Dear sir,

I draw your kind attention to this fact that, i, Sandip Kumar Mandal,a owner of Vodafone prepaid connection ([protected]), want to lodge a complain against vodafone essar ltd and a retailer having ph no [protected].A guy having ph no [protected] and claiming that he is calling from vodafone and disturbing me by blocking my phone with the help of vodafone employee 4 times and sending me some threatening message Actually on last Saturday(20/11/2010),i got a recharge of Rs 100/- and fact is that i didn't give any request of recharge.He mistakenly recharged to my number and claiming for the money.I have repeatedly said that i didn't do any mistake,why should i pay but still he had been demanding for the money.He also get the call details and information about my recent call s from the vodafone essar ltd. and called those peoples.
On monday(22/11/2010) i gave a security password to vodafone store,Howrah (near sarad sadan) but at night he get the password from vodafone essar ltd and block my no again.In between he was calling me from several phone number ([protected],[protected] etc.) and sending me many threating message like that"Mr. sandip kumar mandal just wait and watch","R 5 min dekhbo tar por off kore debo","tor sim ta on thakbeto".I am sure that Vodafone essar ltd is responsible for this because only Me and Vodafone Essar ltd had aware of my security password.No one can know my password without help of vodafone essar ltd.Today(23/11/2010), I have Lodged a General Diary near our locality police station (Shibpur Police Station,Howrah,West Bengal), having the GD NO.-2397.
But I am very upset about Vodafone essar ltd.Here I am complaining against them for not providing security to the customer.


Please look after this matter and take the right step and inform me.

    Hi Sir,

    My mother has a mobile connection from your company [protected] under the name of Sakshi Channa, in her current bill she has been charged sum of approx. 846/- INR for the bill plan activation. This is to inform you that we have never given any approval to Vodafone or any of their employees to change our plan, instead we have told them many times to call us back with some good bill plans. We had talked to the executives at Vodafone Customer Care but they want us to pay this amount else we would be charged late fee. We need your assistance as paying 1500/ INR is not practical for me and that too for those services which I have never even asked for.

    Vodafone — bill without use

    I m havig a postpaid connection of vodafone.my mobile no. Is [protected] in which my bill is charged every month with international messages.the no. Is only 0.i made several complaints on customer care but invain.please tell me the cure of it.

    Vodafone — charged without call

    I have lost Rs 40 immediately @8.51pm on 18-12-09 while making acall.
    As i i dialled the number i heard the recorded dialogue from vodafone that "This facility is not available for u now" & the call ended.Actually there hadnt any call even for zero seconds.But when i called to customer care ,they told me that my call duration was 19 seconds & thats why i lost 40 rupees!!!How is it possible?

      I have been utilizing Vodafone Prepaid Mobile since 2006. My Mobile number is [protected] (Off Chennai Region).

      On 20th November 2010, I have recharged with Rs.14/= (TN [protected]) to make internet access. After recharging it, i contacted the customer care of Vodafone services, to get the activation rights for accessing the internet. They have sent me the activation message. And i browsed the internet after an hour of the recharge.

      After sometime, i had checked my balance, where it was deducted of Rs.165/=. Knowing that, again i contacted the customer care. They informed me that the internet can be accessed after 5 hours of recharging. But they didn't intimate this information, when i had talked with the customer care for getting over the activation access. Even they haven't informed me through message services.

      I am totally disappointed through this process. For your information, Vodafone is sending service request message (e.g. Are you satisfied with the Customer Care Executives response?), which is not necessary for the customers.

      As a service provider, Vodafone must inform these procedures to the customers through message services.

      I want to get refund of my deducted amount (Rs.165/=) from the Vodafone services.

      I want the concerned authorities to solve this issue. And also, telecom regulators must ensure the customers that it should not happen once again from the service providers.

        My vodafone prepaid sim card ([protected]) suddenly got deactivated. If I recharge my acc. even if for 10 Rs. it is getting activated for 1 day i.e. midnight.

        Vodafone store at Chembur & Vashi couldn't solve the problem. Vashi store intimated to visit again in weekdays, as per them there is some problem at backend.

        Changing the sim card is not at all a good solution as my number is with many people. I had already submitted my documents to vodafone service center for 4 times. These prosedures are really hectic & at the end not solving the problem too.

        hi there i use a prepay sim in my phone for my business. i have just noticed today that i wont recieve calls now. when it did a few days ago. what can i do to activate it. i NEED this number all my advertizing has this number on it
        i have never put credit on it, as its for incoming calls only. but i can get through to the top up line so think it still works but just wont recieve any calls. HELP

        Vodafone — deactivation of card automatically

        Dear Sir,
        In 2010 beginning i purchased vodafone sim with number [protected]. and i recharged it with 400/- for lifetime validity. I am having another number of airtel (madras) with number [protected].It was recharged and it was having a balance of rs 1020/- . I used both the sim in one mobile and i did not use it for quite a some time. I used to switch on my mobile every now and then just to see the balance and my main purpose is to have the vodafone sim active so that when my balance of chennai number(airtel) is ehxausted i can use the vodafone number in future. I thought of disposing of airtel mobile number as it was no longer required by me as i am now settled in delhi.
        Few days back when i switched on my mobile i found that my airtel sim was active but the vodafone sim displayed "inactive Sim", I contacted the vodafone people and i came to know that my sim was suspended automatically and it was later issued to somebody else because of non usuage for some time, however my airtel sim remained active for the same period.
        When i had recharged my vodafone sim for lifetime validity with a balance of rs 400/- then how can the company suspend my sim just like that?
        The company also did not give satisfactory reply regarding refund of my balance.
        please look into the matter and resolve this issue.

          Dear Sir / Madam,

          I am using Vodafone service. I am surprised to see my Oct - Nov 2010 bill. I have been charged for international SMS which I have not sent. Number is[protected]. I have checked in the google, so many people are facing the same problem. If I will call the customer care I will be charged for the call also. I can not keep on follow up right. And the response from a customer care person was not good. I have asked for a long time to hold. Why we have to get charged for the unnecessary things? Please do the needful.

With the newer breed of Salman, Rahman, Asraf, Altaf, Junaid, Mohammad, you are guaranteed to be given false promises, false dates of redressal of grievances, you may even hear goodies such as bhan,,#$@, madar#$%%^^&. I guarantee you this. Please subscribe to Vodafone.

            Lastly, the speed which you would get is really constipated. My comes out of my rear faster than the the speed at which the downloads happen with Vodafone 3G ready USB data card even when I am terribly constipated. Don't take my word. Go ahead and become an unfortunate customer yourself and then realise all the abovesaid.

            Vodafone 3G USB data card — Vodafone 3G USB data card

            Hi,

            I have purchased Vodafone 3G USB data card on 22-Jan-2011 and they told me that the current 2G speed will be no more than 200 kbps. currently the speed it 0 bps tp 20 kbps and when i spoke to vodafone customer care they say in India it cannot be more than this speeds and when asked how tata indicom, airtel is providing with much better speeds they dont have an answer.

            i took monthly 599.00 unlimited plan and they are telling me that they can give 50% waiver on the monthly bill. if we agree to this then we are supporting them.

            I want to get back my 1600.00 paid to them for the purchase of the usb data card.

              I Doodi Lavanya bearing the telephone numbers [protected]/[protected] on behalf of P. Ednatej. I have been using this number it’s been more than 4 years from now.
              As per your request we have submitted the hard copies of the required documents at Malakpet Vodafone store on November 05, 2010. Still my clip services have been deactivated. I am just wexed with the services provided by Vodafone.

              Initially as Ednatej is not in Hyderabad I have even submitted the soft copies of the Address Proof, ID Proof, and a Passport size photograph to Corporatecare.[protected]@vodafone.in but the worst part is I did not get any response from them.

              This is the second time that Vodafone had disconnected my CLIP Services.

              For the first instance I have called them and spoke to the Floor in charge and she some got my services activated in 5 hours of time.

              For the second time I decided that I will get my number disconnected and take a new connection. But still I called the customer care people and on Saturday November 20, 2010 at around 9 am and she informed me that there is some technical error and she assured me that the services will be back in 5 hours. I thought this is done but trust me till now my services are not yet activated.

              If so this is the case then no one would like to go forward with the services provided by you people.

                This is Varun Talwar having a Vodafone Prepaid Mobile connection (Mob No.- [protected]).

                Sir, it is hereby informed you that i am facing a serious network coverage problem at my residence (Address: 470, Dr. Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi-110009.) from about past 2 years, the day since I have shifted at the said address. There is a major internal network coverage problem which is causing me immense trouble & inconvenience in making & receiving calls etc.

                Many complaints in this regard have been lodged by me with the company, however no serious action have been initiated from there side. They don't have any intention to rectify the problem despite of being totally aware of the problem. They are doing nothing except of demanding time limits.

                Sir, it is a sincere request to please give your kind attention to this issue & get the problem fixed as soon as possible by hammering the company to provide the right kind of services for which they are being paid for.

                  With due respect i would like to bring following points into your notice.....
                  Sir vodafone has recently closed down its bonus card of 249 which provided the services of free voda 2 voda n 1p/2sec for 1 month............It has now hiked it to bonus card 399 with same benefits plus an addition of Rs50 talktime..........Being a very loyal customer of vodafone., i would like to tell u that this hike in the BC is not taken well by many of d voda users in ma vicinity.........249 BC was mainly used by the student group, who think that 399 is too big a sum for them 2 afford......moreover since due 2 banning of messaging services in Kashmir, people largely depend on phone calls.........Other service providers r providing a similar service at a lesser price Eg. aircel 248 BC, Reliance 149 BC etc........My friends who are all voda users(around 15 in no.)are planning 2 shift 2 reliance...........this might well be the case of many more users around..........i hope immediate actions will be taken, inorder 2 prevent ur market share from diluting...........

                    There were wrong deduction for gprs use with Vodafone sim.

                    I want to compalint about vodafone prepaid coustmer care excutives and there services...
                    i am suffering due to deducted balance in the account...i have recharge Rs.50/- dated 03/12/2010 evening than reflect Rs. 42/- in my account,
                    but I checked the balance dated 04/12/2010 early morning than i saw my account balance is
                    Rs. - 6/- i shockd that time than i calld vodafone customer care, bt coustmer care are so irresponisble & dont give me any satisfied solution..i realy very angry due to their service...one thing more is that vodafone coustmer excutives are giving different wrong answer each time i am shocked.
                    pls reply as soon as possible and send me a soft copy of my outgoing calls dated 01/12/2010 to till date.
                    I am waiting...

                      I already submit my documents on 20/11/2010 at 10.30 a.m. at "BELGHORIA VODAFONE MINI STORE" Counter.

                      Thereafter my Incoming Calls does not display in my mobile sets. Now I am in very difficult situation. I decide that I have surrender my SIM Card before VODAFONE Company.
                      I have submit my documents as your request since 1 month ago. But I didn't know the dealer deposited or not deposit my documents to VADAFONE Company ? So, I decide that I will submit my documents direct "VODAFONE MINI STORE" within the week.

                      From yesterday, incoming calls number was not display in my mobile screen. So, I am in travel.

                      I am in Advocate and no communicated with my clients.

                        Somany Times i got Screen messages whenever i'm trying to lift a incoming call some times those messages automatically activated and 3 Rs Deducts from my Prepaid Balence ... Please Stop those Messages & One More Complaint is Some Times i Got Some Missed Calls From Caller Tune I'm Completely Distrubed with this kind of Activities ... Is This Fare on Your's Services ... Please Stop doing this kind of thins pleaseeee ....
                        Completly ageeing here.
                        Especially money being deducted beacuse of the new way to cheat customers is absolutely bad.
                        I think this is something for which customers should sue you guys for stealing thier hard earned money by introducing these new ways.

                          I’ve been a Vodafone customer like the rest of my family members and my experience like theirs has been totally unsatisfactory due to the deplorable services that Vodafone provides.

                          I’ve been using the number x since April 2010. Since my usage was not much as I was using it for incoming only, I decided to change to prepaid. However I was advised by your corporate care group that if I wanted to change to pre-paid, I must visit a Vodafone Store. They also suggested that I consider the Lifetime Free plan.

                          I went the nearest Vodafone store and enquired the process for migrating to Prepaid and also the details of the Lifetime plan. I was provided with the information and like any common customer, I trusted what I was informed. I was persuaded by the Vodafone store that the Lifetime Free was not only economically more effective but also that migration to Lifetime Free will take much less time and effort. The information given to me was as follows:
                          1. For prepaid, the migration will involve change of SIM card that will take 2-3 days, compulsory top-up of minimum 200 every 3 months
                          2. For Lifetime Free, I was offered a more beneficial plan i.e one-time payment of 449 instead of 999, waive off of charges for CLIP and itemised bill.
                          Since obviously, it was very apparent that the Lifetime Free plan was more cost-effective, I gave the go-ahead for migration to Lifetime free plan. However, my peace my mind was short-lived. I did not know that Vodafone could not be trusted, that Vodafone employees make dishonourable commitments and that they blatantly dupe customers.

                          I was SHOCKED to see my bill. All the benefits I was assured of, the very basis of my migrating to this plan, were not extended to me at all! The commitment made to me was not honoured. My bill included charges for CLIP (for an entire year) and itemised bill that was supposed to be waived off as per the word of the Vodafone executive. In the last 3 months, I made multiple complaints by – all I ever got was auto-acknowledgements.

                          While the goof-up made by your employee was NEVER resolved, instead my number has now been DEACTIVATED – there is neither any incoming not any outgoing.

                          Can you please make sure that the commitments made to your customers are honoured?
                          Can you please ensure that the CLIP and itemised bill charges are rolled back and service is restored on my phone??

                            Hello,

                            I took a Vodafone connection 6 months back in my name and I am an international traveler. I have enabled International roaming by paying the deposit. I work for a company as Vice President - BD. We decided to take a corporate plan and migrate all our users to the Corporate plan.

                            This migration happened when i was in the US, and suddenly my connection got disconnected and I got a message asking me to submit relevant documents. I was totally unaware of this and my connection got disconnected and nobody was able to reach me which created a panic at family.

                            When i returned we submitted all the documents immediately and then the connection got reactivated. In the next few days, again I got the same message requesting me to submit documents stating there are some missing documents in it. We then submitted for the 3rd time the documents. It worked fine, every time the account manager who is assigned to our company is being asked they give a strange answer that Retail is different from Enterprise account and that is not their responsibility.

                            Finally i had to intervene in this after a month long fight with the VODAFONE team to understand why the documents were rejected. Thanks to a customer care executive who spoke to me over phone told me the problem is because that the PIN CODE is not actually matching to the document submitted against the address provided.

                            Well to my biggest surprise, they have taken even letters heads from my company which has a pin code. They admitted that it could be a mistake of the person who entered the details in the system at the Vodafone store. Just for this problem they have deactivated the line for one month because of their mistake.

                            Secondly i was asked to visit personally the vashi branch by Vodafone. So i visited on 18th November and then met a Executive by named [B]Amrin[/B], she informed me that she has rectified the pin code and wanted me to submit all the documents again. She also confirmed me that I may not be needed but only the documents.

                            So the next day my admin team went to Vodafone store to submit the documents again, this time they were informed that I have to visit personally to get this sorted and submit the documents. They also sent me a Customer Agreement Form again to refill all the information for the 4th time.

                            This is the most autrocious way of handling customers. I used to be a customer with Airtel for the last 6 years and was so pleasant in having their service. But this time it is really a BIG MISTAKE on my part to have opted for Vodafone firstly and convert that it in to a corporate plan.

                            I understood the reason of their brand dog now...they treat their customers like a dog to come behind them continuously...

                            Now i am not able to change this number because most of my customers have this number and i have circulated this to all of them. I have already lost few contacts because of this issue, which have counted to big numbers.

                            Let me know how to handle this problem please.

                            i have a voda fone prepaid cunestion no: [protected]. but unfortunately the sim was rejected last evening.
                            now i m going to a vodafone mini store to replaced that sim and they replaced that but their attitude and behaviour was very bad. i m not satisfide their service.

                            I will had taken a number [protected] for my time in western u.p., in mid november 2010 i had to go abroad for my cancer treatment, on returning back i have noticed this number has been given to someone eles. i have but no option but to go to consumer court as i feel you have breached a contract and am surprised how you could ever do a thing like this. the sim is still with me if my number dosen't work within the next two hours i will have no option.

                            vodafone sucks big time...i took a docomo sim and vodafone sim for my dual sim phone at d same time...submiited pan card copy and elelctricity bill as a proof...for both d sim...docomo got activated within 5 hrs...but its been 7 days and yet vodafone sim is not activated..when i contacted dealer..i came to 2 know that vodafone has rejected my documents as they are saying name of my father on bill and pan card differs..pathetic 2 say d least on d part of vodafone..speaking with customer care is almost like winning a battle...very bad experience so far..

                              On monthly basis vodafone deduct around Rs. 30 for CRBT rental charges i dont want that CRBT option. Infact I dont know what is CRBT. This is my 2 mail. Last month also i booked one complain to cancel the CRBT, but unfortunately still they have not cancell the CRBT and they taken the amount this month also so please take the necessary action. I dont want CRBT please immediately cancel it.

                                  i posted a complaint on 31st october and the customer executive(Mr Vikas Desai Ph .no.:[protected]) of vodafone called me up on 3rd of november asking about it and informed that Mr. Bansal has got it activated where as the number is used by no1 else except me

                                  again he called up on 9th of nvember and told that he has checked a recording regarding the request for service activation which was made by Ms Bansal and he had a very rude way of talking and refused to credit back the balance deducted

                                  already the customer care is so useless kinds and on top of that customer executive is asking me to switch over the service provider.this is the limit
                                  i want my balance back and apologies from this Mr.desai as well and wanna hear the recording of Mr./ Miss Bansal Who called up and requested for the service so that Mr Vikas can decide who called up

                                    Sub: Illegal and Arbitrary disconnection of My Vodafone No. [protected]

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    This is in reference to my above mentioned number. I would like to bring to your notice that I have been using this connection for past 15 years. For past few days I had been receiving some SMS from you (Service Provider) with re submission of documents with you.

                                    I would like to bring to your notice that all SMS received from your with regard to the submission of the documents never compulsorily contemplated me to furnish my personal details. It always stated that if I furnish and/or resubmit my personal details to the by 11th October 2010 you shall be eligible for a free talk time of 50 Vodafone Minutes.

                                    As I never willing and/or interested to avail the offer I never opted for the offer. Suddenly on 13/10/2010 the Caller Line Identification (CLI) was barred on my number and upon enquiry I was told that because of the non submission of the document you CLI have been barred.

                                    I would like to bring to your kind notice that Vodafone has launched itself post the takeover of Hutchison Essar on September 19, 2007.

                                    Sometime in 2008, I got my SIM card replaced with the new Vodafone SIM being SIM No.[protected]. As per the policy of Vodafone the exchange or new can only be issued to the person whom the SIM Card belongs to and on submission of proper identification details as per the records available with Vodafone. Also, in order to avail the new SIM Card for my number a new prepaid application form and along with the address proof and identity has to be submitted to the Service Provider. As I am already holding a New Vodafone SIM it is quite evident that I have submitted all my documents to you. Hence there is a very good question that were did my submitted documents go.

                                    After the barring of My CLI on October 27, 2010 I in self visited the Vodafone outlet at Girish Park, Kolkata and submitted a new form alongwith the My Voter ID Card and the PAN Card and took acknowledgement of the same on a Xerox copy as a proof of submission and immediately my CLI Service was re activated. Before handing over the form the originals were also verified by the official collecting the said forms. A copy of the form submitted alongwith the papers are annexed herewith for your perusal.

                                    Suddenly on yesterday (17/11/2010) to my utter surprise I found that the Connection to my number is temporarily disconnected on the ground of non submission of documents.

                                    Upon enquiry I was told that your line has been disconnected because you have not submitted the documents and can only be restored upon submission of documents.

                                    I am ready to submit the documents once again to the Service Provider Vodafone but request your good self to assess was it fair on the Part of the Service Provider to harass customers for the mistakes they commit? I would also pray to this humble court to award compensation to a tune of Rs. 10,000/- towards the mental harassment I have suffered because of the deficiency of service of the Service Provider

                                    Vodafone — illegal disconnection of outgoing calls

                                    sir,
                                    i m consumer of your company using post paid connection no. [protected] since last six years approx.i have recieved a bill no. [protected] for the period of 03.04.08 to 02.05.08 showing total outstanding Rs. 1544.71 and same has been segregated in Local, STD and ISD, in the abovsaid bill duration has been shown 242 minutes amounting Rs. 580.80, after going trough the detail of outgoing calls of STD, i found that a mobile no. [protected] has been appeared repeatdetly in the bill.on being analyzed the said detail of that number it appeared that call were made from my moblle phone for a duration of 229 and for that it has been charged a sum of Rs. 549.60 plus 12% service tax.
                                    In fact i have never made any outgoing call on the mobile no. [protected]. i made several calls to your custorm care and request them to get it verify as how my phone has been misused by someone but till today i did not receive any satisfactfory reply. thereafter i deposited my bill amount except the charges pertaining to the aforesaid number. my outgoing call has been disconnected, being an advocate i am facing the problem.

                                    i have sent a legal notice to your company but to tilldate i have not received any reply.
                                    i request you to consider the matter on priority.

                                    Vodafone - Postpaid SIM — Illegal disconnection of SIM

                                    Hi I hold SIM [protected] with Vodafone for the past 6 months which I use on my iPad. I have paid my last bill of Rs. 1,275 which was due on 25Mar11. Yesterday, Vodafone has disconnected the above SIM because the "credit limit" of Rs. 2,000 has been exceeded without any bill or even an intimation sent to me. I find this ridiculous since my track record on payments has been immaculate. I do not understand how they can unilaterally take such a decision without any intimation being sent to the customer. I hold another SIM with them for the past 15 years and where my credit limit is significantly higher than this is unused. I think that such actions should be severely penalised by the regulators so that these companies do not take customers for granted.

                                      Plan of my mobile [protected] has been changed from NO Monthly Rental to Rs 249/- rent based plan pe month. I had by mistake sent a SMS message for change and immediately - aalmost instantly- request for not changing my plan by sms and by email. Service provider had also confirmed that the plan was not changed.

                                      In the last plan they are showing change of plan and charged monthly rent of Rs. 249/-.

                                      In response to my complaint Vodofone has also said they have changed the plan on my request and cannot revert to my old no monthly rent plan

                                      Vodafone — Arbitary change of talk plan by Vodafone.

                                      Vodafone has arbitarily changed my hum-tum plan to a so called new hum-tum plan which entails a cost of Rs. 0.15 paise per call. I am requesting them to restore my old plan but their customer care says that it is company policy and that the old plan has been closed. What a funny plea by the company.

                                      It is an example of the company cheating consumers. I exhort the affected consumers rise to the occasion and seek proper redressal ?

                                        The Customer Care representative at the Minto Park Office of Vodafone, Mr. Sanuj Dutta, has been constantly calling me and harrassing me. He has been constantly trying to blackmail me and says that if i do not comply with what he says, he would alter my bills and i would need to pay huge sums to Vodafone.
                                        He is using the Vodafone system to system personal information about me and also tracing phone numbers where i make calls and threatens me of dire things.

                                        Please remove this person from your office, else i will have no other way than to resort to Police complaints and also, file consumer case for divulging my information to your representatives, who are the least responsible of your employees. Sanuj Dutta has made my life hell for the past 20 days and this behavior is also prompting me to switch services from Vodafone.
