I bought two new vodafone postpaid connection with friends & family pack on 27th Jan. 2010. After complete verification they activated my servecies but forgot to activate frinds & family pack and they even did not inform me. Due to which my bill reached upto max. limit very soon.
Again I forwarded my request on 11th Feb. 2010 & got confirmation sms on 13rd Feb. 2010 that my services has been activated. But till date (16th Feb. 2010 at 16:00) my services are not active and again my credit limit has been crossed. Details are following :

My no. [protected] which is now temperary blocked is a used number. Ealier it was issued to Mr. Deepak Kumar who did scam of 35 crores and VODAFONE issued this no. to me.
Also I had requested to disconnect my another no. [protected] so why you are not doing this.

Note :- I will note be responsible for any inconvenience if anybody got a call from these no. ([protected] & [protected]) coz m not using these nos. now, only VODAFONE will be responsible for this.

    hello sir
    for the last 2months i have been using the vodafone now i need to activate call conference so i approched help line but they are saying that i need to fill some form &photo copy should be given to near voda fone service provider then only it will be activated but in other network without such these formalitis they are giving call conference so i feel that it is very bad & suppose if you want to sell any of your things in just sms u r activating i thing it will end at your costmer loss so try to avoid this

    How to connect the conference call, if connect the error msg was shown, kindly help me...
    I'm facing a similar problem, they are asking me to deposit Rs.2500/- to activate Call Conference service behind which i don't see a suitable logic. As I'm compelled to use their service as I'm part of a CUG connection of my company. The Service that is free for any other user requires a deposit for a corporate connection. Hilarious!!!

    Me too, today i just got a surprise by Vodafone saying Rs 2500 deposit required to activate concall... if the same has been communicated earlier i wouldn't have taken the connection. I am not going to pay a single rupee to use concall facility. I am now thinking to port to another service provider or to convert this card in prepaid connection.

    Clever Vodafone. My address was not verified by their employees and they blocked my outgoing connection including data. I got irritated and asked them to terminate my number. They told me that it cant be done in the middle of address verification process.. It took them 15 days to activate my no. and they charged me amount for the entire month telling that my incoming services were active.

    Hi Vodafone Customer Care Team,

    I'm prepaid customer from Karnataka and wanted to activate the Conference Call facility. I have checked in your website and it is given that this Conf Call facility is discontinued for Karnataka.

    I don't understand the logic behind enabling it for whole india and disable only for Karnataka.

    Also, in this mobile era it is strange to see a top leading mobile carrier is having limitations in enabling the service for prepaid customers when other telephone carriers are giving it in easy method.

    If anyone from Vodafone is reading this message thread. Please respond.

    Hi Team,

    M 2 facing same problem not able to go for call conference n top of that u ppl have suggested some activation code though i gone through that but no result yet so its very inconvenient for Vodafone customers to go through such a pathetic situation while doing just a call conference call, really sounds Awwwww. let me know how to do it .

      I am using above mentioned Vodafone connection since feb.2009 with Lifetime Postpaid @999 Tariff Plan but I was surprised when I received a my mobile bill through mail on dt. 08.03.10 they have changed my plan from Lifetime Postpaid @999 Tariff Plan to Talk 199 hello plan. Due to this reason my outstanding pending and I reply again & again your payment collection executives when i received my next bill i will be pay my all dues, but all these happend my mobile dissconnect from 08.03.10, I had already compalined regarding the same to your call centre to Mr. Manoj by comp. no. 69940468, but inspite of that i don;t have received any reverted back call from your side on the mentioned issue.



      I used this Vodaphone connection approximately 1 year, Previously I have complained against vodafone regarding wrong billing services & activation so many things which customer d'not have required.

      i have been facing numerous problems with your company for billing charges since connection activation to last bill because from my first bill I had looked that Vodafone activated many chargable services without my permission & information.


      I am dissatisfied with your services from starting when i purchased this connection from Paramjeet Singh at your C.P. Vodafone Centre because as per your scheme my gifts for new connection still pending for the same and more over you dont live up to your motto "happy to help" its an irony because i have only been facing problems after problems . i would like you to look into the matter as soon s possible.
      not receiving proper assistance from the cust care officers
      I am fed up with vodafone

      I WOULD LIKE A MANAGER TO LOOK INTO MY PROBLEMS AND

        i have done recharge online thru my credit card from vodafone.in on 5/3/10 but i have not credited in my mobile account and also not credited back in my credited card account,i have sent atleast 12 mails to vodafone delhi and they replied once only and give me assured for credited back amount in 72 hrs in my bank account,but 10 days have passed no one listing for my words and not giving my money.my number is [protected]

        You are absolute right I am also sufrer of same type problem nobody is responding on customer care 111.
        recently i have switched from idea to vodafone .I think services of IDEA were far better.I have switched over due to problem of connectivity in my area. Such type problem not being attended by such type of world wide known company are not good.I think management should took seriously such type of complains to save image of company.
        I agree with your comments.I have recenly switch over from IDEA to Vodafone due to some network related problem but as far as customer care is concerned IDEA is far better than VODAFONE since I am trying to lodge my comlain with 111 regarding amount deducted from my account on 30/4/11 but recharge failed.In this regard I have also sent mail neither any action taken nor any reply recieved from your end.Customer care even not bothered to receive phone or reply properly.
        Such type of pitty things thrashed image of such reputed company.Management should should look after and take decision promptly in this regard.

          I have given a letter to close my Vodafone telephone account for the telephone No.[protected] on 3rd October 2009. I have given the letter in Vodafone Store, Punjagutta, Hyderabad on 3rd October 2009. The person who took my letter has informed me that an amount of Rs.903/- has to be paid by me to close my account on that day and that I will not be eligible for any discounts admissible on my account since I am closing it before the scheduled billing date. I accepted that and paid Rs.903/- immediately. Vodafone has not closed my account and instead kept sending me monthly bills which I refused to pay. Vodafone claims that I have used the phone subsequently but all they could show are charges agains vodafone live which I believe will be charged the moment the phone with the vodafone sim card with GPRS is switched on. Since I have asked to close my account on 3rd October 2009, the sim card should have been de-activated on that day. Hence I am not liable for any charges subsequent to 3rd October 2009 and the amount of Rs.903/- paid by me on 3rd October 2009 at the behest of the Vodafone stores, Punjagutta, Hyderabad must be the final settlement. The Company is not accepting this position and is harassing me with the bills.

          Vodafone — Closure of Account

          This is in regards to the number [protected]. I had been using this number in Mumbai. However before shifting from Mumbai, I settled the account and cleared all the dues. But still I am getting irritating mails from your side that I have not paid my bills.

          To register the compalaint, I went to your Vodafone Customer Centre, Goregaon East, twice but still the problem is not resolved.

          When I paid my final dues, the executive didn't issued me any slip against it as he was getting late for something. He assured me that my number will be closed. Still I kept on getting mails from your side.

          Second time I went again to raise the issue but that executive had left the organisation. I again register the complaint, but still it was not been resolved.

          I am wondering what should I do now.

            I am sorry to say the points which you have mention regarding your client Cellular Mobile Telephony Services…all are wrong..

            I have made complaint (for [protected]) on 111 in the month of August 2008 I am having network problem like not available/ call drop/ echo sound… they have not given any response properly… till Nov, 2008 they have not respond properly they keep only follow up of payment not regarding network solution…

            This not one case... Because this my add on card… My main no. is[protected] for that I have made complaint in April 2008 till Nov 2008 they have not given single call from their side… So I have made written complaint In Nov. 2008 for both no’s :[protected] as well as [protected] that if have not solve my network problem with 1 week I am going to stop my payment… Why should I pay money for not having network properly? I used got calls on landline no. that our both cell no’s are coming not available or not reachable… I don’t think so main S. V. Road area is some were inside deep area…

            You have written in spite or your client repeated request and reminders from time to time I have not made payment… Ok fine.. Then what about your client… in spite of repeated complaints they have not solve my problem till Nov. 2008? When I have given written complaint with sever warning they have sent one guy to check network… he found that there are too weak signals and sometimes no signals which he himself called me and told me!!! Then have email and courier me one letter that they will give me temporary network booster facility… I have already mention in my letter that due to your faulty network I have lost more than Rs. 75000/- as my main card no. [protected] is corporate card which is I am using for business purpose. In this you told me why can’t I went to court and make criminal case against your client… I have sufficient proof as well as all emails with me. Regarding no. [protected] case why should I pay if I am not getting network at all!!! Why can’t they solve my problem as per TRAI and DOT rules and regulation….

            In the case of [protected] they have taken period for call back from April 2008 to Nov. 2008 and for [protected] they have taken period to call back from August 2008 to No. 2008!!! That to when I have made written complaint thru email… then what is use of Call Center … is it just for show….. Even I have found that many times call center person have not write my complaint only!!! When I have cross check after 5 mints!!! Many times they have not give me Complaint no. also they use to just cut my call…

            Height of harassment is that when I have tried to get appointment with Vodafone CEO and MD from nodal office at andheri - east on call (no.[protected] they are not transferring my call first at all when I have made so many calls on single day she transfer all to secretary of Mr. Chopra, she have taken my no.’s and it is regarding what.. And told me she will give call me in 20 minits… till date I have not received call from her!!! … Is this way to handle customer!!! She had not called me because she may come to know when she inquired regarding my complaints and status that it’s all their companies fault of each and every dept. include in that.. Then how can she talk to company MD that this person wants your appointment for such and such reasons…

            When same day have tried to contact Mr. Sujit Suvarna he is not there on desk madam who talk to me told me that you have made only 3 complaints and your assuming that you have made call on 111!!! I think before making such statement she must not went thru all details… Simple thing she forget that if ask her that I want all list details of call I have made from April 2008 till that day which is week prior to Mahashivrati 2009. In that list only all get clear that who is lying!!! Also if I ask voice record of my all call which I have made on 111.. it will get clear who is what position….!!! One more point if customer made complaint they have to give complaint no. and that complaint no. they won’t closed till customers problem get solve… and even they can’t issue another complaint no… In this case they have made this also…!!! Then what does that means!!! Who is faulty me or your client!!!??? She had no common sense before making such statement…

            Another incidence that… Trupti Banushali from Vodafone she called me regarding payment I have ask her please solve my network problem from the day which your company solves my problem I am ready to make payment for future as I have used to make in past… Then she had told me sorry, you have to pay or otherwise we disconnect your services.. So I have told her I am not ready to make payment for faulty network services for which your asking me to pay, you can disconnect by both no’s I don’t need such services… Call ended and within 2 mints I got email that within 3 working days your no. will be discontinue!!! What fast service!!! Your client must shame on such services.. And such person who is working with them.., Instead of solving my problem which pending from April 2008 they are interested in discontinuing my no’s!!!! What a service!! And you have written in your letter that 18% interest!!! If I went to court just think what will happen… You must have come to know that how much I have prepared… only think I the problem which can solve mutually not required to get in legal kind of things…

            The all depts... tried to hide their irresponsible behavior which they have made when they come to know that customer is not going to listen at all he wants CEO and MD face to face meeting regarding this matter they offer me network booster facility to just hide this matter from top higher authorities.

            Why should I bear all loss (Rs.75000/- as this my complaint for[protected]corporate card) for more than 9 months and for [protected] more than 4 months) which I have incurred as polite person I have ask them to you give me network 24x7 for full month if I get satisfied with your services which I have used to get from 2004 to till end March 2008 I am ready to my dues… but they not my solve problem within months time.. So last I have to make sever step to stop payment…

            Sorry for this... As business person you may also understand my problem… is this way to handle customer… I am graphic designer, working from last 11 yrs, and from last 5/6 yrs I am giving services 21/22 hrs day to my clients… As telecom company they are also in service industry only… they can’t make statement they we are not liable to give you 24x7 services…

            So it’s my humble request you all three person that please give appoint of you all on 1 day at 1place at 1 time lets meet all together face to face four (yourself, Mr. Ghosh Vodafone CEO, Mr. Chopra Vodafone MD and myself) o[censored]s and sort out this matter ones for all.. I have harassed like anything till date by your client… That day will come with my all proof, all email correspondence prints…

            Know you have read this letter... mean time many calls i have received from recovery dept. till date but no one is ready to your company’s faults... As professional i want my losses per month Rs. 10,000/- from the date of April 2008 till today.... or else I will take this matter in news media as well as print media....             Vodafone — not giving proper network service but want bill amount...

            Till date I have not received any reply from these 3 People I have mentioned below... Vodafone CEO, MD and the Advocate who sent me ill-legal notice.

            Please let me guide how to get such kind of matter infron of all people how vodafone people harass common people... Even their advocates... he also not replied back till date... waise bhi reply kya karenge woh.. kuch karne layak rahega toh na... now I want this matter come on TV media on all new channel please help me out as early as possible I want to show them if common person get harasment get cross how he reacts...

I used got calls on landline no. that our both cell no’s are coming not available or not reachable… I don’t think so main S. V. Road area is some were inside deep area…

            You have written in spite or your client repeated request and reminders from time to time I have not made payment… Ok fine.. Then what about your client… in spite of repeated complaints they have not solve my problem till Nov. 2008? When I have given written complaint with sever warning they have sent one guy to check network… he found that there are too weak signals and sometimes no signals which he himself called me and told me!!! Then have email and courier me one letter that they will give me temporary network booster facility… I have already mention in my letter that due to your faulty network I have lost more than Rs. 75000/- as my main card no. [protected] is corporate card which is I am using for business purpose. In this you told me why can’t I went to court and make criminal case against your client… I have sufficient proof as well as all emails with me. Regarding no. [protected] case why should I pay if I am not getting network at all!!! Why can’t they solve my problem as per TRAI and DOT rules and regulation….

            In the case of [protected] they have taken period for call back from April 2008 to Nov. 2008 and for [protected] they have taken period to call back from August 2008 to No. 2008!!! That to when I have made written complaint thru email… then what is use of Call Center… is it just for show….. even I have found that many times call center person have not write my complaint only!!! When I have cross check after 5 mints!!! Many times they have not give me Complaint no. also they use to just cut my call…

            Height of harassment is that when I have tried to get appointment with Vodafone CEO and MD from nodal office at andheri - east on call (no.[protected] they are not transferring my call first at all when I have made so many calls on single day she transfer all to secretary of Mr. Chopra, she have taken my no.’s and it is regarding what.. And told me she will give call me in 20 minits… till date I have not received call from her!!! … Is this way to handle customer!!! She had not called me because she may come to know when she inquired regarding my complaints and status that it’s all their companies fault of each and every dept. include in that.. Then how can she talk to company MD that this person wants your appointment for such and such reasons…

            When same day have tried to contact Mr. Sujit Suvarna he is not there on desk madam who talk to me told me that you have made only 3 complaints and your assuming that you have made call on 111!!! I think before making such statement she must not went thru all details… Simple thing she forget that if ask her that I want all list details of call I have made from April 2008 till that day which is week prior to Mahashivrati 2009. In that list only all get clear that who is lying!!! Also if I ask voice record of my all call which I have made on 111.. it will get clear who is what position….!!! One more point if customer made complaint they have to give complaint no. and that complaint no. they won’t closed till customers problem get solve… and even they can’t issue another complaint no… In this case they have made this also…!!! Then what does that means!!! Who is faulty me or your client!!!??? She had no common sense before making such statement…
            Another incidence that… Trupti Banushali from Vodafone she called me regarding payment I have ask her please solve my network problem from the day which your company solves my problem I am ready to make payment for future as I have used to make in past… Then she had told me sorry, you have to pay or otherwise we disconnect your services.. So I have told her I am not ready to make payment for faulty network services for which your asking me to pay, you can disconnect by both no’s I don’t need such services… Call ended and within 2 mints I got email that within 3 working days your no. will be discontinue!!! What fast service!!! Your client must shame on such services.. And such person who is working with them.., Instead of solving my problem which pending from April 2008 they are interested in discontinuing my no’s!!! What a service!! And you have written in your letter that 18% interest!!! If I went to court just think what will happen… You must have come to know that how much I have prepared… only think I the problem which can solve mutually not required to get in legal kind of things…

            The all depts... tried to hide their irresponsible behavior which they have made when they come to know that customer is not going to listen at all he wants CEO and MD face to face meeting regarding this matter they offer me network booster facility to just hide this matter from top higher authorities.
            Why should I bear all loss (Rs.75000/- as this my complaint for[protected]corporate card) for more than 9 months and for [protected] more than 4 months) which I have incurred as polite person I have ask them to you give me network 24x7 for full month if I get satisfied with your services which I have used to get from 2004 to till end March 2008 I am ready to my dues… but they not my solve problem within months time.. So last I have to make sever step to stop payment…

            Sorry for this... As business person you may also understand my problem… is this way to handle customer… I am graphic designer, working from last 11 yrs, and from last 5/6 yrs I am giving services 21/22 hrs day to my clients… As telecom company they are also in service industry only… they can’t make statement they we are not liable to give you 24x7 services…

            So it’s my humble request you all three person that please give appoint of you all on 1 day at 1place at 1 time lets meet all together face to face four (yourself, Mr. Ghosh Vodafone CEO, Mr. Chopra Vodafone MD and myself) o[censored]s and sort out this matter ones for all..             I have paid an premium for a number and activation is no where in sight even after 30 hours. made three trips to the outlet yet the staff are projecting politeness without any tangible result.
            Mr Ashish and Ms Aparna polite yet far from keeping up the commitments. They mad mistake in form and customer like me to suffer.

            Vodafone is harassing to their customer at the time of disconnection. Many times I have been requested for disconnection, but they want me visit vodafone store as I lost my email ID which is registered on Vodafone, I am assuming my connection has been discontinue and I stopped using their services but still getting invoice from last six months. When I called to vodafone they informed me your number has been suspended not disconnected, you have to visit vodafone service centre for the same and you need to pay all the outstanding till date.
            i have applied for post paid to prepaid on dt 14th july, 2014 at vodafone store shakar pur delhi-110092, till date they have changed by form as well as sim two time, saying that the earlier sim and form was wrong, i want to know who is responsible for this act, is vodafone top ediet reply me i think there is no one responsible person, all is like there brand hero happy to help we can't expect help from a dogy.

            This is highly irritating.

            Please do a complete investigation what went wrong from yourside and give me the refund for all the excess that was charged till date.

            I’m holding the above mentioned 2 numbers.

            The recent bill I received was a shocker to me. This is close to4 to 5 times more than my usual bill.

            My [protected] had a billed amount of Rs. 2600 (approx) and[protected] had a billed amount of Rs. 4800 (approx).

            I noticed that the high charges were due to data usage.

            I have received 80% data usage SMS from Vodafone but haven’treceived any other SMS stating that I have used 100% and subsequent usage willbe charged extra or anything of that sort.

            Why I was not informed anything in this regard? In previousmonths whenever I’m exceeding the data limit I used to receive those SMS. Thisis absolutely unacceptable.

            And moreover beyond 1 GB of free usage my speed should have gotreduced to 2G – but that didn’t happen. I suspect there is an error fromVodafone side.

            Can you please look into this and give me a positive response?

            1- I have use data in day only for whatup not for download the data still I
            got msg from customer care regards usage 1000MB. Its not possible. without any download movie and without update the apps.

            The service parson call me and giving response your using android phone and also using 3G speed data that why is taking more MB. when I using Tata Docomo 3G data its consume only a date is max 200MB is only for whats up. I am using only data pack for only whats up purpose's not for downloading.

            The vodafone care person not giving good service to customer Please look into it.
            Similar attitude I'm facing. Consistently asking for support for data connectivity in Bangalore. Surprised to know that Delhi users donot get data connectivity in this city.
            No one responded even after complaining and by day end I was communicated that complaint was resolved (without any resolution)

            Earlier I was using Aircel connection (No.- [protected]) which was port to Vodafone (Relationship no.- 1.[protected] in the month of July'15.All the dues are cleared.But yesterday I got a call from Aircel saying Rs.391/- was due because of which they have disconnected my line.I have made the payment of Rs.391/- yesterday itself (receipt copy is enclosed through attachment).But still they have yet not started the line.I am even getting some message frequently from tomorrow written "Sim not provisioned.Error Code - MM#2".


            Kindly look into the matter and startup my line soon as I am facing a lot of problems due to this disconnection.

            You all are very much correct at your place. I am also facing the same problem.

            You all would be surprise to know that It's more than 45 days I am using the postpaid connection and my physical verification is not carried out till now. It's more than 3 days my services are stopped just because my physical verification is not done.

            They just keep on sending auto generated mails. We pay for the services (along with service tax). But it seems they are least bothered.
            I made complaint to Vodafone corporate care and appellete and sent email to ll the news channel as the advisors gave incorrect info and disconnected the call each time, however vodafone is not bothered about it and they are not even responding to my emails.

            I never used profanity.

            Its a disgrace on Vodafone, for providing pathetic service.

            Definitely agree with you, I have been facing similar issues in being charged foer services not use while customer care exectives are either rude and or just put you on hold with no resolution despite mutiple follow ups, Vodafone is very quick to block your number or do something as severe as sending a legal notice to a consumer. After sending the notice, they have agreed that the fault was theirs and have rectified only some of the charges, yet to get a full resolution though. Do they realise legal implications of this?
            Even after marking the CEO, there is not correct resolution.

            I was getting sms regularly for offer on 3G Internet plan hence I called up on your helpline no. wherein agent told me I am eligible for 4G data plan up to 2 GB usage.

            However I haven't got any information on Capping of amount of 1.5k.

            Later I received call wherein I was told about Capping hence I called up your helpline no. for clarification.

            Clearly told the agent to deactivate the plan and to convert it to my earlier plan.This time agent deactivated and activated Rs 450 Internet plan.

            I don't understand why your CS team take customers for ride.

            Now I want you to activate Rs 300 plan wherein i should get 3G plan upto 2 GB then normal 2G speed unlimited without any Capping or else activate my earlier plan of Rs 250 wherein I was getting 3G speed upto 1GB then normal speed unlimited without any Capping.

            I have been facing the same apathy from Vodafone.

            there are a bunch of idiots sitting there who do not understand the customers issue and are just doing small lip service for the sake of their job.

            I have been chasing them to clarify the reason outstanding amount since the last 4 months. Every time i get a bill, but no clarification.
            All i hear from them is that i have to pay - Why? What for? How? No one has a clue.

            I also agree with above mentioned issues. I faced the same today. I did a recharge of 349 two times from vodafone.in. It is clearly mentioned that you will get 1.5 GB data per day and it is still showing same in site.
            But I get 1.5 only for 1 day. Ridiculous.

            And get no response from support. They are just putting your calls on hold or ask to wait for 24 hours. After 24 hours they ask u to wait more.

            Based on your request received on 28/05/2018 via website to activate the 599 10 days validity international roaming pack, the existing daily Rs.500 pack was correctly deactivated and you have been charged accurately as per the 599 roaming pack benefits.

            Yes, as mentioned and confirmed in the previous mail that IROAM 500 daily pack was activated on his mobile on 28th May, 2018. For that Mr. Upadhyay got a message also from your end which he had shown to Mr. Milind and informed him.
            But after getting the message he was unable to make outgoing calls nor could he download any mail. That’s why he had tried and activated IROAM 599 pack through your website.
            For that he had not received any notification/ message from Vodafone.
            My question is, when IROAM 500 was activated then why he was not able to use your services available in the pack.
            When he tried online to activate the IROAM 599 pack, did your portal gave any kind of intimation notification that IROAM 500 is already been activated in his mobile, would like to change to a new pack (IROAM 599) or not.
            This clearly indicates system failure from your end and as per the IR 500 pack his bill should not have crossed more than INR 3000 – 3500 and you have charged triple.
            Mr. Upadhyay was not being intimated by the system nor he was aware of the fact that a new pack has been activated on his mobile phone.

            Considering your relationship with us, as a token of gesture, we have already credited Rs.500+18% GST towards roaming pack rental and waived off 10%+ GST on the international roaming usage charges.

            Relationship certainly matters undoubtedly if you / Vodafone would have shown inquisitiveness and /eagerness and would have taken immediate actions to resolve his issue. But it took 50 mails, sent to different mail ids of Vodafone Officials to resolve his issue. (If needed I can attach all the 50 Emails for your perusal)
            But unfortunately nobody bothered to revert him with a solution at a glance.

            Yesterday also after paying the excess money to Vodafone (Almost triple) his services got barred twice. One during morning hours and again from 2020 Hrs. The entire night Mr. Upadhyay was not able to make any call. He had also called up your service centre to resume his services.
            This clearly shows lack inter-departmental co-ordination and being such a renowned International Company such glitches are not expected.

            We too are in service industry and we know very well how to maintain long term relationship our customers. If there is any customer complain then that needs to be sorted out within 12 Hours. It should not take 50 days to resolve the issue.

            Anyways I do hope that no more clarification is required from Mr. Upadhyay and he is also not looking for any clarification from Vodafone.

            ITS ENOUGH ……………..

            Mr. Upadhyay has already decided to move on and opt for some other network operator.

            Vodafone’s unprofessional approach for solving one Customer’s issue in turn created a negative impression amongst 2200 customers since most of the employees of the entire Pride Group uses Vodafone network.

            To conclude I would like to mention to what Mr. Upadhyay has written on his last mail that

            Remember we are in service industry and in this industry “the Customer is always the King”. If you don’t care for your Customers, your Customers too will not care about you.

            Last month my mobile bill reached more than 6000 I asked customer care how my bill reached this amount they told me you have taken Netherland services for moving abroad without any purpuse the services activated then some one called me from Vodafone told me that we are going to settlement we have reduce your bill you pay two thousand I paid him directly after that it showing that your reaming amount is same after - 2000 really it's froud vodafone
            It is with great sorrow that I write to you today regarding my voda phone service. While your service has never had problems before, recently I have experienced severe interruptions to my Internet & calls. As discussed with Mr.Rajendra & Sonali Jagtap, they committed that the services will be resumed by today eod 12AM
            I believe that because I have not received the service I am paying for active plan. I should be refunded at least a month's worth of service.

            The problem began on Dec 21st 2018, when my Internet & outgoing went down for not paying the amount on time, but i had already paid the amount on 21st Dec 2018 & my amount was deducted thrice times which was not refunded.

            I have established to my satisfaction that the problem is beyond my control, and that you are not providing the service I am paying for.                 I found this completely awkward of how a telecom giant like Vodafone would not assist us
                in tracing our mobile phones while Airtel does help out, even if we have the IMEI number and a
                police complaint.

                Is there anything in specific I need to ask for?
                My phone apparently went missing yesterday while I was on my way to office. Since then
                the phone was ringing but no one would respond - Vodafone support would just not bother
                to help out on this issue. While my other colleague who has a Airtel connection was helped
                to track his phone.

                I understand there is threat to privacy of you make this public. But you should have a process
                to check the genuinity of the case.

                When I reported a loss of mobile to my Service provider they tried tracing this (manually)
                and someone from airtel metioned that if I have the IMEI number Airtel would help customer
                trace their phones as per the legal Tracking system.

                I was asked to sms FREE to 56789 to get a free link for download of ringtones and wallpaper.I did it 3 times .My balance got reduced by Rs 9, nothing happened.I did not get any links.My GPRS is not activated.I didn't get any settings even after sending sms VL to 5258.I want an immediate assistance for this issue.I never expected such a response from a reputed company like Vodafone.My phone number is [protected].

                  They asked me to claim via email [protected]@gmail.com. That day it self I claimed for it. After that sweet emails from L.G life promotion. After that they asked me to deposit to RS.9500 in order to get stamped and notorijation by U.K fedral court. I deposited RS 9500 in their respective account. After that they emailed me with the winning certificate, stamped by U.K goverment. which is in LONDON. Again I got email from cajamar [protected]@live.com, this is email id of this bank. They send me a form, and asked me to fill this form with complete details, along with my account no. for verification.
                  RESPECTED SIR, problem is this that I have given my complete details, along with my account no.
                  AGAIN I HAVE GOT EMAIL, TO DEPOSIT RS 26000 IN THEIR ACCOUNT, IN ORDER TO GET TRANFER MY WINNING AMOUNT IN MY RESPECTIVE ACCOUNT... PLZ SIR HELP ME, I AM IN BIG TROUBLE... IN INDIA PLZ HELP ME SIR my name is Ganesh Waghmare and my Mobile No. [protected]

                    VERY SORRY TO PUT IT ON RECORD THAT FOR TWO CALLS TRIED FROM VODAPHONE (BHADRAK, ORISSA AREA) TO VODAPHONE (HYDERABAD) THOUGH NOT ATTENDED BY THE CALLED PERSON, BUT DEDUCTED @RS.15/-PER CALL. ON ENQUIRY FROM THE VODAPHONE, IT IS VERY ABSURD TO HEAR AND CLUE LESS THAT THE CALLS MADE ARE ISTD.
                    PREFIXING THE NUMBER AS TWO ZEROS.

                    CAN ANY BODY WILL HELP TO LOOK INTO THE ENTIRE CASE AND DO JUSTICE TO THE CUSTOMERS. VERY REGULARLY CALLING TO THE SAME NUMBER FROM THE SAME PHONE JUST BY GETTING THE NUMBER FROM THE MENU ALREADY SAVED AND FOR THE FAULT IN THE SYSTEM OF VODAPHONE SHOULD NOT BE PENALISED THE CUSTOMER. FOR THE CUSTOMER IT COUNTS EVERY PIE. BUT NONE OF THE FAULT THE CUSTOMER SHOULD NOT SUFFER.

                    HOPE IT WILL BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY AND TRACE OUT THE FAULT IN THE SAYSTEM AND RECTIFY IT AND ARRANGE TO REFUND THE AMOUNT, TO OUR SATISFACTION.

                    I'm living in kerala, and i am a customer of Vodafone.
                    On 25th September 2008 I saw my account balance as Rs.161.96/-.
                    But today(26th september 2008) Just after making three calls, I found my account balance as Rs.43.66/- . Each call could maximum
                    long to 2 minutes. So I was charged more than Rs.100 for nothing.
                    No extra services like caller tunes or alerts. When i searched this forum, I found hundreds of similar complaints. But I am ready to pay more potential on this as this is not the first time I am experiencing this. If justice is not on the consumers' phase I am even ready to advance for an appeal in the court, complaining the deceitful behavior.

                      I, am a new prepaid customer of Vodafone([protected]).They deducted Rs 30 from my account on basis of activation of any service(love guru alerts) which i never opted for..
                      in spite of repeated calls to there customer care i dint get good response. When i wanted to talk to supervisor no one attended my call n my call was put on hold for a long time n finally disconnected. None of the executive even bother to lodge a complaint and it's very harassing being customer of such a big telecom company.

                      and now if i tried calling customer care num 198 and 111 now IVR responding not able to serve your request. Really it is ridiculous

                      and the reply thay gave that reversal could not be processed as same has been activated by you.you can only deactivate it byUSSD *123*143# .
                      Its really strange to see such reply.this is the new method of fooling customers .better one should quit from their connection...

                        I hereby want to state that my complaint is yet to be solved. From past 3 months am visiting your outlet but its of no use and just waste of time. For my number which i had disconnected on Jan-2010 / Dec-2009, i had received a call from vodafone and suggested some offers and forced me to continue my pouring down the offers. But till now i haven't got any offers. When contacted  Vodafone Store at ITPL, Bangalore, i got a poor response from them. They took it very lightly & were too negligent about my complaint. Why did your vodafone executive mislead me by suggesting offers and why did they asked me to continue.?? Today your executive had called up and asking to pay the bill as its the last date, incase of delay in payment, he will be disconnecting itseems. Let him do watever he wants. Only during the bill payment, they will remember the customers. But for the complaint issues, they are least bothered. If this is your kind of service and If your not keeping up your words, please disconnect the above mentioned number.

                          This is in regards with my Vodafone mobile number [protected]

                          I had activated GPRS service for Rs 58 for 15 days where you get 30 MB/ day on the 11/03/2010

                          According to the service provider, I am supposed to get 30 MB of data everyday

                          On the 14/03/2010, Vodafone failed to credit 30mb of data on my account and when it was 12:00 midnight and the next calendar day started i.e: 15/03/2010; due to Vodafone not crediting the free allowances I started getting charged 10p/10kb and was charged 50 Rs for surfing and downloading.

                          When I called Vodafone and spoke with their unhelpful customer service advisor; Mr Sandeep Jayaprasad Jaiswal..he said that it is a network problem and hence the issue..and they cannot do anything about it.

                          The 30 mb was credited to me later; however the 28 mb that I had remaining on my account was taken away.

                          In this process; I lost 28mb of my data, and was charged 50 Rs extra…

                          When asked for a manager; Sandeep says that there is no manager available and I will need to call in the morning.


                          I want the following issues resolved;

                          • Register a complaint against Vodafone for poor customer services
                          • Asking customers to call later when it’s a problem on their part
                          • Crediting back my 28mb
                          • Refunding back my 50Rs because of their network problem

                            This is Vikram Sethi from Abohar (Pb.). I have a Big Grievance against
                            Vodafone for harassing my Dad, (Mr. Subhash Chander Sethi)
                            Actually,My Dad was a customer of VodafoneI.e. [protected].Customer ID-1
                            15182669. On 9 Nov. 2009, We gave a written request to Vodafone Store (Durga
                            Communications Abohar) for suspension of services without further.Female
                            Representative accepted it and made me talk to Vodafone Customer Care
                            executive for convincing me to continue! As,He flunked to convince me
                            Representative accepted my request for disconnection and told ,''Permanent
                            disconnection will be done after paying Bill''. I nodded and said I will pay
                            it,As I will receive the copy of my Bill. After that day, We didn't use
                            [protected] at all.Well, We got the Bill on 21 Nov. 2009 and We paid it all
                            (Rs. 486) On 23, Nov. 09 along with a SIM CARD,NEW REQUEST LETTER as said
                            by Vodafone customer care AND XEROX OF VOTER ID.Representative destroyed
                            that sim and told ''Your number will be disconnected permanently in few
                            minutes''.

                            On 15 Jan. 2010,I got an E-bill (ONLY RENTAL) from Vodafone. I contacted the
                            customer care and asked to update the database,But No Response! I again
                            e-mailed my complaint to numerous of times, But No body became ''HAPPY TO
                            HELP ME''.Next month again, I got an E-bill Rent to me. I again complained
                            on 15 Jan 2010 and asked to ameliorate the services, But again No response
                            at all!!!!!!!!!!!! You can see how pathetic and cruddy service your service
                            is!!!!!!!!!

                            After that , I made numerous of complaints to Mr.ARVIND DHIMAN,vodafonecare
                            [protected]@vodafone.com and other available e-mails against this wholly cruddy and
                            unprofessional Service of Vodafone!!!!!! But still no response!!!!!!!!Sorry
                            to enounce ,But Your employees have made VODAFONE a bloody -hole!!!where
                            professionalism and Integrity are still searching their place!!! Customer
                            should be coined as a King, But your Bloody incompetent and Rude employees
                            treat customers like a cut-throat dog!!

                            Limit got crossed, When,On 13 March, Afternoon, My Dad got a call from
                            Vodafone.He threatened and abused my Dad very Badly and asked to pay Rs. 400
                            immediately, otherwise, the result will be horrendous!!!,He added.After
                            talking to him, My Dad got heavy stress and hypertension.Vodafone threatened
                            and abused my Dad without any fault! Vodafone tried to assault and exploit
                            my Dad!Vodafone harassed a Heart-Patient and caused hypertension to whole
                            family without any fault! Vodafone is dreading people...I never expected
                            such a bloody rude, cheap and unprofessional Behaviour from such a Famed
                            GLOBAL BRAND! This is highly Behaviignoble as well as implausible our done
                            by Vodafone!

                            Why the hell, We should pay for what we haven't used??? Why??????Its not a
                            matter of just some 400 bucks,But a matter of above all Integrity towards
                            consumers.Its dead annoying... And such type of Behaviour towards a
                            respectable and honest person is not bearable at all! We followed all the
                            procedures whatsoever told by Durga communications to disconnect the number
                            permanently.Our Fault is what that We are honest??? Vodafone has become a
                            menace for us! Abruptly,without giving any information your people begin to
                            harass us!

                            Dearie! Today i.e. 15th March is the WORLD CONSUMER RIGHTS DAY and on this day in 1962,
                            President Kennedy had declared four consumer rights,Which you have forgotten
                            totally, Let me remind you! Right to safety- We have a right to safety,Your
                            company has become a jeopardy for us. Its yours Executive's fault that she
                            didn't disconnect the number in spite of getting written request and Full
                            payment on 23 Nov 2009 from customer and you are imposing this flub on us
                            rudely!We have a right to be informed, But no reminder or Information (via
                            email,reply,phone,sms,fax) was given to us regarding this!Were you
                            celebrating a slumber party in Vodafone ??????????????????????????I am
                            awaking you by sending e-mails asking for clarification or making complaints
                            But I get no response!!! Is this a way vodafone become HAPPY TO HELP????
                            Instead of help use ''HAPPY TO HARASS'' 3rd is I have a right to choose, I
                            chosen to change my operator due to non satisfaction and your employees
                            didn't let us opt this right yet!!! AND 4th right is to be heard, I have a
                            right to be heard! Without listening, Abruptly, Your executives tried to
                            molest us by giving threatening call! This is thorough appalling,Aberrant
                            Behaviour done by VODAFONE!After observing these rights, I entitle to be
                            redressed! Isn't it?

                            Vodafone — Disconnection and harassment

                            I’ve been a Hutch customer for I don’t know how long. Till you (Vodafone) stepped in, it was a good experience. However, the last few weeks have been harrowing, to say the least.



                            By all definition, I should be a premium customer. I had a Blackberry, a national and international roaming, an ISD call facility, a voicemail and whatever else. When I quit my job at Principal, all services on my phone were discontinued without any warning and I was literally threatened by your customer service executive (don’t remember the name) that I had to go to the store and sort this out. The reason given was the shift from an individual to the corporate account. Interestingly, before Principal (two-n-a-half-years back), I had an individual account for years with all the premium services. Hence, it is a bit ridiculous that you disconnect the phone. Just because your records aren’t straight, why I suffer.



                            Well, so far so bad. I then went to your Vodafone store at Peninsula Corporate Park and asked the customer service execs – Shanawaz and Shilpa Poojary – to do whatever was necessary (yes, WHATEVER WAS NECESSARY in capital) to activate the services since I was traveling to China and had to have an international roaming and an ISD service. I was asked to pay Rs1500 (despite as much credit in my account) and was categorically told that everything would be alright and I need not worry. The day I started my travel my phone was disconnected. Remember, this was despite my plea that I’m willing to pay and do whatever for continuing services on the phone. When I came back and approached Shanawaz again, he was cold and said services were discontinued for lack of documentation. I argued that I had got the necessary documentation and also paid some arbit amount for getting full service but he pleaded ignorance. Since, there was nothing else I could do, I waited and submitted my passport copy, signed some documents and the phone got re-connected after a couple of hours. Needless to say, my business loss was tremendous in that whole week.



                            Now, I find that my phone has been disconnected again. Your telephone executive (Samir) tells me that the reason is because the documents are in transit. After a week since the documents were submitted and the phone re-connected, how can documents be in transit? His boss, Tushar, refuses to come on line and I am told that my phone will be re-connected in another couple of hours. I don’t have to do anything, this time, apparently!!



                            What the hell is happening? I hope you realize that the only reason I am behind you is because of number portability… I can’t get the same number with another service provider. I can now understand why you guys are lobbying against it… because your service is and you know customers will switch. If you don’t want a customer why don’t you just tell him that he can’t stay. You have no right, whatsoever, to agree to render service and not do it, damn it!



                            I had to perforce buy a new connection from Airtel to switch my value-added services like Blackberry, ISD, etc. In a scenario, where companies struggle to keep premium, credit-worthy and high networth subscribers, you guys are actually subjecting them to a harrowing time. Surprise!!



                            Since, you guys have subjected me to this torture and I have had meaningful business losses, I wish to sue you and/or take you to consumer court. Haven’t done this before so it would be nice if you could advise me how to get a redressal.



                            Hoping for a reply though not really expecting it given the past experience.

                            Yes, I agree to the words of Mr.Srinivasan. I experienced the same with the great Vodafone. My new connection was activated by the Sion-Mumbai Office after receipt of my address proof, Photo ID proof. But my connection has been disconnected with in 3 days. The reason i was told, pls visit your nearest vodafone centre and your connection will be activated. I went to same Sion-Mumbai office they activated the connection in 2 hrs period. That time i have been told by the executive this is because of during address verification no body was at home!! Is this possible that we could sit at home for the executives visit? Again that inteligent executive visited the place and gave miss call to my mobile. (I thought that some one known to me is giving miss call due to some urgency) And i called him back. He replied sir, i am at your home are you styaing in the same address and other formal questions. I answered all his questions. That time i particularly asked that guy is there any other thing is required from my side pls tell me my connection should not be disconnected. He said no sir, nothing to worry verification is over for your mobile. Then next day evening i received a call from one of the call centre of vodafone. They once again confirmed me the address for billing. After 24 hours once again my outgoing calls was disconnected. I got shocked and called the customer executive. The reply i got from the (girl i dont remember the name) executive was so irresponsible. We cant do any thing your address verification is not completed because of that your mobile credit limit is set upto 500 Rs. You make an interim payment then your connection will be activated. If we want to get a credit limit of 500 rs. and making payment freequently for making our outgoing calls. What is the need of having Post paid connection? This happend 3 more times more. I requested the call centre people to tell your honerable executive to visit my place i took leave for 2 days only for that fellow ant sitting at home. They said dont worry sir he will be visiting your place in 24 hours. I was at home from Thurse day to Sunday but no one visited my place for verification. Again my connection disconnected. That was very very horrible day for me i want to make some imporated and emegency STD calls my out going service disconnected. I called the customer care executive and explained him i made online fund transfer of Rs.1600 pls activate my connection. That time all the juniors gave differenct differenct answers. One fellow said in 2 hrs your connection will be activated. 2nd person in 24 hrs your connection will be activated. At last at nignt 10 pm i spoke to one senior called "Subhash" gave me a valuable reply sorry you give me the transaction details in full i will activate your connection. I explained him pls i need to make some emergency call activate my connection til tommorow morning if am not giving the details you required de activate my connection immtly. The answer i have been said sorry sir, for this you have to approach some STD booth i can help you for this. What irresponsible answer and adivicing the customer for going to public booth??? After completion of all i received the bill for 2200 Rs. The worder full thing in that is they billed wrongly for 765 rs. extra. for that i have been tortured to pay extra as interim payment of Rs.1600. Now their reply is sorry. Now that valueable and responsible call centre senior "Subash" will pay the amount and interest for my extra payment received from me? AGAIN THEY ARE TORTURING ME NOW YOUR CREDIT LIMIT IS EXCEEDING PLS MAKE AN INTERIM PAYMENT. TILL DATE THE EXTRA BILLED AMOUNT NOT BEEN CREDITED TO MY ACCOUNT.

                            ONLY ONE WORD VODAFONE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES ARE NOT DOING CUSTOMER SERVICE JUST DEFENDING THE CUSTOMERS AND TORTURING THE CUSTOMERS. NOTHING TO SAY MORE.

                            TRAI IS MAKING STRONG THE SYSTEMS IN MSO (MULTI SERVICE ORGANISATION) BUT THEY WANT TO TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION FOR BAD SERVICE ALSO. I AM SURE THEY (VODAFONE) WON'T BOTHER FOR ANY THING.

                            IF ANY ONE READY TO SUPPORT ME I AM ALSO READY TO FIGHT AGAINST THESE SERVICE PROVIDERS.

                              He is calling my sister again and again and telling all kind of non-sense.
                              He is using to call her in the mid night.
                              Can you please provide me details of this no. and/or provide me good way of taking action against him?

                                I PURCHASED TWO PREPAID CONNECTIONS ABOUT TWO WEEKS BACK THROUGH M/S HIYA TELE COMMUNICATIONS, C-5B/36-A, JANAK PURI-PROP. SUNDEEP CHOWDHARY.
                                AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE OF TWO PREPAID LOADED NUMBERS [protected] AND [protected], I SUBMITTED THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS.

                                AFTER SOME TIME THE CONNECTION GOT STARTED. I LOADED EXTRA RECHARGE AMOUNT AND SMS FACILITY SEPARATELY IN TWO CONNECTIONS.

                                AFTER ABOUT EIGHT TO TEN DAYS THE CLIP SERVICES WERE BARRED THROUGH SMS AT MID NIGHT. I TALKED TO THE VODAFONE CARE SERVICES THROUGH ITS SUPREMO MANISH WHO THREATENED ME OF BARRING OUTGOING CALLS IF THE DOCUMENTS WERE NOT SUBMITTED, WHICH I HAD ALREADY SUBMITTED.
                                LATERON OUTGOING SERVICES HAVE BEEN BARRED THREE DAYS AGO AND LASTLY TODAY AN SMS HAS BEEN DELIVERED FOR BARRING OF INCOMING CALLS.

                                ON ENQUIRING FROM M/S HIYA TELE COMMUNICATIONS, THEY HAVE SUBMITTED THE DOCUMENTS ON THE DAY OF PURCHASE.

                                WHO IS BEHIND THIS ENTIRE EPISODE- VODAFONE CARE SUPREMO MANISH OR SOMEONE ELSE.

                                I SEEK PUBLIC OPINION TO FIGHT INJUSTICE AGAINST ERRING VODAFONE SERVICE PROVIDERS.

                                PLEASE COME FORWARD AND JOIN IN SAYING VODAFONE HAI HAI, VODAFONE HAI HAI

                                PURCHASE ANY CONNECTION IN FUTURE BUT NOT THE VODAFONE, THIS IS MY APPEAL TO ALL HONEST INDIANS.

                                  i m asking to vodafone for gprs settings for my mobile lg kg195. But they r not Giving that. They r saying that my request has been taken. but there is no solution im having.

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    I am using Vodafone prepaid connection for short time and i was pretty happy with the services till the date of
                                    [protected].I have recharged at 171 for get all vodafone to vodafon at 10 paise,i have already activated another offer that was for geting all calls at 50 paise,but before activation 171 i called at vodafone customarecare and told them about acivation of 50 paise and enquired them about activation of 171. They told me there is no problem you can activate the 171 offer, but after the activation,i used the 10 paise offer but after some days i can't get that offer. My all vodafone calls charged at 50 paise when i call the cutomare care thell told me you can not activte the offer you have already activated the 50 paise offer.
                                    Iam not satisfied the opinion of vodafone customare care they can't reply my questions and they disconnected the line.They gave me officer no ,when i call that no that was switched off.Iam really disappointed the services you are providing to your customers.
                                    Plz look the matter and activate my services.

                                      Hi,

                                      I have vodafone Post Paid Connection from 10-AUG-05 of which my services are barred. I am unabe to take or make any call. I have received the call from voafone for re-submitting my documents which they want within 24 hrs but I told them I can do only on weekends as on weekdays my office timimg didn't allow me to go to vodafone store and submit my documents.
                                      Now today they suspend my no. without intimitaing me.I have called them then they say within 2 hrs your phone will be activitaed but till now it has not been activated.
                                      I call number of times but they just put my call on HOLD rather than talk to me. This is the Mental Harrasment I ma facing as there are some urgent call which needs to be attanded by me.

                                        I am tottaly pissed off with the Vodafone services, I took over 5 numbers from somebody , where these numbers were corporate numbers . I requested 3 numbers to be converted to prepaid and 2 to remain post paid . and transfer all the numbers on my name on address. This was a corporate to individual account transfer. All the documents were given like , NOC on corporate letter head, ID proof of compney owner , and his pan card. its almost 15 days now I am going to vodafone store each and every day , nothing is done. I am tottaly sick and tired of this . Vodafone is acting like a goverement institute. I will not recomend Vodafone to anybody also I have some 8-9 Vodafone numbers running on my name that I will move to Airtel once the Number Portability starts.

                                        If anyboday really reads this posts , please help me resolve my problem
