    Dear Sir,

My wife has been using the number[protected] since 2005. All of a sudden Vodafone asks her to submit the identity proof and address proof to the nearest Vodahone Care Store. Due to personal inconveniences and being the mother of a one year old she was unable to do this within the specified time. Vodafone disregarded the relationship of nearly 5 years and did not even bother to send a representative to collect the documents. The connection was finally disconnected sometime last week. The company never bothered to note that every month hard copies of the monthly statements were being send to the communication address and the receipt was acknowledged.

My wife had to make personal sacrifices to visit the nearest Vodafone service center (100ft. road, Indiranagar, Bangalore) and get the connection reactivated. To add insult to injury, it has now come to our notice that the Vodafone store people have put this up as a new connection and therefore it doesn't have any record of the long term relationship that was maintained. This further resulted in unsatisfactory responses when we had followed up on the Mobile Connect service that we had activated sometime earlier last week.

Also, when the connection was reactivated the vodafone store representatives insisted that the previous bill had to paid in full even before the due date on the monthly statement. This was quite unreasonable as (a) it was before due date (b) the credit limit on the connection was not even used up by 50%.

After the harassment and the objectionable hazels of getting the connection re-established, it was least entertaining to know that the connection is now categorized as a new one and any additional service can come through only after the verification of the documents.

To sum it up the experience has been horrible and un-encouraging for a 5 yeared customer. Hope that you would be able to look it this and rectify and restore the track and history with your company on record for the mobile number[protected].

A reply would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    Hello Maithri,

Thanks for your response. However, your response doesn't answer any of my concerns listed down in my earlier mail. Even the clarification provided below doesn't state as to what documents that were maintained by Vodadfone on the connection were noncompliant with the DOT requirements. Or is it that Vodafone did not have necessary arrangements to store the documents or had misplaced the customer documents due to which new proofs were sought again from the customer???

When I write to a Nodal officer the least I would expect would an appropriate and detailed response.

Could you please reply to each my concerns with details?

    Thanks.

    Hello Maithri,

The reasons why I am writing this e-mail is because (most of earlier
history is available in the mails below):

    1) Not fully convinced with the kind responses on my earlier mails as they
seem to be pre-formatted and is not a specific reply to our concerns
    2) Not satisfied with the call center responses to our complaints on
multiple occasions and earlier many times we were asked to physically
    visit the vodafone stores
    3) Again on 9th March the outgoing call and other facilities were barred
on the connection [protected] and a complaint was raised with ref.
    [protected]
    4) A rebate is due for those no. of days where the call facilities were
barred in Feb 2010 due to incorrect credit limit .
    5) A rebate is due for those no. of days where the call facilities were
barred in Mar 2010 due to incorrect billing cycle
    6) Till now nobody has confirmed as to what documents were not in line
with the DOT requirements which led to this series of inconveniences and
    unsatisfactory customer service
    7) None of your customer service representatives have been to able to
re-establish the relationship number that proved the 5 year customer
lock-in status instead of new relationship number which is currently
    assigned for this connection

It would be great if you could respond to each of the points detailed
above separately instead of a two line reply which wouldn't restore the
faith that the problems/issues have been looked into.

    Thanks.

    Hello Pavana,

Quite disappointing to see that the reply was a copy of a mail response to

    another customer with number [protected].

Can you please detail as to what documents did not meet the DoT
    requirements?

Further to my e-mail on 11th Feb, the outgoing facility was barred and we
had to visit the Vodaphone Store at Indiranagar twice (once on 11th Feb
evening and again on 15th Feb) to get the services reinstated.

From your response, I do not think that the complaint has been
investigated fully and therefore I am unhappy with the response. Please
investigate fully and give me an explanation as to why we should have
undergone this annoying ordeal. Also, please provide a rebate for the
number of days for which the services where suspended. Thanks.

    Regards,

    Dear Zi,
I can relate to your concern. I did some google search on a similar issue that I am facing and came to this post. I got an SMS this noon that I need to submit my address proof at a vodafone store by 8PM today or else my connection would be suspended ! I thought it was a mistake, as my entire family is a vodafone family and I pay almost Rs.4500 every month for two connections that I have in my name (I'm a blackberry, ISD, Roaming freak ) without fail. I am a vodafone customer since 2006 February.

I called up the customer care to inquire about it, and I was given only a rude response that 'Sir, this is DOT asking us, we cant help it. its our policy to suspend your line if there is a delay in submitting your documents'. I was like 'what the hell, did DOT wake up today morning and asked for Abhilash Mana's address proof that they need it by 8PM today ?'. The response was cold. I called up their customer complaints number, and the response was more or less in the same lines. I asked them 'What if I were hospitalized ? Would you still ask me to submit the documents by 8PM today ? or what if I were not in India when the SMS came ? Or what if I was too busy today that I cant pay a visit to your office ?' The response I got was again, the same. "Sorry, thats our policy, at the most I can extend your timeline by an extra couple of hours tomorrow morning". I asked them 'Why are you threatening ? Isnt there something called timeline for customers to respond to your requests ? is it that you realized this morning my documents were missing and wanted them this evening " I got another funny response which was like "Sir we send these SMS in batches. So your number was today" ! Can you believe this ?

Well, I've nothing more to day, but I've decided to move out of vodafone. Enough of relationships and happiness to help. I've never been treated like this by any of my service providers !

There is a message before caller tunes "dial * to copy the ringtone- monthly rental 30 rs and caller tune rental 15 RS" for all caller tune subscribers.

Because of this message, the caller is not able to listen to the caller tune. Also this message should not be there as consumer is paying for its caller tune and not these kind of messages.

I have subscribed Caller tunes on my mobile for the pleasure of those who call me.I have paid for this service.
but instead of the Caller tune my friends are surprised with the
          advertisements of Vodafone caller tunes.
I have paid to consume caller tune services not to advertise vodafone services.
This is violation of the promised service and hence breach of trust of the consumer.

These vodafone guys are a real . first they will attract you towards something and then they will give u something else and then not change it or cancel it and go on billing you. this is the cheap way of earning money. I hate such kind of thing. they brag a lot about the services and network etc...

(i)Of late, accessing customer care people is very difficult
(ii) Asked for removing an ad.before the caller tune-ie-if you like this song press star. This hinders the purpose of having the caller tune also, the company ad.is done on the caller tune rental deducted from customer.(if it continues,I am going to switch over to some other provider).
(iii)Once Rs 290 was deducted from my balance. After contacting the customer care people,it was corrected with the apology. In the meanwhile,I got struck up with minus Rs290 & unable to make outgoing calls-ie-for 2days.now I feel 111 No.is blocked from contacting customer care people.OK this the right time to switch over to some other provider
            Badly affected customer

I AM WITNESSING PROBLEM WITH MY INTERNET SERVICES
            MY NO [protected]
CALLING CUSTOMER CARE FROM LAST 2 DAYS FAULTY IVR CONTENT
EVEN AFETR PAYING FOR CUSTOMER CARE 50/P FOR 3MINITES I AM NOT ABLE TO GET SERVICE I AM REALLY FRUSTATED I THINK THE COMPANY ONLY CORPORATE CUSTOMER NOT WITH RETAIL CUSTOMERS
Although your AD tell “we are happy to help you”, my particular experience with vodafone customer service is simply horrible

I wanted a Micro-Sim connection for my I-pad. Although I have two post-paid connection of Airtel, I was advised in the market to go for Vodafone connection. So I went to your Vodafone centre at L.B.S. Marg, Ghatkopar , Mumbai on 13th Feb 2011. I had chosen 99 plan for talk and 499 for data since I would be using it mainly for the I-pad. I was given a number ******7878 and given a micro-sim and was told that the sim will be activated within 2 hours and data services will be activated in 2 hours after that.

From then onwards till 18th Feb 2011, the micro sim was not activated. I followed up with vodafone call centers may be 15 times ( please check your records) . To my surprise , every time your different customer care executive(s) gave different reasons / excuses for not getting the sim activated. At last on 18th Feb 2011 , I went to the Vodafone centre and they activated the sim. It simply tells vodfone customer care executives had no information at all about even the processes. Even some time vodafone executive did not know what is a micro sim.

I was told by vodafone customer care executive ( call centre) that it takes full billing cycle to activate the internet services. It is ridiculous to know that to activate a service vodafone need full 30 days which other competitor do it in just 1 hours of time. When checked up with vodafone service centre, they said the internet services will be activated within 2 hours on 18th Feb 2011 14:00 hous. However till now on 19th Feb 2011 @ 14:30 hours, the internet services are not activated and the agent at the service centre is not reachable.

After facing all these hassles, I now decided to terminate this service and move out of Vodafone. Not this, I am also surrendering one more Vodafone connection with me out this bad experience.

            May God Bless

My name is Mr Aniruddha Sengupta & my no is [protected]. I'm using Vodafone connection for more than years. But now i'm facing problem not with Vodafone connection but with Vodafone employee named Susmita Mukherjee working in Kankei, retailer helpline in Vodafone.I was her friend but now i don't have any relation with her. She is now nurturing my number into their system without my permission & she got my address & came to my house. How is it possible? Previously she don't know my address.

It proves that she is doing whatever she feels like? I have launched complaint to Vodafone thrice. I got call from them but issue not resolved. They are saying that this is a personal matter. But this is not personal. She is checking my number into their system without my permission..................is it right? I also have privacy.
She is working in retailer helpline & i'm a customer. Why my number will pop up in retailer helpline system without my permission? This is not personal as far as the Vodafone says.
Please look into it. I want severe punishment of this types of employees who nurtures customers privacy without his consent. So it's a request to look into it.

I purchased a Fly B430 DS (Also known or marketed as Fly Circle) on 22/01/2010 from New Universal, Ultadanga, Kolkata after doing some initial research on Dual SIM phones with qwerty keypad.

On 5th February 2010 night it seems Vodafone blocked the SIM on this handset stating invalid SIM though the service was uninterrupted for almost 2 Weeks after I purchased the set. No prior intimation was sent by Vodafone about this sudden interruption.

The cell contains two IMEI numbers ([protected] and [protected]) which are valid IMEI numbers issued by Mobile standards alliance of India.

I tried to call up Vodafone Customer Care a couple of times but the support folks couldn't provide any resolution.

Can somebody tell me what the HELL is going on???

I had trust on Vodafone for being a wonderful Service Provider and I recommended Vodafone strongly so many times to my friends & colleagues. Now it seems I need to rethink and should share my current experience with such a so called Great Cellular Service Provider and a Hungary Based brand named Fly!!

Hope Vodafone & Fly guys are listening!!!

M/s Vodafone is giving Vodafone Live service in all connection even though no one has asked for.

I am using unlimited plan of blackberry service on my mobile, during the work we used to open the internet browser and can not check every time that whether blackberry browser was opened or Vodafone live browser opened.

Vodafone had charges Approx Rs.800/- for so called Vodafone live use.

Every consumer can not recognize difference of blackberry and Vodafone for him internet use is internet use and he has never asked for Vodafone live and using internet presuming that he is using from unlimited blackberry plan which he has subscribed.

How M/s Vodafone active their GPRS plan called Vodafone live without concern of all consumer and makes bills for such a huge amount.

Can M/s Vodafone can be questioned for this as it is in relation to all general public because they are charging for such service from numbers allotted to drivers and peons and helpers who even don’t know what is Vodafone live.

I am being harassed by vodafone company for non payment of bill on account of mobile number [protected], while in reality, the entire outstanding amount has been cleared in the month of March 2009. Vodafone did not close my account inspite of repeated emails to them. When I moved out of India, I wrote to corporate care, Kolkata (since I had a corporate connection) in the month of March 2009 asking to let me know the entire outstanding. They responded with their reply and asked me to pay an outstanding amount of 3734.43 for the billing cycle of 21.02.09 to 20.03.09 and also an email from Mr Saptarshi Saha on 21st March 2009of Vodafone corporate care, Kolkata confirming that as per my previous email they have closed my vodafone account. I paid the entire outstanding by 30th March 2009.

Now after a year, vodafone is sending me bills to my old kolkata house and their agents calling up my family members in India and threatning them. After coming to know about this, I sent an email to vodafone corporate care, Kolkata on February 4th 2010, asking for an explanation about this, but till date they are yet to get back on this issue even thought they are supposed to reply within 2 business days.

                    Hello,

My mails are self explanatory. Please revert with your reply at the earliest. I would also like to add that Purnendu Pramanik from vodafone kolkata headoffice with number [protected] recently spoke to my brother as if he is the customer who has defaulted on his bills.

I last used my cell phone on 12th February 2009 for which you billed me till the 20th March 2009,( the usual billing cycle) for which I made a payment in March 2009. All my earlier mails provided a request for cancelling or closing the cell phone account with your company. I have settled abroad for the last one year, but it seems the phone billing never stopped even after my clear communication to your company.

Inspite of all these communication, if you have not settled or closed my account, that is not my fault. It only shows your inefficiency and your way of handling outgoing customers. I also have a feeling that their is a lack of communication between your internal departments.

I had myself written to corporate care department to know my outstandings and settling my dues once and for all and had done so in the month of March 2009. This is February 2010, and your agents say that my account is not closed.

I am writing this mail to get a clear understanding of what went wrong with my cell phone account, that you are now sending collection agents to my old house in Kolkata and also calling up my family and harassing them.

When I write to your department, you all send a very standard reply, maybe not even going through the pain of reading the entire mail. But if you do not stop sending any bills or using your agents to intimidate my family members, I will definetely take this matter up to get a redressal of my complaint.

                    Regards

                    Hi,

It has come to my notice that you have been sending vodafone bills to my earlier address in Kolkata inspite of clearing and settling all your dues against my mobile phone number [protected].

I am attaching the file (at the end of this email) which you had sent me as a final settlement for vodafone bill. I would once again like to clarify that as per your final estatement dated 25th March I made a payment of Rs.3734.43 vide HSBC, ultadanga cheque against the statement dated 21.03.09 for the period 21.02.09 to 20.03.09. My understanding was I was clearing all my dues and would not be sent any further bills once I settle my dues of 3734.43.Your emails clearly stated that amount(Mr Abhishek Singh's mail) and also the fact that my account was closed.

After all these months, I came to know that my family members are being harassed by your collection agents who keep going to my old address and also calling them up to clear the dues.

I am totally at a loss to understand this kind of behaviour from a company of repute like yours. I have been a corporate customer of Vodafone for more than six years and I never had any problem with you. But this kind of treatment is leaving a bitter taste in my mouth. When I had clearly made my intentions clear about paying all dues as per your statement and then promptly settling all my dues as per your communications, why am I being harassed like this? Its causing immense mental agony to me and my family.

I would expect an explanation to this as early as possible.

                    Regards

                    Somali Sengupta

                    Dear Sir,

Thank you for responding to my email.

I would request you to let me know my total outstanding till March 19th (The date you have formally closed my connection) so that I can make a final settlement.

Since I have settled abroad, it will be difficult for me to send you cheques in part. Therefore I wish to make a full and final payment of all my outstandings.

If you go through my bill details you will observe that I have not been using my phone for more than a month. I have been a regular user of your services for nearly six years and have hardly defaulted in my payments. Request you to please bear this in mind while billing me.

                    Looking forward to your cooperation.

                    Hello Sir/Mam,

I have a postpaid connection with the number [protected]. My plan was 149 which consist 500MB 2G data/month, 500 + 100 min call(local/STD) and 100 free SMS. Just receive my bill which is showing a huge amount of 681.74. Last month bill was also not convincing.

Last month I noticed that my connection plan was automatically changed to 249 without any intimation. I raised a complain through customer care phone call, they confirm that my plan was moved to the previous plan i.e 149.

My bill was paid by auto pay from my bank account every month. today I forced to stop that standing instruction as I am paying more.

Today I visited one of your vodafone store located on "Salt Lake sector - V, kolkata-700091" and meat Miss Sweta. She told me to pay more than Rs800.00 to change my connection to POSTPAID TO PREPAID. I asked her why should I pay like this. In reply instead of giving me any proper answer she became very rude. I didn't got any suggestion as well. Please take step before your business ruined by this kind of employee.

Please understand my concern and let me know why should I pay like this and currently in which plan I belongs to? It should be 149 as previous (500MB 2G data/month, 500 + 100 min call(local/STD) and 100 free SMS).

Please reply me asap better I receive a call from your side as I have also network issue, you can also released both of my problem.

Please do the needful asap because I don't want to pay the late fee and this is very urgent for me as well.

                    Thanks

I am corporate customer of Vodafone. We are paying rental of 199 rs per month to afford a mobile phone connection. My service provider holds a responsibilty of giving me good signals which atleast allows me to take or make calls. for one week there have been no signals. Vodafone didnot communicate the issue. They could have sent messages to inform us when the issue is going to be resolved. As customer committment they should have got legal signal towers.
For past week , i have been mentally harassed for not being able to be in touch with my parents relatives and friends. I missed so many calls which were important for my future as well.

I had put in a request on 26th of DEC 2009 for my number [protected] at Vodafone store, (sector 11, panchkula, haryana) to be changed from post paid to prepaid . On 6th Jan 2010, I was given a new SIM CARD with the same number.
On 7th Jan 2010 after I cleared my past bills and done all other paper formalities at the Vodafone store (sector 11, panchkula, haryana), I was told that within 4-6 hours my number will be activated. After 7 hours when I call the Vodafone helpline from my Landline, they say that now it will take 24 hours for my number to be activated.
Moreover, when I call on helpline number 111( which happens to be toll free) from another Vodafone number, it says that "please press 3 for any other services". As soon as I press 3, the call gets disconnected and I am not able to talk to the helpline number to any of the customer care representative.
It is impossible to talk to the customer care representative by calling from a Vodafone number. The helpline service seems to be non functional.

Sir, I took a sim card of Vodafone [protected]. While issuing this sim card, I was asked to pay deposit of Rs. 300 which is refundable in case the sim is returned. But no receipt was issued to me for having received this amount but the staff in the customer care center at Shimoga stated that the amount will be shown in the account. I was not focusing of getting refund since I thought I cannot return the sim. But I have to change my opinion when I looked into the first bill which was hefty. By the time I received the bill, it was already 15 days over and I took another chance to see the other bill. Even the second bill was also hefty. I immediately surrendered the sim and issued a check for the entire bill amount upto the date of check i.e., 9-9-09. But the staff have not returned the deposit. To my surprise, another Rs.344 was debited to my account on ECS on 22-10-09. When I asked about this, the staff told that the same will be reversed. Till today I have not received this amount inspite of repeated approaches in person. The staff are unable to give anything in writing but they use to say false promises. They have no guts even to given the phone numbers of their higher-ups. I have read that prizes have been awarded to the VODAFONE for best achievement in sorting out the consumer grievances. Though the company has all infrastructure to have better communications with all its staff and units, there is no reason for any delay in returning the amount. The staff are not empowered even to issue a receipt for having received the deposit nor an endorsement on behalf of the company on the exact status of complaints. Hello VODAFONE, do you have courage to surrender the prize awarded to you?
                          Hi Surindra,

As per your request the number [protected] has been cancelled & the refund cheque has been couriered to the billing address. Do e-mail us at vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com for any further queries. We’d be happy to help.

                            Dear Sir,

Myself Manoj Meena, I am using Vodafoneservices from last two months with no. [protected] and with a very bad feeling I want to say that I am very much unsatisfied with the services.
More than two years I used Vodafone (Hutch) postpaid in Rajasthan but never faced such type of ignorance from the customer care services.

My last date of payment of the bill is 11th on each month but before getting the hard copy of the bill, around 28th or 30th the messages start coming for depositing the amount, and intimating about the credit limit reached.
And Barr the outgoing just by sending a SMS, not even a single call.

If there are such credit limits then why would customer take the postpaid services? Its better if he use prepaid.
And why they not mention all these conditions before handing new connections?

I called to customer care on 3rd Feb to send the executive for collecting the bill amount from my billing address, as the Vodafone store is 1.5 kms from my office and I couldn’t get much time to go there. (Request no-[protected]).
But on the same date my outgoing services were barred, then again I called at CC (111) and talked regarding this, they activated the services and said that the executive will come in day 1 or 2 at your place for the collection, and now your services will not be affected.

On 4th of Feb. I got a call from no [protected] and [protected] regarding to the collection saying that on 5th Feb our collection agent will come at your place and collect the amount around 12 noon, and after sometime I experienced that again my outgoing was stopped, and I couldn’t made my calls also some of were very important.

Next day on 5th I again called at customer care around 12 and requested to send the collection agent as soon as possible (request no. [protected]), he said that your services will activated within 2 hrs after payment.

Your collection agent came at 1:30pm almost after 50 hrs of my request (required time is 48 hrs as per your say). But the services were not activated then around 4 pm I called at customer care and, again I told him whole story, but the only response which I got is, that we haven’t got your payment yet and the services will be activated in 24 hrs as soon as we get the payment.
Again I called at 6 pm and the same thing repeated, now your executive asked me for 48 hrs and talked rudely when I asked for CRM’s contact no.

So I decided to visit at your Vodafone store, and went to munirka’s mini store and again explain all the details, this made me more irritated to explain the same thing 4th time. Their again I got a complaint no [protected]. He also was not able to solve the problem, and asked me to deposit some amount to activate the services by saying this amount will be adjusted in your next bill. I refused because it’s the fault of your collection agent, who has not deposited the amount in your office after his commitment,
                            Why should I suffer?
Then this executive said that the services will activate with 72 hrs.

See how ridiculous is this, that in the same company different executives are saying different things.

Sir, I am a Govt. Employee and working in United India Insurance Corp. Ltd. as Administrative Officer. My billing address is my office address only (ie D-24/E-25, Himalaya House, K.G. Marg, CP, New Delhi). I already declared to customer care to increase my limit up to Rs 2000/- in the first month only.
So I think there should not be any such question of credit limit.
I had to make important calls which were not possible because of Vodafone’s poor services and this caused a loss of my performance, also loss of my company’s performance.
As yesterday I suffered a lot of mental pressure which caused loss in my concentration and in my performance. I left my other works also because of the headache.
I couldn’t even make other important calls to my family and friends.

Many times I asked to the customer care to provide the contact no of CRM, or any senior level executive, but they refused. Even I searched on your website and didn’t find any contact no of your Okhla office.
There is no such option to contact to the senior level management in case of emergency.

Today at 9:52 am (6th Feb) I talked to 1 of the executive name ankit gupta who talked in a very rude manner and refused to submit my complaint and request against this.

Today it is almost more then 24 hrs now, I couldn’t use my facilities of outgoing, after the payment of my bill.

I have One more complaint regarding to 1 of my prepaid no [protected]. I activated Vodafone mobile connect on 8th of Dec 2009, the sum of Rs 270/- were deducted from my account , but only one single day I used that facility, after that number of times I called to customer care but they never gave me good response regarding that. The executives couldn’t ever understand what the Packet Data is!
More then 15 days they barred my no to call on customer care, so I did complaint using one of my friend’s no. but never got the solution.

That time I also thought to go for consumer court, but this time I going to submit a complaint against the company. Coz I suffer a lot of mental pressure and problems.
This is the WORST I have ever experienced.
                            Rs 50,000/- as fine.
And this is the only what I want to convey to you through this message.
Please take the right steps regarding this.

                            Thanks,
                            Manoj Meena

Last Month I received a Bill of Rs. 644 and upon taking a look, I noticed that majority of it was coming from SMS usage. I had taken 200 free SMS for Rs. 45 plan however my usage was more than that. So I called Vodafone Customer Care service and asked them to suggest me a plan so that I dont have to pay such a huge bill. They told me that there are two plans for me 1) for Rs. 100 I can get 2000 SMS and 2) for Rs. 129 I get 15000 National wide SMS. I asked them if anything else between 200 to 15000 SMS is available but they said only those two are available for me. So I told them to put me on Rs. 129 plan. They asked me to send an SMS "can SMS45" and "ACT SMS129" to 111 and they will place me on that plan. I usually keep getting several Vodafone SMS everyday so I didnt take a look at the SMS they responded.

Now when today I received a Bill, I noticed that they have charged me Rs. 715 for SMS. So I called them and they told me that my account was not eligible for Rs. 129 plan and hence it was not activated and they had sent me an SMS mentioning the same. I asked them that why was I given the option of Rs. 129 if I was not eligible for the same and they mentioned that there might be some miscommunication however now they cannnot do anything and I must pay this Rs. 715 bill. My total bill came to Rs. 1344 which is highest. I completely relied on customer care people because I had specifically mentioned my requirement of higher number of SMS and they had given me a choice of selecting Rs. 129 and now after 715 SMSs, they are telling me that it was never activated and I was told about it by an SMS. They cancelled my 200 free SMS service however never activated 15000 free SMS.

This is completely ridiculous. I have recently returned back from USA and that's the reason why when I was not aware of various SMS schemes, I had called them to inquire about best SMS plan for me and they represented wrong information to me which costed me Rs. 715 extra. Ofcourse they have told me that they are not going to take any further action on it and that means I will have to pay out of my pocket but this pass the message to me and everyone who ever reads this is that " NEVER TRUST WHAT VODAFONE CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE SAYS CAUSE YOU MAY BE CHARGED MORE LATER SAYING THAT THEY DONT KNOW WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE SCHEME AND WHO IS NOT"

In short ridiculous experience with VODAFONE. I guess it's part of "WELCOME TO INDIA". If this was USA, they would not have charged me any money because of their misrepresentation about SMS plans to customer and failure to mention if I was eligible for the plan or not".

It is very much unfortunate to write this.

Let me explain.I have been a Vodafone user for 5 years. From 31st December 2009,I have been in trouble of network disconnection in my residential locality only.I gave 4 complaint.Firstly Vodafone customer support were not ready to agree that there was any problem with their service, they requested me to change my SIM card. I did the same but it didnt help. When i approached Vodafone again , they said there could be a problem with my handset. I tried to convince them that with the same handset I got fine service outside my locality. Then they said they'll fix the problem and gave me dates by when the problem would be solved. One Vodafone network person came to my home to check the network coverage and diagnosed a coverage problem and said it'll be fixed within a week. 4th of Feb was the final deadline they gave me after giving me 3 other deadlines.
Today , 5th of Feb 2010, i have the same problem : Cannot call/receive calls which is giving me lots trouble and if I complain again, i'll have to relate the whole problem right from the beginning and they'll give me another deadline. There is no way to track the progress against my complaint.
                                My vodafone number is [protected].
Kindly look into my problem. Hoping it'll be solved soon.

                                Thanks

I am really upset with your Vodafone sevice as I am still getting threatning calls from your collection agencies and pretending themselves as lawyer and police from the mobile numbers [protected] and [protected] respectively for the last 3 years from all different numbers where as I have already sent all the documents to the company for all unauthorised transaction from my credit card for the two different post paid numbers.I still have all the documents and mails forwarded to vodafone customer care and seeking for help
