I have purchased my Nokia C5-00 mobile in 2011 and recently I have installed MOBITRACKER software from OVI store.
On seeing my last month bill from Vodafone I have found that this software has been trying to send messages from my mobile to the destination numbers almost every consecutive hours.(Even though it is not getting delivered at the destination I am getting changed for these messages.)
Because of this my mobile bill went up by 4 time the usual amount.

I have sent several mails to the Vodafone care asking them to remove the charges since these messages were not delivered, but even now they are charging me which has reached more than Rs.1000.

I need them to revert these charges.

    sir/Mam,
    I am using Vodafone Services through my number [protected]. I recharged my account on[protected] on 12:59pm with Rs 100 and within 2 hrs exactly on 2:05 pm and subsequently on 2:08 pm Rs. 30 for caller Tunes and Rs. 50 for Shuffle services has been deducted. i tried to complain through their toll free services to Vodafone Complaint department but to my surprise i found on dialing 198 their is no such provision for registering the toll free complaint. I called up their other complaint center which is not toll-free still they refused to register my complain and asked me to call after 1 hour so that they can connect me to their senior officer. Not only such deductions are arbitrary, they are unfair to such consumers who are still students like me. Moreover after every call the USSD are not supposed to show any VAS activating number, (as according to the consumer handbook on telecommunication available at http://www.trai.gov.in/WriteReadData/userfiles/file/measuresto%20protectconsumer... , viewed on[protected] : 3:13 pm) however they put such advertisements and these are very disturbing since their is the chance of wrongly pressing them. Moreover they do not have a compulsory toll free complaint service. 198 IVRS service is just a hoax because after you dial it they do not ahve any provision to register your complaint.
    VAS can be charged to the customer only after getting verifiable confirmation from the consumer within 24 hours of activation of VAS through consumer originated SMS, e-mail, fax or letter. If no confirmation is received, within 24 hours, the VAS has to be deactivated without any cost to the consumer. but no such procedure has been followed in this case. Hence i want my immediate deactivation in this matter and refund of my money.

Again I had to visit thee vodafone store again on 17/11/2012 because thee incoming calls were coming as 'Unknown' and was informed theat thee document I submitted is not updated in thee system. So, in thee evening theat problem solved. I was getting thee numbers for thee incoming calls.

      And today 19/11/2012 all incoming outgoing calls blocked.Please help me it is urgent.

      Vodafone — Incoming/outgoing call is not going

      I have a bought a new sim card with proper address proof details.
      But even then my subscription has been cancelled. Y?
      When said to customer care, they said that they will activate it again intoday morning. but has not been activated stiil.

        I am the retailer of Vodafone at Bundi. Distributor of bundi irritate to put balance in lapu sim(e top up sim). He pressure us to make new activitation or port into vodafone. It is affecting our vodafone customers as i am not unable to serve due to distributor neglection.

        Plz take it at priority and quick action so that our vodafone customer could not be suffer. Plz acknowledge the mail easily.

              Sir, I recharged my this Vodafone number with 50rs E TOPUP at 16th NOV 2012 and at 17th of NOV 2012 i saw a msg found in my mobile which might came last night after 50-60min when i recharged my mobile with that 50rs E-topup that msg says i was charged with 30rs for some JOKE PACK!!!?

              i was so angry and i tried to connect with Customer care but i could not!! then last night(17th of NOV 2012) i recharged again with 50rs E-topup and now i just saw i am low in balance!!! why!!!!?

              becoz it means it was "Illegal balance Deduction by Vodafone" 2 times in last 2 days and i don't even know WHY THEY DO THIS THING ALL THE TIME...becoz it happens a lot with people...
              anyway!!!

              I WANT MY REFUND ASAP before i recharge again and suffer Illegal balance Deduction by Vodafone AGAIN!!!!!!!

              Vodafone — balence reduction

              i am pawan kumar.. i am using vodafone in delhi & ncr region & my number is [protected] & on 2 september i made a reharge of rupees 50 & den i made call for 4 min & suddenly my balence went in minus ...I dnt how did it happnd??...& wen i tried to talk wid vodafone customer care.. i [censored] get through d vodafone customer care still after a 12 hrs....

              Vodafone — Unlawful deduction of balance

              Dear Sir,
              Recently Vodafone had internet cards in the market which allowed the user to surf the net unlimited for 3 days or 30 days, on Rs. 14 and Rs. 98 cards respectively. But they withdrew the validity of the cards while they were still in the market. They issued new cards, same price but with a limit of 10 mb and 80 mb respectively, after that it will reduct 10 paise per 10 kb from the balance. Net usage and costs includes both surfing and downloading. While using the card i was surfing the net but when i checked the balance it was minus 314. I was astounded because vodafone did not inform me when reducting from my balance. I complained to vodafone care and they admitted that this was a problem and they had received similar complaints but they could not do anything about my balance. My personal opinion is that this is just a cheap way to cheat customers without their knowing. I hope vodafone will clear my balance. The Vodafone no. is [protected].

              Dear Sir/Madam,
              My name is Toushif Ahmed & my mobile no is [protected]. Yesterday night (30/12/2011), I send a message typed ACT 4 to 144 at 11:20 pm to activate the GPRS data plan of VODAFONE & I got a reply message typed---- ``Dear Customer Rs 4 Daily GPRS Pack with 40 MB Free Surfing activated for your account". Then I start surfing when my mobile main balance was about 63.00 rupees. But after 1 hour, I failed to connect to the Internet. Then I check my balance I found it 00.000. After that, I call to the customer care and they told me that the data plan activate within 4hours and data plan activator will get two messages. But after 16 hours, I still I got 1 message. I also informed about this. Then they transfer my call to their Supervisor. But after some ring, the phone call automatically disconnected. I tried three times but they do the same thing.
              Now I want my 63.00 rupee main balance back. Because the deduction is illegal. So Sir/Madam please help me to get me my 63.00 rupee main balance back. And if there any other way please informe me.

                This is to apprise you that i got a call from Vodafone Kalidas team leader and Sagar Executive has focused me to take Vodafone nos [protected] which is similar to my existing nos. he has send Pankaj to collect my documents and collect 1000/- Rs and will courier the sim card within 48 hrs. Documents have been collected on 12th Nov’12 after calling him he is ignoring my calls and after continuously calling him sometime he pick up my calls and gives false statement that we will get the courier or will send someone at your residence.

                I request you to please look into this matter and give me justice.

                I feel that he had misused my documents and transferred my documents to some other nos to complete their target.

                    This is regarding a complaint of one of your staff Mr. Shukla his mobile # is ([protected]). This person has visited my Home and has told me that Sir your bill payment is pending total value of 5400/- then i have checked the bill and found that there was some late fee charges added in the bill. I just asked him that why the extra charges has been added in the bill and he told me sir if you pay the bill then i will give you a discount of Rs 500/- and i paid him the bill in 2 parts. then my connection has been activated immediatly but later on after 3 - 4days again the connection was disconnected. every day i was calling him and told him that when i have paid the whole amount then why the lines are getting disconnected. the revert which i got from him was "sir hum jaante nahi hai ki kyu wo log disconnect kar rahe hai aur hum abhi aapko kuch der mein bata denge when again i was trying to call him he has switched off his phone.



                    After few days i visited 1 of your vodafone store in Goregaon, n i asked the staff him for the discounted of Rs 500/- which he has promised me to give. I was shocked by his reply ki sir koi discount nahi diya hai. You have to call Mr Shukla for the discount we cant do anything. I have called Mr shukla and asked him that why the discount amount was not deducted from my bill the revert he has given me was ki sir now i am not in that department mera ab interdepartment change ho gaya hai then suddenly there was another guy with the name of Deepak he has started using cheap words like bhosdike, madarchod phone rakh nahi toh maa chod dunga both of them has started giving me bad words. It was the worst experience in my life, i didnt expected this from such a Big Organisation (Vodafone service).



                    I want an Immediate action on this or else i will go to Consumer court & Human rights for insulting me and giving me a bad words. I will not accept any apology i need to know what action you are goingto take against him.

                      I subscribed to unlimited GPRS 2G plan and later called to deactivate my music station and astro pack service I inquired if a 3G plan can work with my existing 2G and the CCE stated yes and activated 1G for 250 3G plan To my shock i get to know that my 2G plan has been deactivated which i subscribed a week ago When i called in and complained on 16th Nov i was assured a resolution by 6 pm that day No calls or resolution till now I walk up to vodafone store in shakti nagar for follow up and no electricity there looked like a fish market Despite paying you guys 750 bucks i have to use data on pay per use the dumb CCE did not know his basics that 3G does not work in my location and activating that pack will kill my 2G plan and the dumb manager who promised me a resolution is forgetful i am copying this compliant on all consumer websites and your Facebook page you guys deserve it my number is [protected]

                          I've been using my vodafone # [protected], since almost 6 months. Since last two months they are charging me heavily, despite the fact that i've an unlimited plan for internet, which is being charged for Rs. 399/month. And as per there bill the excessive charge is for internet, which shouldn't be the case. I should only be charged 399/month for internet usage.

                          The unbilled amount on the 2nd or 3rd day of my bill cycle shoots to around 600/- or more.

                          I have activated the Vodafone Blackberry plan of Rs 2499 for 6 months. The same was expiring in Jan 2012. I received a message in Dec 2011 that my BB plan was about to expire in Jan 12 and if I want to renew the same i should send re-activation message, else Rs 599 per month for BB plan will be charged,.

                          I have sent the re-activation message (for which i got a confirmation also) for activating 2499 bb plan for 6 months. However, they have not activated the said plan and are charging Rs 599 plan since last 3 months. I have saved both the messages also as a proof of the same.

                          I have been using BB plan of Vodafone since last 15 months and ever time they have charged me unnecessary, which they have accepted as well and given me the refund. But this time its too much..
                          Dear Sir,

                          I need your kind intervention to resolve my excessive bill issue from Vodafone Service Provider.

                          I hereby would like to place my complaint against Vodafone that I am using Vodafone No [protected] from more then 8-9 years .
                          My usually invoice comes inbetween Rs. 150/- to Rs. 250/- per month.
                          In the month of April’2013 I received a bill of Rs. 2630/- . It was utter surprise to me. I immediately contacted the local Vodafone store on 3rd April ‘13 who assured me to look into the matter shortly. I again contacted on 6th April, wherein he told me that you have used NET surfing due to which this you got excessive bill amount. Hearing this It was immense surprise to me since I never used NET services from Vodafone as I am using this services from Airtel Prepadi services.
                          Thereafter, I contacted Vodafone customer services they have also replied the same and not ready to listen my concerns.
                          Then I wrote to their Nodal Officer and other authorities to resolve my issues briefing my concerns as under;
                          1. that from last 8-9 years I never ever used this services or not subscribed this services then how come I used NET surfing of Vodafone.
                          2. that I do have record using net thru Airtel since last one year
                          3. that It was no need me to use vodafone net services if I am using other operator services
                          4. that I have not used then how come this bill has been generated

                          “Please note that when I have not subscribed this services how come I use Internet.”
                          I wrote this to all authority of Gujarat and Mumbai Vodafone, unfortunately, either they have not replied or replied with rigid approach that we cannot do anything since you have used NET Surfing.

                          Since my this number is on everyone phonebook so I am going to pay the said amount immediately in fear that they should not stop incoming and outgoing services.

                          In the meantime, I request your good services that please get me justice on aforesaid concerns.

                          I have ported my number from BSNL last month. Recently Vodafone has sent me the bill foe the First month. To my utter surprise I found that you hv billed me for more than Rs. 11500.Of the billed amount, major item was SMS charge totalling more than Rs.10000 . When I pointed it to telephone executive who contacted me foe payment, instead of enquiring into the matter, she presumably barred my number. I am a Govt. Officer serving in Commercial Tax Department in Kanpur as Deputy Commissioner.
                          I am also the State General Secretary of Commercial Tax Officers Association and Vice President Of All India Confederation of Commercial Tax Association (AICCTA). This number of mine is circulated to all Officers in UP as well as all over India. Call Barring by Vodafone, , thus resulting in great hardship to me and irreparable loss to me for which I will seek damages from you. Kindly, look into the matter and respond asap failing which I shall be not left with no other option than to take recourse to take legal action. Also treat it as a legal Notice.

                            Again for the last few days i am facing the same problem...Unjustified balance deductions.....I recharged my no. with Rs 10 and within few seconds my balance was 0.09 paise ..I didnt get any notification or msg regarding the balance deduction

                            After some time again I recharged my no. with Rs 50 and with few minutes my mobile balance balance Rs 38 from Rs 43 and then in the next 3 hours balance got deducted twice i.e from Rs 36 to Rs 20 and the from Rs 20 to Rs 11 without my knowledge...When i called customer care, the executive started arguing and talking rudely ...In the middle of the conversation ,when i was inquiring about the deduction he disconnected my call without even informing...

                            It happening again and again....

                            They still haven't resolved the prev. issue where my balance was deducted in the same manner and rather than accepting their mistake they starting blaming me...





                            i was using blackberry services for which i paid 400 rupees yesterday.Along with this i was having 80 rupees balance in my number but suddenly my bb sevrvices stopped working and whn i checked my balance it was Rs -40(negative Balance)

                            I called customer care and they are putting the blame on me that i had sent mms to people..Even if i had messaged ,how did the balance reached Rs -40(negative Balance) as when you have Rs 0 in your account you are unable to send msgs...

                            Along with this,i don't even know how to use mms service and if balance was deducted i didn't got any message or any popup notification.
                            Suddenly all the services stopped working and i was unable to make calls>then only i checked the balance

                            The customer care executive kept me hold for such a long time and then in the middle disconnected my call without giving me proper info..And then those people started ignoring my calls...
                            After callin them fr 10-12 times they attended and started saying the same.

                            normal facts : When you send any message to anyone a popup notification that this much balance is deduced..

                            2. When you have zero balance u cannot send mms /sms or make calls...how did my Balance reach Rs - 40


                            Sir already i had faced a lot pf problems with vodafone when i had a postpaid number.They charged me so much at that time for no reason.Even at that time i kept on struggling to their office and calling customer care but they treated so badly..
                            In the end due to big bill amounts and charges for those services which i had never requested ,Vodafone sent me in a debt of almost Rs 8000
                            In the end due to that,i had to close my number

                            Now again i am facing the same mental harassment and issue due to them

                            [protected] is my number and connection is in the name of Prathap, form past 3year iám using this number for my business purpose and daily il be forwarding 400 to 500 sms for that i have activatde 49 sms pack (unlimited 2p/sms) from past 6 month, on 29/07/2010 from around 7pm instead of charging 2p/sms its charging 10p/sms when i call to customer care they told as the tariff has changed they ask me to send sms as UNREG2SMS to 50484 to deactivate the sms pack, on 30/07/2010 they took complaint regardig this( complaint number:[protected] and assured me that the problem wil be resolved by 02/08/2010 at 14:02 hour. on 01/08/2010 at 12:00am they deducted 49rs for sms pack even after sending sms for deactivation on 30/07/2010 it has not be deactivated and additional 20rs has deducted when i call them they assured me that they will refund the 49rs with that 20rs and all the amouth which has deducted from 29/07/2010 for sms. but they didnot rectify the problem and again took complaint on 03/07/2010 (complaint number[protected] and again assured me that the problem will be rectified on 04/0802010 at 9:44am but still the problem has not been resolved.

I have activated a scheme where i refill my balance with 751 and i get 1400 local and std mins and 750 local sms free. every night they deduct my bal with 5-10 rs and i call customer care they dont have explanation . earlier also such thing had happen when i made complain no one reverted back than i went to thier galery they said charges were deducted for gprs i said i dont use gprs so how can you deduct they had no explanation they said they would get back to me and refilled my balance with Rs25. now again they have started and this time it is not only my balance but also my brothers balance being deducted.

                            Sir...on 27-Nov-2011(Sunday) i did a recharged on my number-[protected] for Rs-120, and got a balance of Rs-105. After that recharged on the next day i.e Monday (28-Nov-2011) and Tuesday (29-Nov-201) in these two days, i made total 14 calls with total duration of 25 min and 84 seconds (for 14 calls), though it is 1 Paise per second call, Vodafone deducted all my balance .In any couple of hours if i am checking my balance i can see a reduction in my account balance and at the time of logging this complain as on 30-Nov-2011 @ 10.43 a.m. my current balance was Rs.3. I also have not activated any kind of services on my cell phone. They stopped my Vodafone care services, i cannot even able to talk to any of their customer care executive.
                            Being a low earner, i cannot afford such a loss of charges. Sir request to please fix it up, and help me to refund my money, which they charged unnecessarily.

                            Vodafone — Balance deducted thrice

                            Hello,

                            Balance has been deducted from my vodafone number thrice now. Vodafone is activating services itself without any activation from my side. First time it got deducted and then the balance has gone to negative. Now I was left without the possibility to call customer care too. Second time too the balance got deducted and balance has gone to negative. I don't want any vodafone services like caller tunes etc. why the hell they activate themselves and deduct from our account.

                            After these two issues I called up vodafone customer care (198) and lodged my complaint but of no use. Then I told them to activate my DND so that no services are activated now. This was done nearly 10-12 days ago. The complaint no. for same is "[protected]". Now today again Vodafone has activated one service and deducted amount from my mobile.

                            What the hell they are upto? Is my hard earned money for there services activations. I assure you if this time my money is not refunded I will make sure that other 3 Vodafone numbers being used by my family members will be closed too and we will switch to some other service provider. My contact number is [protected].

                            Looking forward for some action this time!

                            Vodafone — Deduction of Balance and no reply from Customer Care

                            I deactivated my caller tune on morning of 25th july 2012 and i got the confirmation that it has been deactivated. But on the same day in evening i got a message that my caller tune has been deducted and a sum of Rs.30 have been deducted. But still there is no caller tune on my phone.
                            I tried to contact vodafone customer care, they said to please hold the call and they will get back with information but i got no reply for 10 minutes and the phone got disconnected. I am very unsatisfied with Vodafone and it's customer care. I want a strict action taken regarding my complaint. If nothing is done I will port my number to any other service provider as they will provide me with better services.

                              I am a Vodafone Prepaid Customer for the past 6 years([protected]) AP Circle. On 14 th November 2012 23:00 Hrs. I used *121# system to activate an STD plan.
                              These are the steps I followed.
                              Dialled *121#
                              Selected 2.Open Market Offers
                              Selected 4.STD
                              Selected 3.Other Offers
                              Selected 1.[protected]@30p/min
                              Replied with 1 to activate the offer.
                              The offer displayed was
                              "All STD at 30p/min for 7 days at RC 9.
                              Reply 1 to activate the Offer."

                              Then I got "Dear customer, your request is being processed. You can start enjoying the benefit on receiving the confirmation sms."

                              Then I got a message saying "You have been unsubscribed from the package".
                              Immediately I got another message saying "Your Data pack is active now, valid upto 15.11.2012 23:05:20 and Balance:40.00 MB free.Thereafter 10p/10kb will be charged".

                              I called Customer Care at 111 immediately because I already have 200+ MB of 3G data valid upto 30 th November and the Customer Care Executive said that I activated Rs.4 2G data plan and he says that the 3G data plan is now cancelled. Why will I activate 2G data for 1 day, if I already have 3G data for more 15 days. I activated for STD plan and instead got 2G plan activated. This is not fair. I asked the Customer Care Executive to forward the issue but he is not interested in doing that I guess. He replied "There is no use forwarding the issue". He claims that I have used some 7th option for activation.

                              Then I called 198 to register complaint. He says that I have used " *444*5# " to recharge. I used neither of them. No one is interested to escalate the issue to superior or verify what I am saying.

                              I want my 3G data back and update the *121# system. I didn't expect this behavior with a customer who is in the network from the past 6 years.

                                  I received mysterious call from [protected]. which went blank when I answered the call.Knowing the increasing number of such fraud calls, I did not call back the number.

                                  What surprises me is that the same number called both my prepaid Vodafone mobile numbers in a span of few seconds!

                                  Are we exposed in terms of our mobile numbers to such fraud agencies? Who provides such information to them?

                                    sir from the last few days the company is deducting my balance for various services for which i have not subscribed. and on calling to the customer care they are not giving any valid reason and proper reason for that. they have yet not returned my balance. n even now also i am getting messages from the company that please recharge your account as soon as possible as some other service will be activated.
                                    i am facing many problems due to this.

                                      My friend Meenaben have a vodafone prepaid connection card
                                      No.[protected]. We are using this card for INTERNET pack.
                                      On date 09.11.2012 5.25 PM we have Recharge this card with
                                      Rs. 10/- For main account and also Recharge with Rs. 147/- for
                                      One month unlimited GPRS.
                                      At the time of Recharge all sim services-incomming, outgoing
                                      call, packetdata were available. After successful recharge i
                                      have received confirom message of GPRS activation i have start
                                      gprs. There was Rs. 6.90 balance in main Account.
                                      on date 09.11.2012 8.50 PM suddenly my main account balance
                                      deducted and goes to 0.00 all sim services available on the sim
                                      were stopped by vodafone and vodafone had suspended my account
                                      All incoming-outgoing calls and packetdata connection are stop.

                                      I have paid Rs.10+147=157 on 09.11.2012 5.25 PM and vodafone
                                      have suspended sim service on 09.11.2012 8.50 PM.
                                      So i can not use gprs more than three hours.
                                      I request you to Re-activae my sim service on [protected]
                                      and increase validity of GPRS plan with suspension period.
                                      If not agree please refund me my paid Rs. 157/- by cheque
                                      in favour of H K BHAVSAR.
