Dear All;
Good Day,
I’d like to receive a direct & urgent feedback, regarding the delay of the issuance of my credit card from Barclays Egypt, as I’d been promised to receive my credit card within 7 working days, from applying the application on 10/12/2009, & after calling Barclays Egypt call center for more than 4 times, & talked to a different representatives & supervisors, I got many different & sarcastic feed backs from the supervisors themselves, & finally no one knows the reason of the delay nor know the status of my credit card.

So I need a quick & efficient feedback regarding my complaint.

    We keep getting these unsolicited messages on screen in the form of quizzes and tips.
    If you press the OK button, you get charged for it so you have to press the "Back" or the "Cut" button.
    We have two vodafone post paid cell connections and we are registered on the "Do Not Disturb Registry of india".

    These unsolicited messages which appear on the screen cause the following probles:
    1) They are unsolicited;
    2) If you press "OK" by mistake you get charged for it;
    3) You have to press "Back" or "Cut" so that you do not get charged for it;
    4) The phone light becomes on when the message comes thereby consuming lot of energy and phone needs to be charged again and again;
    5) These messages come throughtout the day and night.
    6) I have old parents for whom getting rid of these quizes and tips becomes difficult and if they innocently press the "OK" button we get charged for it;

    Vodafone is a nuisance.

    Unsoliciited messages appearing on screen (not sms)

    I am also facing this same problem... its too iritating.. what s the solution for it... we jus need the solution for this prob.. what else to share to you..its all clearly explained by Vhatkar

    I am also facing the same issues. I am tired of trying every option on my phone. In fact, the "FLASH" option does not open on my Nokia phone. If there is a way out on this please let everyone know.

    I am fed up of these messages and on the verge of switching to another provider.

    Here is the solution for the problem

    The messages came from a Vodafone Service called "FLASH!" and turned off by Menu->"Vodafone Services"->FLASH!->Activation and selecting Deactivate.

    I m also fed-up with this messages that keep on coming again & again. If vodafone is sending messages to the people who are registered to DND (Do Not Disturb), then isn't that an violation of law.

    Vodafone care is all they donot have manners how to talk and and I think lack trainings.
    First they dont habe the solution then they say voice is breaking, if the voice is breaking, what the hell your GSM engineers are doing...???

      Dear Sir/Ma'am,
      My name is Vikash Saini and I am (unfortunately) one of the customer of vodafone.I am using my number [protected](postpaid)-corporate connection since last one year.My vodafone bill always comes more than one thousand rupees(you can check the records).I pay my bill accordingly. Yesterday i.e on Monday 21st December'09, I tried to change my caller tune.And as usual I do,I visited the vodafone site and selected the song,when I changed it,the song was different from what i had selected.As usual I called vodafone customer care for the complain,and I was told that you have selected a wrong code which is absolutely wrong as I told the customer care executive to confirm because I was damn sure I had selected the right code, and as a proof I had that massage in my sent item in my mobile.The customer care executive put me on hold for atleast 15 minutes and then the phone was cut(I asked him to let me talk to his superiors).Getting such a response was shocking but still holding my nerves I again called vodafone care...the person on the other side was more harsh than the previous one,he told that it was my fault and there is no possiblity of any remedy..and before i could say anything he had his last words(or the last laugh)...to me"THANKYOU FOR CALLING VODAFONE"....SLAM..!!! he hanged the phone...I called again to vodafone care(because for now it was not about spending Rs30/- for caller tune...as it is not even a considerable amount for me atleast.).next a girl picks up the phone and I asked her the procedure of copying a caller tune from any number...she told me to press star and 9 togather to copy it...one of my friend whose mobile number is[protected](airtel)...was having the same caller tune what i was searching...i did the same as said to me by the lady...and then the song changed again and it was not that song my friend has in his caller tune....(you can check by dialling this number mentioned)..I again called customer care for this complain and the person sitting on the other side was on his full swing to prove me wrong..when I asked him to check the caller tune by dialling the airtel number..he was like its not our job to do this....when I asked him to give his employee code..he was like..they don't give this to customers...and again hanged the phone on my face...
      I just want to know that is this the way that you people handle customers...even I am into service sector...I always see a dog in your advertisement...with a board on his neck"HAPPY TO HELP"..but I never thought that the dog bites also...!!My friend were out of their breath..laughing the way I was fooled by your customer care department..I know I will be charged thats not a big deal...but customer satisfaction is also there....and I feel that you are having a bunch of illiterate people who are representing Vodafone.... nothing is going to happen..even this mail that I am marking is just because my friends asked me to do...!! well you people don't worry I will be paying my bill....because for you people,. money is the only thing that you care about....!!!!

        Hello,
        I have registered for do not call service with Vodafone in sep 2008.I am pretty happy with the service and the service they provide to the cmr..Despite registering for the DNC service I get marketting calls from the banks ( Especially from HDFC bank) regarding personal loans and credit cards which have stopped now.I did contact the contact center in the 3rd week of Nov and was told that some one from a higher department will contact me.No has contacted me till date and I am still receving calls from the people from whom I dont wish to recieve calls...
        Vodafone is doing nothing to get the issue resolved.Can I get some info on how this can be taken forward....Can TRAI help?....

          Sir,
          I bought my vodafone 125 gsm mobile on[protected] from citi mobile ,
          modeltown,rewari ,haryana.But from[protected] onwards it is not allowing outgoing calls, allowing only incoming calls.Whenever i attempt a call it shows a message-"SERVICE NOT SUBSCRIBED". the IMEI number given on my phone is--"[protected]".
          When i followed the procedure for finding whether the IMEI no. is correct or not by sending message IMEI [protected] to 53232, then the reply that comes is -"MESSAGE RETRIES OVER".
          I am really worried over this , please help me....

            i wldnt wanna mention my num,i am on a cug plan frm vodafone,whr i pay rs 1.30/min of std call,i am trying to change my plan since mnths,they ask me to go to store,thts crazy,their advisors r rude,managers r mad,no netwrk has this high rates,they r not changin my plan b coz they r theives,u call them nd chk wth them,they say all stores r open,in mumbai u spend hours,money on rickshaw to reach thr nd find tht d store is closed,u call thm again to gt a managr ur on hold over for 9 mins,advisor name pradeep verma comes back only to shout at u nd manager of no help,in big cities like mumbai all is closed on monday or thursday b coz pple do evry other chores on sunday,heree vodafone stores r closd on sundays,give wrng info,was of time nd money,they r thieves in disguise

              Below was last email, i had sent after a 5 years of long relationship with "Orange" now it is vodafone, as Vodafone associate me with a vodafone number which i dont know they said you had started this number in 2007(Friend and family scheme) and not paid the bill, But the irony is i was never in friend and family scheme.
              They harassed me and barred my incoming outgoing without investigating on the issue later they said you are associated with that number but bill has been paid.
              GOD KNOWS WHAT THEY WANTED TO SAY!!!

              Result: Switched to new serivice provider.Never go for vodafone i came to know after 5 years!!!

              Hello Vodafone,

              Thank you so much for the kind of response, whereas I have decided to disconnect the connection immediately.

              As the information provided by you is vague and completely irrelevant.

              Here is the snapshot:

              1. 3rd December 2009, my Vodafone services were disconnected without any prior notice to the customer.

              2. 4th of December 2009 I have visited Kharghar Vodafone center asking the reason of this disconnection, I have been told that I have not paid the bill of Vodafone no. ([protected]) that is the reason we have disconnected your services. This was really disgusting and was baseless to associate some unknown no. with me, as I have never taken any friend and family number. Also I have never received any bill or any intimation/verification of this number ([protected]). Question here is how can you associate somebody’s number with me.

              3. 5th of December as I was not heard anything from Vodafone I have sent an email to Vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com and explained the whole scenario.

              4. Again Not received any response from Vodafone, On 8th of December I personally called to the Nodal officer of Vodafone (Mumbai) and explained the whole story I haven told we will send you the reply very soon.

              5. On 9th of December finally I got the reply from Vodafone stating that you have not paid your outstanding i.e. (Rs.3500) against the number ([protected]). Also Vodafone explicitly mentioned that there is no amount due on Vodafone no. [protected].

              6. On 10th December I called again the Nodal officer and they were completely unexplainable to the situation and stood helpless. Also they asked me to pay the outstanding of Rs. 3500; also there was no comment on the no.[protected].

              It is more than a week now and I am still without Vodafone services, it not only hampered my official work but also severly hindered by personal things.

              At last I am attaching the previous month bills (i.e. of Aug2009 and Sept2009) where it is clearly mentioned that there is no outstanding or previous dues and also the amount I have paid.

              Herby I declare the formal disconnection of this number and also the relationship which I had with the Vodafone since 5 long years.

              I am in a process of putting this complaint to (TRAI) telecom Regulatory Authority of India.
              And also the same has been submitted to consumer court dated: 11December 2009

              Note: Please avoid calling on my reference no.[protected] as the person is not interested to entertain you anymore.

              Also I have been told that this number was activated in November 2007 under friend and family plan, I believe i was never under friend and family plan.

              At last I would like take to your attention towards this serious issue as i was using this number since 5 long years and barred outgoing actually affects my personal as well as my functional life.

              Kindly look into this case immediately also please feel free to call or revert in case of any question, In case if I have not heard anything from you in a stipulated time of three days, then I am sure I have to look for legal consultancy.

                Please send BILL(space)FIRST THREE LETTERS OF THE MONTH to 144 to get your prepaid bill. For example, for the month of September, please send BILL SEP to 144. Kindly note that you can avail only the outgoing (for the last 6 months) details. You will receive the details to your registered address once we receive the request.

                it is so strange vodfone says we are happy to help you

                i nvever found any executive coming on line to solve my any problem instead

                i get a message suddenly form 6789 saying " hai you just spoke to Raju yuvaraj, we would like to
                know if your request has been fulfilled to your satisfaction reply toll free with yes or no

                most interesting i never spoke to any body

                some time some body comes and tells me go 3 g services when i said i alrady having such
                and he says thank you
                after that i will never get tower connection for 2 3 hours and after that all my 3 g payment made just before 3 4 hours vanishes and i will never get bact 3 g connection until i pay again Rs 375

                this happened twice to me in this month.
                and if i pay at around 11 am Rs 222 in that money around Rs 93 deductred saying you had - balance
                earlier using 3g

                but starnge is that when we ask on line it says you are yet to link with 3 g service and but money deducted
                saying - balacne when i never had any connection at all.

                are they delibaratly doing are some body in between playing a game.

                and when ever i try to contct customer care it is literally 200% they do not care any customer
                with great difficulty some time i get somebody on and the machine says
                in view to improve our service your call will be recorded and pl wait on the line to talk to our executive
                but god know wheter any human on that post it is never i spoke to any executive even on my non stop
                trying for several hours.

                with this if you are HAPPY TO HELP YOU and it is just on slogan and facat is there is no service at all
                even on getting 3 g very often after 14 16 or 18 mints the line suddenly goes off/.

                  This is regarding my Vodaphone mobile bill payment for month of Nov' 09. I made the payments for both of my no# : [protected]/15 on 1st Dec' 09 at one of the Vodaphone stores at Mahipalpur Crossing, new Delhi through my Debit Card.

                  After that i kept getting calls from drifferent departments of vodaphone ( cust care/Collections) for non payments of the same. I informed them i have already made the payments and also provided them the Store address and the TID No# to track the same. I have the Ticket no# where i had loged the complaint to vodaphone cust care and also have the Payment charge slip as a proof.

                  Even after providing all this info, i still get calls from the colloections departments fr the non-payment of the bill.

                  Please help as how to proceed further.

                  I am sick and tired of payments maintained by Vodafone.

                  I am using CUG connection in name of Sri Shyam International.
                  I have paid on 10th of october from syndicate bank, cheque no 566877 dated 10/10/10 of rs 2775.73 drawn on syndicate bank, alipore road. The same has been cleared from my bank accounton 13/10/2010.
                  The payment is for the following connections -:

                  i[censored] add up all the bills I am sure all the calculators in this world will give u the above total of the cheque issued to you.

                  From last 10 days atleast 5-8 different people have called up regarding non payment and every time i had to give them the indivisual details.
                  This is getting painful, I think i need to cancel all my connections and opt for some other service provider.

                    On Dt. 5th December 2009 I have booked 3 post paid connections of Vodafone.

                    While booking these 3 connections I placed my 4 basic needs in front of Vodafone executive.

                    1. CUG without any extra monthly rental.

                    2. STD without any extra monthly rental.

                    3. Roaming without any extra monthly rental.

                    4. GPRS without any extra monthly rental.

                    After getting confirmation from them – Mansi (M – [protected]), Shekar or Satish (M – Not Available)

                    I have booked these 3 connections.

                    Mobile Number – [protected], [protected], [protected]

                    Out of my 4 needs 1st I tried for activation of GPRS to Mobile Number - [protected].

                    On Saturday Dt. 5th December 2009 I have shown my hand set to them & asked to do GPRS manual settings.

                    Also informed them, right now am using Rediffmail, Gmail, Yahoomail through my handset & the GPRS connection is set for pop3, imap for outlook in my handset.

                    Got feedback from them that, right now we are unable to do connection setting after the Vodafone card activation we will make settings. Because that time Cellone card was in my handset.

                    Mr. Pramod (M – [protected] Time: 17:17) helped me for that, but I know from him that the GPRS service is having monthly rental. It’s not FOC.

                    For getting 3 connections the executive done wrong commitment to me.

                    Regarding this issue I have lodeg complaint to Customer care.
                    I clearly informed them that,

                    Either
                    You provide me GPRS without any rental.
                    Or
                    Say sorry, we are unable to provide GPRS service in FOC, kindly close the connections.

                    All the matter was handled by - Rashmi Pandit, Vodafone Care

                    Now the connections are closed by Vodafone not by me.

                    Hope so you will take needful action over my complaint - Miss Commitment / Guide - GPRS Service & will revert me back.

                              I have been facing some problems with Vodafone for Past 6 months and the Series of problems is as Under:-

                              1) My bill payment got delayed for one month because i was in Kolkata and I am sorry to say i did not have hours to travel in kolkata and go to Vodafone Store.
                              i called up 111 to ask them how could i get it done and also you have a service of bill payment by callin 111 but because i was on roaming it wasnt Possible and that time your Website www.vodafone.in

                              Please Note: i had tried to get my bill payment done but I was unsuccessful in getting it done
                              and EVEN CALLED UP 111
                              when i gOt back i receive a call that please make your bill payment and i told them First Get my Waiver done and then i'll make the payment but the executive told me sorry it is not possible till you make the payment done.I DID THE PAYMENT.BUT THANKS TO VODAFONE WAIVER WAS NOT DONE

                              Later i did not pay the bill because i told 111 and the executive who called me that i will not pay my next bill till the waiver is done....and i did not pay my next bill and gave almost 100 calls to vodafone executive who promised me that waiver will be done BUT ITS VODAFONE.SO PROBLEMS ARE IMMINIENT

                              Days Passed by and here is the Second and THE MOST ALARMING INCIDENT and after this i would not advise anybody to use VODAFONE....

                              2) Since my vodfone number was not in service because i did not pay my bill i got another another call on My alternate number [protected] Asking me to pay the Vodafone bill.It was a female whose NUMBER IS [protected] and asked me to pay the bill as the REQUEST FOR MY WAIVER HAS BEEN DONE.well the total amount of waiver was Rs 200 ONLY
                              And i agreed to her SOMETHING WHICH I SHOULDNT HAVE DONE BUT SOMEHOW I DID...
                              She sent a person from collections to me and i handed a CHEQUE to the person and that collection person tells me that the Waiver of Rs 200 will be done soon...BUT THANKS TO VODAFONE WAIVER WAS NOT DONE

                              BECAUSE OF SERIES OF EVENTS ANOTHER PROBLEM POPPED OUT AGAIN...THANKS AGAIN TO VODAFONE

                              by the time i was told that waiver of RS 200 ONLY will be done my another bill was ready.I was asked to pay my previous Pending amount of Rs 500 but i PAID 600

                              My latest bill said outstanding amount of 900.including My previous unpaid bills

                              I paid Rs 600 by cheque.and amount of Rs 300 was PENDING.
                              200+Service tax had to be the waiver amount

                              and the total outstanding left was around 90

                              BUT THANKS TO VODAFONE WAIVER WAS NOT DONE AND MY OUTSTANDING REMAINED 300 SINCE I HAD THE IDEA THAT WAIVER WILL BE DONE THERE WAS NOT NEED TO PAY THE LATEST BILL AS OUTSTANDING OF RS 9O IS ACCEPTABLE BUT BECAUSE OF THE WAIVER NOT DONE IT WAS 300

                              AND ANOTHER LATE PAYMENT CHARGES WERE VISIBLE IN MY ACCOUNT JUST BECAUSE OF PROBLEMS FROM VODAFONE

                              WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING TO THIS COMPANY ITS MERE INSULT TO THE CUSTOMER

                                Am ur customer since from 3yrs with the no [protected].And am presently facing few problems with ur service for the sake i called up customer care.and i didnt got a good respect frm thm.and the way she behaved was redicuolous and even she was very rude towards me. i kindly request u to take necessary action against her and i demand for her apology.. and the lady recognised herself as SHWETA(supervisor) and d call was made on 12th of jan 2010 at 2.41pm

                                    i am very frusrated from vodafone company . i am using 3 vodafone corporate no.s[protected],[protected],[protected] from last 4years. my credit limit of my no.s are 4000. but now company discrease the credit limit to rs.900. my average bill is rs.800. sevral of time i call to customer care and go to vodafone store for increase the credit limit but till time there is no responce from the company side.
                                    i pay to company rs.1500 every month.

                                      Hi Iam rakesh kumar,I am very frustrated with the Kind of reply from Mr. Kailash Yadav,Branch incharge,Soham complex,gurudwara road,Jamnagar,Gujarat.Actually i was employee with tata-aig and i have to take vodafone cug plan for reimbursement account.so i have contacted aperson who is handling tata cug plan at surat.But he tell me that u are getting one card free with cug A450 plan,so i taken that card,but after three month i did not get my plan converted to cugA450 plan and my billing for second card([protected]) started.I refuse to pay because my real purpose to covert my plan not solved.They started sending me court notice.They already send me Prelitigation No:691.I talk to the person Kailash Yadav ,Branch Incharge but the response from his side was very bad.How can company like vodafone employee person like Kailash Yadav as a branch in-charge,who doesnt know how to behave with customer.My A/C NO is 1.22576893 and the number for which I am complaining is [protected].Please help me in this matter.

                                      Vodafone — cheating & ill treatment

                                      Respected Sir,

                                      I, Mr. Suresh D Palav ([protected]) a consumer of Vodafone services would like to complain against the company for cheating me and harassing me by not providing the said services and ignoring my repetitive requests to them. I am forced to take this kind of step as I am thoroughly disappointed by the reluctant behavior of company to help their customers.

                                      I bought Vodafone package in June 08, which included Vodafone mobile connect stick (Data card stick) as well as 12 GB data usage for a year i.e. equally to be divided in months(1 GB per month ). I was also charged taxes for the same in the presiding month which was never disclosed during sale but thereafter understandingly paid by me on time. Thus whole amount was paid to the company well in advance with a trust to avail uninterrupted services.

                                      I was assured proper network service throughout the year with a handsome speed but was never fulfilled. Within no time after I bought the package, I started to face network problem from subscriber. I was asked to wait for few days until the problem was resolved. I opted to cooperate but it was taken granted by the company. After a long coordination and repetitive narration the problem was then solved but was too late and resulted into loss of my data usage for that month and monetary loss of phone bills as well as mental harassment.

                                      In the meanwhile there were minor problems but were ignored by me understandingly. Again in April 09 I started to face the same problem and were grievous than before. Whenever I use to surf on net I use to get very low speed and sometimes nil resulting into time out for displaying the page. This was so bad that all my work was delayed and I had to face embarrassment. The assurances given by the customer care was never fulfilled and many a times the call was purposefully disconnected or put on hold for a long period until I loose my control and voluntarily disconnect the call.

                                      I actually wasted my two months for coordinating and requesting but was awarded with monetary loss, data usage loss, mental harassment and heavy loss in my private life and official works. I thereby request the concerned authority to have a look into this matter and award me damages for the losses incurred due to company’s negligence and improper assured services.
