Issue 1: I went to the Vodafone Store in South Extension on 9th Jan to upgrade my Blackberry data plan to 3G and avail a microsim as well for my businessphone. The store person, Mr Amit and Mr Kamal Patra advised me that it will be activated in 2 hours and deactivated my current plan. When it wasn't activated even after 4 hours, I called customer care who told me I was wrongly advised and it will take 24 working hours, with the result that I was left without a phone even now. The customer care person,Mr Sidharth Singh refused to connect me to the supervisor and said to wait or talk to higher authorities myself.

Issue 2: The bigger issue. When I probed as to why the Store misguided me they said they have no idea and have no control over retail stores and do not control them. Now as a consumer, it baffles me that Vodafone, that has its branding and all in retail store do not have policy and service control in retail stores however, they do give them access to their customer management software that includes all my personal, financial and business details. Should not mobile providers communicate this clearly to all customers? Is this a standard practice, if yes then it is dangerous. Forget the shoddy service and wrong information, but should not they take ownership of what the retail stores are doing? Are the stores to blame or the company? I am sure there is the risk of datatheft too in all these stores since they do not have supervision.

    I had requested for a 3g plan on 2nd january and till date I am not able to use 3g services .Every executive tells me a different issue.But no one has resolved my issue.I am able to use edge but not 3g.
    Its been 7 days and the validity of the plan is 30 days.Now they have deactivated IVRS options from my number.
    I am frustrated and its causing a lot of inconvenience.
    Please look into it on urgent basis.

      who is that has activated the active service in my account as i have migrated from uninor to vodafone and i have submited the form in voda fone store near deve gowda petrol bunk and there was a balance of 45 rs in my account and i have not activated an i have already registerd that no marketing calls and service not to be sent and the name shart said that it was been activated on 27/12/2012 as i had given a call migration and recharge of 10+36 and once again i have called to customer care on 09/01/2013 kiran has been deactivated and i need my money back and why is that voda fone is doing like this and alternate no is [protected] time between 1:45 to 2 pm every day

        i am vodaphone prepaird costumer ,i am plan thiland trip on 1212013.rgarding this i contacte custemer care or call center of voda. for information about international roaming i am speak yo Trupti shinde and Rahul dilip patil about same .they both gives me wrong information because of that i recharge my mobile with wrong amount and mental harrashment.the company can chack recording of same and refund me my money.and kike out such useless peoples.

          STD outgoing service was deactivated on evening of 7 Jan 2013. After repeated calls to customer care and visit to the Vodafone store the issue has still not been resolved. The customer care representatives also have not been able to confirm the cause for the problem and have repeatedly violated false commitments of resolution.

          hi this is suraj, i have been owning the vodafone prepaid number [protected] for past 8 years, recently in oct i started getting messages to submit address verification documents, which i submitted in 3 oct 2010 in vodafone store, kamanhalli office, bangalore.
          after which the messages stopped coming....

          all of a sudden on 12th dec 2010, my phone account was suspended, on enquiring it in belgaum vodafone store they informed they could not see any details, on calling the customer care they asked me to visit the same store in bangalore where i submitted the documents and ask them, i had to visit bangalore for the sole reason and on 17th dec 2010, i visited the kamanhalli office and they apologised and gave a new SIM as replacement and assured they will transfer the Rs773 which was in my previous SIM to my new SIM belonging to same number.

          on 24 dec 2010 my phone outgoing is barred again saying that i have not submitted any documents hence its barred, which is very surprising as i have already done it , numerous calls to customer care and mails and visits to vodafone store did not help at all leaving me in lurch and losing all the previous calls from my friends and family causing a huge financial and personal loss...
          hope this complaint will help recover my loss

            Vodafone — Suspension of Services

            Vodafone had suspened my services for 2 to 3 days without me requesting for the same and when asked for clarification they claim that I had called then to report my phone lost and for suspension of services, first they claimed that they have not sent me any letters and a New SIM card, when i sent them the proof they now claimed that I had called requested for this, which is the biggest bluff I have heard, Can some one help me to get justice.

              My vodafone mobile no is [protected], I recharged 399 BIS pack and also had additional balance,when my balance reached 14re my entire balance has been cut,again i recharged for 30re with me using NO DOWNLOAD still 5rs has got cut! what kind of service are you running??? If i dont get my balance back I will complain in the consumer court! You already take money for BIS 399 then why deduct balance and irritate customers!

              My prepaid balance on 6/9/09 was rs49.70. I found balance of Rs.9.70 on 7/9/09.without any call. I got msg for monthly bonusof Rs39.0 against payment of Rs.39.0 p.m.,which I refused to accept through sms CAN39 to144 , which was accepted by vodafone. I contacted customer services m/s khusboo, to revert back un authorised deduction of Rs 39.0 from my account. It was promised to correct balance, but so far it is not done .This is in correct practice to deduct any amount without authorisation from prepaid account.This is highly objectionable practice and it amounts harrassment to customer. Will vodafone customer services look into matter immediately and correct amount immediately and desist from such bad practices.My vodafone no, is [protected]

              Yes, Vodafone knows how to deceive customers by blaming on Vodafone Live & Browser. Same thing happened with me, I only used BBM & browser for Facebook but still balance kept deducting. After chasing up several times, finally I was asked to sms CAN GPRS which fixed the issue. But this is not ethical, Vodafone activates GPRS on purpose! Why should GPRS be active in the first place when BIS is activated? Way to go Vodafone! (sarcasm)

                I am using vodafone prepaid sim & staying in HSR. For around last 4 - 5 months, I am experiencing one major issue - range loses frequently. When I am in house, walking, bus, office(JP nagar 2nd phase), I am seeing this issue. Irrespective of the places or the state of mobile - whether stationary or moving, Issue remains.
                If I switch off mobile for some long time like some hours & reboot it, issue goes for some days. But it comes back again after 3-4 days

                    Hi,

                    This is regarding discrepancy in STD charges for my Mobile number in the bill
                    period of 1-Oct-12 to 31-Oct-12. My Docket number for this complaint is
                    [protected].

                    As per my tariff plan, call rates for all STD numbers is 0.50 Rs per minute.
                    However, in my bill, the discount related to my STD calls has been calculated
                    wrongly.

                    I am describing the calculations below for quick reference:
                    [protected]--
                    STD minutes used by me and mentioned in the Bill: 794 minutes
                    STD charges mentioned in the Bill: 794 minutes x 1.5 Rs/minute=1191 Rs.
                    Discount provided in the Bill for STD charges: 593 Rs.

                    Net STD charges charged in my bill after discount: 1191 Rs-593 Rs=598 Rs.

                    Actual STD charges based on my plan must be: 794 minutes x 0.50 Rs/minute=397
                    Rs.

                    Excess charges: 598 Rs-397 Rs=201 Rs.

                    As mentioned in the calculation above, my actual STD charges must be 397 Rs.
                    However, after discount, STD charges mentioned in my bill are 598 Rs (201 Rs
                    extra).

                    I have already contacted to Vodafone customer care many times by Email and
                    phone but everytime they provide me some vague responses and tell that
                    discount of 593 Rs is calculated correctly but no-one is able to explain me
                    that why the discount of 593 Rs is correct. I have tried to explain them on
                    call as well that the discount must be 794 Rs by explaining them the
                    calculations. Everyone is agreeing with the calculations but nobody is providing the resolution regarding less discount. Also Vodafone Corporate care team doesn't even read the mail before responding.

                    However, the discount have been correctly calculated for the next 2 month bills.

                    Would request you to please check the calculation and ask the Vodafone team to
                    adjust these excess charges in my bill period of 1-Oct-12 to 30-Oct-12.

                    Bad Network.... after 5 seconds of every call I make the network goes off and the call gets disconnected.
                    Plus from yesterday.. after every call i am being charged and extra 1.5 rs...

                    I had bought you Sim from one of vodafone associate,The plan he told us includes discount as follows:

                    1.200 free sms monthly.
                    2.100 Min's free STD calls.
                    3.100 Min's free LOCAL calls.
                    4.Free call to all vodafone users belongs to TCS.

                    After inquiring to customer care they told all discount will be available after one month billing,i am about to pay second month bill no discount is provided.

                        I contact Vodafone customer care via phone calll as well as mail(Sunil Wadhwa Customer care executive) but they won't respond satisfactory answer and try to extend this matter for a long period and not trying to get resolved
                        Vodafone has charged me the wrong internet bill of Rs 1800 even when I already activate the internet plan on my number. When I complaint to the customer care then they told me we are activated the promotional offer on your number and not charged the monthly rental of internet on your bill but how they can activate the promotional offer on my number and simultaneously charged the monthly rental of internet from the day one on which I activated the internet plan.

                        Vodafone — mobile internet

                        I often use mobile internet of vodafone.Mostly use daily plans(browsing data 40 MB for 4 Rs for one day). I am not able to found how much data is remaining on my account and there is no such option also in vodafone( Ofcourse we will get information after 24hrs through sms only). Many times my balance become negitive due to unknown ammount of data in my account.
                        In airtel it will not work if it reaches the balance zero and we can know the remaining ammount of data at any time.Many times i feel it as a harashment and i would like to give complaint to consumer forum.
                        I have no activated any vodafone internet pack then also i charged more than 500 rs on current bill, when i called customer care they said it is automatically activated the internet...but i m using company airtel sim where i am getting enough internet data...so why should i activate vodafone internet pack

                          Vodafone — Unauthorised activation of services

                          Iam a vodafone customer My name is CYRIL JEROME My no [protected]. On 01 Aug 2010 without my being call to customer care the charges from 01 paise transferred to 1 rupee. All my calls are costing 1rupee per call.
                          Kindly de-activate the service to my mobile and make all my calls 1paise per second.

                            My name is shakil khan

                            My sim was not working so I visit at vms/vs/111/nodal they said that number has been swep from Vodafone distributer.

                            But I not request for sim replesment- port out and vms exe. Said that number ([protected]) was replaced 1-jan-2013 TIME-6.PM. by a M.R.ISHAK DISTIBUTER FARUK TELECOM CRM-SIM-[protected] & [protected].

                            So I want to know that how it is possible as I am using a number so why my sim replace

                            Sir last time my one prepaid number was also replaced by any another person on 1-dec-2012 number was [protected] name is salim khan so visited at VMS/VS/or nodal office for get this number again name of same name salim khan

                            Till now 34 days has been gone but no any proper salutation/answer not received from Vodafone . that was my business number and I am losing my business from 1-dec

                            Now 2 case has been over and 2 sim replacement has ben done with out any information

                            I waited about 35 days for your revert and get these sim card again but there is no any improvement about my these case so nw I am taking legal activation against Vodafone Company or CEO Mr. Anand Sahai for fraud SIM replacement . now I has been registered FIR today in police station /consumer court/Trai.

                            In last 30 days 2 sim replacement case has been happened with my self. I hope after these 2 case who was replaced sim card Vodafone will take legal action and will be terminate these guys .

                            These connection is running on my name if any person replace sim card and misuse my card and called to any terrorist.

                            So I have no any responsibility after 1-dec-2012 to till now and the responsible person will

                            1. Vishu Verma ([protected] ) who has replaced sim card

                            2. Isak ([protected] ) who has replaced sim card

                            3. Munir ([protected] ) who has replaced sim card

                            4. Nodal Office ([protected] )

                            5. CEO of Vodafone Anand Sahai .

                            Vodafone — sim replacement took 9 days

                            SHAME! - took 9 days to get a sim replaced

                            Worst ever service that I have experienced in my life. Emails are replied to without understanding the urgency or question. It took 9 days for Vodafone to provide a replacement sim that worked and I had to visit their store, calle customer care, call my relationship manager and use influence through my admin team. Can you believe the impact on my business.

                            What’s worst is when I wrote right to their leadership even then they couldn’t compensate for their failures.

                              My company recently given me corporate number( mobile no-[protected] on the name of “Maini Materials Movement Pvt. Ltd.” ) of Vodafone for official use. But you have barred services of my number since last 2 days .When I asked your customer care about the reason then they have told me that some other guy from my company with number ([protected]) has not paid his bill that’s why you have barred my services also . From past two days I am requesting to enable my number just because I have nothing to do with that guy & his number but you guys are not listening .Pls tell me what is the logic behind it. If my company is purchasing 50 numbers from you then will I be responsible of every number & it’s bill ? what is that logic ? This is my official number & my work is suffering . I want activation of my number from immediate effect. I am not responsible for bill of some other guy just because he is using number given by my company. Pls tell me clearly I can’t take responsibilities of all numbers purchased by the company. & also talk to my company about changing our service provider. Because this is not the way to serve in corporate. There are several other ways to tackle these type problems like talk to our office coordinator about pending bills or any other problem etc. But barring services of my number for pending bill of some other guy’s number is just ridiculous. Pls remove my number from alternate number from any other number from my company. My work is hampering just because of it & I can’t take chances with it anymore.

                              I am very much disappointed from your way of treatment to customer & it is not acceptable in corporate world also.

                                  Sub:- Regarding de-Activation of Data Pack of 100 MB and refund of money Rs 33 .

                                  With due respect I have to state that I have been using My VodaPhone Number [protected] from last 12 years but now a days the service of VodaPhone is going worst that I had ever experienced .From last two Weeks VodaPhone service provider deducting my money on the basis of Activation of Data Pack of 100 MB three times although I hasn’t activated that In fact Your Customer Care Executive Manju Rani is Responsible for activation of this service.

                                  So this is the request to you that kindly de-activate this Data Pack service and refund the amount of Rs 33 back on [protected] that you have deducted otherwise I have to forcibly change our service provider finally
                                  .
                                  And In fact I had to drop my Plan of Converting this Pre-Paid account to Post Paid.

                                  I hope you will consider my complaint seriously and resolve till today.

                                      i am using vodafone mobile connexion under kolkata circle from last six months. my no., is [protected]. i am enjoying rs.147 mobile internet plan,i.e, 1200mb data/month( prev., 2gb/month) in my sonyericsson xperia x10i( with 16 gb external memory card and 8 gb free space in it). now a days i am facing data theft from the service providers' end. i have informed by the aforesaid provider that i will consume the allotted data with 40-60kbps speed. but when try to download a large file with download resuming facility by using opera, ucweb or embedded webkit, the following problems occurred. the download speed decreased from 40-60kbps to 636-45bytesps,thereby deliberately damaging the downloading content. additionally i could not able to resume them.this new technique of data theft vodafone is applying to all different download content,e.g, national treasure(700 mb), amazing spiderman(545mb) to name only a few.
                                      plse take suitable actions against these new data pirates.

                                        My Vodafone prepaid tariff was expired in the month of december2012 and i called to customer care on 31st dec 2012, to ask the tariff details n the executive said me that for me to recharg 83 and i vl get 0rs talktime and all call rates vl b 1/2p/sec,and my 1st 3 sms vl b chargabel and 97 sms vl b free for d day.
                                        and by trusting him n beliving him i recharged of rs83 bt now my all sms charged 1rs,
                                        so beliving him recharged so nw i want my sms to b free

                                        Complaint #2:
                                        as my all sms are charged 1rs icalled to customer executive on 2nd jan 2012, around 9.50pm, he spoke to me n when still i was speaking abt the tariff suddenly he kept me on hold without informing me and transfered to other guy. soi felt insult bcoz stil i was speaking him, the the other guy who took took the transfer cal spoke to me for 2min n the he kept my call on hold for 59min. n i was on line for 59min.
                                        so i want to know is this the way u guys shows the respect to ur customers ?
                                        so both of the executive insulted me badly.
                                        and also u later when u guys promised me that u solve my problem n get me back on 3rd jan 2012. bt still no responce fm u.
                                        now a days Vodafone bcame worst really im not at al happy with ur netwok.
