Hi,

I have complained to vodafone regarding activation of vodafone live service as i recieved a message on 12th May, 2010 that service has been activated which will result in the charge of Rs200 for 100 mb uses. I called the customer care he said service was activated from the website and not from mobile for which i asked them who can u activate the service without my consent. Also, i told them to deactivate the service and they said they will enter my request for deactivation

Even i sent the mail to them to which they confirmed its free of charge promotional service given to u and you will not be charged for it. the company quotes are as follow

But after a month my bill came and it was having 400 rs as a rental for the vodafone live service. I again called customer care they said they dont have any intimation regarding the mail and asked me to mail them again. I mailed them to which they reply saying company quotes are as follow

requested for the pack and neither for the live services. Also, contact me
over phone to discuss the issue further if you guys have time because i dont

response of yours and your customer care as you guys know nothing and shows
hell of irresponsibility. Take it further i am going to discontinue my
services because of your response and further i am going to take matter to
higher authoritie untill than i am not going to pay my dues.

As you read through the mails its quite clear that the company has really cheated on me and even giving excuses for the refund. At present they are giving justification its for the vodafone live service pack of free 100 mb usage whose request i havnt given. Also, i beilieve if i notified the company at the start of the service i havnt given any request and they should rectify it. Its on there part to do the due digilence regarding the mistake and rectify it. I believe its o;d trick of the book that the telecom operators make to activate a service without a consent get addittional charge from the customer.

I am looking forward to you guys to get me the justice. i waiting eagrly foir your reply

Vodafone — vodafone live srevice activation

As per ask I have sent arround 50 SMS-ACT VL to 144 to activate servce but reply is the same SORRY WE AER UNABLE.TRY AGAIN.

    This is the third mail to vodafone after sending you so many reminders my CUG has still not activated .i called up serval times on customer care n they told me that the TAT for CUG is 48 Hrs . I never expected such pathetic services from vodafone . nobody in vodafone is concerned abount the customer complaint the only answer i get is just wait ?????

    I case my problem is not resolved with 24hrs then i dont think i should continue with this number, i have been associated with vodafone from the last 4 years n had never seen such a pathetic service.

      I am bearing a mobile number [protected],[protected]. I am receiving unethical messages from Vodafone marketing team which is disturbing and annoying. Also getting missed calls as a part of their promotion, this happens while driving or when I am in a meeting.

      Here is a sample message from VX Lovebug "what are your chances for a secret love affair with someone you admire. Find out now. SMS AFFAIR (YOUR NAME)(PERSONS NAME) to 51515"

      Being a married person its spoiling the ethical values in my family. All the customer care executives are rude when we ask them why are you sending such messages.

      Similar nonsense messages are coming to both my numbers.Have explained to the customer care several times and had also put a DND request on 20th Apr 2010. But when I visited the store at Frazer Town on 22nd June 2010 the system shows a wrong date and they say it will take another 15 days to get the DND activated. Also I am never able to reach the customer care "may be calls from my number are blocked by Vodafone" But their system shows that I had called them even without being able to reach the customer care

      Inspite of repeated complaints to customer care and the Vodafone Store at Frazer Town there is no action being taken.Vodafone is making my life misearable by making me run around them for stopping these messages. Since this messages are from Vodafone itself and not a third party,I think they should have atleast blocked from their end.But irresponsible customer care and staff had no clue how to handle this issue.

      I was a customer of Airtel for past many years but never got such unethical promotional messages.

      Request to please see that they stop annoying me.

      Vodafone — Being given run around

      I have requested for a migration from post paid to prepaid on Friday the 25th of march 2011. I was told the same takes 3 days to convert. I was given enough run around in the name of retention. Which included asking me to pay 1000 extra stating that I had taken a corporate connection and that the number given at that time was a paid no. Why don’t you guys communicate that while giving the connection. If I don’t use Vodafone I don’t have to pay a thing but if I am choosing to convert to a prepaid user I am asked to pay up .. funny !

      Anyways I paid all that I was asked to on 25th march and still I am waiting for the migration. I followed up several times and each time I had to visit your store as the guy at the store does not answer his phone and customer service washes its hands off by saying please visit the store. Last week I was told a ridiculous reason that the conversion would not happen as there would be some negative marking if they converted his connection and that the retention team would miss the monthly target so the customer ”ME” has to wait until 1st . I had to visit your store again on the 2nd of march as the guy there “Sandeep Singh” did not answer his phone.
      He told me the migration would be done on that evening and should complete by Monday … and I am still waiting ….
      I am also getting similar messages from Vodafone, spoiling my public image. It was a mistake get the Vodafone connection.

      As Vodafone is dedicatedly spending time and amount on such promotions, it should switch the job with that of a pimp, instead o[censored]sing

      The promotional message is like this-VX-61112: "Exclusive Wet Girl Bikini Videos, Huge [protected]@ 49. Only for today. Click http://202.65.157.201/125171"

        Dear Sir,
        I got a Vodafone post paid cell connection with cell no [protected]. On the month of May 2010 bill, I paid through my card. Instead of Rs.1000/- by mistake Rs.10,000/- was paid through my SBI Card. Understanding the mistake I immediately contacted both Vodafone and SBI cards. SBI cards infomed me that the merchant can reverse the payment. Then I contacted Vodafone and informed. Till date the Vodafone has not taken any action. I request you to intervene the matter and get justice to me.

          This is Koushik Chakrabarti from Kolkata. My mobile number is [protected]. Same problem of Caller Tune happened to me yesterday. In the morning I got an SMS in my mobile saying that "Caller Tune service has been activated on your mobile. You will be charged at Rs 30/- monthly rental". I also checked that Rs 30/- was deduced from my Vodafone prepaid balance. This is totally ridiculous as I have never requested for Caller Tune service. I am a Vodafone customer for the last 8 years now and have never activated Caller Tune. When I called 198 to speak to customer complaint desk, they said an USSD code had been sent from my handset. I have no idea what that means and I am more than 200% sure that nothing of that sort has happened. This is totally unethical and Vodafone is cheating customers like this just to get Rs 30/-...Totally Shameless..!!!

          I am writing to Consumer Forum not only to get my hard-earned Rs 30/- refunded from Vodafone, but to protest against this fraud and cheating strategy adopted by Vodafone and shamelessly routing it to us saying that customer himself has requested it.

          Hutch Mobile service — Deduction of Rs. for caller tune charges

          Dear sir, an amount Rs. 45/- is deducted from my mobile phone [protected]. Repeated request is made to stop promotion deals . But it is not stopped. I am not eager to have caller tunes or hello tunes , but still nobody is responding and Rs. from accont is being deducted.I seek your intervention not to send any promotional calls or SMS further and not to deduct any amount from my account.

          i am using vodafone for last 1 month.. but it'sreally giving me lots of troubles and now i don't want to use it anymore.. everyday 5 to 6 times u will get call from some number saying to activate useless things... and moreover your caller tune may be activated without your permission and 50 rupees from ur account will be deducted and u can't make a call to anyone bcoz ur balance is zero.. that's waht will happen and would have happened i[censored]r using VODAFONE.. it's this part is very very weak..

          Vodafone — About activation of caller tune two times without my permission.

          HARASSMENT TO CUSTOMER BY ACTIVATION OF HELLO TUNES BY THE COMPANY
          Hi Sir,
          I have the vodaphone Connection :[protected], In January I had not activated any Hello tunes, and it was automatically activated by the vodaphone, when I did complaint to customer care they told me they didn't do any thing at that time they deducted 30 rupees from my account, at that time i deactivated that tune and requested customer care not to activate any hello tunes automatically on my cell phone. But again the same thing was repeated and a New hello tune was activated on my account. I reciceved a message that this hello tune is for 90 days and they deducted 60 rupees. When i have checked my prepaid balance i come to know that vodaphone people again deducted Rs 30 from my Account.
          Now please what you do when you are in this type of situation?
          I request you to revert back my balance.

Apart from being credited on my preparid account for the caller tune, I also have to face the ignominy of having my callers listen to unsavory tunes. If Vodafone does not deactivate this uncalled for caller tune, I am going to the consumer redressal forum or to court.

          I was surprised on Sunday, 11th Oct,2009 when Rs 30 /- was deducted for caller tune services.

          I was given FREE caller tune for a month. However, I never agreed to continue it beyond a month. So after a month, deducting Rs 30 is wrong on vodafone's part . Its was given as a free service, after the period, it must be withdrawn.

          I contacted the Customer care the same day itself. They didnot take a complaint on it.

On Jun 22, 2010 morning I got an SMS from 56789 saying that "You have successfully activated your Caller Tune Service. Monthly charge Rs 30 or Re 1/day."I also checked that Rs 30/- was already deduced from my Vodafone prepaid balance without my consent. This is totally ridiculous and cheating as I have never requested for Caller Tune service. I am a Vodafone customer for the last 8 years now and my question to the company is don't you think twice before cheating such an old customer like me?. When I called 198 to speak to customer complaint desk, they said I have requested it by sending an USSD code from my handset. This is rubbish as I know for sure what I am doing with my mobile and am more than 200% sure that nothing of that sort has happened. The company is so cheat that it never takes any consent from its customers before activating something and thereby deducting money....!!

          My question to Vodafone is why are you harassing people like this? These are hard-earned money which people strive to earn. This is totally unethical and Vodafone is cheating customers like this just to get Rs 30/-.....Totally Shameless..!!!

          I am Saraswati one of the customer of "Vodafone" having a mobile number-[protected]( post paid connection ) plan - 50 corporate plan. suffering from the worse services just because o[censored]seless "Customer Care Services.
          My purpose of writing is only to tell other people of Vodafone how much Useless company management you are having in mumbai. Since from 6 months i had observe my monthly bill is coming very high.my mobile bill was always in between 250/- to 350/- now from 6 moths its coming 600/- to 900/-

          with out my prior intimation std connection has been attached past from 6 months. this thing i came to know when i contacted to your costumer service regarding my high bills.
          I have asked your representative to disconnect the STD plan on urgently basis which was activated without my permission.
          Also since from 6 months you have over charging 50/- per month rental for the STD plan.till date i have charge 400/-rs vodafone over charge to me. i need this money refund or adjust this money against my bill amount.

              My Name is Santheep I was using [protected] Sim in your service from past 4 - 5 Years I was doing a business, I have paid more than Rs.8000 bill amount too unfortunately I met with an major accident on 01.05.2008 and I was in hospital more than a year in unconscious even after that I have paid the bill amount and was using it but before two month again I have undergone two surgery and I was unable to pay the amount , Just now only I am getting better and going for job .Mr.Imran from your office contacted and I told him the situation and I told I am arranging I will pay , unfortunately due to my family condition I unable to do within this last and this month but Mr.Imran came and talking as street rowdy using bad words and threatening me and my family also telling me to go and die , due to this I am very much upset and got insulted in my street , due to me my earlier company was using airtel , I made them to change into Vodafone also my whole family is using your service only.

              But is it a way to behave to the customer’s .I was referring my friends export company to take connection in your service due to his behavior I said drop that idea ,

              I am assuring I will pay within this month and next month, if he continuing this by giving threatening and insulting me, I don’t have other go as he said I have to suicide.

              Please consider this as my request and do the needful

                I am Gyanranjan Padhi (vodafone number:[protected])working as Software consultant in Bngalore ,i have used your company sim cards from 18th feb 2008.during then time of entered the sim cards in my mobile i have not submitted the documnets what ever you requirred but later i have deposited the docs.still m facing the problem i.e out going call are cancelled from my mobile.when ever i dialed a number a message prompted immidiately saying that"you need a special sub scription .....please dial 111" but i am unable dial 111 also.please verify the matters as soon as possible .i have benn facing a severe problem due to that.

                I Ankit Manoj Valia using Vodafone Service i m having a Postpaid service & My Number is [protected] recently i have lost my mobile and i went to Vodafone Shop in Kandivali @ Raguleela branch, i asked them to alot me a new sim card they asked me abt the identification i alot him a Pan Card Colour Xerox n then he asked me for orignal pan card i tried to explained him that i don't have my original rightnow with me i showed my Company photo id proof that i only Ankit Valia but then also not did not give me the Sim card because of my security i totally agreed that they are right but when i asked them the 1question that previously when my sim card was faulty vodafone people ready to replace my card with in second n din't asked me abt any of the document at that time i again asked them when the mistake is from vodafone side vodafone people won't ask for orignal photo id proof they just alot why because the problem is from vodafone side and after that i asked manager of vodafone at kandivali ruguleela branch that kindly please give me in writing that u people won't ask abt orignal when the sim card is faulty cause they said we won't require so Manager Denied it. (i personally went 3times for this )

                so the main thing is when its customer time they cannot help or adjust it but if Vodafone company is in fault they don't require any documents or any original and alot it very fastly i have an object here so plz plz plz take the neccary action regarding Vodafone company as soon as possible.

                  my number is [protected]. i have activated 14rs gprs pack on 19/06/2010. i used vodafonelive setting and browse.at 1.30 vodafone send one message "hello your bonus 75 vmc 30mb free service is activated.please maintain a minimum bal. of rs3 and sms act vmc 75 to 144 (tollfree) again for activation.". so i changed connection to vodafone connnect setting.i used only 13.45mb, but they deducted my balance 68.45rs. i want my balance so i call cc but not reach cc number on my number. why vodafone cheating me like this? i have all evidence in my phone on usage and your sms..

                  Vodafone — Cheating me for gprs

                  Vodafone is very very cheating company this company cheating for gprs connection. the service announced unlimited browsing Internet via gprs back (95 Bonus) with 30 days validity. I recharged 95 bonus card after 3 days he charged around 250 Rs for gprs connection. I request for this complaint to vodafone customer care He's don't proper service and don't return my money so please go through leagal action for this complaints.

                    I am a Vodafone customer with number [protected]. The service provider doesn't care for its customer's comfort. I have been receiving Telemarketing messages for long even after registering in Do not disturb category. When I called up their representative, I got the most crap service advice of my life which was

                    "Sir we can't do anything in this, whenever such messages come to you mobile you can call us, provide the full details regarding the content, of the SMS and we disconnect that advertiser within 21 days"

                    This means that every time i get a crap TM message I call these people and waste 5 mins. The company has forgotten that I am its customer who pays for the pay of its employees and not the other way round.

                    If any any of the thousand employees of Vodafone care for their customers then please take note of this complaint.

                    The vodafone customer care are bunch of jerks, in response to my above complaint two things have happened
                    1. Got a crap call from their dumb executive saying "sir can you give me the details of the messages you receive"when I asked him that can you stop all the messages, that dumb guy said no, then y the hell you calling me if you cant help" for heaven sake use you brains, it will grow if you use.

                    2. The frequency of the crap messages have increased, it seems that vodafone want to harrass the customers who complaint against them. (HItler of tele operators)

                    I must say that these companies are very careful in western countries where their butt is on fire in case they didnt control the TM messages but in India due to customer unawareness they take advantage. We the customers have to hit them hard only then they would get responsible.
                    If any vodafone guy with IQ of >10 read do take notice of this complaint. and please dont call again with the above sought of message

                    He told me that he is speaking from Vodafone , he try to tell me about 300 rs monthly billing plan , when I don't want to take interest in that products , he tell me unnonsence words ( gali ) .

                    Without any reason , you have recording at your end you can check and confirm this .

                          details as you are Mumbai subscriber”



                          Again I called on [protected] I don’t remember his name now after lots of fights he suggested me the same thing to contact Maharahstra circle.



                          .I m Mumbai customer, My services are belongs to Mumbai and I have activated roam like home on my both the numbers I m using Vodafone from last 3 yrs



                          Sorry to say u r services are not like hutch or orange its your responsibility to escalate this call to Maharashtra circle.

                          My name is saju sahadevan...earlier i used to appreciate vodafone services a lot..
                          yesterday i realised that it is very pathetic.
                          yesterday on 10th dec2010 without any intimation or information vodafone has deducted my 30rs balance for callertune..
                          i havent given any request for callertune neither i hav pressed any button..
                          some vodafone callertune is been activated on my cell..yesterday i complained abt dis to the vodafone call centre..
                          that time i really wasted my 40 mins on dat topic and nobody could helped me..i did call them 5 times...
                          but i din get any reply from them..The agents over there were simply disconnected the line while talking, ,
                          and some put me on hold...and afterwards nvr came back to me..den the agent again disc the line.
                          afterwards they blocked my number.so i m nt able to call to the vodafone cust care ..
                          as i have already tried thrice ovr thr.
                          Afterwards i hav given my number to my frnd and she called me on behalf of me n registerd a
                          complaint..she also faced a lots of problems the agents were disconnecting the line.
                          atlast she registered a complaint on behalf of me.and i gt 1 complaint num[protected] by sameer khan(agent)..
                          I really want my refund of rs 30 or else i ll escalate to the higher authority and i ll cancel my number also..
                          my family members r using vodafone.seriously i ll cancel all the numbers.swear.i want my refund.

I submitted the bank statement at above mentioned vodafone store dt. 25 oct.12 and had discussions with Mrs. Seema Pustake of paud rd. pune Vodafone store owner. I have called your customer care numbers 10 times and visited above mentioned store dated 25 oct., 28oct., 2 nov., 9th nov12. But no positive feedback or action from your end ..Do the needful...

                            Most respectfully, I want to draw your kind atention to my accute problem which I am facing for a few days more.

                            I am a vodafone prepaid life time customer from dec/2008. As I got the connection, I am verry happy .My zNokia set is 'Nokia 3110' and my vodafone prepaid lifetime No. is [protected]. Every 6 months I recharge my connection with Rs. 200/- as conditioned when I purchased it. My balance account was 350/- or somethind plus (approximate). Once I tried to activate GPRS .I don't khnow if I was successful to activate, but after that I did not interact to anybody in net. On that mobile I used totake photograph and listen music.Ony one or wo kow my no. as I haveanother vodafoe from the inception. But one fine morning mit was not fine...I saw my balance4 come to defuce to Rs.56/-. I asked to the customer care, they told me that several times I actiated my GPRS ad within 24 hrs the connection will be lost. I am surpised and thought at last as if it was my ignorance. As I an a life time prepaid customer, my incoming is working, various offers are coming and after that on day I saw my eintire balance lost and the balance show to me -Rs.86.00.I surprised how it is possible for a prepaid vodafone life time customer??Again I asked in the customer care, they tole me.all those are my fault.

                            An offer came last 31.05.2010 to recharge with Rs, 9.00, and my balance would be zero.I recharged with Rs, 20.00 (transaction id(K[protected], as there was no option for Rs. 9.00 t the retailer, then the balance reduced to -73.00(approxc).

                            Now I want to know how I shall get rid of these problems and shall get normal sevice in my prepaiod life time vodafone customer.

                            I asked several times to the customer care, some of them behave gently but not helped me, they are now seems to me totally failure to get those chair, hopeless as they misguided me. I canot connet to no. 6790 and no, 6789, and the no, 198 is also not responding ( may be busy) in good faith I thought,

                            Now I cannot connect against any offer. the reply option shows in green and no reply came and shows me invalid

                            I would be highly obliged if you look into the matter urgently as I am unable to connect the public relation, Hope you will gently realisr my problem, otherwise I and all the members of my familoy who are vodafone connection holder changed te sim.

                              Dear sir,
                              I am customer of vodafone from last 12 yrs and using mobile number [protected]. Every year, I am receiving call from vodafone to renew my advance rental plan of Rs500 for one year & when I receive such call, i inform them to renew the same and bill me for the same. But this time, I have not received any call from Vodafone service centre to renew the advance rental plan & they happilily charged me Rs149 as rent of one month & raised the bill accordingly. I am not using this number so much but still I am paying happily every month Rs100 in advance against a bill of Rs50. I would like to renew the advance rental plan of Rs500 for next year but in the meantime, I would request to you to look into this matter & try to reimburse Rs149 they have charged for current month bill.
                              Also I contacted vodafone customer care to block my number against unwanted messages. They blocked unwanted messages for few months & now again I am getting so much of stupid message to buy property etc which makes my inbox full and I miss my important messages.

                                This is in regards to the network issue faced on my number [protected] for which I have been complaining since the past 6 month. I am having postpaid corporate connection since 2007. So I have logged a complained in Vodafone customer care executive that time they said sir our network team work on that area Network Tower. But after completed 6 month no improvement in the network. Still the same issue so last month again I logged a complained in network department they said the network engineer will be come at your place and check issue. After that I have received call from prakesh (Vodafone C C E) he fix appointment with engineer at 2:30 P M and end of the day nobody came. So next day again I have called and again he fix appointment and end of the day same result. And this same thing happened in 5 times? I want to ask Vodafone Nodal manager why it’s happened again and again if you are not going to solve my issue than why your Executive call me and fix appointment. After given appointment with your executive I have canceled my whole day scheduled. and end of the day I have lost my productivity and time because of given time to your Engineer. Give me final answer from your side.

                                  i ( abhiram) got the message from company that i[censored] recharge with 34 rs u will get 1000 messages so i recharged that offer on June 15,2010 until now i not get the extra messages credited i called to customer care nearly 10 times from today onwards they r disconnected my call to customer care so i called from another number and i ask the details they said to go to near mini store to credit the messages i went there they said its trash message send from company .so ban those companies who is providing wrong information..

                                    I have been using Blackberry service from Vodafone Mumbai on my 8830 World Edition unlocked phone for over 2 years. It stopped connecting to the network. Using the device with other Vodafone SIM or using SIM with other Vodafone device works. The support staff is absolutely lousy (100 calls, 100 times same explaination/call content) and absolutely lack any kind of expertise. They do not keep committments of time, do not provide true information and not bothered to help customer escalate. Worst ever....am discountinuing after being a customer for over 4 years.

                                    i have been using Vodafone almost from 5-6 yrs. I have always felt myself proud customer which unfortunately is not true today. i have changed my BB plan from 299 to 599 last week. its already 7 days since 'm unable to use the services. inspite of calling the CC again and again, its routine for me to call at the customer care 3-4 times in a day and get request/compaint no. which has no meaning. i feel its totally useless support staff with no expertise. in this week i have talked to so many varun's, ali's, abhishek's, preeti's, pankaj's and the list continues...they will say sorry twice or thrice in a sentence but doesn't really mean.
                                    i have not received a single call from CC to rectify or rather i should say identify the problem. the last resort is to change the service provider. i guess this is what they are waiting for... i would appreciate this my matter is taken seriously.

                                    I advise everyone NOT to use VODAFONE.. This is the most disgusting company.. They changed my tariff plan to a ridiculous plan which Nobody uses.... I contacted everyone including their CEO.. CEO...

                                      Unfortunately I had taken prepaid connection from Vodafone. All the documents were submitted at the center where connection was taken. They retainde the photo copy of documents and start the connection. But after 3 days all the incommings and outgoing call was disconnected. Reason documents was not submitted. . I was asked to visit nearest Customer care center. I had visited 4 times, all the times server was down.

                                      I do not underastand, why they have started the connection when documents were not there. D'nt Know how they are servicing the customer when their servers are down? I have other connections also from other service providers but they are perfectly working.
                                      By Changing company name after every year does not attract customer but its service to the customer which matters.

                                        When ever i make to call , the phone gets disconnected after 30 mins. While talking to any family member, i can adjust , but while taking a client call, it is very difficult. Those call are for an hour and sometimes stretch to 1.30 hr also.

                                        I have tried to complain to the customer care, but while dialling the number 222, they give option for talking to customer care executive as 4, but while pressing that option, it says invalid option.Similarly, while dialling through the other nyumber 111, they dont give any option of talking to customer care excecutive. While dialling in the other number 198 for compliants and feedback, the executive says, they only handle the network complaints and feedback.

                                        These things are there to help the customer, but it doesnot seem to be same at all.

                                        Vodafone Prepaid — Disconnection of call

                                        I am facing a strange problem. It might be a facility provided by vodafone. The call will disconnect on its own after 30 minutes of talk. again i have to make the call. nowadays i am facing this problem a lot since most of my calls are more than 30 minutes. Kindly give a solution for this. When i called customercare they say that they dont have a solution for this.
                                        My mobile No.[protected] is lost. so kindly block my sim (prepaid).

                                        Vodafone Prepaid — call disconnnect

                                        when ever we call there is no connection but the money will be charged for every call and then get disconnected and will be routed to some other no.
                                        They are cheating customers by charging money on call which will not connect and finally bad customer service
                                        AIRTEL is much better in service Than VODAFONE,
                                        Vodafone is cheating people ...please take some action ...they are making a lot of money by cheating people ...
                                        The Government should take some action if not any ... to get this resolved for the " PEOPLE"
