Hello,
On 09/04/2011 my number was Ported to Vodafone from Idea Network which i was using since last Six Years. I Left Idea Because of their Poor Customer Service. And When my Number got Activated by Vodafone i was very happy and Subscribed for Vodafone TV. Paid 150 for Non Pre 70 Channel and Rs 30 for Star Plus. And Before Subscription i confirmed that there will be no viewing charges for this. After Subscription my balance was RS 300. They deducted Rs 150 + 30 =Rs 180 which is fair. But after that i have watched TV for 15 minutes and my balance became RS -160 (Minus).
When i called Vodafone they told to call after after 6 hrs and they were very rude. When i have called after Six Hours they told that they will arrange a call back but never called back. When i have called again they put me on hold for more than 90 minutes and i got frustrated and disconnected the call, once they put me on IVR. Again i tried to call them on 10/04/2011, they told there is Surfing charge in your account. Does it make any sense?
Now i have decided to Port Out my number from Vodafone after three month. Because if they will charge for Subscription how they can charge for surfing and if why they are giving the wrong information. If they will charge both way i don't think Mobile TV by Vodafone can be accessible by any Indian. On my First Day in Vodafone i got this Experience, i don't know how i will keep this number with Vodafone for next three month so that i can Port Out again to Airtel.

Vodafone is a big thief.

Dear Sir,


This is in continuation to my complaint dated 15.10.07 given to your office. I have been a subscriber and hold this number since the company was AT &T which subsequently change to BPL then Hutch and now Vodafone.
This clearly indicates my willingness to stay with the company over though I have had some bad experience in the past .You may check your records and you will notice I have never ever defaulted with my bills.
I went abroad on the 26th sept. 07 you have charged me Rs.150/- on 22.09.07 to activate international roaming. In fact there was a error and I got all the incoming calls with no voice as is clearly seen in my roaming incoming calls up to 05.10.07.All these incoming calls have not been duration from 2 seconds to 20 seconds. This clearly goes to show there was no speech. You have further gone ahead and charge me Rs.800/- for these calls. If you compare the bill correctly you will see I made a return call to the same numbers and you have billed a sum of Rs.8031/-.This bill was totally unnecessary as my incoming calls could not be received due to no speech and no I was forced to make these return calls due to vodaphone faulty service.
e.g. 1.On 3rd sept 07 there is incoming call from [protected] there is three time incoming from this number. I made outgoing of Rs. 900.Here my bill is increased by Rs. 800.

2. On 3rd sept 07 there is incoming call from[protected] there is one incoming call from this number. I made outgoing of Rs. 1350.Here my bill is increased for Rs. 1107.

3. On 4th sept 07 there is incoming call from[protected] there is five incoming call from this number. I made outgoing of Rs. 750.Here my bill is increased for Rs. 642.
Surprisingly the only Two phones that were clear and came through in Spain were from your call centre. which makes it seem like it is vodaphones policy was to make the customer pay more for outgoing calls(Rs 127 as against Rs 27 for incoming calls) hence the request to a fair billing.
All these facts indicate that these calls had to be made due to faulty Vodafone service and I had repeatedly requested you to look into the matter and correct the scene. And I am willing to settle the bill. My intension made clear as I already paid half the sum of the disputed amount.
Vodaphone has barred my incoming & outgoing service after my repeated request to your service centre. I am a businessman and your continuous failure of providing service to one of your oldest customer in the city is shocking & surprising.Further the recoreded message of vodaphone which says that all calls to this number are barred has tarnished my image in the market. This has further caused huge inconvenience in my business as well as big financial losses. It seems that Vodaphone has deliberately barred my outgoing and incoming. while you give this facility for any new prepaid customer for a nominal fee of Rs 499/-. Customer harassment seems to be the name of the game with Vodaphone.

I purchase a connection on 29, Nov., 2007 of vodafone from Lucknow.

But after 16 days, My connection is not connected yet.

I contact at [protected] but operator said that he can help only a pree paid consumer when I ask him to post paid help no. he refuse me.


This poor service is hurting us very extremely.

I bought a vodafone postpaid plan ST_kar_MV_Standard299 on 22/09/10. I was told by the vodafone store executive that I will get 800 free calls (STD+ Local) and 800 free messages (STD+ Local) per month with this plan. I used nearly 300 free messages on the very first day of buying the plan. When I saw the bill, I have been charged for around 230 messages. When I visited the vodafone store, they tell me that my billing cycle starts from after the two days of buying plan, so they are charging two days rental + calculating the free messages alloted for two days and charging me for the rest of messages. They dint tell me this fact when I purchased the plan. They are giving me a bill of 2 days now. I couldnt understand this. It might be the rule but they need to tell me this in advance when I buy the plan. In case, I have used all my free calls and messages in just the first two days and eventually all these will be chargeable, I would get a heavy bill. I am very upset with this service. I bought a postpaid connection for the first time and I feel cheated. Whatever happened to me looks unfair to me. Kindly look into the matter.

    My mobile no. is [protected]. I was charged Rs. 4.50 for the call on local mobile (999899****) on 08/04/2011 9:00 p.m. for the call duration 3:59 min.
    I have made inquiry of the same in Vodafone Customer Care. I was called that the call duration for the same is 4:01 sec thus the charges deducted from my a/c is for 5 minutes. I am using Samsung B3410 handset which indicates call duration 3:59 minutes.
    Why this type of time difference is occured & I have been charges extra 1 minutes charges?????
    always the Vodafone charges the excess 1 minute charge in case of 00:59 secs.

      Hi Team,

      I am a deeply disappointed ex-customer of Vodafone. I had a great
      regard on Vodafone until recently. I would like to share a few words
      lastly.I have received demand notice after cancellation of the connection.

      Neither could I imagine that Vodafone would go so low nor did I know
      it is very customary and normal for Vodafone with this kind of
      Customer Service. I knew from the below link about Vodafone Customer
      service.

        My name is Ankur R Srivastava & I'm working with HCL TECHNOLOGIES NOIDA.

        I have a number of issues which i'm facing regarding this data card which i will illustrate one by one. I had raised so many requests but to no avail.

        The issue / problems that I'm facing with this data card are :

        Speed that was promised : I was promised the speed up to 3.1MBps but since the time I got this data card i.e. 22nd March 2011. I have never ever received the required speed. The speed I get is as follows:
        Download : 0.2kbps - 1kbps
        Browsing : 5kbps - 10kbps

        Regarding this I had raised a request on 26th March 2011 & the technical guy said he had raised a request to reset my network profile & to wait for 24 hrs. I waited for 24 hrs & then again tested my data card. But still there was no improvement in the speed. I called once again to the technical dept. at 55666 & said that still the problem is persisting. He told me to go to start ---> Run ----> msconfig ---> services ----> hide all Microsoft programs ----> disable all. He told me to restart the computer & wait for 15 min so that all services are stopped & configuration takes place. I restarted the computer & waited for half an hour & then inserted the data card & tried to surf but still the same problem persists. So i called 55666 again, this time the executive said that from their end every thing has been done & that i need to walk at Vodafone store to get my data card checked.

        I went to Vodafone store & they told me that 3G is not yet launched in our area & that is why I'm unable to get 3.1MBps but they also mentions that i should be getting the 2G / Edge speed of 383Kbps but i told them that I'm just getting the speed of 5-10Kbps so he said that its not the problem of SIM but its the technical problem.

        Call from Backend Team: After coming from Vodafone store i spoke with Sohaib of the technical Dept & he said he has once raised this issue with the networking dept & I would be getting a call from Backend team as well as the networking team but to my dismay i didn't get a call from any of the department. I waited for their call for the entire day and night but neither of the department gave a call back.

        The next day i gave a call to 55666 & avinash told that you should get the 3G services deactivated & the you would get the required speed. I called the customer care at 111 & got my 3G deactivated & waited for another 24 hrs to get my services deactivated. I again inserted the data card & tested my browsing & downloading speed but still the problem remains the same.
        Is this what you mean by customer satisfaction. Whatever you people promise is not fulfilled & people find excuses to blame it either on Vodafone store or Networking Dept or Backend team. Since the day i have got this card my problems have not yet been resolved till date & instead its been rising.

        Calling to nodal officer: I also tried calling your number as well as other nodal officers too ut no one picks up the call or the line is busy. Is this the way you people handle the customers. Just market Mimic would not suffice. Customers should be satisfied with the services you provide. Making excuses by blaming one or the other department wont help. Taking initiative is the thing that solves the problem but in this case i regret to say that this thing doesn't happen at all. I have tried calling you so many times & so many days but no one responds. What's going on in Vodafone!!!!!! How come the best network provider has become the worst customer satisfaction centre???????


        Refund of data card: I need no more hassles now. Either you get this issue resolved till Tuesday or send me a executive to get the data card returned with 1500/- . I'm really fed up & frustrated with this thing since the time I have got this data card. I got this data card as i am already a customer having two postpaid connections [protected] &[protected]. So i preferred to go with this data card.

        However i noticed the speed of MTS data card & its excellent. Moreover they send the executive if the customer faces any trouble. I'm not saying this as bluff, it's because I have seen it with my colleague & the problem is resolved the very next day whereas here the problem is still the same since 22nd march 2011.

        Vodafone - Network Service Provider — Vodafone Network (is so?) busy or they have old technology!!!

        Whenever I call from my vodafone no. to some other operator's nos. I always get "Network Busy" message. This is really irritating. It often happens in the evening. Even I cannot get connected to vodafone nos. in group calling in the evening many times. Another thing is I cannot call to "111" their vodafone care no. Whenever I call to this no. from my Nokia-Vodafone 6234 mobile, I get a message "Attempting to call Emergency No." I booked this complaint earlier (atleast a year ago) to them thru customer care, but they could not resolve it. Recently I booked complaint thru their local gallery and awaiting their call.
        Has anyone in India noticed their bill - Under Talk to us they are providing no.[protected] which on calling gives message that "This no. does not exists'. Shall I say that international co. Vodafone and it's people are only for the sake of collecting money and not interested in upkeeping their technology and systm of working. Can't they update their database and outgoing documents?
        The whole episode is very irritating. I lost lot of business and patience in the transaction. Does vodafone has got answer?

        vodafone india/usb data card — stopping my services without reason

        i have paid 6000 rs for using wireless internet usb data card for a tenure of one year(12 months)in which i am supposed to get 1 gb free every month.but the company stops the the services every now and then claiming my unbilled usage is high and exceeds my credit limit even if i have not consumed my 1 gb claiming that its there computerised system and cant do anything abt. it.they haressed me to so extent that i had to make interim deposit of 2000 rs.even after that they are stopping my services before my 1gb usage and asking for more deposit.so pls do something about it.
        seriously vodafone is never willing to help...nd the speed of their edge network is indeed very slow

        Vodafone — Unnecessary Charge/Promises not fulfilled / Poor Service

        This is Muzammail Mohd. Shareef with Vodafone Mobile Number [protected].
        As I already booked a complaint two weeks ago about the poor service, but no necessary action is taken.
        Now Vodafone super weeks is in its third week were I can use Gmail/Yahoo mail for free of cost, and since yesterday I have been trying to connect to internet to use this offer but I'm experiencing difficulties and the page is not redirecting me to gmail/yahoomail even 3 rupees from my account is deducted while I was trying to connect. First, I was not able to connect to internet to utilize this offer and second the offer is free of cost then why the hell on earth they have deduced my 3 rupees?
        I want my amount to be reimbursed in my account and the problem to be fixed asap so that I can get benefited from the offer of Super Weeks. Vodafone Customer care call fixed this problem and call me with the resolution else I will take this matter to the attorney general.

        And also I'm trying to call the CC 198 but they have blocked my number to call 198 and I am not able to call them.

        I am Sachin Goyal from Palwal (Haryana). I was thinking of purchasing Vodafone datacard. But after reading your concern, I cancelled to purchase it.

        Ankur I suggest you to UNLOCK your datacard by paying Rs 100 to 150. and switch to other network by inserting SIM of other service provider.

        In Haryana, Charges are:-

        BSNL SIM- Rs. 20/-
        Activation Charges- Rs. 48/-
        Monthly Prepaid Recharge for internet- Rs. 98/- (Free Usage-3 GB for 1 Month)

        I think, U can Purchase Airtel SIM to use internet in NCR. They are providing good services.

        Hi this grievance regarding my Vodafone no. [protected]. I don’t know what worst words I can use regarding Vodafone customer care services. From your sales executive to customer care everyone is making fool to customers; the most worst thing about customer care is when they don’t know anything there favorite excuse is “server/system not working, pl. call after two hours”.
        I bought a Vodafone USB data internet card after research from net and few friends’ feedback. When Vodafone sales person contacted me and apprised there is very good plan “249 unlimited usauge” with upto 342 kbps bandwidth speed. As in their (Vodafone sales executive) influence and trust I bought USB data card along with mentioned plan. Here I would like to mention though repeatedly asking about bandwidth, sales executive informed that I will not face any issue regarding bandwidth.
        Now after 72 hours when my data card activates my life become hell from here. When I connected USB stick though it showing connected but I am not able to even open fastest search engine google.com in one shot; it take almost 45 seconds to complete re-load Google .com. In first view I think there is some issue with my laptop but I was wrong, the same thing happens to my desktop as well as two other laptops. Lastly when I measured my bandwidth with different tools it surprised me!! My bandwidth is coming between 40-60 kbps 
        Now as customer (who have always lot of time to search around right customer care to talk about issue) called 111 to lodged my complant regarding speed issue, here I got informed this is not the right place to call so given other no. [protected]. Here your most valuable customer care team member told me this not right no. to call just dial 98119811, when called on this number AVR machine asked me to enter my Vodafone mobile no. and then press *, when dialed, a sweet voice informed me that this is invalid no. Then I again called on [protected], here this time I become luckiest person and customer care executive give me information about my data plan but regret to lodge my complaint so given another no. 198 to register my complaint. Now when dialed on this no. executive put me hold for 9 minutes then call disconnected. But still I did not declare myself defeat in this war; again I called on same no. (198) this time call waiting time was 5 minutes but during starting of conversation call disconnected. Still this time I yet don’t know whether I dialed right no. or not?
        Now I feel I am the only culprit behind this entire saga; I did the biggest mistake to opt for Vodafone. To know all above my grievance, if you guys (Vodafone) still have any will or intention to help me then please give me right no. where I can call to register my complaint regarding slow bandwidth

          yesterday i am using a vodafone internet and download a game but i cant download a game but game charges dedict about rs100 i am tocking to caustomer care again &again but not resonce you suggest what can i do.

          I had got a free caller tune card when i had purchased Hutch sim card. so i activated it(which was free for 45 days). now these people hav changed that song and they are deducting money from my prepaid account.plz i want an explanation from the company.
          I was recharged my [protected] at rupees 100/- + Bonus card rupees 37/-for UP,Bihar,Jharkhand & Gujrat on 18 Dec 07, but all call charged @ of rupees 2.65 per minute. Your all add and publicity was false. At present your cusumer care take no response.My complaints Nos are[protected] dt 27 Dec[protected] dt 31 Dec[protected]Jan08. Please intimate present position of the complaint. It will be solved or not.
          i have mobile no.[protected].isent msg on no.[protected]this national no. but co. charged international charges on that. after so many visits on their local shop they did n't attended my complaint. even they disturb me frequently.As per co.'s advertisment in newspapers the co. will charge Rs. 1 on celebraty days like chritmas gurupurab etc beside the package taken by the customer. but co. charged on msgeg on the eve of new year without informing the customer

          Vodafone — add extra charges without services mobile bill

          hello sir/madam,
          I am rajesh kumar my mobile no. is [protected] punjab. i have big problem according to mobile bill.
          i take a combo pack @ 50 last year in 2008. suddenly in november month of 2008 this service alerts stopped by vf. but they charged me every month 50 rupess. when i talk with cc they told me its my fault. i send them sms to closed this services. but at present this service is activated on my mobile. but i am closed this service. they are charged me 50 rupess, and they activa cricket service @ 30 . but i am not applied to give me thats services. vodafone closed my coustmer care service. what i am doing.its request to you plz do something. thank you

          Hutch /Vodafone — Complaint for false charges

          I have contacted to call center of vodafone service provider for false deduction from my pre paid phone no [protected]. The details of deductions are as under:-

          1- deducted on 17 June 2010 Rs 9.00 at 10.45am
          2- 24 June 2010 Rs 1.00 at 07.45am
          3 26.June 2010 Rs 7.00 at 07.45 am

          Please look into this because i am facing great problem as their customer care department is not responding properly. Please make the vodafone to refund the same with harassment charges.

          This is regarding the malpractice done by the so called great company....VODAFONE...... they keep sending you messages and calls for having caller tunes, even if you keep refusing they just put a caller tune to your fonr and you just get the message that you have been charged Rs 30/- for the same and will continue to charge Rs 30/- every month and even when you call them they won't take it off.

          Its just fleecing the customer for Rs30/- Just imagine how much money they are collecting by just doing it without even the customers permission.

          I am complining u about the company's facilities provides as vodafone Tuesday:

          1. User has to sent a message to the company by writing the SMS as TUESDAY M to 56789
          2. Then the will reply us with one M Coupon which user can show that sms to the selected store and can get a 1 ticket for movie free.
          3. I sent the message six times but they sent the same welcome message message six times and charges for that as Rs 18.
          4. The content of the message is :

          Welcome to vodafone tuesday! Enjoy Buy 1 get 1 free offers every tuesday. To get your m coupon reply with TUESDAY M for movies , TUESDAY F for food to 56789. Win 10 lakhs! Play the cricket competition at Rs 2/day . Dial *567*880#

          Dear Sir,

          My name is Rakesh Hirpara. I am from Surat, Gujarat. My mobile number is [protected]. I have Vodafone Postpaid Connection.

          I am in a big problem. Vodafone sends bills everymonth for the services which I do not use. They are charging Rs.91 everymonth for 750 free minutes, I have not activated this service and when I told them to refund my money, they refused to do so.

          I come from middle class family, I never require the value added services like missed call alert, etc. still they activate this type of services and take charges from us.

          Last month I activated a GPRS plan of Rs.149 in which they give 2GB free surfing. I use my net on mobile still they charge Rs.1300 last month for net. I hardly use my net. How can the limit of 2GB exceeds ?

          Please help me to get my money back. I would not have complained if this happens me for one time. It happens with me everytime.

          It it not my problem. It is the problem of all the middle class persons like me and It is not happened with the customers of only one company. Almost every mobile company does this.

          I have very much faith in you. I hope you will listen to my complain and take necessary steps. You are my last hope.

            This is to bring to your notice that I had a postpaid connection ( No: [protected]) from Vodafone (Pune) in[protected]. It was a CUG connection during my employment with WNS GS Pune and my billing mode was ECS.
            However this number was discontinued after I shifted to Jaipur in 2009. Also according to your CSA the number is marked as ‘De-Active’ since SEP’09 (as confirmed on[protected] at Vodafone store, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur).
            Kindly note that, despite the number NOT IN USE, a variable billing amount is being generated every month and an ECS payment is getting deducted from my account till date.
            To resolve the problem I would appreciate, firstly to stop the ECS deductions with immediate effect, and secondly to refund the entire amount generated post Sep’09, along with interest. (A telephonic compliant has also been lodged to Mr. Imran on 07-04-11, Doc no:[protected].
            I look forward to your reply and a resolution of my problem, failing which we will have to resort to legal action.

            For my phone, I have been using Vodafone service. When I got my service changed from Pre Paid to post paid Plan, I was promised and given in writing that no caller line identification charges would be charged for life time. However, since last 2 months, suddenly caller indentification charges are being added in my bill.

            I have brought this anomaly to vodafone's notice by registering complaint on your helpline and also in Vodofone shop. However, it has been over 1 1/2 months, however, I haven't heard from Vodafone. I have also submitted the confirmation provided by Hutch/Vodafone for my post paid plan, specifying no CLIP charges would be layed. It is disappointing and regretful that Vodafone has not paid any heed to the complaint over so many days, and has been adopting fradulent practise of billing (against what is giving in writing to customer).
            they have done cheating by wrongly levied charges and on talking to vodafone callcenter they say to visit vodafone store and talk about the same and during visit to vodafone store they have confirmed me that the same will be reversed and on receiving the bill the same was not done even thought it was confirmed to me and again while contacting to the call center they say to visit vodafone store.

            This all is cleating and they does such tricks to harass the customer

            I am a vodafone user from Mumbai and I am very UNHAPPY with the current responses/support I received. The way I was treated was appalling. I would not like to continue any more with vodafone. Thus, I submitted a port request and today I got an SMS mentioning : "The number or range is in contractual obligations"

            Well, I have paid my bills to date and have no pending amount on my number. In fact, I cant even call from my number [protected] to the 111 customer care number. Seems like I have been blocked from talking to anyone; though, I can listen to the IVR options. This is an insult to a 8 years old customer.

            I had simply objected to a huge bill (on the number [protected]) which vodafone charged me for using vodafone live. They say I watched TV-- yes, I did try to see the cricket matches live during the ICC world cup. And, the whole world knows that the visibility was almost null. I was not able to see anything and I kept the mobile TV turned on. I was also under the impression that this is free as a trial and then I see that they want me to pay around Rs6000 for this.


            I still paid the whole amount and before due date. Nothing is pending. I CLEARED ALL BILLS AND UNBILLED USAGE ON BOTH MY NUMBERS.

            I got couple of complaint numbers after I called on 111 from a friends number. The person attending to the call said I would get the numbers freed up in 24 hours and then I got an SMS stating that I will get an answer to my query by Monday and the SMS includes the same complaint numbers which the rep gave me on phone.

              Hi..ihave recently moved to Delhi..and took a Vodafone corporate connection....no. [protected]....person came to my residence for verification..but no one was there at home during that time..so they barred the outgoing due to negative verification. I called up the customer care and asked for the re-verification to be done. for next 4 days I was at home..nobody turned up... i again called the customer care and was told that verification had been negative again..as no one was at home...which is crap...i was at home for the entire day...i asked them to raise the request again for verification...person came nexty day at my home....my wife was there..after taking the information..he said the outgoing will be activated in few hours....more than 30 hrs passed still the outgoing is barred. I called customer care to register my complain..they refused to register the complain and instead asked me to wait till 10:00 am next morning....i then called up 198...person told me that the number is showing active...i told him that i cannot make the calls..he asked me to hold for sometime and then simply disconnected the call....i called back the customer care again and was conveniently told that I will have to visit a Vodafone store to re-submit the documents...as if I have ample of time for all this crap....


              Vodafone is truly one of the worst service provider....but my bad luck is that they are the corporate service provider for my organization...

                I am Namit sharma, was using Vodafone services on the number # [protected] till 25 feb 2011 then I port my no. to Airtel after making last bill payment which was 1264/- (My Billing cycle was 19th of every month) and I paid 1300/- on around 21st of Feb. (Rs.36 extra). then my no. was migrated in Airtel....so basicly i am suppose to pay for 5-6 day to Vodafone.
                But today I got msg saying 'ur Voda bill is due pls pay 1976/- to avoid the suspension of services.'
                Then I called to cust.care they said ur nov.-10 bill is pending, this was really a pathetic nd shocking movement for me...coz I have been paying the bill always no bill was pending on me. This is just a Common sense If i wudn't have made the payment so how was i using the Out going nd Incoming till 25th Feb (even after more than 3 months) and let me bring in ur knowledge one thing if v didn't clear our outstanding v can not Port our number its as simple as that....its just the matter of common sense..
                I request you to kindly solve the issue ASAP and arrange a confirmation call against that.

                  I have vodafone no & when i went to vodafone store sec - 3 rohini delhi for convert my no into prepaid ,they change my plan instead of convert my no & commit so many facility like no clip charges , cheap calls & convert my plan to advance rental plan from Jan 2011 onwards.

                  But From jan 2011 my bill not generate accordingly they commitment & i went there so many times & every time they said it will adjust in next bill ,but never adjust till now..

                  Finally in Mar'11 I change my no into prepaid & I bear a loss of Rs 1500 /- for advance rental plan....

                  I requested to all readers that not believe on Vodafone Store employees for any commitment....

                    I am trying to port my vodafone number which I am using since last October to Docomo and for doing so I send the msg (PORT [protected]) to receive my code but everytime I am sending the message I am getting a reply like ”Hello! The number you are requesting for porting is allocated for our internal purposes.Hence please contact our customer care for further details” and so accordingly I contact the customer number several times and everytime they told that wait for few hours it will be done but in reality nothing is being done.I want to change my network but the vodafone is not allowing me to do so I want to register a complain against Vodafone for not allowing me to port my number although according to the new Govt. rule mobile number portability is applied all over India.Please inquire and take action accordingly

                          Hi,

                          I had migrated my connection from postpaid into prepaid on 24th Mar, 2011. At the time of conversion, I was told that the plan charges would be 1p/sec and then I need to recharge my number. On 26th Mar, 2011, prior to my first recharge, I called up Customer Care (111) THRICE and each time I was CONFIRMED with the same tariff plan of 1p/sec. As a result, I recharged my number with Rs 99 Lifelong Validity.

                          Three days later, when my balance reached Rs 0.06, I got to know that I am being charged Rs 1/min instead of the plan I was confirmed. I tried calling up Customer Care and Complaint numbers, however, there seems to be some problem with that due to which I could not speak with the executive.

                          Later, I wrote my concern with customer care through email. To this I received a very stupid and foolish answer that I need to recharge my number with Bonus Card 28. Even I am aware of this plan and the benefits of it.

                          My concern is why was I wrongly communicated regarding my tariff plan. Had they updated me correctly, I would have gone ahead with the [protected]@28 recharge instead of Rs 99 Lifelong validity.

                          Request an immediate reply from a responsible officer of Vodafone.

                          Please provide me your email id through which I can share my contact details.

                            I have a vodafone postpaid connection of Goa. Currently i am in delhi so my connection is on roaming. But the sim shows Emergency calling and when i try calling my number from some other cell, it says switched off.

                            I tried calling the customer care but they say you have to call from a postpaid number to be directed to a postpaid customer centre. I dont have any other postpaid connection. Please help

                                I have purchased a Vodafone 3G USB Data Card on 7th March 2011, from Borivali. At the time of purchase I was told that I will be getting a speed of 358 Kbps and also that 3G service will be available soon. But When i started using the USB Data Card, the speed was horrible. I was not even able to open yahoo page and moreover the speed was just 3.5-4.0 kbps.

                                I tried to call Customer Care but as usual they told me to call on different number which I am never able to connect.

                                Don't Opt for Vodafone ....its horrible...

                                I brought a 3g data card usb from VODAFONE promising me to give speed more than 40 KBps with monthly rental of 400 rupees. But when i used it gives me pathetic speed of 4Kbps . Ifeel cheated after spending 1600 for USB

                                So anybody thinking to buy VODAFONE 3G USB stick i would recommend them NOT TO BUY this product
                                it's not just abt speed ...

                                the voda software that comes with stick, is also confusing ...

                                1) the stick is for internet but there's no provision to stop using your talk-time balance
                                2) there is no provision to know your internet balance
                                3) no provision in informing the user when the internet balance get finished up
                                4) no provision in informing the user when the talktime balance get finished up

                                so, in the name o[censored]sing internet balances the stick actually ends up using the costlier talktime balance on it's own.

                                Interestingly, (even if there's no network or you have removed the voda stick ), the vodafone propreitary software if kept running, shows the local wifi connection status. which is not sold by voda at all.

                                    How is it possible to go to the shop again and again and when the mistake is also from thier end.

                                    I should not call first of all this service as CUSTOMER CARE... Forget CARE, they don't even give a damn to Customers... On 25th October 2006, I experienced the worst Customer Care service provided by Hutch in Bangalore. I have been a Hutch Customer in Mumbai also. And where, I must say, both the network service and the hutch customer service is the best, compared to any other cellular operator.

                                    With this facts keeping in my mind only; when I shifted to Bangalore, I took a HUTCH connection. The network service is fine... But the customer service... Ohhh my god... The Customer Care no. 111 itself is not reachable, forget about other numbers. The worst scenario was on 25th October 2006, where I was refused a connection to 111 no. at least 100 times for entire evening (From 7 PM to 11 PM, after that I slept... :). If somebody in urgency needs to contact customer care... Then I am sure he may end up in trauma before the call actually gets connected. Luck by chance. If he has given a connection to 111, then he must wait till eternity to reach up to customer care executive... That was also a scenario, I experienced yesterday on 25th October 2006 where I got connected to 111 by chance, and I waited for 12 minutes for customer care executive to speak up. Initially HUTCH showed me some courtesy to make me listen to some music and a taped message saying "HUTCH Customer Care Service Executive will attain me in a short (?) while". After 10 minutes, tape also stopped and Music vanished... What the hell is this service...
                                    My sim had been locked it was showing enter the puk number when i made a call to coustmer care & get the puk number but she dint gave me the pin no which i had to fill after puk number and when i enter puk no. it was showing enter new pin no. & i filled 12345 twice after that it is showing sim rejected .                                     My self N.Srinivas, a vodafone prepaid mobile customer, with no. [protected].
                                    Since one month, i have not the phone (i.e. no outcoming/incoming). I was using the sim only for the purpose to call US/Canada with a voucher of 2500/- world calling card, took in june'2009, with validity of 9months(expires by march end'2010).Till last month, when i used the phone, the balance was around Rs.700/-.

                                    Now, if I insert the sim, it is showing Registration failed.When I contacted ur customer care outlet store personally and 24/7 care on phone, i got the reply that the no is deactivated. It will be activated with another sim with same no but with zero balalnce.

                                    This is ridiculous on ur part that till the validity period, the balance(talk time) on phone, becoming zero for the reason not using the phone for one month. It is my wish to use/not use the phone. It is accpeted that, if phone is not in use, that can be under dormant status/deactivated, but once it is activated the balalnce talk time should be available.

                                    Please clarify on this and activate the sim immediately.

                                    I am a vodafone customer for past six years.I activated 14 rupees pack to access internet for three days.
                                    I found that due to continues accesss of internet my balance had gone down to Rs: -13 (negative). so i received a info as no packet data available contact your network and then internet got disconnected. So i left and slept. this is happened at 12:35 AM. Then to my shock i found that i am unable to access the network with the info as "Your SIM registration failed", when i contacted customer care they say that my mobile balance is Rs: -1111, I cannot believe this, I found my balance as -13 at 12:35 AM.But they say as my internet was accesssed till 3:00 AM how can this happen even after the disconnection of the internet at 12:35 AM.

I have not used the service from vodafone but my sim is not regisration fail my num is deactiveted i am useing this from 4 Yers .i bought the same to the notice to the local vender but they are saying that the sim have been deactive i cannot use this service so plz kindly activet my sim.
                                    I requested for sim card change on 15th dec 12 after 2 to 6 days it got activated for couple of days and from then its showing Sim card registration fail i already lodged a complain on plain paper from the mini store still no action is been taken I m lossing my bussiness.

                                    please Re Register it.

                                    Currently i am in Pune, Maharashtra, but the issue is with my Karnataka Vodafone mobile number([protected]), which i am using from past 6 years, this around 4th time i requested for sim change for same number. From past 1 week i am following up with the mini store(in Bijapur) as he told he has lodged the complaint but still no response or action is been taken.

                                    Currently i am in Maharashtra, the same process is also told by the bijapur (Tanushree Communication) mini store to apply for the new/duplicate sim card, if at all i apply to get the new/duplicate sim card who will give me the Guarantee that it will not repeat the same(i.e. "Sim Card Registration Failed") error will not occur, as i have changed sim by 2 times now in year.
                                    what i need is permanent resolution. earlier your vodafone service use to be good now its becoming rediculous as a government office need to often run to the stores for the same issues.

                                    Below is my sim card number i request you to please Re register on the same number itself.

                                      As I called Vodafone customer care 0n 17.03.2011 and a lady spoke to me, I asked her that I have got 250 local & national free sms balance in my mobile, so need to recharge again for rupees 47 to get 4700 loc & Nat sms free, is it possible to add my 250 balance free sms to 4700sms if I recharge now for Rs.47. then that lady told definitely it is possible if you activate the free sms from your mobile by dialing *555*47#, I did the same and Rs.47 deducted from my mobile, but 250 balance free sms not added, then again I called customer care & complained regarding my 250 free sms is not added with new 4700 sms then that lady told she will activate that & after finishing this 250 free sms automatically the 4700 free sms will be activated. On 19.03.2011 the 250 free sms has been finished, and started to go Re.1 for every loc sms & Rs.1.5 for Nat sms, Again I called customer care and informed 19th 3 times, 20th once & 21st mar 2011 once, after shouting only they activated that too by canceling my old 250 free sms.



                                      I lost my money from my mob for sending sms on that 3 days, and I lost 250 sms which I paid money on 22nd feb 2011, and mentally I suffered on 20th March 2011 that day was Ind vs WI world cup match, I was unable to send scores for my National friends who were asking me. Because of careless vodafone Kerala customer care peoples.

                                        Hello,

                                        We went to Vodafone store located at MG road Pune to inquire about 3g service.

                                        The guy whoss job was to provide information started giving a hard time, without any reason. he denied to accept that my number exists and would not enter details on his computer. he pushed us to limits and then himself got hyper and started throwing obnoxious statements at us, when we got got back at him he started yelling and abusing amidst of all people present there, then 3 people all wearing Vodafone uniform came to attack us but sneaked out before it could get worse.

                                        We thought if we take it up to Zonal and Nodal officers they will take some action.

                                        But as they simply wanted to suppress this, they started playing word games and trick us.

                                        What company has right to abuse a customer with strong foul words.

                                        I got calls from customer executives from voafone who claimed to be zonal officers in the beginning but later admitted that they were lying.

                                        I have emails from vodafone where they have accepted everything what happened but refused to take any actions. It's been 2 months we tried to get hold of Nodal and Zonal officers but to our disappointment they even added to our disgust.

                                        If any news channel, media house etc... is out there to put some light on such service, please feel free to contact me. We have emails as proof where they accepted that customer was abused, humiliated and attempted to attack on asking for some information about their own phone number and in same emails they have denied to take any actions, apologized for fake calls from vodfone guys claiming to be Zonal / Nodal officers.

                                        This is a serious issue and must be brought to attention of every Indian. I wonder who will help us take some strict actions against them and their unfair, illegal activities? Knock Knock India ...someone out there to help?
