Hi,
My phone number[protected] was charged 2800 rupees for internet usage. The story goes as follows:
- I bought Vodafone connection and requested the minimum 2g plan to be activated which was for 199/-
- The guy says he will do it and to use it after 24 hours
- I did that and Vodafone activated 3g for me without notifying me, which switched off the 2g plan
- I used 3g, honestly I did!
- They deactivated 3g without notifying me.
- They put me on to the DEFAULT plan which charges me per KB.
- I get a huge bill and that exceeds my credit limit and my phone is disconnected.
- I go and speak to manager Dinesh at Sakivihar Vodafone store and he registers a complaint saying he cannot do anything.
- Durgesh Chaudhary from the complaint department calls me after 6 days saying he will get it reversed by speaking to manager Deepika at Vodafone Byculla Store. He said he will mail her and get the reversal of 2000/- processed (as I had already paid the 800 then) and paid 200 today.
- Two calls from the Vodafone billing department asking me to pay the bill, I informed them as well about the issue and they said they will look into it, still looking!
Its been 3 weeks and nothing has happened about it. WHOLE LOT OF FALSE PROMISES. I have spoken to Deepika the manager at Byculla and she promised me a reversal a week back. I have reminded them every day and they did nothing at all. After having 5 connections in the family, this is all I get.
This email is sent with high hopes as I (or anyone for that matter) would never like to pay 2000 Rupees for something that was not my fault, not my request not my intentional usage!

Vodafone / New connection plan — misleading, wrong implementation of plan
HiI have a very serious kind of problem with these Vodafone executives
My mobile number is [protected], I got this number from Vodafone store, Ansal Plaza, Hudco place, near Andrews ganj.
My customer agreement form no. is – 80137755
I bought this number on 23rd of June 08. At the time when they sold me this number
They told me that your number is [protected] which is written in customer agreement form also, but actual number I got is [protected]. Then they told me that your monthly rental will be Rs 49 only plus you have to pay Rs1000 advance( So, I paid them advance Rs1000 on 23rd of June 08). Now 2 days back Vodafone customer care executive called me up and told me that my monthly rental is Rs 298. One more thing they told me at the time of purchase that I will got a watch, parker pen and a CD free, when there executive will come to my home for verification, but no executive came to my home neither for giving free gifts nor for verification.(Imagine I got a post paid number without any verification).
So, on the sight of above mentioned problems, why I should pay monthly rental of Rs 298 instead of Rs 49 only and above all else why they are misguiding the customers and implementing wrong plans.
