I have been trying to get Vodafone to change the plan on one of our numbers ([protected]) to the 299 Per Sec plan which is listed on their website.

When I spoke to customer service initially around Mar 6th they told me that the request has been taken and the plan will be changed along with some of the other changes that I requested wihin 4 hours.

I spoke to them the next morning and they told me that one of the changes was made and they flatly denied any other change requests. They canceled the 0.50 paise STD along plan which would not have been necessary had I moved to the new plan.

I requested them to listen to the recorded conversation assuming that they have one and they asked me to specify the changes. After I specified them they said that the plan I was requesting was not a normal plan (whatever that means) and that I should goto the Vodafone store. I asked them to reactivate the 50 paise STD plan in the mean time so that I dont may extra for STD. For this they wanted to change me the full cost of the plan and not pro ratta. This was a way of making additional money while I waited for my plan to be changed.

I thought that going to the store was highly irregular but I sent my person there. They said that since this is in the name of a company please email corporate care from a company email id. I got this done.

They got back with a cryptic mail about contacting our relationship manager. We emailed back asking for contact details of this unknown relationship manager who never bothered contacting us or making him self known in someway.

They gave as an email address and no phone number for this manager. We emailed him on friday and have not received an acknowledgement forget a plan change.

I cannot believe that I have to jump through so many hoops to get my plan change. This is highly un ethical behavior.

I had problems with Vodafone 2 months ago as well during a port.

I think that their customer service which was the best in the industry not one year ago has become very very poor.

          Hi,

Please go through the trail mail for comple info. In brief :- I also had raised complaint with appellate.[protected]@vodafone.com and from there I was requested to pay INR500/- only and they assured me the disputed amount would get reversed in next billing cycly which didnt happen and they also charged late payment fee. When I called today(20Mar130 to Mr Kunal ([protected] -officer appellate) for clarification he simply denied for any such commitment for reversal of amount.

They confirmed every thing in telephonic conversation with me on/after 22Feb2013 before this I was also exchanging mail with them.

          Thanks,

          Respected Sir/Madam,

Please go through the trail mail, I have been raising my issues with vodafone through mail but every time they are just coping and pasting the same revert that they replied in the first mail, it is rediculous...

Can you please help me out with this:-

I have been using vodofone postpaid services ([protected]) for couple of years.

          1) On 16Feb2013 I got to know that my amount due for the current bill period was INR 706.74/- which was very unusual because usually it remains around 200/-.

          2) when I raised a query with customer care (Vodafone) and also got e-bill statement on 18Feb2013 I found that INR 448.31/- (399+S.Tax) was additional charged againstBlackBerry Prosumer ULD 399 (15.02.13 to 14.03.13) which I never used.

          3) I raised the query with customer care (Vodafone) many times till 19Feb2013 and asked them to waive off the over charged amount (INR 448.31) in the same billing period and I was also ready to pay the balance due (INR 258.43) on the very same day which they simply rejected.

          4) Therefor I decided to switch to new service provider and requested for PORT on 19Feb13 evening.

          5) Again I called their call center on 20Feb13 to resolve the issue but found no positive response.

          6) then I asked them to stop services with immdiate effect and told them to get me the full/final settlement, so that i can pay off by today evening (20Feb2013), but again they simply denied to do it.

          7) They started blackmailing me having said that I had to pay the entire billing amount (INR 706.74/-) by 20Feb13 (Due Date 05.03.13), else they will reject my PORT request which I need to switch to other service provider.

          8) I am ready to pay the billing amount (excluding over charged amount) or even full/final settlement amount by today evening so that i can switch to other mobile service provider.

Please assist me to resolve this issue or suggest me how can I approach to Consumer Court for this.

          Thanks,

          Manish Sharma

          Dear Preeti,

          Greetings!!!

with reference to trail, please find my comment below:-

          1) BB Prosumer service:- When I did not raise any request for this, why this was activated in my account. I never wanted this and never used this service. I am using your post paid plan which means the bill should be raised in the next month but BB Prosumer Rental was raised in advance, Why? (i.e.the paid service started from 15Feb13)

          2) Post Deactivation of the Plan:- Yes, please deactive this plan, if this is still active in my account as I have already raised so many request/queries for the deactivation of the plan.

Please do let me know, as I want to pay only the actual usage amount (INR 258,43) now and the remaining disputed balance (INR 448.31) can be adjusted in the next billing cycle.

          3) Calling/SMS - I have never raised any query against calling details or SMS usages, therefor I am not doubting on your integrity or reliability.

My only concern is all about the BBP service that was activated in my account which i never wanted and asking for advance rental of the services which i never used.

          4) wish to Port out - I called so many times to your call center to resolve this issue but never got any positive feedback from their end and observed that they never wanted to retain their old customer. Therefor I decided switch to and it would be great if you could help me out for this as I am ready to pay all the actual usage amount till dated excluding disputed balance (INR 448.31).

Looking for a positive response from your end and thank you very much for your kind revert.

          Thanks,

          Manish Sharma

Vodafone India — Rental Charges raised without my confirmation

          Dear Sir/Madam,

My mobile number for Vodafone is 91-[protected] and my name is Utkarsh Parikh.

My mobile bill for month of Feb 2011 came very high and when i checked it , i came to know that the rental charges per month has been raised from Rs. 149 to Rs. 350 which is very unacceptable. none of your customer assistans had contact me.

Logically if you check my mobile bills for last 12 months it wa hardly Rs 300 + and suddenly when i checked it , it was Rs 563.

So i am not definately not going to pay such amount. i also tried to contact you people through 111 but 4 time your customer service assistant did not response properly. they pick up the phone and put it down. i also requested them to contact me or asked someone from your higher department to conact me but no response this time and thats why i am writing down this mail.

i am very much disappointed as your network service is good but post sales service is very poor.

i want someone to contact me ASAP an my last bill date is 22nd march 2011.

          Regards

Vodafone — excess mobile post bills

          Respected Sir,

I am a post paid subscriber of Vodafone since 2002 infact i got this connection when Hutch came first in chennai.

Everymonth i have been paying my phone bill beyond my expectation.

Actually i was in a trariff plan where STD is charged Rs.0.50 per minute. But every month the bill comes more than Rs.1000.00.

So far i was thinking may be i make lots of calls thats the reason the bills are so high.

But today 16.09.2011 I came home bit early so I got the time to go through the bill details and found the call charges as follows:

STD Call Duration : 968:00 minutes
          Charges : Rs 1010.10

So call Rate : Rs 1.30 per min

LOCAL Call Duration : 348:00 minutes

          Local Call charges: Rs.98.01

But as per my trariff STD call charge is Rs 0.50 per min.

Last 3 mionths i got few calls from vodafone officials asking me changing my plan to a plan which will be benifitet to me.

Everytime they call me they say some attractive trariff but every time i was said that the STD charges will be 50paise per minute.

Last i got call and had my tariff changed where again the STD rate was quoted as 50 Paise per minute with an additional facility of free National SMS.

When I call the Vodafone Customer Care they told as my i have changed my plan in between on 24.08.2011 so i am not be getting the benifit of my old as well as my new tariff plan till 24.09.2011 instead i will be charged Rs.1.50 per minute for STD.

So its their pre-planned tactics to make the customer fool. So far i have been made fool by volunteerily calling me and get my tariff plan changed, and charge extra amount of bill.

I wonder everymonht how comes my phone bill comes so much.

The Vodafone Customer Care i made the complaint the complaint no. is [protected] at 4:25pm on 16.09.2011, the executive who wrote the complaint is Ms AKILA.

Sir, I would like to request you please look into the matter and let me know if i can claim the extra amount charged to me so far.

Note: As per Ms AKILA the STD Call were charged at Rs1.50 per minute then what about the LOCAL CALL rate why it has been given discount for Local calls?

              Hi,

I have bought a Vodafone SIM card from Bangalore on 16/Mar/2013, and the Vodafone dealer told me that I have to pay Rs 50 for the SIMCARD. I checked the prepaid pack and noticed that the cost of the SIM is Rs 10, asked about this to the Vodafone Dealer. He says that i will get 35 Rs for 20 Rs talktime. I called up customer care and found that Rs 20 talk time offered by Vodafone and not by the dealer. So the dealer is the trying to cheat the customers by giving false information.

And also the Vodafone dealer promised me that the SIM will be activated by Monday evening (18/Mar/2013), now its almost 3 days over and the card has NOT been activated, called Customer Care multiple times and there were not able to give a proper answer as to why the SIM has not yet been activated!.

Not sure why the trusted Vodafone Dealer cheats their customers with false promises and Vodafone customer care not even able to answer as to why the SIM card has not been activated yet OR they were not able to tell when will be the card be activated!.

Its a competitive world, and vodafone does not want to be genuine to the customer who trusts their services.

Totally dis-appointed and am gonna look for some other service provider who can provide a better service.

Just writing this on a good will that people like me should not get cheated by the Vodafone Dealer.

              Thanks,
              Kumar

Vodafone Prepaid - Chennai — False Information: Loss of Money

              Hi,

I have been using Vodafone/Hutch prepaid for almost 2.5 yrs. I was in the monthly plan, on 19th-Feb-2010 i was automatically migrated to Lifetime Validity and without my information.
When i checked with customer care, i was informed that since validity was getting over they migrated me. But it was done without my consent. Now i have to pay more for my local calls.
When asked that i need to migrate back to my monthly plan, one of the customer care person suggested me to do a validity reacharge and it would automatically revert. When i did a recharge, i was not reverted and now the customer care person say that such remigration is not possible.
If this is not possible Vodafone should have informed me upfront. They should not have asked me to do a validity recharge for which the talktime is very less.
This is the worst service i hav experienced.
              Hi Thilak,

I have a similar problem too..i changed to lifetime thinking it was a top up and it got migrated to lifetime.when i spoke to customer care, he said its not possible to migrate to any other scheme. Now, i have to change my number to any other provider or my number cos this is not comfortable for me.
              ii don't blew Vodafone service
              Hi Vodafone Custimer Care,

But lost money (trust) is already lost, cannot be taken back. Now i lost all the value that i had on Vodafone with this issue. Bad thing is that Vodafone Customer Support team did NOT take any action on this, not even bother to give his customer a call, sad one. I am one of the customer of Vodafone from the "Hutch" days, i have been with Vodafone since 2003 (almost 10 years). Vodafone - your trusted/reputed dealer spoiled everything in no time and now you are going to loose one of your valued customer who supported/trusted you for a decade.

Good Bye! Hope it will not be repeated to any of your trusted customers any more, so that your valued customers will not be cheated by so called Vodafone Dealers

              Thanks,
              Kumar
              Hi Vodafone Custimer Care, ,

I have provided my number a week back and no calls from any one on this. Not sure, if Vodafone Customer Care has taken my concern serious.

              Thanks,
              KUMAR
It's been almost a month and no action has been taken so far, counting my days, let me see when vodafone customer care has a patience to hear their customer concern.

              Thanks,

I have been using CLIR facility since almost 3 yrs and above....Now we have received that you need NOC from SP or above rank to continue the same services.

We have never ever in life gone to the local police station , its but obvious that these high ranked people would be not knowing us personally.

Now how is it possible for some one who doesn't know us would sign on a piece of paper stating that i Know the person 'XYZ' personally.?? The Police officers are 100% correct at their place as to why would some one write and sign for a un-known person.

If you ask to sign it from a local police station then its acceptable that these people would be knowing us as we stay there, but the High Ranked Officers stay at the District Head quarters...and its but obvious that they will no be knowing us if we haven't been in touch with them at any point of time in life.

But our issue is that, if they are not knowing us personally... cant we utilize the CLIR services

Plz do something genuine to get over this problem.

Vodafone seems to have the intent of fooling money from customers in it's GPRS service. First of all, it gives a very ambiguous prompt to mislead consumers into auto-renewal of it's GPRS service. I have been a victim of that. And now that I want to deactivate it, they sent me a text saying "Fro deactivatin auto-renewal please dial *121*0*98, which when I dial, I get the response "You may not make calls to the dialed number".

Very bad ethics, I'm sure millions like me are a victim of their practices but are helpless.

I am a user of Vodafone number [protected]. Yesterday I bought a GPRS activation pack & requested Vodafone Customer Care to send me the GPRS Settings for my NOKIA N-72. Their one Mr. Surya asked me to send SMS "VMC" to 52586, & within half hour I would receive the GPRS setting. I did exactly I was told but to my astonishment I received a reply SMS from GPRSsetting that "Settings received but not saved Unable to authenticate meesage. Message deleted." I do not know what to do & despite my regular attempts to recontact Customer Support I am not getting through as they keep the line on hold & finally disconnect. Such Pathetic Service Support & calous atitude was never expected of a multinational like Vodafone.

I purchased a vodafone 3G data card(model - K3770) a month back and paid 3 montsh of advanced rent- 1950/- for this. Device worked fine for 12-13 days and problem started. Every 3-4 minutes it gets disconnected automatically and you need to rec-connect. Due to this the work gets lost if you are in mid of something.

I registered a complaint with vodafone (complain no- [protected]) and got 7 days of time for them to get back to me. This 7 days converted into 22 days approx and still no solution for this. I mailed too but there is no satisfactory response from their side. The only reply I get is wait for 7 more days. Vodafone is sucking people's hard earned money.

                          Sir,

I would like to raise a complaint against my request for porting out of Vodafone network. My name is Arjun K and my Vodafone mobile number is [protected]. I am intending to port of from Vodafone and port into Airtel. The reason being, my organization has a corporate plan for Airtel and all my colleagues are using Airtel. It would be much cheaper for me to use Airtel. For this reason, I placed a port out request in the month of Feb, sometime around Feb first week. I waited for almost a month and went to Airtel local branch to check on status. They told me that the porting request was rejected by Vodafone. When I spoke to Vodafone about this, they told me that Airtel had not submitted my documents to Vodafone with in 48 hrs from generating the porting code. I realized that I had submitted the documents to Airtel on a Saturday and Sunday being a holiday it might have been possible that the 48 hr window could have been missed.

Hence, I submitted a second port out request to Airtel on 5th March (Tuesday) by submitting my documents and requested them to process the request within 48 hrs. They confirmed that they would be processing the request on the same day and my Vodafone number would get deactivated within 7 working days. Its been 8 working days as of today and my Vodafone number is still active.

I spoke to Vodafone customer care again and all they have to say is, once the porting code is generated, the responsibility of Vodafone is complete. I quite don’t understand how is it possible for a new service provider to take over the number without Vodafone authorizing the action by any sort. I spoke to the Customer care supervisor (Nirmala) and she also says the same thing and asks me to contact Airtel.

As I understand, I am a new customer to Airtel and they would be happy to welcome a new customer. I don’t see why would they stop me from moving into their network. I realize the problem lies with Vodafone and the process of porting out is being withheld at some level to retain me as a customer. Each time I send a text to 1900, I get a call from Vodafone personnel and they try to retain me. I have clearly told them I intend to move out and would not like to remain in Vodafone network.

I have been running pillar to post to get my number ported out, but I am unable to get a proper resolution. I request you to kindly take suitable action.

                          Regards
                          Arjun

Did one big mistake of getting my prepaid converted to postpaid(Vodafone). Vodafone hires under-qualified personnels who are not able to handle simplest of things which in turn is creating a big problems for genuine customers! Its over 1 month now and I have not been able to make a call from my number as address verification was marked failed even after a executive visit to my place. I have wasted more than 3-4 hours at the vodafone outlet and got false promises that the problem will get resolved asap(17 days back). And the worst part is that I am getting calls for making payments for the service that never got activated on my cell!

I am very frustrated with this behavior and have already applied for a different number from a good service provider. Do something before you lose a lot of your customers like this.

                            Customer Care,

This is to inform you that my mother is a vodafone postpaid user, therefore against it i got a call from Mr Harish from the faridabad centre saying that they have an offer of another postpaid connection which will start within 24 hrs, i paid 250rs and submitted all documents required on 9th june and thought it will get registered by the next day...but to my horror i came to know after calling at call centre that the documents were deposited on 11th !!!

anyways i was told that within 72 hrs it will be activated, but as expected very tricky statements were made by Ali & Madhuri (custer care executive), the customer care is so pathetic that they don't even attend calls properly, about 5 times they had disconnected my calls without providing full information, and every time i ask for the status ...im being asked to wait for another 72 hrs!!!

i had a very bad experience with HUTCH and therefore i was very skeptical about taking vodafone but for the name sake and that Vodafone is an international brand i trusted it, but i guess that vodafone is even worse.

I dont expect you to take action on this mail as I know you hardly care, but if you have some dignity left, kindly let me know.

I am not at all happy with the service provided to me from vodafone. i recently changed my plan and theses guys have changed some settings in my account by which i cannot get the itemized bill to my home address. when i spoke to the representative at the vodafone store they refused to acknowledge my complaint and they said that they cannot do anything as the data in the system reflects something else however the details were changed from their side. i have visited the store several times but no one seems to help me. also the vodafone customer care agents speak rudely and always keep on saying that they don't have any information regarding whatever i ask them. i don't know if its the help desk or a helpless desk but i am not really satisfied with the service they provide it to me. i have been sending them emails day in and day out but they just dont seem to help me. hence i thought of sending an email to you guys so that i could get some help.

Today I really had a pathetic experience with Vodafone
I tried making call from my World calling card but I am unable to do so as it says..I can't make call to this number...though I was using the correct procedure(I registered for pinless dial and tried dialing number prefixing 5021800*******)After trying so many times I called up Vodafone customer care at 111..A CCR named Rajni and she informed that I am following the wrong procedure and instead of 50218 I should prefix 50318,I tried using the procedure which she informed me but was unable to make call again,Like Rajni I spoke to so many CCR's in between but I do not remember their names. After calling up a brand named VODAFONE so many times but unable no one was able to resolve the issue I wanted to speak to the senior,I called up Vodafone customer care 16 times and spoke to Gulshan,Vicky,Deepak(Twice),Raj and Ali..They all were not able to transfer my call to their seniors

At last my call was transfered to a so called senior named he advised me to visit a Vodafone store as the do not have the URL which is used for World calling card and dissconnected the call..

When I called for the 17th time the call was connected to Rashmi and I told her that I want to speak to her senior so please transfer my call, she informed me that as of now there is no senior available on the floor,I told her that few minutes back only I spoke to her senior and the call got dissconnected she said let me check if someone is available, she put me on hold and the hold time was 8 minutes 21 seconds and the call got dissconnected as usual....

Please advise what exactly Vodafone customer care stands for??
DO YOU REALLY VALUE YOUR CUSTOMERS????
                            Hi,

My name is Aditya Sharma. I am the son of a retired Col in the Indian army. I have a Vodafone connection --number [protected]. My connection is 7 to 8 years old and i have never defaulted on the services. I was asked by a Tele-caller to submit some necessary documents required by the government and i readily agreed despite the fact that my connection is almost a decade old. Vodafone has till date the 27-th May not yet sent any person to my house and have disconnected my outgoing, disconnected my caller ID which is like an insult to me. Since the 1st week of May their customer service keeps on telling me that some executive will come to my house but he never turns up. My father who is 60+ years of age had to go to the CP office to submit the necessary documents as i was out of town. He went to the CP office IN Delhi and was told on the 25th that there is no point in showing the documents there at CP and that someone will visit our house in Gurgaon within 72 house...no one has visited.......srh[protected][protected]complaint number

I FEEL CHEATED, ROBBED BY THE GOVT AND VODAFONE, INSULTED AND BRUISED....AM I A TERRORIST THAT THIS IS WHAT HAS BEEN DONE TO ME? AM I AT FAULT IF I PAID MY BILLS ON TIME EVERTIME FOR THE PAST 7 YEARS? IS THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA TRYING TO SHOW ITS POWER TO ME? WILL THEY PAY FOR INCREASING MY BLOOD PRESSURE?
                            Vodafone Services Sucks,
I have been their customer for past 10 years plus, recently I am facing network problems
(No Network) at my place, I complained to them they said it will take seven days to set it
right, after seven days again the same answer of seven days.
Got fed up as the phone was useless without a network. Hence wanted to deactivate the
account now they are giving all the excuses for deactivating. Will have to take legal action
                            on them.
                            Hi

I am working in ITPL Tec Park B'lore.

The service provided by the vodafone staff in ITPL campus office is not acceptable. They dont seem intrested in solving customer query.

I had a very bad experience in the store when I went to submit my documents according to the new law. After submitting the documents I had got 2-3 calls and e-mails saying that I have not submitted the required documents.

I cannot go to the store everyday to resubmit the same.

                            Bad experience

vodafone customer service is really pathetc including their executives. pls do not get tempted by their false romises and offers.
I have a vodafone prepaid number (Orissa circle)
I received an sms today from vodafone saying
                            "Caller Tune has been activated"
And charges were deducted from my balance ...
Customer care said that i had activated the service by calling some number and listening to songs and then selecting one....
I told them that i didnt do anything of this sort...
When i wanted to lodge a complaint against this, the customer care representative asked me to talk to his supervisor and placed my call on hold... after a few seconds my call was cut...
this happened 3 times with the customer care...
                            Hi,

Vodafone , the pathetic service providers !!!They block your incoming and outgoing numbers. Everytime someone calls you , you see 'Unknown calling'

Few months back, this happened and they asked us to submit documents for proof to activate. We submitted and it was activated(they did this without any intimation!!)

Now again, we get the same problem, they misplaced the documents and are asking us to resubmit,.

When we went to Vodafone office in WhiteField Bangalore, manger Daljeet (please get him customer service training!!) spoke soo rude . He asked us to re-submit the documents or do whatever we want and is openly saying we lost them.

Asif /Nicolas - representatives there were of no help.

Where do we go? Who will help us from these cheap fellows???

                            Guys,

If you are facing the same problem, lets make it legal, we cannot pay deaf ear for every problem

                            Regards
                            My number: [protected]

As a 10 year old customer with Vodafone (est Essar Cellphone), I hate to pen this down, but the services have just gone from bad to worse withthis company. I feel harrased as a customer despite having a clean payment record. The saga begins from July 10. I had been asked to submit the documents somewhere in July, which I did, assuming that the person who collected the documents from me would make the necessary updates. Few months later I start gettinig a message on my phone, each time I have to place a call, it usually played for 30 seconds and then the phone would go through. I called and got this deactivated requesting that the person comes and collect the documents from me once again. This never happened.

Today, my services have been worst than barred. I call a number, it starts going through and the call timer starts. To my surprise what plays on my phone is not the ringing bell of the other number but a message from Vodafone that the documents should be submitted. after this message completes, it keeps saying that please wait one of our representatives will get in touch. I heard this message for 7-10 minutes with the hope thst someone would come on the call. No one eventually did. Tired I called them up only to get through an uneducated representative, all who could say is" mujhe aapki madat karne me khushi hogi". I narratted the complete problem only to hear that "main aapki kya sahayta kar sakta hoon??" Irritating!!!

I then asked for a supervisor, only to hear that there is no one who can come speak to me. I was told he's busy and there is no one else. I will have to call later. Which means "I as a customer should keep facing the inconvenience and there is no one in the call center who can help, GREAT SERVICE!!"

I was committed that within 4 hours from 3:00 PM IST the message will be deactivated, however my outgoiong was activated (GOD KNOWS WHY NO ONE COULD UNDERSTAND MY ISSUE). Thats the maximum time, but the service generally gets activated within 15-20 minutes. 2 hours passed, nothing happened. I called again, finally to talk to a reasonable person who said my services were barred and will immediately be activated. Its almost two hours again, NO GOOD.

Here I am with 25 minutes left for the 4 hours, still waiting for the service to start. PATHETIC SERVICE!!

The TRAI has given the operators right to harrass the customers. Is there a body who checks for their level of service? Waiting for the number portability to start in Delhi.

Sadly Vodafone will loose not just one but the connections for my entire family (5).

                            CAN SOMEONE REALLY HELP???????????????????
                            Still Unresolved.
I tried calling Vodafone today at least 10 times. Got through the difficult IVR twice, could not get any help so far.

I was kept on hold for 17 Mins in my last call at 1.12pm on 15 June 2011. This is not acceptable.

I’ve paid my bill and still receiving pre- recorded message before my call is getting connected. PLEASE REMOVE THIS ASAP else I’ll switch over to a new carrier. RESPOND!!!

                            [protected] mobile no
I am reproducing what i have written to Vodafone customer service / nodal officer and appellate authority.

                            Dears,

With deep pain I am forced to write this mail.

I guess inspite of me using 2 vodafone nos (of which 1 I am using for past 10 years +) still vodafone doesn’t consider me as a loyal customer. By the way if your office is not aware your loyal customers nos are[protected]for past 10 years+) and[protected]past 6 months +). Month after Month closer to the due date I keep getting reminder calls for payment. Either there is something wrong with Vodafone policies or I need to change my service providers.

If this was not enough, for some strange reason my usage for my no.[protected] from 1st June 2011 till date is reading as 3776/- which I have never received in past several months. Nor is it that this month my usage has been high because of which I see unused bill amount as 3776/-. I had called on Sunday 12th June & registered my unused billing complaint for which I have even received an sms stating “Hello! Your service registration number is [protected]. We shall respond to your query by Monday 13-Jun-11 06.00pm”. I am yet to receive a call to get a clarification on my unused billing. I am yet wondering which calendar does Vodafone follow!!!

I am writing this mail to keep on record my “WRITTEN” communication so that tomorrow your company cannot shelve your responsibility.

Vodafone company has started STINKING big time and guess time has come to do lot of soul-searching & internal changes to give the customer a reason to SMILE.

I'm using vodafone service for last 3 months .Last month i was requested for plan change from 199 voice plan to 449 voice plan also i requested plan change for my data plan from 199 (4GB) to 98 (1 GB) data plan and the same was activated..

suddenly my 98 data plan was disconnected on 23-Mar'12 without my information and from 24-Mar'12 onwards 199 data plan was activated( i haven't given any information to activate this plan) and again 26-Mar'12 the same got deactivated.

Due to this error i was charged for my internet usage for Rs 493 + Tax which is not acceptable also without my confirmation how my credit limit can be increased.
                            Dear recipient,

I am Avinash kumar holding a Vodafone number [protected] Yesterday (11/06/2012) wiThout any intimation They changed my plan to data card That's why i suffered entire day and still suffering as i was neiTher able to receive nor able to make a phone call. Is This The service vodafone provides to a customer, who does not even delay bill payment for single day. I walked in at vodafone store today and asked Them clarification on why have you activated data card plan wiThout letting me know, vodafone executives was saying i made a request on 19Th of May, first of all i did not make any such crap request even Their customer care executive told me its Their own fault and if i did so Then how come you change my plan from today as today is neither my billing cycle date nor i made request yesterday or day before.Being a mobile user how can i ask to stop my all services like incoming and outgoing calls and activate only data plan ridiculous.

I suffered 2 days wiThout incoming and outgoing call facility and still suffering. I want a compensation for The loss i incurred due to This paThetic service.

For the past week, I have not been able to phone abroad or text abroad via my Vodafone (prepaid connection). I registered a complaint, and my complaint number is 2331. I was told action would only be taken 8 days after my complaint, at the earliest. That is more than a week for a simple complaint, when I need ISD all the time!
Subsequently I tried using my two other Vodafone connections to call or text, using two different instruments and even from those numbers I cannot connect abroad at all.
Is there a general problem at Vodafone? Should I change all my phones to some other company's connection if Vodafone has decided not to provide ISD services?

My name is Vinay, I have been using Vodafone connections since 7yrs and paying my bills promptly. In my Feb-13 bill it was showing 5gb internet plan which i never requested. i was charged 299extra for that. when requested for waived i was told that it is not possible as i have consumed the data. when asked how much was the consumption i was told its only 500mb.I have an existing internet plan of 2GB. Hence requested for rectify the mistake. Then finally i was told that they will forward it to the concerned team for reversal. every time i call i get the same response that reversal is not possible as i consumed the data plan and later they say that they will fwd the complaint to their supervisor. i called around 5times regarding my complaint but no use. Last time when i wanted to talk to the supervisor i was put on hold fr 20min i had to hang up later..agent name was Raghu. when called back i was told that sup is busy will call back but didnt get any call. supervisor name is mohammed noor. From 25th i have been following up with vodafone customer care for wrongly charging me 299 but no result.Hence writing you to explain my plight and about vodafones pathetic customer service. Hope i dont have to escalate it any further.

                                    Hi,

I have a vodafone number [protected].
                                    post paid connection.

few days back ,i recieved a message from vodafone that some TV service has been activated and also 150 rupees has been deducted.

In this current month bill, , money has been deducted. when i call the customer centre , they are not responding properly.
I even sent a mail to corp care but they are not doing anything.
Please note that i am not a novice in using a smart phone and i myself am a software engineer,
And in postpaid every service which neesds to be activated needs a mail so that they can kep track of this
Even for activating sms pack, i need to follow so many times and for this useless service , they are activating from their end.
150 is not a small amount.they should have called to confirm .
How one can use a post paid if they are doing something.
so i will not foolishly activate some service and maintain i did not do that.
                                    Please get me justice.

                                    To Whomsoever it may Concern:

I am Kruti Thakkar, user of the vodafone no. [protected] am very unhaapy with the vodafone services. This no is registered in the name of Vrajesh Thakkar - DOB - 10/08/1985; email id - [protected]@ hotmail.com. I had put a request to transfer my no. to prepaid but the vodafone store at Santacruz adviced me to tranfer my tarrif to a zero rental plan. As agreed by me i completed all the documentation from my end (confirmed by the store managers at Santacruz) and flew out of country for 2 months. on returning i came to know that my request has not been processed and i have been charged a 2 month rental without any of my faults. I took this problem to vodafone store at santacruz but nobody paid heeds to me. Do you think i would pay for your mistakes. I WANT TO DISCONTINUE MY NO. i am not going to pay if its not my fault.

This is a very sad state of the company to cheat their clients in such a manner.

                                    Very upsetting.

                                    Kruti

I Mr. Vivek D. Thakkar is a customer of Vodafone Gujarat since last 5to 6 years with cell number +91 [protected]. Because of one incident I have a complaint against my service provider. For my above cell number I had subscribed one 2G datapack Vodafone live 37 worth RS 37(include 7 days validity and 400MB data) on Feb-16-2012. By sending a sms to start the service I had received a confirmation message from Vodafone company and suggest that it will be renewed on 22nd Feb-2012 at 12:00 at night. So, on 22nd Feb-2012 when I want to de-activate the same I had sent one sms to cancel the pack at 10:58PM, For that sms company had replayed me that your pack is de-activated now at 11:05PM. On 22nd Feb-2012. But still company had renewed this offer once again and debited Rs.37 from my main account balance, and also not given me the benefit of 400MB free data surfing to my account. So, on one side they have wrongly renewed my offer and other side they have not given me any benefit against this offer.
Due to this problem I had many times contact with customer care officer and later on 23rd Feb-2012 at 10:30AM I had contact with nodal officer of Gujarat circle mr.Kirtiraj Gohil on their contact number +[protected], still I have not getting any satisfactory answer from the authority.
So, please give me proper answer and give me justice in this regard as early as possible. Your reply is awaited for any further procedure from my side.

                                    Thanking For Your Co-operation.

                                    Dear

I have been charged Rs 488 for Internet usage for 7 days.

I have no intimation regarding this as the Vodafone executive told me that you are having free package till 19th of June as I m using Nokia Lumia 800 for which Vodafone have collaboration for 4 months free internet.

After receiving the bill I called up twice to Vodafone and then also they told me that I have been wrongly charged and you will get credit for this, but after speaking to Mr. Rajeev the supervisor,he told me that you have to pay for this as this is our fault but you have to bear this.

I would like to tell you that I will not pay for this and will switch over to some other service provider.

Please look into this matter seriously.

                                    Thanks

                                        Dear Vodafone,

                                        1. First you sold me an unlimited data plan for Ipad numbered [protected] from Vodafone gallery of Kalyan city which I used and confirmed with your customer care on a daily basis that it is an unlimited plan because I feared that the day would come when you will send me a huge bill for this

                                        2. Then suddenly you block my data usage due to credit limit (Your CC explained even if its unlimited plan but the credit limit is only 10K they also asked me increase the credit limit and ensured that it is an unlimited plan 101% and the bill will come only Rs. 750/- as per plan). My heart sank when I heard this but my faith in your fair bill practice was so strong that I waited patiently to check the bill without increasing the credit limit though

                                        3. I mailed your customer care at vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com 5 times during this to confirm that it is an unlimited plan and reset my online account password but till date I have not got any replies (except an automated reply which 'assured' me a reply within 2 business days every time). I felt your customer care were very much occupied managing much more complex incidents than mine and as they already knew that mine is an unlimited plan so I would be happy (and quite) once I get the bill of only Rs. 750/- so I once again consoled myself and kept quite

                                        4. Then you send me bill of 12k. and that's when I lost it Vodafone!!!

Now it's my firm request to you, please check this on your part and rectify it at the earliest before I and millions of your (so called loyal) customer loose faith in your services and customer care.

I expect you will at-least now take this seriously and will reply to me via phone/mail.

                                        Regards & Sahara Pranam,

I had ported the number from reliance to vodafone and at the time of porting i had submitted the id proof and photo. After 7-10 days my number had blocked without any information and after asking by me at the customer care what had happened ?. they told me that u have not submitted the id proof the you have to submit the id proof at customer care center. I submitted there the id proof but they have not activated the number and told me it will start after 4 days. I had suffered from this process by submitting the id proof again n still it is not working.
