On 27th august 2010, I lost my phone([protected]).Fearing 'misuse' of my number for any antisocial activity, when I called at 111 customer care service to block my SIM card (ph. no. [protected]) there was no one to take up the call. Even once a customer care serviceman lifted the phone and then cut the line after I was being redirected by vodafone computer answering machine(this call was made from [protected]).
I have experienced the worst customer care service and I would recommend all to never take vodafone because of its imcompetent and non promising service.even after 24 hrs of losing my SIM I am still calling repeatedly to customer care to suspend my SIM card number.

    I called your customer service (111) number between 0145pm and 0230pm today (August 28, 2010). What I faced was the most ridicules customer service. It’s surprising that you have started charging for the “Customer Service” calls. The service provided is however, not satisfactory. The reason I called today was because I was facing some problem with my new handset. The first time I called, I spoke to Gaurav. Because I was speaking from my wife’s phone, he made all the verification (took long time) and then decided it was a network problem and tried transferring to “Network Department”. For some reasons the line got disconnected. I dialed again and got Rahul Kumar on the phone. As this was not a free call, I quickly explained to him the reason for my call, and asked him to transfer the call to “Network Department”. But he refused and insisted to do all the verification once again. He was not ready to listen that the verification was already done, I asked for his supervisor. He was adamant and refused saying without verification he will not transfer the call. Then while I was kept on hold for long time, he spoke to “Network Department” and told me that network in my area is fine and there is nothing he could do. As it was clear that he did not understand my issue I asked for the supervisor again. Finally, again after a long hold, I was transferred to the supervisor. I spoke to Ajay Kukareja. After a long conversation with him I was told to visit a phone dealer who would be able to rectify my issue. Though I spoke to the “Customer Service” for total of 45minutes for which I was charged, my issue was not resolved.

      Vodafone — Poor Network

      I live in Mind Space area in MALAD [W] Mumbai which is one of the posh and most happening place in the city. But unfortunately, my cell phone service provider VODAFON doesn't provide me with proper network. I have repeatedly lodged my complaints but I get same formatted answers each time as taught to the call center staff. As a result, I can't make calls properly and there are always call drops. The call gets disconnected in the middle of the conversation and I find there is no network coverage. I checked with few of my friends residing in various other locality and found they are also having the same problem with their VODAFON number. One of my friends lives in Thakur Complex, Kandivali [E] which is again a posh area in the city but he also face the same network problem. However, in the same area other networks work properly. So, after facing this problem for last 3 years now I can proclaim "VODAFON IS THE WORST SERVICE PROVIDER IN MUMBAI CITY WHEN WE TALK ABOUT ITS NETWORK."

      Sir/Madam,
      I have been complaining A LOT about your network in my residential area which is well within a big metropolitan like Bangalore i.e Koramangala. Till date i have got innumerable assurances from your side and many have come to my place to check the network and gone back agreeing with my complaint. So much so i was also given a waiver on my minimal monthly charges for this. I make a lot of ISD calls and it gets cut off in the 3rd or 4th second thus charging me for a whole minute which frustrates me. I dont know if this complaint will work because i am demoralized already. I do not understand why in a full fledged city do we have problems from one of the extensively used mobile service.

      Vodafone network — Inhuman behavior by Vodafone

      Hi

      I rang the Customer care for a concern I am facing from the last 48+hours that I am unable to make or receive any call from the billing address(my residential address). A compliant was registered & was informed that this would be taken care of in a matter of hours – which was a justified answer to me.

      After a while, I received a text message stating the following – “Hello! Your service registration number is [protected]. We shall respond to your query by Monday 26-Apr-10 11.21am.”

      The following message was contradictory from what was verbally communicated to me. At this point, I was furious & called the Customer care, spoke to a guy who could barely understand English – which added to my frustration. That executive could have always told me to speak any local language if he had trouble understanding me --- which he did not. So, with no option, disconnected the call as I had reached the boiling point.

      Called again, with hopes that I could speak to a manager. The 2nd executive told that there could be nothing that could happen & I can disconnect my mobile connection if I am not happy with the service. BY FAR, the worst sentences I could hear from a Customer Care executive.

      After a lot of arguments & long hold time, got through to a Supervisor, who doesn’t have basic phone manners to introduce himself OR thank me for being on hold. (What a pathetic supervisor is what I felt). In a couple of minutes, I realized that he is worse than a executive as he could not understand simple question I had – “WHAT’S THE TOTAL DUE, SO I CAN GO TO THE VODAFONE STORE TO PAY & CANCEL MY CONNECTION”

      I had lost my patience, but held on to my nerves & explained that this network problem is causing a lot of disruption to me by telling – My mom has got back from the hospital & there is no one to take care of her at home. She is unable to call me if she has any problems & she is resorting to going to a PCO to call me up. Is this the service I signed up for with Vodafone?

      He said something that I have never heard in my entire career in Service Industry – “This is not my personal problem & I won’t do anything about it”

      If a company cannot provide services for the money I pay, I am entitled a explanation -- which they cannot.

      The coverage of vodafone network on 18th B main, 100 feet road, indiranagar bangalore is horrible..there is no even a single bar seen on the phone...this is very strange since this problem persists only it that plot where I live. Can someone please look into this matter since the phone goes dead as soon as i step in the above mentioned are i.e 18th B main.

      Vodafone — poor net work

          I have purchased a Data Card by paying Rs7976 (Data Card No:[protected])for one year subscription on[protected],while getting the data card i was promissed a Data Transfer Speed of 256Kbps but i am not getting the promissed speed its just 80kbps regarding the speed i have conformed with vodafone customer care that i will get a speed of 220Kbps in chennai city.I request to refund my money and get back the Data Card.

            i m very old customer of above said co. and submitting ID proof with photograph so many times now they wants ID proofs & photographs. When i go at vodaphone shoppe situated at V Mart Complex , Nakodar Road, Jalandhar To submit my proofs they misbehave with me because i have two copies of photocopy of my voter ID card with two photographs and those copies are not on full paper sheet but two copies on one sheet. When i told them to show the rule that you people have not accepted my proof they misbehaved & told we have not given anything in written to you go and complaint.

              Dear Sir,
              I am serving as a doctor in the Indian Navy since the last 28 years and presently posted as Senior Advisor in Paediatric & Liver Transplant Anaesthesia at Army Hospital ( Research & Referral), Delhi Cantt, New Delhi.
              My daughter, Janine Chatterjee, who is 17 years old ( and a minor) has joined NIFT, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai as a student in BF Tech (Apparel Production) course since last month and is staying at the hostel accommodation there.
              On 23rd July 2010, I had applied for a Vodafone SIM card at Kharghar for mobile phone services for my daughter’s use , Mobile no.- [protected] on submitting a self attested photocopy of my PAN card as proof and, having no local residence at Kharghar/Mumbai ( since I am posted at New Delhi) , I gave the attested photocopy of the electricity bill of my cousin, Mr Gautam Chowdhury who stays at Kharghar.
              The mobile connection services were terminated by the provider after 2 weeks.
              Since we had come back to New Delhi after settling her, my daughter applied for a new SIM card at Kharghar’s Vodafone showroom on 15th August 2010 submitting photocopies of her college identity card from NIFT and a bonafide certificate duly stamped provided by NIFT and her photograph. Mobile no. – [protected]. This connection was again terminated after 3 days.
              She reapplied for a new SIM card at Vodafone shop in Sector -4 , Kharghar submitting photocopies of her college identity card from NIFT and a bonafide certificate duly stamped provided by NIFT and her photograph again on 25th August 2010. Mobile no. – [protected]. This connection has been terminated since this morning.
              On each occasion, the Vodafone mobile connection outlet had reassured that this time the services would be continuous and would not be terminated.
              This has been repeatedly causing extreme and undue distress and an intense feeling of insecurity to a minor child who is staying alone away from home in a new city and unfamiliar environment for the first time.
              I would like to appeal for due redressal of this case and that justice may please be granted to helpless and innocent citizens who are made scapegoats by callous, indifferent and apathetic attitude of M/s Vodafone Ltd.
              I would like to ask M/s Vodafone Ltd. as to how a minor child can be expected to possess a voter card / driving license / PAN card .
              M/s Vodafone Ltd. should explain this uncalled for attitude, apologise for their uncalled for behaviour and take immediate steps to rectify/ redeem expenditure incurred in purchase of multiple SIM Cards, restore the mobile connectivity as promised by their outlets and take steps so that innocent citizens are not harassed in the name of stringent security measures.

                I am unable to speak to customer care on 198 ( Vodafone Complaint No). Also on Vodafone Customer care 111.

                Whenever I dial 198, I hera " Welcome to vodafone, We are happy to help you........ " then asks for some option , then " Sorry, we are unable to process your request now"

                Even I registered a complaint via mail but no response ven after 2 days.

                  Im enjoying the benefit of 450 local vodafone minutes free from 11 pm to 8 am every month after recharge of Rs.22/- since from a year. But on 15 August 2010 & 25 August 2010 when i given a call to my regular free vodafone no after 11 pm the charges was deducted from my normal current balance amounting Rs. 14.20 & 21.20.
                  Im following continously on telecom ([protected] & 198) with the department from 16 August 2010 to 25 August 2010 but not got proper respond.
                  So i personally visited to vodafone gallery near vashi rly station navi mumbai and Mr.Abdul attended me and registered my complaint and ask me to wait till 48 hrs after which i will receive sms regarding the query and if the amount wrongly deducted will be revert to me.

                    Hi there,

                    I Ravi raj hingwe ([protected]) using this vodafone prepaid connection almost 1 month. I have submitted all the necessary documents at the time of purchase sim also 3 times to vodafone store ghatkopar(w) mumbai.

                    Just wanted to know why Vodafone guys are disconnecting my number without any notification also when i called up the customer care they said your address is missmatch(mismatch with what?). Last 2 times i had visited to vodafone store ghatkopar your customer executive said you signature is not matching, (discrepency in their words) ..then I have submitted my documents again. They verified all the documents and they assured me that your service will be start in next 2 hours and it started.
                    Vodafone executive attaching my photo in another person's form, by seeing the signature of another person I pointed that. Vodafone executive said sorry for this ...(No security of documents)
                    Now again after 10 days they have disconnected my number without any notification. I have submitted documents 4 times by visiting the vodafone store also.
                    Alos I have recharged this number. At present i have 150 rupees in my account.
                    Instead of resolving my issue, they are telling me to switch to Post Paid.
                    I suffered alot from this Vodafone prepaid service.
                    FYI..I have seen many of customer having this issue of signature and address mismatch..Whenever i visited the vodafone store all the customer are having the same type of issue and they said that switch to post paid..For post paid vodafone doesnt require verification?

                    Having vodafone pre paid connection is more difficult than to have the Passport/Gas/Rashan card/etc....

                    Please do the needful....

                      Vodafone has sent the following SMS to subscribers:
                      "Do you know that your phone has an expiry date. Check it out. Go to the main screen and dial *567*30# and press call button."
                      After we dial this number a caller tune gets activated on the phone & a charge of Rs 15/- has to be paid by the subscriber along with a monthly rental Rs 30/-.
                      The company is misleading the consumers to make money which is totally unfair. They are creating eagerness in the minds of the consumers, thus making money in the process. The poor & innocent consumers fall prey to such things & this leads to a loss of their hard earned money.
                      This is not the only instance, i also have a pending payment of deposit rental which has not been paid by Vodafone since two years!!

                      Vodafone — Misleading and Forcing for unjustified things

                      To whom it may concern



                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                      I am the user of Vodafone Mobile connection.

                      A very strange and unexpecditable experience gained from VODAFONE. Hereby I am shareing the same

                      Dated: 11th Feb 2012.

                      I went to one of the Vodafone Store( Near at Minto Park) on last saturday Dated: 11/02/2012 to please convert my number from Post Paid to Pre Paid. My token number was 77 and the Executive with whom I talked his name is Mr. Ravindra and he took the request and provided me a SR No: [protected] and said that within 48 hrs a call will come from Help Desk and accrodingly it will be processed to Prepaid where the number will be out of Service for approx 4 hrs. For reference please find the attached Token Slip.


                      Dated: 13th Feb 2012.

                      A call received from Helpdesk around 6.10 PM in the evening to know the reason for which I wanna to convert my number from Post Paid to Prepaid. Described the vaild reason for the same and accordingly the Executive suggested me to visit that very Vodafone Store by 16th of Feb 2012.

                      Dated: 16th Feb 2012

                      Today I went again to the same Vodafone Store at 2.30 PM and I have been given a Token no of 46 For reference please find the attached Token Slip.
                      When my turn came I went to the counter and met a new Executive name Mr. Sampad. He took the said SR No [protected]. After seeing the same over system he got slight confused and called his collegue Mr. Ravindra because as he attended me last time. They both have given me a STATEMENT- We are extremly sorry Sir we wont able to upgrade the same for next 7 days as some policies got changed and some upgradation work is going on. I asked them could you please define me what Policies got change for which you people are unable to convert the same. Answer received: Sorry Sir we wont able to define the same as its CONFIDENTIAL. I understood that they are just trying to make me stop some how for the convertion of number from Post Paid to Pre Paid. I requested them can I talk with the Store Supervisior or Store Manager for the same. After repeted request and argument a person came by giving the Introduction that he is the Store Manager name- Mr. Krishanu. ( I am quite confident that he is not the Store Manager).
                      This guy started speaking himself without knowing and understanding my query that we wont able to convert the same right now as some of the policies got changed and few of the upgradation work is going on and it will take more 7 days and specially in a very agreesive way. I have requested that guy not be so agressive and first listen my query. Again after the repeted request he said pl say. Then I kept my query which is mentioned below:

                      If there is some changes or upgradation work is going on in Vodafone for next 7 days then who is going to bear the Rental Charges ??

                      As I have asked from Help Desk to visit the Vodafone Store by 16th Feb for the conversion of number from Post Paid to Prepaid because 15th is my billing cycle and if I go and make the convertion by 16th by paying all the Outstanding amount it will be converted in to Pre Paid.



                      As per the Vodafone Store Executives I need to pay or else if I dont want to pay either I need to keep my number in SWITCHED OFF mode or they can help me by DISCONNECTING THE NUMBER until the upgradation work gets complete........



                      May I know did I availed the Vodafone Subscription for keeping my number OFF or to keep in a Disconnect Mode????????

                      Is it a Customers problem or fault where he needs to pay the unjustified amount ??

                      Is it a customers problem or fault to wait for more 7 days if any upogradation work is going on??

                      Why there is such sort of ROUGH BEHAVIOUR at your Store??

                      There is a very simple and the easiest process to convert Prepaid to Post Paid but why there is so much Lenghty and misguided policies or process to convert the Post Paid number to Pre Paid??

                      How can the Executives can say that I will have to pay the rental Amount for 7 days or more till the problem gets resolved or how can they say not to use the number for 7 days or how can they DARE to say that they will disconnect my number for 7 days or above till the problem gets rectifies???????????

                      TO PROVIDE THE BEST SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS THRU OVER PRODUCTS AND SERVICES AND COMPANY POLICIES.....

                      NOT TO MISGUIDE CUSTOMERS / NOT TO FORCE CUSTOMER TO PAY UNJUSTIFIED AMOUNT/NEITHER TO BEHAVE IN A ROUGH WAY.....

                        I had Subscriber for vodafone 2GB Gprs pack(95 rupees) on 22nd august and after sometime got a message saying your plan has been activated so i stated using internet and in the morning found that my balance has gone from around 180 to -30.so i called customer care they told me that my plan hasnt been activated and my balance will be restored.So i waited patiently for 2 days.finally my balance changed to -2.00.So i again called customer care now they told me that the plan will take 24 to be active and only the usage after that 24 hours will be restored.They never informed me regarding this 24 hour activation period.and also my friends have been using the same plan and for them there was no 24 hour activation period.Cant beleive how pathetic this is and that too when their Gprs is quite slow compared to others.

                          I work for TCS e-serve Ltd which is in Goregoan. Their are vodafone associates standing out in our office premises selling out vodafone tcs special plans meant only for TCS employees guess you got an tie up with TCS. I got 2 vodafone numbers registered under Sarita Gaikwad's name [protected] and[protected] both the number are enrolled for Group vodafone plan for almost 15 months. I wanted to change my plan from group plan to TCS corporate plan (CUG-FREE for TCS eserve employee as per the pamphlet distributed) whose rental is for Rs. 150 per month, your vodafone associate guided me to visit gallery as only there my request could be accepted. In the month of May i visisted Vodafone gallery which is in Ghatkopar west opposite to shreyas cinema. I told customer care executive about my request for change of plan (executive name preeti) she told me to submit all the necessary document needed for this plan change. On the next visit i submitted all the documents being told by your executive. I submitted copies of 2 months salary slip, my company offer letter, my driving license with the filled vodafone change my plan form all the copies were attested by me and also paid the unbilled amount (RS. 350 for [protected] and Rs. 120 for [protected]) than your executive told that for the plan transfer i got to change the number on your name and for that I would require the persons document on whom these numbers are registered I said when I visited at that time I was not at all informed about this if you could have told me earlier than I would have brought them with me she said sorry Sir for the inconvenience but I need them or else it cannot be done as I got to transfer it urgently I again visited with the all the necessary document being told by your executive attested by sarita(number was registered in her name) i gave her driving license and again a vodafone change form. Couple of days I got an message from vodafone stating we have received your request and transfer would be done as soon as possible. I thought if I have received this sort of confirmation than it would be done so for the month of May and June i din bothered as I was under impression that it has been done properly. By fluke regarding some enquiry I called up customer care that time i came to know that my numbers are into same plan and change has not been done so on 27 July almost after 2 months i visited same vodafone gallery their I told your executive named amar about this and was shocked by the answer given by the executive my case is been handled by preeti as she took the request so she only can help and assist you in this case and that girl was on leave for that day isn't this stupidity this is how customers are been treated and when on shouting for an hour over their he assured me that sir i will personally ask preeti that when she comes next day for work first thing is to sort out your case I ask how i will come to know this so this bugger said sir you will get an SMS and also call from her, I said if i dint than he was like we are here to help you and not to harass you mark my words you will get an 100% definate confirmation call from our side. This is how genuine customer get paid for I mean is this an acceptable solution. I asked him what was the reason for so much delay answer was she dint entered the account number because of which our system is not accepting. I was like what the [censored] whose fault is this now. I asked the what account number so he was like sir its some technical code that needs to be key in and that she only knows. I felt like hitting him because of your people negligence why we got to suffer after having arguments he said sir don’t worry you will reimbursed the amount after calculation and would be adjusted once again helpless I left from their with an feeling that it would be done next day. 2 weeks passed no sms no call nothing was received from your end being pissed off this I visited that store again on 21st august to know where my case has reached and was sent back as system were down and they cannot answer any of my queries. So again on Tuesday i.e. on 23rd august I again visited with an hope of getting an solution but this time Vodafone crossed the limits I got an answer that sir I cannot help you with the earlier request why because the girl who took your request is been transferred to another department and what I would like to suggest you is that you submit all those documents again or take an new connection. Just imagine what sort of pain and torcher we customers are getting. I asked what about the unbilled amount that I paid for the month of May as I had paid the unbilled amount as well as the whole month bill which was not adjusted nor the unbilled amount was deducted, answer was sorry sir I cannot help you in this and started giving excuses which were just difficult to digest. Sir if you could have come to me I would have done this properly, why you came so late you should have kept a track of your request, I said how to keep track you people never give any kind of acknowledgement any proof so that we could present before you he was than just short of words. Later on he called up to some senior person and that senior person directly without any concern or courtesy answered Sir only thing that can be done is that you got to submit again those documents I asked what about my documents submitted earlier she said no idea.

                          No idea damn it those where legal documents being attested by me any body could misuse them. She also said their has an sms sent from our side stating that your request is been rejected, I said no I dint received any than she was like that’s impossible our system is error free and systematic now what should I say. I asked can you please transfer it to some prepaid plan she than rudely answered no again for that also we would require documents so easily she made me feel that it was all my fault. My fault that I dint followed up my request, my fault that I dint took any acknowledgement, my fault that I dint received the sms, my fault that I dint provided the account number.

                          What to do where to go whom to complaint as coz of work we don’t get time to deal or to look into this kind of matter. As I was getting late for work and after spending again an hour over their I had to leave empty handed from there.

                          This is an serious and am being totally harassed. Now am not concerned about my number nor about my money as for the second time I am being disturbed by you guys first time also when i took new connection for post paid your people misplaced my documents and were forced me to submit all the documents again that time i dint took any step and ignored but this time I look into that i seriously follow up my complaint and would get sort of satisfaction out of it.

                          This email's copy would also be sent to consumer court and also to one of the media so that everybody may know how vodafone screws customers, customers who purchased and used their services for almost more than 5 years.

                            I have actived Rs.52 free sms recharge last month on vodafone it was to over on 22nd aug so to continue the offer i have recharged with Rs.52 on 22nd but even after 2 days the offer has not been activated and i tried to contact To customer care but i am unable to contact them from 2 days. So i want to lodge a complaint against it.

                              Harashment by Vodfone Staff - Mr Surinder, Mr. Naresh- Main office-mall Road Ludhiana Punjab.

                              Mr Surinder sold me New Corporate Connection in PAU in the month of May and Number is, [protected].

                              Actually i want to change my Old number to [protected] Plan to corporate Plan. and Mr. Surinder told me that I have to Purchase a new number if I have to change my Old Number, s Bill Plan.

                              and he told me my next bills be generated with new corportae Plan.

                              But bill are generated with my old plan

                              I personally met Mr Narsh in his office at Mall Road and he assured me my bill plan
                              wiil be changed and collect my documents once again

                              Now Vodfone customer care are calling to deposit my bills. which are generated with old Bill Plans

                              if i have to pay bills with my old plan then why Mr Surinder sold me new connection with false commitment

                              Now plaese change my bill plan and generate my last two bills with new bill plan so that i can pay my bills.

                              make it asap and on top priority

                              If my bill plan is not changed then i am going to sue you people in Consumer Court as I have no other option left and also i will try to Black list Vodafone in Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana

                                I am vodafone customer from last 4-5 years. My mobile number is [protected].
                                I have some problem with the services. Today I went to Vodafone Service Store(SCO-855, Manimajra Chandigarh), I experienced that the staff is really Dull and irresponsible except One Gentle Person but busy. They couldn't solve my simple problems, infect I can say that they were not able to do so and even they didn't care the customer. I am very angry from such a [censored]ing staff. I am thinking to Quit Vodafone.

                                  This is with regard to the request ID [protected] made for Vodafone Postpaid Mobile Number [protected]. I would like to express my displeasure and disappointment with the services provided by VOdafone staff. Please find below the details of the case:

                                  I had lost my mobile handset containing Vodafone postpaid mobile number – [protected] on Wednesday 18th August 2010. I had called up Vodafone customer care number[protected] on Thursday 19th August in morning. I told the customer care executive who was handling my call that I had lost my mobile phone and would like to temporary suspend my sim card. At the same time I had requested for issuance of duplicate sim card.

                                  I regret to inform that I had faced lot of difficulty while requesting the suspension of my sim card, due to many details which are required to be furnished were not available at that point of time. I had provided the address, my email id, alternate number, last payment made and few other details for verification. But I could not get my sim card suspended due to non availability some details such as the Tariff plan, and bill generation date. I told the executive that am travelling and shall be back in town on Sunday only, therefore my connection should be locked, but the executive refused to do so. I hope you would understand the sensitivity that if the lost sim card is not suspended well in time, it may invite many problems if it reaches wrong hands. Despite of my various requests the executives did not cancelled the sim card. At last I had to arrange for the details though many difficulties and provided the same to customer care executive for cancellation of the sim card.

                                  Later, when the sim card was finally locked on Thursday 19th August at around 01.00 pm I was told that it would take only 24 hours for the duplicate sim to reach my address. I had told the executive that I would like to pick up the sim card from any Vodafone outlet if it can be arranged. But I was told that it would be better to receive the sim card by courier and was assured that my sim would reach me in 24 hours and was allotted the above mentioned request ID.

                                  I strongly regret to inform you that it’s been more than 4 days (the 5th day of request) and I have not yet received the duplicate sim number. Also I feel sad to inform you that I have been calling the customer care number[protected] since Friday 20th Aug, but I haven’t got any satisfactory answer from the customer care executives. They are just telling me to wait as the sim card dispatch is in process. I had sent an email to the Nodal Customer Officer for Delhi, but havent received any response to this mail as well.

                                  I fail to understand that if the duplicate sim card dispatch process takes so much of time, then how come I was assured that I would be getting the duplicate sim in 24 hours by courier.

                                  I feel very disappointed with the services provided by vodafone to their old and sincere customers ( I have been using this number for more than past 8 years).

                                  Request you to kindly look into the matter and arrange to deliver the duplicate sim for my connection ASASP. You would appreciate and understand the problems and inconvenience being faced by me due to non-availability of the sim card.

                                  I HAVE POST PAID CONNECTION OF VODAPHONE MOBILE. MY NUMBER IS [protected]. I RECENTLY LOST MY SIM AND I MADE A REQUEST TO VODAPHONE MINI STORE "SHIVAM TRADERS" FOR ISSUE OF DUPLICATE SIM FOR MY POST PAID CONNECTION BUT THEY ASKED ME TO APPROACH THEM AFTER 10 DAYS. I EVEN CALLED CUSTOMER CARE DIVISION " 111"FOR IT BUT THEY ALSO REFUSED TO REDRESS MY GRIEVANCES AND MOREOVER THEY ASKED ME TO VISIT AZAMGARH BRANCH WHICH IS 200 KMS FROM HERE FOR IT.

                                  i m a girl studying in bca, actually what happend, a boy of my college is disturbing me, so i switched off my cell, and took out the sim from my cell, and got another new connection, but all of a sudden after 10 days i got a call/sms from the same number, when i againg put the same sim to my cell, then its registration was failed, how can it b possible, i went to fodafone store and complained regarding this, but they dint take any action, they are telling this sim card is alloted to some other person, with some different id proof, i requested him to atleast block the sim but they refused, i went to police station, but again they r telling go and make a affidafit with a layer then i will logged a complain regarding this, actually i took that sim in may-2008.my number is-[protected], and the sim what i have its sim card number is:-HLR[protected]
                                  Sir, my vodafone mobile number is [protected]. I went to the Ardhchini, South Delhi[protected] vodafone store and applied for a duplicate sim.At the spot I got the duplicate sim and the staff told it will activate within 24 hrs.But even after 24hrs passed the sim is not activated. Please suggest a solution for this issue.

                                    every month i activate bonas card of 35RS for group calling of 10 piasa /min but on 21/8/10 i recharge with bonas card , recharge is successfully done but service has not been provided by vodaphone .now i am facing 25piase/min from 2 days inspite of calling custumor care & 198 SEVARAL TIMES toll free i have not received the service.

                                    NOW I WILL LAUNGE COMPLAIN AGAINST VODAPHONE COMPANY IN CONSUMER COURT & THIS DATA WILL BE SHARED WITH MEDIA & NEWSPAPER.

                                    Vodaphone is fraud. I have pre paid vodaphone and they keep adding value added services on their own, and then they dont even cancel it when requested. FRAUD.

                                    They make it very difficult to reach a manual operator.

                                    And after an argument with their customer care executive, now they have blocked my phone's access to their manual customer care executive. FRAUDS.

                                      I subscribed for Blackberry Prosumer Lite Services, which is chargeable at Rs. 299 per month; with no extra charges.

                                      While using services, I was charged some unknown charges which caused my bill exceed the credit limit and my phone was deactivated. Nobody in customer care was able to tell me what service I am being charged for. Irritated by inconvenience, I paid Rs. 500 to make myself able to use my phone again. The bill was again increased because o[censored]nknown charges which nobody was able to clarify. It was clear that I am wrongly charged for data usage, which shouldn't be charged and none of the customer service agents was able to help me from getting mentally harassed despite my repeated calls, so I requested to deactivate my blackberry services. The service agent informed me that even if I place a request for deactivation in between the billing cycle, I will be charged flat Rs. 299; which I agreed because I had no other choice.

                                      In my bill, I am charged Rs. 1572.30 for "Blackberry from VF", which is nowhare chargeable as per the services I requested for.

                                      Now vodafone agents are not able to help me, and they even don't inform me that who can help me out. I want to deactivate my connection after paying right charges as per the services I subscribed for, but vodafone people tell me that I need to pay as per the bill that they have provided me, and I wont be able to deactivate my conenction without paying the bill, which is Rs. 1572.30 plus taxes more than what I should have been charged.

                                        From 19th Aug'2010 all my service (outgoing/incomming calls) were suspended on my prepaid vodafone connection. I had been using their prepaid service for over 5 years now & without any prior notification (either SMSs nor VMS) my connection was suspended. On calling up the Vodafone customer care they informed me that there was documentation issues & I will have to visit my nearest Vodafone store.

                                        From there the entire issues started. I visited 3 major vodafone store & each one had a different story.

                                        @ Mossarambagh -Vodafone store :- I had carried my identfifcation proof & was prepared to complete all required formalities to get my services restored by the guy (Vodafone customer care) was just blabbering something putting all his efforts to claim that I will not be activated till next 5 days. And the justification he had was that its a TRAI decision to Suspend those connection where they didn't have fullproof documentation. On looking deeply into this issue one would realize that the decision to bar the prepaid customer fake arised becuase Vodafone retailers had provided fake & done multiple activation on one geninue ID proof. So whoz to be blamed in this case? Its Vodafone who had a loop hole in their process which was well exploited by their retail partners. So check if I could expediet the restoration process planned to go to Panjagutta- Vodafone Store.

                                        @ Panjagutta on 20' Aug- The customer representative said that I had to submit my CAF once again along with ID proof & post this the service would be restored in a days time. Latter in the evening the same vodafone guy SMSed me (on my Tata number) mentioning that I would have to purchase (Rs 100/- ) a replacement SIM as my re-activation was churned.To get further clarity I had tried reaching him but there was no response. So I decided to stop at Mehdipatnam Vodafone store on my way to home.

                                        @Mehdipatnam on 20'Aug- The cashier amicably explained me the process that I need to handover my old SIM & get a new SIM which would be at FOC( free at cost) .However suggested that I do this at Panjagutta - Vodafone store since my CAF & other documentation work was already submitted & this should lead to lesser TAT( Turn Around Time). Also he shared his contact number asking me to call if there was any hassels in getting my replacement SIM. So next day I was at Panjagutta - Vodafone store.


                                        @Panjagutta on 21st Aug - Firstly they said the replacement SIM would come at a cost & will not be offered at FOC.When I claimed that I am eligible for an FOC SIM as per the information given by one of their associates ( Cashier - Mehdipatnam) then they changed the stand that there was need to hand over my old SIM as they would activate me on it. This frustated me & then I took the store incharge to task that I have been getting different version on the restoration process from different Vodafone store. Finally they cross checked on the complete process & then completed the required formalities.

                                        My serices are yet to be restored .......the concerning thing is why an innocent consumer for no fault of his had to undergo this? Why was he not informed before suspending his/her services? Why did the Vodafone Store Team didn't have complete understanding of the issues & the restoration process? Why the TAT time for restoration is as high as 5 days? Is TRAI going to penalize the Telecom Service providers for the damage & agony they have passed on to their customers?
