The Vodafone India Ltd., or should I say - Beggars and looters - have after more than 30 days (2nd complaint dated 15-Nov-2012 Ref.: [protected] Ashraf Shaikh) have not been able to tell me why local SMS's to Vodafone number (free to me as per plan) are charged to me at Rs. 5/- as International SMS's.
(This was brought to their notice 1st time almost 2 months back). Next bill they continued to do so.
The CBI (Central Bureau of Investigations) has filled charge sheet against Vodafone in an alleged conspiracy.
They might need to pay hefty charges to the Govt., hence they are charging and billing subscribers wrongly. Otherwise I do not understand why they continue to send me same wrong charges in second bill in row and not even tell me why they are doing so. (Hope they just don't tell me - its a server problem or a technical problem) hahahahaa.

Did not call them for 3 weeks expecting to get some reply from them. But only if they (Vodafone people) were humane.
Anyways, I don't expect them to improve. Their 1st level Call center is pathetic to understand issues. 'n' number of calls has not made any impact. Has any subscriber contemplated filing a case in consumer court? I have a solid case. Need assistance.

This bill they charged me for Vodafone Live. Already have Blackberry plan activated. Their technical data department tells me that the service (Vodafone Live) is not active on my number. Still they charge for it.
MONEY IS SO IMPORTANT TO BIG CORPORATIONS (and to all, actually) . IN WHICH EVER FORM IT COMES. BE IT WRONG CHARGES IN BILL AND NOT REVERSE OR COMPENSATE THE SUBSCRIBER.

    My name is Huned ali.
    My phone number is 9099xxxxx6.

    I have been using this particular Vodafone number for the past one and half years.

    In the previous month’s bill I have been unduly charged for the internet services that I did not use.

    I gave a request to activate my 3G plan on 23rd November, but as per Vodafone’s records it was activated on the 26th of November 2012. The charges are being levied on me for using approx 2GB of data in 2G for a period of two days i.e. 23rd and 24th November.
    What I do not get is that how can I have used so much data in a span of only two days over a 2G connection as I did not download anything. Also as per the data tracking device on my phone it shows that I have been using my data plan for only aprrox 120mb usage from 21st November to 21st December 2012.

    I spoke to the customer care department over the phone and in person 3-4 times but there has been no positive response from their end.
    They are not ready to accept that it might have been a mistake from their end and are trying to charge me excessively for no particular reason.

      I ([protected]) switched to Vodafone from Airtel almost 6 monthes back withe a believe theat i will be given better services, but it ruins my expectations.

      I own a corporate plan on my number withe a data plan of [protected]@98 Rs. Unfortunately, I lost my phone and i temporarily inserted my new SIM (which i got from Vodafone Store) in Blackberry Handset.

      I was using thee default services on my BB handset witheout using any Blackberry Application. I was just browsing therough Internet using default settings and BB browser assuming theat my existing packet data plan is still working.

      I was shocked after receiving my BILL which carries almost Rs 800 charges of Internet. I called up customer care, followed up on email, visited Vodafone Store (Lazpat nagar) but theey all seems to defend theere point witheout listening to my view point. They all said in rude tone theat your amount will not be refunded and i am charged correctly.

        I am postpaid corporate customer 2009 on words. my plan is using 6000SMS permonth and call charges as 600mini free with CUG. TRAI announced the SMS BlackOut Days on12Aug2010 so my network announce for corporate postpaid to limit the SMS 3000 perday 100sms but not applicable for SMS charge on black out day for corporate customer this information collect after discuss to my customer care when I saw the alert SMS. but this year before dewali i saw the same ALERT SMS as usual but not mention corporate customer also applicable. So i did’t care the sms, i thought previous year as usual alert sms so i used several SMS on dewali and before dewali but we celibate only one day the dewali some corporate no holiday also. but this vodafone fellows all the sms on both days charged with out my knowledge. After i shock see my bill conduct customer care you are in corporate customer so we can not revert this so conduct corpcare.[protected]@vodafone.com. Then they replied levied correctly the SMS charges. What can I do?


        now can i pay or not? please suggest this
        if not how to handle with my network as per law and order

          i am using vodafone prepaiid mobile connection from last two years. But from last two months unwanted subscriptions like online game is started on my phone and amount deducted from main account without my request for any subscrition.
          I want my amount back.
          Before last month i had started internet package for 15 days but after usage i had sent message for cancellation of package so that it cannot be renewed. But even after that my is subscription is renewed and again i sent message for cancellation but next time it is again renewed. This happens three times and amount is deducted every time. I had all messages. That why i am filing complaint.

          Vodafone — Unwanted Deduction of amount

          I am having Vodafone connection No:[protected], Name: Syed Kasim. I'm facing some difficulties in some situation. I listed below.

          1. Not easy to call Customer Care Executive
          2. When I want I'm recharging the Bonus card, but it is deducting every month. This one suffers me a lot. I lost my money in that.

          For example,

          Lost month(December 2008) I recharged SMS card(Rs 49) then I realised to jump All In One offer, then I recharged with All In One card(Rs 69) this month (January 2009). For talk time I recharged with Rs 201. When I check my balance it is showing Rs 49 less and I got a message that indicating it is monthly deduction. Really I'm fed with this and try to call Customer care then I'm not getting connection.

          I am one of your valued customers having mobile connection No:[protected]; for the last 1 year.

          Yesterday evening at 8.18 PM, I have received one SMS from your number 56789 that "you have successfully activated your callertune service" without any communication from my side.

          Immediately I have seen the message, and sent my reply to the above number "I have not activated the caller tune, please cancel immediately"., which was returned by the same saying that "Hello! you have entered the wrong keyword, please enter the desired key word and SMS to 56789".

          At 9.20 PM I received again another message from 56789 that caller tune has been set for 90 days, which is also not desired by me. I checked up the balance immediately, and it was abruptly deducted, and kept at minimum.

          I tried to contact the same to 56789 several times, but I could not.

          Under the circumstances, may I request you to instruct the concerned not to activate the caller turne, and credit to my account the unwanted deduction immediately ????

          I have no option except to cancel my connection, or to go for an appropriate forum for redressal of my grievance.

            I have observed that the company is charging illegally by sending flash SMS..... by this they have deducted Rs.250 from my balance....if they get Rs250 from 1 consumer they would be earning in millions from all the customers.

            This has to be taken seriously and TRIA should fine such service providers.

            I have logged the complaint but still no reply from Vodafone.

            VODAFONE if very DISTURBING.I have a vodafone number [protected].Vodafone people keep sending me flash messages saying some service offers, Bad thing is they send 2 to 3 messages per minute and 24X7. Because of this itself my mobile battery drains in half day. I registered a complaint on 3/april/2011, Till now it is not stopped. If this is not stopped in a week I will change to Airtel.

              I am vodafone customer with mobile no. [protected]. I checked my best offer from *121# in that 5th option show 1gb data in Rs 25. when i get inside it show to Get 1GB data at Rs25 for 15days press 1 to activate. when i pressed 1 to activate at that time Rs51 balance is cut instead of Rs25.Here i attached screen shoot of your special offer also.

              So please refund my Rs26 to my balance as early as possible.

                  I am a suffering Vodafone customer. I applied for MNP and my number was duly ported but after two days of porting my services were cut off without any prior notification.

                  The reason given to me was that address verification was not successful, and that was because I have recently shifted my home during the time number was being ported.

                  I have been to two Vodafone stores (Noida & Indirapuram) five times but every single time I get to hear new document requirements and the documents I bring are rejected. Every single representative tells a different story.

                  As I have recently shifted, no bills or address proofs are available to me. But still I went to BSNL office to get an advance bill for my landline phone so that I can submit it to Vodafone but that was also not accepted by the representatives as the bill was in the name of my father.

                  Then I was asked to bring my company's ID card and address on official letterhead along with a copy of my passport. My company does not issue ID cards therefore I was asked to bring Salary slip. When I bought these documents, these were rejected on two grounds

                  1. Company ID is required (even though I was asked to bring salary slip)
                  2. Letterhead is not colored and on bonded paper (RIDICULOUS, my company issues letterhead on plain A4 paper)

                  None of the employees at the Vodafone stores have any knowledge of the procedures or requirements whatsoever. At the Noida Sector 18 store, Dheeraj & Richa handled my case and continuously misguided me. Finally, I went to see store manager Sangeeta, who rejected the company letterhead based on the ridiculous reasoning mentioned above. Any documents in the name of my father were rejected even though I stressed over and over that BLOOD RELATION documents are accepted even by the government of India.

                  So, all in all my service is still blocked and my number is out of service. I am using that number from almost 4 years and switching to Vodafone was my biggest adult life mistake ever as the inconvenience I am facing cannot be described in words. I have even paid a security amount of Rs. 250.

                  No customer care employee or vodafone store employee is being able to help me.

                  I do not recommend Vodafone to anybody.

                    I searched for the 3G Data plans on www.vodafone.in and found 103 Rs. Mobile 3G Internet Plan which gives 300 MB 3G data.

                    However, when I recharged my account with 103 Rs., it was treated as a normal recharge and I didn't receive any Internet package and I already had enough balance in my account. My transaction ID is MU[protected].

                        22 july sombody just take out my mobile near about 10:15 pm n from 22 july i trying to contact to coustomer care for traceing my number [protected] bt not block bt i am not able to contact to coustomer care becaue you are not giving option for direct talking or complaint.

                            I had taken a prepaid no during Dec 2011. During theat time I had submitted my Identity & Address proofs. The number was activated and it was going smoothe till Nov 2012. From 5the Nov 2012 onwards I decided to change thee connection to POST PAID. All troubles start from theere. Company asked me all documents again. I submitted and service got activates. After few days thee SIM got unregistered. After enquiring theey mentioned address verification issue. I visited thee store supplied all documents and activated thee service. This time theey activated thee number in my fatheer's name. After few days again service got deactivated. After enquiring theey asked for my documents and I submitted for thee theird time. They promised theis time onwards theere wont be any issue. My my first monthe, thee billed amount was Rs.280/- and I paid Rs.400/- one week before thee due date. I was afraid of discontinuation of service because of non-payment of bill. Once again today on 19the Dec 2012 I noticed thee same problem. I AM NOT SURE ON WHAT BASIS THEY ARE VERIFING THE DATA.(HOW THE NUMBER GO ACTIVATED IN MY FATHER'S NAME????). THE DATA ENTRY OPERATORS ARE NOT WELL EDUCATED. THE AGENTS COMING FOR VERIFICATION ARE NOT WELL TRAINED TO DO PROPER VERIFICATION. LASTLY VODAFONE IS NOT ALERTING THE COSTOMERS BEFORE DISCONTINUING THE SERVICE. I called thee customer care at morning 8:30 a.m. and requested to activate thee number till thee shop opens (11:00 a.m.) so theat I can visit and look in to thee issue. But I got a sweet reply... i.e. Sorry sir. PLEASE HELP WHY A CUSTOMER WOULD SUFFER WITHOUT ANY FAULT THAT TO THREE TIMES IN A SPAN OF 4-5 WEEKS. - Tarang

                              I visited the Vodafone galary in November regarding High Bill, they advised me to write email to the Corporate ID and i did that on 9th Nov'12.
                              their turn around time is 72 hours.
                              No reply till date i have sent 5 different emails and visited the galary 5 times no help and no resolution yet.
                              And still i have pad 1500 two times and this month i paid 2000 wherein my average bill is approx 1200.

                              And now they have started disconnecting my service every week just to harras me, even after me giving standing instructions not to do that.
                              as i havent stopped paying the bill. And now they are admonth on me paying the entire bill and the services will be activated later.

                              Which means if they send me a bill of 10K and i dispute they will not listen to me till i pay 10K.
                              I think they should start asking for money instead of cheating and harrsing will be happy to do charity.

                              And the worst thing is they have these email addresses but none of the higher official is notified when anyone sends an email.

                                Please know that you can subscribe for prepaid call details. For that SMS ACTBILL to 144. E.g: ACT Bill to 144. You will be charged an amount of Rs. 49/- per month per bill.

                                  I am arun from bangalore . My number was [protected] and I ported from idea to vodafone on 05 nov but the port was not happen to given sim and name . When i contacted vodafone store they told me that we cant do any thing . i wrote a complaint vodafone customer care but they are replied my mail once after that i sent 03 mails but i not get single reply . if i called to customer care no one was replying properly . and the number was using by someone else .
