We generally refrain ourselves from writing a complaint but this time the limits have been crossed. we had procured 2 prepaid connections from Vodafone executive at E Zone (Phoenix Mall – Viman Nagar) on 24th March.

We were told by the Vodafone executive that sim card will get activated in 24 Hours and we will be getting 1 GB of Internet Usage free. Unfortunately, today is the end of business day of 30th March and nothing has been done so far. The Sim cards are still not activated and this is a big disappointment.

We had approached EZone and had received the number of Javed (Ph: [protected]) from Vodafone. This person seems to be busier than the Hon. President of India as we have never been able to get through his number even after more than 100 attempts in last 5 days. He has only replied on SMS initially and has never picked up the phone.

We are aghast to see the level of poor customer service by Vodafone.

e zone — No talk time (Vodafone)

Bought 1 BPL Mobile hand set (B 5052C) on 14th April 2008( Invoice No.T6/118) from "e zone" Home Solutions Retail (India) Ltd, E Mall, No.6, Chitranjan Avenue, Kolkata - 700072.for Rs 1500.00 for handset and Rs.67.00 for the Sim card (Mobile No.[protected]/Sim No.[protected] under club scheme, which said that 2 months incoming will be there but unfortuanetly from the date of activation it says to recharge minimum with Rs.99.00 to retain the No. and the caller to this particular No.hears it is out of service.It is malpractices on their behalf for such false promises.Please help me.

Vodafone — number activation

i am kulwinder banga my number is [protected] .i have transfer my number from airtel to vodafone on 2-2-2011. and i am enjoying the services as reguler customer but sudenly in[protected] my number has been deactivate and the resion told me that my ID prof have not been submited so on[protected] i have submited the document but till now my number has not been activeted.i have visited to regional manager of ludhiana Mr. Tarun but i am not get any responce . and the behaviour of vodafone serveces toward my problem is to bad . so please take action regarding this and activate my number as soon as possible
i am not getting poper responce from vvodafone customer care and my number is not activated till now

    Dear Sir,
    I had inquired to Vodafone about Rs. 199 internet service on vodafone customer care department(111) They intimated me that it is unlimited internet offer. After activating this plan they send me sms like upto 2GB internet surfing you will enjoy regular speed after that your speed will be 40kbps. Had also check Vodafone banner which is out side of retail outlet. But their is no mentioned in banner that terms & Condition are their. They just wrote that enjoy unlimited internet in just RS.199 on your vodafone handset.

    I Had a hard copy of banner & recording conversation of customer-care discussion. Which can useful as evidence. I am ready to go consumer court for this misguide.

      HI,
      we have using 2 no. of vodafone one postpaid & one pre paid but no mobile signal @ my home and my home is well located & its fully authorised prithvi raj road new delhi 110011near khan market.

      i have alrady complaint for it on call centre but no replay..

      Vodafone — no signals

      My office is in masjid moth, uday park, new delhi, but there are no signal at all of vodafone, only airtel works here. all vodafone connection in my office are dead, this place is a commercial area even then the connection doest work, my no is [protected], pls help or i should also discontinue it like others??

      I have adopting vodaphone services since 1999, i have changed my mobile also in October 2010, model no. E-5 Nokia. but till date services of vodaphone is week in my residence address 2209 sector 9 Faridabad. I have complaint many times to vodaphone customer care.
      This time they gave me a permanent sollution till 31st August 2011.But i am having the same problem of week signal.
      If they don't do the permanent sollution i will change the services.

        paid Rs. 150/= through billdesk vodaphone from Axis bank internet banking vide transection No. ICONN/69606357/270313/VODAFONE(BILLDESK) on 27th March 2013, towards recharge of Mobile No. [protected]. Receipt of transection from Axis Bank received. Vodaphone the service provider has not yet updated the account. Vodaphone customercare is not helping. Please help.

          This is with regard to Vodafone AP Circle - I had obtained a post paid connection with roaming facility and during the application process the information as provided by the sales outlet of vodafone didnot matched - anyway after exchange of various e-mails and number of calls to customer care the connection was activated.

          Whereas since the receipt of first bill I had been notifying and lodging complaints at various times thru e-mails / calls to customer care with regard to the discrepancy in my name as mentioned in the bill / profile : every time I make a complaint the customer care without going thru the whole contents of the complaint - just recognises as name / address change request and forwards a condition to submit the documents again.

          First of all my complaint is not properly looked into and the responses provided are very vague. As such finally they have struck at the provision of documents from my end which is not acceptable to me (number of documents can be provided if the request is for name / address change) since the discrepancy is from Vodafone and based on the documents submitted while applying for connection they should correct the name.

          Finally my experience with Vodafone can be rated as very bad (worst when it comes to customer care) - I would like to bring this to the general public the attitude and customer care response of vodafone.

          the vodafone is the worstest company were the cmpany is not doing POSTpaid to prepaid but as per the TRAI it has to be done but when ever i ask for POST to PRE they say some technical problem and some says it is not possible in vodafone ..finally company will cancell the sevice if not agreeing to continue the post paid conection

            My mobile number is xxxx (currently with Airtel) is with Vodafone since 2005 but due to Network issue in my indoor, I had ported my number to Airtel in[protected].

            But due to same network issue in my indoor with Airtel, I again want to port my number to Vodafone. so I submitted request for MNP in 16-Jan-2013 with Vodafone but my porting request is cancelled & the reason given by Vodafone is that Airtel don't want to loose their customer consequently they rejected my request.

            I again submitted request for same on[protected] for Vodafone Prepaid, but again my request for portability cancelled with in 2 hours of submitting request, this time explanation given by Vodafone is that, there is some technical error in porting my number.

            They called me up after last cancellation & emphasized me to port my number from Airtel Prepaid to Vodafone Postpaid, even I don't want Postpaid connection, but just to enter in Vodafone & has the option to convert from postpaid to prepaid, I accepted Postpaid connection, I submit all documents on[protected].

            The Current status is... Today is[protected], my number is running with Airtel, MNP request is till pending & I don't know the status whether it will be completed or not. The UPC code is AD557218

            Vodafone Store & customer care at 111, not able to provide me any status or any description of Fault or technical error. This is just harassing me a lot for a very small & simple thing.

            Vodafone — technical error in my vodafone prepaid account

            sir,

            i m a prepaid user of vodafone punjab. my mobile no. is [protected]. From 2nd of march my local call charges are 1.99 and this is not reducing because no scheme(combo, homezone) is aplicable on my fone. i have gone to vodafone mini store in abohar and also to main store in Mohali 3b2. but the exicutives are not able to solve my problem.i m using the sms without rent and without charges.my customer care is also shut off, please help me

            I am using in (ROTN) 2 year on vodafone customer GOOD COMPANY in world-class MOBILE NETWORK CONNECTION (MNC), THE coverage will good in INDIA (GSM), CUSTOMER EFFECTIVE (111) is V.V.V GOOD, but post pair cs bill's sending not properly. in company responsible officer is not care,
            IN tamilnadu customer is going on chennai is facing lot of porblem in only FREGUENCY, her in 900Mhz(TN), but chennai using 1800Mhz that's the HUG porblam (this is oprate old technology) in the world,
            My mobile no. is [protected](prepaid), i've activated national sms @29p bonus coupon on 16th jan 09.
            Still it is not activated. When i'm entering 14 digit code it displays message on my mobile screen that
            "RECHARGE NOT POSSIBLE". Number of times i've contacted to customer care but all in vain.
            Please do something otherwise i will discontinue with your service.

            Vodafone — MNP rejection vodafone

            requested a port out of vf on 28/1 and got the upc vt143149. On 1/2 /11 I got an sms that the porting was canceled due to contractual issues and asked to call 111. I called 111 but the cc rep was rude and did not help, and did not give a reason why the process was canceled. Now Every day around 4-5 pm I get calls from vodafone (reps from Chennai) [protected] asking me why I want to port out, and I have told them many times, but no one is answering my q as to why I am not allowed to port out. I have also written to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com

            Vodafone — Vodafone rejecting MNP

            Hi,

            I'm Krishna from Bangalore . I'm trying to move out from vodafone to airtel under MNP . But Vodafone is rejecting my porting requests with very lame excuses . This is very annoying . It says under contractual obligations , this porting is rejected. I don't have any contract with vodafone. If they want people to stay in their network itself , then they can provide better service which they don't do at all . Vodafone needs to be penalized for such arrogant response.

            same problem for me also. Airtel rejected my porting request with false reason.
            You can first complaint it to Nodal officer then to Appellate Officer
            of Vodafone.

            Please don't port to Airtel. They are worst.
            Try Docomo or Uninor.

            Vodafone — MNP rejection

            i’ve submitted the mnp application, as i want to move from vodafone to airtel so that i can get 3G in airtel.. but till now i’ve not got any information on mnp as my existing vodafone no is still active, i called vodafone customer care and they are saying that Airtel has yet send them the request to deactivate my vodafone no and when i called airtel they are saying that there dont follow any such procedure and saying my application has been processed from their end and airtel is saying that the issue is with vodafone. then i called vodafone mnp tollfree no and checked my mnp status- it still says application has been rejected due to contractual obligation but vodafone says it is not there issue and saying it is cleared now.. i called both vodafone and airtel so many times and both are pointing each other and i am clueless now and i dont know what to do to solve this problem..

            Vodafone — mnp for postpaid to prepaid rejection

            I requested MNP from my vodafone postpaid to bsnl on o4-06(june)-11 and got unique porting number VA557691.
            on the next 2 hours I got an update from Vodafone that my request dated 04 June 11 is rejected due to number or range is in contractual obligation. i had gone for the vodafone store for details. and they told me that i should pay 10000 rs towards premium number for migrating or to convert to vodafone prepaid. i had already paid rs:1800 for the number. and they told i can move to prepaid after 6 months without any charges and also deposit is paid back. now they asking for money for prepaid and migration also. they are saying u should pay rs:10000 as this premium number and they did not inform me that i should pay extra money for converting to prepaid or network migration during paying of the money.they are saying u number has discount at that time.u should pay for prepaid migration.

              Hi,

              I have sent a mail to corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com regarding the Disconnection of my Vodafone Postpaid Service of the number [protected].
              I received an acknowledgement stating that my Pospaid Connection will be Deactivated on 16th Feb 13.

              I was also told to clear the outstanding amount and I have did it.

              Unfortunately, the postpaid connection is active till date and I have received a bill for the period 18th feb 13 to 24th Mar 13.
              I wish my problem will be resolved ASAP.

And i want to surrender my this number,and thats why i have also went to Vodafone store ANSAL PLAZA.and i also told them to surrender my pospaid no., but they didn't surrender my no. and told me that this number can be surrender by e-mail or enternet,or the place where i have buy it.and they let me sit for 1 hour,and there are 4,5 customers which have been sitting there for a long time,because there is one counter which is open and other 3 counters are closed, and the rest staff was sitting inside.and the girl who is sitting on the counter she didn't surrender my number. then i have call to customer care ,they have said your number will be surrender by only vodafone store.i have said that they didn't surrendering the number,then the staff of customer care said me that,let me talk to that girl which was on the counter,but that girl were not talking to them. but when i force her to surrender,she said that ''ok i see''.then for a while she is filling some form,i dont know what is she doing,then after filing that form ,that girl says that your connection will be disconnect in 72 hours. from 19-3-13 to today 28-3-13, it is not disconnected. my current no. is [protected] to which you can call me. thank you

                      i request you to please look upon my problem as soon as possible. because vodafone has barred my outgoing calls.
                      and given me a bill of rs14997 which is not correct according to me because they've put a charge of over using my internet pack.
                      which is totally incorrect and fake i am a 50 year old and im a kidney transplant patient and hence how can i use 14000rs of internet. kindly find a solution to my problem as i want my outgoing to be debarred ASAP>

                        This is happning for second time vodafone has deducted from my prepaid balance charges for internet usage although my internet pack is active.
                        As usual vodafone guys justifying the charges on false grounds...they must refund the money they have deducted.
                        and they dont have proper reason for charges. When internet pack is active then there should not be any deductions for internet and for their technical problems they should not charge customers and if they do least they can do is refund money instead of giving false reasons. This does not only show poor service but poor customer service as well.
                        I urge whoever using vodafone internet please dont keep much balance in your main account as they would deduct it anytime and give false reasons and we customers have to bear for their technical problems. Vodafone should enhance their technical system and not increase their customer base if they are not able to give proper customer service.
                        And also consider shifting to other operators if you are using 2g internet as this is happning often and you will end up loosing your balance and hard earned money.

                        VODAFONE-Delhi — WSrong Deduction of balance

                        I, Neeraj Verma customer of prepaid([protected]) called a STD no. without attaching 0 before the no. I got the instruction that "The dialed no. is wrong, It may be possible that you did not put ZERO before the no."But 1.30 Rs. were deducted from my account without connecting the call.When I contacted the customer care they did not give me any satisfactory answer.

I am one of the vodafone users who has spoiled enough of my precious time speaking to worthless people in the customer support. No one is ready to assist the customers. The whle story started when one of the customer support agents provided me with incorrect information that if i recharge my account with Rs 124 i will get my call rates reduced as well as i will get balance near abt 100 bucks to my accoun. Only the tax would be deducted from Rs 124 amount nothing else. I went ahead n did the same. I got a balance of just 49 paise. So i got to know later on that i hav spoiled my Rs 124 because of the incorrect nformaion provided to me by one of the customer support agents. Then i started making calls to get it escalated n resolved. Two supervisors committed me a refund as well "Anuj" and " Sanjay". They did commit me a callback as well and this all was supposed to happen within a time frame of 24 hrs. Its been more than 5-6 days. No one has taken up the issue or tried to resolve it. My calls to customer care have also been barred. All i have got is trouble and nothing else. The people at your customer care just put the customes in trouble, take money from them by cheating them, by providing them incorrect information, by mistreating them, by doing wrong committments and giving many more inconveniences. This is not all. The agent there had half of the times hung up on me when i asked for a supervisor and half of the times they put me on mute for a long time saying they cannot get me a supervisor on the line n doing their call closing. Then let me know if they were not able to get a supervisor on the line for me why were they sitting on mute or why were the others able to get a supervisor on the line for me.. Were those the special agents. I am really so pissed off with the services that i would not at all like to continue anymore. But let me tell you people, the way you cheated me is not the way anyone should do bussiness. And i would not be a single person getting this connection dropped soon bt will advice or rather force all other employees in my corportae sector to do the same. I have received the most and disgusting service any service provider would ever provide to his customers. Still hoping to get some relaxation for the inconvenience i have experienced.

                        This Sripathi Rao, I recently bought a data card of worth 1900 rupees supporting upto 7.2 Mbps, I activated ulimited browsing of Rs.450, after activation whenever I start browsing the balance in the SIM card get deducted so that it will not connect next time onwards, this happend so many ttimes, and I went to local customer care also but no use at all,I think Vodafone people do'nt work effectively or their products do'nt work effectively,
                        VODAFONE SUCKS, NO SERVICE AT ALL , CUSTOMER CARE CAN'NT RESOLVES ANY PROBLEM INSTEAD THEY REFER SOME ONE AND SAY THEY WILL DO LIKE THAT.WORST SERVICE, THEY ONLY KNOW TO CHEAT PEOPLE THATS ALL,

                        UNECESSARILY MAKING ADVERTISEMENTS TO CHEAT PROPLE , VODAFONE GUYS ARE CHEATERS.

                          I have bought brand new galaxy grand on 13th March 2013 (purchase date) and started using my phone from 21st March 2013 onward (sim inserted) and i have been informed that with this new handset you will get 3G data for 2 months up to 2 GB absolutely free and with direction o[censored]sage by your Samsung Executive i inserted Vodafone Sim to avail benefit of 3G for 2 months but till now although its almost ., the plan activation message has not came and no confirmation for the same has been received. I also spoke to their call center with customer care officials and visited Vodafone store Punjabi Bagh in Delhi but they also won't be able to help me out apart from making fake promises as they always do. Tried to spoke to their Nodal officer as per the details on the Vodafone website but nothing happened as the phone is always on hold as they are busy and will assist you shortly kind of MSG.

                          If they cant do and provide the services then they should tell the customers about the same and also its about samsung they should not do such fake tie-ups with companies

                          My Free Gift — Not yet activated and the site not opening

                          I had recently purchased the books paying Rs. 574/- and received it after calling them 4 to 5 times. Now I have to followup for my freegifts. Very pity to see that we have to dial std line wasting so much of money. India Today and there is no toll free lines installed, maybe after making some money from customer like us, they will do the needful of installing toll free lines.

                          Whenever you try to open the site for free gift, it never turns on and then we have to call them compulsory so that they get their commission from mtnl or bsnl for calling them via std dialing.

                          Since last 2 hours I am trying to open the site for free gift but it refuses to open, as if it is barred to the customer and will work only for itbc people.

                          Please look into this and solve the problem at the earlier.

                            In this period i got a shocking information, my no activate with name Mr. Siddhartha Mehrotra or Mr Siddhartha using my no fraudntly and he is employee of vodafone at Vodafone store station road Bareilly, when i know that i request to Siddhartha for returning my no but Siddhartha is never given me a resolution and refuse to me or never receive my call.

                              I am Girish Tandon & I have got Vodafone prepaid sim card (Mob No [protected]). On 14 Jan 12, I recharged my mob with Rs 100 in which I got Rs 88 as Talk time. Along with this I got interned plan of 1 GB in Rs 98. At around 0530 PM I got the sms stating that my mob is recharged with 88 Rs talk time, and another message stating that my internet got activated. After receiving the sms i used the net for sometime. In the evening when I tried to call my home, I was told that I had insufficient balance in my account.
                              Next day when I spoke to the cust care, their executive regretted this & promised to refund my account balance by 0600 PM and also that he has formally recorded my complain. But not after three days also I have not got my balance & at the same time there is no cust care executive available at 111....

                              Please do the needful to avoid any action against the service provider in future....
                              Sir, This is my first day with Vodafone. I have just ported in today. I had placed a complaint regarding unnecessary balance deduction. Complaint number "[protected]". The customer care executives were not answerable to me eventhough i call six times a day. The only reply given to me was that "our system is not showing any updates". Over and above this, my calls are barred to 198 and 111. I am very dissatisfied with the customer assistance on the very first day. There was an deduction of RS 45 at 16:20 on 5th April 2012.                               As usual vodafone guys justifying the charges on false grounds...they must refund the money they have deducted.
                              and they dont have proper reason for charges. When internet pack is active then there should not be any deductions for internet and for their technical problems they should not charge customers and if they do least they can do is refund money instead of giving false reasons. This does not only show poor service but poor customer service as well.
                              this is second time its happening and we should not keep extra balance in main account as they would wipe it out anytime and if you complaint they will give us false reasons and we customers have to end up loosing our hard earned money because of their technical problems.
                              Iam not at all satisfied with their customer service and they are not at all improving in the service as we facing same problem again and again.
                              So we should not keep extra balance in our main account as if they charge us for something which we havent used will end up running behind them and at the end of the day will loose more money on calls made for complaints. And looking at their poor service ill have to consider changing operator for myself and all my family and friends.

Before one & half month only I have changed my service provider from Airtel to Vodafone, because Vodafone was giving the free offer for MNP customers which is 1p/2sec, free 100 SMS/day with 6 months validity. Now Before 1 week they have changed the plan without informing me now the SMS costs me 50p/sms & call rate 2p/sec. So please take my complaint regarding this because they are making fool to customers by showing good plans and then they are changing themselves. And their network is not good compare to Airtel so I wanna get that plan again or tell me how to go again with Airtel before 90days.
                                Because I cant use this plan and the service provider any more. And I have called so many times to customer care but they dint resolve and also they wont try to understand and response well with customers.So please resolve my problem As Soon As Possible.

                                Everytime I try to access my bill information online the page goes to 'page cannot be found'. I have even complained many times with their customer care but they refuse to take in a complaint.

Before 1 week it was working little bit fine but from last 17 march I’m unable to open any web page on my nokia lumia 710. & till today I didn’t get any help from Vodafone I had registered complaint in voda customer care on 17/03/2013(Complaint no:-[protected]) & as per your promises to customer for solution of any problem will be rectified within 48hrs but this is not delivered. & as you aware this is the essar group corporate number & if you are not able to provide data plan service on this number so kindly inform.

                                    I have activated GPRS 99 data pack on 13/01/2013 & from that day I have facing a lot of problem related internet speed I’m unable to open the any browser page due to low speed on my nokia lumia 710 & I have registered 2-3 times complaint at Vodafone care & also visited at Vodafone store but both executives suggested to replace the sim card that I have replaced on 24th Jan but still I’m facing the same problem & complaint registered at Vodafone care for the same, please do the needful to resolve the problem at the earliest.

                                    Vodafone — Not Replacing damaged Sim

                                    my sim has been damaged. I want to replace my sim with new one. But still vodafone employers service of(AMRITSAR) are not corporating.
                                    they are fail to maintain their promises...

                                    as per given optimization date from you still today none of vodafone executives neither call me nor resolve my Internet speed related problem.

                                    as per our telephonic communication you are aware my problem & still today i couldn't get any help so whats the meaning of this the vodafone team not capable to meet their promises of Customer or is this not that much important for you.

                                      i would like to make a complaint against vodafone for not providing proper service.
                                      because of some external damage my sim card (ph no-[protected]) was not working and i wanted to get a duplicate sim with the same number as soon as possible.
                                      Because the sim was of maharashtra state (pune) and i was roaming in jharkhand state (jamshedpur) i had to face a lot of harrassments. i still dont have number with me. i went to the vodafone mini store in jamshedpur with my id proof so as to get a duplicate sim issued. A guy named mr. prem was the only staff there.He had no clue as to what to do, he just said that i will have to go to vodafone head office in ranchi. i enquired with a friend in pune and the vodafone mini store guys there said that i can get the sim if i sent my id proof documents to them through courier. i did that and when my friend was there with the documents they simply denied issuing me a sim.i still dont hav the number with me because of which i am facing huge losses. if this is the way people work at vodafone then i am sorry to say this is the worst service provider i have ever used. if vodafone doesnt care about its customer then i think it should close down its operations. very disheartened to see vodafone do this.

                                        I did the Recharge of 300 Rs from standard charted online banking to my fathers number but Vodafone is denying of any recharge record.Now money is deducted from the account but recharge is not done.
