I am Vofaone user for more than 2 years and my number is [protected] and it is a corporate plan. For the last 4 months (from Sept 14, 2010) I am experiencing network related issue as I am not able to receive any calls on my number. There is an issue with the incoming calls and I am not getting any incoming calls and this is in whole Delhi-NCR. I have made complaints many time on the customer care of Vodafone but still the same issue. They asked me for a time froma of 3 months to get it resolved but now its been more than 4 months and there is no one who is taking care of this matter.
Whenever I call customer care they say please give us a chance and we will check for this but bothing happens.

Now, when Mobile Number Portability (MNP) is launched in Delhi, I applied for that and now they are not allowing me change the Subscriber as they have changed the Unique Port Number twice and as per the guidelines from TRAI, Subscribers cannot change the Unique Port Number for 15 Days once it is issued to any mobile number.

Please help as Vodafone has Harassed me a lot.

    Regarding this I spoke to the call center they are not responding properly, even they disconnect the call also. They told me that "on next time it will not happened we deactivate the services. Some times I can not speak to the your call center CCE as they block my number in Ivr.

    Really I am surprise its continuously happening with me. I don't know if you taken rs.30 from one person. then........

    If Vodafone need money then ask me I will give you Rs.100 in every month as Vodafone begger fund.

    So kindly look the matter and do the needful as soon as possible

      I am Sunil Sharma last 5 yr's Vodafone prepaid costomer my mob. no. [protected] sim card reject by vodafone costmer care. when i asking costomer care they told me that now as per goverment Rouls Re-submit all document" then start ur sim card after i went to Vasai (west.) Vodofone ministore and Re-Submit my pan card address proff and driving license Zerox Coppy with my photo copy and Rs. 25/- new duplicate sim card. They told me that it would be activated in 24 hours. It was not and since when I called them on Monday, there was no response. Then when I called the customer care, they told me it would be done in 24 working hours. So I kept quite. Then till Thursday, it wasn't. So I went to the store in person and gave a complaint. What a service from those girls? I don't know who the hell recruited them and for what they are sitting there and what kind of service they provide. They were just chatting and told me that as the details are not correct, they didn't activate and now its activated. I questioned them that now, I didn't give them any details and how come they would activate it in 24 hours? I was waiting for the whole day and still it is not done. I am totally fed up with those inefficient vodafone sotre. Kindly help me please and want to take actions against vodafone store and get me my sim card activated.

        I bought Vodafone data card 24.12.2010 but this data card is not connecting services and not opening any web site. I have called up several times to the 5566 helpline but all of them were unable to resolve the issue. On the instruction booklet it is written that it is compatible for windows XP operating system, I am having same operating system on my computer. I have several times requested to send the technician at my home for resolving the issue but no one from the company is interested to come and check the problem. Worst case is that without using the services I have received the bill and I am sure there would be the next bill coming on right time.

When i purchased it was a e-top no after one year the etop facility is disconnected by your side. now from last 3 years I am facing problem in that no. In this no. When i called to customer care no. 111 the IVRs system not transfer my call to customer care executive and any tariff is not working on that no. yesterday i registered a request for MNP service and it is rejected by your side i got a sms that this no. is in contractual obligation.

          So here I am requesting you to as I am a Old customer of your company please give me tariff facility or change my network.....its a humble request please do it for needful.

            I would like anyone who ever thinks of shifting to vodafone to know the realty of Vodafone,they might advertise giving 10 reasons to shift to their but don't fall prey to their ads as they are only good at Ads.

            I've been using Vodafone in Bangalore for the last 3 years,the first 2 years went fine no hassles at all.Once Hutch was taken over by Vodafone service started eroding,its an irony that after a global giant took over the service worsened.

            Problems I faced and continue to face inspite of several several calls to the so called "Happy to Help" customer support team:

            1) Cross connection always happen during conversations,you can hear cow's moo,people laughing,people talking in strange lasnguages.I'm fed up,till date I have complained about 12 times regarding this all they say is they give you a date and say within this date your problem will be resolved and they just close the complaint nothing happens.I complained the last time hoping atleast now since Number portability is launched they might take complaints seriously,to my surprise they are asking me which handset I'm using as if its not their fault,many of my friends using vodafone have the same problem,its not location specific or handset related

            2) GPRS data packages rip you off.Even if you don't exceed the data usage limit they charge you anywhere between 100-150 and if you argue with the customer care saying that your mobile counter shows you have not exceeded the data limit all they say is as per our computer you have exceeded blah blah MB.
            And you know what Vodafone doesnt have any means to check your data usage details.

            3) Even if you subscribe to the DND (Do Not Disturb) service,you still recieve promotional calls from the so called Vodafone Promotions department,Vodafone is an expert in ANNOYING YOU be it their CUSTOMER SERVICE which does not exist though its more of a self service.

            4) Once I told the customer care guy you'll loose customers once number portability is launched if you continue to provide such type of service, to my surprise he responded "It does'nt matter to us", can you believe it this is how an international network trains their employees regarding Customer relations.I weep for the future of Vodafone.They don't value customers and generate revenues by deducting balances to post profits every quarter.Moreover they hate to resolve your complaints when you call to the customer service, they just want to hang up as quick as posssible and they advertise as "Happy to Help" when the fact is "HAPPY TO RIP YOU OFF".Never expect them to even listen to your complaints.

            All right so called Vodafone I'm "HAPPY TO END"...................
            I'll switch to some other network who value customers,thanks 4 ur interrupted and annoying services.

              i have suffered heavy losses due to this.
              Due to frustration I threw my handset and had to incur a loss of 25000

              i kept calling the customer care from last one week to tell them about the network, some vodafone care guys say that they are working on this issue.Others say there is a problem with the setings in cell.These guys are mis-leading the customers.

              My strong request is that if they are not in a position to serve their clients/customers better inform what ever the problem they are facing, so that a customer can go for substitutes or other service providers. By relying on these people i lost my transport vehicle twice than i have opted public transport, think of my position then.

              The complaint is that their feedback to customer is not clear.

              I am a Loayal Vodafone Customer as every vodafone customer has proud to use the Network of Vodafone- since it gives you an ammense pleasure to have network of Vodafone where are you roaming but it was the Myth till the date in the end of March i was on my tour to Raipur Chatisgadh District whre there is no availabiltiy of Vodafone Network and on my activation of the national roming facitlity- other three networks avaialble viz Airtel, Cell one an IND 67( Operator Name Unknown) are not giving the access to Vodafone User- This was very surprising and on talking to more than 15 executives at the Vodarfone Care- Each time i am being told to wait- But the passions has a limit- kindly suggest me the further steps- i am in process of Bringing matter to the Nodal officer and hope that once again vodafone will found a dignity in my eyes

On 22nd April 2010 I complained regarding the poor network coverage but they didn't solve the problem yet......, My purpose of writing is only to tell other people to stay away from the vodafone....                 I am vinay jain, i am very unsatisfied from vodafone, i have taken a postpaid connection on sunday[protected], but my connection is still not in service. and from that day i have received about 10 to 15 calls from vodafone but nothing. Whenever i call to vadafone executive, they said to me "let me check it sir can u pls put on hold".
                but they Will not come back.

                      I am fed up with the promotional calls from Vodafone. I have already send SMS on 1909 with text START DND approximately six months back, but still I am receiving these calls. They start calling specially when I am on Roaming. I am getting daily three calls on routine basis the same call again and again. If I have not opted for the Promotional scheme for the first time then why they are calling for the same scheme again and again. I want this to be stopped.

                      you are right i am 200% agree with you guess .they people are stupid i have also sent the msg to vodafone
                      but they did not stopped yet .sometime i was in urgent meeting they start to call me or sending the msgs...it is poor service from the vodafone side;;;;

                        i am a subscriber to vodaphone pre-paid mobile. on[protected] at 11:10 a.m. i received a message
                        from vodaphone number 55435 " you have been charged Rs.50/- for this game." and my balance was reduced by Rs.50/-. we have not downloaded any game. we tried to call customer care 111 and then customer complaints cell of vodaphone 198. in these services the concerned persons informed that because you have downloaded the game Rs. 50/- was deducted. we protested saying that we have not downloaded. and we asked for reversel of the amount. they replied that it is not possible.

                        kindly see that the amount is reversed immidiately.

                          Dear Sir/Madam

                          I had submitted a letter to Vodafone at their lowerparel outlet metting Mr. Mukesh, submitting a letter to him asking to discontinue my two numbers [protected] and [protected]. The letter submission date is 7th January, 2011. Out of these two numbers one is discontinued and the other number [protected] is still active. When calling Vodafone at 198, I get a reply saying within 24 hours your number will be discontinued and for this I got a call on last monday i.e. 10th Jan. 2011. But till date there is no action. When today I called at 198 one Mr. Rajendra picked the call asked him why the number is still active, I get an reply saying that your billing cycle is 17th of the month and it will be done on 17th only. May I know why this extra money recovery from a customer who has submitted a letter on 7th Jan. 2011. This is a complete cheating towards a customer who is honest and pays his bill every month via ecs. I dont know why vodafone dont feel like discontinuing the number and keeping the billing cycle on, this shows that they want to grab money unnecessary harassing the customer.

                          I would request you'll to take an immediate action against Vodafone company I feel this is a complete cheat towards the customer and this they might be doing with others also.

                            Vodafone — Getting late night calls

                            I am getting calls from this number and wants to know the identity of the person on this number [protected].
                            Hi, I'm getting continuous late night calls from unknown no.(+91-[protected]). I'm really fed up. I request the Govt. or Telecom providers has to do something on this problem. When i checked with customer care , they gave a option (Black list Activation) which is costing me Rs.99/- pm. For just one number the charges are too high. I request the Govt. to help the customers on their privacy. or atleast reduce the charges based on the numbers that are activated(Blacklist).

                              i Have taken vodafone postpaid connection, The store people gave me option to chose number and i was opted my number as 9966XX1783 with Plan 199, gives 10Ps to any Vodafone Numbers and 40Ps other Mobile Numbers and 100mins Free, and person who had given the simcard taken an Rupees on 300rupess additionally said to activate we need this.and vodafone people came to enquiry to my office and home.and after that my mobile number was activated they have activated the other number to me i.e [protected] with Plan Some XXX for any numbers 49Ps. i have intimated the same to Vodafone Store in DSNR,Hyderabad,Andhrapradesh Many times But they have simple wasted my time saying that it have changed. afterward also many times i intimated them that it was not changed. Once in a Hurry that to reach vodafone store i also lost my mobile also. and i have taken for same simcard again not to miss guide the facts. the invoice of bill came to my home saying that ur PLAN is SOME XXX with any numbers 49Ps the bill was Rupees 900+change but supposed to get 500+. i intimated the same many time people in the vodafone store team lead one lady and also for Kalyan, Shekar store members to cancel my sim they only said that i have to pay the total amount which for their mistake they prolonged this issue for two months and said that other taxes and late fee i need to pay around 1300+ amount, i said that y i need to pay this amount it was problem with you people solve my problem legally i will pay than, and even there is no system to intimate any one such problems in the service provider company they simple through to one another and say that you need to go branch office or you need to go head office etc..., i called many time to customer care people also they even saying that they will not have any right , i only simply said if they are no right with you what ur doing as customer care i[censored]r not caring ur customer. i begged to raise at least any complaint on this people they said every time we are doing same and almost 20people called for 2months and intimated same no one taken the responsibility, as i am employee i need to concentrate even my works also right , i was totally disturbed because of this issue.and they talk to me in rash way saying that what every you want to do you do, after payment only we can cancel your sim card number in deactivate mode.please solve my issue.....

                              As i am customer of hutch/vodahone form past 2 and 1/2 years and iam not satisfied with the service providing by the coy...
                              Last month i got to pay the bill, where the International messege is charged..

                              I want know how it is charged , when i have not done and even without any proof YOU /vodaphone
                              has claimed for it ...

                              I, Rajesh Mohan Thakur, is an academic proffesional and my working place is Greater Noida.Since taking your post paid plan i am facing problem hi problem and i request you to ensure that you please take care and solve these problem immediately otherwise it creates bad impression and the problem we people are facing is really unlimited
                              I explain you some of them

                              I was regular user of your pre paid paln ( mostly 330 or more )and the executive of vodaphone regularly convince me to take post paid plan.They tell me your name is drawn in lottery system and you will get wrist watch while convert the plan in post paid (but till today I havn’t ) .thenafter I took plan of 250 and convert prepaid into postpaid.I was said to use the new facility after 24-36 hours but till 8 days I was without any prepaid-postpaid.
                              Then after I sent a people to close the facility as I had to go to my hometown for my marriage.but after talking to one of the executive by phone I decide to continue the postpaid facility after returning from home.
                              Okay I was in Delhi after 25 days and get my connection postpaid again after 7 days of clarification even I visit Vodaphone Care ( Near Atta market, sector 26, Noida ) twice in between, for that.
                              Now come to another point
                              People from vodaphone visited to my address thrice in between for verification ( why…?).
                              Okay from first day Executive told me that I will get 1.20 @STD call and below one for local and first month bill amount will be adjust with 250 which I already given. After getting postpaid connection I was told that I have to pay additional 49 Rs.for lower the STD rate from 2.40 to 1.20.
                              Marta kya na karta, chalo ye bhi sahi….
                              When I want to take this facility then I was asked that I will get the lower charge facllity after first bill payment that means till the I have to pay the STD rate higher then all other plans.

                              Now come today,
                              I was being informed that my credit limit cross 800 so I have to deposit at least 500 today otherwise there may be some problem.( Tell me when my last day of amount deposit is 11th April then why should I pay it today ) Also nwhen I tell the executive that what’s about the reimburse with 250 the she asked me to talk the matter with Vidaphone care.

                              Complaint against VODAFONE POSTPAID CONNECTION ([protected])

                              The above mentioned number is an old connection of mine. Earlier i was using the same number as prepaid, recently i was mislead by the service provider through constant untimely call, sms, visits that if i change this number to postpaid i would be getting lot of additional benefits like low call rate, no tariff etc.but all their promises are fake and misleading and against the consumer interest.

                              Now when i wanted to switch back to the prepaid connection with the same number, first of all i was asked to wait for 3 months but even after 3 months they are not ready to listen to my request, moreover they are asking additional amount from my side to switch over.
                              They are not ready to return back the refundable security deposit, instead they want me to pay the billed as well as the unbilled amount without any deduction as per my service plan.NO HARD COPY OF BILL IS PROVIDED TO ME SO FAR.

                              sir.when i was using the prepaid services of the same provider my usage amount never exceeded 400 rs but since i switched to postpaid it has turned more then double.

                              Inspite of my constant visits to VODAFONE STORE i was never provided the details of my bill and was misled with false information.


                              Now i feel cheated by the service provider.Accordingly i request you to look into the matter and instruct the provider to provide me the same number on prepaid and refund me the security etc and also adjust all the discrepancies in the billing amount.
                              In the past the Authority had issued several directions to telecom service providers to enhance and ensure transparency in the matter of service provision.
                              The objective of the Authority in issuing these directions has been to provide the consumers with the opportunity to make an informed choice and also to protect them from subscribing to or billed for any service due to lack of proper information or understanding. BUT I REALLY DON'T THINK VODAFONE IS DOING SO.
                              Sir, the tariff brochures given to me did contain complete details of the tariff plans.
                              The pulse rate/tariff for premium rate service were never being told in all communications.
                              Service providers shall inform customers in writing, within a week of activation of service, the complete details of his tariff plan. The changes in any item/aspect of tariff in the chosen package shall also be intimated to the customers in writing but vodafone never did this with me.
                              So i hereby request for a early and immediate action so that i m not deprived of mobile phone usage because all outgoing services are being stopped by the service provider.

                              I purchased a vodafone connection on Thursday 25 jun 09 but today is 30 and my connection has not been activated.Poor and very bad service of vodafone...I only suggest my friends not to go for vodafone espacially postpaid connection...Its not customer oriented company as also they have poor customer care and help desk service...

                              Vodafone — Change of montly rental plan

                              I have taken vodafone mobile connection. now after one month i am asking to change my Current plan
                              but according to them it is not possible before three month.
                              I never heard the same. if this is not true then please let me know what i can do against them.

                              DISCONTINUATION OF SERVICE and NON-EXISTENT TECHNICAL SUPPORT

                              BACKGROUND - I have been a customer of Vodafone's prepaid service for almost a year. Less than a week ago, I decided to switch to a postpaid plan (offered to my company by Vodafone) while retaining the same number. A Vodafone executive got in touch with me promptly and collected the paperwork, assuring me of a transition within 2 days.

                              COMPLAINT - My prepaid connection was DEACTIVATED the next day, and remained deactivated for 2 days, before I received the new sim card. This outage was WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE and caused damaging disruption to my work. Moreover, additional services such as GPRS are still NOT FUNCTIONAL on my connection (they used to work fine when I was on prepaid). All attempts to reach customer support on their "Happy to Help" numbers (111 and 198) have been met with "Sorry, we are unable to process your request now." I hope (but don't expect) that the billing cycle starts only once I have fully functional service.

                              Vodafone — wrong monthly rental plan activated on my no.

                              Dear All

                              I am using a Vodafone no [protected] for which i gave a request on 27th Apr to change the plan for one year advance rental of Rs 499. Even when i called up to confirm the activation of service between 3-6th May the executive told me that service is not yet activated and took the request against and gave me a service request no which i tont remeber.

                              I have got a ECS activated for this no. and any outstanding amount due is debited from the credit card.
                              Now when i checked the bill for May, i was shocked to see the monthly rental for Rs 499 getting charged to my account since April.
                              Even after calling up the customer care, no solution is provided and they dont even have the conversation documented on the account. Also no service request no. is available in there records.

                              Please advise how can i take up the matter to consumer court.

                              well i took a new postpaid connection from Vodafone outlet in ambala cantt and was told that it will be activated in two working days but it got activated only after 5 days and numerous visits and requests to the Vodafone store . then at the time of taking the connection i opted for a 499 monthly rental plan and a 3GB plan o[censored]nlimited internet on 3G but when after 5 days i was told that my bill has crossed the credit limit i was shocked as my billing in 5 days only had been approx 3300 when i contacted the customer care they told that i have a corporate plan activated of 175 monthly and no internet pack has been activated and i have been charged on usage basis after which when i went to Vodafone store they told me that since i am a army personnel i can only get rs 175 monthly rental and nothing else at all while the customer care ppl told me that its my choice which plan i chose which sounds logical when i confronted the Vodafone store in-charge that why the wrong plan has been activated without my knowledge she just told she cant do anything either i pay the amount to resume my services or else wait for three months in which she will try to get the issue resolved i have dumped the sim and switched to idea now and will advice the other customers seeking new connection that pls don't go for Vodafone as it has employed total incapable and in competent team and there is nothing like their motto which says happy to help as even when i had written a email to Vodafone care no reply has been received from their end also .

                                My dear friends don't ever buy vodafone prepaid most of you will ignore this but i know one or other person is facing the same problem what i am facing few month back my dad came and asked me which is the best network along with the good service provider i just thought for a sec and quickly reverted its vodafone it was my biggest mistake they are the worst service provider in life you can't even imagine my dad came to me and asked that there is balance cutoff of 45 Rs which they have charged me for incoming i quickly called the customer care to check how they have deducted money when he was in homenetwork but voadone as always replied dear sir the call log is not yest updated pls call us after 2 hours i didn't say a word and again i call'd them after 15 hours instead of 2 hours to my expectation fron vodafone they again replied its not yet updated finally after frustation i called the 198 number which is for complaints however i manage to get in touch with them...........now the shocking part is what they said me is your dad has called an ISD when we don't have any relative outside india....when i ask them i need the hardcopy of the same they tried to ignore me but however after many areguments they said me they'll deliver the same in next 2 days now i make the open challenge to them that they'll not give me the hardcopy to me coz when we have not called only how he will show the entry...........vodafone is a loss amking entity and trying to recover money my doing all these frauds..................and they make targets to older people because they know they won't call them..............i have just alerted you my dear friends might be your dad and mom not be making such calls and unnecessarily they have been targeted.


                                Don't think it has not happened to you but tomorrow it might be your turn.............vodafone is a big fraud

                                  For the past one year i am having network problem at my residence in Pitampura, New Delhi on my mobile no.[protected] from the vodafone mobile service providers and the company seems to be working in such an unprofessional matter that after lodging several complaints, no body is bothered that there consumers are suffering due to there negligent attitude. Everytime they are extending there deadline to rectify the complaint, which till date[protected] is not resolved and on further investigation done by me on the status of my complaint, still the company official are clueless when they will be able to rectify my complaint of Network Failure / Voice break / call drop while talking on my mobile at my residence in Pitampura, New Delhi......Please advice what should i do

                                    Being in partnership business, we have 3 Vodafone connections under group talk plan;
                                    [protected], [protected], [protected] since last more then 10 years and always paying bills amount within the due date by a single cheque through our Company account. Never been a defaulter in payments. Also having a dynamic credit limit of around Rs.25500.00 in total across all the above three numbers account. Yet, due to a small error of my Partner not having jointly signed the last cheque of Rs.1958.49, (which was also paid well within the due date)the same was dishonoured. On learning about the same, we requested to have it sent back immediately to have afresh cheque made through our company account, we were assured it will be couriered & also so assured of not restricting our outgoings till the payment is cleared. However, outgoing calls on all the above three lines were restricted abruptly on the early morning of 13th Jan.11 onwards. Only after calling 10 times to various vodafone customer care & explaining rather pleading & being at their mercy, requesting & apologizing for the human error of my Partner, did they re-activated the outgoings. Yet, again we are sent SMS (threat) of paying the over due amount else outgoings will be restricted though we have still not received our dishonoured cheques back, which they claim to have despatched on 10th January 2011. Under the circumstances, we are unable to issue new cheque and on approaching Vodafone Customer care several times to inform the same, the so called customer Care executives after giving a peaceful hearing, put you on an indefinite hold, later turn up helplessly & ask us to pay cash else face the music. It is so absurd to claim an outstanding amount in such an extortion method & that too a meager amount of Rs.1958.49. What is the dynamic credit reflected in our Bill stand for?(or is it just a eye wash, to please a client?), if the same cannot help us in such times of inevitable human error without intention, which lead to all this kind of trouble, harassment, embarrassment and loss of business & valued time. Instead of realizing & caring for the customer in its true sense by understanding the customers situation, they try to act more pricey by not resolving your difficulty and putting you on hold for indefinite period by trying your patience. What & how can Vodafone be taught a lesson in Customer Care in all its true sense? Pls. advice. Thank you. G. Gandhi
