Customers are suffering like anything...Even sometimes Vodaphone GPRS technical team will tell like this after 2 minutes help, "customers are in queue. So, u try and call us back".What is the meaning of the word?????If customer are waiting means who am I?I purchased Hutch/Vodaphone and using paying past 3 yeras.

I have been using vodafone prepaid more than 2.5 years and activated GPRS more than 1year everyday facing the problem while using GPRS for past 1 month. While contacting the customer care regarding this that they have adviced me to receive a Setting file every time and no other choice for it .you can contact Vodafone Store for more details . so that i had gone to vodafone Store Vadapalani
( Chennai-Tamilnadu) where the response is very worst.Really i was depressed with the GPRS person and his answers on that store.
It made me to think at that time why should i use Vodafone .
    Dear Sir,
I did a E-recharge of Rs-95/- so that i will get 50 MB data usage free.At that time i had a talk time balance of 232.But with one day browsing in my phone i lost my balance and balance became -.50ps.Every time after the browsing i checked the balance at that time it was alright but suddenly i lost the gprs connection and i lost my whole balance.I didn't used 50MB of data i called the customer care but no use, they will either cut the phone or will say the system is updating call after some time. And after some days i got a message that GPRS 75 was freely activated for me so that i can use 30 MB of free data so i started browsing and i checked the balance it was alright they didnt charged but after some time when i checked i lost the balance.

      3g USB Stick Wrong information

I was sold Vodafone 3G USB dongle on Feb - 2011 for Rs 1500/- at vodafone vashi store. I was told that the unlimited usage
plan of Rs 599 will work on 2G as well as 3G network.

When I questioned that how I would get 3g speed at this much cost, I was again told that as you are existing customer.
when 3g broadband would be launched I would get the same speed on existing plan and I would not require to change plan.

Every time I use to call up I was told the same thing and now when I approached Vodafone customer care I found out that this plan is
applicable only on 2G network and the charges will be different for 3G network. I was shocked to know that I was fooled to believe
that I could use this plan for both 2G and 3G network.

I requested them to take back USB dongle and refund me the money. I was advised by Vodafone care executive to go to Vodafone Care Centre for refund.
When I approached Vodafone care centre they refused to take back. I again called Vodafone care and they said it can’t be returned. This is a case of
Misstatements of facts and incomplete information given to me and inducing me to buy the USB 3G dongle.

Again on 17’Th of April I went to Vodafone store Vashi and spoke with the manager over there. She said that as you are existing customer you would be
able to use 3g speed at plan of Rs 599. (Even she was under same impression. The same thing was told to me by Vodafone Chembur store)
Then just to confirm she called up somewhere and then said, sorry you will have to go for the new 3g plan.

I asked her why I was given wrong information; she said that even we were not aware of these things at that time (Feb 2011 to 17 April 2011)

      Even at your site http://www.vodafone.in/internet/pages/3gusbstick_mum.aspx?cid=mum
The plans are given and you have not mentioned that these plans are for 2g network.

The same is printed on your 3g usb stick broachers.

I am really shocked after getting such false information from Vodafone. I am using Vodafone since last 8 years. We have 8 Vodafone
connections in my family. I never expected all these marketing strategies from Vodafone.

Vodafone — CHARGED ME 1753 FOR GPRS USAGE

AM USING UNLIMITED PLAN OF 1099, , BUT AM CHARGED Rs 1753 FOR THE USAGE WHICH IS AN UNLIMITED PLAN + THE MONTHLY RENTAL OF Rs1099.. why am i being charged of 1753??????
      Hi,

I have already visited Vodafone Vashi store.

They said that you can not get the refund for the USB stick.
Also I have sent mail on vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com on 20-Apr-2011
and still waiting for the reply.

Sincerely speaking I had got worst response of my life from Vodafone Vashi store. They just laugh when you tell them your concern.
I wanted to buy a 3G USB stick and looked at the several options available in the market until 12th March, when I walked into the Vodafone gallery at Wakdewadi, Pune. I spoke to an executive named Vipul and asked him about the Vodafone 3G USB stick and plans thereon. He explained that the USB stick costs Rs. 1500 also showed me a data enrollment form which mentioned a few plans. One of them was an unlimited plan with the cost being Rs 599 every month. Vipul explained I could surf 3G unlimited for Rs 599. I told him that I was a bit surprised as all the other operators offered 1GB at Rs 650 and this was a really exciting plan. I asked him many times if he was sure that I will get 3G speed and that too unlimited for the said amount. He replied with a big YES.I had also visited two more vodafone stores in pune where I got the same information. I had read all the terms and conditions on the data enrollment form where they not mentioned any it is GPRS plan or 3G Plan or any speed regarding internet speed.
The USB stick worked fine and gave 3G speed till 10th april. However, after the 10th of April, the I was able to get only a normal GPRS signal. I called up customer support and they told me that my 3G account has been deactivated. I was not given a reason why this happened. I walked into the Vodafone gallery again the next day and lodged a complaint. I was told that I cannot get 3G speed as I had signed up for a normal 2G plan which would give me unlimited internet at Rs 599. I asked why I had been promised 3G unlimited for Rs599.Vipul did a complete U-turn and said that he had never promised me anything. He had no explanation for that.
I called vodafone customer care several times but they never responded to my complaint. Every time called up them, they told me that my mobile was switched off so they were not able to contact me.
I was really frustrated with vodafone services. So I lastly lodge the complaint againt the vodafone Essar in the consumer court on 12th of may.
Now i have sufficent evidence and proof to go against vodafone but i need all you guys to provide me more evidence to hit vodafone really hard.So i can win the case and vodafone will never think to play such kind of frauds.
U can send me a scan or picture of your complaint on a simple plaine paper sheet written and signed by you along with the necessary documents on my e-mail id. Your complaint must contain

I pray for immediate arrest of Delhi police commissioner Brijesh Gupta, for not arresting Vodafone CEO Marten Pieters, involved in fake lottery scam. On 18 April 2011 perhaps 10 lakh Delhi citizens received SMS from [protected] : CONGRATS YOUR MOBILE NO HAS BEEN AWARDED 350,000,00GBP in 2011 COCACOLA INT'L MOBILE DRAW TO CLAIM SEND YOUR DETAILS Dr.White Smith,EMAIL([protected]@live.co.uk
No, in this instance, fake lottery SMS was sent to presumable a million Delhi citizens, from Vodafone moblle [protected]. The sender can be identified in 5 minutes. Country should stop tolerating such scam and struggle for arrest of Delhi Police Commissioner for inaction.
A Vodafone customer, with photoidentity in custody of Vodafone, sent fake lottery SMS to 10 lakh people asking them to claim cash prize of 3.5 crore GBP. I spent time and money, complaining/reminding EVERYDAY to Vodafone, TRAI, DOT, Communication Minister, Police Commissioner, Prime Minister, President, media. After sustained reminders for 13 days, I received fake lottery SMS from same Vodafone mobile and with same content. Can there be any doubts that both police commissioner and communication minister are sharing the booty? How can nation tolerate Kapil Sibal on Lokpal bill committee? Total fake lottery money in two SMSs : Rs[protected] x 2000000 = Rs7, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000 I don't know how to state that sum in words. When I was at school, a billion had 12 zeros, at medical college, a billion had 9 zeros. I don't know if 7000 kharabs makes a valid statement in words - I don't know units beyond kharab. Police refuses to book FIR involving that INFINITE looking amount. Shiela Dixit's DJB wants me to submit FIR for theft of water meter costing Rs500 or else, pay a compounding bribe of Rs200

          Vodafone network problems are horrible!!
Since yesterday at 10, I have not been able to make outgoing calls or SMS or even receive incoming calls or SMS.
At first, Vodafone guys tried to blame my handset for it and made me try all sorts of rebooting methods and even asked me to change the Access Point settings on my mobile phone.
When nothing worked, they accepted that its a problem with their base stations in Delhi and that several customers (the customer care agent told me 4.3 lacs customers!!!) in Delhi have been facing this problem since 19 the April morning.
All along they have been telling me that they are sorting the problem out at their end and that I should wait for a "couple" of hours...or that they have "forwarded" my number to higher up....what the hell does forwarding my number do for me if the problem is not solved???!!!

Well, Vodafone I have waited for 24 hours now and I AM FED UP WITH YOU!!

So after being associated with Vodafone as a "high revenue" post-paid customer for 8 years, I am switching my service provider.

Not just because they have utterly failed to solve the problem even today (more than 24 hours after this problem started), but more because of how they have handled this problem by giving me repeated false commitments!!

          update on 21st April:
The network problem still remains...unable to make or receive any phone calls & SMS for 3 straight days now!
And now Vodafone is totally denying the problem saying that they have corrected the network problem from their end yesterday. On my asking why my services are still not working they have no answers...they are again asking me to reboot my phone.
How dumb does Vodafone think consumers are???!!! Does Vodfone seriously think anyone will believe their shameless lies!!??

PS: Yesterday, I have applied to switch my business to Airtel.
          update as on 23rd april:

problem is still not solved. unbelievable!!!

now they are saying that some customer care agent changed my talk plan into a internet surfing plan only!!

what kind of ridiculuous excuse is this???!!!

i am determined to take this bunch of jokers to the consumer court now...

whosoever is planning on a vodafone connection now...be careful!

lousy, lousy service...and if this can happen to a long standing, high value customer like me then it can happen to anyone...

I recently puchased vodafone USB stick in which Vadafone claimed that they are giving u unlimited on 599 Rs + Tax. in which you will get minimum speed of 1.0 mbps to 3.1 mbps, but actually my downloading speed is just 1 kbps, which is a huge difference between what they claim and what i am getting, my SIM no is [protected].

I have already logged my complain to Vodafone complaints but I didn't got any response from vodafone. I called so many time to Vodafone person who sold me this USB stick but he did not receive my phone calls. I also called to vodafone customer care they suggested me several options which I have already tried. After that CC executive told me that they can not help me further on this.. I am shocked with this comment of CC executive because at the time of purchasing the stick vodafone gave me several commitment like internet speed you will get is 1.0 Mbps to 3.1 Mbps . Currently I am getting speed of 16 kbps to 47 Kbps and sometimes it show speed in 16 bps to 0 bps.. Please help!!

                Please helpppppp!!!

I am very tired of calling and going to vodafone stores but nothing help has been given to me.

Please try to solve my problem.
On 23rd Aug 2013, in the early hours of morning, I recharged my mobile balance by Rs.140.00 through ICICI Bank imobile service, As I did not get any confirmation from Vodafone, I repeated the recharge again for the same amount. Upon calling the customer service, I was told not to worry and that sometimes it takes atleast half an hour for processing. When I still did not get the credit, I checked with ICICI Bank to confirm the transfer, I was told that the transaction was processed from their end successfully. The transaction numbers are[protected] for Rs.140.00 and Transc no.[protected] for Rs.140.00. My vodafone mobile no is [protected]. When I called up the vodafone customer service again after almost 12 hrs, with the facts, I was sent some addresses of Pune and told to contact them in person. This is the height of stupidity and very poor customer service on the part of vodafone. For Rs.240.00 balance confirmation I might have to spend more than the rechg amout by way of transportation expenses. When told the customer svc supervisor that I cannot do a stupid thing like this, I was told to wait another week. No complaint number or ref no. was given. If multinational companies enter our country and loot customers like this with impunity, who is to be held responsible.Maybe the Telecomm Ministry shoul wake up and see the number of complaints against these erring companies.

                  Mobile No. [protected]
Name of the holder : Sukanta Chakraborty
Connection or sim taken from Retailer : 'SANDHYA TELECOM', New Barrackpur Station Road West, opposite of 'MAYA RADIO'.Distributor : 'PODDAR', Barasat. Sim activated on 13th January, 2011.

Incoming and outgoing both are stopped. Vodafone is telling that same paper and photo are used to issue more than 9 sim cards. All sims are blocked due to this reason. At present the balance in this number is Rs. -27.49/-. Rs. 98/- recharge has been done on 17th April 2011 at 8-25p.m., but the sim is blocked due to which internet connection is not opened. Transaction ID is K[protected]. My questions are

                  1. As a valid customer why am I going to submit document and photo again? As the retailer or distributor may have copied my original photograph and document for further use. The retailer can again use those copy of photograph and paper to clear the blocked sim once more. Have I continue that all these 'Fake' sims under my name were issued by the same retailer and same distributor?
                  2. I want to know why my original papers were duplicated along with the photograph and how 9 sims were issued?
                  3. I want to know that distributor and retailer who has signed for those 9 fake sims issued in my name.
                  4. I am afraid that the retailer 'SANDHYA TELECOM' might have issued my paper and photograph in issuing other mobile network operators' sim also.
                  5. I want to take legal steps against those persons who are associated in this crime. How can I proceed? Please help me.

I regret to write this that after using Vodafone service for more than 5 years continuously, I lost my SIM card and today went to Naupada Thane Gallery with all the required documents. But to my shock, executive Sumeet Jha was so rude, he didnt even ask me what my problem was and directly started saying that he can’t do anything since system is down. I further stated him that I have been visiting store for past 3 days continuously, (earlier went to Prabhadevi , there a lady executive was very polite and friendly, and she guided me with the documents needed) please see if there is any other way or should I buy new SIM, the answer I got to hear was that “I can switch to other service provider”, and then when I asked him you are not even trying to help me he went ahead and said I can even complain this to his nodal officer.
It came as an extreme shock to me, to get this kind of experience from Vodafone executive.
Its only because of such executives like Sumeet Jha, I don’t feel like using Vodafone now.
And this not only my story, there are lot many who have already switched to other service providers because of this kind of rude behaviour of executives.

This is inform you that I am very surprising that when I have visit to your mini vodafone store at kannamwar nagar - 1, vikhroli (E) for coverting my Air-tel service to vodafone by MNP (Mobile Number Portability).

Vodafone executive Mr. Srinivas was talking with very rudely language with me and as per his attitude he doesn't want to grow the vodafone business.

when i asked him for his surname, he told me that i will not give you my surname and do whatever you want.

Such type of people very painful to customers and business.

Hope you will take proper action on this.

Please help me out to activate vodafone services on my mobile.

After making a lot of query, I m finally bashing a complaint against Vodafone. Here is my problem, does Vodafone have some partiality issues with cities like the Vodafone users at Mumbai can get more awesome features than users from Bhubaneswar ? or Vodafone just don't have the credibility to treat all its consumers equally? anyways i m totally pissed! My uncle got transfered to Oman recently, and i need a bonus or any top-up card or voucher from Vodafone to make cheap calls to Muscat. The worst thing is its NOT AVAILABLE HERE AT BHUBANESWAR. I tried calling customer care but, the only good thing about Vodafone customer care is the VR....thats just the cliché. Then i googled it, according to their website they are saying that "you can buy the World or Gulf calling cards from registered Vodafone store or mini store". Then again I checked which are the registered mini-stores or stores here at Bhubaneswar. AND THERE IS ONLY ONE "REGISTERED" STORE HERE, i want that gulf calling card so bad that i even went to that store which is kinda far from my home to ask and buy the Gulf calling card so that i can make calls to muscat with cheap charges. Here is the funniest thing about it, most of the customer care trainees there denied the existence of any Gulf or world calling cards totally by Vodafone. Some babbled for hours and said maybe Vodafone isn't supplying any of them anymore. Some said yes its available go check at the "PAY HERE" counter. Spent almost 2 hours of my precious time and got nothing at all! I came back home and googled about those cards again, they are available in other states while its not available here and many other states. And i have no idea why they got a fancy website, either its not cool for a simple user, i didn't got any help from their website. Anyways i m going to google for more forums and write more about this issue its not cool at all! If they just stopped supplying WCC or GCC how someone supposed to call their relatives or dearest one far from our country. Hope anybody will read this and take some actions!

PS -Sorry for my English, I m just 20 not some English professor in some lonely college!

Vodafone / SIM — Disconnection lifelong validity

At least three Mobile's lifelong validity have been cancelled this month unduly. These all are belongs to my family. The numbers of these Mobile phones
are [protected],[protected] and [protected]. The lifelong validity of those Mobile phones were up to some time of 2024.I think, these are happened due to no evidence of lifelong validity in our custody as all customer of vodafone do.

                                Hello!!
This is inform you that I, Rohit Agarwal is holding a vodafone number ([protected]). On[protected], I lost my sim, so the very same day I called on the customer care number to get it blocked. It was told to me that my number has been blocked. Then on[protected], I went to Vodafone Store, Kamla Nagar Delhi around 3:00 PM. I got the duplicate sim from there and it was told to me that it will be activated within a maximum of 4 hours. Then till 10:00 PM my sim wasnt activated so I called on the customer care number for the same. Before talking to the customer care executive, my call was on hold for around 20 minutes which is not again a good remark. When I talked to the executive about my sim, I got to know that the sim didnt get deactivated on 08-04-11 and he did not have any information regarding the activation of the duplicate sim. When I asked the executive to register my complain regarding these deficiencies in your services then he transfered my call to his senior for which my call was again put on hold for around 8 minutes and after that the call got disconnected. And I was also charged for this call though the whole call ended in holding it. Then again I called on the customer care number this morning around 10:00 AM and the executive refused to register my complain regarding the same and he asked me to visit the Vodafone Store Kamla Nagar to get my duplicate sim activated. Then i wrote a number of mails on this id including one mail to the nodal officer but the all i got in reply was a mail requesting me to visit the vodafone store again. So again on 16-04-11 i went to vodafone store, Kamla Nagar for the same and again it was told to me that now my number will be activated within 4 hours. When I was not able to use my duplicate sim I again called on the vodafone care, it was told to me that my number has been activated from their side and now there must be some problem with the sim. So they again asked me to visit that vodafone store. Its not like that your customer dont have any other work to do apart from this issue and I dont think that I will be able to visit any vodafone store for this as its approx 10 kms from my place.
I am sorry to say but this kind of behaviour on part of your staff and this kind of service is resulting in great difficulty and inconvenience to me.
So you are kindly requested to register my complain regarding the same and look into the matter as soon as possible.

                                Thanking You

                                Regards

It got connected from one my collegues post paid connection. Finally I could able to speak with customer care executive. When I ask about this issue then they said 24 hrs will take to credit. It did not credited after 24 hrs again I called up they they said 72 hrs will take after that also not credited they they asked me to consult Vodafone service provider. HI,

i have 3 vodafone numbers on my name. ONe is used by my Dad. We had payed all the 3 bills before time and have the receipt as well. But i have been receiving call from call centre of vodafone saying " one bill has not been paid " and we will deactivate the service, which they did. Inspite of me telling them its been done, i have the receipt, i provided them the receipt details as well... but what so ever i had to do this 4 times, to different people calling from call centre.. ( i really dont know ...how they say THEY ARE HAPPY 2 HELP ).

Now our bank show the entry of VODAFONE for the same bill been collected on 17th of April and we paid the bill on 14th...

so now can someone help me with some CEO email id..or any NEWS cahnnel site...where i can carry forward this of VODAFONE...

because of all this they have deactivated my DADA no... completely now..no out going and no incoming at ALL... my dad been suffering from his Business calls... BECAUSE of VODAFONE ERROR..or whatever... they dont even have a CLUE... i have mailed my complaint to vodafone care as well.. visited the store yesterday 3may again.. but no actions have been taken so far...

please some one help me in taking this further SERIOUSLY...
Bull sheet service !!! I have used most of all the mobiles services i.e BPL, TATA, Reliance etc., but this is the worst service I have come across. I have heard from the ex employee of HUTCH that the call centers are purpose fully droppiong the lines as there remunerations are based on the numbers of call received or some connectivity charges.

If this goes on one day I will have to give up all my 5 mobiles.
The coverage and conectivity both are just limited... Can't hold a service with limited access and conectivity ...its better to stay with AIR TEl the only suberve service 365 x 30x24

Will vodafone authorities look into the matter
I had applied for the cellular connection with Vodafone. One connection was convered from prepaid into postpaid and another taken freshly. After proper documentation they activated the service for three days, later it got disconnected, with reason pending dues with earlier connection.I cleared that.Since then none of the executive has updated the information. The service was initiated since 25th of march till date i had experieced frequent disconnection from the company, stating the pending dues !Later on it was once updated on the system and it regularetes till 5th May.Since the service has activated one month, they have set a credit limit on their own without obtaining first payment from my side. Now they have disconnected my fresh number outgoing service. After experincing such mental harrashment in was in a position to switch the service from postpaid into prepaid. The executive in Hutch House Mr.Mudassar, instead helping was analyzing my previous dues,it is was well updated in the system shows clear. Now again he started convincing me about the conversion,i stick to my stand.Later on he agreed for the conversion and got the form for prepaid connection.I asked him,i'll get back to him alongwith the documents.Due to some work i could manage to move to Hutch house,i send my Astt.over there. He was replied that i need to clear my going numbers due, then only we will convert the number into prepaid.I spend almost an hour over there that exe. didn't specify this.I got tempered by their attitude.I explain them, you go ahead with this, tommorow morning i will pay by cheque as soon as the postpaid connection disconnected today late evening. Now he sticks to his process, first you have to clear the outstanding then only can proceed further.
I wanted to state over here that, this all happens because of the poor mgmt or low profile personnel appointed on the decision making position.Am a old customer of this network (Hutch,Orange).
Its a really ridiculus and humiliating experience i ever had with this service provider.

                                Vodafone — Unsatisfactory response

sumit.V. gupta , i am an unsatisfied customer of vodafone mobile services. Suddenly few days ago this problem started that i was unable to view the details of the caller when he calls. neither i could see his number nor name. it would display "Unknown caller or unknown number". when i reported this to their customer care they said vodafone is re-verifying its customers and the problem will be solved after the reverification of documents. i submiited my documents at the vodafone centre on 22 sept. they assured me that my problem would be solved in 2 days. 1 week passed but the problem is as it was. Now when i am trying to talk to their customer care , there is no proper response from their side. infact , these people are not processing complaint helpline number also.
this kind of behaviour from them is not tolerable and now i am thinking of changing my service provider because vodafone is as worse and good are its ads. these people should me sued and shut . vodafone sucks !!!!!

Vodafone — Disconnection of outgoing services and dissatisfactory assistance from Vodafone

This is with reference to my Vodafone account no. [protected]. I have been an user of Vodafone for the last 10 years and have had the abovementioned number since April 2006. As a long standing customer of Vodafone, who has always been assured of quality services from the company, I have to admit that I am extremely dissatisfied with the level of customer support that has been rendered to me by Vodafone in recent times.

To begin with, I have encountered problems in connection with the excessive billing practices of Vodafone. For several months now, the amounts reflected in my monthly bills have not tallied with my tariff plans and my usage and I have pointed this out to Vodafone officials on various occasions. On the advice of Vodafone Customer Care executives, I have changed my tariff plans twice, so as to reduce the billing. In fact, on the last occasion, my tariff plan was finally changed by Vodafone after raising 3 successive requests. Although this has curtailed my bills to a certain extent, it is still not accurately reflective of my actual usage and I have therefore asked for itemized bills. Needless to say, this request of mine has not been processed till date.

In addition to this, the recurrent issue I have been facing for the last 4 months till date is the disconnection of my outgoing call services despite having paid my Vodafone bills successively. During the 18th or 19th of each month, my outgoing calls are discontinued by Vodafone citing some reason or the other. On enquiring about this, the last 2 months I was told by Vodafone officials that I had exceeded my credit limit of Rs. 4000/-, which is not correct, as my tariff plan has been fixed in such a manner that it is not possible for my actual usage to exceed my credit limit in any given month. I have tried explaining this to the officials but to no avail.

This month, on May 19, 2011, my outgoing services were barred again by Vodafone, although I had paid my bill for the month of April 2011. At the time of making the payment, my bill amount was reflected as Rs. 2003/- for the month of April 2011, which was payable by May 2011. After making the payment, my account showed an outstanding amount of Rs. 995/-, which I understand is my bill for the month of May 2011, which is payable by June 5, 2011. This means that I have around 13 more days to pay my current bill amount. However, my outgoing services have not been activated yet. On explaining this to the Vodafone officials, they told me that the amount of Rs. 995/- is a pending amount from my March 2011 bill, which I have to pay immediately so that my services can be restored. This is absolutely untrue and erroneous record keeping on the part of Vodafone, as I have not received any notification or intimation of a pending payment from March 2011, prior to my conversation with the Vodafone officials yesterday. I spoke to the Vodafone officials repeatedly about this and during one of my last conversations, which took place around 10.30 a.m. today, I was told that my issue has been resolved and my line would be activated in 2 hours. However, immediately after this phone call, I received an SMS from Vodafone stating that my request could not be processed and I would have to make a payment of Rs. 1397/- immediately. Upon calling the Helpdesk again, I was once more assured that my request had been accepted, only to receive a similar SMS after a few minutes, now asking for a payment of Rs. 1398/-! Therefore, not only has my request been wrongfully rejected, I also fail to understand how and under what circumstances I have been asked to make additional payments of Rs. 402/- (Rs. 1397/- - Rs. 995/-) and Rs. 403/- (Rs. 1398/- - Rs. 995/-) within a span of a few minutes.

Further, in this connection, please note that if the explanation provided by the Vodafone officials regarding a pending payment on my part for March 2011 is correct, it would imply that my current bill amount for the month of May 2011 is 0/-, which I understand is not possible by any means. This fully explains that the records of Vodafone are erroneously maintained. To substantiate my claim, please note that the automated voice message on the Vodafone Helpline number still states that my current outstanding payment for the month of May 2011, which is payable by June 5, 2011 is Rs. 995/-.

I request Vodafone to look into this and take immediate corrective action. I also request for a review of my case and an immediate solution to the problems which I have faced with Vodafone in the last few months, alongwith a written explanation, failing which I will be forced to take legal action.

                                My complaint number is [protected].

I hope that Vodafone understands the genuine grievances of a long-standing customer and I anticipate a speedy redressal of the abovementioned problems.

Vodafone — Unsatisfactory service from vodafone

On 21st May 2011, I called up vodafone customer care requesting to change then current billing address of three of our family members. I was told that one of their customer care representatives would be visiting our new address to collect the address proof and accordingly the address will be changed in system. On 25th a person came to our new residence with a list of only two of our family members (me and my husband) for address change but my father's name was missing from his list. He took mine and my husband's address proof and also asked my father to give his address proof which he will take care of. Accordingly my father provided him with his voter id card photocopy to process the request. Today i.e. 27th May 2011 another customer care representative called up my father and told that they are unable to process the request. As per them, my father has to visit a vodafone customer care with a formal letter requesting to change his address then only vodafone will process that request. The request id is [protected]. This seems really odd to me. It seems service provided by vodafone varies from customer to customer. Because mine and my husband's billing address got changed but they cannot change the same for my father. Is it a joke ?? Three requests had been made on the same day and for two they have processed and for one they cannot do anything. I called up customer care but, talking to their customer care representative is simply wasting of time. When I asked to connect to her supervisor, I have been told that all the supervisors are busy they cannot connect right now. After 24 hours they will call me back. This is truly frustrating experience with vodafone. We have decided to simply discard vodefone and switch to some other network provider. Their so called policy is not same for all customers. Also I want the photocopy of the voder id card back which they have retained without any use, they do not have any right to keep it with them when they cannot do anything with that. Someday I can see some other policy will be applied which may vary from one to another. The WORST network service provider in India.
In addition to my concern written above I never received a call back from Vodafone from any of their managers/ supervisors till date though I had been told the same.

Vodafone — the worst attitude of customer care assistant

I am Biswosakti mondal.I use [protected] vodafone mobile number.Today(02.09.2011) at 15:40 pm I called vodafone customer care to complain about gprs daily pack activation but then the online customer care assistant not register any complain and he use too obscene language with me.
This space will not be sufficient to explain my issue to them. I already sent an email to vodafonecare, so let me see hw quick will I be contacted by them.

All I could say is Vodafone is worst than any other network providers in INDIA.

Please close your services and leave INDIA, coz none o[censored]s are happy with you.

                                      Address: Gurgaon, Haryana

I am using Vodafone number [protected]. I have been a Vodafone customer for last 10 years. I had lost my phone yesterday and subsequently I spoke with Vodafone customer care fir blocking of sim and then on the suggestion of the CC executive, I went to Vodafone store in JMD Square, Gurgaon. I was assured over phone that the new sim will be activated within 4 hours. At the store also, the person repeated the same thing while handing the sim to me. I had collected the sim at 7:25pm yday and was hoping that the sim will be activated by midnight atleast. But it didn’t happen. Then I spoke to CC executive in the morning today and the person said that the sim will be activated by 9:00am for sure. But as expected even that didn’t happen. Then I called Vodafone again around 10:30am and spoke to Kapil. Very coolely he just admitted that the information passed on to me was wrong and that sim could be activated only between 10am to 12noon today. Though I was very upset but I still waited till 12:30pm. When I called customer care again, to my surprise, I was told to visit the Vodafone store again if I needed my sim to be activated. When I told the person (Shilpi) that I do now want to visit the store again, she said that it was the only way left for activation of sim and that I will have to do it if I want the connection.

I am extremely unhappy and disappointed with the service and really do not wish to stay with Vodafone now…especially after talking to the last person in CC. I am writing this message at 4:10pm and my sim has still not been activated. What is even more surprising is that all the 5 people I spoke to, have given me the different information and not even one of them was correct.

I had myself gone to Vodafone store yday as I urgently needed the activation of phone, otherwise I could have comfortably waited for Vodafone to send me the duplicate sim at my residence.

Total lack of transparency and camouflaged rules and systems characterize Indian mobile companies to so much customer’s exploitation that a customer is always at loss to know which service-provider is a better cheat than the other. About a year back, I was disillusioned with the services of DOCOMO and discontinued all my connections being repeatedly cheated and substituting VODAFONE with its seemingly wonderful customer-friendly results. I had no complaints, whatsoever; against this service provider until a couple of months back when I had the real test of its character. It is no less horrible than my earlier connection and bothered me every now and again with its improper and irrational behavior and pick-pocketing actions.

VODAFONE boasts of providing internet connection under four-rupee, sixteen rupee and ninety-eight rupee schemes with the latter claiming to be of 720 hours o[censored]ninterrupted internet connectivity limited to 4-GB of late. Until recently, this offer was unlimited, but now not so, since a month or so. The most perplexing thing is that you do not know when the 4-GB barrier is achieved. Not knowing as to how much I had used, I carried on internet to find it blocked finally in the midst of the important work I was undertaking and the SIM exhibiting debit balances of six rupees, though it had a credit balance of about sixty rupees.

As I was to continue the internet, I recharged the SIM with one hundred eleven rupees to find a credit balance of one hundred five rupees in my mobile. I then sent one SMS for debiting my account with ninety-eight rupees for 4-GB internet which promptly was debited, showing my mobile a credit balance of seven rupees. Despite every step I took and after making the required payment, internet connection has not been restored to me so far. Why the service provider did this without any rhyme or reason is hard for me to understand. If there is some rule which blocks my service, it should have been advised to me instead of putting me into inconvenience and loss. Conversely, they should have refunded the ninety-eight rupees they had debited to my account if it was not possible on their part to provide me internet connection. In no way, they should have kept me guessing and grabbing my money or, rather, temporarily misappropriating it.

Now, VODAFONE needs to apprise me as to:
                                        • Why it showed a debit balance (as in a post-paid connection) in my pre-paid connection which should always have a credit or zero balance;
                                        • Why it blocked my internet connection today, i.e. on[protected] when I had adequate credit balance and I had already opted for a ninety-eight rupee scheme for which payment has already been received by them under their confirmation and under their assurance that internet will be provided;
                                        • Why the VODAFONE service provider chooses to hoodwink the public by not providing any clarification on the actions arbitrarily initiated by it or laws suited to cater its own needs?
