Dear Sir,

My name is KG Pankajakshan and holder of the mobile no [protected]. I don't know whether this letter may reach u or not because of the bureaucracy existing in ur organization. I have facing a perennial problem of not receiving bills in time. Every month I have to make calls to your customer care centre or make representations to your Vodafone store in Sector 12, Dwarka. Every time they say they will take care of it. My dear it is very very difficult to speak to a senior official in your prestigious organization there because it is blocked in between. I find the call centre useless as my problem is not resolved till date. After numerous calls they commit to send a duplicate copy and there by a waiting time of 7 working days. Pl note that I make the payment before time just by looking at the intimation in the mobile phone instead of proper bill.

Your couier Service BSA have a track record of either delivering late or not delivering to the customer. They show bills as delivered using false signature on their receipts. I have brought to the notice of the management the bills shown as delivered but not delivered to me (shown as delivered using false signature of the customer by the courier boy). I asked twice at different times for six months record of delivery details of my bills, it was found the courier putting false signature of the customer and showing as delivered. This is known to courier agency also and also to your management

On the month of June when I asked the supervisor of the local BSA Agency why there is delay on delivery of bills he said he told "Ihna hi hoga, hum be insan hai" and told me rubbish which I borught to the notice of you management but no action was taken.

This time my bill for August received and it turned out to be of July instead of August. Great. !!!!

My dear please note I am one of the oldest customer. It is not duty to write and complain to you every time. I am waisting my time for this. If you do not taking it seriouly and resolve it immediatly once for all I have no option but to change the service provider.

One request your help line 111 and 198 is very confusing. I could not get to a customer care executive to talk about the problem. It should be user friendly.

Request pl send me a hard copy instead of soft copy as I do not have access to computer

    My services are partially discontinued for no reason.I am not getting incoming call ID for last about a week. Is it effect of writing you a complaint?
    However I had submitted Photo ID & address proof on 29/08/10 , the same document which was given at the time of issuance of the connection ,but still my services are not restored
    I fail to understand necessity as the connection was issued me 3 years back after complying all formalities.while ur vodashop is not able to explain discrepancy. Ur persons are not only non- helping but having discourteous behavior has compelled me to write u. I request u to keep my services regular otherwise .i[censored] want to stop services than arrange to refund my initial payment deposited for the connection prior to depriving me to use the services .

      I have activated blackberry Internet service package of 3999 for six month
      plan in the month of feb2010, so it seem the services will get deactivated
      when its six month period is completed. but in the the month of July 2010
      the bb service should deactivate. instead of deactivating its still active
      and there is no information or massage from your end regrading the
      deactivation or activation of services as i have completed my six month
      plan. now when i see the bill you added blackberry rentals 1099 + tax with
      out any prior permission from me weather to continues the service after six
      month plan, well i have paid for six month its mean that i will using for
      six month. now the main issue is the after speaking to customer care dept
      still my service are on, and there no wavier of the rental for august bill
      and even this service will be shown on my next bill also coz its not
      deactivated yet so two month rental including tax for that.

      Vodafone / Blackberry — service issue

      I am using Blackberry curve 8310 for last two years and my service provider is Vodafone UP(E)
      Today suddenly my hand set stopped working and I reached Vodafone store in Lucknow, It was shocking to know that they don’t have anyone to help me and I was told that they will be sending my hand set to your Bangalore office for repair and I will get it back in next 25 days.
      I just want to learn form you that is this the only way out to get any Black berry handset repaired apart from this I came to know from Vodafone that your company does not provide any center in Lucknow to help BB customers.
      If this is correct then I must say that only Bangalore people should purchase Black berry because in such a fast moving time how can a Back berry company or vadafone expect that a user should give them 25 days for repair of a mobile it is ridiculous.

        I am a vodafone customer since last 2 years.I have activated callertune on my no. & from the day I have activated I am repenting. Everytime anyone calls he hears " To copy this callertune press * & then 9 & premium charge of RS 15/- ". Its such an irritating message which you have to hear everytime someone calls. Callertune being a premium service @ Rs30/- per month you have to listen such a message each time. By the time it starts ringing I answer the call. It was better if it rings instead of listening to this irritating message.

        I have given complaint regarding same thrice at customer care & I was assured that it wont be repeated but still its not resolved.Now I have no option other than discontinuing the callertune service & bear the unnecessary callertune fee for 3 months.I personally think that everyone must be having a problem with this start message & by default it should be deactivated. Its a premium chargeable service & no one wants to hear such an irritating message when a caller calls. I know this wont make any difference but still I would like to bring to notice.

        A person activating Caller Tunes does not pay for the annoying advt. a caller should listen to!

        Vodafone — Promo gifts not given

        HI

        I took a connection in an corporate offer. When the sim was activte, I received a confirmation call from helpdesk asking about the feedback and checking whether you had got the red folder, table calender and an vodafone pen. As, I had not got it, I conveyed the same. The helpdesk person confirmed that you will receive the gift on Monday i.e 25.6.08, I havent received the same.

        Nor anyone has contacted me.

        This complaint against the telecom company due to there lack of presence in there work.these company makes the customer fool with there words. few months before i have activated the donot disturb services but services is not started when ever i made remind against the complaint they cant help and also using bad behaviour. plz gave me suitable way so i can do something against these bad company.

        hi i am Amit Sharma I have called so many times but no solution i want portability to all my numbers [protected], [protected], [protected].because of call rates are very high without information they increase the call rates. I have spoken to ur customer service representative ( Name :- Imran ) he transfer my call to his superior i have waited 1 hour to speak to him but he had not pick the call even dont bothered about the customer service it's happened on reguler basis .previously i also tried they said our customer service executive will call.they have given me complaint no also complain no is [protected] .without spoken they closed my complain.i want resolution for that .really wat happ to vodafone previous it's gud now becoming phatetic. contact me amit [protected]

          Vodafone Connection — Junk calls

          I get a lot o[censored]nwanted soliciting calls for credit cards, loans, etc.etc. on my mobile phone No.[protected].
          Recently, I received SMS from Vodaphone asking me to register
          for a "call filter" at Rs. 99/- per month(plus taxes, of course).
          In the first place, my number(including my full name) was
          provided to the tele-marketeers by this company itself(formerly
          known as Hutch/Orange, etc.etc.)
          So how come they want to charge us for filtering calls which
          have been possible only with their help?

          Vodafone — unwanted phone calls

          I have a vodafone post paid connection. I have fully activated DND by which i should receive no unwanted phone calls, but inspite of that i receive phone calls from various banks, insurance companies etc during working hours. In spite of so many complaints to the company they are not taking any actions against these companies.

            Getting continuously calls from an unkonwn number in midnight, which is really disturbing me. The number is [protected]. Can you please hemp me out?
            If you are not expecting any other calls, switch off the mobile at night and have a good sleep.
            or call your mobile srvice provider and block that number or if your handset has an option of blocking the number, use it.

              My vodafone number is: [protected].
              I had completed all steps to activate Vodafone Mobile Connect Service on my Cellphone and also Vodafone has charged me amount for it.
              It should take maximum of 4 hours( as written on vodafone website www.vodafone.in) to active this service on my cell phone, because my this is pre paid SIM.
              So after this period of time, I had contacted to Vodafone Customer Care which is now not toll free.
              I had tried to get resolution of VMC activation issue on my mobile from Customer care yesterday, So i had made many calls. But everytime i have got different - different unmanaged answers from all customer executives and had said to put call on hold to check details.
              Again they had never continued the call because it on hold till when i disconnected my call from myself.
              Hold call does not mean 10 mins or more than it, as you know this call is paid also.

              Till now Vodafone Mobile Connect Services are not active on my phone and never got any resolution for it while balance is already has been deducted for it by vodafone.
              So either revert me that balance or activate this VMC service for my number immediately.

              VODAFONE ESSAR LIMITED — Cancellation of Sim Numbers

              I had requested to cancell 5 numbers of my family members & convert one number from post paid to Prepaid on 22.08.2008. Till date they have cancelled only one number and they are going on sending monthly bills. When contacted the vodafone store at Borivli, they intimated me to send me a mail to vodafonecare. I send mail twice to that number but nobody is ready to listen or even address my query. I have sent a mail to them that I will not be paying the rentals after 22.02.2008. Still there is no response. I think the punch line of Vodafone should be changed to Happy to Harrass instead of Happy to help

              vodafone essar Mobile Services Limited — Security Deposit has not returned even after 6 months have passed

              My post paid cell phone number [protected] had deactivated on 29 th June 2008 in Delhi. (Gurgaon). Now i have left Delhi permentely, but i have not recived the security deposit. Once I have personally gone to Vodafone store in JMD Tower in Gurgaon on 10th October and told all the facts to one of the representative Mr. Gyan. The complaint number is [protected]. But no action taken still date.

              Greetings!!!

              Sir, I, Drigesh Duggar, working with Integrated Hotels & Travels, Bhikhaji, Getting Harras by Vodafone Executive for Payment of Doisconnected no [protected].

              i have visted Vodafone Store on 05/03/09 at 11.am and paid payment at 12.22 pm for [protected]. and Given request for Closing of the above no.And paid rs.700 for closure settlement as asked by executive there in South extention.

              i have asked for refund of Security amount and he told me that you will be getting the amount through cheque at billing address.
              i have conveyed him that my home is now changed and need my cheque at B-122, Somdutt Chamber-1, Bhikhaji cama place, new delhi.

              But Till date i have not received my refund and i have received there bill of Rs.789 dated 06th april 09. against my close no. they are telling me that my no is not closed and you have to pay the amount and for closing you have to give complaint to vodafone.
              i have given them Complaint/Closure form no -SR[protected].
              But till date nothing has happen.

              I am getting unwanted calls regarding payment and i am disturb due to that.

              please guide me so that i can lodge legal action as they are not bother about any thing.

              a simple change of contract but keeping my same number as it is used for business has left me uncontactable, stressed and several hundred pounds out of pocket.
              I had a 5 year contract with 3 mobile prior to this and never had a problem. I recently went into my local phones for you shop and took out 2 contracts with vodaphone on 2 telephones.
              1 telephone was for my son on a monthy contract and 1 was for myself. My only stipulation was that I needed my origional phone number to be ported to my new contract.
              This however was not that simple for your company who spent 3 days muddling up sim cards and contracts, porting the wrong number to the wrong sim and then the wrong sim to the wrong contract etc..etc... wasting more of my time on the telephone.
              I was then offered £3 compensation to be credited to my account, this was almost the straw that broke the camels back, when I have lost over £600 in business!!!
              I have been with vodaphone for less than 1 week and am seriously considering returning to 3 mobile.

              Vodafone Essar Ltd. — Not Able get Service from Vodafone

              This Sachin, Bangalore. I am old user of Vodafone Service, one day I got a IVRS call from Vodafone to activate 299 plan, as per the details, I was activated plan and recharged the same plan, one month I use the service but second month I recharged for the same, they are saying that they cant able to give this service, I dont no, why the such big company is doing like this, atleast as per componsation they should give full talk time if they are not able provide the service, customer care people saying that the IVRS call was wrongly dailled to my no.

              vodafone essar Mobile Services Limited — Interruption in services due to fault of Vodafone

              Dear Mam/Sir,

              I am a customer of Vodafone from 14.10.2009. My Vodafone Relationship Number for my mobile number [protected] is 1.26692806 and credit limit is Rs.2500. I have taken a SMS pack of Rs. 199 which provides 20000 free Local and National SMSs. This pack is already activated on my number from 06.05.2010. I have got the advance rental amount for the duration 06.05.2010 to 05.06.2010 in my last bill whose due date is 24.05.2010. I also want to include that I have always paid the bills on time, before or on the due date.

              On 15.05.2010, I have got a SMS from the Vodafone regarding the reaching the credit limit for my number [protected]. When I talked to the customer complaint cell (198), they said that my unbilled amount has already crossed my credit limit due to my SMS usage and I have to pay some amount for my uninterrupted services. I have also talked to the nodal officer's office on Monday (17.05.2010) but they said there will be no interruption of any kind in your service as the bill will be calculated based on the call charges not on SMS usages charges. But today I have started getting the informational instruction with every outgoing call for payment and don't think my service will continue longer.

              Following are some of my queries as a customer for which I want the answers:
              1. I want to know, when I am using a SMS pack, which gives me 20000 free SMSs and whose advance rental is already present in my bill whose due date is yet to come, why I need to pay that amount?
              2. As the full utilization of Rs 199 SMS pack, the credit limit must be more than Rs. 30000. Then why Vodafone activated the same on my number when my credit limit was only Rs. 2500?
              3. Who will be responsible for any interruption that may come in my service due to fault of Vodafone?
              4. Why Vodafone has created such SMS pack for which customer will pay the rental and will never be able to use the same?
              5. As your customer representatives have no authority to resolve this type of problem, where and how a customer will get the service for which you have promised as a provider specially when its weekend?

              vodafone essar Mobile Services Limited — BILLING AGAINST CANCELLED CONNECTION

              Sir,
              I would like to inform you that I have already cancelled my both numbers ([protected] and [protected]) in July end. The SIM was destroyed in front of vodafone employee at Karol bagh branch near Metro Station. He insist for new SIM and better plan, but I have refused. By that time I have cleared all my dues. Later on I used to get calls regarding non payment of Rs.187 for connection no. [protected] which was duly paid out on 23rd Sept 2010 through cheque no. 017648 drawn on SCB. With the cheque again I request that I have already cancelled my connection and also clear my dues, so please do not disturb me going forward. Letter was attached with the cheque. But still I am getting calls and they are insisting to visit our nearest branch and ask for cancellation, as we don't consider any letter from the customer. As I said both connection was cancelled and SIM destroyed in July end, today again I got two bills of Rs.938.84 and 875.96 without using their services. (SIM [protected]- bill no. [protected]) and (SIM [protected]- bill no.[protected]). By this time I fed up and not able to handle them as they keep on calling and disturbing through out the day...

                Hello,

                Few months back I have moved from Karnataka to Gujarat and Thats why I requested vodafone to convert my PostPaid connection to Prepaid on 16th July 2010. I received a mail stating that process has been started and they will let me know once it is complete.

                After few days I received a call from Vodafone and she asked reasons. She started suggesting new plans in Vodafone postpaid, But when I was firm on my decision she said someone will contact me for the migration. Then again I did not receive any call for migration, after this I sent them few reminder mails for which I did not receive any response. when I sent a mail saying that I will complain against them then I received a call from Vodafone and Then same thing they suggested new plans but after sometime when I was firm on my decision Vodafone told me that they will migrate and Let me know.

                Now It has been more than 1.5 months for whole process and I have not received any update.

                I have taken a new Vodafone postpaid connection in Gujarat and I want my other connection to be migrated to prepaid. But Vodafone is not co-operating. I have been a Vodafone Postpaid customer for more than 3 Years and I never expected that Vodafone will not co-operate like this.

                Vodafone — Migrating postpaid connection to prepaid

                Hi,
                I have been using vodafone (it was hutch) post paid connection from past seven years. Now I asked vodafone customer care to switch my post paid connection to prepaid connection. They are refusing to do so. I have personally visited vodafone office and also sent an email asking for the same. I got same response saying 'currently this facility is not available' and they have some internal system problem.
                I do not understand why I should pay the post paid bills as they have some internal issues. I appreciate any help on this to get rid of vodafone post paid connection and get waiver on post paid bills from the date of request I made to convert prepaid connection. And also I am incurring lot of cost in following up on this issue. Is there a way to get this cost back? I am trying to find a good advocate to deal this. If possible please refer a good advocate. I totally frustrated with vodafone service.

                I Want to migrate my voda poatpaid ([protected]) to prepaid. simply i go to kanpur head branch & tell him, they give me complaint no.([protected]) dated 13/8/10. after 1&1/2 month there is no action taken regaurding me.                   I'm registered on the NDNC Directory, and I have not applied for any services to receive updates about properties and products with any individual/ company either.
                  However I am receiving unsolicited marketing messages and calls from various companies/individuals.
                  I Tried registering the complaint with the service provider i.e. Vodafone India via the 111 customer care services.
                  The person over the phone asked me to wait for a long time, even though he knew i was being charged. took all the details, and then asks me to contact the 198 services, which are not functional.
                  Now, when i call the company, they say that 198 services are active. and do not take the complaint.
                  I couldn't visit the vodafone store due to time constraints, but when we have the telephone services to our disposal, why do we need to visit their gallery.
                  Besides this, i even tried putting a mail to the company, to which i have still not got a revert.

                  This here is violation of NDNC and of customer support.

                  I am still receiving the UCC even after registering the number into NDNC registry.

                  I know the above issue is from NDNC organisation.

                  I want to complaint against the telemarketer as well as NDNC rorganisation. If they have any issues with thier database then the telemarketers should be intimated about the same.

                  The UCC received were from registered telemarketers.

                    Vodafone m-shop is an extremely poor service by Vodafone group.Bought watch thru it. Without asking for any other detail, they first asked to pay the amount using credit card. After paying the amount, it gave a message that 'Their partner will call within 24 hrs to take note of the Shipping address'. Why cant they say before taking the money that transaction will not be fully completed.
                    Even after 10 days when nobody called, i had to connect to call their partner on my own. They had a silly excuse that file upload between Vodafone and them takes time for them to know the details and hence it is not their fault to have not called so far.
                    Waiting for delivery of the watch to happen now.

                    Vodafone Mshop — Fraudulent Service

                    Around 10 days before i have tried to recharge my prepaid account by using Vodafone Mshop.
                    I had given all my credit card details by following the voice instruction, i got payment successful message with transaction number but i dint get my mobile recharged..
                    I had called up the customer care, these people they picked up the phone...asked all the details...
                    and just one reply "ok sir i will call u after half an hour" i tried calling them upto 3 days but i dint get any solution... everybody i spoke with all are same answer.. i will call u back, i will report the complaint into MSHOP dept. etc etc...

                    I recharged through MSHOP bcoz i had to make an urgent call but i couldn't.

                    So be careful about Vodafone MSHOP.

                      I am really very unhappy with the service of vodafone.
                      In a week vodafone deduct 70rs from my account by activating different-2 service.
                      one day i was informed that in your phone MCIis activated and deduct 10 rs for it.
                      next day i was informed that astro service is activated and 30 rs is deducted. and the next day after 30 rs deducted for music service.
                      Inspide of Do not disturb service activated.
                      so really this is not acceptable.
                      I am plaaning to send the copy of mail to consumer forum.
                      and when we tried to call customer care no one pick phone in 4-6 min.

                        I have a vodafone connection of no. "[protected]" since May 2010. I have registered for DND services in May itself. But even then I am receiving adds via messages & phone calls related to stock market, flats and insurance etc.
                        The other problem I am facing is that the no. "[protected]" i am using is earlier registered with some other customer "SHAMIM MOHAMMAD".I am receiving phone calls related to him regularly from ICICI life insurance, Airtel particularly and others also.
                        I have already complained to Vodafone but I am still facing the problem.

                          Reliance Communication — service use nahi ki phir bhi paise ke liye.

I have not activated any value added services i.e. Mitti ke rang but in my mobile account every month the reliance communication has charge the amount from my account. I have file a companint against this but threre is no any soluation.

                          Reliance comm. is a fraud company who charges fraudently from people's account. they activated services on their own behalf and chanrged the expences from people.

                          Mene 6th april ko naya vodafone card liya. 7th April ko GPRS activate karke 99 ka recharge mara. 7th april se vodafone gallery ja rahun abhi tak mujhe GPRS access nahi mila hai. wo keh rahe hai GPRS department se problem hai hum kuch nahi kar sakte.humne mail kiya hai. Par aajj tarik 13 mene kaha activate nahi ho raha toh mujhe refund de do woh bhi nahi de rahe.
                          abhi tak mene LOOP MOBILE, AIRTEL, DOCOMO network use kiya hai. aur uske problem ke liye unke gallery bhi gaya hun. waha customer ko respect dete hai. par VODAFONE gallery me Executive khud customer ko ulata jawab dete hai. Sion gallery do baar gaya dono din waha Zagada ho raha tha me waha maujud tha par galti executive ki thi. Prabhdevi me bhi aisa hi hai. rudely baat karte hai. problem agar 2-3 din me solve nahi hua toh customer chillyenge hi par woh group banake customer ke upar chillate hai. kal mene khud Aurat ke upar chillate hue dekha woh Farhan executive tha. I THINK EXECUTIVE SHOULD BE POLITE! par vodafone ke har ek gallery me zagda hota hai bcz of rudeness.
                          i had requested for the Mobile portability (From Airtel to Vodafone) and submitted all the require documents on 24/05/2011.

                          i was told that, it will be converted withing seven days.till date i am using the same service provider (Airtel).
                          when i went to Rapm Communication near Medical Square area then they ask me to again submit new portability Number.

                          even staff is not courtious to say sorry for the inconvenience caused and returned documents when i asked them to return the same.

                          i know if i dont go for the services of Vodafone company will not get any problem since its a well known brand now.

                          Vodafone is running with a new fraud recharge on their website.
                          It is with an SMS rechage of 35 Rs in Karnataka region.
                          As per recharge customer shud get 150 SMS for 28 days. But that actually is not true. My money is still deducted for every sms.
                          upon calling cust care, they said we dnt hv such offer and my calling rates are now changed to 1.2 paisa per sec. What a bull .

                            On 27th august 2010, I lost my phone([protected]).Fearing 'misuse' of my number for any antisocial activity, when I called at 111 customer care service to block my SIM card (ph. no. [protected]) there was no one to take up the call. Even once a customer care serviceman lifted the phone and then cut the line after I was being redirected by vodafone computer answering machine(this call was made from [protected]).
                            I have experienced the worst customer care service and I would recommend all to never take vodafone because of its imcompetent and non promising service.even after 24 hrs of losing my SIM I am still calling repeatedly to customer care to suspend my SIM card number.

                              I called your customer service (111) number between 0145pm and 0230pm today (August 28, 2010). What I faced was the most ridicules customer service. It’s surprising that you have started charging for the “Customer Service” calls. The service provided is however, not satisfactory. The reason I called today was because I was facing some problem with my new handset. The first time I called, I spoke to Gaurav. Because I was speaking from my wife’s phone, he made all the verification (took long time) and then decided it was a network problem and tried transferring to “Network Department”. For some reasons the line got disconnected. I dialed again and got Rahul Kumar on the phone. As this was not a free call, I quickly explained to him the reason for my call, and asked him to transfer the call to “Network Department”. But he refused and insisted to do all the verification once again. He was not ready to listen that the verification was already done, I asked for his supervisor. He was adamant and refused saying without verification he will not transfer the call. Then while I was kept on hold for long time, he spoke to “Network Department” and told me that network in my area is fine and there is nothing he could do. As it was clear that he did not understand my issue I asked for the supervisor again. Finally, again after a long hold, I was transferred to the supervisor. I spoke to Ajay Kukareja. After a long conversation with him I was told to visit a phone dealer who would be able to rectify my issue. Though I spoke to the “Customer Service” for total of 45minutes for which I was charged, my issue was not resolved.

                                Vodafone — Poor Network

                                I live in Mind Space area in MALAD [W] Mumbai which is one of the posh and most happening place in the city. But unfortunately, my cell phone service provider VODAFON doesn't provide me with proper network. I have repeatedly lodged my complaints but I get same formatted answers each time as taught to the call center staff. As a result, I can't make calls properly and there are always call drops. The call gets disconnected in the middle of the conversation and I find there is no network coverage. I checked with few of my friends residing in various other locality and found they are also having the same problem with their VODAFON number. One of my friends lives in Thakur Complex, Kandivali [E] which is again a posh area in the city but he also face the same network problem. However, in the same area other networks work properly. So, after facing this problem for last 3 years now I can proclaim "VODAFON IS THE WORST SERVICE PROVIDER IN MUMBAI CITY WHEN WE TALK ABOUT ITS NETWORK."

                                I have been complaining A LOT about your network in my residential area which is well within a big metropolitan like Bangalore i.e Koramangala. Till date i have got innumerable assurances from your side and many have come to my place to check the network and gone back agreeing with my complaint. So much so i was also given a waiver on my minimal monthly charges for this. I make a lot of ISD calls and it gets cut off in the 3rd or 4th second thus charging me for a whole minute which frustrates me. I dont know if this complaint will work because i am demoralized already. I do not understand why in a full fledged city do we have problems from one of the extensively used mobile service.

                                Vodafone network — Inhuman behavior by Vodafone

                                Hi

                                I rang the Customer care for a concern I am facing from the last 48+hours that I am unable to make or receive any call from the billing address(my residential address). A compliant was registered & was informed that this would be taken care of in a matter of hours – which was a justified answer to me.

                                After a while, I received a text message stating the following – “Hello! Your service registration number is [protected]. We shall respond to your query by Monday 26-Apr-10 11.21am.”

                                The following message was contradictory from what was verbally communicated to me. At this point, I was furious & called the Customer care, spoke to a guy who could barely understand English – which added to my frustration. That executive could have always told me to speak any local language if he had trouble understanding me --- which he did not. So, with no option, disconnected the call as I had reached the boiling point.

                                Called again, with hopes that I could speak to a manager. The 2nd executive told that there could be nothing that could happen & I can disconnect my mobile connection if I am not happy with the service. BY FAR, the worst sentences I could hear from a Customer Care executive.

                                After a lot of arguments & long hold time, got through to a Supervisor, who doesn’t have basic phone manners to introduce himself OR thank me for being on hold. (What a pathetic supervisor is what I felt). In a couple of minutes, I realized that he is worse than a executive as he could not understand simple question I had – “WHAT’S THE TOTAL DUE, SO I CAN GO TO THE VODAFONE STORE TO PAY & CANCEL MY CONNECTION”

                                I had lost my patience, but held on to my nerves & explained that this network problem is causing a lot of disruption to me by telling – My mom has got back from the hospital & there is no one to take care of her at home. She is unable to call me if she has any problems & she is resorting to going to a PCO to call me up. Is this the service I signed up for with Vodafone?

                                He said something that I have never heard in my entire career in Service Industry – “This is not my personal problem & I won’t do anything about it”

                                If a company cannot provide services for the money I pay, I am entitled a explanation -- which they cannot.

                                The coverage of vodafone network on 18th B main, 100 feet road, indiranagar bangalore is horrible..there is no even a single bar seen on the phone...this is very strange since this problem persists only it that plot where I live.                                       i m very old customer of above said co. and submitting ID proof with photograph so many times now they wants ID proofs & photographs. When i go at vodaphone shoppe situated at V Mart Complex , Nakodar Road, Jalandhar To submit my proofs they misbehave with me because i have two copies of photocopy of my voter ID card with two photographs and those copies are not on full paper sheet but two copies on one sheet. When i told them to show the rule that you people have not accepted my proof they misbehaved & told we have not given anything in written to you go and complaint.

                                        Dear Sir,
                                        I am serving as a doctor in the Indian Navy since the last 28 years and presently posted as Senior Advisor in Paediatric & Liver Transplant Anaesthesia at Army Hospital ( Research & Referral), Delhi Cantt, New Delhi.
                                        My daughter, Janine Chatterjee, who is 17 years old ( and a minor) has joined NIFT, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai as a student in BF Tech (Apparel Production) course since last month and is staying at the hostel accommodation there.
                                        On 23rd July 2010, I had applied for a Vodafone SIM card at Kharghar for mobile phone services for my daughter’s use , Mobile no.- [protected] on submitting a self attested photocopy of my PAN card as proof and, having no local residence at Kharghar/Mumbai ( since I am posted at New Delhi) , I gave the attested photocopy of the electricity bill of my cousin, Mr Gautam Chowdhury who stays at Kharghar.
                                        The mobile connection services were terminated by the provider after 2 weeks.
                                        Since we had come back to New Delhi after settling her, my daughter applied for a new SIM card at Kharghar’s Vodafone showroom on 15th August 2010 submitting photocopies of her college identity card from NIFT and a bonafide certificate duly stamped provided by NIFT and her photograph. Mobile no. – [protected]. This connection was again terminated after 3 days.
                                        She reapplied for a new SIM card at Vodafone shop in Sector -4 , Kharghar submitting photocopies of her college identity card from NIFT and a bonafide certificate duly stamped provided by NIFT and her photograph again on 25th August 2010. Mobile no. – [protected]. This connection has been terminated since this morning.
                                        On each occasion, the Vodafone mobile connection outlet had reassured that this time the services would be continuous and would not be terminated.
                                        This has been repeatedly causing extreme and undue distress and an intense feeling of insecurity to a minor child who is staying alone away from home in a new city and unfamiliar environment for the first time.
                                        I would like to appeal for due redressal of this case and that justice may please be granted to helpless and innocent citizens who are made scapegoats by callous, indifferent and apathetic attitude of M/s Vodafone Ltd.
                                        I would like to ask M/s Vodafone Ltd. as to how a minor child can be expected to possess a voter card / driving license / PAN card .
                                        M/s Vodafone Ltd. should explain this uncalled for attitude, apologise for their uncalled for behaviour and take immediate steps to rectify/ redeem expenditure incurred in purchase of multiple SIM Cards, restore the mobile connectivity as promised by their outlets and take steps so that innocent citizens are not harassed in the name of stringent security measures.
