    Being in partnership business, we have 3 Vodafone connections under group talk plan;
[protected], [protected], [protected] since last more then 10 years and always paying bills amount within the due date by a single cheque through our Company account. Never been a defaulter in payments. Also having a dynamic credit limit of around Rs.25500.00 in total across all the above three numbers account. Yet, due to a small error of my Partner not having jointly signed the last cheque of Rs.1958.49, (which was also paid well within the due date)the same was dishonoured. On learning about the same, we requested to have it sent back immediately to have afresh cheque made through our company account, we were assured it will be couriered & also so assured of not restricting our outgoings till the payment is cleared. However, outgoing calls on all the above three lines were restricted abruptly on the early morning of 13th Jan.11 onwards. Only after calling 10 times to various vodafone customer care & explaining rather pleading & being at their mercy, requesting & apologizing for the human error of my Partner, did they re-activated the outgoings. Yet, again we are sent SMS (threat) of paying the over due amount else outgoings will be restricted though we have still not received our dishonoured cheques back, which they claim to have despatched on 10th January 2011. Under the circumstances, we are unable to issue new cheque and on approaching Vodafone Customer care several times to inform the same, the so called customer Care executives after giving a peaceful hearing, put you on an indefinite hold, later turn up helplessly & ask us to pay cash else face the music. It is so absurd to claim an outstanding amount in such an extortion method & that too a meager amount of Rs.1958.49. What is the dynamic credit reflected in our Bill stand for?(or is it just a eye wash, to please a client?), if the same cannot help us in such times of inevitable human error without intention, which lead to all this kind of trouble, harassment, embarrassment and loss of business & valued time. Instead of realizing & caring for the customer in its true sense by understanding the customers situation, they try to act more pricey by not resolving your difficulty and putting you on hold for indefinite period by trying your patience. What & how can Vodafone be taught a lesson in Customer Care in all its true sense? Pls. advice. Thank you. G. Gandhi

          Hi Rashna,

I am really upset with Vodafone for the fraudulent ways it charges me for its services. I am using an IPhone 4 and with the feedback that I have gotten from your customer care centres and call center executives, there is no current support for Iphone 4 and hence i cannt use data on Iphone 4. Yet, amazingly my bills say that I have used 191420 KB of data under the Vodafone Live 249 plan which allows for 1GB of data.

I am also being charged for INR 938 after discounts for the Vodafone live services even though i have used less than 200 MB of data of the I GB permitted. Perhaps you should also educate your call center executives who wanted to convince me that 191420 actually converts into 1.91 GB of data and hence the charges. Considering that I am not able to use data on my phone because there is no support for Iphone 4 i wonder how 191 MB of data is used in the first place.

Attached are the charges for your reference. And also I use a data tracker which lets me know how much usage i m incurring on my phone on data or wifi, also attached. What i want to know is how is Vodafone telling me that i have done 191 MB when my phone is telling me i have done only 718 kb on cellular data.

I activated the INTERNET package of Rs.4 with 24hr validity and 40MB usage limit and after one hour i started using, but they didn't activate my INTERNET package when i requested, they activated after 7hrs(came to know after calling to customer care), so i got charged for the usage for it. And i didn't get any conformation message also.
And i am not able to call to customer care also, when i called to customer care from other vodafone number and i en-quired about this issue, the contacted person told that he cant take complaint regarding this and he told that he transfer my call to higher authority person, but no one attended the call after transferring. Service is worst in vodafone, they don't care for customer. So please help me in this.

The problem in a nutshell is that even after paying the "final" bill including all outstanding bills and deactivating the connection, I am still being billed. I used to live in mumbai and have moved out of mumbai in Sep 2010. The cancellation request was raised in September and the final bill was paid in October. I have been sending mails everytime I get a bill in my mailbox and so far I haven't received a single reply from anyone.

Now the situation has reached the point where my landlord of where I used to stay in mumbai is getting extremely rude calls from the collections department. From what my landlord has told me a person by name Rupali is calling them everyday and is using inappropriate language towards them, including threatening to bring in thugs to beat them up. To make matters worst this Rupali is refusing to accept my current contact number from my landlord so that I can be reached.
I am deeply hurt by this chain of events and being a long time customer of vodafone(right from the day vodafone started its operations in india), I must say that I am extremely disappointed at vodafone and its services.
The wierd thing is that I had destroyed the SIM card in october when it was deactivated. But even today, when I call their customer service IVR, I see an unbilled usage of around Rs. 26. How in the world is it possible?

On calling the customer care yesterday, again, I was asked to re-send all the mails I had sent before. I forwarded them and I called them again today. The representative who attended the call told me that it takes 72hrs for their system to refresh so that my mails can be seen by them. Now, what kind of an email service is that?
              I am still getting billed.

                Hello,

I have issue related to unauthorized charges charged by Vodafone. I have a postpaid connection (#[protected] which was a CUG connection. I decided to get it converted to prepaid as I was not using CUG and my overall usage is low. I got a call from Vodafone regarding this and they insisted me to go for other plan i.e. Talk Plan 179, they also stated that my CUG usage is low and I should migrate to this plan.

But when I received my DEC 2010 bill, they have charged Rs. 65 for CUG. I called customer care but they told that it was because of CUG activated on my number. I want to say that they haven't clarified the scheme and also if I need to deactivate to this service, because they only insisted me to go for 179 plan so I think its their responsibility to deactivate this CUG. I think this is a fraudiciary activity that Vodafone has done.

Please let me know how to get my amount reversed or what can be next possible steps to get my amount back.

I am getting too many fraud calls from banks and girls. these girls are fraud girls. so i gave calls to vodafone customer care, but they talked like they are not responsible. and said will take 45 days to be activated for dnd. vodafone people say they are not giving numbers to anyone so they cant block. this is i think shame less. i think those girls are from vodafone only thats why they give give miss calls and messages in night talk in sexual manner and can talker longer on phone and will charge it.
thse mobile service providers are very cheipe minded people. they can do anything fro earning

                          Dear Sir,

This is Venkateswara Rao Alladi from Hyderabad. Mobile number is: [protected]. Few days back I have selected Caller Tune service from Vodafone. They are deducting Rs.2 per day for that service. Now I want to deactivate it. I have submitted my request through '111' toll free number. It tells after two hours it will be deactivated. But actually it is not deactivated. I have talked to the support personnel through '198' toll free number. One of them has listened my request and told me it will be deactivated with in 4 hours. After 4 hours they have deducted Rs.30/- from account. And they are sending SMSes with the 'Caller Tune Activation' details. Unnecessarily they are deducting the amount with my number. I have not selected the Caller Tune service, but they are sending the Activation SMSes and deducting my amount.

Please help me from this harassment. I have seen so many complaints regarding this Caller Tune service of Vodafone. Please do it ASAP and help us from these type of malpractices.

                          Thank You...

                            Hello,

I have a corporate Vodafone post paid mobile connection [protected]. Per this corporate plan the CUG to CUG calls are free but I am getting charged for my calls on CUG. This is really frustrating that what ever was disucussed which buying the connection is actually not geting paid.
I have also written a mail to the corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.com and waiting for the reply. I request to have this fixed asap otherwise I have to go to Law.

                            Thanks.

Guys beware of Vodafone billing and check your itemized billing charges regularly. They are charging for Vodafone live services even after it is explicitly deactivated on Blackberry phones.
You can do two things now either pay the bill and forget or just dont pay anything. If you choose the second thing you have to be very firm as a series o[censored]nexpected events ill happen. But they all will take place to harass you and make you pay but nothing legally could be done to you. In case you recieve any letter just ignore it. There is no rule by indian govt on unsecured loans. But remember one thing in future your credit score will be effected ie through CIBIL. This answer is for everyone with same issue. Know your rights

                                  Hello,

I have purchased a Vodafone 3G USB from Mr.Anil Waghmode (Vodafone Sales Representative) on 9th December at 1st floor Powai B wing Canteen. At the time of purchase, I mentioned about my Laptop OS (windows 2003), which is different from that mentioned in the Vodafone catalogue.

The representative (Mr.Anil Waghmode) ensured me that it is going to work & also promised to refund the money incase of any problem.

On 10th December I approached Anil and informed him that the USB was not working on the Windows 2003 OS. Anil asked me to get the laptop to verify it. I have done that twice. Anil is also aware that its not working.

I also approached sakinaka Vodafone store to get it sorted but in vain.

I cancelled my existing airtel connection & subscribed to vodafone as it is 3G.I need to take training online immediately as the project is going to kickoff coming monday.I already missed three trainings as It has been nearly a month without internet and no solution from vodafone is provided inspite of my repeated requests.

How irresponsible is that on the part of Vodafone representative. Just sell the product by saying what ever he wants and when the problem occurs no one is there to help.

What should be my course of action?

                                  Thanks,

                                    Sir,
I have been a regular user of the Vodafone no. [protected] since the last six years.
On the 7th of January, 2011 I got a call from a supposed tele-caller who informed me that my number had been shortlisted to receive an amount of Rs. 50, 000. On inquiring about the scheme, he convinced me that the company periodically selects certain numbers to which this cash prize is given. He also said that this money can be had only if I deposit Rs. 250 in the form of recharge coupons and also register the secret code and serial numbers of the same. Keeping in mind the repute of the company, I went ahead and bought the recharge coupons. After I had provided the details required to the telecaller, he assured me that I would receive intimation within an hour. However, within the next half an hour I got another call from the same caller, telling me that I would have to deposit another
Rs. 200 again because the company wants Rs 450 in total and this amount will be reimbursed when the Rs 50,000 is deposited in my bank account. I took the chance and was assured the same thing that the scheme is not fraud and that I would receive the intimation. No intimation came. On Saturday the 8th, I checked up the matter with the caller, who then informed me that the last Rs 200 I had deposited the previous evening, was not showing on the computer and so I would have to pay that amount again. I tried to reason out with him that as per the instructions, I had deposited Rs 450 and if that amount has not been entered on the computer it is their fault. He remained adamant stating that nothing could be done. Then, I offered to register the numbers again as I had the coupons with me but the response was negative.

Sir, I feel cheated because I did comply with the instructions and because of their technical and personnel fault, I have lost my money as well as my faith. Kindly look in to the matter and do what is necessary. I am providing all the details below.

Vodafone — Cheated by informing fraud scheme

I received a call for conversion of my prepaid into postpaid connection from vodafone executive Aman Srivastava of Okhla phase-2 office New Delhi.
Firstly he told me that in Rs249 plan i'l get 500min local mobile to mobile free, so i accepted the conversion of my prepaid into postpaid.
I confirmed this plan by calling their customer care, from there i came to know that no such plans exists.
Then i again got call from same executive so I questioned him of his loyality. he said sorry sir since my father died so i was on leave for 2months so was unupdated of plan.

Then he told me different plan that in Rs 249 plan I'll get 350min local mobile to mobile free. and call charges will be as follows
                                    local m2m: 30p/min
                                    local m2LL: 50p/min
STD mobile to any network: Rs1.20/min
On roaming all STD and local incoming and outgoing calls @Rs1/min.
So i accepted again. But when the SIM delievery executive(Amit) came I made him to write all the rates and sign that as proof.
Then I got the sim. but when i received the call from verification dept. they told different rates. i.e.
                                    local m2m: 30p/min
                                    local m2LL: 50p/min
                                    STD Vodafone to vodafone: Rs1/min
                                    STD Vodafone to others: Rs1.50/min
On roaming STD outgoing calls @Rs1/min, and local incoming, [protected]@Rs1/min
So i agin found myself cheated, hence i didn't activated my postpaid sim. I was continuously getting calls from customer care for activation so i told i'll activate this no. if they will let me talk that Aman Srivastava. So finally i talked him, and questioned him why did he lie me?
He gave an excuse that sir since my fathed died so i was on leave. I have tremendous pressure to complete me targets so i lied you to lure you and make a sale.
Kindly help me to command these frauds. I want action against company.
