Hi All,

This is to bring in notice to you that, the mobile service provider (Vodafone) failed once again to provide the valuable service to the customers. Here is the reason for that, i have recharged my mobile with 51/- through online banking pre-paid recharge.

Before recharging my mobile, i have checked with the available full talk time recharges in Vodafone by dialing *111#, where in at option 8 Best Offer, it was listed as below.
1. 222 RC
2. 51 RC
3. 52 RC.

So as per the above list, i have chosen 51 RC and recharged through bank network online recharge. But unfortunately i have not received the recharge amount, so later on i have recharged with 222 RC through a retailer than i got this 222 recharge amount.

When i spoke with the Vodafone customer care executive regarding the 51RC which i have recharged in the morning. They said that there is no such RC available in Vodafone, If there is no such recharge available in Vodafone why that 51RC is listed in the Best Offer ???

I have asked them to return back my 51 Rupees since it is not there, than the customer care executive said that i have to wait for 4 days to get back that amount credited in to my account. this is very ridiculous. I will not wait for even 10 minutes also.

Please lodge a compliant on the Mobile Service Provider (Vodafone) and do the needful.

Thanks,
Nagaraj.

Thakur Village, Vodafone gallery representative – Wasim says Vodafone call centre people may have lied to you and provided false information. Very interesting indeed!!!

My dad recently ported in to Vodafone and is already regretting his decision. A platinum customer with Loop Mobile earlier with a credit limit of Rs. 7,000/- is already facing nightmares with Vodafone guys. His all-India ISD calling has not been activated yet despite repeated assurances from Vodafone call centre guys. I have already made 4 calls and 2 visits to Vodafone gallery. When I visited the gallery 2 weeks back, I was told that ISD activation would happen only after physical verification which would happen in 2-3 days max. It took 8 days for the Vodafone representative to come home for the PV. This happened on Saturday. Post this, he mentioned that all we need to do is now send an SMS saying ACT ISD to 111 on Monday and the service will be activated. This did not happen. I then called the call center and spoke to Ashraf on the phone on December 24th about the same. He started telling me about some deposit that needs to be paid for the activation of ISD – something that NOBODY had mentioned to us before. I then insisted that I wish to speak to his supervisor which he very reluctantly connected me to. Unfortunately, I do not recall his name. But after listening to the entire case, he said he has forwarded a request for the activation of the same and it will be done in 4 hours max. It did not happen. On 25th December I called again and spoke to an executive, reciting the complete story again. At the end of the conversation after telling him that I will need to think about porting out, he assured me that the activation will be done. But this was not done again. On December 26th, I called again and spoke to Nadeem who said that since the PV process was still on it had not got activated. My Dad would receive an SMS by 27th around 4.00pm saying that PV process and credit verification process has been completed, post which I can send the SMS – ACT ISD to 111 and it will get activated within 4 hours without any deposit. This again did not happen. Hence, I visited the Vodafone gallery at Thakur Village today around 4.00pm and met up with this gentleman Wasim who very patiently listened to my story and recited the same words – there is a deposit that needs to be paid. When I told him about the repeated assurances that I was given by the call centre executives and asked him if they were lying, he says, “Yes”. He also says with absolute arrogance and insensitivity that there is no point arguing over the same thing again and again and that he would not be able to help. So there goes your tagline of ‘HAPPY TO HELP’ in the dustbin.

I personally have a relationship with Vodafone as a customer since 2001. But if this attitude of Vodafone representatives continue, even I will need to start thinking about porting out.

I had taken a Data Card from M/s. Vodafone Mobile serivice vide no. [protected]. The said was for optional usage incase of emergency as i already have a Black Berry were in I have the net service.

In the first month the card was not at all working and i received a bill for the same of Rs.250/- or so after complaint the same was discounted in the second month again i reveived a bill of Rs.850/- I requested them to discontinue the same as the bill was coming on a higher side without much usage or else give me a 2GB usage at Rs.99/- per month if not to discontinue the no.

The same was forwarded for approval by the agency though which i had taken the connection. In the time being i took a wired connection for the net at home and requested them to discontinue the no. mentioned above. For the next month i had the card kept in my office drawer and after a month I received a bill of Rs.4600/- for the usage. I wrote to vodafone and fwd them the msg send for discontinuation.

Inspite of repeated reminders they did not give me a positive reply and always said that the usage was there. I told them that how can it be used when its in locker, they gave me excuses like you must have logged in and must have not logged off so the usage is there.

On 26th December I received a call from one of the agents of Vodafone ([protected]) , who has used unwanted faulty language on the phone. I want to know what legal action can be taken against them.

Await your response at the earliest.

        Thanks & Regards

I sent the following mail to 'nodal.[protected]@vodafone.com'

I received an SMS today that informed me that some “Big Fat Free Store” service had been activated on my Vodafone connection and I was being billed INR 35 per week. Worst of all, it is a service that is renewed automatically.

I failed to understand how this service was activated on my connection. When I called Vodafone customer care to check if it was some kind of spam SMS, one Mr. Shreesha attended my call (call reference number:[protected]. I was utterly disappointed by the way Mr. Shreesha handled my call. He was outright rude and treated me as if I was a criminal for having activated the service myself and now complaining about it.

His mannerisms were stinking of a very malicious business practice being followed by your company. Curiously, I was informed that “by mistake” I would have clicked on some ad on my touch screen phone. This is clearly a case of connivance of your organization with third-party vendors to loot your customers. I raise a serious objection to such conduct on your part.

I also hereby wish to inform you that if the mentioned amount of INR 70 appears in my next bill, I would not be able to pay that bill. Hence, please ensure that this is not included in the next bill such that I am able to make timely payment of the bill.

I was using prepaid Hutch/Vodafone services (No: [protected]) since June/2006. This year in March/2012 I was deployed in South Sudan for one year (till March/2013). When I was on leave in June/July in India this year I was shocked to learn that Vodafone has stopped the services on the above mentioned No.

Due to some unavoidable circumstances I could not contact with Vodafone customer care to get my services restored.I want to bring to your notice that this No has been mentioned by me in all my official/Bank documents.

As a bonafied customer of vodafone and a respected citizen of India serving in Railway Protection Special Force in Delhi, I request that I may please be helped out and services of my vodafone No [protected] may be restored.

                  Thanking you in anticipation.

First time they charged rs 35. I called customer care and got it cancelled. They said they can't do anything.
He even boasted about this useless weekly expenditure service called biscoot.com.
Somehow i got it cancelled. Same thing happened 2 more times. This has not happened with me but many other post paid customers.
Two of my friends got same charge same way.
When I saw the bill today I was surprised to see they charged me Rs 105 for this useless service without even confirming the same from me.

                    My vodafone number is [protected]
This just happened to me ...same situation mine is prepaid ..they deducted Rs. 35 and message from them says:

Hello!biscoot.com pack is now active on your number, as requested. This service is valid till[protected] and a 7 days rental of Rs 35 has been deducted. Your current Balance post service activation is Rs 8.689. To Deactivate send Can biscoot to 111 / 144 (toll free)

I don't know what kind of fraud is this...in the same way customer care people were not helping and trying to convince me that i have activated the service from internet that i didnt.

Please help me out if someone has working solution @[protected]@gmail.com

                      Address: Delhi

Sub.: Telecom Wireless 2G Consumer Complain: Vodafone inflated bill for account no :1.30085438, mob.No: +91 [protected] - billing issue, data usage exceeded till rs.38664/- Where allowed usage credit limit is mere rs.9000/-, Nobody informed exceeded data usage

                      Dear Sir,
                      Greetings of the day!
I am a regular customer whose payment and loyalty to the Vodafone (Delhi & NCR) has remained promising so far. But i received a bill no.: [protected] dated- 15/Dec/2012, for the billing period of 15/Nov/2012 to 14/Dec/2012. Where i have been charged Rs. 8871.57, against in spite the nominal usage of 700 Rs. (incl Tax).
As per the Vodafone, the bill have firstly calculated by their Billing Centre for a total sum of Rs.38,664.50 for Data Internet 3866450KB usage, during the period 15/Nov/2012 to 14/Dec/2012. Where as per the customer care the usage at the 14th of December was almost around Rs.38,600. But as per Vodafone Offered Relationship my Credit Usage limit is merely Rs.9000/- only. My Point is that how my billing account relationship has now permitted the extra usage above Rs.9000/- which has exceeded as much as 4 times by my existing allowable limit, resulting Rs[protected]= Rs 29664 extra usage.

I want explanation from their Billing centre, that has caused me a loss of sum of Rs.7207/-.

Till date i have requested their Customer Care and Appellate Authority (please refer the bottom of this letter to check the e-mails summary) which are not keen for resolving this issue.

My Last Reminder-3 dated Tue[protected] PM 10:34. Has no fruitful replies received.

I am R.D.Pawar. My Vodafone post paid mobile number is [protected]. My complaint is that on 14/12/12, I made a recharge of Rs.300 by ICICI debit card. Also I made recharge of Rs.100 each on 18/12/12 and 21/12/12 by cash. I have not made any major calls from my mobile after 14/12/12, but even then my balance was deducted frequently in fraudulent manner and false bills were sent on my mail.
In past also I have faced such problems of FALSE BILLING by Vodafone. So I am extremely annoyed with the fraudulent ways of VODAFONE. This is a serious complaint which if not resolved immediately, I will have to file a police complaint against VODAFONE.

Along with my above complaint, I also demand suitable compensation for the mental tensions and time wastage.

I have a vodafone pune SIM. Recently i travelled to Kerala. Since i reached Kerala my number is not working. I am not able toreceive calls or make any calls. I've called the vodafone care sveral times. They had assured me that they'll resolve the issue within 48 hours and that they'll call me back. But despite many calls to vodafone the issue was not solved. The customer care proved to be very indifferent and inefficient. They didn't call me back nor did they resolve the issue.

                                Hi,

I made an application for a new number on 13th Aug 2008 and till date (19/Aug/2008) the account is not yet activated.

The calls made to vodafone care are of no use. They cannot resolve the issue ... they either say some one will get in touch with you within 2 hours and NOBODY does OR they say call after some time.

                                Very bad service.

                                Vinod
I bought a new connection from a local vodafone store in India. The connection was activated and they sent some verification representative to my permanent home. My mother told them that I am working in a different city and come back on weekends. My connection was disconnected for this reason. I was again offered a connection and after verification it was disconnected as they found some balance owing on a previous number. When I went to the store they realized that rather vodafone owed me money for that account.
Now I gave up and tried to get a connection from the city I work on. The number was activated and after the verification they again suspended it on the basis that I am living in a bachelor accommodation. This is the most ridiculous thing I have heard in my life. Is being bachelor a crime now??
Well, I think Vodafone is discriminating on the basis of martial status which is a crime in India and they should be aware of whats going on and its consequences.

I have been a vodafone customer for ages (previously BPL and thereafter Hutch). But it seems vodafone is loosing the customer touch altogether. I have applied twice for a connection in the past 15 days and I am still not getting one. The reason cited - Verification is pending. I do not understand how a simple verification cannot be carried out even in 15 days of time! This inspite of the fact that I already hold a vodafone number in the bangalore circle.

I have repeatedly called the vodafone customer service as well as the vodafone store in Camp but to no avail. The response I have received have been vague and ridiculous.

I hope vodafone is listening to customers problems.

Vodafone — New Connection Number not given as per agreed with executive

I was provided a new number by the VODAFONE executive and same was confirmed when I was signing up the Form and giving my documents. The executive also took Rs 250 as security deposit. After 3 days the vodafone executives call me and told that the agreed number is given to some one else and you will have to take up another new number instead. I asked for the refund but they are not giving me refund for the security deposit
Vodafone new connection service is not good, if any one is going for new connection for vodafone(espacially whitefield branch), avoid going there, i have applied in april 18th-2011 and till[protected] it is not activated.
even though i have visited personally two times to their store there is no use

                                Hi Sir / Ma'am,

This is to inform you I, Supam Das havebeen using vodafone no. [protected]
since July 2003 and I am very upset with the way customer is treated though
being loyal to the service provider.

The problem is I have taken a new connection (VMC @ 450) for my ipad under
the MDN no. 8447XXXX51, ESN no.[protected], CAF no. 83842003
on Friday 22nd of June 2011.

I had provided my passport copy and pan no.to the executive. The executive
was sent by the voadafone new connection department. I had told the
customer care executive (New connection department) that I don't have a
photo at the moment. He said I will get the photo collected later you just
provide me the documents. As per the conversation I submitted the documents
to collector except the photo, which was to be collected later. Neither
your executive sent a collector to collect the photo nor my connection is
                                activated till now.

The best part your customer care unit is not even ready to take a complain
nor polite to help me out with the problem. My 1st call was @ june 25, 2012
11:44 pm, call duration 16 minutes approx. I humbly asked to get me to a
senior executive, he kept me on hold for almost 10 mins and never took my
                                call again.

The 2nd call was @ June 26, 2012, 12:01 AM, The customer care executive
name was *ANKUR SINGH, *well he was impolite and rude. I asked him why my
connection was not activated. He said it's not yet been registered. I asked
him why don't you take a request or complain to look into this issue. He
became rude and stubborn, I asked please let me talk to a senior, his reply
"senior se baat karni hain toh kar lijiye". I asked him why he is being
rude his answer was "Meri awaaz aisi hi hain". Sorry to say that was not a
right way to address the customer and kept on repeating you have to go to
the store. He didn't let me talk to the senior. Why the senior person at
the duty was not willing to talk.

PS.: both the calls were made from mobile no. 9811XXXX68, Registered in
                                name of Supam Das.

If I had to go to the store then why do you sent executive to collect
documents with half knowledge. And same goes for your customer care service.
                                * THEY ARE NOT HAPPY TO HELP. They are rather unhappy with calls.*

All in all if I would have been told on Friday 22nd of June 2011 itself
that I have to go to a vodafone store to take a new connection, I would
prefer that. But after all the documentation done and waiting for 4 days.I
was being told that you need to go to vodafone store doesn't make any sense.

No one wants to take an effort of sorting out things rather making it
complicated. Please see to the matter. If I have to run around then what
is the use of customer care, collector to collect the documents. In the end
of the day I have been asked to visit the store. Don't you think you need
to look into your processes first.

Hope I was as polite as I could writing this mail. I hope you will help me
sorting the issue rather juggling the issue.

                                Thanks,

And below is the reply I got, When the number is not activated how can I send a SMS to register my email id from the inactive mobile no.?? I am amazed.

The Vodafone India Ltd., or should I say - Beggars and looters - have after more than 30 days (2nd complaint dated 15-Nov-2012 Ref.: [protected] Ashraf Shaikh) have not been able to tell me why local SMS's to Vodafone number (free to me as per plan) are charged to me at Rs. 5/- as International SMS's.
(This was brought to their notice 1st time almost 2 months back). Next bill they continued to do so.
The CBI (Central Bureau of Investigations) has filled charge sheet against Vodafone in an alleged conspiracy.
They might need to pay hefty charges to the Govt., hence they are charging and billing subscribers wrongly. Otherwise I do not understand why they continue to send me same wrong charges in second bill in row and not even tell me why they are doing so. (Hope they just don't tell me - its a server problem or a technical problem) hahahahaa.

Did not call them for 3 weeks expecting to get some reply from them. But only if they (Vodafone people) were humane.
Anyways, I don't expect them to improve. Their 1st level Call center is pathetic to understand issues. 'n' number of calls has not made any impact. Has any subscriber contemplated filing a case in consumer court? I have a solid case. Need assistance.

This bill they charged me for Vodafone Live. Already have Blackberry plan activated. Their technical data department tells me that the service (Vodafone Live) is not active on my number. Still they charge for it.
MONEY IS SO IMPORTANT TO BIG CORPORATIONS (and to all, actually) . IN WHICH EVER FORM IT COMES. BE IT WRONG CHARGES IN BILL AND NOT REVERSE OR COMPENSATE THE SUBSCRIBER.

                                      My name is Huned ali.
                                      My phone number is 9099xxxxx6.

I have been using this particular Vodafone number for the past one and half years.

In the previous month’s bill I have been unduly charged for the internet services that I did not use.

I gave a request to activate my 3G plan on 23rd November, but as per Vodafone’s records it was activated on the 26th of November 2012. The charges are being levied on me for using approx 2GB of data in 2G for a period of two days i.e. 23rd and 24th November.
What I do not get is that how can I have used so much data in a span of only two days over a 2G connection as I did not download anything. Also as per the data tracking device on my phone it shows that I have been using my data plan for only aprrox 120mb usage from 21st November to 21st December 2012.

I spoke to the customer care department over the phone and in person 3-4 times but there has been no positive response from their end.
They are not ready to accept that it might have been a mistake from their end and are trying to charge me excessively for no particular reason.

In hope of being served proper justice.

                                      Regards,
                                      Huned

I ([protected]) switched to Vodafone from Airtel almost 6 monthes back withe a believe theat i will be given better services, but it ruins my expectations.

I own a corporate plan on my number withe a data plan of [protected]@98 Rs. Unfortunately, I lost my phone and i temporarily inserted my new SIM (which i got from Vodafone Store) in Blackberry Handset.

I was using thee default services on my BB handset witheout using any Blackberry Application. I was just browsing therough Internet using default settings and BB browser assuming theat my existing packet data plan is still working.

I was shocked after receiving my BILL which carries almost Rs 800 charges of Internet. I called up customer care, followed up on email, visited Vodafone Store (Lazpat nagar) but theey all seems to defend theere point witheout listening to my view point. They all said in rude tone theat your amount will not be refunded and i am charged correctly.
