Hi
i have been using Vodophone for many months now. And my family members too use the same service. But the Vodophone just stes some default CALLER TUNES and make money out of it. We end up paying rental charges for caller tunes though we have never used the service. When contacted the cutomer care(should i call so) worst response and he is really really HARSH. Being harsh to a lady itself is wrong and these people are not ready to accept the complaints.
I am planing to change to other service provider. AIRCEL though weak signal atleast do not cheat people this way.
hence am changing all my family members number to AIRCEL.
I advice you to think twice before taking vodophone network provider.
VERY VERY WORST CUTOMER SERVICE.
I am ready to complaint to any superior authority for the rude behaviour. But am not sure how to approach.plz help

hello

I am a aircel service user in lucknow. They are a disturbing me through calls and messages for different schemes to which i am not interested at all and I have complaint for that to their customer care..
To come out from this problem I have registered by self for their DND scheme. But just after registering their DND scheme they charged me 30 rs fo any friend zone scheme beyond my attention ..

So i called customer care and they told me that you have subscribed for that and given me complaint no[protected]..

So they are just cheating with consumer.. Kindly never purchase aircel if you want your private life as private and you don't want to disturbed by frequent calls and their schemes which automatically activates in account without doing anything..

It's possible. Let's collect list of people who wants to do that and try to get petition from consumer court and TRAI to make migration transparent and easy.

    Please comment at http://dilpu.blogspot.com/2010/03/vodafone-india-postpaid-to-prepaid-plan.html

      Dear Sir/Madam,

I am the owner of a pre-paid account of Vodafone and my cell number is [protected]. I reside in Kolkata, West Bengal. I am using this number for the last one year.

On Nov 26, 2009 I had recharged my account with Rs.63 in order to avail the 1 paisa per second call charges (Transaction Id: KO[protected]). On Dec 02, 2009 I had received an SMS informing: "Your validity expires in 3days. Recharge with Rs.47 get LIFELONG VALIDITY. Use any Vodafone Bonus Card to reduce call rates. Recharge Now!" I had finally recharged my account on Dec 05, 2009 by paying Rs.47. However, to my utter surprise I found that calls made thereafter from my mobile number to another Vodafone number charged me at Rs.0.49 paise/min. Which indicated that my earlier Vodafone Bonus Card recharge of Rs.63 became inactive.

Immediately, I had called the Vodafone help desk and reported the incident. The initial representitive tried to convince me by saying that in order to avail the 1paise/sec call charges, I have to recharge again by paying Rs.63. On my insistance to speak to the higher authority of Vodafone, he had transferred the call to one Mr. Soumya who again did the same thing. However, he had added a new idea which was to credit my account balance with Rs.63 talk value and asked me to recharge with Rs.63 on top of that in order to enjoy the 1paisa/sec facility. All I wanted was an explanation from him regarding deactivation of my earlier recharge of Rs. 63 within a span of 9 days without any prior intimation. To my utter dismay, Mr. Soumya said: "it is not possible" and it was also suggested by the Vodafone agent that I should have checked this with the Vodafone people before validating my account.

I am an employee of Wipro Ltd and I own another Vodafone post paid corporate account for about 5 years. The experience that I had today (Dec 05, 2009) with the pre-paid account clearly implies that Vodafone is "robbing" it's customers with their attractive and confusing plans. It is not a question of spending Rs.63 but it is a great concern for all such pre-paid cosumers of Vodafone like me to unnecessarily spend Rs.63 within a short span of time just because they had renewed their account with a lifetime validity of Rs.47.

I am highly dissatisfied with the service and policy of Vodafone and would sincerely lookforward to a favourable, remarkable and immediate action from your end which also needs to be highlighted before the public for their benefit so that these cellular operators think twice in future before playing with their policies.

You may contact me at: rajkumar.[protected]@gmail.com

      With best regards,
      Raj Kumar Mukherji.

WIPRO — De-Activation of number without any prior intimation

I bought three corporate connections at my my name under corporate CUG 199 plan . I shifted to new address temporarily & in the mean time my number was deactivated without any prior communication.
      Sir/Madam,
I have recharged my Vodafone mobile through online on 02/Oct/2011.For Bonus Card 32
      This gives the details as:

Benefit Local Vodafone calls at 30p/min, Other Local calls at 40p/min. STD at 50p/min. Daily 100 Local & National SMS Free.
      Validity 90days

But they are charging Rs.1 for 1st 2 SMS. This is not mentioned in the offer detail.
I had informed the customer care executive, but they tell its TRAI rules to charge for SMS. If that’s the case what does the Bonus Card 32 mean and even that don’t specify Rs.1 for 1st 2 SMS. This is a day light Robbery.

Re: Protest and Complaint against the forceful deduction of amount by Vodafone from customer's account.

            Respected Sir,

I Write this mail to Protest and Complaint against the forceful deduction of amount by Vodafone from my account/from mobile no. [protected]. Sir I write this mail with the hope to get justice against the fraud/ mental taurture Vodafone did with me. Here below I am sending you the deatil in different process how I was toutured by Vodafone and how my amount was deducted forcefuly by vodafone and on complaint for the forcefull deduction how I was made responsible for this illegal deduction.

Sir, before providing you the detail I request you to go through every step of written below and than plz. give the justice:

Sir, the story starts from the day when on[protected], I (SANJAY GUPTA) was issued a prepaid mobile GSM connection no. [protected] from Vodafone from Rudrapur (Uttranchal) on my request.

            First Episode[protected]

How The Fraud Strats from Vodafone:

Sir, the 1st step of fraud of vodafone starts when I recieves a message on my mobile handset from VODAFONE on 11:56:05 AM on[protected] stating that: Hello! Miss Call Information Service aap ke number par 24 ghanto mai activate kar di jai gi. Call Information Service ka Rent Rs..30/month. Sender: Vodafone, Message centre: [protected].

Sir, the 1st step of fraud of vodafone takes the shape of fraud when I again recieves a message on my mobile handset from 56789 on 12:00:34 PM on[protected]Means just after approx. 4 min. of 1st message) stating that: Your subscription to MCI has been activates. Thank You! Sender: 56789, Message centre: [protected].

How I was made responsible of the above frauds and How mentally I was tortured:

Sir after this single sided working of the Vodafone ( Activation of Miss Call Alert service without my request/consent) , I immediately protested very strongly at the help line desk of vodafone at toll free no. 111 by questionning them how without my request/consent the different services are applied on my connection ? I shocked very heavily When I got the return response of the officers in which they made us responsible for the activation of the above service by saying that this service always actives only on the request of client and further they told me that since I had asked/requsted for this service only than it is activated. Sir, I was tortured menatlly that time when in return I asked the officers to provide the proof through which source the Miss Call alert service was requested by me. In response of this, instead of providding me the proof, the officers ordered me very rudely not to talk any more in this matter as they said that they are helpless in this matter and further suggested me (if I am not intrested in this service) to sent a message at 144 by writting CAN MCI , the service will be deactivated and than and there after this suggestion they disconnected the phone. ( This way I was not mentally tortured but was also insulted). Still Sir without going in any litigation I simply kept myself cool and forwarded a message for the deactivation of this service at 144 by writting : CAN MCI.

In return of my sent message to 144, on 19:46:00 PM on[protected] I recieved a message in response of my sent message on my mobile handset from 144 stating that: We have recieved your request and the service will be deactivated with in a maximum period of 5hrs Sender: 144, Message centre: [protected].

Sir on 19:59:05 PM on[protected] I again recieved a message on my mobile handset from VODAFONE stating that: Hello! Miss Call Information Service aap ke number par band karne ki request hame prapt ho gi hai. Yeh suvidha 24 ghanto mai band kar di jai gi. Sender: Vodafone, Message centre: [protected].

Sir on 22:45:52 PM on[protected] I again recieved a message on my mobile handset from VODAFONE stating that: Hello! Miss Call Alert suvidha aap ke number par band kar di gai hai. Sender: Vodafone, Message centre: [protected].

Sir,this way the mental tourture was started at 11:56:05 AM and with hard effort it was ended on 22:45:52 PM. Sir I took all these things as human mistake and forgot everything by the last message at 22;45:52PM on[protected].

            Second Episode[protected]

How finally company gets success in there cheap targets of deduction the amount forcefuly:

Sir, this time I am giving you the deatil of second phase of fraud company tried, but could not get success.

Sir story does not ends here, I was shocked when this message attacked me again and again and lastly they imposed me this service by hook and crook and they deducted the rent of the same from my account.( After my great protest) Please go in further details given below of messages and activities what Vodafone did with me:

Sir on 20:52:10 PM on[protected] I again recieved a message on my mobile handset from VODAFONE stating that: Hello! Miss Call Information Service aap ke number par 24 ghanto mai activate kar di jai gi. Miss Call Information Service ka Rent Rs..30/month. Sender: Vodafone, Message centre: [protected].

Sir on 21:05:12 PM on[protected] I again recieved a message on my mobile handset from VODAFONE stating that: Hello! We are happy to activate MCI Alerts. The service is now active on your Vodafone. To deactivate Sms CAN MCI to 144. Sender: Vodafone, Message centre: [protected].

Sir after checking this message I just simply forwarded my request for deactivation of this service at 144, I did not feel better to call at customer care centre as there behaviour last time was very cheap and was unbearable, so instead of going in verbal talk I felt it better to send message at 144 , so i did by writting CAN MCI.

In return of my sent message to 144, on 21:06:56 PM on[protected] I recieved a message in response of my sent message on my mobile handset from 144 stating that: We have recieved your request and the service will be deactivated with in a maximum period of 5hrs Sender: 144, Message centre: [protected].

Sir on 21:07:04 PM on[protected] I again recieved a message on my mobile handset from VODAFONE stating that: Hello! Miss Call Information Service aap ke number par band karne ki request hame prapt ho gi hai. Yeh suvidha 24 ghanto mai band kar di jai gi. Sender: Vodafone, Message centre: [protected].

Sir on 21:15:21 PM on[protected] I again recieved a message on my mobile handset from VODAFONE stating that: Hello! Miss Call Alert suvidha aap ke number par band kar di gai hai. Sender: Vodafone, Message centre: [protected].

Sir,this way the second process of mental tourture was started on[protected] at 20:52:10 PM and with hard effort it was ended on 21:15:21 PM. Sir 2nd time the repetation of this episod disturbed me a lot. Still I never wanted to go in litigation so this time also I kept my self cool.

            Third and Final Episode[protected]

How finally company gets success in there cheap targets of deduction the amount forcefuly:

Sir highly disappointing to say that all the limits were crossed on 18:11:2009 when I was on roamming to Delhi, the same process was started again, and it crossed the limit when I was not hitted financially only but also mentally as well as humanity wise also. Please go into the deatil given below and do the justice:

Sir, on[protected] I was on roamming area after 22:00 PM. From that time I never recieved or made any call from this no. neither any SMS was recieved or sent through this no. till 23:30 PM on[protected].

Sir height of fraud took place when I got the balance reminder on[protected] at around 23:00 PM where I found that RS. 30.00 has been deducted from my account. To get the reason for the deduction of amount I called up at the customer care service in Delhi where I got the reason that your Miss call Alert service has been activated and the balance in deducted against that service only. There I protested against this fraud than I was simply asked that no help can be provided in this matter from Delhi office, If any sort of help is required I was given the no. to call [protected].

Sir, Immediate after I cheked my message box where I found that on 21:08 PM on[protected] I recieved a message on my mobile handset from 56789 stating that: Your subscription to MCI has been activated.Thank you. Sender: 56789.

Sir at 21:13 PM on[protected] I again recieved a message on my mobile handset from VODAFONE stating that: Hello! We are happy to activate MCI Alerts. The service is now active on your Vodafone. To deactivate Sms CAN MCI to 144. Sender: Vodafone.

Sir Immediately I passed a message for deactivation of the service at 144 by writting CAN MCI, there in return at 21:42 PM on[protected] I recieved a message on my mobile handset from 144 stating that:In return of my sent message to 144, on 21:06:56 PM on[protected] I recieved a message in response of my sent message on my mobile handset from 144 stating that: We have recieved your request and the service will be deactivated with in a maximum period of 5hrs Sender: 144.

Sir now the conflict starts here, as soon as I passed the SMS at 144 an amount of RS 3.45 was deducted as SMS charges. To get the detail of all these non sense deduction I made a STD call from DELHI from phone no. [protected] to Customer care centre at [protected] as was told by Delhi customer care centre in night hrs. around 12'O clock and requested them to refund my deducted amount back. Sir on that STD call the response of the customer care was again very rude and I was asked simply that nothing can be done in this matter and no money will be refund moreover they blammed me that the service is activated on your request and they asked me that I was lying that I have not requested for the activation of the service. Sir to hear all these I was very disappointed so without going in litigation with them I just simply asked them to tell me the way for making complaint against them in TRAI or any reliable concerned arbitrage cell, on the persual of that track they flatly asked me that there decision is final and there is no way of making there complaint. Further this time also when I asked them to provide me the proof from which source the request for the Miss Call alert service was demanded from my side, no proper response/proof was given to me, and I was asked to hold the line and after a long hold on STD the line was automatically disconnected. Since it was an STD call that too from some buddys another no. I kept quite and waitted till I come back to my home town.

Sir on[protected] I was back in my Home town and from here again tried to talk at customer care centre at toll free no. 111 where I talked to Mr. Amrish Bharmdutt/ senior officer but there tone was also same as it was before. With that discussion I concluded that in no way company wants to relize the reality only they were adament on the fact that It is always a customers request on which they activate the service and when the proofs are demanded for the mode of request no genuine response is provided. Moreover they even dont want to tell the way for making there complaint. I felt just like a jungle Raj company wants to deal with there customer.

Sir, than from my own efforts I got the way of making the complaint and of getting the justice. In order to that I am mailling this total episode to you with hope that I will get the justice.

Proofs which proves the cheatting of company.

Sir herewith I am high lighting some points which proves the cheatting of company.

1.(a) Sir as company says that the Miss Call Alert service can only be activated on request of customer. In my case if we talk about the episode of[protected], I was in delhi which can be confirmed from companys datas. In case being in Delhi If I permitted the company to activate the Miss call altert service on there promotional calls, why my Incomming call charges to attend the promotional calls are not deducted,
1.(b) and in case if I forwarded the request th. SMS to activate my Miss Call Alert service why the SMS charges are not deducted. Now if the company says that for the promotional call and for such request th. SMS no charges are charged than why the Chrage of RS. 3.45 was deducted from my account when I passed the SMS on 144 for the deactivation of Miss Call Alert on[protected].

            2. Sir, If I would have requested for the activation of Miss Call Alert service , so there is no such a fool which will ask for the deactivation of the same service for which already the monthly charge has been deducted.

Sir all these facts proves that Company is exploitting the customers by taking the advantage of misguding them/customer dont have the time to fight for such a small amount of Rs 30.00/etc and therefore company is taking the benefit if this liberty.

            CLAIM

            1. Refund of my Principal money RS.30.00 deducted as Miss Call Alert service monthly rent.
            2. Refund of my money Rs 3.45 deducted on part of SMS charges th. which I requested to deactivate Miss Call Alert Service.
            3. Pay the amount of STD call which I made from [protected] to [protected] in order to protest the fraud against me.
            4. Compunsation for torturing me menatlly.
            5. Compunsation for breech of trust.
            6. Penality against the company which highness feel justify so that company do not do all these with somebody else.

Sir Please do the favourable , I shall be highly obliged .

            Thanking You.

            Yours Faithfuly

Vodafone Prepaid — Disconnection and Fraudulent means

I have been a Vodafone prepaid customer since the past 6 years. My number is [protected]. One find day without notification, my prepaid card gets deactivated (Vodafone record says 16th mar 2011). For the first few days i did not realise that the phone was deactivated (since this phone was used by my senior citizen parents and use it for incoming calls purposes). When I call up the Vodafone service on 8th april, I come to know that the service was deactivated since I did not recharge in the last 6 months. My last recharge done as per Vodafone was 10th may 2010 and the earlier policy was the do a minimum amount recharge in one year. This policy was changed and now it says that I should recharge Rs 200 minimum every 6 months.
When I call the Call Center, the person who addressed my phone had no clue and requested me to go the Vodefone shop. Then I wrote a mail to the Vodefone helpline and they responded as seen in the mail trail. I then got another call from Vodafone and the person told me to take the following documents to the nearest store and get my phone activated:
Address proof, identity proof, photos and sim charge of Rs 25.
I visited the Vodafone store on 24th April 2011 at Thakur Village, Kandivali East. I was shocked to know that my prepaid card is deactivated and I can only avail the number in the “Postpaid” form. This is sheer exploitation of customers like me. This kind of fraudulent means of extorting customers should be stopped at any cost. The company should be brought to book for cheating customers and using such unfair means to penalize hapless customers like me.
The policy keeps changing completely in favour on the telecom company with absolutely no consideration for the customer. I urge you to intervene and help retain my telephone number.

Postpaid Connection — non-installation of Hello Tune

In my connection No [protected] the hello tune were installed. I got a SMS message that after three days your hello tunes will be renewed. I send SMS and e-mail that my Hello ;Tunes may be renwed with changed song i.e "Tune Mujhe Bulaya Sheranwaliye"
But the same was not done. Despite repeated request to install the same your worst service of 121 said that you can downloan and send SMS. I sent SMS but could not understand your lengthy reply of downloading number. So I requested on 121 that the said song be installed and any confirmation be recorded by you if desired on voice mail. The person on that day dealing on 121 was so greatful that on my request either to install the said song or disconnect the existing Hello tune he did wonderful job of disconnecting Hello Tunes instead of changing tune for which I was charged some amount. What a WONDERFUL SERVICE. Scuh customer service people must be awarded. Now can on the basis of this e-mail you can restore/install Hello Tune of 'Tune Mujhe Bulaya Sheranwaliye'. The said tone is already installed on mobile of one of my colleage on mobile No. [protected].

for a change in the existing Plan to Vodafone124 Plan and I was assured by the Store in charge that the same would be activated within 24 hrs.
As on date no action has been taken on my request, the Customer Care has not recieved any intimation from the store
and I have been asked to resubmit once more my application.

The Vodafone Connection service is very BAD. Initially it offer good packages and later it try to put a huge weight on consumers head. I had a Manipal offer sim since from last 4 years and NOW the Vodafone asking me to pay 888 [Only talk-time of around 30%] to continue the offer for only next 6 Month. The interaction from the Customer Care also NOT good. Again they placing a weight of 50 paise for talking with the Customer Care.

The service is so bad and I really fed up with this network. So planing to change the network...:-)

                      Vodafone — Promotional SMS

I own a vodafone number [protected] from the past 4-5 years. I have registered for the DND service already. Still i get almost 8-9 promotional sms relating to property, land purchase etc. It is so agonizing for the consumer to go through such harrasment, why would the telecom operator share its consumer's number with the real estate promoters or any one else.

I seek an immediate action to stop all the unnecessary alerts and sms on my number. Vodafone should not demean its reputation.
The SPAM SMS are still in continuation.
Please help me with the same.

Let me know where can i report their numbers and lodge a complaint.

                            Dear Sir/Madam,

I am Mr. Dibya Ghosh from Kolkata & I am a subscriber of Vodafone for the last 6 years, since the day Hutch had ventured the Kolkata market. My cell number is [protected]. I am a "Certified Financial Planner" & a "Direct Tax Consultant" by profession.

I was happy with Vodafone till some years ago, but since the last 1 year, I am totally dissatisfied with the marketing strategies that the company has adopted. I mean to say the company has adopted the policy of calling the customers 'n' number of times in a day for subscribing to caller tunes. Well by mistake once I had pressed the button & a caller tune was copied. Now I had accepted my fault & paid a sum of Rs. 45/- without arguing with any body. I accept it was my fault & none of Vodafone's business.

Till August 2009 I was availing the Post Paid services of Vodafone, but due to recession I was going through a dark phase of my life. I had to bring down my overhead expenses, so I had opted for the Prepaid services after clearing of the monthly charges or dues for the current month. Now as per the rule book (formed by Vodafone) I am supposed to get my refund of Rs. 500/- within 2-3 months. I still remember the day I had subscribed for the Prepaid Service I had received couple of calls from the Head Office of Vodafone located at Constantia Building (UN Brahmachari Road Kolkata) from Mr. Bose confirming that within 1 month I will receive a cheque of Rs. 500/- as refund from Vodafone. However, I have not received any cheque till now. Why is this happening I fail to understand?

Yes on the 30th of November 2009 I had visited the Vodafone store which is located at DLF IT PARK, SHOP NO 35 & 36, RAJARHAT - 700156. The store representative with whom I had interacted had given me a new clause wherein I am not supposed to get my refund because I had not completed the stipulated locking period. Now it is quite surprising & ridiculous how rules can change over a period of 3 months (Aug - November)?

It is always the poor customer who suffers at the end & not the company. The company’s higher officials always avoid confronting the customers & use the front end representatives to pacify the burnt customers by giving asymmetric information.

                                Dear Sir,

On 1st December 2009 at 7.36 pm, i received a call from Vodafone (Tel No. [protected]) informing me that i will be getting 220 mins of free STD calls & there will be no rental charged for the same or there is no hidden cost... Its absolutely free... When i inquired about this from the Vodafone Customer Care (Tel No. 111), i was informed that there is no such facility...
Please let me know what should i do.. I just feel that vodafone is trying to make money by giving false information...
Around a month ago, i had received a call from the same above mention no. informing that i wont be charged for GRPS.. There will be no downloading charges also.. But to my surprise, i was charged... When i contacted the customer care, the only reply i got was "we are sorry"...

I hope i would get some positive response from your side...

                                Awaiting for a reply..

                                Regards,
                                Rohit Maheshwari...

                                Vodafone — Misleading Advertisements

In the month of Aug 2009, Vodafone placed an Ad starring the famous south Indian actor Shri Prakash Raj, stating that ‘Vodafone has slashed STD rates to 50 piasa per minute if called to any Southern States of Andra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka from a Vodafone number’.

Based of the aforesaid Ad, I, Maheshwari S Poondi an existing Vodafone customer, called for change of tariff plan to 50 piasa STD on Sep 3rd, as my billing cycle begins from Sep 5th. This would result in savings of about 50% of my cell phone bills.

I called Customer Care and spoke to Ms Anna and thereafter supervisor Ms Saritha at about 11:30 hours today (Sep 3rd) and they provided with Service Request Number – [protected]. With an apology the customer care mentioned that the server for this particular plan is yet to be updated, and that this would be activated with by September 20th.

What does this mean???? …..only that Vodafone would camouflage to attract customers by placing an ad, however cannot keep up with the statements made therein. It is a shame for Vodafone as it is unable to Walk its Talk.

                                Thanks
                                Maheshwari S Poondi
i keep getting calls from the same no : [protected] and most of the time no one speaks. I can only hear ppl speaking in hindi & marathi and laughing loud.

and whenever they speak, they have to offer me some silly vodafone chemes.

                                Vodafone sucks bigtime !!

                                Vodafone — charging hidden cost

                                Thanks

i got promotional message from Vodafone that if i will recharge by rs99 i will get internet services with some other specifications and benefits.
after i charged i gave rs99 to shopkeeper, then another message comes to my cell that they cant provide me this service.
I call the customer care they said this scheme i cant activated as it is not compatible with the schemes i have already installed in my cell phone from service provider.
When i asked that why they did not tell me this earlier or at a time of recharging when i was doing this that which scheme is not compatible with which other scheme.

why they play with words and mislead us in wrong direction.
even they don't have this information in their site in internet also that which of their schemes are not compatible with which other schemes.

And secondly why they send wrong promotional offers messages.

It is not about rs99 ,it is more about forgery with misleading informations.
I still have all the messages from Vodafone as proof of their wrong acts.

Kindly raise stern actions against their such acts.
I've got a call from the same number, saying that i'll get unlimited free internet usage from vodafone. The worst thing is that i followed his instuctions. Is there any harm that could be caused? I can't believe i bought into such a foolish thing.

I contacted vodafone customer care, but it was useless as always!
Vodafone's got horrible customer care..really sucks bigtime!!

                                Vodafone — Misleading SMS promotions

At 2:45AM on 8th December, I received an SMS from Vodafone about an offer. The sender was VT-Save Now. The SMS content is as follows:
                                "
                                Hello!
You used 43 VF mins, 4 SMS & 104185KB of browsing in October. Dial *121*84# to enjoy LOC [protected]@20p 2000Free Loc/Ntnl sms & 1GBfree browsing!

                                "

I dialed *121*84# and it activated it as a bonus. Moreover it debited Rs.84 from my prepaid account and reduced my balance to Rs. -30. I thought it was an offer just for me and was free.
I have a few questions for VODAFONE.

                                1. Why wasn't the offer charges mentioned in the SMS?
                                2. Why wasn't the validity period of 30 days mentioned in the SMS?
                                3. Why is Vodafone sending such misleading SMS's?
                                4. And how am I supposed to use VF @ 20p when my balance is negative, they shouldn't have activated citing insufficient balance in account like other bonus offers.

I even sent an EMail to their customer care, and didn't receive any reply.
Since the day, Vodafone took over Hutch, its service has been deteriorating and it keeps on sending SPAM SMS'es.
Hi My name is Gokul and my mobile number is [protected] and i have also encountered the same problem on 20 Dec-2010.
While trying to contact the customer care regarding the same, they give a reply that after seeing the sms which doesn't provide any details we need to call the customer care before dialing .
and moreover i was made to wait or 20 mins twice and he bluntly refused to take my complaint.
This is the way to mislead customers by false advertisements and false commitments .
Let Vodafone stop these misleading ads and keep up its brand dignity, not to steal money from customers.
I got the same message from Vodafone despite having DND active on my no., i got misled and activated it which took my balance to Rs -28. I called the customer care immediately and asked to refund the money but they say once activated theres no refund. I had made a lot of complaints to the customer care and still get the misleading msgs. I never used the benefits of the bonus card and after a few days i recharged my mobile to make my balance to Rs10, send a msg to a friend and used facebook (not more than 150KB of data) To my surprise my balance was again Rs -4 and when i asked the customer care they say i exceeded the download limit by just a 10 minute browsing.
I request all the Vodafone customers with similar problems to file a consumer court complaint and share the case no which adds more strength to our complaints. I gonna do that.

WAKE UP GUYS AND DO SOMETHING TO STOP CORPORATE LOOTING. IF WE CAN'T NO BODY CAN!

                                Enough is Enough!

                                Dear Sir/Ma'm,

I am a Vodafone postpaid customer currently using 34 postpaid number in my family & friends circle.Recently, I have encountered a big problem & bad service experiences with it. Hence, I registered for M.N.P.two months ago for these numbers..1.[protected] 2.[protected] 3.[protected] 4.[protected] for reliance 899 unlimited plan(completely unlimited). On next day by a vodafone employee(number [protected]), I was offered 899 unlimited(completely unlimited) plan by her & because I got was satisfied with the plan, I accepted the plan. After one month i received the bill for [protected] (Dwarka prasad Pareek) having amount of 2850.then i called the number [protected] to look into this matter & after 2 days the only response was let me check...let me check...and all the rubbish explanations in the World, Then after 3 Days when I called again, I was informed that it was by mistake & the amount will adjust in next Bill. but i was shocked to see the 2nd month bill with amount 2880.00. again i called [protected] but it was no reply for next about 20 calls & after that it was switched off. then i called customer care(Vishal Dey) & told him the problem.he said that in next 24 hours you will get a callback for your solution but now 72 hours have gone & I am still waiting for the callback .On calling up vodafone store, they says that it was a wrong information & 899 plan is not completely unlimited. If it is not then why your Executive told so and convinced a Loyal Customer for your Services Like me. This is indeed very shameful act on her behalf and as a Organization as big as yours, We don't expect such mistakes. Please do the needful and the take the corrective measures ASAP as the matter is haunting me Day & Night and which in turn is making me believe that this is a case of Fraud that has been done with me.

Awaiting your Apt & Fast response in this regard,

                                Regards

                                  Sir
With due respect I want to say that, i have received an sms from Vodafone cellular service that my MCI (Missed Called Alerts) have be activated, though I haven't registered for that.
Hence they have deducted Monthly amount of Rs 30 from my account.
When contacted customer care, they, too, being rude and indifferent towards the issue said that nothing can happened towards the same

Vodafone SIM Card — sim registration

I am very very unhappy with the vodafone service. Firstly my sim card that which i've been using past 3 years is deactivated for some document submission. Then it takes about a month for it to get activated and my previous account balance and tariff is lost.

This is fine, but then again my number is deactivated for non submission of documents.and my account balance is made zero.

                                    very bad.
