i have a vodafone number [protected] on which every month services which are not required by me are activated charges are deducted from my account. Every time i have to contact customer care and deactivate the service and ask for refund. However the same service is again activated and same process is repeated.

In some way last month vodafon activate Gurbani scheme on my number. M received msgs from vodafone on 05.04.2011at 08:28 am ,06.04.2011 at 09:18am & 07.04.2011 05:23 pm that from my balance 49 rs. will deducted on 08.04.2011 and that same day (05.04.2011) in night I talked to your costumer care executive Mr. Mukesh saying that balance will not be deducted but all was in vein and on 08.04.2011 my balance amount was deducted. Then m again talked to your customer care executive on 08.04.2011 and he give me number to deactivate to that scheme and I used that way and deactivate Gurbani scheme.

Inspite of all this again today (04.05.2011) I receive same msg on 04.05.2011 at 08:03 am that “Hello ! Aapke account se GURBANI _ Name suvidha ka RS. 49.00 ka sulk is 06.05.2011 ko katega. Kripya balance banaye rakhe”. What is this WHY balance bnaye rkhe bina kissi karan katwane ke liye hum balance baar baar katwane ke liye nhi rkhte calls krne ke liye rkhne hai.........

Inspite of remaining you couple of times that to deactivate Gurbani Service, it's still not done and my cell phone balance is getting deduct every month due to this inconvenience. Immediately deactivate it, make sure my balance not deduct any moreeee..........

      Dear Sir,
Myself is Naveen Aggarwal working in Japanese MNC in Bawal, Delhi-Jaipur Highway. We have taken 5 corporate connection from Vodafone in last August. During the negotiation, I have cleared to their sales person that I will be needing unlimited internet access plan as the same I am using in other service provider. The gentlemen talked to his seniors and agreed to serve as I requested.

Then we started using their service including internet access also. Till Feburary, everything was ok but, suddenly in April'11, they have raised a charges for internet usage amounting Rs. 19,445.00.

I surprised to see the bill and when I compared with old bills, I doubted that there must be some goof-up at Vodafone end.

Then I called up their area office and talked to Mr. Sriram on [protected] and asked him to check the same from their end. I did not get any reply. After two days, I caled him up once again, then he told me that your internet usage were high that's why the amount is being shown in your bill. I told him that when I have taken plan for unlimited usage from vodafone and even vodafone did not charged anything for any usage till Mar'11, how they can start charging for the same service and that's too in huge amount. I also told him that my usage are always normal, so check it once again and get it corrected.

After that I called him up 2~3 times but he did not pick up my call.

Moreover, Vodafone has disconnected my all services without any intimation. I got their msg for this but it was too late.

Kindly help me out on this.

      Regards.

      Naveen Aggarwal

I have been calling Vodafone from past 2 weeks for getting the number ported out to Aircel. The customer service tells me to contact the store, when I go to the store I'm asked to wait and the same story continues...Vodafone empaloyees gives people mental stress for which I think we need to practice meditation before calling vodafone customer service, its that bad...I had a corporate plan with Vodafone, since the access for Skype, Fring, handset as a modem was not given I got an Aircel pre-pay connection with which Skype, fring was accessible and I was happy too. Since Vodafone number is an old number I wanted to port out. I was told by Vodafone Customer service that I need to convert my corporate plan to an Individual plan, mails were sent to corporate email Id for conversion of the plan however no action was taken hence I went to Vodafone store in Goregaon (Hypercity) after so much of hassle the plan got converted, I called Vodafone to check if I'm clear to port out, they then told me that the contract obligation was set up and they had to remove it. I went to the Vodafone store in Mira Road, they said it will be taken off after 48 hrs for which they placed a request, I also spoke to manager: Prasana and Naseem from customer service in regards to the same however they were very awful. After 48 hrs when I called Vodafone customer service, Spoke to manager: Pankaj,he told me that contract obligation was taken off however since the bill was generated on 1st May I had to pay the bill for which the contract obligation was set up again, he told me to pay the bill and once the payment reflects the contract obligation will be taken off automatically and immediately. No calls or sms was given by Vodafone to inform me about the bill which is due on 19/05/2011. I paid the bill and called Vodafone again, then I had an agent telling me it will take another 48 hrs for the contract obligation to be taken off. Today I received a call from Retentions advisor: Zaheer, he said that I can port out only after my next bill date 01/06/2011. Different information given by different people, who shall I trust..Looks like Vodafone doesnt want me to port out...I dont trust vodafone as a whole coz people from Advisor level to manager level dont know their process, their ads says HAPPY TO HELP but they dont mean it...These guys from customer service and the store have harrassed me mentally and here I am to let your know about it so that something can be done about it...My issue is still UNRESOLVED....Kindly look into it.

        Hello Sir/Madam,

I am Vodafone user from past many years and now I'm porting out to other service i.e. Idea Cellular. My mobile number is : [protected]. The very first request for porting out was made on 03/March/2011 with unique code : VM186266. For this they rejected the request due to contractual obligation. I've deactivated the respective services which where making obligations for porting out.

Further they provided me with new code : VM226841 and assured that porting will be done within two working days. I have even mailed to Vodafone regarding porting issue, but they didn't made any response from that mail. It seems they are not at all interested to port out to other service provider.

I've even paid to Idea Cellular for new SIM card. Please, do something that Vodafone port out my number to Idea Cellular ASAP.

        Thanking You,

        Hi Geeta

We are sailing in the same boat

Vodafone is doing the same thing with my no

So what I did was searched through TRAI website where i can make formal complaints and for your relief you can make formal complaints to first a nodal officer and then to the Appellate Authority
I have send a formal email to the nodal officer at vodafone today and waiting for their response
this is the email id of the nodal officer at vodafone mumbai zillah.[protected]@vodafone.com
send an email about your grievances if it is not resolved by the nodal officer then only send an email to the Appellate Authority
        check this link
        http://www.trai.gov.in/sp/24mayvodafone.pdf

        I hope we are successful

        Dear Sir

I am facing very bad experienced while porting out of Vodafone.

Idea Cellular on behalf of me sent Port out request to Vodafone as on 31st March 2011 which they rejected stating "contractual obligation issues". I went to Vodafone gallery and clear all the formalities by recharging my account with a voucher of Rs.151 and Rs.50 to deactivate life time scheme and 50 paisa scheme.

I again requested for port out on 8th April 2011 which again they rejected with malice intention stating same reason of "Contractual Obligations".

I repeatedly contacted customer care of Vodafone on 8th of April and 9th April to know the exact reason when I had completed all the formalities from my side. The representative who picked up from Vodafone care had no knowledge of Number Portability Process. I asked him to transfer the call to superior. Surprisingly their superiors also had no correct knowledge of process. Finally they accepted their fault and informed me that Vodafone system is not updated and they promised me of sorting out the problem within 4 hr. I called back to know the status, they said problem is sorted out.

I again went to Idea gallery and requested to send Port Out request to Vodafone. I got frustrated when I got a msg again on 19th April stating "your request is been rejected due to contractual obligations".

I visited vodafone gallery again since I was getting all wrong answers from Vodafone Call centres. I met the Manager at Lower Parel branch of Vodafone. He informed me that Vodafone is not approving your request to retain you. I clearly told him that it's not retaintion, it's a "Harassment" to the consumer. The manager promised that he will sort out the same in 2-3 days time and will give me a call back. I didn't receive call back for next 6 days. Today again I called up the same manager to know the satus. He mentioned that your contractual obligations are still not removed from our system !!!

I request you to put a high penalty on Vodafone for such malice partice of not allowing the consumer who wants to port out from Vodafone.

i have a vodafone mobile connect data card. till the launch of 3g the support and services were good but now they have been giving me a lot of trouble.
firstly they have no dedicated customer care number for individual users, only for business houses.
secondly, every time i call customer care they say that you have reached pre-paid and then tell me to use a post paid number to call post paid. if a user has no post paid number then he must buy one to just be able to lodge a complain.
thirdly, when i complained that i am not getting promised bandwidth in my 2g plan, i was told to buy 3g and that irrespective of what they promised, they won't give speed in 2g, in short arm twisting me to buy 3g plan
              fraudlent transactions
i visited vodafone customer care / agent for issuance a vodafone flexi recharge .

but to my utter surprise they offered a flexi exiting in the name of some unknown person's id and shown inability to issue flexi recharge in our genuine name.

company was told of such practices but they did not care.

              beware of such company.

I have been trying to talk to a customer care executive for the last two days. The has ceased to give an option of speaking to a customer care executive after one clicks "1" for the "Billing and Tarriff related information" option.

Even if one selects "Value Added Services" and then select the "any other services" tab, it starts repeating the option.

It is extremely frustrating to not be able to speak to a human being after so many efforts.

in marh when number protibily scheme will lauch they this company will not do like this
It's possible. Let's collect list of people who wants to do that and try to get petition from consumer court and TRAI to make migration transparent and easy.

I am really fedup coordinating with the Vodafone Customer Care Exec, Vodafone Stores Exec & the people who call me up from vodafone... Its all about waste speaking to them in regards of migration.

You'll get only 1 thing tatz horrible response from these people.

I really think Vodafone Essar Comp has to train their guys nd staff on soft skills and to better handle the customers.

when i ask customer care centere they said u submit the letter for increase the fixed Bill, i mention that already 6 month ago i submited with my signature that i need minimum 1200/- limit then why they have reduce the limit and each and every time i have to go to voda store and sign the letter is bull , they are saying it accorind to moving average they have reduce,

But when i say i have another number and that number Limit is rs.3000/- and it has never changed then why this is to suffer

I ask to Trai to take action against for consumer suffer, they take advantage

when i ask to change the operator they said u have to wait for 1 month and then only can move

                      Number portability
This is very disappointing customer support from Vodafone as they are not ready to leave my number from their service after requesting the portability of my number 14 days back after paying Premium amount 1000/-. .. After some days Vodafone sent me a message saying that my portability request has been rejected. I am really disappointed by vodafone support and their service. please someone tell me suggesting what should I do now. I want to leave Vodafone.

Is this process revised only for single number [protected]? why not for my other no. [protected] & [protected]?
and if this is the new process to deposit 3000 Rs. Why u have activated my roaming service without any deposit?

                          Hello,

Please give me reason, why my roaming services was deactivate on 26th & 27th April.
while my others vodafone no. [protected] & [protected] was working properly.

Also when I asked to customer care from other no. to activate it, he refused to activate it and asked me to deposite 3000 Rs. as a security(comm. ID[protected] . As I am using Blackberry services, I was unable to use mail accesss that made a heavy financial loss to me.
and also There is no any prior intimation sent to me about the services.

I need a strong reason to clarify the problem and also waved off my call charges that i made a call to customer care from my other vodafone no. [protected].

                              Hi ,
I have applied for mobile number portability and wanted to switch from Vodafone to Airtel. But Vodafone rejected my request mentioning "The number or range is in Contractual Obligations...". I am not sure what contract is associated with number.
When I contacted Vodafone customer care they said to visit their store.
My doubt is that Is there any clause in MNP to stop user from porting out.

Please let me know what else I can do to port out from Vodafone cause i am absolutely dissatisfied by the service plus vodafone have a regular habit of changing their scheme also other service providers have better schemes.

I want to move my netwrok from Vodafone to BSNL. During the Process I have submitted my MNP application along with other required documents in the BSNL office on 12th Feb, 2011.

With in couple of hours i got a message from 1901(MCH) saying that my application got rejected by Vodafone. After that message I have received one more SMS from Vodafone stating that due some obligations the porting was rejected and for further clarification I need to talk to the Vodafone custmer care or need to walk into Vodafone store.

I gone to nearest Vodafone Store and the executive told me that my number is a premier numer and I need to the premium number charges of Rs. 1000/-. I paid the same and unbilled amount of Rs. 60 also via cash at the same vodafone Store. I was assured by Vodafone there is no other issues to clear the same

On 14th Feb, 2011 I again requested the BSNL people to produce the same and the BSNL people did the same. On 15th Feb, 2011 i got a message from 1901(MCH) saying that my application got rejected by Vodafone. After that message I have received one more SMS from Vodafone stating that due some obligations the porting was rejected and for further clarification I need to talk to the Vodafone custmer care or need to walk into Vodafone store.

Why vodafone got rejected this time I don't know.....................?

On 15th Feb, 2011 I again walked into the Vodafone store. I asked why they rejected again after paying the Number charges and Un billed amount. They have no answer. Some executive spoken to the backend team and told me that ask the BSNL people to apply the same again. But this time there is an issue with BSNL system internally.

in the mean time my UPC code got expried. I need to apply again. I did the same. On 28th Feb, 2011 I asked the BSNL people to reproduce the same with new UPC code. And the BSNL people appled the same. Since 28th Feb, 2011 till today(11th march, 2011) my application status is showing that "Processing at MNP Gateway Please wait...................".

So now where should I go how my application I don't know. If i ask the BSNL they are saying that "Processing at MNP Gateway Please wait...................". If I ask the Vodofone they are saying nothing and everything is clear from them.

Can any body help me where should i go and how it got rectified.

                              thanks

Even I have faced simiar kind of problem, Initially I got the MNP code and given porting code and application etc to BSNL and also paid the security deposit. they submitted the MNP form on the same day but immediately Vodafone reject saying contractual obligation.

I call customer care and they told the number is rejected because you have paid the bill yesterday only. then I cleared the bill and again asked BSNL to submit the port form but again Vodafone reject the saying same reason. Ths time I walk in to vodafone store and they tolks that the number is in corporate plan so we rejected the request. but I have asked them that why its not told me during first time but no answer from them... And they told that the corporate plan will be deactivated within 24hours.

Again I have to walk BSNL office to try again..let me see what happen when I submit the form again hope my Portting code will not expire before that..

Vodafone, Mobile operator — MNP rejection by vodafone

I have been requesting vodafone for Porting me out of Vodafone to Idea from 5th March 2011. Always I have been told that my number have been rejected for porting due to contractual obligation. I have been requesting them to remove the all contractual obligations which they have confirmed on the phone they have done the needful but in reality the same is not done while applying. Still I am getting the same message from Vodafone. Request your intervention. I actually want to move out of vodafone due to exhorbitant monthly rental.

I have been given 2 request numbers from Vodafone. They have confirmed on the phone that the porting request will be processed. The request numbers are[protected] and [protected]

                              Vodafone — Rejecting number porting

My parents who are over 65 have been repeatedly trying to get their vodafone number ported to MTNL The first attempt from MTNL was rejected by Vodafone after which my parents checked with customer service and were assured that everything was set. Since then this has happened at least 3 more times with the same story being repeated and Vodafone is absolutely harassing them by not allowing them to switch and causing them unnecessary trips to vodafone center. Is there some kind of corporate direction given by the management to reject number porting in an attempt to keep customers? Have some values and be professional Vodafone !

New customers, stay away from Vodaphone.

                              Vodafone mobile — Rejecting MNP

I gave the request to port out of Vodafone. Then i was told to deactivate all additional services on my number. I gave the request for that as well. Then they rejected my MNP request saying I am under contractual obligations. The reason is that they activated a free STD pack on my number, without my information or consent. Kindly help me.
I have left my number on the website, I have sent several emails as well, I have called up Vodafone Care umpteen number of times, and the result is that absolutely NOTHING has been done. Vodafone is the most useless mobile operator. You steal from your customers. Your licence should be revoked. And I will do anything and everything in my power until you guys are taken to task. You dont have the right to harrass customers in this way.

Vodafone — NUMBER PORTABILITY REJECTED BY VODAFONE SERVICE, HYDERABAD

Hi this lokesh akkineni, the customer of Vodafone using the mobile number [protected] past 6 months in VODAFONE Network. I have faced many problems like network, bills, etc….. I requested many times Vodafone service team to migrated my number to postpaid to prepaid . But they said there is no rule to migration post to prepaid before

After the Mobile Number Portability has been entered then i want to change my Network to tata DOCOMO. Before changing my network i cleared my all due bills, Now my outstanding bill is (Minus)-43 Rs.
Then i submitted application to Port my number. i tried sending msg to 1900 and alas i coudnt even send a msg to 1900???

VODAFONE has blocked my number from sending sms!! they said it has been rejected due to the number or range is in contractual. Then i asked VODAFONE customer executive porting has rejected,
                              He said that
                              1. I did a contract to VODAFONE that we will stay in VODAFONE Network only.
(But i never do any contract with VODAFONE to stay in there Network. )
                              2. It is a Premium Number, i[censored] want to change your network or to change Post to prepaid in Vodafone Network you have pay premium amount.
THE thing is, i have paid the amount to the vodafone store person nearly 3000rs, but i dont know why these people are asking for more?

Then what is the use of Mobile Number Portability.
and after 24th may 2011 i have seen the 7th clause(TRAI rules) which covers my problem.
so please solve my problem as soon as possible

I have paid my monthly bill of 315.29 on 04/04/2011 using quick bill pay. Vodafone refuses to acknowledge this amount. They asked me to submit copy of my bank statement. I DID that. Still they are not crediting rs 315.29. I have spent more that 3 hours on this and two trips to vodafone care that translate to more than rs 100 in petrol.
I am being harassed by vodafone gujarat.

                                  1. Vodafone activates the sports pack even though i dint ask for it.
                                  2. I call vodafone to de activate it and the custoemr care executive insists tat he de activated it.
                                  3. I still get charged for sports update pack that was supposed to be deactivated.
                                  4. I call again and ask for the same. Again the response was that through message its deactivated.
                                  5. I still get charged for sports update.
                                  6. I had to personally go down to the office and fight it out to remove the pack.

Now the question is . How can vodafone provide such horrible customer service.? How can they activate a pack witout my confirmation. ? Who is gonna pay back for my balance that i lost since a month or more. Vodafone is least bothered. They haven given a good offer also though the customer care executive insists that i stick wit vodafone and that some person is gonna call me and give a good offer. its been a month. i haven recieved any phone call for vodafone. I am a customer since 7 years. such cheap tricks from vodafone is driving old customers to other providers. 1 rs daily rental and 1 rupee a call when all my frnds are enjoying 10 ps per minute? now now.. its gonna take more than my balanace refund for this..

But in past 2 month they have activated caller tune 2 times without my request and deducted money Rs.60. It is not big money but still they are deliberately deducting money from my account balance which is not good and don't know how many times they are going to do this.I want vodafone to stop doing this and return all my deducted money or some action should be taken against them.

                                      Dear Sir,

My mobile no. is ..................... and yesterday night I have lost total balance may be due to inadvertently I was connecting to Vodafone mobile to my laptop for utilization of Internet.

Few months back I approch to Vodafone customer care for system based internet facility but that time they denied, Now I want know how this vodofone GPRS automatically connected to internet without subscribing Pact data and other configuration not done in the laptop.

On account of this I have lost Rs. 93 and now balance is showing Rs. -65. consequent upon this is only due to providing the inadequate services by you. As such I do not wish to avail the service of Vodafone and want to disconnect the same.

Please comment on this per return.

                                        Hello Smriti,

I would like to inform you that the phone is still not working. Nothing has changed and everything is still the same.
FYI I have given up on Vodafone now when even the Appellate Authority cant do a thing to resolve a problem.
You are all the same from Customer care to the highest authority, in a word useless.

I have to think about my next course of action.

                                        Mr Rajesh, Puneet,

Please Read the emails below carefully. It explains the problem I am facing since years and Vodafone has not been able to rectify it fully.
Now I am in Australia (Brisbane and Darwin) ad my phone is not working since I have landed here on the 17th April 2011. It is lying like a peper weight on my desk.
Tell me is it so difficult to give a service that i have paid for. it is so frustrating when these things happen. I landed at Brisbane and no one was there to pick me up so i wanted to call the people who were to pick me up, I switch on my phone and not surprisingly it did not work and still does not. it is powered on, manually selected every network available.BUT NO.

I have repeatedly had these problems. WHY? and every time after I send you these emails the phone magically starts working in a day or two. I hope such a miracle happens this time too.
The problem lies that side so please do something about it.

So please read my mails below carefully , paying special attention to the Dates and where I have been to.

And If you cant rectify it really quickly then please send me my Unique Porting Code because I have enough of this crap. I cant get it myself coz I am out of India for 3 months and the phone is not working so I cant get it by sending the message to 1900.

I really hope it works now.

                                        A lost customer

It was working very well till about 20 days ago. then I switched it off as I didn't need it and then I switch it on and it wont work. I do depend on a my phone a lot as I travel all the time so I have international roaming and blackberry service activated on my number. But all of it is not working now.
                                        > I get very lame excuses from the help desk who have actually no idea of what is going on, and they are not HAPPY TO HELP'. They all say the exact same things like switch your phone on and off, select network manually, goto vodafone optional and activate International Roaming. One agent also told me to change my handset. Great. Well I have done it all and nothing works now. My bills are all paid in time. So whats the problem. Its was all working very welltill 20 days ago. Same phone same settings and same locations( Between USA and Canada) where it actually worked.
