This is regarding my payment of 500 rs made to vodafone to migrate my mobile no ([protected]) from pre paid to post paid,
as due to poor service of vodafone executive and customer service center people and wrong commitment, i have asked to cancel my request
but the charges to get activated this service i.e Rs 500, i have already paid to vodafone company,'now becoz i didn't avail this service,so kindly refund my money as soon as possible.

even i also want to update you my feedback on your service.

1- The day i made request,vodafone sales executive ranged me no of time in a same day to collect my documentation for the same,where in i have already been communicate to him that i am not having my residence proof,but he said he don't required any Address proof, In the late evening he took my application form.

2- At the time of filling application form, He asked me for my address then i said you write down my permanent address which is my father address but i don't stay there. he said kindly provide same address and he didn't ask for the proof.

3- when the CPV guy came for visit on my father address, he called me, then i confirmed him that this is my father house and i don't stay over.

4- after this i received a call from vodafone employee person (MR Alok Ranjan) Mobile - [protected] and asked me for the same, then he confirmed me that if i send him my present address Prof then he will activated my post paid connection, i did send him my address scan copy over his mail id, after this he stoped picking up my call,

5- even i visited vodafone care office at vikasmarg but they were also passing the balls and showing helpless on my issue.

6- even i am trying your nodal officer no mentioned [protected] but no one pick up pone.

After all this, I request to TATA Indicom and they served me in such a manner that in 2 hours i got my connection and service at my door.

    failure to activate SIM in 48 hours

    I took a duplicate SIM card from Vodafone on 12 December 2009. This was done since i had put a block on the existing SIM after having had my mobile stolen.

    Vodafone failed to activate the SIM card for 48 hours after committing a 2 hour deadline. They responded to my calls to their Customer Care department by asking me to call again or wait for an additional hour. On 12th Vodafone committed that they will resolve the issue by...

    Dear Sirs,

    This is Prakash Srinivasan, working for WNS Global Services, Perungudi, Chennai writing to you a complaint against VODAFONE. I have purchased a Blackberry from Vodafone bearing following details:-

    Model: 8310
    Date of Purchase:25-Oct-2009
    Cheque #: 508971, Axis Bank, Adyar
    Amount: Rs. 9,990/-
    Mobile Number:[protected]
    Blackberry plan: Rs. 299/-

    Actual problem:- I had regular issues with the battery not getting charged even if it is charged for hours. It showed indication for charging but never charged. Checking a message would bring down the battery charge by 50%

    This was reported on the 20th day from date of purchase to Ramaswamy, Vodafone coordinator allocated for our Organization. I got a commitment from Ram that there would not be any issues replacing the phone. Since I did not hear from him for the next 1 week, I had complaint it on the 29th day (still within warranty) demanding for a replacement. 2 days later, I was asked to submit a complaint to VODAFONE email address by which the replacement warranty was over.

    As per warranty conditions, replacement should have been made.immediately after the problem was reported as I as a Customer paying Rs. 9990 did not want a faulty set to be given as there are a lot of sentiments attached to this.

    I have handed over my blackberry to Mr. Ravindran as advised by VODAFONE staff to Ram on 24th November – NO acknowledgement from anyone so far on the replacement till 30th.

    Last communication I received was on 7th Dec stating that they are looking at the issue and would get back once they receive information - Still waiting for a proper communication.

    I want a replacement - a brand new blackberry to be dispatched to my house with all the accessories clearly listed.

    b) Ravindran - Collection agent - Mobile collected from my office without acknowlegement letter
    b) Anirudh - Relationship Manager - Corporate, Vodafone Essar South Limited
    c) Prabhu Joshua
    d) Vikas Soundararajan

    Now, I receive a bill from them asking to pay them the monthly charges for Rs. 500 odd. The only good thing that has happened when asked for my bill payment, Vikas was ready to waive that off as the phone is lying with Vodafone and I am not responsible!

    I have been cheated, disrespected all through. I have gone through a big turmoil of calling many people many times unnecessarily spending a wholesum from my pocket. I urge for JUSTICE.

    Blackberry — faulty set

    Hi ,
    i have bought my BB 8520 on 26th april 2010 and from the day one its camera is pathetic and the "A" key button is not working i called up to BB service centre and they said that thay cant do any thing in this jus want to know what shud i do now.... as its warranty is about to expire..

        i have purchased the sim of vodafone prepaid the no. is [protected] fifteen days back the sim was activated , the required documents were submitted. But the sim is deactivated and the outgoing calls facility is not working this has caused harrasment and mental tension to me, apart from financial losses.

            Hello,

            I just activated a prepaid Vodafone SIMin Kolkata. The promotional rate was supposed to 50p/min for Local and STD calls. Instead I was being charged at some absurd rate of Rs. 2/min. When I tried to call Customer Service to determine the issue, they said they could not verify my number was activated and wen I tried to request more details the CSR started avoiding my questions to make is an increasingly frustrating experience. FInally they cut me off when I frankly I started letting my anger show in my speech.

            I then went back to the reseller and he determined that the issue was a Server Failure on Vodafone's part. My line was then activated with a promo request and additional funds. He told me that I would need to wait 3 hours for the promo to take effect. Another absolutely ridiculous delay. I then called Customer Service again and tried to establish that the right rate would be applied after the 3 hour time frame. The CSR then claimed he was not obliged to inform me what my rate was. "Amra aapnakey boltey baadho naa" and that I should know what my rate was. I told him I knew that, but I was being charged at Rs 2, so I wanted to confirm after paying the extra money to get the promo rate, I would be charged fairly. He then started getting uppity, so I started getting more angry asking them if this is what they meant by "Happy to help". He then just cut me of..... set of rude and uncouth ignoramuses. I am getting a new pre-paid after I finish the balance on this card. They are not getting any more money out of me for this kind of customer service,

            My name is prem singh my vodaphone no. is [protected].my another no contact is.[protected].

            I have purchase this no on 21st dec09 and deposit my photo id and address id proof after 7 days my no. was disconnected.

            Your customer care person told us you have not deposited document.then again we deposited our document on 5th jan at vodaphone store "Sanjay Telecom" alwar.

            I have called a lot and talked with Mr. Sanjay.He gave me assurance your no. will be start todays in any situation. on 5 jan.Then we give reminder on 8th jan 3 times and on 9 th

            jan 2 time.Finally my no. is still disconnected. This is the first time i have got worst service from vodaphone.Please see this matter.

              Voda fone cheeted me as, Vodafone offered as below

              Enjoy all local calls @ 75 paise on a weekly rent of Rs. 5
              To activate send 75 to 144
              To deactivate send CAN <space> LOC75 to 144
              This service cannot be clubbed with other local tariff vouchers

              when subscribed, rental debited Rs.7 and call become @75 / Mintue while in add it is clear mention local calls at FLAT @ 75 Paise per call.
              Beware all the users of Vodafone

                Hi Vodafone Care,

                I have taken a new post paid connection bearing mobile no [protected] in Hyderabad at Genpact Hitech City, a couple of months back during Diwali, when Vodafone announced an offer to choose two Reebok gifts from a set of (goggle, watches, bag or Reebok tracks ) on the receipt of my first bill. I would have to courier my bill to Vodafone and they would be sending me the gifts as per their plan.

                I have paid around 300 + as a advance for the receipt of these gifts as per their offer, now their executive Shiva ([protected]) says that as my name was not updated in the database, I cannot get the goodies from Reebok.

                This is cheating on the part of Vodafone to assure goodies take advance payment towards them and come back with silly explainations that my name is not updated in the Database and stuff.

                I would like to ask Vodafone from refraining from cheating people in guise of offers which they cannot honour.

                Please provide me the Reebok gifts or pay me back my money with damages and interests for the three months.

                I too had a smiilar problem with vodafone...Once you pay them the money u can do anything about it. Its just a waste of time going there to file a stupid complaint. Instead of happy to help ...It shud be " happy to help you help urself ".
                Im goin to post the gift voucher today. I hope they send me the gift. And i hope they dun make any excuse thats its too late. They all piss e off.

                  - I have list of problems in your last 2 bills. I am given you in writing because instruction given on phone or in Santacruz (West) gallery are not followed.

                  1. On 18th - 22nd September, 2009 I have visited twice and told in your Santacruz (West) gallery to cancel all additional services except Cricket alerts But even in this month, I was receiving Beauty tips/Bible.
                  2. In October told to stop all services, but I am charged Rs. 842/- in November bill for no downloads.
                  3. I had asked for GPRS charges/Packages thrice but not replied till date, by phone as well as in gallery.
                  I think you are keeping me in dark on many things.
                  4. Major problem is my bill has come Rs. 5865.04 when I received this amount SMS, I had asked for explanation
                  on your customer care number 111 immediately, and later visited your Gallery for explanation. But not got
                  proper feedback. I asked them to see previous months bills, Why they were not bothered to send me alert message
                  when bill overshooted? When they send unuseful 50 messages in a month.


                  Kindly let me know why I should pay for services which they were told to stop and your negligence.

                  Why such a mess in your services.
                  .

                  Now from 2-3 days you have stopped my all services, I hope you make proper changes in my bills.

                  I hold a Vodafone Prepaid that i converted to a corporate account 3 months back. Now my account is converted to the corporate account BUT the charging is still being done at abnormal & high rates.
                  The people at customer care know nothing at all.
                  I am clueless.

                  Vodafone — Receiving improper service in spite of several reminders

                  As on 15/03/2008 I got my prepaid connection converted into postpaid after an Extv visit at my place. The Co. disconnected my Sim on 19/03/2008 without any intimation. The customer care extv assured that it will be activated within 48 hrs. I went personally to Goregaon Vodafone gallary & collected new Sim, which got activated within 48 Hrs. But I had to struggle for almost 5 days to get the work done.
                  Even I experienced the postpaid connection very insafe. I registered for Ebilling, they provided me the password. When I tried to log in, it remarked as ID disabled. Again I had to phone Customer Care. As on 05/04/2008 they said they will send me the bill by email but it is not received so far.
                  Since Hutch is converted into Vodafone, I am facing problems. I have to struggle behind the customer care Extv. till they solve the problem. Now I have asked them to discontinue my post paid connection into prepaid (as I was satisfied with prepaid connection for last 3 yrs). But these problems(unnecessarily raised by the co. itself) irritates a lot.
                  My full name is Sai Ramanuja Varun Nanduri and my mobile number is [protected]. There is some virus in my mobile which keeps sending some gprs requests. I have talked to the customer care executive and was guided to send an sms to deactivate my gprs service. I did as asked to do by the executive.Inspite of me sending the message the service was not stopped and am being billed for the gprs request sent from my mobile. I have sent the message on 20 of Jan 2009 and every time i talk to the customer care executive they ask me to resend the message and no action is taken against my complaint raised and am being billed. The company is just taking the customers for a ride . Also there is some serious network related issues the service is not at all good. During 7.00pm to 10.00 pm there is a serious network jam which they say is my handset problem. I have talked to other vodafone customers who also complain the same .
                  that i have a postpaid connection with vodafone cellular company, where the vodafone raised me a monthly bill, as per my estimate the vodafone charges more in their bill of my monthly call charges near about 20 to 30 %, when i checked call details of the bill raised by Vodafone, number also matched, but i doubt that their have some problems by which vodafone charges me more than my actual calls,

                  if it so then how they do it,

                  please send me solution how i can proved it that vodafone charges me more,

                  Vodafone — Improper Billing

                  I have sent complaint to VODAPHONE for over billing on 13th and informing them about the same and lodge the complaint on customer care also but they didn't responded. Their Money Recovery department is calling us to pay the bill and did not solved my problem and disconnected the outgoing calls. I paid Rs. 700
                  Now again my outgoing is closed and the due date is 21 April'09.
                  This is really a harresment from the part of service proivder.

                  In spite of many reminders to Vodafone Customer Care Department, since I took up the service in February 2009, the Mobile Service Provider (Vodafone) sends My Latest Postpaid Mobile Bill with a Summary Sheet of the Previous Month's Bill.

                  Request the appropriate Authorities to do the needful for the same ASAP.

                  Vodafone had incorrectly billed me &quot;Call Forwarding Charges&quot; on all incoming calls (inspite of having none forwarded).
                  Numerous complaints to their customer care provided only temporary solution.

                  Even though the bills have been paid timely and only this disputed amount has been kept on hold and also intimated to Vodafone time and again, they have the audacity to block the number and restrict services on my phone.

                  This is like I have to pay for something that I have not done. Not only that, but by restricting services on my number, Vodafone are holding me to ransom. It is an indirect threat to pay up with an implicit assumption that the consumer can be charged for anything that can be extorted.

                  Some definitive action needs to be taken against such malpractices. Not only is it an improper method of doing business, but also it reflects the cavalier attitude of a company of Vodafone&#039;s stature.

                    Next month you don't get the paper bill in the post.

                      I want to draw your kind attenttion towards irreguar opening since last six month and regularly closing of vodafone mini store since last two days. The Mini store at Beawar namely Krishna Corporation is continue closed since last tow days. It is also closed today.Due to that I am facing great problesms perputally .
                      Sir , It is a proud for being a member of such a great and universal telecom company since last eight years continually.
                      I am also honoured by Vodafone and delared prime customer from time to time by Vodafone Rajasthan.

                        Subject: Wrong information provided by Vodafone Executive regarding postpaid connection.

                        This is with reference to the call i recieved from yVodafone office providing information on STD Plan @ Rs. 299 per month. I was informed that on taking a new vodafone postpaid connection for monthly rental of Rs. 299, i will get the following benefits:
                        1) Talktime worth Rs. 299
                        2) free vodafone to vodafone local calls for Rs. 50
                        3) Unlimited free calls to any 1 vodafone mobile number, STD or local.

                        As i was keen on taking a plan for lower STD call rates, I agreed to take this connection. Vodafone executive came at my residence on 7th December, 2009 to get:
                        1) identification proof: I have submitted the ID Card for Bar Council of Delhi.
                        2) photograph.
                        3) Form filled up.

                        I paid 250 Rs. for the same and i have receipt for that amount. I was given a blank sim card.

                        On 8th December 2009, i got a call from their executive asking me for details with regard the number on which i want unlimited free calls. On telling him the number, i was being told that it is not valid on STD calls. On informing that this was what i was being told and this is the only reason why i was willing to change my service provider from Idea to Vodafone, he told me that he will inquire and call back.

                        I did not recieve any call and my calls are not being answered.

                        This is a clear indicator of bad customer service. I would like to tell you that this act on part of the company is causing me a lot of trouble. I am tensed about submission of ID proof anf fear its misuse. Also after paying 250 Rs, all i get is a blank SIm Card and no connection has been issued as yet. they said it will be done within 72 hours and that has not happened till now.

                        I seek redressal in the form of the activation of the scheme as promised. They are not taking my calls and have not responded to my mail as well. This is clear violation of my right as a consumer and they have an obligation to rectify the mistake they commited on their part.

                          I have purchased one vodafone prepaid SIM card carrying contact no.[protected] and sim card no.[protected] on 06.12.09 with all the relevant document like photo identity card, passport size colour photo, duly signed application form. But till now it is not activated. I have submitted all the document to a shop namely "Great India Movies at SCF-88, G Floor, Sector-14, Huda Market Gurgaon (Haryana), Telephone no.[protected], email Id [protected]@yahoo.co.in. I have contacted with them so many times but allways they said, they have deposited to Vodafone and vodafone customer care said they have not received. That's why it is not activated till now. Kindly look after that matter.

                          Vodafone Connection — sim not activating

                          i have taken new voda connection on last saturday, ten days back. i paid 300 rupees to the agent and he gave me the sim with no[protected]H3.FOUR DAYS BACK AN AGENT CAME FOR ENQUIRY AND TOOK ALL THE DETAILS AND HE TOO TOOK THE PHOTO AND ADRESS PROOF COPIES AND INTIMATED THAT MY NO WILL BE ACTIVATED WITHIN 24 HOURS, BUT MY SIM IS NOT ACTIVATED STILL.SO SOME ONE DO SOMETHING...

                              My Vodafone Mobile No.[protected]. Yesterday (09.12.09) I got a continuous call from Vodafone (call from Mobile No. [protected] to my another mobile no.[protected] - between 5.53 pm and 6.28 pm.). Yet I didn’t have any pending payment for my mobile no.[protected]. Some unavoidable circumstances this time only I am late to pay my bill (ie., Rs.400/- only). Yesterday (09.12.09) when I was in my office, one girl from vodafone spoke about my bill payment. Yesterday she spoke with me with very indecent words. I felt very hurt. She was disturbing my time very much useless. I don’t like to pay my bill because of this nuisance call from Vodafone.

                              If you not take necessary action regarding this call from that useless girl (Vodafone), I will withdraw my Vodafone connection.

                                please solve the signal problem at Srinagar colony , hyderabad. I have been complanining regarding this for the past one month , and since Hutch is changed to vodafone ,
                                we are neither receiving any calls, nor able to call anyone , unless we try it for 20 -3 0 times
                                its really digusting.. due to this we are missing many important and emergency calls, and sometime later we get message from that we have missed calls at so and so time
                                This problem is not just at the particular area, but also in most parts of Hyderabad..
                                hence i request the officials to kindly take an immediate action
                                I am using Vodafone (Hutch earlier) for a long time, Suddenly from yesterday afternoon my mobile was not getting the Network signal, initially i thought it was the problem with my mobile, but all other sims were working except Vodafone Sims. And even my add on number from the same company is also not working. I called the customer care to rectify it they told it is network problem and may take 24 hours to one week time. What a great service. While we pay the bill one day late the charges are 50 Rupees per each connection, how should we claim back now for not having the service for the last two days.....

                                Nokia 5300 — supporting only hutch network

                                I have bought nokia 5300 model, when i was in USA, it was working fine there.. now i am back to india, my nokia 5300 model seems to be not detecting any network except hutch. Cud pls help me in this regards.

                                Im severely suffering due to lack of signal in my area...all the other networks are providing full signals while vodafone doesnt provide me a single bar on my mobile..there r 100"s of consumers in our area suffering from same problem..so please solve it very soon

                                I could say Vodafone customer care - chennai is worse than any other providers. I was trying to get GPRS and MMS activated on my nokia 5300 since 1 Week (This is actually very simple and should work by sending a simple SMS). Finally one person has sent me manual settings and steps to get the same. I have done that. What I could see, there is no signal from then, even I reset the settings to normal settings and eventhen I dnt see any change :( I tried calling customercare and the response is it would be rectified by morning 6'O Clk if I am not getting these settings I can go and do a legal complaint against. I didnot get signal yet, when questioned back they say it would take 1 week ???????????
                                I really got pissed off with these guys and need a solution. Can someone help? Pls

                                I have a Vodafone connection. I live in the heart of the Hyderabad city, in English and Foreign Languages University, Tarnaka where Vodafone has got severe signal problems. Often, for Vodafone, the signal is nil. and there are chances that you would loose money without getting connected to the person you want to. The innumerable number of service messages and calls from Vodafone is another disturbance. If there is no change to this miserable condition many o[censored]s would be left with no other choice but to quit Vodafone.

                                  I have registered a complaint 5-6 days back, and complaint no is [protected]. I cannot connect to an airtel no [protected], it always show call disconnected. This is a problem with my vodaphone no, and not in my handset, as I have already checked. I tried convincing ur vodaphone employers, but their response till now is nill. They say we will resove this, everytime. It is my last trial to get my problem solved, otherwise I have to change no, as i have no other option.

                                  I have to change my vodaphone no and take a new airtel conection, as I am sick of asking again and again vodaphone customer care employees to resolve this issue.
                                  But, such a careless attitute was not expected from a reputed organisation.

                                  Kindly co-operate and look into the matter, as this is an insult of your esteemed organization, if your company cannot satisfythe customers.

                                    I was using Vodafone services from last many years.
                                    Due to my transfer from Delhi to Bangalore I requested a "Safe Custody" plan from Vodafone, but after sending mails again and again the company haven't changed my plan and on the top of it they continously pile on the bills on my name.
                                    I had requested them many times but there was no positive response.
                                    I had contacted the regional manager (for that particular region) and he told me to e-mail him the problem but in spite of mailing him many times there was no response from his side and when I tried to contact him through phone he is not picking up my calls.
                                    I am in real need for help and going through mental problem due to their unprofessional behaviour, they had mounted a huge amount on my name, Sir kindly take some necessary measure to resolve the issue.
