Hi

on 22-oct-2010, I have signed and submitted form for putting my vodafone numbers [protected] and [protected] under safe custody for an year, in their Vodafone Store at Thane West Manpada store, I did pay Sapfe custody as well as all my unbilled amount for both my mobile numbers. I asked several times their representative that to make sure that the process is complete, and she assured me that it is being taken care of, so I dont need to worry about it.

Now I am in USA, and still getting bills, from them and when I call Vodafone customer care they say they cannot help me in any respect and can't even connect me to that vodafone store, there is absolutely no on Vodafone webistes from which I can get a contact for that vodafone number. By providing such rediculous customer care service and vodafone store service Vodafone says they are Happy to help that's ironical, I have done so many ISD calls to their customer care, but its all in vain. One of their representaive on phone said go to that Vodafone Store, will Vodafone pay for the tickets as well as other financial losses I'll bear, travelling back to India. Please help me raise my voice to Vodafone, as they are not ready to listen.

I have a Mumbai Vodafone no. I had to vist a Vodafone shop in Mumbai only to keep my no. in safe. Cannot keep it in safe custody through any vodafone shop even within Maharashtra but out of Mumbai. In today's world of net-banking, request vodafone to allow users to keep safe safe custody of a cell no. through their web portal

    As mentioned to above subject i Ratnadeep s Patwari was the customer of
    vodafone mobile lifetime service provider since 2005 .
    As i was 1st customer of BPL(perpaid) then HUTCH(prepaid) and afterwards vodafone(lifetime).
    I lost my cell in pune in year 2010 and i was not able to take another cell.
    So as i thought my number is lifetime but when i visited to vodafone center in pune they told me that your no. is not available on your name as i was lifetime member of vodafone also they have not intimated to me about my number to provinding to any other without my permision. i requested them but i didnt get my cell no. back.
    As i was using since many years i am in need of my no.

    so its my request to provide my cell no. back to me.
    Also i am ready to pay any charges to get back.Hope i will get my number
    back to me. so taht i will be thankful.

      I had a vodafone postpaid connection in Kolkata with the no[protected] for which i had repeatedly asked the customer care n vodafone store people to discontinue the connection as i had to shift to Chennai in a short notice. It has been more than 3 months now that i hav stopped using the number, but they continue to send me monthly bills with roaming charges, late fees. As a last resort to discontinue the connection i had stop payment of bill, for which they mail me writing this:
      "Please note that if the above overdue outstanding is not cleared by 4th December 2010, we shall be compelled to take necessary legal action as deemed fit."
      As also they have started visiting my home harassing my family members in kolkata regarding the same.
      The problem is they deny to discontinue connections even on request and I am not the only victim to their unethical dealings.

        i have two numbers with vodafone since the last one year. [protected] & [protected]. due to high bill charges and bad services i got them converted to prepaid on the 03/12/10. they vodafone gallery in mira road informed that in the next 3 hours the accounts will be active and they asked me to make payments for the recahrge in the gallery itself stating once its active the money will show up on your account. thus i made a payment of 29+29+333+99+89 on one account and then 29+29+222+89 on the other account for various services. my number got activates by 3 hours but then there was no balance on it. i called up the customer care they told it takes 24 hours or i should go to the store. they cant do anything. what kind o[censored]tter rubbish is this. i make the payments still i dont get the amount. i want file a complaint against them and go to higher authorities. the customer care is real bad and store keeps giving wrog information.

          my name is vipul vaghela holding 3 vodafone numbers, one day i had visited the vodafone store in mumbai, mulund-400080. at lbs marg, i went coz i wanted to convert my all postpaid numbers in to prepaid, so i enquired about it, the executive name yogesh attended me and he informed that this is not possible unless our manager talks to me in next 72hrs,he was not ready to co operate at all and all the time he was talking in a very rude manner & behaved very badly he also told jo karna hai karlo, so i had to leave, the next day this guy yogesh he stoped all my number's outgoing calls & i had to rush and today again 1 no has been blocked entirely, i want to complain regarding this that the company has no right to stop my calls where i had only enquired about prepaid with them kindly look into the matter.

          vodafone-India — barring of outgoin calls

          i am complaining against vodafone(india).i have a mobile connection of vodafone.i have been using these connection since one year 3 months.But due to flaw in the vodafone billilng system, every now and then they barr my phone and all its services.They have provided me with the credit limit of 3300/-.But never ever have i crossed the credit limit, but because of flaw in billing system of vodafone they make me cross the credit limit.90% of my calls are STD calls, and the unbilled amount is charged on the basis of rs.2.40/min.which is being discounted once in a month to my original rate that is rs 1/min.but for the whole month i am being harassed by vodafone calls for crossing the credit limit, when actually i m not crossing it.

            i am using vodafone no. [protected] .i have submitted all the documents as my identity proof twice but they have suspended my no. on 30 november 2010 without any information .when i went to the vodafone store for submitting the proofs again they didnt behaved well.I am in trouble with this vodafone and i dont know why they are demanding the proofs again instead of submitting them twice.please take necessary action.they alwayz trouble us like this.this the total harrasment

            Dear Sir/Ma'am,

            I had been using a corporate connection of Vodafone for the past 10 months. Today around 4 p.m. i received a message from Vodafone stating that my Outgoing calls have been suspended. I was surprised and called up their Customer Care Executive they said they have raised the request for reactivation. On my visit to the Vodafone centre i learnt that these customer care executive had never initiated any reactivation they have only taken the confirmation but not initiated. I also learned that they got a call from someone on 25th of March, 2009 asking for suspension of this number. To my Surprise, i never made any call and asked them for suspension of this number . Also, they have been receiving call for queries but i had never made a call to them. That makes it clear that some one else has called the up and asked for the suspension of this number. How can some one bypass the security question.
            They have been telling me that this number will be activated in 2hrs, 48hrs, 72 hrs. They are not sure themselves.

            This is unexpected and would like to bring this into the notice of TRAI and consumer court to claim damages for this mental harrasment.

              this is vishal here using vodafone number [protected] .

              and i have no problem in saying vodafone is the best service provide as i use but it is worst for the customer in every means.

              its more then two months still i am suffering from the same problem and its 2nd time i writing here.

              three times i have subited documents to vodafone for ownership change still the issue is not resolved.
              they even do not know who collected the documents from me.

              every time when i visit vodafone store new person is handling to whom i have to tell my story but they are just the stupid person on the earth they commit that tommorow u just met me or i will give u call regarding the issue but nither i got call from them nor my issues is resolved and when i go to v store then every time that person is not there .

              my issue is more than 2 months older and from last 15 days i went to vodafone store but noone there is gentleman who know every thing they are just a parasite every time sucking my blood.

              every time i called to vodafone centre we din have update about ur documents.

              so tell who should look after for updates????

              after i post my blog here i got a phn from mr kunal he was a gentleman [protected].
              called me that u just met the Vaibhav kapoor for the issue .

              i had a talk with all executive and yesterday withmr. vaibhav kapoor.alos he commited that he will provide response to me and give me a call regarding that i din got any response any of them any time if i dont visit store.

              so u can imagine how they are responsible............
              why u are paying money to them theyare there to help customer but customre suffers just because of them

              even if i complained for any body they just give me a no. on which no action willl be taken and never let mw know about my complained status.

              further all that i visit vod.store so much time that they know me by face .and this is jus rubish.

              i provide them even affidevit for ownership change they still ask for handwritten application .
              which it mean

              Sujat ,Akhil, Ruchi, and at the last vaibhav team head at vodafone store all of them are irresponsible .

              i dont know why they are there for .

              if all of them not access single customer for such a long time .

              take necessary action urgent or please access my file soon or i should go to court now..................

              this is my 2nd post here and still my issue is same .

              if i suffer more i will sue vodafone now on.

              and all of them to whom i talk because there is no other way to me.

              Dear Sir,
              I've given a request to vodafone store, alwar to change the ownership of Mob. no.[protected]. It's registered Subcriber is Mr. Vikas Bhargava S/o Keval Krishna, R/o House No. 128, Shree Krishna Nagar, Behind 23rd Sector, Housing Board, Pal Road, Jodhpur-342001 (Rajasthan). The ownership change request is in favour of my name i.e. Arun Kumar Agrawal. The request with essential documents and fees was submittted on dated[protected]. The Receiept of fees is enclosed. CAF No. is also mentioned in this receipt..But this Mob. No. (+[protected] is not transferred in my favour till date. I've visited many time to vodafone store and call the customer care and also called to nodal officer Mr. Ashish Chauhan. But there is no relief. I've also submitted a new CAF with docs on dated 03/04 Sep., 2010, But again a message received from there side that we are unable to process your for the change of ownership.
              So, please. take the strict action against the vodafone Co. and Penalise for the same due to about 02 months has passed but they are fail to change the ownership. This is harrasement of mine.

                VODAFONE Useless Customer Care Services

                Useless customer care

                I am one of the customer of "Vodafone" suffering from the worse services just because o[censored]seless "Customer Care Services.

                My purpose of writing is only to tell other people of Vodafone how much Useless company management you are having in UIT Circle, Udaipur, no one is sincere here in working.

                I went to Customer Care Centre at UIT Circle, Udaipur, on 1st December 2010 at 1.00pm and registered the complaint. I just want to convert my postpaid number into prepaid. He provided me the SIM Card & told me by today evening your services started.

                Again on 2nd Dec. 2010 I called up one executive he told me again dear by today evening your services started. Because it can take 24 to 48 Hrs. I agreed with him but again I visit UIT Circle Vodafone store on 3rd Dec. 2010 (Today) at 2:00 PM...........The customer care executive told me by today evening or today night your services will be started. This is ridiculous........

                This is the professional way of a Vodafone Customer Care Centre Executive at UIT Circle Udaipur. I dont want to mention name but its ridiculous .That incident gave me a bad impression about the Vodafone Customer Care Centre.

                1) I want to know the purpose of Vodafone Customer Care Centre’s kept across the country. Is it to fool the Customers and to collect revenue for the company only?

                2) Why Vodafone Customer Care Department which is having an international Brand image doesn’t train the Customer Care Centre Executives how to behave with the customers?

                3) The time is precious for all and why they are delaying unnecessarily? They can collect all the queries/complaints and call and inform the messages/solutions on our complaints if not able to process/reply at that moment.

                Vodafone — useless customer care service

                I am just fed up.I keep on getting messages that at my request phone tune has been activated an my a/c gets debited by Rs55.No such request ever was made.No reply is accepted through SMS on flimsy grounds.This is cheating and day light robbery.Let us join hands and expose this cheat company and throw them out.My no.is [protected].Not to talk o[censored]nsolicited calls and messages!
                I would have rated zero or in minus if ‘fair and honest dealing’ was one of the attributes. I know of at least ten persons who are running from pillar to post to get back their refunds from the company either on account of cancellation or on account of ‘refund of excess money’. The cheques issued by the firm bounces as a matter of routine as per their banker themselves i.e. ICICI koramangala.In my case also the cheque has been rejected on multiple counts. They have executives well trained and groomed to tell blunt lies. never ever think of buying from this builder.

                    Recently (last week of October, 2010) I changed my residence from Santacruz(W) to Bandra (E). According I was asking to vadaphone care how I change my communication address for my post paid connection. On 1st november 2010, one vaodaphone representative named Rohan Shirke intracted me to send some self attested documents through my official mail ID. Accordingly I follow the rule, but upto december 1, 2010. When I was enquired for that surprizingly their other officer named Mr. Abhishek Shanghari (2nd December 2010) intructed me to go their nearest mobile store with the same document alongwith one application. Really i shocked that in the same company different representative advise different rule for the same problem.

                      Warning to other customers: Complaint/Feedback - at the end of my mobile bill payment on IVR - i was told i had 'won' the choice to opt for a 'Giordano Laptop Bag' or a watch - i paid 499/- towards 'taxes' - i received the so-called-Giordano bag a couple of days back and i am fuming! i wouldn't pay 100/- for such a trashy replica on the streets!! This is extremely shoddy vendor management if vodafone knows those bags aren't the genuine article - the best part? i logged in a complaint 10 days back - no one has bothered to call - and i'm what they call a high 'ARPU' customer! Go figure!

                      Vodafone - you hearing this??? I'm writing to Giordano too

                      Please spread the word! Don't take such offers seriously - someone from Vodafone recently called and told me they cannot be responsible since they use a vendor for such items!!! Can you believe that!

                      Vodafone — cheating by vodafone mumbai

                      i bought a new connection no [protected] from vodafone gallary sion i was made to sign form on which i it was written my talk plan corp fv 199 after activation a person comes to my house for address verification who also explain about my talk paln corp fv 199 but when i recived the first bill to my surprise i was under sone new talk 199 and according to me my bill almost rose upto 3 times on the same day ie 3 april 2009 i maild a complain to all the concerned department where in i got a outgoing call from vodafone after some 7-8 days where in i was told that i have opted for new talk plan and i have cancelled the corp fv 199 in fact this was done at the sion gallary after activation so they have foold me for sellin a sim which is not worth 250 rs fortunately i had the copy of all the documents where i signed so i was told you need not worry and the paln will be changed and there wont be any deactivation till the plans changes but scince 21 april my outgoing call get deactivated every day and i have to take all the pains to restart my outgoing service above this i get calls i afternoon at my residence pressurising my wife to make the payment i have in 27 day made 27x3 complaints to vodafone care nodal officer corporate assit appellate authority but all to def ears i have personally visited sion gallary almost 10 times but nothing has been done till date if any one can suggest me where to complaint to some top authority please mail me at my mailing adress [protected]@gmail.com also please get xerox copy of all the documents you sign
                      I have already sent this mail to your customer care but till date none of you turn up. This is your BEST service quality, how promptly you are serving your valued customers. You people don't have curtsy to call / mail for your confirmation. I'm using Airtel & Reliance also but they are much better than you...

                      I'm using Vodafone since last one year, my mobile No. is [protected].

                      Yesterday I contact your customer care for an assistance to get rid from unwanted SMS. Mr. Umesh Sutar talked to me and he explains me how to deactivate FLASH massages. After deactivating FLASH, I wanted to see the status of Missed call alert, when I enter the Missed Call alert to know the status of its service, automatically SMS was sent for activation of Missed call alert, which I do not want to activate, I was just thinking about its status only. I immediately resend the SMS for CAN MCI to deactivate the Mssed call SMS alert on my mobile.
                      After doing all these I talked to customer care, where Mr. Gautam was there who had responded very rudely, when I asked him that I do not want this service, but Rs. 30/- has been deducted from my account, I just wanted to know whether it can be waived or not, to whom should I talked, he stared convincing me in a very wronged way by giving an example of Hotel, sir if you go to a Hotel and bring food, it doesn't matter whether you eat or not, you have to pay first. You tell me why should I go to Hotel and pay for food if I'm not hungry. Mr. Gautam had responded in a very wrong manner, he don't know how to give customer service. He was talking as Owner of Vodafone. You may go though the conversation had with me. Being a customer I can little angry because I'm panelized by the service which I do not want. I shall be very happy if you credit the amount to my account.

                      Once again I could not express my view toward Mr. Gautam, how he responded.

                      Ref: Refund Payment for Mobile No. [protected] & [protected] (Relationship No. 1.2263652)

                      In mid of July 2009 my [protected] & [protected] following mention mobile numbers had been activated but immediately after few days the connection was disconnected in regards to previous bill payment of one my mobile no [protected] for the amount of Rs 2,500.00 + interest = Rs 3,278.58 approximately.
                      Hence, to reactivate my mobile [protected] & [protected] I had made a payment of Rs 3,278.58 by cheque no. 118297 – Standard Chartered Bank against my claimed outstanding amount for Mobile numbers [protected] & [protected] and the mentioned amount debited from my amount on 21st July 2009.
                      But, after pulling out my previous bill payment records for I came to conclusion that I had paid the payment of Rs 2,500.00 against the mobile no. [protected] & [protected]; details as under mention

                      So, to claim for the refund of overdue payment I put a request on 11th April 2010 (Ref No.[protected] but I did not get any positive feedback from Vodafone.
                      So, again I called up to Vodafone Customer Care on 26th April 2010 (Ref No.[protected] but this time I did not get any proper response.
                      So, again I called up to Vodafone Customer Care on 29th April 2010 (Ref No.[protected] but this time too the result was same.
                      So, again I called up Vodafone Customer Care on 01st May 2010 (Ref No.[protected] and at least this time the executive was supportive and had given me an assurance that I will be getting the refund in approximately 45 working days from the date of complain / request, but this time also I was unhappy with the back office service so to know the status for the same again I contacted Vodafone Customer Care on 12th June 2010 (Ref No.[protected] and this time I was again given an assurance that the refund formalities at least requires 60 working days from the date complain or request.
                      On 28th June 2010 (Ref No.[protected] I again called up to Vodafone Customer Care and this I was very much surprise to hear that there is no update been reflecting for any refund amount / deposit and also I was suggested to contact nearest Vodafone gallery for this issue.
                      So, dear Vodafone can you give explanation and clarification on this issue?
                      And still if I don’t get my refund money in next 03 working days I will have to take some legal action of cheating.
                      Also this time I want the refund with interest of 18% p.a from the date of 01st Payment made. Because when Vodafone can charge an interest in delay of payment than why should I not apply the same and also it’s high time I have been following up regularly and Vodafone is been fooling me around every time.
                      Warm heartedly I also request you to stop fooling people by showing ad’s and claiming that Vodafone is one of the best service providers; if you can do that campaigning I will start doing it for your organization.

                      Sorry to inform as i also have bought the laptop bag same way as one of the brother did. Can any one help me why this cheap stuff come with a big price tag on it. I am not happy with what vodafone doing with its time old customers my no is [protected] you can go check & try to help me please.
                      The same goes in my case as well. I myself feel cheated by Vodafone.
                      I asked quite a few times times at vodafone customer service to provide me the details of the laptop bag or some picture I can see before I order. 'No picture is available' pat came the reply. They gave me 'M-SHOP' website address, where pictures are not posted for Giordano laptop bag. But as they claimed it is worth Rs 2999 in market, I ordered one because the offered price was only Rs 499.

                      To my despair, what I got was a cheap substandard bag, not worth even half the price I pad for it. The response given to me by customer service was "You may please call on Giordano helpline no.:[protected] and raise the concern". When called, I realised that this no. belongs to known fraud company named "Deals4all". When I checked the carton box in which this bag was delivered, deals4all was printed on it. I once ordered camera from these people for Rs 6000, what I got was some third-rated stone-age camera. It was then I followed up with this company but it was all in vain. I knew it was waste of time and effort if I talk to Deals4all services.

                      But then I want to lodge my distrust against Vodafone with whom I am a customer since 8 years. I dont know why Vodafone has collabrated with this cheat company and making mockery of their customers trust earned in years.

                      Seriously, I am ON for MNP. I have heard its going live on 17th JAN all India.
                      This is a major RIP OFF!!! Even I received a substandard bag. Infact, I came to know of people getting substandard bags before I got the delivery. So when their representative called me to confirm the address, I asked him to cancel the order. But he assured me that they would send me a genuine product.

                      But their assurance turned out to be false. I have lodged a complaint with them but reading your experiences I don't think I would be getting a favorable response from them.

                      Even I am a Vodafone customer for past 6-7 yrs but am now looking forward for MNP
                      same here... now i registered my number [protected] with the Vodafone delights whereby you can buy few products at a promotional price but all the lifestyle section products are out of stock... its simply giving false hope to customers...

                      even i m looking forward to mobile number portability...

                          1 and half year before I was using Vodafone number ([protected]). In Jan 2009 Vodafone charged me Rs. 200 extra for downloading some pictures by using mobile internet while I never downloaded any such pictures or something. When I enquired about this in customer care, they told me that as this is appearing in your bill means you have to pay that amount. I didn’t pay that extra amount that time and they disconnected my mobile connection. As they disconnected my service I didn't pay outstanding amount.
                          But now they are calling me and threatening me over the phone using abusive language and asking me to pay the bill.

                          Apart from this, same way they charged me Rs. 100 extra for my other mobile recently. I sent 3 mails to corpcare.[protected]@vodafone.com, but till date I have not received any single reply from them.

                          I have tried “Grahak Gago” but came to know that they don’t deal with such telecom complaints. Don’t know where to go and launch a complaint. Please somebody help me.

                              i am a vodaphone prepaid customer[protected] since 5 year. i have submit document in vodaphone care sec 19 chd.
                              nearly 5 times. one time for getting duplicate number. then 4 times to continue the service ... as requested by vodaphone customer care... even the person setting sec 19 vodaphone care know me well...mr manjinder singh( sardar). even after submitting document 4 times my no blocked by vodaphone.... when i went to vodaphone care sec 19 chd they said your no is blocked due to not submit ion of document and just provide nodal desk no [protected] and just feel sorry .
                              now when i call nodal desk.... they said 1st they will do back call... on my alternate no..... 2 times they said same thing, but when even after one month i did not get call.... i call again then they ask complaint no... which they never given....
                              now after 2 month they said its not possible to provide you this no we feel sorry.....
                              they said they send message before disconnecting my no but they do not send even a single message.....
                              now you think how they are helpping there customers and says "happy to help"

On 29 november 2010 i recieved a message from vodafone that my callertune has been activated and rs 30 has been charged for the same. regarding this i called on their customer care. Their executive told me that i called on the no*567# (which i didnt) on 11:30 pm on 29 nov 2010. but i recieved the msg on 11:28 pm 29 november 2010 and he told me that i copied the song at 4:00 am on 28 nov 2010. at that time i was sleeping. i dont know why the hell they have activated my caller tune without my permission and charged me. Their executives dont have manners how to talk to customers. and they are completely lying. when i ask him that i want to talk to any senior person he put my call on hold for 10 mins actully after 10 mins i disconnect the call coz nobody was answering. please help me and take some action

                                    I have lost my PUK and i entered the PUK given to me by the customer care people. I entered that PUK number and then entered and verified the PIN but it always says "code error" and im unable to use my number. My number is [protected]. i need to know what to do right now.

                                      I have been postpaid customer of Vodafone since Feb 2005 having same mobile no. [protected].

                                      The undersigned had been using VF Mobile connect since last few months. As evident from last 6 months billing that I had used this service only to connect my PC with internet through Nokia PC Suit and uses had never exceeded free download of 100 MB.

                                      For VF Mobile Connct uses for last billing cycle by bill dated[protected], I have been wrongly charged Rs. 1193 (Rs. 1082 plus Service Tax). Detail of VF Mobile Connct usess show frequent billing of 0.05p/10kb for continuously 10 days or so. I'm afraid that it might show connected even today, which I'll come to know after getting bill for next month.

                                      Hence I requested Vodafone to correct the bill by revesing frequent billing of 0.05p/10kb for continuously 10 days or so.

                                      After few days of my request for correction of bill, without going into detail, all so called Customer Care Executive started answering in same language and tone that there was considerable use of Vodafone mobile connect and the charges was alright. Not a single executive tried to enquire how a mobile phone can remain connected continuously for more than 10 days/night and even beyond as I have not yet got next bill.

                                      Through this website I again urge Vodafone to enquire into the matter and reverse charges against frequent billing of 0.05p/10kb for continuously 10 days or so.
