i don't know whether this post will be read by anyone or not......but i am writing just by believing on e world...most of the people says VODAFONE customer care is pretty esteem but today i called VODAFONE customer care service in between 12 to 1 at NIGHT.... the executive of VODAFONE (BPO) BUSINESS PROCESS OUT-CASTING answered me swiftly NO DOUBT but he gave me WRONG INFORMATION regarding my doubts...and just believing on the myth of good customer service of VODAFONE i called VODAFONE again and then the CUSTOMER EXECUTIVE told me that the previous individuality hadn't registered your number on the records...
this is it by me side.... rest is VODAFONE yours if the employees really want to push VODAFONE up then they should worry..... there are lots of people like me who disconnected their number just due to this "customer care cheating" ...... :(
BECAUSE they don't know THIS E WORLD i think.....

Vodafone India — Wrong information given by customer care

My name is Rinku jain...i am a hutch(now vodafone) customer from 6 october 2005.My number is [protected]..I bought a 2 year advance rental postpaid number from hutch according to which they will not charge monthly rent of 150 for next two years..i renewd my plan for 1 year in august 2007 hutch people called me that its necessary but the plan had 2 months left..i gave the application and my plan got advance rent paid for another 1 year but this year when i called customer care to renew my plan first they said it is expired but when i called again they said 1 month is still left...i talked to "Jainender Singh" conversation serial number "[protected]"..he said i can apply before 20 sept 2008 co. wont charge any rent but in my 21 sept 2008 bill RS-150 are charged as monthly rental...i want either he should be punished or i get bill discounted...
It's been 3 years, I've submitted all of my assignments but IGNOU hasn't update my numbers.

Today I had a very worst and rigorousness response from customer care,
Enquire was about…
I had recharged for Rs. 499 for my prepaid number to activate plan unlimited outgoing on 20th March where in the validity for that offer ends on 19th march. But a call from customer care executive conveyed that to recharge on Saturday that is today April 17, 2010 to avail and continue this offer and so as I did but after the recharge I was deducted for the outgoing calls. About this miss guiding for the recharge though I have a sufficient time of validity to the offer and for the reason to deduct I want to log the complaint to the customer care but I got a very coarse response from customer care executive
Mr. Pavan he in fact gave his Employee code No 533044 and said me whatever u want you can do go to consumer court or report to the higher authority I am least bothered and I am not going to take your complaint nor register and give the complaint number for the same and not only this I had previously spoken to Mr. Nagraj and Abhijith they made me to wait for almost 30 min and disconnected the call without connecting me to TL for which I had been asked to hold the line.

This is what the response I get if I call to customer care. Is this the sought of response given by a one of the world’s best network service provider Vodafone.

So now I can clearly say that I have been deceit,
1. Asking me to recharge early though I have validity three days more to go end.
2. After recharge to continue the offer but still I have been charged for outgoing.

With expecting the supportive response and result
1. Related to offer validity increasing,
2. Reversal of charges charged and action to be taken from the senior support functionaries.
I have written this mail awaiting for response before I take the further action ahead.

Vodafone India — Regarding Wrong Information given by Vodafone Executive

Hi ,


Its really bad to say that the customer service provided by Vodafone is hell. Its from 19 May I am facing problem with
Internet connection problem on my iphone-4 and till now nobody was able to solve the issue.

First I spoken to Anoop and he said it will be activated and u will only cut 10paise/per 10 kb download.

Then I came to know its will be charged monthly rental of Rs100 after activation,

Then I again call to Customer care and Sahil was not able to resolve my query and database was not updated and disconnects the line


Then I again call after 10 minutes and some MR.Sandeep Kumar said that your balance is negative and make it positive and within 6 hours it will get activated and also with this plan I will get 2 GB download Free but nothing happen

Then today(20 may) I again call customer care and some Purnima in technical staff said that you have to restart your phone but after doing that nothing happen

Then again I call and some Neeraj said that then will send some settings for iphone within 30 minutes but nothing happen and he also said that there is no scheme of 2 GB as mentioned by Sandeep.Its really horrible nobody knows the details.

Then again I call customer care and tell the problem I am facing ,then the customer care representative said that becoz of negative balance its temporarily got locked and it will be activated within 4 hours .When i asked for his name and complaint number he put my call on hold and after sometime it got disconnected.

Till now nothing is resolved

Due to Customer Care wrong information I am getting Rs.1700/- for browsing charges...

June 8/9 I spoke to customer care and asking regarding that, I can able to browse in my mobile, the customer care told there is no option enabled, if you want we activate browsing for that it will take 2 days... then I said dont activate browsing without my confirmation... Then after two days I checked the bill, it says Rs.1700/-

So Total this month bill 2100...something

Today (June 22) I spoke to customer care at 4.10 pm to "ALEX" and asked to update my queries, then he dont take my request.

Please check the Voice Recorder which I have spoken to customer care on June 8/9 and also Today 22nd at 4:10 pm and take proper action

Due to your careless support I wont pay the bill for this month, I will pay only which is my outgoing calls and sms & Not for browsing

I need waiver for browsing charges..

I am having 3 connections and I am more than 5 years old customer for you...

Now I am not satisfy with your customer support because of your wrong information...

I want to investigate for my current bill by Tommorw and also I need a call back from your side.

      I recharged for 500INR the night i landed Tamil Nadu from US as i use the same no. whenever i come to India. The next day morning when i called my friend, it says i don't have balance. When i called the customer care, they said it was used for your internet (as the cellular net was on) and now you have to recharge to make a call. I cursed & recharged for 200. Within 2 calls, again the same story. I called the customer care, which again some who speak in a recordical way that there is no balance in my main account. How can they rob money like this?

      Can anyone claify what is this Vodafone's Primary & Secondary account? Why they want to make others life miserable?

      Please help to solve this issue.

      Vodafone — phone recharge

      As i have informed you on dated 23feb,2012 that on 22feb,2012 i tried to recharge my phone through paytm.com in morning but recharge didn"t complete. And without recharge Rs.50 have been debited from my account. Then in evening i recharged My phone by ratailer. After the complaint of 23Feb to you next day i recived a call from VODAFONE service agent he adviced me that if you didn"t recharge your phone through paytm then this amount will be credited in your account within 5 days. But today ten days passed but not any action has been taken. I also tried to customer helpline no 111 there i talked to mr Neeraj he adviced me that you will have to complaint on helpline no 198 when i tried 198 there Mr. pankaj said to me that for this you will have to dial 111 . Thus not any satisfactionary answer has been given. So you are requested to do something once again.

        Iam Mahesh Kumar, I got a Message from Vodafone as
        "Offer Only For U, Enjoy Unlimited Free song Downloads for your Caller Tune With Rs.30 Rental per Month. Dial 123333 to Activate . Hurry Limited Period".
        This message i got Twice in two days. So by maintaing Min. Balance of 30rs i activated that caller tune. but they charged song rental Rs. 15 also. and Rs.30 for monthly charges. when i call customercare people, they are not responding correctly. this happened twice to me. kindly solve my problem.

        Dear Sir,

        I charged my account (mobile no.[protected]) of Rs.50 on 16-09-09 at 1.30 pm. I made a local call for 6 min at 7.00 Pm & what I found its 9.97 paisa left in my account .I inquiry Costumer Care but he did not gave satisfaction answer. According to him some LOVECOMBO service is activate which I never requested and to lodge a complain but in spite of solving the problem he cut the phone. Again I dialed Mr. Pradip Das- Supervisor (as he Mention) said your money cannot be return. He argue with me for long time but neither agreed to lodge a complain nor return money to my account. He spoke me such a way which gave me moral harassment and I was depressed

        Hence I want to get a clarification & want my money back. I want a result in 7 days otherwise I am going to lodge a complain in consumer court against your company.

        Vodafone — Customer Care Employees Not Responding Correctly

        Hi,

        Automatically caller tune was activated to my mobile, when i requested Vodafone customer care, Raj Shekar C. answered the call and told me within 24 hrs the amount would be refunded and Caller tune will be deactivated, now its fourth day still i hear the caller tune and i dint get any amount to my account. when i call the customer care they are answering the call and when i ask them the question just without any answer they are hanging the phone, what kind of service is this?

          Hi Team,

          This is the second time I am facing this problem on my phone and Vodafone customer care is unable to help me. Vodafone recently changed their value added recharge prices, the specific one that I am referring to is 30paise per minute plan. Earlier this was charged Rs 24 and valid for 30 days, however they changed the same to Rs 24 valid for 15 days and Rs 34 valid for 30 days.

          My problem is that if I recharge Rs 34 twice on the same phone same day Vodafone only gives me 30paise per minute plan for 30 days and does not provide any credit or balance for the second recharge. In a way the company has cheated many customers and pocketed Rs 34 or Rs 24 in the name of human error.

          Its not about Rs 34, collecting this amount illegally is not correct and hence would like you guys to look into the matter. These MNC's would never appreciate if we mistakenly pocket even single paise from their system; reflected in their attitude when we try to switch phone providers using number portability, you cannot do so unless all arrears are paid in full. However if we are at fault Vodafone turns a def hear.

          Vodafone — For their mistakes we will be the targets

          Hello Sir/Madam,

          I am using Vodafone prepaid connection since 2006 DEC, Now I am facing a problem with it.
          Yesterday, i.e, 5th Aug 2009 an amount of 150RS has been deducted from my account due to some technical problem and till now it has not been solved, no proper response from the service provider.
          I cant do outgoing calls from yesterday, now my balance is -134/- which was +15/-
          For me its okay, whereas if some common man get affected by this what he needs to do???
          They are telling it will be resolved by 7th Aug 2009 at 6PM, So for 2 days there will be no outgoing calls.
          This kind of poor service they are providing, this shows their negligence that too for their mistake.
          Please take some proper action against this.

            Vodafone - luring and looting

            The operators at vodafone in chennai call and lure customers with offers in post-paid. If continued says a big load of booty is available for a peanut price and should convert from present pre-paid to post-paid.

            If agreed then another person speaks, she says a slight increase in cost along with a reduction in facilities as said by the first person. This round goes on for several times under several persons more than an hour only to find to your horror that the current cost of post-paid has escalated by several hundreds from the first mentioned price.

            That is for example in plan-rs.249/-[super combo-low] the final cost may go above rs.600/- in any way under free usage alone.

            It is because there a host o[censored]nsaid/hidden costs not revealed anywhere by anybody including website, c-care janitors and store - keepers... It will be shockingly revealed only at the time of first-bill when by the time you are well chained and bound with this deceitful burden.

            Thus it is nothing but a plain - broad daylight robbery - and what else...?

            Myself is a victim having solid evidence and escaped entrapment at the last moment. Dt.25/01/13.

            Vodafone — Robbry: False information

            Dear Sir,
            I am a victom of vodafone. One and half month back, i was geeting calls from vodafone Care, and they told me about their POSTPAID plans. but i was not interested in that. but then their executive told me about a false plan( which was not existing). Then they collected my documents and money( Rs 250) from my address and told me that the plan will be enabled on sim within 72 hours. After this, they again called me for varification, Iagain ask their executive about my plan, then the guy told me that there is no such plan. At the same time i refused to take the postpaid connection.And asked them to pay back my money, they told me i can withdraw it after 45 days.
            After this i recieved their calls so many times, but i refused to change my prepaid connection to postpaid. Then suddenly on 16 July 2008 (after one month and 7 days) they changed my connection to postpaid without intimating me. When i tried complaint on their customer they have not responded properly and even not providing any complaint number.
            This was a total monatry and mental harresment for me. I want to ask them, how can they change any number according to their conveneince.and who has given them this right to sell their connection by providing wrond information. I am working person, i do not have time go to their store.
            I request you to take some serious action against Vodafone. And ask them to provide me suitable componsation for all this harresment.

                I took a connection on which they activated a wrong plan and as a result send me huge bill. When I tried to resolve the issue but they were least bothered in resolving the issue but MOST INTERESTED IN recovery of money. So I decided to go for disconnection and paid the money according to my genuine usage (which I must have not paid if the intention was not to pay).

                BUT EVEN AFTER 2 MONTH OF DISCONNECTION THEY ARE HARRASING ME FOR PAYMENT OF BALANCE AMOUNT RATHER STARTED SENDING THEIR PERSON TO MY HOUSE FOR THE SAME.

                  TRAI had been hard on the mobile customers lately, and it had limited the number of SMS sending per day to 100 messages from any number on any network. The limit has now raised to a little better, with the number of SMS that can be sent per day being 200. Telecom Regulatory Authority of India has made these changes after the earlier rules were laid many days back, and users could send unlimited messages only on National festivals, and on that day, the SMS offers wouldn’t work.

                  still VODAFONE INDIA is giving 100 sms/day and then deducting 1re after it. The company is cheating its customers.

                              Vodafone / Telecom — Number deactivated Unnecessarily

                              I Had brought a New Postpaid Sim from a Sales Executive in my office and I was using a different number ( old ) and the people from the Ace communication called over the Phone and Harassed me to write a mail from my official ID for the Verification, as I was not using the NEW number, i did mail and the Verification Executive had visited my residence for the Verification and the Address was also verified and finally 2 days later after the Mail was sent the New number is Supeneded. I Called up the Customer Care of Vodafone and the person told me that due non usage and FALSE Address the Number is Suspended. Please help and request you to take action over the Agents.
                              Agency which server the corporates is Pathetic and usless.. Vodafone Please make sure something happens over this... Or else your Vodafone family will be in Soup swimming without Customers with such a kind of service.

                                  I’ve written this complaint in order to raise my concern for incorrect balance deductions and wrong details getting updated in your computers leading me to lose my balance and loyalty. As a customer of Vodafone, it is very insane to understand the situation of a morning when I wake up ,try to make a call and hear “Your balance is insufficient for this call”. And that too when I recharged my prepaid the very last night with 100 rupees along with 3G data pack. I check my balance again and I see that I have 1 paise in my account. I thank Vodafone for leaving that much in my account.



                                  That’s not the whole story. Now, I call Customer Care at 111 and tell them the whole scenario. I get various reasons for the same where nobody has any idea why the amount got deducted hence everybody tries their best to give me different explanations for why this could have happened. Could have ? The explanations which I got were: “Sir, you streamed videos this morning around 12 ‘O’ clock and that is not included in 3G.” And I notified the girl that I was asleep till 1 pm.



                                  Then somebody told me that your credit amount for Rs 18 has been deducted. I had to inform him that happened yesterday morning, even before I recharged my phone and while giving an account for Rs 18 ,what about the other 80 Rupees?



                                  Later a supervisor named ”Sahil” who was very generous told me that before getting 3G activated, I used my data pack so the deduction was made. He informed me that deduction was made even after 3G pack was activated because I didn’t refresh my account. I told him that I checked my emails for about 2 or 3 minutes and turned off the 3G again. If that is meant to deduct my balance, I can agree with 5 Rupees or a maximum of 10 but what about the other 90 Rupees?



                                  The worst happened when a customer care representative named Mohit told me that I have a Sony ST2 LI2 Handset. Where I notified him that I have an apple iphone. So, Mr. Mohit told me that either I have a sony handset or I had it in past or I am lying!! The point here is: how did a sony handset got mentioned in your database?



                                  Then a supervisor named “Indarjeet Singh” from Okhla started behaving in a rude manner and told me that no refund will be made. Till this point I never braught up any point regarding a refund that must be made. If I can afford a phone worth 35000 ,I don’t need to ask you to refund 100 bucks! I only wish to ask you why your computers are showing such information that doesn’t belong to me? And Second, it’s not Mr. Indarjeet Singh to decide whether a refund will be made or not until he learns how to deal, behave and talk to people.

                                  And Mr.Sahil also affirmed me that he’ll raise this concern from his end to the concerned team as from his part the information which he sees is correct for him and the usage that I did is correct for me. How the hell did your systems say that I didn't refresh my account or I have a sony handset or I streamed a video around 12 pm ? What is going on?



                                  So,now my concern is:

                                  1. 1. Why your systems are showing that I streamed a video in the morning, when I didn’t?

                                  2. 2. Why your servers are showing that I didn’t refresh my internet when I simply turned it off and turned it on ?

                                  3. 3. Why your systems show that I use a Sony Handset when I have never used one in my entire life?

                                  4. 4. And what about my 100 rupees that went down the drain?

                                  5. 5. What must be done in order to ensure such things don’t happen in future?

                                  6. 6. How can I trust you that this wont repeat in future ?

                                  You must be getting thousand mails a day and I promise you it’s not only you who gets this mail. I’m raising this to all the customer forums. And if I don’t get a solution I’m porting out. Thank you very much for nothing!!

                                    I activated 199 unlimited 2G plan for my Vodafone number [protected] on 20-jan-2013. Again on 31-jan-2013 i had to do an urgent video call so i thought o[censored]sing 3G for doing the same. I sent a message "ACT 3G" to 111. Then my 2G usage plan started to charge for data usage. There should be a confirmation message or proper response or a message stating the outcome of an improper transaction, there should be some kind of warning message that the current active data will be deactivated if moved to 3G. Simply cancelling the service without letting the customer know the reason(which is meaningless) is a fraudulent practice. I have not used my 2G data even for one day. Vodafone is really looting customers money in this way. They should provide us a way to get back to our 2G plan or they must ask our confirmation before cancelling the current 2G plan. Not all the customers will be aware of these things(Switching to 3G deactivates your 2G plan). What are the measures taken by vodafone in this concern??? I wanna switch back to my 2G plan.

                                    i am a subscriber of vodafone life-time prepaid.I had a balance of 200Rs.A service message came from vodafone and when i just clicked it Rs100 was reduced from my account.I then recharged my account for Rs201.In january,ad call have been started coming from vodafone,which usually comes 2-3times a day.
                                    I call came saying if you want to subscribe for cricket monthly pack and i just disconnected it . after some time a message came to me that cricket monthly pack has been activated on your phone and Rs50 was deduced from my account.
                                    I then called a customer care executive on how to deactivate it.Then i sent the necessary message and another message came to me that your request has been received on 29jan.
                                    again on 1feb today ,i received a message that cricket monthly pack has been activated on my account and rs50 was again deduced.
                                    I called a customer care executive about all this malpractices.
                                    he just said that someone in your house have sent a message and the mobile having me with all the time,how can someone does it.After some talk ,he just disconnected.

                                    a) [protected] and b)[protected]. both these sims were bought on a same id that is of my son karandeep singh, he deposited a copy of his driving license as a valid proof with the photograph to the dealer as per the req. Driving license was named after karandeep singh s/o kuldeep singh n was made under c/o s. Atam singh tehsildar faridkot. one of those sims was activated at that very moment no.[protected], while the other no. [protected] was not activated at that time...after few hours the second no. [protected] got disconnected due to some id proof problem. then i went to the main office of vodafone situated at mall raod in ludhiana, they asked me to deposit some id proof then i did the same as per their requirement, n simultaneosly in the evening my son went to the dealer from where he bought the sim. he deposited his copy of driving license with a photo again in jalandhar. after this episode the second no. [protected] was activated within a few hours.
                                    Now from some sources i came to know that a mobile no. [protected] has been issued by your company to some unknown person under the id proof of my son karandeep singh (karandeep singh s/o kuldeep singh c/o s. atam singh tehsildar faridkot). which is a very huge blunder of yours. so you are requested to deactivate the cell no.                                     yeah really these service providers are frauds, I recently (1 week back) changed from Aircel to Idea([protected]) as there is no Signal for Aircel, Idea service provider told me that they are giving 2sec / paise local or STD for MNP customers for 6 Months, but when I am calling to any mobile they are charging more than they told... this is totally fraud...there is no chance for me to change into other network for 3 months

                                    It is in the month of May, when I went to Kashmir. My mobile did not have internet . What happened was, I went and I exchanged the cell with my wife, as she had a prepaid connection and Kashmir doesnt support prepaid. After a few days I exchanged my mobile back. Now, the total money I should have paid is Rs. 600 ( on the higher side ) however, I paid 4500 Rs., just because the internet option on the other mobile was switched on.

                                    I want to ask Vodafone, that I had not given any authority to vodafone to charge my sim card for an internet usage which I never did. So, I want them to reduce that bill and give me my money back.

The MB usage suddenly increased and it said 0 % utilised and thereafter 100 % utilised. As soon as I saw it, I stopped and applied for a 2G 1 GB plan in which I had only utilised 200 MB. Now what happened, in the meanwhile, while I was downloading with 3G, I encountered a little extra usage and these people charged me 400 Rs for that.

                                        I get unsolicited sms and frequent missed calls on my mobile from a number [protected]. There is a girl using this number and sends messages at very odd timings. Also, she gives me missed calls every now and then, even at 3:00 AM. I would be very happy if some legal action can be taken against her.

                                        no [protected] par baar baar miss call aa raha hai or
                                        vapus call karne par koi jawab nahi deta kya aap is
                                        bare me kuch kar sakte hai ya muje iska name mil sakta hai...is number se muje ek din me
                                        30-40 baar miss call aa raha hai kya aap ise ban kar
