a vodafone customer executivecalled me up today at 2:48 pm from [protected] and was informing me about the activation of MCI alerts on my number([protected]) where as i didnt rqst 4 ne such activation.these people are activating MCI alerts at their own discretion chossing no. randomly.
it was earlier activated on one of my other no. as well and the balance deducted was not credited back and the executive who reverted back was extremely rude
the customer service of vodafone is actually useless.

Vodafone — miss call service activation refund

there was a call from vodafone office they tell me that you have won a samsung tv because i was there special customer.they tell me that we have activated miss call information on your number and they have deducted a balance of 30 rs
and they have not given me samsung tv.
i have called customer care on 198.they tell me you have won nothing
and the number from which i got call ([protected]) they tell me you have won a sure gift.
and they tell me lie for activation of service.
and i want refund of my money

    dear sir,
    i am a customer of VODAFONE prepaid from last 5 years and vodafone postpaid([protected]) from last one year. while giving postpaid to me they have assured me that they will send bill to my billing address and they will rectify my probems immediately. but in this one year i have not received any bill from them. i have requested them lot of times regarding this. vodafone executive visited once my billing address , even after that also they have not sent my bills to my address. when i called their customer, continuously they will tell about their plans but they will not connect me to their executives,

    we can travel from kashmir to kanyakumari but we cant trace call center executives of vodafone to register a complaint.
    even if you want to register a complaint through the number 198, they will not register

    because of these reasons i have not paid the bill from last month.
    now they have sent me a demand notice for payment of the bill.
    now they are wandering around my billing address for payment.
    funny part is they dont care and they dont know how to send me a hardcopy of bill but they want money

    i have clearly clarified them that send my bill(original) once and take ur money immediately

    and my billing address is in middle of 'hyderabad'

      This is Rohit Gupta.My no. is [protected].Iwanted to complain regarding the unauthorized deduction of 40n rupeees by vodafone by saying that they have activated missed call alerts although i didnt want anything of that sort.I have called their customer care several times but i cant directly speak to their customer care executives.Thus,i want an immediate reimbursement of rs.40.

        Vodafone is definitely a bloddy fraud. I was charged twice for gprs under Vodafone Live plan and Iphone plan which is just Internet..first they tell me they cannt reverse the amount even though they are at fault then they tell me they will reverse INR 299 in my next billing cycle and then they come back and tell me again that they cannt do it...bunch of they are. And i have been trying to unsubscribe from the service by sending the SMS, through my account and even by talking to their no good call center adn they wont let me unsubscribe either. Bloody frauds for sure..no point complaining everyone from Vodafone should just shift to another service provider and they shud shut shop in India...

        The dont know anything they tell me youtube and some other thing dont come as part of the package...and i have been using this for the past 5 months and earlier on it was part of the plan but apparantely its not now..

        Thanks for your reply. And i appreciate the gesture, however the excess amount that has been charged is to the tune of INR 546 also i will bring to your notice that if I am subscribed to IPhone plan youtube and other applications come under the plan since i am paying separately for the plan. I have been using the gprs connection since July-August and I am well aware of what is chargeable and what is not. Infact i do not even need to be subscribed to the Vodafone Live services if I am subscribed under the Iphone data plan.



        I again request you to credit the entire Rs. 546 which has been unlawfully charged. Refunding only part of the plan does not make Vodfone come out clean out of this and why is only part refunded. This goes so long to say that Vodafone is at fault which it accepts but will not return my money.

          I wanted to activated Zero Rental GPRS on my Vodafone Mobile Number, for which I had raised a request by calling the call center. They then instructed me to forward a message ACT VL to 111. I did accordingly. I was surprised to see a rental amount of 49 Rs in my bill for that month. I called up the customer care who then explained me that instead of a Zero Rental Plan a Vodafone Live @ 49 plan has been activated. Also since it has been activated only for 10 days the amount cant be reversed back to me.

          This information was provided to me a person name Kiran Kumar (Supervisor: Anish) from the Vodafone Customer Care center.

          Also since now the new billing cycle has already started, for this ongoing month also I would be charged a whole 49Rs, which is completely insane.

          Vodafone has cheated me in activating a 49Rs GPRS Rental plan when I wanted to activate a Zero Rental One..and to top it all I will be charged for 2 months and would not get any reversal.

          Please assist me in same.

              I have purchased new vodafone prepaid sim just 8-10 months ago when I shifted from Mumbai to Bangalore.
              I gave my passport photocopy for ID and Address proof.
              Last week I got call from vodafone customer care about address verification.
              They verified and just one week later my outgoing call blocked and getting message that submit address proof again.

              my concern is that after verifying address details over phone they are asking it again and blocked my out going.
              Why Vodafone is hiring such idots who can't do it their jobs in correct way and troubling customers?

              I went to vodafone outlet in whitefield and they said that resubmit the proof and it will take another 48 hours for unblocking outgoing calls.

              But what is my fault, the address is same? They can atleast inform before blocking outgoing...
              I am not a terrorist just unfortunate indian. hate to be indian.

              Bloody vodafone and it's idots' employees....
              After Submitting the address proof again on last tuesday 14/12/2010, The Outggoing is still blocked.

              Why TRAI is not black listed this british company to do business in india. It's cheating government and citizens...
              Dear vodaphone department,
              I am the consumer of vodaphone, but the governtment role is correct, but also the harragment the good users.So i think that all the connection are not cut.

                I had called vodafone customer care on [protected] on 30th October 2012 at 1630 to inquire about incoming call barring. When the cust.reps. response did not help, i agn called the cust. care at 1800. After that call I could bar incoming call from a particular nbr. on my cell but I dont knw what settings were changed by the vodafone cust. care centre, I am not receiving any SMS and not able to send any SMS.
                I call the customer care agn on 31st Oct but all in vain. I was den told to remove the sim card from the existing cell and try sending message thru other device but I still cudnt send message. I inserted another sim card in my existing cell and tried send message and it was a success.
                This means the problem is with the sim card I am currently using.
                Please resolve this problem as I am missing out on contacting my friend who are abroad.

                  Subject: Incorrect information regarding international roaming tariff Mobile No.[protected]


                  This is to inform you that I am a vodafone user since the last 7yrs.I have been a completely satisfied customer until my last experience.

                  I was travelling to Dubai from 3rd to 9th Dec 2010.I called up your customer service on the 3rd morning to checkout the tariff plans for international roaming. I was informed that it was Rs.40 per minute & Rs.15 per SMS & a monthly roaming activation charge of Rs.149 by your executive. Since I was okay with the tariff communicated to me I informed your executive to go ahead an activate the same.

                  However when I returned back on 9th my outgoing was bared & I was informed that I have crossed my credit limit & that my unbilled amount is around is Rs.13900.I again called your customer care & they informed me that they will reactivate outgoing & I should visit a Vodafone store for reversal of my billed amount. I immediately made a payment of rs.5000 on 10th dec.I visited the Vodafone Store in bandra West the very next day & was informed by your Executive Mr.Nevil tht I have been charged Rs.185 per minute & Rs.15 per SMS & a monthly roaming activation charge of Rs.149 which is the international tariff & cannot be reversed at any cost.Mr.Nevil was extremely rude & not customer friendly & also bluntly told me to do what I like.

                  This is ridiculous customer service & miscommunication from your customer care end.
                  I would request you to kindly look into this matter & have the necessary reversals done. Since most of your calls are on recorded lines you can re-verify the information passed on to me the first time I called up on 3rd dec.

                  Your assistance will be highly appreciated.

                    I am using Blackberry Storm and have Blackberry 299 plan from Vodafone. On this plan I was not able to browse internet, therefore I requested vodafone to activate unlimited 599 plan. But after one month, I got a bill with usage charges of Rs. 5000. I called up cusomer care and explained that i am using unlimited 599 internet plan and then promised by Customer care that O shoud only pay my monthly average charges and this extra charges will be deducted in the next bill. It's been more than 1 and half months that my outgoing has been blocked due to the non-payment of Vodafone internet charges which is unnecessarily added to my bill. I have talked to more than 10 customer care people, some say no need to pay. some say i have to pay. But I have not used vodafone live and I am not going to pay anything for that. Now I really don't know what to do. I am very happy with Vodafone services and don't want to switch to wny other servoce provider, but I have to as my outgoing is barred.

                    Please suggest a solution.

                      with due respect i want to submit my complaint against area disributor and an employee named Neeraj in vodafone service centre at Dullahapur dist. Ghazipur in (up) who are irresponsible in dealing with customers and don't provide the satisfoctory service to the customer.as i run my shop named jai mata di mobile world and i am a good seller of vodafone products but i don,t get proper information of current schemes from the vodafone service centre.As there a internal relationship between area distributor and service centre, so they don't get activate the SIM sold from my shop.so my customers are going unsatisfied.And sir i also give the money to the vodafone service centre.my condition is just like fish out of water..so sir i hope the immediate resolution from your part so that i could run my shop well..

                      Vodafine IN / Sim Card — Service Related Complaint

                      Respected Sir,

                      My Name is manoj. I am a permanent resident of Shahabad (M), Distt. Kurukshetra, Haryana. Presently i am in Chandigarh and staying in Sec 41, Chandigarh.

                      I purchased a new SIM card ([protected]) From SHIVA Communications, SCO 146-147, Cabin no 101, Sec 34A, Chandigarh at[protected]. I submitted all the required identification documents as per the requirements. My number starts working within few hours at the same day. It was working fine till[protected]. But at the night of 24th September, Vodafone Company blocked my Caller ID and Outgoing. I talked to the customer care at the next day (25th Sep) but they were not willing to listen about my problem.
                      Then at 25th Sep they blocked my incoming also. Then i approached to the person from whom i purchased the Sim Card. He talked to the Vodafone people and told me that my document were not clear that’s why they blocked my number. Again i gave my ID and Photo to the concerned person. But today[protected] till 11:00AM my number was not working.

                      Now i want to arise two Questions:

                      First of all, if the documents provided by me was not proper then why Vodafone IN didn't call me or Sms me about that. Isn't it there duty to give a good service to their customer?

                      Second thing is, Starting service to a new number without proper verification is against the rules of TRAI. Without verifying my documents how they started the services on my number.

                      Sir, I am an unemployed person. I am searching for a job, that’s why i purchased this local number of Chandigarh. But I lost a lot of interview calls just because of their bad service. Now i want to file a complaint against the Vodafone IN (Punjab Circle). They made me very harassed from last 1 week. Now I want the justice. Please help me out.

                        As per the Government of India, Department of Telecommunications Notification No.1-34/2006-VI (Pt I) dated[protected], all mobile operators are required to re-verify their subscribers for correct and complete information. (During this process the service providers can correct their subscriber’s record wherever they find that the documents collected from the customers earlier are inappropriate or missing.) that the documents have to be checked on the existing documents which were submitted.
                        Now, WHY VODAFONE IS EXPECTING A RESUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS,MY QUESTION IS
                        1. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE EARLIER DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED?
                        2. WHY VODAFONE IS COLLECTING NEW DOCUMENTS?
                        3. IF THE EARLIER DOCUMENTS ARE MISSING, WHAT IS THE GUARANTEE FOR THE NEWLY SUBMITTED DOCUMENTS?
                        4. IN THE NAME OF SECURITY MY EARLIER DOCUMENTS CAN BE MISUSED, WHO WILL GIVE THE SECURITY FOR THOSE INFORMATION.

                        VODAFONE IS MAKING ME UNDERGO HARRASMENT BY DISCONNECTING THE SERVICES, WHEN CONTACTED THE CUSTOMER CARE, IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOUR BY THE STAFF.THIS IS
                        THE FATE OF AN INDIAN MOBILE SUBSCRIBER.

                        WHERE IS THE SECURITY, PLEASE JUSTIFY, I AM FED UP WITH VODAFONE.

                          The customer care department MUMBAI is either picked from slums or they have been trained to deliberately keep on wasting the time of the consumer by transferring the call to other executives instead of the one who will address the solution, then putting in a long hold, asking for various details for even small queries (as if we have done a crime) , using cliche dialogues "Sorry for the inconvenience will definitely help you" and they don't help us but complicate the matters ,consume our time and money as well.. the most pathetic service and their nodal officer too seems to be sleeping.
                          Once a multi caller tune was automatically enabled on my cellphone and 99/- were deducted and when I objected to the charges deducted I was told that I had enabled it and which is why my balance ran to -99 rupees, they told me to send a message to cancel the service if I didn't want it and since it was a catch22 situation and a helpless state I tried sms'ing "CAN CT" but the sms didn't go through ( I was having a 350 free sms pack and there was a good deal of balance in it) when I told the customer care dept that I was unable to send the sms, they told me that I need to have a minimm 1/- Rupee balance to use the free SMS pack (strange), my question is when I had a free SMS pack I still had to have a 1/- Rs in my account to send a message but when my balance was already low why did they deduct and got the balance to the negative side of 99/- Rs for a caller tune service (which I never applied for) couldn't they have stopped that deduction as well?? When I asked this question to them they disconnected the call.

                              Sir, I bought a prepaid sim of vodafone on 26/10/10 mobile no. [protected].The service was suddenly stopped on 25/11/10 without prior information. when I contacted retailer he advised to resubmit the document in the vodafone office situated at Dattawadi, Nagpur. I submitted the document same day but till date the sim has not been activated. The vodafone company is not taking any initiative to re-activate the number mentioned above.                                 This is Sharad Dond, i am having three vodafone postpaid sim cards ([protected], [protected], [protected]). I have paid my bills by cash for all the three nos. on 17/11/2010 at Vodafone mini stores, Hanumant communications, guru angad dev complex, Nainital road, rudrapur (Udham singh nagar) but the payments not updated till date.
                                My services were stopped hence i have made the payment twice for the same bill, second payment is updated but first one is yet to update.
                                Below are the payment details:-

                                  I have activated BONUS 5card service in my prepaid Vodafone Sim number [protected] on 09/12/2010 at 12.05 am. The so called service is for 500 messages free for 2 days of
                                  time.But for the very next day that is on 10/12/2010 the company took charges for sending messages from my account,though there was 263 messages are remaining for free in my account.when I called & informed this matter in customer care on 10/12/2010 at 8.20 am they also agreed with this matter and I was told that my account will be refunded within 48 hours and my request has been registered.Unfortunately even now my account has not been refunded and also I lost one day service of free messaging among the so called provided two days.This is not the first time happening to me,so please consider this mail as a complaint and hope you will take proper actions against this severe fault. According to me losing of 1 rupees from my account is so painful for I value money and know the difficulties of earning.I hope my mail will not be underestimated and will be given proper concern.

                                    On this month i purchased a new vodafone postpaid connection. Till now i din't give this number to any one but daily i got many wrong number calls they ask about a some person, that's mean company re-issue this number. My point is that if i am taking a new connection than why i m handling this type of problem why company issue a used number in new sim card......

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      I am Vijayakumar. I wanted to change the ownership of my post paid vodafone number ([protected]) to my friend. We went to Bannerghatta vodafone store on 1/12/2010 and submitted all documents. They informed us, it will take 10 working days. My friend had called vodafone customer care on 8/12/2010 and they informed us that it willbe done by today(10/12/2010). This is not done upto now and they informed us that there is no requeust such tha and again wanted to go to the store again.

                                      I am not sure what the servcie they are doing. Please do the needful

                                        I am a customer of Vodafone Mobile Service Provider since long back. I have been enjoying their service for last 5 to 6 years. As per the recent circular of DOT ( Department of Telecom ), I got a message from Vodafone that I have to submit all the relavent documents ( e.g. CAP, Voter ID card, PAN card and address proof ) to nearest Vodafone store to continue my connection otherwise the service provide will stop my connection. As per their instruction, I have submitted all the required docs. to them ( Vodafone Mini Store - Dalhousi Area at Kolkata ). After submission all the required documents them ( without failing), I got that my connection started within 24 hours which was stopped after I got the first message from Vodafone. After a month, I got the same message that if I do not submit the required ( mentioned above ) then they would stop my connection, that time they had stopped my connection. I spoke to the concern authority that I had submitted all the document to them but they show me their system that DOT has rejected my document, where they have no clue why DoT had rejected my documents. Later on I have submitted the same documents once again and I got the connection back again. Today ( 09.12.2010 ), I once again got the same message from their end, to submit the required documents to continue my mobile service. But, they have not stopped my connection yet. Now, my question is what kind service we are getting from Vodafone, this is a very hectic serive I am enjoying from a reputed mobile service provider in India. If I call their customer care, then nobody is able to answer my query, if I visit to Vodafone store then they are not answering my question except asking for the same document. Now, I have to think to give up the Vodafone connection and have to think for a new one. As, I have provided this number to all of my friends, colleagues and relatives. If I discontinues this number then I will loose many contacts this is big deal for me. I would request you to take the necessary action on my complain thus I can enjoy the Vodafone connenction forever. Otherwise, I have to swith to any other Mobile Service Provider. I would like to stop this kind of harrassment from a reputed Mobile Service Provider.
                                        This needs to be taken care off. Because, all the subscriber of Vodafone are experiencing the same issue. Please stop this irresponsible activities of Vodafone employee and the service provider.
