My complaint number is [protected].

've been wrongly charged by Vodafone for 3G data services that were activated without my consent.

After the expiry of an offer of a free 3G service for 2 months I was informed about the expiry one week late on purpose to fool me into believing that my free service pack was on and the 3G service was later deactivated only after 8 days for which, the charges I am not prepared to pay.

I have been a customer of Vodafone for 10+ years and this makes up for pathetic customer experience, besides being cheated into paying for services I was never informed or asked about.

    Dear Sir,
    It does not that my earlier message of complaint has gone through. To repeat in short I like to say that just 2 days ago I refilled my with Rs.100/- and had a deduction of Rs.22/- leaving a balance of Rs.78/- without using the mobile. Been receiving unwanted and unwarranted calls from the call centres and sms messages from the vodafone services which are not activated by me at all. A chrged battery runs down all to quickly with these regular services.
    Would you kindly look into this matter and allow the customer to enjoy the services to his discreet and not harassed with fleeced deductions o[censored]nwanted and unwarranted services.
    If your actions are swift in helping get rid of this menace,I will be grateful to be a help to you.

    I am using the vodafone number [protected] since last 3 yers. The time when i wanted to convert my number from post paid to pre paid, the people (both the customercare executives and people from vodafone stores of lajpat nagar and south extension) maid me cried. I have submitted my request from 25th of July 2010 and today is 3rd Aug 2010 and after submitting every documents and clearing the outstanding amount the number has not been activated. They used to change their statements and its been 30times i used to call them and got different answers each time from each of the customer care executives. Many a times they put my call on hold and disconnected the calls. I have missed many important calls and also the things i have ordered throug courior. Its just a mental torture and harrasment.
    Happy with the Vodafone Services
    I am really very irritated and unsatisfied with the service and customer care of vodafone.Here i am explaining you my problem i called to vodafone care on 4 th of march regarding 3G data plan and your executive told me that it can be activate on my next billing cycle which is on 24 of March i said ok but tht girl didn't informed me that she is going to deactivate my 2G service and suddenly on 18 of march my services got deactivated.
    This is the customer care fault she didn't informed me complete.Now my bill amount is around INR 7000..

    i already visited Vodafone store which is located in Punjabi Bagh so many of times but they do nothing and says under process our backend team will listen the call and then decide but when????

    It is not the question of whether I can pay the bill or not, it is the matter of ethics and how you handle your customers.
    I feel cheated and mis communicated.

    Please help

      sir,
      i got a blackberry phone and this is first time ever i use it. so i called vodafone customer care for assistance. they misguide me that plan of rs. 399/month will make you download unlimited and no cost will be charged on internet except video streaming and vodafone live.i said okay and got the plan.
      now i am upgrading my BBM and it charged from my main balanced. and i again called your customer care.they are very rude. they ask for wait wait wait every time. after aprox. 15 minutes they transfer my call to supervisor. and he said i can not give your money back. if you misguide us and don't help us, then where will we go.?
      its a request if you understand my problem. and help me out. its not about money i've lost. but make sure that this will never happen again and never misguide any customer .

      Vodafone — Deducting the balance without requesting for service

      I am a prepaid customer, I got a msg informing that;"Your request for subscribing bonus card of Rs.19 will be processed within 24 hours."

      I do not know what is bonus card and i never requested for it. In my balance, they have deducted Rs.19. They cannot do this to the customer.

      Vodafone Customer Care never responding even after holding for 28 mins. What should I do if this continues.

      prepaid card of vodafone — excess billing

      I had one year validity prepaid hutch card which I had renewed on 1-5-2008 . As per the plan local calls to any mobile it should be 0-50ps and std Rs.1.50 per minute. But when I called today and spoke 3 minutes 36 seconds., they have debited Rs.10-40. Till date I was being charged @ Rs.1.50 per minute of std. When I contacted customer care of vodafone they told me that as per my plan they have charged Rs.2-60 per minute. I am not able understand their logic of suddenly changing the tariff. This is nothing but unfair trade practice

      Vodafone — Not getting the required information for balance deduction

      My mobile number is [protected]. Actually the problem is that the balance gets arbitrarily deducted from this number from time to time.This is a prepaid number. I don't get any details about the amount deducted in my call register.Not even any service is activated for which amount might be deducted.when i contacted in vodafone office for the problem they told me that i have made calls for those deducted amount but they deny to tell me the numbers on which these calls are made when asked.Please tell me what should i do in this case.

      There was a balancce deduction of Rs 50 for some budget alert msg on 21st feb 2009. first that service is not activated from our end. Second no cusomer care of vodafone store is able to tell that by which mode the service got activated each one is tring to give Talla kind of thing.

      Vodafone — Internet USB and Mobile Card

      We brought a Internet USB Device for the Office work but after 15 days the vodafone usb not working proparly at overall in Gandhinagar City.
      we contect the person who deal with us says that there is a network problems.
      We have brount a 3 connection at a single cheque with Amount of Rs. 17990/-
      at present the rupees we are sent is not using with this problems.

      2nd problems is my Sim No. [protected] is not working cause reflected in Sim is sim registration failed. this is a post paid connection. we already paid one bill of the same number.
      before some days I have recharge my mobile with Rs.100. But after sometime it has been deucted with Rs. -300.00 with do any type of work on mobile .

      as per my complain subject rs, 30 has been deducted from my vodafone account as bhaktisagar subscription.

      I got msg that if i will recharge by 151 will get 251 std talk time till 30th of this month.
      I did the same at 30th.Have not got any balance initially.
      After lodging complaint they credited Rs. 135 balance.
      After lodging complaint many time they toled me we r sorry.
      Plz take care of this complaint.

      Vodafone — Reduce 30 Rupees on my balance

      Hi,
      I am mrityunjay ravi. The customer of vodafone. I have activated missed call service on 27-July-2009 at 11:00 AM my mobile and that time I got a message this service charges in monthly rental is 30 Rupees. Further a moment I have deactivated the service by the message on my mobile and checked my balance, I got 30 Rupees not deductated and another message got me your service is deactivated, as soon as another message I got a message 30 Rupees deducted on your account. I have call various time regarding this fault but they ignored it. I said the customer service to complain registered regarding but they told me your 30 rupees not added in your account balance.       I am a vodafone customers for more than 2yrs and on 30th of july they deducted re.69from my a/c and i have called vodafone cust care for more than 7times and the issue is not sorted out andwhen requested for supervisor they dissconnect the call.the SR# is [protected].

      Vodafone — Activate Caller tune And Deducted Rs 45 From Account

      Sir,
      I am Ujjwal Datta Vill+ P.O - Hosssainpur, P.S- Montweswar, Dist-Burdwan Have a Vodafone connection With No [protected].
      On 10.9.09 a Call comes and activated a caller tune and decuted Rs 45. from my account when I Do Not press any button.But when I contacted customer care they said that I have pressed any button but i have not pressed any button but the customer executive told me that he is forwarding the call to the higher authority but he cuts the call. Then i deactivated the tune. The vodafone does not giving any chance whethere customer wants the service or not. They are doing this without permission of customer. please take the proper action as I can get my money back.

      Vodafone — deduct the balance when there was no service

      On 24th of Sep there was a balance of +100 (Approx) in my account. Then i went for 4-5 days vacations in Haryana. And i found that my cell was not in service. I called to customer care of haryana and punjab as well regarding this. at last i register a complain (no. [protected]) to punjab customer care executive PAYAL. When i came back to Punjab circle on 28th night, then i found my balance as -56.98 rs.

      I make a complain to customer care again regarding this on 29-Sep-2009, and i got the reply on 05-Oct-2009 that you have been charged for using the GPRS. And i dont know how this is possible when my cell was out of service.

      I just want a clarification on this. and want my money back.

      Vodafone — Reducing My Balance

      Last month I recharge the amount of rs 50 of my vodafone No and i got the balance of Rs 53.Something, when i checked the balance on next day i found that they were reduced my 15rs. This is the second happening like this during time of diwali they have reduced my amount even my SMS sending fail. My Vodafone Cell no is [protected]

      I have using vadafone sim card in my mobile, but they are hareshing me by deduction of my balance by acting any scheme on my mobile without asking me. Resently they active message scheme on my mobile and deduce my balance of Rs30/- without asking me.

      Vodafone — non-sense SMS even after 50 days of DND service activation

      I have activated Do Not Disturb service on Jan 27, 2010 and even received sms confirmation from Vodafone for activation. Now it's been more than 50 days, which is 5 days above 45-days of service activation period, but i still keep receiving promotional sms every day, for which i have lodged the complaint twice to Vodafone, but the 'standard answer' from Vodofone is that 'we have receive the complaint and will forward it to concerned department with a resolution period of 21 days' and the pathetic part is "i still keep receiving sms's'

      My question is:
      1. Will consumer keep suffering like this with no appropriate authority to complaint????

      2. Do you think that these kind of irresponsible telecom companies can ensure and contribute in our country's security, when they can't even comply a simple govt. regulation???

      I am on favor of slapping hefty fines on such offenders, so that they can learn the lesson and ensure compliance strictly.

      I got service msg in to my service inbox in ([protected]) my nokia 3610 mobile handset on the date of 15/04/2010. The message was as "Kare Unilimited Download Free bilkul Apke Liye " After receiveing the message i click on retrive button after clicking the button they activated one kind of services and deducted approximately 100 rupeees from my account .I am very much depressed because they are just doing Fraud with us .

      on 08/06/2010 when im get up in early ,, i receive a msg frm vodafone ,
      , that u activate MCI service and 30 RS will be deducted from u r account .

      i dont know about any kind of this service and im not activate it ,
      when i contact customer care , they keep the call on hold , and balance will also deducted while calling to customer care

      Is this the kind of service im paying for?

      Hello ! my complaint is about balance deduction . this is second time that they have deduct my balance of RS 21 .. first time on 22 oct 2010 .. they said sir you have activated scheme of rs 21 internet pack and its feature and all .. but i disagrees that i have not done or activated ,this scheme they register my complaint on 22 oct 2010 and said your query will resolve by 25 oct 2010 on behalf complaint no. But the balance has been deducted from my balance Rs. 98.00 both connection . When I talked to Customer care they are sayng that your Intertnet is Swithched on . But when my GPRS is not on how can the internet facility can be on . After talking to customer care they (C. Care) did not stop to deduct tha balance from mobile . I am unable to think that what should I do . At last I can throw the both sim from my phones and also thinking to go to Consumer court .

      and told me that you have selected for free GPRS user. You can use Free GPRS and also download free wallpaper etc.
      Then after i open the GPRS only for 3seconds and i was also not click any thing to download .
      I find the my Rs99has been deducted from my no.[protected].
      Then I called to customer care excutive(111)
      She refueded to any belace diduction And also disconect the call.

      Please do something ....This is the fraud done by the compney.

      Vodafone — Pathetic service and forceful deduction from my a/c

      Dear Sir,

      My name is Saish Sawant,my number is [protected]. on 28th dec 10 at around 3:30pm I had called customer care because somebody had transferred 30Rs from my mobile. I just wanted to know to which no. the transfer took place.So the customer care executive named Goldy forcefully activated SUNDAY scheme on my mobile and deducted 9Rs from my a/c, I dint wanted this scheme actually.
      So I called back customer care on 29th at 1:15 approx. then another executive (don't know his name) said i am going to transfer the call to senior executive and put me on hold for 45min.Then I again called up at 3:27, they put me on hold for 1:20 min.I called 6 to 8 times but my problem was not solved and also two people have disconnected the call by putting me on hold.This is how they gave me Pathetic service,humiliation,harassment and hypertension.
      Then i went to vodafone store office,there they give me email id
      NODAL.[protected]@VODAFONE.COM and told me to register the complain.
      I am hoping that u will be doing the needful thing, and making your slogan "HAPPY TO HELP" become true.
      I want a acknowledgement from your side as early as possible(today itself). Otherwise I am planning to file a case against the company.

      Within in 4 days of portability I am writing the mail, 2nd times for the complaints against Vodafone. I have activated Vodafone live on my Nokia C-5 handset yesterday and my balance is deducting on continuous basis without using net. Today to stop this (balance deduction) I recharged my no. with Rs 95/- net plan around 3:06p.m. even after that my balance had been deducted which comes to Rs/-8 from Rs.53/-, still my balance is deducting without using your net on mobile

      Did I make a crime for opting Vodafone for portability or its your habit to harass the customer regularly. I hope you will understand my problem and try to resolve it by refunding my balance.

      I hold a prepaid vodafone card my number is[protected]. Till date I have not activated a single facility (like caller tune or so) with this card.. Since past one month my balance is getting reduced for no reason. When inquired with the helpline they said that I need to visit their store. The person in the store said me that I need to visit the vodafone gallery as the store visited by me is the Mini Store. In other words, my problem was not solved and I was made to visit at several stores of Vodafone thereby wasting my time.

      Till date the amount of Rs. 150/- (approx) must have been deducted by them for no reason.

      i am having a Vodafone prepaid number [protected], i used internet from Usb data card of Vodafone to my PC for 1 hour and 20 minutes on 2G network and next day my balance went on Rs -603. at the time o[censored]sing internet my actual balance was Rs38.

      There is an error in Vodafone VAS specially in internet services from mobles and data card.
      this month i bought 7 sims of Vodafone and after service activation and geting the confirmation messages that "service successfully activated" i used those sims and currently all the sims status are Rs -490, -118,230,340 etc.

      My fault was that i bought Vodafone USB datacard and i cant switch the network provider on my device, so either i have to use Vodafone or change my device.

      I agreed about that usage, but the company has to give intimation to their customers, so they do not use additional data, so thats the poor thing from company side
      Rs 15 balance was deducted from my Vodafone number on 30th Mar 2011. When I called customer care, they told me that I had downloaded some "Bleed India" wallpaper. I was watching the India Pakistan Match and in between the match I did not do any such thing. So, This is totally unacceptable and I want my balance back. If this is not done then I would have to approach the consumer court as this is not the first time such a thing has happened.       This is extremely disappointing for me to write a mail to you as I never wanted to do so cos I understand what system up gradation is and what call procedures are.
      But let me tell you very upfront that you have a pathetic customer care department.
      All they can do is place the call on hold and then disconnect it as they do not have resolutions to the problems.
      I have been complaining about my number [protected] registered on Paras Aroras name, from more than two weeks now but have not received a satisfactory answer for that.
      I have been receiving messages from Vodafone about the auto deduction of Rs 399 towards the blackberry services on the 23rd march. I got my phone recharged with Rs 450 on 23rd by 11 am.
      Now from the same day whatever internet usage I did I was charged for that. If my BB services were deactivated due to insufficient funds I should have received a message about it, which I did not receive.
      After calling up the customer care department I visited the Vodafone store as well where in I didn’t get any resolution.

      Vodafone mobile — Automatic Activation of Caller tune and deduction of balance for continue 3 days

      Dear Sir

      I am vodafone mobile customer from last 4-5 months. My number is [protected] (UP West). On 15 Apr 11 I got one message that my caller tune has been activated and some songs has been set at my caller tune, whereas i never requested for same. Same time Rs. 30 was deducted from my balance. I ignored it for once. Next day 16 Apr 11 again i got one message that my caller tune has been activated and 'bekhudi .... song' has been set at my caller tune. This time Rs. 45 was deducted from my account. This time i called up customer care at 111 and Mr. Dharmendra responded and took my complaint for this (Reference number [protected]) and he promised that Rs. 45 will be reverted back to my balance and caller tune was deactivated. Next day again same thing happened and Rs. 45 was deducted from my balance. From evening 17 Apr 11 1800 till 2200 H, customer care didnt help stating that your systems are down due technical problem.

      Though I was waiting for Rs. 45 to be reverted back to my balance ( as per reference number [protected], I was shocked to see again same thing happening on 17 Apr 11. This is quite irritating as i am not interested in any caller tunes. I have never requested for setting up any caller tune and it is being activated automatically. Please do something to get my balance back to my account otherwise I dont have an option rather porting to some other service provider.

      This all has led to a bad taste in my and my colleagues mind regarding VODAFONE. Pls do needful.

      ON 3rd,May,11 when i checked my balance it was around Rs90 and on the next morning i.e 4th,May,11 it was Rs -169.
      When i tried complaint on coutomer care i.e on 198 i talked to Mr. Naveen over coutomer care he told me that your balance has been deducted for internet usage but on the other hand he told me one more thing as i m using Iphone 3GS,till my Iphone servise are not on i cannot use my internet so he made a complaint against this technical fault which he told me and gave me a request number i.e[protected] further he told me that are company will revert back to you in 48 hours.
      But when after 48hr are over there was no revert I again called up VODAFONE COUTOMER CARE the guy tol me there he is again forwarding my complaint and gave me new complaint id i.e[protected] and told me wait for 24hr more..
      Then agian when there was no revert from VODAFONE company i again called them and said all this matter they put me on hold and there was no response for 20-25 minutes while my call was on hold this happens three times and when i agained call I talked to MR.Saumaye he told me that there was not any complaint registered against my number.
      I am really fedup with this comapany for this i want a strict action otherwise they got courage to do the same with other people also.

      Vodafone is the most irresponsible service provider with the worst customer service possible. There was a balance deduction of Rs.30/- a few months back and again Rs.10/- for any unnecessary services which are activated automatically. Icing on the cake, when you call them no response and when asking for an escalation you would be kept on hold for approx. 7mins and the call is cut. This has happened more than 20 times.
      And the best part of vodafone, you have been blacklisted and cannot talk to anyone on the customer care or even the complaints no.198. It is much better to wind up vodafone business in India and the best place for it is through the flush, down the drain!

      With due respect I beg to state that my name is Yogender Yadav, H.no.-29, Ahir Mohalla, Near village post office, Nangloi, Delhi-110041. Im using mobile no. [protected] (Prepaid), from last 5 yrs. On 17th May'2011 from my account balance automatically got deducted and balance was in minus Rs. -286.00 (approx). After that i contacted to vodafone customer care executive about this matter on same day in the evening and customer care executive told me that you have used internet on your cellphone so that your balance got deducted. But i have never used internet on my cellphone and also internet facility is not yet activated on my cellphone. I became fedup from Vodafone service because they don't want to respond me and not taking quick initiative in this regard.

      Therefore its my humble request to you kindly do the needfull as soon as possible and take a quick initiative in this regard.

Day after day unwanted services are activated on my number and my balance gets reduced.I had lodged another complaint for my other vodafone number which i have ported back to BSNL, so do you want me to port this number also? One day while i was sleeping i received an sms regarding the activation of some love guru service in the process of which Rs.30 was deducted from my balance and now my balance is in negative. When we contact the customer care they talk so abusively and rudely that we have to disconnect the call. I talked to Ranbir and Kusum who talked to me very rudely. That day i called the customer care and the person told me to call after 4 hours. He said that the service was activated by mistake and the money would be refunded back,but when i called again they started talking rudely and said the balance will not be refunded. Now should i port my number to some other provider or can you refund my balance of Rs.30 back to prevent me from porting my number?

      I am using vodafone IN since two years. I am satisfied with its services and different tariff plans but sometime it is been observed that some information provided by vodafone IN are falls. due to which we customers had to suffer a lot. On of the common mistake is regarding balance and validity inquiry of massage pack and GPRS promo pack. it never shows the actual and correct validity of this promo packs..


      i myself suffered a lot in this regard and had to spend unnecessarily recharge cards...

      On 5 th of july I have deactivated my vodafone live services and internet services but on 7th july my account get deducted by 18 rs.

        I yadu nagar new customer of Vodafone postpaid [protected] since last month.I had taken the youth-250 plan and according to it 1GB data is free and I had consumed aprox 950 MB which is less than it.But the Vodafone store agent and customer care agent are not registering my complaint, saying that charges are according to the pro-database which I was not informed at the initial when I had taken the Plan by the executive or by any message that I have to use 750 MB or other.Now my billing Last date is 5-feb-2013 and I want to pay my bill but About Rs1000 Extra is added into my bill of that data and my complaint is not registered by anybody.I had complained a lot of times from mails but they are not responding .Please resolve the problem as soon as possible so that I can pay my bill and my number is barred off from the Vodafone service because of it I am facing a lot of problems.I will be thankful to you.

            This is to bring to light the tricky business traps of vodafone.I have been using vodafone postpaid for years an on and off been subject to sudden high usage bills on sudden months.I have been tolerant enough to pay the bills as also the number had other conveniences like calling other in the network for free,certain amount of internet downloads free(supposedly) etc.This was until I realised one month when they charged me a sudden hefty Rs37,000 for internet usage.MY earlier high usages usually got unto rs.2000 to 3000 and if that is what the pattern was and if by rules the download is till 10 GB,then he vodafone customercare should have stopped the connection at and after 10 GB usage or at least by business ethics and principles send me a warning.If not so,at least the billing credit amount should not have exceeded rs 5000 and i should have been restricted usage unless the credit amount to my internet billing account has been paid.it is only at the end of month that i suddenly get a bill of rs 37000 which is a mere unethical business trick to fool customers and trap them in.
            I am subject to the cheapness of a supposedly multi millionaire combat...wonder if this is how they make money...if they get away with on...they'll get away with this again and again.And the sufferers will be the innocent poor victimised customers who to avoid their harassment succumbs to such unethical and intentional cheap business tricks of these companies.

            Vodafone — Regarding excess bill/total ussage bill which is more than the credit limit of the subscriber

            Dear Sir/Madam,
            With due respect i beg to submit that i Mohit Pathak, Advocate is the customer/subscriber of your company i.e. vodafone. I have taken the postpaid sim in the month of June 2008 bearing no. [protected], my credit limit is 1000 Rs. only. Thereafter, expire of near about six month my credit limit is extended upto 1300 Rs. but i have no knowledge about the extension of my credit limit. I have received the bill of amount 1489.21 Rs. which is above my credit limit. The total amount which was payable on 03.01.2009 is near about 1757.00 Rs. which is very-very above then my credit limit. I do not know the reason that when my credit limit is 1300.00 Rs. then how i can talk above my credit limit.
            The two questions are framed by me: (1) Without giving any prior information to the customer/subscriber how can you or your company can increase or decrease the credit limit. If any case/circumstances you or your company can increase/decrease the credit limit of any customer/subscriber then it is very necessary to inform your concerned customer/subscriber by in writting. (2) How can a customer/subscriber can talk above its credit limit and for what reason/circumstances you or your company can not stop his/her outgoing calls.
            This is my case/questions which is to be consider legally. Hence this complain has been made.

            I had a delhi number [protected].I used it last in february as i shifted to some other place.I paid my last bill worth Rs 2500 around.
            In june they hired a disgusted and manner less advocate and harassed my parents by calling every there and then and asked me to pay Rs 7250 as my balance bill.
            I forcefully paid my bill from pune vodafone center and mailed vodafone for my billing statement on 29 june 2009.

            I am a vodafone postpaid customer and have encountered many bad services expreriences with it. my total outstanding bill as per your last information is 2,554/- but whatever charges applied me including internet charges is not accepted by me, because I had not used internet services as much you charges to me. As per my consideration you are charges approximately 1000/- extra for interest charges in total bill. Therefore I request you please waive Rs.1000/- from my total outstanding bill.             This is regarding Vadodara postpaid number [protected]. Right now I am using Vodafone 3G plan. I have limited usage plan of 3GB per month. My billing cycle is 7th day of month to 6th of next month. Usually vodafone service provider never notify me when my 3GB is used. I already paid two times for extra surfing. This time on 6th of march I called vodafone customer care (9:14 AM & call duration was 4 m 12 s) and ask about my usage. Vodafone customer care people (Mr Pankaj) told me that as per system my pending usage is 3000 MB and I can use this free MB up to mid night (6th Mid night). He did mentioned anything about extra charge during entire conversation. This time they charged me for extra usage. I have vodafone on 12.03.2012 to 15.03.2012 five times regarding extra charge.             I want to register a complaint against Vodafone. On 21st April, 12 i went to a Vodafone Mini Store in Ashok Vihar to port my mother's number from Idea to Vodafone. The person at the shop first told me that they would charge Rs 130 instead of Rs 19 as advertised by the company to post my number. When i told then they should Rs 19 they told me that they would charge Rs 130 otherwise they would not port it. I paid them Rs 130 and when i asked them about the bill for the same, they told me that they do not provide bill. I had an argument with them and when i told them that i would call police them only they provided the bill.

            So, i would request the concerned authority to take some action against them.

            My Vodafone Post paid number is [protected]. When i checked this month bill its 1360. They have billed 15 rupees for ISD message which i didnt even do. And also the number of STD calls made also seems to be faked and its showing as i have done 1956 minutes of STD which i didnt do.

            When i call the customer care he is saying that i have sent message so they charged which is not true. These money suckers are eating innocent peoples money.

            On 25th August I purchased a new Vodafone postpaid connection from Vodafone store. I used my number for just making calls and sending SMS, which I was told are free. Now they sent me, bill of Rs. 1249.25. In the bill they have charged Rs. 649 for internet surfing & downloading & they also charged Rs. 150 for activating some Special service of Vodafone which I hadn’t activated. And when I made a call at their customer service number and discussed about my bill issue they neglect that. Company had barred my outgoing calls. And after that they use to make me calls again and again that if I won’t pay the bill amount they would suspend my Incoming service also.             I cant believe what is happening in Vodafone. I am using VODAFONE from last 4-5 years. When I saw sept month detailed bill, I stunned to see I made 5 ISD calls from my mobile and charged Rs 225/-. Call time is showing on 25th Aug, 2012. That day was saturday and I was at home. I never made any ISD calls since I don't have any person outside INDIA.

            I saw many complaints like this and Vodafone is charging customers and cheating in this way.

            If any Vodafone higher authority can intervene in this matter and resolve this ASAP to avoid loosing your valuable customers.

            i am really very sorry to say but I don't know what the billing department is doing when i took the Vodafone connection i was using a Plan of 299/- with limit of 1000/- Rs, for three months then from your side your executive suggested me to change the plan limit up to 3500/-+ 100 Rs. For 3g Internet uses,

            I immediately got agree with them to change the plan limit Maximum Up to 3500/-, on 26 Aug night I checked my account status in one night crossed the limit of 3500/ it was exceeding up to 2200, I contacted Customer Care more than 40 times but no one helped me out for this Issue, But when i received the bill of that month I was really shocked I got a bill of 7505/-. I neither have uses internet .

            My concern is when yo are giving me a limit of 3500 how it can jump up to 7505/- , I am really Upset the way customer care is behaving with me , kindly look it to this matter and Solve the issue .

              I am a vodafone user more than last six years ,but so for i have not received my mob. bill on my e-mail ,reason may be wrong e-mail id in Vodafone record . Also several times i tried to give my correct e-mail id ,but they never updated in their own record. My mob. bill for the period of DEC12-JAN13 received unexpected amount. When i contacted the customer care he told me you have used Internet from your mob for a short time and due to that Rs 850 is Internet uses charges is added.
              I never used the Internet by my mob. because i have mtnl net connection and PC at my house . No body is full to use mob net for few min and paid Rs. 850. I do not know how its happened ,because the mob uses time which i am being told by vodafone that time my mob. was at home and i was in some family party with my friend. I am worried either my mob is wrongly used or the bill charges are in correct. I have asked several time from cust. care excut. and visited the vodafone office as well, but could not found satisfactory result.
              Please do the need full and suggest the right solution, because there is no question of money but misuse of my mob. for Internet uses made me worry ,which i can not do in any case.

                his is to inform you that i had taken two Vodafone Postpaid numbers [protected] & [protected] from Vodafone Gallery -Mulund. I was attended by Customer Supervisor Miss Ayesha who guided me to take the above two connections with the following facilities:
                One plan was 399 double offer and the another one was 149 for which i paid Rs.199.
                Since my wife was going to travel to Goa, I had inquired about the roaming charges for which she promised as null (no roaming charges).
                The 399 Double offer had 3 GB internet free for 3 months, 800 mins local free, rest calls ([protected]@ 50 ps & Local @ 30 ps ) .
                I had also opted for E-bill to cut down the cost of Itemized billing.

                I had visited the gallery twice to confirm the services since i had to leave the country by 2 nd December. Instead of her confirmation of all the above services ,today when my wife called the Customer care helpline numbers from Goa, she has been informed there are roaming charges, data package charges and both incoming & outgoing calls are charged @ Rs. 1 . The Supervisor on call ignored to waive the roaming charges.

                Since both o[censored]s are out of station, and since none of the facilities promised by the executive are been offered I would request immediate disconnection of both the service and full reimbursement of the Sim Card Charges i.e.. Rs.199 .

                Please be noted that no bill will be paid by me for all the unwanted charges & do notify me regarding the date of disconnection of my services.

                  ->I opted to port out of Vodafone due to the pathetic services. The porting request was sent on 14th December 2012. Changed to the new network on 21st December 2012.
                  ->I did pay the outstanding amount on the latest bill. I am aware that there was still an unbilled amount that I needed to pay for the period beteween service provider change.
                  -> Vodafone does not send the last bill, no email, no hard copies, no nothing.
                  -> I am now informed by the new service provider that if I do not pay the oustanding amount of previous provider, my number will be disconnected.
                  -> I approach Vodafone store, they say pay Rs 1280.
                  -> Vodafone will not provide a bill to explain this huge bill. They will not even explain why this amount is charged.
                  -> My average monthly bill for the past two years is Rs 500.
                  -> asked them to at least send me a soft copy, answer is no. Same on their customer care number.
                  -> Not allowed to view bill in the on-line account either. I am locked out of this account.

                  I conclude that this is Vodafones way of ripping people off one last time when they get tired of the substandard services and opt to port out. I need to use my number, so i guess i will pay the bill now. Vodafone = thief.

                    Vodafone illegally harass me by banning outgoing of my phone no. [protected]. It was their gross negligence. The detail of my complaint is as under :

                    Vodafone is demanding illegal outstanding bill of phone no. mobile no.[protected] amounting to Rs. 700/-approximately which was closed on 1709.2012 on their Nabha Store with full and final payment.

                    I visited Vodafone store Nabha on 17th september and requested Mr Jaswant Singh employee of their Company to close the said number, on his instructions Ideposited Rs.300/- vide receipt no.PJB001c120917_3961671 and broke the sim card on his instructions. Now Vodafone Company has stopped outgoing of my current mobile no.[protected] on dated 17.01.2013 due to non payment of outstanding amount of mobile no.[protected] which is illegal and unfair on their side and causing mental harassment to me, please note due to their such illegal action my job is also suffering, since I am in the Sales job. Please note when I paid the full and final amount and the Sim card had been broken, how could the same number was in used. It was either the mistake of their employee Mr Jaswant Singh to complete the process of closing or the Vodafone Company.

                      My mobile no. [protected]. I requested to convert my Vodafone prepaid connection to postpaid. I got a postpaid SIM card. Today at 9 AM I got a message from vodafone that, 'your connection will activate within 2 hours.' It was not activated within 4 hours, I contact the service center boy, he told me that, 'it will activated in the evening'. It not activated at 5 PM I visited the service center (mulund), the person Mr. Sanjay Chendaliya informed me that it will take time, and will activate tomorrow at 1 PM. I'm a business man and without my mobile number, I have to face a lot of problem.

                      So please solve my problem today. I also contacted Vodafone customer care, I got a complaint no. [protected]

                      When I approach the service center, for prepaid to postpaid connection, the service center person told me that "It will activated within no time".

                        1. Inquired Vodafone for post-paid tariff and plans.
                        2. On 23/01/13 got full-charge tariffs of requested plans from Vodafone ltd.
                        3. On 24/01/13 called for sign-up. The Errand ecec. Anand who came said the mailed details are incorrect and the provisions of free call mins of 100 for CLIP-Rs.25/- is not applicable to all and any of the plans listed in the mail and have to pay for it separately.
                        4. How is it correct..? Now from mail to sign-up a hike-change in tariff is said, then during first bill and goes on and on new unsaid charges being added without any end. How it is RATIONAL and FAIR.?
                        5. Is it not unfair, atrocious, unlawful disowning it's own mail sent after many levels of verification..? Does it not TANTAMOUNT to cheating...?

                            I have moved to Mumbai.

                            I called Vodafone Customer Care ([protected]) on 1st December and spoke to Ms Kritika. The Call reference number was[protected]. I was told by Ms Kritika that I had a current month outstanding of Rs 414.00.

                            I paid the same through AMEX on 02/12/12.

                            Just a while back, I called your customer care number [protected] and spoke to a gentleman by name Mr. Ramesh. My call reference number is[protected].

                            He did not have an explanation and mentioned I shall get a call back. I am waiting for the same.

                            Let me now tell you what all happened post I wrote the e mail dated 18th January 2012.

                            18th January night: I received a call from a person by name Syed from number [protected]. The reference number of the call is [protected]. Essentially he said that nothing can be done excepting refunding the payment. However, he patiently listened to me. He also assured that I shall get a call back from his superior.


                            19th January morning: I got a call from a lady by name Banu from number [protected]. The reference number of the conversation is [protected]. She is one of the worst and rudest Vodafone customer care person that I have interacted with. Firstly, she said, your telephone connection was re-instated because of instruction from your corporate. She did not even know that this number [protected] is my own connection. I told her to send that proof or e mail "from my corporate". She bluntly said, its NOT our policy. What a shame in the name of "Vodafone Customer Care". Then she bluntly said, since we have charged you wrongly I shall refund the money and thats it! Nothing more! I asked her how will you send the refund, she said after 48 hours your phone connection WILL be disconnecetd and after a fortight, we shall send a cheque to your Chennai address. I mentioned, I am not in Chennai but in Mumbai. But the lady had the audacity to tell me that "its not our problem. Once the check expires, then you need to go to a Vodafone store in Chennai and collect payment" How mindless a person can be!

                            Ladies and Gentleman, I have presented my case. Now let me know what you are going to do about it.

                            I repeat what I mentioned earlier:

                            1. I have made the disconnection request on 1st December. I was promised that it will be disconnected after 14 days once I make my current month outstanding.
                            2. I have paid the current month (un-billed and billed) amount on 2nd December.
                            3. You have WRONGLY charged me Rs 212.00 on 15th January.
                            4. I need my Rs 212.00 back (and NOT through a checque to Chennai address but an address in Mumbai as its YOUR fault not mine that I have to run around to get the money back)
                            5. I need my compensation for YOUR mistake. Same logic: If a custome does not pay you on time, a custome pays penalty. If you take my money by YOUR MISTAKE (can also be trated as cheating!), you should be penalised.

                                I have a vodafone connection "[protected]". I have submitted my closure of connection at Vodafone office at Visakhapatnam on 26th Sept 2012. I was told in the Vodafone store that my connection is closed. At the time of closure I have made all the necessary payments. But I still find my bill getting generated over the next two months. I have sent reminder emails to the vodafone care but did not receive any response. I got a demand notice on 27.12.2012 for paying my debt of 876. As i'm currently out of India i have payed it and requested to close my connection. This month as well the bill got generated. Request you to do the needful. I have as well dropped a mail to vodafone corporate care.

                                an astro service was activated on my no-[protected] in jan2008 without my consent for which numerous requestsemailand personal visitshave been made to vadafone call centres odal officersupervisiors, since march 2008, to deactivate this nonsense, but of no awail.i have been harassed and mentelly tourchered by giving false assurances to fix this problem and reverse the charges since2008.march. they does seems tobe bothered about their mooto"happy to help.".Ihaveen never been provided feed back about the status of pending complaint.or was it such a big mess that could not be retified in last 8 months.pl help.

                                Respected sir,
                                I, the undersigned, had bought no.[protected] from Vodafone on 1st week of April 2009. While giving the proof documents I had requested by giving a letter to the official to keep my credit limit Rs.300/- only.
                                When a Vodafone official had come to my residence for address verification I also had requested him for a credit limit of Rs.300/- which he had written down on the verification letter. Later when the first bill came it was around Rs.600. when we had inquired at the Vodafone store that how did the bill come around Rs.600 they said that the request for credit limit is not yet upgraded and will get activated within a week.
                                When the second bill came it was around Rs.1500/- and when we inquired about the sudden increase in the bill they turned a deaf ear to my request of decreasing credit limit. Later when I went to the store again to discard my no. and return the sim card the replied by saying that I can throw the sim card and the no. will get canceled within some days. When we asked a written application that they will discard the no. within how many days, they refused to give a written application.
                                And now they call me and also at my residence and harass my family n from some days they are also sending a person who comes at my residence when I am in my office and harasses my family.
                                So I request u to look into this matter and help me.

                                I am Narayan Prasad Chaudhary from Kanpur . I have owned a vodafonhte postpaid connection aprox. 18 months ago and i have surrendered the connection 2 months ago but the bill is continuously coming to me and the phone calls for billing is inturupting in my daily work . I have the recieving of the sim which i have surrendered . I have complained several times in Vodafone office but there is no one to look after .
                                Its a sincere request that u please look after the matter an take the needful action .
                                My vodafone number is [protected] abd I activated GPRS with the monthly plan of RS 25.
                                But i got a bill for 1300 only for GPRS usages for Nov'10 bill. But the net i used is thru Wifi and everything is charged thru vodafone connect.THey have barred the outgoing and there is no action taken to revise my bill.Kindly help me in this.
                                seriously there moto should be "we r happy to harass" . one should never go for vodafone..ppl put there if you have vodafone..throw that away..sooner or later they will definitely harass you.

                                  I have a Vodafone number [protected] which is sayin temporalily out of service, this number is register on my name Mohd Ami Ahmed but when i call to customer care they says that i have said wrong name, eariler i hav activate this number by sayin same name. How can be happen this? I have a another vodafone number eariler its have the same condition out of service so i take new number, how a another person know my details n deactivate my number...is their any present of privacy..this happen to several times that some one is deactivate my number how can i solve this problem

                                      I am using Vodafone corporate Services for my No:- [protected] from last few years it has come to my notice that i have been charged incorrectly for bills every monthly basis, this time an alarmingly high bill of Rs8613.00 approx in which shockingly they have charged Rs 6500 for internet usage only and Rs 850 tax, this is just next to impossible as i have never used services for this much amount. when i called customer care to inquire about all this the Agent named Sunny kept my call on hold for more than 30 minutes then i called again and agent named Sanjay kept my call on hold again for 30 minutes. these kind of services are unheard of. This is very shocking and frustrating to make a follow up with these people i want a strictest possible action taken against the company and the executives. I want a complete waiver of these incorrect charges for this month as well as all the previous month bills which i have paid.

                                      I also want to reveiw all my monthly bills for last 1 year atleast as i suspect that in detail as i suspect a big fraud.

                                      Vodafone — charged incorrectly

                                      I sunny tolani who has been using this number since 7 yrs & had no option but to keep he number i was on a group talk plan wherein within the group one is not charge to make calls i.e intra calling is absolutely free this was all working fine & i usually never bithered to check my bills once i just thought of checking & i see that i have been charged to call the number in my group when i call vodafone customer care mumbai i have attened by an advisor NAMED MAYANK & who puts me on hold to check the information & after a long hold call gets disconnected, i dnt understand these advisors do these purposely & if its a mistake why dnt they make an attempt to call the customer back, i would really want my bill get settled ASAP or i & my group members have decided to take serious action against Vodafone for which we would require som help as well, & discontinue all the vodafone connection that we all have

                                      Hello Sir, I have bought 2 vodafone post paid connections ([protected] & [protected]) with the 3G internate connection. I was keep on calling them that I was not getting internet properly. Also I have asked them to add the power plus for 0.50 paisa calling plan, but they did not applied. The end of the month they have charge me like any thing. Also the time when I bought the sims they told that I will not be charged rental for 1st 3 months. Now they are telling that there is no offer like that. Please take care this issue against them.
