Hi
I have a “Talk Wipro 199 CUG” corporate plan (Wipro BPO) since 2008 which is effectively a zero rental plan with unlimited free CUG. In October 2012, I planned on moving to another service provider since I needed a plan with better rates for STD calls so I sent a request for MNP. The next day, I got a call from Vodafone's Customer retention team stating that they can offer me a 149 talk special plan with CUG for Wipro BPO intact. Two days later, when I followed up with Vodafone’s customer care they informed me that the plan would be effective 14th Nov without CUG. On knowing this, I felt lied to and informed corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com that I only want the change in plan if it had CUG otherwise I don’t want a plan change. To this, Harmeet Kaur, representative from corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com responded on 19th October, and I quote-
“Thank you for writing to Vodafone regarding the tariff plan change on your Vodafone mobile number 9711****940.
We would like to inform you that as per our records when our specialized Vodafone care team called you and informed you about the 149 monthly rental plan, they have also informed you that in this plan we are not offering CUG services, that time you have denied for this same plan.
We would also like to inform you that after your denial we have not forwarded your request for the tariff plan change to 149 special plan on your Vodafone number.
Further we would like to inform you that as per the corporate deal with your organization we are not offering this same plan. If you will go with this plan the CUG services get deactivate on your number.”
On 14th Nov, 2012, I shockingly discovered that my bill plan was changed to 149 special talk plan against my wishes and without my consent/approval. When I wrote back to corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com they reverted on 18th Nov, 2012 and I quote Vodafone representative Roshy Varghese –
“Further, we would like to inform you that the conversations from our specialized Vodafone care team in telephonic was done on dated 19/11/2012 in which you were informed that the we are not offering the CUG services with 149 monthly rental plan, they have also informed you that in this plan we are not offering CUG services, that time you have denied for this same plan but the tariff plan was already activated on your Vodafone account on dated 14/11/2012 hence the 149 Special Plan is still activated on your Vodafone account.”
Do you see how the 2 quoted conversations from Vodafone employees differ? Now, when I demanded that my plan be changed back to the zero rental, free CUG “Talk Wipro 199 CUG plan” I am being told that the plan is no longer available and cannot be provided! I was forced to opt for one of their new plans (against my wishes) but again, they told me that the plan will be effective only from 15th Dec, 2012 and that from 14th Nov – 14th Dec, 2012 I will have to continue with the Talk 149 plan that does not have a free CUG (doesn’t have CUG at all for that matter).
I really want someone to address my plight as I feel lied by and cheated by an organization as big as Vodafone that too considering I’m a subscriber with them for 4 years! So much for being loyal.
I’m writing to you as my last hope and what I am requesting is that my old plan “Talk Wipro 199 CUG plan” continue as is
If this cannot happen, I’m happy to move to another service provider as I’d rather switch services than stay with an organization that lied and cheated.
