I have a Vodafone dongle, model K3570-Z which i purchased 19-march-2011 with unlimited plan @ of price 500/- pm. i got it activated 24-march-2011, with in 24 hours my connection was closed. i called customer care and got the information i have used my maximum usage and my connection is barred. at the time of purchase i have been told that my plan is unlimited downloading. but i m facing the problem with my dongle now. my Vodafone dongle number is [protected].my contact number [protected]. so please i am looking forward for your utmost reply.

Dear Friends,

I have purchase vodafone dongle, model K3570-Z from one authorized dealer of our town. My issue is that i am not saisfied with the speed of internet. The Broadband of BSNL was good in comparision of vodafone dongle. In my network the connection shows speed of vodafone is 3.6 Mbps but the actual speed is may be 200 Kbps. I viewing this Vodafone company is doing fraud with customers by advertising wrong impression of product.

As per my personal experience i am not suggesting any one to buy this.

    Myself Ritika Khurana, a customer of vodafone services. I have converted into vodafone from dolphin this january. My mobile no is [protected]. On 6th of march i used internet via wifi, but they deducted 100 for no reason. I tried customer care but that is the worst customer care i have ever seen. Then after few days if i send msg to more than 12 persons they deduct my balance. They have done it thrice. Even today they did the same. I have lost my rs 200 like this. I am not getting any response from their customer care. Its really not helping in any sense. If such negligence will continue, i am afraid to say that i have to leave vodafone and move the service provider with better customer care service.

      Hi All,

      Please be advise, I have raised a PORT-OUR request for my Vodafone # [protected] several times, but it has been denied from your end every time, I have also visited your stores each time when you dint approve the port-out request.

      I want an explanation on this issue. What actually is wrong with my number its not a fancy number. Why are you not approving my request.

      I am not a fool to visit your store and tell them about my request. Every time I visit they say me theses time the request will be approved.

      Make sure this time I am given a proper reply and the reason for rejection.

      My intension in writing this Complaint.... to make other understand what problem they will face while the want to PORT-OUT..... so its better to take a new connection instead vasting time with VODAFONE.

          I am using Vodafone Cellphone Connection and I am trying to port to BSNL. But whenever, I send a porting request to 1900, the message is not getting delivered and remains as PENDING.
          If anybody knows where I can lodge a complain it will be useful.
          I am not at all interested in continuing with VODAFONE.

          Vodafone cellular services — Deficiency of Service: Not providing numbers to which SMS (115 nos.) was sent from my cell phone

          Bill Amount : Rs. 1029.76

          In the above bill, messaging charges was indicated as Rs. 638.50 of which International SMS amount was Rs. 575.00 against 115 no. of messages.
          I strongly suspect that I didn't make 115 no. international SMS and asked Vodafone Customer Care to provide me details of numbers to which I have sent SMS enabling to verfiy if they were indeed sent by me. (There was no sent message records in my phone for the 115 no SMS).

          Despite repeated requests through mails and phone calls, Vodafone refused to provide the numbers to which SMS were sent, saying all the messages were originated from my SIM card only. Further, they could provide only details of calls made from my phone with numbers called on payment of Rs. 70/=. I reiterated my need for knowing the numbers to which SMS were said to be sent from my phone and was ready to pay Rs. 70/= for the same but Vodafone declined. Their tone and attitude was "Either take it or leave it". I have mails from Vodafone which can be forwarded, if need be.

          Meanwhile, in Dec-2008 around 16th Dec if I remember correct, my phone stopped working with a message "please insert SIM card" displayed on screen. I was forced to visit Vodafone service centre in Four Bunglows, Andheri(W), Mumbai for getting this problem solved. They then replaced my SIM card after which it is working alright. The old SIM card was retained by Vodafone and I strongly doubt that someone has mis-used that SIM card or my billing is wrong or somebody has hacked to make 115 nos. SMS from my phone.

          I am unable to verify the genuiness of the 115 SMSs unless Vodafone provides me with the numbers to which I am said to have sent the SMS.

          My submission is that this is service deficiency from Vodafone since they have NOT provided me the details I have asked for but have asked me to PAY.

          1. I need the numbers to which 115 SMSs were sent.
          2. Refund of extra amount charged.

          The payment was made by cheque on 14.01.09 in Vodafone Four Bunglows, Andheri West Mumbai Service Centre Vending Machine and receipt got.

          Around 18th Dec, I got a call from Vodafone to make payment. I explained that it was already done before due date and gave chq no.

          From 22nd Jan 2008, a highly IRRITATING recorded messages have started when I dial outgoing call that my bill is outstanding and payment should be made etc...

          I called up Vodafone Customer Care and one "Ali" attended. He said I have to send an SMS to stop the recorded message and their system shows no payment received. I was NOT ready to do that extra work as it was not my fault. During the discussions with Ali (around 11:15 AM on 22.01.09) the line got disconnected and I waited to see if he would call back. He Didn't. During the conversation he clearly mentioned that unless I sent the SMS, the recorded irritating message will NOT stop and he couldn't do anything else.

          Since Ali didnt call back, I rang up customer care again and one "Pradeep" attended. He said that the system shows my conversation with Ali and explained him my problem and what transpired with Ali. He was very helpful and said I need not sent any SMS and that he was doing the needful to stop the recorded message and it would be done in 15 minutes. I appreciated his helping nature and concluded thinking there is at least someone who understands but little I knew they were all FALSE promises. Till 23rd (TODAY) morning the recorded message didn't stop and finally I was forced to sent the SMS as desired after which the recorded message stopped. After sometime, another message came saying that they have received my chq and will be credited subject to realisation (after 8 days of my paying).

          Further, if anyone noticed, none in any customer care centre shows they are "Happy to Help"...their faces and actions are such that their tag line should change to "HATE TO HELP".

          So much for their customer care promises and it is absolutely repulsive!

          I AM USING VODAFONE MOBILE SERVICE.
          I HAVE A PROBLEM ABOUT SMS.
          I SEND SMS TO ANY VIDEOCON NUMBER SMS NOT DELIVER TO THEM.
          FROM OTHER COMPANY IT DELIVERS.
          I COMPLAIN TI TO CUSTOMER CARE BUT THERE IS NO SOLUTION FOR IT.
          PLEASE DO SOMETHING.

            Hi,

            This is Abhinav Mishra. My contact No. is [protected]. I want to port out from the Vodafone services. But Vodafone is not allowing me to post out. They are indulging me in contractual agreement Obligation. I paid all the dues and deactivated all the addon services. But still they are not giving me specific reason not to port out. I went to the Vodafone shop on 19th March2011 at hyper city mall they canceled the contractual agreement on my #. They assured me that the contractual agreement is deactivated from now onward. But today as on 24th March2011 i call the customer care and again to confirm. They told me that it is again activated on 23rdMarch2011. I asked for the reason but they fail to give me clarification. Kindly give the solution for this harassment. I found the Vodafone services are worse.

            So what I did was searched through TRAI website where i can make formal complaints and for your relief you can make formal complaints to first a nodal officer and then to the Appellate Authority
            I have send a formal email to the nodal officer at vodafone today and waiting for their response

            Hey thanks for sharing your views. I sent the mail to the vodafone nodel as suggested by you.I already sent the email to the TRAI. but all are loosers. No reply reply from those. TRAI is also not taking these complains seriously. Vodafone itself is ruining its market value by not supporting their costomers. Vodafone is the worst service provider i have ever found till now date. Beleave me friends. Never go for the vodafone servives

            It's two days past but no one contacted me. I want something in written from vodafone. If you guys deactivated the contractual agreement obligation, so why vodafone can't give the approval in written? Still vodafone showing unprofessional approach.

              Hi,

              For last more than a month, I have been trying to follow up with Vodafone store rep for an issue on which I have got no updates from him despite repeated follow ups.
              The problem is that I have not been able to make any local or STD calls from my cell despite changing the SIM card and putting the SIM in a different handset. The irony is that I am not able to make any calls to vodafone customer care number also. The Vodafone store rep named Hamza who works in Kandivali East, Thakur Village (Mumbai) store told me that the technical team is looking into it howeverit's been more than 2 weeks that he has not been updating me.. the problem is I can't even get through to his number from my cell. The message that I get is either "Network busy" or "Error in connection" however i can receive calls from any number though. I have been messaging this store rep who does not update me on this issue.

              Please help me else i will get rid of your services and share my bad experience with all my known people around.

              Note : Have already sent mails to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com; Sushma.[protected]@vodafon​e.com and vodafonecare.[protected]@vod​afone.com however no response from anywhere at all.

              Hi,

              I am also facing exactly the same problem. Got the same responses from vodafone - replaced sim, technical team is looking into it, but no solution.

              Not sure what to do.

                This is Manjunath G N from Bangalore having Vodafone postpaid connection with mobile number [protected]. i have requested their executive to let me know the procedure for MNP and the amount to be paid by calling their Customer care in January. I have placed 'n' number of complaints on the same. every time, i will be told that their executive will get back to me with in 24 to 48 hrs of span. but, i wont get any calls from them. I have written mail to 'Corpcare.[protected]@vodafone.com' too 10 days back. i didnot get any response for that also. So, i request you to take serious action against them and teach them a lesson so that they wont repeat doing same. Thanks in advance for your help. Please, help me to get rid of this hopeless vodafone network as soon as possible. you can contact me in the above said number for any further information.

                  I hold a mobile no. [protected].
                  I had given a request for the waiver of my late payment charges of Rs. 100 for the January Month bill in January, had spoken to the customer care executive on the Vodafone care and he assured me that it will get waived off but it was reflecting in the month of February and again I had given a request for the same in March also where there was again the late payment charges were reflecting. So ideally i should given a waiver of 200 in my March bill.

                  I had called up regarding the same on 22nd March 2011, when I have shared my query with the Customer Care Executive (Vipin) he said he would transfer the call to his senior and he asked me to be on hold, which lasted for 45 mins. But even after 45 minutes (I think, its again the source of income for Vodafone now, since customer care calls are chargeable) also there was no answer, again I called back and some other Customer Care Executive (Raj) picked up the call and again he kept me on hold for 23 minutes, but there was no response. I called up again then the CCE (Ajmer Singh) transferred me to the Supervisor (Harish) who listen to me and assured me with the request no. [protected] that it will get waived off. When I inquired about the Black Berry rent which was charged in advance for the 2nd month and was suppose to get adjusted in the 2nd month bill, the supervisor was also not aware about the plan or the procedure and disconnected the call.

                  I think this is enough for anyone to avail the mobile number portability and switch over from Vodafone.

                  The services of Vodafone really SUCKS.................

                    I have been hammered by junk SMS from multiple sources, including BA-560007, LM*, etc for the past 3-4 weeks. As of today morning, a new form of Spam seems to have emerged - sending a Network Notification message for car scratch cleaning services! This is just beyond belief..aren't such "Network Notification" messages supposed to be sent just by your Network carrier?? So what level is Vodafone falling to or is this just a rogue employee? Regardless, Vodafone needs to keep a better check..

                      Hi,

                      I have been receiving an invoice from Vodafone for a number "[protected]" since last 3 months at my office address. I never applied for this connection and i think somebody submitted fraud document on my behalf. I am not sure how come Vodafone verfication department activated this number without proper verification. I was out of country (in USA) between 19th Nov '10 till 19 Feb '11 and i have stamp on my passport from immigration and air tickets for proof. Their billing department has been sending invoice to me repeatedly even though i informed their customer service department as soon as i arrived to india. Now i would like to file a case on the ground of fraud verification and mental harrasment and claim for compensation. Please let me know procedure to do so.

                      Vodafone — verification sought

                      I have been a Vodafone (Hutch) customer, since more than 4 years. For the last few months I am disturbed by the message for submission of identity proof (when contacted on[protected], it is pronouced as not valid).
                      Now I am getting calls from customer care to submit. Why should I again have to submit my id proof, for the blunder made at the database.

                      I will better shift to another service provider, which is offering good scheme. My number is[protected].

                      I am a very old customer of Vodafone i.e for the last 4years. Today I have recieved a message from Vodafone asking for verification. And also I called the Customer Care but nobody gave a proper response. Is this the kind of service you provide wherein the customer guy people does not know how to take a call?

                        I have received a bill this month with an amount of 1446 which is very surprising , When I called up the customer care the executive told
                        That an ISD call to some country (I do not remember the name) is made on 27th and 28th of feb which costs 1130 Rs

                        I have not made any ISD calls from my mobile phone not I share my phone with my family members ,

                        If you see my past 4 years bill record I am sure I have not used the ISD facility at all.

                        I have registered a complaint in Vodafone stores regarding the same and the complaint no is [protected]

                        All my 4 years trust in Vodafone is gone for a toss.

I HAVE SENT ATLEAST 21 MAILS AND SPOKE TWICE TO CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE ALSO BUT IT PROVED AS FUTILE EXCERCISE. EVERY MONTH I HAVE TO SPEND ATLEAST FOUR TO FIVE HOURS AND EXCHANGE SUCH IRRITATING MAILS.

                          I WOULD LIKE TO RELAY FOLLOWING MAIL SENT TO VODAFONE JUST FOR RETRIEVING MY MONTH POST BILL OF MY MOBILE FOR WHICH NONE OF NODAL OFFICER RESPOND . CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE SEND THEIR REPLIES WITHOUT READING THE MAIL IN FULL AND SEND STEREO TYPE MAILS AND THEY FORGET. EACH TIME NEW CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTIVE RESPOND WITHOUT GOING THREAD OF MAILS.
                          REFER COPIES OF MAILS SENT TO NODAL OFFICER/CUSTOMER SERVICE AS BELOW.

                              I use blackberry handset the day i have subscribed for unlimited blackberry internet plan.{rs 399} still my balance was wrongly deducted still, i hve deactivated black berry plan,gprs n vodafone live in short no relation with internet or gprs still till todays date my balance is been cutted, i came to knw about this when i typed five to 111,
                              regarding this i have mailled to the customer care through mail, visiting gallery regularly as if its my duty,n hve called to the customer care no. my problem is not solved, no revert, from last two months and they have also blocked my no so that i cannot call them again again had a talk with one of his superviser zubin and vodafone gallery{goregaon-w} executive-huzefa who has given meh wrong promises..n i have been harresed i am in big loss, want them to solve my problem n refund meh with suitable and fair interest.Other wise will surley drag them to consumer court.

                              I am using Vodafone no [protected] (Karnataka) for the past 2 yrs . And i want to change my mobile operator Through mobile number portability from Vodafone to airtel.
                              And i have submitted all the id proofs.

                              However i received a message from Vodafone that my porting requests has been rejected. Because of Contractual obligition.
                              I had gone to the Vodofone Store and paid the Monthly bill In Advance and also stated the problem, however they are still sending the Message to new Airtel(My New Service provider) they are simply delaying. Actually MNP is a customer right. but here airtel is denying that right for me.

                              I am planning to file a complaint in consumer court for compensation.

                              I contacted my Vodafone customer care about this issue no one has responding . Please. Help me sir

                              M/S Vodafone Essar has outsourced their MNP service to M/s Andromeda, i have submitted my docs and cash (Rs.370) to them on 16.02.11. After submission i was ensured that within 7 days my MTNL no. [protected] will be transferred to Vodafone but in vain

                              i have called Vodafone several times but they are not interested to reply and informed me that they cant help in the matter.

                              Also the customer care no. of Andromeda is not responding further there Pick up boys no. is switched off.

                              i have also mailed them my complaint regarding the issue but no reply yet

                              Seek your help, i have everything in proof. Please guide me further action for filing a case.

                              Myself Sachin Jadhav Using Vodafone DATA CARD No : [protected].
                              I have purchased a USB STICK from S K Marketing wherein I was informed that I can use the stick with unlimited 3G data plans with 599 rental, but since I have taken I have faced many problems.
                              Theere is no 3G plan with unlimited free usage, Please check the same & revert to me with correct details.
                              Also if the same is not available I would like to cancel the Connection & would want my refund of rs1800 which I have paid.

                              An unwanted health pack service activated on my cell no. today and rs.35 has been deducated from my a/c.plz deact this service and give my refund amount.
                              On 3rd june my balance is Rs.204 ...

                              "Hello! Vodafone Cricket VF Alerts is now active on your number, as requested. This service is valid till[protected] and a 30 days rental of Rs 30 has been deducted. Your current Balance post service activation is Rs 174.62. To cancel send CAN VACKT to 144."

                              than i check my balance is Rs.174 only ...

                              Than i call vodafone customer care and tell this thing they said they deact this service and refund my 30rs in 4 hour ...

                              I wait and i got this message -
                              "Your subscription to Vodafone Cricket VF Alerts has been deactivated."

                              but my Rs.30 is not refunded yet ...
                              Now when i am trying to call vodafone customer care my call disconnects automatically ...

                              now tell me what should i do ...

                              this is 1st time happen with vodafone...

                                I have purchased USB broadband stick from Vodafone Store New Panvel on 02.12.2010. Receipt of the same is by the name Connect (India)Mobile Technologies private ltd. Sales representative told me that its speed was between 156 to 256 kbps depending on the location. After using it at different locations I found that its speed was varying from 0 to 60kbps which was not sufficient to surf the web as it takes almost 15 minutes to open a single page. I went to the store and deposited the USB stick with the store to get it repaired. After repairing it at the service center they told me that it was okay but when I checked at their Vodafone store in presence of the sales representative speed was varying from 0 to 60kbps. This was of no use to me & I asked them to reimburse the purchase cost. Till date I have not got the reimbursement and also the USB broadband stick repaired.
                                I lodged the complaint with their customer care center. I have record of various correspondence with them done through email.

                                I have suffered financial loss & mental agony in dealing with them from last three months with no positive response.

                                I hope i get your help in getting the justice.

                                same issue shailesh its speed is very slow i have boght 3G USB mobile broadband using it for last 5days . the speed which vodafone promises off course maximum speed @7.2.MBPS in last 5days i have not recd even 1 Mbps speed. it waves between 90 to 104 KBps. i should have read your post before done some surfing before making a purchase decision.

                                3g USB Stick Wrong information

                                I was sold Vodafone 3G USB dongle on Feb - 2011 for Rs 1500/- at vodafone vashi store. I was told that the unlimited usage
                                plan of Rs 599 will work on 2G as well as 3G network.

                                When I questioned that how I would get 3g speed at this much cost, I was again told that as you are existing customer.
                                when 3g broadband would be launched I would get the same speed on existing plan and I would not require to change plan.

                                Every time I use to call up I was told the same thing and now when I approached Vodafone customer care I found out that this plan is
                                applicable only on 2G network and the charges will be different for 3G network. I was shocked to know that I was fooled to believe
                                that I could use this plan for both 2G and 3G network.

                                I requested them to take back USB dongle and refund me the money. I was advised by Vodafone care executive to go to Vodafone Care Centre for refund.
                                When I approached Vodafone care centre they refused to take back. I again called Vodafone care and they said it can’t be returned. This is a case of
                                Misstatements of facts and incomplete information given to me and inducing me to buy the USB 3G dongle.

                                Again on 17’Th of April I went to Vodafone store Vashi and spoke with the manager over there. She said that as you are existing customer you would be
                                able to use 3g speed at plan of Rs 599. (Even she was under same impression. The same thing was told to me by Vodafone Chembur store)
                                Then just to confirm she called up somewhere and then said, sorry you will have to go for the new 3g plan.

                                I asked her why I was given wrong information; she said that even we were not aware of these things at that time (Feb 2011 to 17 April 2011)

                                The plans are given and you have not mentioned that these plans are for 2g network.

                                The same is printed on your 3g usb stick broachers.

                                connections in my family. I never expected all these marketing strategies from Vodafone.

                                Vodafone — speed of vodafone usb net connect is very slow

                                speed of of vodafone usb net connect is very slow its not at working properly it takes too much time to process
                                Even I have been taken for a ride. Eventhough the mobile connection speed as in their panel is over 7 Mb, the true download speed on the right side of the panel shows not more than 90 Kb at any time. I have to set my gmail to HTML view to read my mails. The regular gmail view does not load. Nowhere near Tata Photo speeds. As I write this, I am downloading a windows update of 24 Mb. Even after 30 mins it has downloaded only 25%. Pathetically slow. I am told that this is because of theEDGE connectivity and I have to opt for 3G. I have burnt my fingers. I have ditched the Vodafone USB stick and written off the 1300 bucks and am moving to Tata Photon, IDEA or Aircell where I believe they are true to their stated speeds. Dump the Vodafone USB stick is what I say.

                                  Around 13th March, I recieved call from Vodafone Care that they are offering an Unlimited dedicated Data Plan of Rs 500 per month and told me that there is no FUP specifically.

                                  So i bought the sim for Rs 250.it is dedicated sim for data no call or msg san be sent or recieved.
                                  it was activated on 17th March.

                                  Sir, it worked fine for 3 days in which i surfed and downloaded data.
                                  (Note :- No chargeable data was downloaded)
                                  On 21th March it stop working it gave error "Network Service could no be started".

                                  So i called vodafone care told them the problem. They told mein that the unbilled usage have exceeded the credit limit and it will be cleared in the end of cycle till then i can not do surfing or download data.
                                  SIR AS TOLD EARLIER I TOOK THIS PLAN ONLY BECAUSE I WAS TOLD IT WAS AN UNLIMITED DATA PLAN WITHOUT ANY FUP. BUT DUE TO VODAFONE FALSE INFORMATION AND BILLING SYSTEM MY PLAN IS LIKE A LIMITED DATAPLAN.
                                  THERE SHOULD BE NO DATA LIMIT FOR A UNLIMITED DATA PLAN WITH NO FUP AS TOLD BY THE COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE.

                                  Since then i have called and told my problem to vodafone care. As the call to vodafone care are charged much of my money and time have been wasted on it.
                                  I want to take serious action against the company for this type of misleading information and inconvenience to the customer. iwant to send this information to TRAI company should be heavily fined for this kind of behaviour.

                                    I have been trying to get my 5 phone lines transferred from one of my company's name to another, for the last 2 months.

                                    In the process the Vodafone Store manager stopped returning my calls and broke any sort of phone correspondence. I had to send my office boy to the branch every time I had to reach him.

                                    Then I called the customer service, to complaint against this and facilitate the pending job. Since then it has taken another month and I have spoken to executives, team leaders, floor managers and even the manager. Every time they say they call back. they never do.

                                    Finally they admitted they don't know what the problem is and that they are unable to process my request and maybe I should try speaking to the Nodal Officer.

                                    I have been trying the Nodal Officer's number for a week and a half but it is always busy. I have sent him a message but I have received no call back.

                                    I feel like this is what is called 'Manmani'! There seems to be nothing I can do to get service from them.

                                      Very recently I had opted for portability from Idea to Vodafone IN and without my asking the Alerts have been activated on my phone no. [protected]. On their website, there is no option to deactivate the services. It is very difficult to reach the customer care executive on 111. I do not want any optional services from Vodafone without my prior consent. I request that the above service may be deactivated.
