activate a caller tune on my mobile phone, they activated and then I send a request to change the caller tune they deduct the amount from my balance but do not activate.

      I have every SMS whichever they send and also I send.

      I m using vodafone postpaid services since last few months and every 4th or 5th day i face the same problem . they barred my outgoing services for ISD. although i pay my bills on time but they dont get my services activated . wenever i call customer service they either hung up in between or say in two hours it will get activated but they dont do it. i m seriously sick and tired of the vodafone services . please take an action against them

      Vodafone — FALSE OFFERS AND CHEATING

      I am having vodafone connection with no [protected].
      On 31 aug 09 at 17:10 i got a message from vodafone saying
      " hello.100 free sms daily send two lacal sms everyday and get 100 local sms free. Send 2 natioanl sms everyday & get100 free national sms. No rentals! No bonus cards!" (Message is still available in my inbox)
      On 02 sep 09 i have send about 20 sms hoping to avail this facility.
      But the amount was deducted from my balance for all the smss i have send.
      I have talked the same time with your customer care executives (Ms sameena &, ms sheila, etc...) who is telling blindly (i have the recorded proof of the conversation) that the offer is not applicable for me
      They are not telling the reason for that.
      One of them told that i am availing an offer on smss in which i am paying 25 ps for local and 50 ps. For national smss, which was also not true.
      I am paying 1rs.50ps for the national smss since i have taken the connection.
      When i asked them to connect me to their supervisor, the agreed but didn't connect the call or the superviser was not picking up the call.
      This is quite embarrasing a situation.
      First of all you should not have send me that message if it was not applicable.
      Secondly if such an issue was their then you should have mentioned "conditions apply" or something
      Finally, in such cases the customer support should have a valid and reasonable reply for the same

      So i am forced to lodge a complaint to consumer forum of india in this regard

      Vodafone Essar telecom — Poor Service, False service

      Its truly disappointing on your customer care’s part which has been unable to activate gprs services settings on my phone. I have samsung sgh i607 phone which require technical teams manual help. My phone number is [protected].

      On first instance i was told to call at 55124 to speak to technical team people for manual settings. I tried connecting on this number for almost 4-5 days but only heard to “you and i” tone of vodafone and nobody took the call and at times it was also giving “network busy reply”

      Second time again on 20th or 21st of july i called up customer care for solution and was told that “your request have been taken and now someone from technical team will call back in 2 hours and reslove my problem”. I was given the request id [protected] and trust me those 2 hours are still awaited from side….

      Today on 26th july when i called up customer care to know the status…i was shocked and surprised to know that my request id [protected] has been closed with remarks settings done and problem resolved. Where in actual nobody called me up and my problem has been still pending.

      Its such a big shame on service part for company like yours which has been boasting of “happy to help you “ with zero responsible staff who simply doesn’t bother.

      Vodafone Essar Company — forud services and cheating with customers

      I would like to inform you that your vadafoe services fail to fullfill the customer need and satisfaction.
      I had purchase a vodafone post paid card on 8/8/2010. Having a no. [protected] providing sufficient documents and submitting relevent form of subscription from vodafone gallery located at ghatkoper (W).
      A girl attending me her name was snehal. She gave a post card package contang sim card and said your card will get activated within 4 hour. But card not get activated on the next day too. I reach to gallery in the evening time with compalint she again asked for other documents which i submetted. Since i am working from 6 to 9 it wouldnt possible for me to go their again and again. Still i called to gallery with same compaint they again add the word they will send a person to my office address for verification but they have not comitted to thier word.

      Finally after a weak i reach to gallery on 14/08/2010 with a request of refunding my fair. I dont understand why are not refundind my money. Is this the policy they are dealing with they doing what they want and they are not considering customers as i am a middle class. Hope that you will come out with a solution.

      Vodafone — New Number Not Start In Committed date

      My Self Ombeer Chauhan S/o S. Ramesh Chauhan. I Buy A New Connection Of Vodafone On 26/11/2010. Vodafone Sales Execvtive Say That This Number Is Activated With In 72 Hrs. But On 29/11/2010 This Number Is Not Start.

      This is Ankit, and I have a Vodafone pre-paid connection. My number is [protected]. Even after several requests to get my caller-tune service deactivated, it is still activated and they have been charging me for that.I had asked for the deactivation for around a month back.Everytime i do it,they tell me that it will be done within 4 hours but no effect.Its still activated and they charged me for the service around 10 days back. And,one more thing, I had requested for the DND )do not disturb ) service around 2 months back..I was told that it will be activated within 45 days but its more than 2 months and its not yet activated and i get useless calls from Vodafone everyday..

      Vodafone — False commitment and billing

      Hi,

      This is regarding the false commitment and how vodafone customer care is cheating consumers.

      Vodafone had a form on their website for 3G service in the month of December 2010. I contacted via that form and one of their customer care representative contacted me. After our discussion, Vodafone committed that their 3G service would be active by the end of December 2010. In fact I was told that by 26th Dec, this service would be active. I was also told that my billing would start immediately and I will have to pay for first 15-20 days for their normal data service until 3G service starts. I confirmed for this. After 2 days, the delivery boy delivered the data card to me (not sure about exact date but it was somewhere around Dec 10 - Dec 12, 2010) and I was given [protected] number along with that data card.

      Problem 1: I filled the form and correctly mentioned my email address on the form. However, the account was not linked with my email address and it took 10 days for Vodafone just to link my email with the new number I purchased. This problem should not have taken more than 1 day (although the linking an email address takes few clicks only). I felt that customer care is illiterate. They can't read an email neither they can resolve any problem on phone. First they will keep on hold for 10-15 minutes if they are not able to resolve any problem and after that customer will be so frustrated that he will hang up the phone.

      Problem 2: Why should anyone pay for no service?
      3G service was not launched in December 2010. I contacted Vodafone customer care in first week of January 2011 and they simply denied about it. They said that there is no firm date for launch of 3G service yet. I was shocked to know this as the whole purpose of getting the data card was to avail 3G service. I have airtel connection at home and it works fine. The connectivity I was getting with vodafone card was so poor that even my 6 years old kid was not ready to use that! I even asked to deactivate the service but they did not. Customer care as well as Nodal office did not provide any support and they kept on adding bills. In Feb, someone from their end spoke to me and my services were deactivated. However, by that time, I had two outstanding bills in my name for no service. Great policy to get money from consumers! Get the customer by making false commitment, do not provide the committed service and then charge them by hooks or crooks. Today only (March 21, 2011), I visited Vodafone store and they simply said that I will have to pay the outstanding. I asked to provide me details of the sales person who sold the data card to me and they failed to provide me that too. They only provided me the agency who deals in Gurgaon (DSA Super C.C. Gurgaon). I am helpless as neither customer care or nodal officer or vodafone store is ready to accept the fault. This is ridiculous. The only mistake I did was that I did not ask for in written what that sales person committed me and now these cheaters are taking undue advantage of that.

      Vodafone Essar Ltd. — Discontinuance of Post paid connection

      Hi,
      I am one of the customer of Vodafone having a post paid connection. Since i was moving to some other city i wanted to deactivate my post paid connection and pay off my balance bill. Itried all the option available for disconection of vodafone :
      1. went to vodafone gallary and fille the requisite form and did the required procedure.
      2. filed the discontinuance application through email.

      but my request was not processed and they are continously sending me monthly rental bill. I have talked to the useless & unhelpful customer care of vodafone thrice but they didn't solved my problem and disconnected my call instead of my post paid connection. Adding the worse when ever i talked to the customer care they use to ask me a question why i want to deactivate my no?

      Does anyone have answere to this question ?
      April gone.. 60% of May gone...no one from customer care reached me.
      Customer care has to resolve my issues so they don't have my contact details.
      Their billing department is able to reach me as they have to take money from me for the services they did not provide me. LOL

      vodafone should change their punchline to "Happy to Harass".

          Hi

          I have been using this connection ([protected]) for more than one year and also paying all the bills regularly.

          In the month of Dec 2012 my Internet plan of Rs 99/GB was discontinued without any intimation and thus excess billing was done in month of Dec 2012 and Jan2013.

          When i took the connection i was told that this plan was for life time.

          I had already paid Dec 2013 which was excess billed.

          I Had already posted a complaint in 1st week of Feb 2013 through your customer care centre at Dombivli west for reversal of Excess billing of rs 10937/-

          This amount was calculated by your customer centre executive and he confirmed that neither a call was made nor message was sent before stopping this service.

          Its unacceptable that without intimation any service is stopped and get charged for that.

          But from last 2 months there is no progress on this and i keep getting calls for unpaid amount.

          I have already posted a complaint on vodafone care and Nodal officer id and vodafone appellate id but the lack of support is unacceptable.

          Vodafone Postpaid Connection — excessive unwanted messages for advertising

          I am a vodafone user for the past one and half minth. I took the connection believing that it would have better service than idea which I was earlier using.

          Unfortunately to my dismay ever since I have taken the connection I have been facing excessive disturbance due to excessive unwanted aessages for advertising various products and services. On two occasions I contacted the customer care only to be informed that they cannot take the complaint. They instead gave me a number 1909 asking me to send a message 'start dnd' from my mobile on the same.

          on doing the same on 8th April 2008, Iwas alloted a service registration number namely:[protected] saying my querry would be responded to by tuesdday the 13th of May 08.

          On the 9th of April, I received a message from Vodafone at 9.32am saying that my request has been processed for my number [protected]. Howevre, since 3.30pm today, I have already received 12 such unwanted messages.

          I am a psychologist by profession and everytime I receive such a message during my sessions with my patient, I get disturbed as it breaks the entire rythm in which we were interacting.

          I believe Vodafone is taking its customer's privacy for granted and wish to take strict action against them. This careless approach on their part is causing unwanted mental harrassment to me and my patients and strongly having negative effect on my work.

          I request the consumer court to kindly take some strict action against these people so that many others who are like me do not have to go through this ordeal and spend their precious time in filing complaints.

          If they can't respect consumer privacy, they have no right to run a business.

          Vodafone — Messags from Advertisors with no number

          Hi,

          I am a vodafone customer from last 6 years. I have been getting many advertisement messages like from 'TM-YATRA', which does not have any number in it. The sendor detail just shows the name 'TM-YATRA'.
          When I talked to Customer care, they said they cant trace it.
          Can you please suggest how I should report this complaint and what action needs to be taken.
          I cant give my Mobile number on this site due to security reason, so if the site owner is taking action, then please contact on my Email id.

          That is effecting battary life and business priority.
          I am frequent traveller and effecting business deal.
          I had tried many time to send message to 1945 as suggested by customer care but of no help seems that all planned to harras customer.
          Pl. stop these non sense message with immediate effect.

            I have been a regular user of Vodafone for the last 2 years. I have been paying my bills on time too and my average bill is about Rs. 2,000 – Rs. 3,000 per month.

            On March 21, 2013, I received a bill from Vodafone amounting to Rs. 17,438.05. I was shocked on receiving a bill for that amount because neither have I made calls that substantiate that kind of amount, nor have I travelled internationally to incur any roaming costs.

            On checking the bill, I discovered that I have been billed heavily for my internet usage, for which I already have a 3G pack from Vodafone. I understand there is a cap of 8GB per month, but the usage for which I have been billed is actually impossible to achieve. Let me explain:

            According to the above sample, in less than a minute (54 seconds), I have consumed 152MB of data – this would translate into a speed of 3 MB per second or 24 megabits per second. That is impossible.

            There are several such instances in the bill, which I am sure if checked from Vodafone's end, they will realise that I have been overbilled erroneously.

            I have sent them several emails requesting Vodafone to take a look into the matter and correct the bill to arrive at a quick and smooth resolution to ensure I can make my payment on time and avoid the late payment charges. I am unable to pay such a high amount, especially since I have not even consumed the items I am being billed for.

            However, their customer service has not just been unhelpful, they have actually been cruel. I have been assigned a Relationship Manager who refuses to pick up my calls now.

            I have sent them at least six emails, finally begging them to just give me a complaint number so I can follow-up with the Nodal Officer and the Appellate Authority, but they have not even issued me a complaint number, and EVERY SINGLE TIME their reply is standard and automated - you have been billed correctly, we have checked your usage.

            Excuse me, but I can actually prove that it is IMPOSSIBLE to use 152 Megabytes of data in 54 seconds even on your 3G connection.

            They have absolutely no intention of resolving the issue. I know eventually they are going to hire goons to harass me and send me legal notices through random lawyers to browbeat me into paying them the entire sum.

            This is nothing but extortion and blackmail by Vodafone. Absolutely ridiculous customer service. I hope this gets heard or read by the right people.

            In my February bill, they have charged me of Rs. 1.20/- per SMS (on 14th feb) saying that it was a peak day for them & they will be charging me the same rate despite of my Talk Plan under which i got 444 local msgs free each month.

            I get my bill on every12th of month, though my billing cycle is 8-7th of every month,.
            I have been requesting vodafone to stop some value added services on my phone for a quite few months, which they haven't . Last mnth on getting my bill (12th) and called them,I was confirmed the VAS has been stopped. This month bill , again i got billed for the same.

            Can you please take action aganist them.

            HI iam using a vodafone postpaid CUG connection for the past 2 years and the billing cycle is everymonth 20th and they them selvs gave till 7 in the next month i can use the service without any intruptios,But thats not true my GRPS or vodafone live never work after 20th i need to call 24/7 support for help which sucks>last day i spoke a gut no name who is from cutomer care telling me no tech support or supervisor is available>i dont think so how come an agent working without a supervisor in a week day i know this is avoiding cx and now we have local number protabality so i dont care changing my service .........

              Today I am writing this mail to you after being totally hopeless and baffled and of course cheated by your company and your employees.

              I recharged with 399 blackberry services for my phone on 19th march and till today the services have not worked , talking to your customer care they blindly told me to change the sim card and did not even pay attention or had any clue telling me what was wrong

              Then on 30th march I went to Vodafone mini stores who told me that problem has been closed at backend by giving a comment that sim settings were needed and had been sent whereas nothing was sent

              This is the second time I have been told to replace my sim card and I don’t know why

              Finally I went to Vodafone store yesterday at nirman vihar where a gentleman claiming to me as highest authority instead of listening to the ordeal said today is Sunday go home it will get resolved by tomorrow , its 8 am right know and tomorrow strats at 12 am

              I need to know that I paid 400 rs on 19th, still services are not started why should you cheat me with my money

              I am absolutely shocked and speechless the guy claiming to be most senior at your store did not have any manners or customer handling skills in fact he challenged me to write to nodal officer and wanted us to just leave ,if he had gone little further I would have contacted police for harassment and intimidation of a girl

              From my journey from Vodafone customer care to vodafone store I have realized that you guys are some sorts of autocrats who perfect in the art of deceiving customers to get your share of our money

              For you customer is the least priority, customer care says they don’t know, mini store says they don’t know, Vodafone store says we don’t know

              May be this mail is the least priority mail for you and would end up in trash box but if you giys have any morals or work ethics left please call me on my alt no. [protected] and try to listen to me
              Get my problem resolved and start my blackberry services cycle from the day they actually start

              I don’t know after more than 5 years why you guys are forcing me to quit Vodafone , infact even my husband and my parents are now pondering switching over to other networks
              I know one or two switc overs don’t make difference but this is how start happens

              I would again request your good self sir/madam that in your life if you have ever worked with any ethic or moral resolve my issues including starting cycle from the day it works if not , then no problem for me
              Like your customer care representatives , mini store and voda store people you are also in my books not deserving your salary rather doing a day light robbery out of my pocket

                    We generally refrain ourselves from writing a complaint but this time the limits have been crossed. we had procured 2 prepaid connections from Vodafone executive at E Zone (Phoenix Mall – Viman Nagar) on 24th March.

                    We were told by the Vodafone executive that sim card will get activated in 24 Hours and we will be getting 1 GB of Internet Usage free. Unfortunately, today is the end of business day of 30th March and nothing has been done so far. The Sim cards are still not activated and this is a big disappointment.

                    We had approached EZone and had received the number of Javed (Ph: [protected]) from Vodafone. This person seems to be busier than the Hon. President of India as we have never been able to get through his number even after more than 100 attempts in last 5 days. He has only replied on SMS initially and has never picked up the phone.

                    We are aghast to see the level of poor customer service by Vodafone.

                    Bought 1 BPL Mobile hand set (B 5052C) on 14th April 2008( Invoice No.T6/118) from "e zone" Home Solutions Retail (India) Ltd, E Mall, No.6, Chitranjan Avenue, Kolkata - 700072.for Rs 1500.00 for handset and Rs.67.00 for the Sim card (Mobile No.[protected]/Sim No.[protected] under club scheme, which said that 2 months incoming will be there but unfortuanetly from the date of activation it says to recharge minimum with Rs.99.00 to retain the No. and the caller to this particular No.hears it is out of service.It is malpractices on their behalf for such false promises.Please help me.

                      I had inquired to Vodafone about Rs. 199 internet service on vodafone customer care department(111) They intimated me that it is unlimited internet offer. After activating this plan they send me sms like upto 2GB internet surfing you will enjoy regular speed after that your speed will be 40kbps. Had also check Vodafone banner which is out side of retail outlet. But their is no mentioned in banner that terms & Condition are their. They just wrote that enjoy unlimited internet in just RS.199 on your vodafone handset.

                      I Had a hard copy of banner & recording conversation of customer-care discussion. Which can useful as evidence. I am ready to go consumer court for this misguide.

                            This is with regard to Vodafone AP Circle - I had obtained a post paid connection with roaming facility and during the application process the information as provided by the sales outlet of vodafone didnot matched - anyway after exchange of various e-mails and number of calls to customer care the connection was activated.

                            Whereas since the receipt of first bill I had been notifying and lodging complaints at various times thru e-mails / calls to customer care with regard to the discrepancy in my name as mentioned in the bill / profile : every time I make a complaint the customer care without going thru the whole contents of the complaint - just recognises as name / address change request and forwards a condition to submit the documents again.

                            First of all my complaint is not properly looked into and the responses provided are very vague. As such finally they have struck at the provision of documents from my end which is not acceptable to me (number of documents can be provided if the request is for name / address change) since the discrepancy is from Vodafone and based on the documents submitted while applying for connection they should correct the name.

                            Finally my experience with Vodafone can be rated as very bad (worst when it comes to customer care) - I would like to bring this to the general public the attitude and customer care response of vodafone.

                              But due to same network issue in my indoor with Airtel, I again want to port my number to Vodafone. so I submitted request for MNP in 16-Jan-2013 with Vodafone but my porting request is cancelled & the reason given by Vodafone is that Airtel don't want to loose their customer consequently they rejected my request.

                              I again submitted request for same on[protected] for Vodafone Prepaid, but again my request for portability cancelled with in 2 hours of submitting request, this time explanation given by Vodafone is that, there is some technical error in porting my number.

                              They called me up after last cancellation & emphasized me to port my number from Airtel Prepaid to Vodafone Postpaid, even I don't want Postpaid connection, but just to enter in Vodafone & has the option to convert from postpaid to prepaid, I accepted Postpaid connection, I submit all documents on[protected].

                              The Current status is... Today is[protected], my number is running with Airtel, MNP request is till pending & I don't know the status whether it will be completed or not. The UPC code is AD557218

                              Vodafone Store & customer care at 111, not able to provide me any status or any description of Fault or technical error. This is just harassing me a lot for a very small & simple thing.

From 2nd of march my local call charges are 1.99 and this is not reducing because no scheme(combo, homezone) is aplicable on my fone. i have gone to vodafone mini store in abohar and also to main store in Mohali 3b2. but the exicutives are not able to solve my problem.i m using the sms without rent and without charges.my customer care is also shut off, please help me

                              requested a port out of vf on 28/1 and got the upc vt143149. On 1/2 /11 I got an sms that the porting was canceled due to contractual issues and asked to call 111. I called 111 but the cc rep was rude and did not help, and did not give a reason why the process was canceled. Now Every day around 4-5 pm I get calls from vodafone (reps from Chennai) [protected] asking me why I want to port out, and I have told them many times, but no one is answering my q as to why I am not allowed to port out. I have also written to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com

                              I'm Krishna from Bangalore . I'm trying to move out from vodafone to airtel under MNP . But Vodafone is rejecting my porting requests with very lame excuses . This is very annoying . It says under contractual obligations , this porting is rejected. I don't have any contract with vodafone. If they want people to stay in their network itself , then they can provide better service which they don't do at all . Vodafone needs to be penalized for such arrogant response.

                              same problem for me also. Airtel rejected my porting request with false reason.
                              You can first complaint it to Nodal officer then to Appellate Officer
                              of Vodafone.

                              Please don't port to Airtel. They are worst.
                              Try Docomo or Uninor.

                              Vodafone — MNP rejection

                              i’ve submitted the mnp application, as i want to move from vodafone to airtel so that i can get 3G in airtel.. but till now i’ve not got any information on mnp as my existing vodafone no is still active, i called vodafone customer care and they are saying that Airtel has yet send them the request to deactivate my vodafone no and when i called airtel they are saying that there dont follow any such procedure and saying my application has been processed from their end and airtel is saying that the issue is with vodafone. then i called vodafone mnp tollfree no and checked my mnp status- it still says application has been rejected due to contractual obligation but vodafone says it is not there issue and saying it is cleared now.. i called both vodafone and airtel so many times and both are pointing each other and i am clueless now and i dont know what to do to solve this problem..

                              Vodafone — mnp for postpaid to prepaid rejection

                              I requested MNP from my vodafone postpaid to bsnl on o4-06(june)-11 and got unique porting number VA557691.
                              on the next 2 hours I got an update from Vodafone that my request dated 04 June 11 is rejected due to number or range is in contractual obligation. i had gone for the vodafone store for details. and they told me that i should pay 10000 rs towards premium number for migrating or to convert to vodafone prepaid. i had already paid rs:1800 for the number. and they told i can move to prepaid after 6 months without any charges and also deposit is paid back. now they asking for money for prepaid and migration also. they are saying u should pay rs:10000 as this premium number and they did not inform me that i should pay extra money for converting to prepaid or network migration during paying of the money.they are saying u number has discount at that time.u should pay for prepaid migration.

                                Hi,

                                I have sent a mail to corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com regarding the Disconnection of my Vodafone Postpaid Service of the number [protected].
                                I received an acknowledgement stating that my Pospaid Connection will be Deactivated on 16th Feb 13.

                                I was also told to clear the outstanding amount and I have did it.

                                Unfortunately, the postpaid connection is active till date and I have received a bill for the period 18th feb 13 to 24th Mar 13.
                                I wish my problem will be resolved ASAP.

And i want to surrender my this number,and thats why i have also went to Vodafone store ANSAL PLAZA.and i also told them to surrender my pospaid no., but they didn't surrender my no. and told me that this number can be surrender by e-mail or enternet,or the place where i have buy it.and they let me sit for 1 hour,and there are 4,5 customers which have been sitting there for a long time,because there is one counter which is open and other 3 counters are closed, and the rest staff was sitting inside.and the girl who is sitting on the counter she didn't surrender my number. then i have call to customer care ,they have said your number will be surrender by only vodafone store.i have said that they didn't surrendering the number,then the staff of customer care said me that,let me talk to that girl which was on the counter,but that girl were not talking to them. but when i force her to surrender,she said that ''ok i see''.then for a while she is filling some form,i dont know what is she doing,then after filing that form ,that girl says that your connection will be disconnect in 72 hours. from 19-3-13 to today 28-3-13, it is not disconnected. my current no. is [protected] to which you can call me. thank you
