I have been writing to vodafone for giving me false information and no action has been taken as of now :
Writing series of events that happened
This is i guess 3rd or 4th time i am writing to you,No action has been taken and i am not satisfied with your response,Here i am writing series of events:
1)I get my 3g rs 250 plan which gives me 1GB data,i call 1st week of oct to conform with the customer care executive, he tells me the plan is active and i am pleased to inform you sir that we are giving 1gb free with 1 gb ,i conform are you sure i will get 2 GB 3G data with my Rs250 plan he replies ,Yes SIR
2) I get my bill and see i have not been given 1GB data and rs 133 have been charged for excess use, i login a complaint there and then, i get a call back from vodafone complaint dept within 3 days,i tell him about what vodafone customer care executive said and the complaint dept executive disconnects, i didn't get any call regarding what solution has been done.
3) I write again 3 times but the complaint is closed on checking on my vodafone status, without any action 3 times
4) Then i write to appellate dept
5) Then i call vodafone customer-care dept talk to the executive tell him my complaint ,he tells me that there is an error from vodafone's end and the extra charge will be reversed and i will be getting 1GB free with 1 GB ,Here are details of that call with the executive
Name of exec- ashish dalwai, call time and date- 13:11 and 16/11/2012 Complaint no-[protected]
6)Then i get a call from appellate dept telling me we are sorry but you havent been charged anything extra and you will be given 1gb only with rs 250 plan
now what do i do with the executives tell me that ? how do i trust them the information they are providing is not false, rs 130 extra is not a big amount,But what if i would have used thinking i have 1gb free (then as per extra charges my bill would have been 1024x2=2048 rs) i wouldn't have been able to pay that amount just because your customer care executives misguided me.
Tell me a good reason why i shouldn't go to a consumer court and file a complaint for false promise,misguiding customers and not solving the problem faced

    I have an connection with vodafone [protected] . During the bill for the month of November 2012, an amount of Rs.1702/- is being raised which was an shet ock to me. I raised the issue with the company for explanation. On my repeated request the amount of Rs.1300/- appox charged under the head of mobile internet services is not requested/concurrened by me for services. In return mail it has been communicated that for promotion services we charged actual and raised amount is appropriate and verified by them.

    my compaint is how an services get initiated without the consent of the subscriber and charged accordingly.

    Kindly take up my isssue for solution by insturcting vodafone to revert the expenses. It is not out of context that disputed bill amount is already deposited with service provider in order to avail services unintrupted and approved for disconnection of services due to non payment of the bill .

      To get a detailed bill, please SMS BILL(space)FIRST THREE LETTERS OF THE MONTH to 144. For example, for the month of July, please send BILL JUL to 144. The charges for the same are Rs 49/- per month per bill.

        My complaint is that i cannot even call some my fnds number on some time.i already call your customer for several times.they said there is no problem in their system.but am asking that if my frnds number is out of coverage area or even switched off i cant call them from another number.ok and some times my frnds got some sms even without knowing me.i reported this for several times even if my problem cannot get solved.i already worked before in your organization,if your are doing to me like this then how you can solve others problems and my balance is going down with out knowing me.i think my phone has some mistake so that i changed my phone,still this problem is occurring,what i want to do know.plz take it as seriously and plz monitor that if anyone is entering your site or plz monitor that some one hacking or not.make it to solve this problem as soon as quickly.its a request.iam using this sim more than 2 years..iam working as marketing head in kozhikode so many of my customers is calling to this number,so plz take it as seriously and make a solution for these problems.first i used nokia 6300 at that time in my phone internet is working automatically,so i changed the phone to other now iam using local set still it is showing so many problems like this iam asking that what i want to do now.i changed even so many phones.

          I shifted from airtel to vodafone about 6 months back. my plan details are 500 rs monthly renta(postpaid)l..500 mb of 3g usage, 1100 mins of local and std mins and 500 sms..roam like home offer where in im not charged roaming for anywhere in Maharashtra...In my current bill of 2261, my total mins used is 1391 mins(that is 291 mins in excess of 1100 mins). so ideally i should be charged 145.5(291 x 0.50/min)..but they have charged my 450 rupees for the extra usage. Secondly, they have charged me 350 for roaming, when I never went out of Maharashtra, and they are not willing to accept their mistake. I have paid the bill but Cant let these cheats go scot free. I request you to help me out on this one.

          I have got message from vodafone Mah circle informing me that they will charge Re 1 for local, Re 1.5 for STD smses, I would like to inform you that I have postpaid connection under which my sms tariff is only 30p for both local and STD and I have first 150 msgs are free .When I contacted vodafone customer care they told me this is as per TRAI guideline can you Please tell me

          These Guys are overcharging a lot on the names of value added services and hats off to the poor customer care. They are not there to support you. Even their postpaid services sucks. So poor retention team u wont imagine.

              Hi..
              I am having vodafone prepaid connection and I am using Internet in that. I have done online recharge on 25th November which is the last day for my Internet pack for Rs. 147 (2GB Internet pack). Very next day my Internet disconnected. When I check the balance it is in negative. I called customer care regarding this, they told it is auto renewal mode. I just can't understand what is that "Auto renewal mode". It is just a reason to make people fool by telling some technical words. Then I argued with them that where is the amount (Rs. 147) for which I have recharged. Finally they said they will credit this amount in my account within 48 hrs, but till now it is not done. I am totally dissatisfied with the customer service. Moreover that stupid customer service guy took nearly 30 minutes which is chargeable. Please help in this regard.

                I am a Vodafone user my no. is [protected], Vodafone has charged me
                huge internet bill of Rs. 5000/- for which when I have complained to
                them, they simply said that they can not reverse it and don't even
                bothered to check in there systems for any problems, and i am sure
                they are having some issue, and that I need to pay the complete bill,
                As per them I have used 3 GB of data transfer in the month of
                October. But when I checked my mobile phone for internet usage it says
                only 3.1 GB for download and 500 MB for upload. and the billed usage
                for last month from there side which was for the month of September I
                had used 1.8 GB, it is my mistake that I have not checked my last
                month bill clearly and paid them the whole amount. The question is if
                I have used almost 5 GB in 2 Months then why my mobile is showing me
                only 3.1 GB o[censored]sage. When asked the same question to Vodafone guys
                they say that it may be problem with my phone, I am not sure then how
                come it showed me the right usage other time.

                I am using a plan of 1.5 GB of internet usage on 3G for Rs 375/- and
                my previous bills has never gone above this.

                Request you to please look into this.

                  invoice and as per data plan free usages discount has been calculated.

                  i want to inform you that a person can listen conversation of any call between two persons provided he/she is having both numbers of two callers, by connecting it through internet through idea website. this is totally illegal and against the privacy of caller.

                  Vodafone — charged me around Rs.800 for 15 minutes internet usage

                  I ([protected]) have used internet for the facebook browsing from 4.30Pm to 4.45pm on 02/10/2011,then I stopped browsing and check my balance it was around 225.
                  next day ie 03/10/2011 when I try to call my friend it was saying that there is no balance,when I checked the balance it was -530.
                  I got shocked and called CCare more than 10 times and got 10 different responses from each of them.
                  1 is telling that you have used internet from 4.30PM to 8am morning next day,
                  other saying different story that you have used internet 4.30pm to 6pm ,then 6.30pm to 8pm,then 8pm to 2am...

                  There are many answers ,from this I can tell that you are doing cheating nothing else.

                  and Its waste of time and money to call your customer care center,even you are charging for that.
                  people please do not use vodafone.and I request Vodafone,Please do not cheat people.

                    sir, my vodafone number [protected] is charged 1240Rs in feb bill for ISD calls but I not do any ISD CALLS and I want to change my podafone number into postpaid but vodafone is saying that you cant change in prepaid I have only way to go in consumer forum thanks RAM DIXIT
                    I have three numbers of vodafone on my name. That is Navil Peer My Number is [protected]. This Numbers are Post paid connections, registered under group talk plan. Ever since from 1st month i have disputes over extra charges of late payment and silimar in every bill cycle. I have complained many times in Vodafone store Mulund, but no proper action has been taken. Last month I requested them to convert this numbers into Prepaid but due to some extra charges I was asked to convert it into Prepaid in next bill cycle. Today when i cleared all disputes they are now saying it can be done only on next bill cycle and not in between. Moreover in Mulund Vodafone store the store Manager is never availabe. I have noticed this more than 5 times when I went to pay the Bill
                    They keep on changing their rules and regulations on their own causing problems to the customer.

                      My vodafone number is [protected]. I had used my debit card to recharge my vodafone prepaid of Rs 1001/- on 26.11.12 and the balance got deducted from ny account but I did not got any topup. I also complaint in vodafone call centre and every time i call up they say it will be credited back into my account in 5 working days.

                      again on 01.12.12 i used my debit card to recharge my vodafone perpaid of Rs 555/- and the balance got deducted from ny account but I did not got any topup.

                      Im hoping that amount of RS 1556/- for both the transaction is credited back into my account.

                      i recieved a message from your message centre in which a promotional offer recharge 888 and get 915 tt.but i recharge on 26th june transcation id 03039.but i get only 191 tt and one year validity even i have already life time validity.i talked many times to customer care but no response.please provide me additional talk time otherwise i will have to go consumer court.my vod. number is [protected]

WHY? please reply as soon as.

                          This is the first time I am writing a complaint for any service provider. I have been using Airtel since years now and I haven’t got any problem with them so far. I started using one more number that my company (Dell Services) provided me and my number [protected] is a corporate number. I was not in Delhi and India for few months and I wasn’t able to make my payment of Rs. 1800 however as soon as I came back to Delhi I made a payment of Rs. 2064 from my credit on my number [protected] but now Vodafone is not releasing my number as they said its a VIP number and now they cannot give me my number back. What sort of service provider they are? I want to use my number and they are not releasing my number and asking for money to give me my number back. How does it make sense? When the payment was made on to their store in CP they said yes its under my name and 2064 is the amount that is due after the late charges therefore I made my payment with my late charges. PLEASE HELP ME TO GET MY NUMBER BACK AS ITS REALLY IMPORTANT FOR ME AND MY WORK AS ITS A CORPORATE NUMBER AND ALL MY CLIENTS HAS THAT NUMBER NOW. I HAVE BEEN FACING THIS PROBLEM SINCE A MOTH NOW THATS WHY I AM COMPLAINING.

                            my mob plan is post paid 99 rental which has taken from 21/11/2012 of this month for mob no.[protected]. i strongly regret to tell you that since last four days your all executive on 111,198,117 are just fooling me regarding activation of CLIP and SMS service. This is very shame-fool for Vodafone that for customer like us who have your service since last 15 years are getting such harassment merely for a plan change. At last i am compelled to lodge a complaint against your very very poor service. Also i think your network is not in need of customers.. I really regret for service provided by your executives. Please resolve the matter at top priority if possible or else i would like to close my connection with your company.

                              I subscribed to try Vodafone 3G by paying 101Rs (for 300MB) which is valid for 30 days. Right from the time i registered, Vodafone tech support was so bad that they could not help get the settings done for my HTC phone. Being an engineer i figured it out myself!! ... (Guys you are decade away from where we are, i guess Vodafone tech can still only support Nokia 1100)...

                              This 3G that they promise is a BIG SCAM. they do not have network of 3G in most of the areas and rarely switches from 2G to 3G! ... Most of the places it runs in 2G and the money is absolutely not worth!!...

                              Since yesterday eve (29th Nov 2012) the 3G is not working and the mobile is failing to connect to internet. Customer care team is replying that "there is a problem sir we cant help it" ... when i ask if my validity will be extended for a day then they have No answer for it! ...
                              I would want to know why Vodafone is cheating ppl giving 2G (90% of time time) in the name of 3G charging more money from the customer.

                              The network dropping in 3G is also sooo bad that my i have missed many calls just because i subscribed to 3G!! .. i am never going to subscribe to 3G again and soon i am thinking of changing the network provider!! ...

                                even after applying for a bbm package of 399 which includes internet and bbm usage with the email accounts,there has been a deduction of 300rs in the accounts not at one shot but at several times in the name of SESSIONS cost,at an average of 3rs per deduction.I would have left it had i used the internet,but even without a usage there has beeen a deduction and i hereby want my money credited back to my number asap.

                                    Vodafone is looting people in the name of mobile internet. I am a new vodafone customer. Recently I used the internet connection on my mobile, without any plan activated. I got shocked by seeing the bill amount for this. I had used a internet data usage of 200MB, and it costed me around 2000/-.

                                    What kind of pathetic billing is that..?? All the plans has some limit of the data usage, and after that only they charge 10p/10KB. But for me they charged directly 10p/10KB. But I enquired in the vodafone care, they told negligently that they cannot help me on this.

                                    Horrible billing. They just want to loot people on any grounds. I am going to change to the operator, who will provide me the proper way of billing.

                                    I bought vodaphone connection few days back. By morning I got 2 messages that 'caller filter service' has been activated on your phone and 99 rupees has been charged!!! I called consumer service and they said that I will get my money back after 2 days. After waiting for 4 days, I called again, only to know that I should have deactivated the service within 24 hours of activation by send message on *514#, fact which they should have told me on the very first day, and now it is too late for the refund. I will suggest only one thing...Don't use vodaphone, they are looting people.
                                    I had already logged the complaint in Vodafone site. My mobile number is [protected].

                                      I am a Vodafone postpaid customer, Bangalore. I was shocked when I got huge amount of bill Rs.1500. When I called and asked custmer care, everybody told that is because of my too much local calls. I spoke to 3 customer care executives and all three said same. But later, by itemized bill I came to know that it was because of Vodafone Live!!

                                      I am charged 659 rupees extra due to Vodafone Live!. I never told anybody to activate it in my mobile. If you say it is basic service in mobile, why customer care executives or vodafone care executives are not informing about this service?

                                      This is very wrong and I am unhappy with those who says "Happy to help you". Without my knowledge this was active. Even when I asked vodafone care they did not tell me about Vodafone Live.
                                      I do not want to pay for Vodafone Live! service which was active without my knowledge.

                                        I am a customer to vodafone. I ported to vodafone expecting that services will be better than my former service provider but i am sorry to say that i am very-very unhappy and disappointed.

                                        I am using a blackberry bold -2 [9700] model and have activated the bls plan [399] on 25th oct, 12 but till date i am not able to utilize any of the bb services. My main balance is being regularly deducted automatically irrespective o[censored]sage.

                                        I talked with vodafone customer care agents several times and for hours spending my time and money. Escalated the matter to their managers even but all was waste to me. I was provided a ticket number too which is[protected] which is useless for me.
                                        Now for the last few days, whenever i call any of the vodafone customer care numbers ie; 111, 198 or [protected] but i am not routed to the customer care agents which has actually irritated me a lot. I have spent the money and still not able to have the benefits.

                                        I sent an escalation mail to vodafone nodal centres and customer care and in response i received a call from some mr. Hrehan who took few details from me and promised that i, ll be receiving a call the same day but more than a week has passed, no call.

                                        If someone can help me here, i, ll be very thankful.

                                        I have been following up with Vodafone for my statement since last 1 month it has been 1 month and i have almost called 8-9 times for the same and every time they take a req and no action is taken .Every time I call and ak them to connect call to thier manager they keep on long hold and even if i leave a message they dont call back i have been put on hold for more than half n hr i have also approached thier nodal officer and have not received any revert from them .This shows how much vodafone care abt customers and customer service Its been a pathetic experience with them.

                                        I applied for activation of my vodafone blackberry services on the 20th of April, 2011 which was supposed to get activated within 4 hours the same day. My problem has not been resolved till date i.e., 26th of April. I have called up at the vodafone customer care end number of times. They always keep me on hold for a long time. i asked for my money refund but they refused to listen. i launched a complain on the 21th April,2011.
