sir,
i am a vodafone customer having no [protected]. i had taken the vodafone no. 2 months back and i am suffering from the starting. Just a few weeks back i recharged my phone with rs 11 sms pack that gave 111 sms free per week then after a week from my balance 11 rs got deducted without any information, when i asked cust. care representative he told me that according to scheme it will get deducted automatically after a week and also told me that i[censored] get your cell recharged with a 35rs sms pack..rs11 sms pack will get deactivated automatically following this i got my cell recharged with a 35rs sms pack on 7th of july..but to my surprise on 8th of july again 11rs got deducted from my balance. i again then contacted customer care and one of your representative told me the process to get rs11 sms pack deactivated, he also assured me that after i deactivate my 11rs sms pack, my 35rs sms pack that i recharged on 7th of july will again get activated. on 12th of july i deactivated on rs 11 sms pack but still my balance get deducted as soon as i msg. on asking a customer care representative he gives me the reason that my 35rs sms pack has got deactivated and to activate it again i will have to again recharge my sim with rs 35 sms pack. Now plz tell me, who is responsible for my loss of 35rs that i spent earlier on sms pack that i didn`t even used due to your customer care representative`s wrong statements.i didn`t knew that vodafone`s service is so poor and they could misguide their customers to this extent by giving false and incomplete statements. i am repenting on my decision to take vodafone connection now and i will never recommend vodafone to anyone in the future..i want you to listen the conversation that i had with your customer care representatives on 12th, 7th and one earlier date that i don`t remember and take the desired action against them respectively and also please improve your representatives so that they don`t misguide some other in the future. plus i want you to COMPENSATE ME FOR THE 35RS SMS PACK that got wasted due to your reprentatives incomplete statements and negligence.I hope you will reply me to the earliest and will take the necessary action so that i dont get forced go to the CONSUMER COURT due to your delay.

Vodafone — Wrong information leading to Monetary Loss.

SKU 295 plan is no more fully functional because of wrong information provided by customer care executive.
I was told that getting scheme of Rs 48 activated will not hamper my earlier plan of SKU295
Now they are denying to revert it back.

I need a resolution for the same.

Vodafone — Customer care executives providing wrong information

Customer care executives providing wrong information when I have purchased new sim card through him and he has activated different plan on my sim card.

I just wanna describe the Worst Customer Service Experience i've ever had and I know Pen is Mightier than a sword... And, the bad service was from the Mobile Phone Service Provider, a.k.a., VODAFONE...

Today(10/7/09, 21:00 hrs, I.S.T), I happened to commit the biggest sin of my life.. Call the Vodafone Customer Care... Not because i was jobless, but i was not able to make calls... Every time I dialed a number, i get an error as "NETWORK BUSY"... To me, the network is Vodafone... I called the customer care number:[protected].. And i land up to a great Customer Service Rep.. BADRI... God knows what kinda people vodafone recruits.. Damn guy, never understood English... I had to repeat myself 100 times... Then he came up saying, "I"M UNABLE TO HEAR YOU, DISCONNECT AND CALL US BACK" and the Customer service rep disconnected the call... Then I had to call them back.. I was unable to call anybody else other than the god damn vodafone customer care.. Now we've another person BASHA.. I tell him the entire story, he kept interrupting and without allowing me to speak... den he asked me to try with another mobile phone and call 'em back.. I actually tried that already.. The minute i said that to him he was like "ARE YOU LYING".. I was really angry, called him and hung the call.. 30-minutes later, same problem, called back the customer care again.. MY stinking fate, reached the same guy.. "Badri", who refused to put me to his manager, then placed on long hold and disconnected the call...

Then I realized, Vodafone does recruit good people... I Spoke with UdayaKumar.. He was very polite.. That too a customer like me.. He asked me what was required, listened to me and responded accordingly and made sure that my issue was fixed.. I spoke with his manager Gopinath, to give him a pat..

But the experience i had with the other two guys was miserable.. Tat too with me!!!. I do the same job...customer service as well... But i felt like shooting myself when i went through such customer service agents.. felt ashamed of myself... If i was their i wuld fire tehem right away...

BUT.. No more vodafone... I'll say this to everybody I know.. I cannot expect to reach UdayaKumar each time... Vodafone Customer Service On the whole.. SUCKS...

I am a customer of Hutch / Vodafone Essar Company INDIA for nearly 6 years my Vodafone number is [protected].

Recently I have changes my number from a post paid to Prepaid. My sim card was activated after having needed to approach the VODAFONE STORE ( madhapur ) 4 –5 times in that month. They have activated the SIM “[protected]” on 19 June 2009 and I was assured that the services were activated. I was able to recharge on 20th June and was able to use the services till 27th June.

On 27th, without any prior notice, all my services were barred. I was unable to reach the customer care as the customer care number 111 was not functioning and the other number [protected] was also unreachable (barred). No one from the VODAFONE ESSAR contacted me with the reason for disconnection.

When tried to reach customer care from another number, they were not able to tell the reason for disconnection.

On 29th of June I had to walk to the VODAFONE STORE ( madhapur, hyderabad ), they told that some documentation was not submitted

      1) When converting the Phone from Post Paid to Prepaid, No one from the VODAFONE ( madhapur ) told that I need to submit the proofs (I was their customer for the last 5 years as a post paid user were they providing the service with out proofs?)

      2) They have not asked me to signed any paperwork for the conversion

      3) At the time of handing over the SIM they have not asked me for any documentation not told that it is required

      4) They have activated the SIM allowed recharge; offers for SMS, phone calls were made from that phone.

      5) All of a sudden with out any prior intimation how can they disconnect my services?

      6) How could VODAFONE ESSER be so unprofessional to make customers wondering why the services been barred while accepting Re-changes into the same de-activated account.
      7) Why are they so unprofessional to provide means by which customer Care can be reached.

      8) Why does customer have to suffer or the immature behavior of the Vodafone Essar Company Mobile phone is used for Emergences purposes, when being disconnected without prior intimation, are they taking responsibilities for misshapes for phone not being handy?

      9) The Customer Care reluctance to help their customer is Quite OPPOSITE to their Caption “ Happy To Help”.

VODAFONE ESSAR Cannot take it for granted that customer are help less and Do not effort to take chance with service utilities which are used for emergency purposes. THEY HAVE NO RIGHT TO PUT CUSTOMERS IN RISK WITH THEIR UNPROFFISIONAL MANNERS.

My kind request is that proper action needs to be taken on VODAFONE ESSAR

      To, The manager
      Vodafone india

My name is Savio Dcruz. My late vodafone number was [protected] which i discontinued using due to pathethic service. Then i started receiving collections calls from ur so called legal department day in and day out. I finally walked into a vodafone store at jb nagar andheri east and made a cash payment on 28/12/08 -14:25:11 hrs for 850(receipt acknowledgement no - br479). The total outstanding due was 844.ur company owes me rs 5 which i havnet received yet. What i receive everyday is a phone from ur 3rd grade legal department asking me to pay the outstanding amount of 844. ive told them so many times .Infact the day i made the payment at the vodafone store. I specifically told him that i dont need to receive even a single call again. he did put some notes in his system. May be that pc got formatted or something. I am totally mentally harassed by ur legal department and would need a compensation for the pain ive gone through. Hope this is heard .

Vodafone Essar India — LIFELONG VALIDITY

I Dr N.V.RAMAMURTHY, HOLD, [protected], WHICH IS LIFE LONG VALIDITY TAKEN IN JUNE 08 WHERE I NEED NOT RC WITH RS200 EVERY 6 MONTHS STILL IT IS DISCONNECTED ON 25.3.09, WITHOUT ANY NOTICE OR SMS OR VERBAL INFORMATION, IT IS UNFAIR ON THE PART OF VODAFONE INDIA, PL, RESTORE MY NUMBER, ORELSE, I MAY HAVE TO APPROACH TRAI, OR THE, MEDIA, NO OTHER NET WORKS DOES LIKE THIS TO THEIR CUSTOMERS.
      Hello Ramamurthy,

This is Anitha from Chennai. I got a same kind of vodafone connection with life long validity in Tirunelveli, TamilNadu. First when I got it, I was not informed about this information (Recharge once in every six months) from the Dealer. when I had to recharge for the first time for the Talk Time, I got a msg saying that, you need to recharge it every six months for min Rs.200 for the account to be in Active after six months. As I already got the phone connection, and gave the contact details to all friends and in office too, I didn't want to change it and using the same. But, the thing I want to mention here is, they are SUPPOSED to tell this information while getting the connection which is apparently hidden from the customers by the dealers. Hence I do agree with you for the complaint on vodafone. But I don't think vodafone can do something in this. Because, it can not get assurance from the dealers that they will give the proper informations to the customers. I also don't tell that it is not a problem of vodafone. They can rectify this by, giving some forms to the dealers for every connections, the customers should fill that and then customers should agree for all these and then they can sign and get the connection.I don't know how far it will be possible. But it is just my opinion by which Vodafone can reduce bad feedback on them from the customers.

vodafone essar india — Issue Legal notice though it's their mistake

      Dear Sir/Madam,

I along with my friends has taken a new Post Paid Connection([protected]) in the month of March.
Since then I was recieving few Junk messages (Around 300-400 messages per day). You can imagine the frustration of mine because of these unwanted messages.
Hence I reported the same to Customer Care in the same month.

I clearly mentioned them that I am not going to pay the bill unless the issue gets resolved. Though the issue is not resolved, without any failure I have paid the bill for March. But while paying my bill, i again clearly mentioned them that the issue has to be resolved or else i wont pay the bill for next month.

I have lodged numerous complaints on the same issue, but everytime i got the reply from executives that "The issue will be resolved in 4 days",but it didnt happened in the span of next three months, still I have paid the bill for April and May.

Because of this junk messages, I have to swith off or keep my mobile Silent which resulted in missing many important calls; infact i have missed certain important business calls.

I will be getting a numerous remainders for not paying the bill, but unfortunately no one bothers about the progress of my complaint.

I have raised numerous complaints regarding this problem and also there will be proofs of call recordings between me and customer care executives from Vodafone.

When this final bill is generated, the amount initially is 726/-,but now with fines it became 1139/-.
It is not that i cant pay bill of 726 rs, its just that i want the issue to be resolved. But unfortunately Vodafone approached in a legal way rather than focusing on resolving the issue.

Since Four years I have been using Vodafone Prepaid I have never faced any issue. That is the reason I have taken one new postpaid connection. But that resulted in this way.

For any further clarifications please reach me on [protected].

      Thank you.

      Best Regards,
      Jaya Krishna

Vodafone Essar India — Not flexible to migrate from postpaid to prepaid

      Hi,

This is Bhageerath from Hyderabad. I have vodafone postpaid connection ([protected]). My usage is very less and it is not even crossing the monthly rental so i wanted to migrate to Prepaid. I have contacted customer care to check the process to migrate from Postpaid to Prepaid but to my surprise executive told me that there is no such facility of migrating from postpaid to prepaid. I wonder when a prepaid connection can be converted to postpaid why can't they migrate postpaid connection to prepaid. When other operators like Airtel are providing flexibility to their customers to migrate from postpaid to prepaid or viceversa, why this facility is not available in only Vodafone. This is clearly cheating their customers.

So i request concerned authority to take necessary action so that the above mentioned flexibility can be provided to Vodafone Subscribers as well.

      Regards,
      Bhageerath

It's possible. Let's collect list of people who wants to do that and try to get petition from consumer court and TRAI to make migration transparent and easy.

vodafone essar india — Wrong and overbilling of internet

      Dear Vodafone

Myself Nimesh Sharma, a Vodafone subscriber since long, and a good contributor to ARPU, a management graduate from a very prominent B-School in India, worked as a journalist for 1.5 years, handled a startup company, and now working with a education & training firm as Corporate Liaison Officer, and Trainer Mobilizer. My parents are both lawyers. My Vodafone no. is [protected], and Customer relationship no. is 1.20711636.

I am writing with a very heavy mind but high hopes, after being disappointed by lot of Vodafone Stores and customer care executives. Hope you will get the point that I am trying to send across.

The story starts mid of last year- 2010. I had got Vodafone Live (GPRS) activated on my Sony Ericsson K530i, primarily for emailing through gmail application, and for minor googling. It was serving my purpose, as for other bigger uses of internet, I have unlimited internet at home and office.

Suddenly, I get this bill from Vodafone which mentions some humgama download pack which I ‘allegedly’ downloaded (I don’t even know what is that pack for), with a charge of Rs 150. And this was separate from VFL charges of Rs 200 pm. I made a complaint at Vodafone, but it was ignored, as they insisted that I downloaded it (amid my very hectic schedule, comprising home, office, social work, family time, discussion of new business plans etc).

(Amidst my hectic workload, do you think I have time or bandwidth for such crappy things, which Vodafone launches for college students? And ya, there is no kid at my home, who would do this, just my parents. And my phone remains with me 24 hours- switched on and on non-vibration / non-silent mode. I reply to emails even at 2 am in the night. )

This continued for months after that. After 3-4 months I made a strong complaint, and Vodafone executives accepted their mistake and had to give me waiver of Rs 500 for that. They requested me to deactivate it (even though I hadn’t activated it). I complied with their request- Twice. Both times, I get a message – “this service is already Deactivated on your phone”.
This problem continued with charges varying between 150 to 250, till I bought a Blackberry Curve 8520 for me, as I had heavy email activity in my new job. Till date, I don’t have an idea, what that pack means.

I got subscribed to Blackberry Prosumer Lite (BBPL), because full internet service at Rs600 was very expensive for me. The customer care Exec (CCE) told me that he has deactivated the VFL on my number, and activated BBPL. Fine.

I have configured 7 email accounts on that, including personal and official, and I have heavy emailing use on that, with 100s of emails , messages and chats of all kinds in inbox every single day. I constantly miss the full internet as I cant view so many links, from emails. Vodafone Live (VFL) was atleast allowing to me use internet fully.

Now I get a bill, which mentions charges of Rs 200, for using VFL, while I had got deactivated by your CCE and technically I can’t use it on a Blackberry. I again asked CCE to deactivate it, and asked why hadn’t they deactivated it earlier when I had asked them. He had no answer.
The problem exists till date. In between when I again tried to get it deactivate, there was an error on Vodafone’s part, and my BB service got deactivated (no, billing wasn’t the issue). I thought it was because I had got VFL deactivated, so I sent an SMS for activation of VFL. But it didn’t give me BB service back. My work got stuck. I missed so many business emails, and messages, from my office team, all of whom have blackberry, with full BIS.

For three days, there was no BB service only on my phone (all other team members phones had BIS working), and all CCEs suggested me to do various things on BB, one of which worked in between for 2 hours.

After that, one bad day, I see in my bill, a charge of Rs 800 for using GPRS. I called up CCE, and ask them hows this possible, when I just have a basic BIS plan. They insisted that I have used it, though they couldn’t prove it as their “system was getting updated and not accessible” (as always). They don’t agree to any of what I say.

FYI, I still depend on wi-fi in my office to get full internet on my Blackberry, in which case I find it better to use laptop thru wi-fi, for higher uses of internet.

Now, without using any uncivilized language here, I would like to tell you that – had I known that there was a way to use the internet through GPRS, which I craved for, I would not have missed all those links, and websites that I wanted to access on my Blackberry, during my journeys.

(FYI, I had used such GPRS in my earlier phone, when I did not have VFL pack of Rs200. I had got a bill of Rs 500, and I had paid for it, without any complaints. I have even paid for some sundry packs, which I was made to subscribe to, and amount was small)

For another month, I got such unwarranted charges of Rs 900, for which all the same arguments apply.

Now, adding up the all amounts of hungama downloads (150-250 each), Vodafone live (after I bought blackberry), blackberry GPRS charges (1700), the final figure comes to approx Rs.2800.
Since last two months, I was trying to get some solution, and had paid my bills upto the valid amount. As of today, I have paid all my bills, excluding this amount.

For your convenience, I have attached all my previous 10-12 bills since November last year, for your reference. Please go through them, and let me know if you need some help with understanding the errors. I have also attached last two payment receipts, which reduces the billing amount to Rs.2804 /- net.

I don't have a complaint number, as my complaint wasn't registered, VF CCEs said the complaint is not valid, and blamed me for not paying and not understanding.

Now, my request to you is to either
      - Take back my number -[protected] & cancel it, OR

      - Give me a good reason to keep my number and keep paying these huge unwarranted charges, OR

      - Deduct this amount of Rs 2800, and ask me to port my number to some other provider

      - Deduct this amount of Rs 2800 from my final bill, and keep me as subscriber.

If you are following last option, please also make sure, that the other sundry charges, like VFL and GPRS (which is very silly and idiotic, When one cant technically use it) are deactivated and not charged to me, unless you teach me how to use them. In any case, I am not paying these charges, when I haven’t used or subscribed to the services even remotely.

Lastly, as the last resort, as I am fed up of talking to whole team of CCEs, and visiting VF stores, I am game for any means to prove and win my case, including a consumer court case, if Vodafone wants one.

In Essence, I am only asking for my right. If I am given that, I’ll be happy to continue without creating more problems, as I have been.

      Yours Truly

I told him to as I have deactivated immediately when I know so update my balance, then he told me it is not possible and he can't do anything for that.

Vodafone — Activate Caller tune without confirmation

These mobile phone companies are hiding secret codes.I did not know that if you are calling someone and you press aster(*) that ring tone will be copied and apllied to your phone. This happened with me and they deducted Rs30.
They have never sent any SMS regarding this secret code so how can a common man know about it who has no reach to television and newspaper. They never ask for confirmation and will just activate the ring tone.

          Hi,
I don't know weather you guys aware this. I have prepaid Vodafone in chennai. i registered with ICICI bank for mobile banking for any mobile alerts. when I try to register( add payee) i never get confirmation code. i tried this almost 3 days/8 times like remove and add. i sent mail to ICICI customer care they asked me to check with mobile operator. later i came to know this cheater Vodafone, not allowed to receive message then we have low balance that is below 50Rs. This is really makes consumers as mad, why such a policy? i really fed up with Vodafone. and one more issues was, i dont know how the called tune was enabled for me.. stupid system they have... pressing a singe digit number its makes enable caller tune... and they simply deduct amount from our balance(30rs). if we want to disable, we need to send SMS to them. for taking money they have simple system, for stop taking money they complicated system. I would suggest one thing to CEO/owner of Vodafone, instead of doing this cheating business better go and beg infront of all the Indian houses. I really fed up/frustrated with Vodafone.

            Dear sir/ Madam,

            1. I have been using Vodafone postpaid Connection from the last 3 years. My No is:- [protected]

            2. I paid my last month bill on Date:[protected] and Time: 18:56:45, of Rs.2065/- from my Credit-Card, and after 2 hours my Outgoing service is activated.
And my Bill Pay Transaction Id is: PR-1-[protected],
Bill Pay Location:-Vodafone Store Prabhadevi 1,

            3. My Postpaid plane Monthly Rental is Rs.250, this is group plan and Other Call Charge is (50Paise Per-Minute), My Vodafone Mobile Credit Limit of Rs.2500/-.

            4. Date:[protected]:-
After all this thing I have made call to my group number this is absolutely free for me, and some other numbers also, and then I checked my bill is Rs.2/-

            5. Date:[protected]:-
In the morning I make one call to this Vodafone no: - [protected] for one minute only at 10:30 am and I checked my bill is Rs.102/.
Then I call to (111) customer care and ask to Vodafone Executive why my bill amount is showing Rs.102/-, this guy told me I can’t help you because when your bill is generated then we can explain you why this is happened with your No...
And after that I didn’t call to any number, after few hours again I checked my bill at 2:05pm and my bill was Rs.304/-. I shocked when I saw Rs.304/-. I directly go to nearest Prabhadevi Vodafone Store for doing complaint about my problem and I took 1-Token & go to talk with Vodafone executive, this guy told me same thing, I can’t help you because when your bill is generated then we can explain you why this is happened with your Number. If it’s our mistake or bill showing wrong amount your money will automatic credit in your account. I told him ok no problem.

            6. Date:[protected]:-
From the past TWO DAYS, I thought my bill is coming so high without my using.
Today also this problem with Vodafone, I am facing. Now the new exorbitant problem came to me, my outgoing call is deactivated and when I spoke to Customer-Care about it, they just used to tell me that, YOUR OUTGOING CALL HAS BEEN DEACTIVATED BECAUSE OF YOUR BILL AMOUNT OF Rs.9, 909/-
I tell to Vodafone executive How Come my bill is Rs.9, 909/- BECAUSE MY Vodafone Mobile Credit Limit is Rs.2500/-.

            7. PLEASE HELP ME WHAT CAN I DO.
NOW I HAVE TEMPORARILY DISCONNECTED MY NUMBER:- [protected], FROM WORLI VODAFONE STORE.

            8. Please take action on it within 5 days, otherwise only one option I am thinking of, and that's to LEAVE THE MY ALL VODAFONE NUMBERS PERMANENTLY.

            Thanks,

Vodaphone is fraud. I have pre paid vodaphone and they keep adding value added services on their own, and then they dont even cancel it when requested. FRAUD.

They make it very difficult to reach a manual operator.

And after an argument with their customer care executive, now they have blocked my phone's access to their manual customer care executive. FRAUDS.

i have a vodafone postpaid connection ([protected]) since 2005. it was gratifying to note that the service was good all these years. but last month, i received a call regarding plan change. a life time plan was suggested for Rs.500/- availing which the vodafone executive told me that my monthly charges will be down by 40%. but when i received my latest bill, i was in for a shock. not only was the monthly charge high but the bill amount exceeded the previous 3-4 months' bill. when contacted customer care, they coolly replied that the 500 rupees cannot be refunded. the executive was unable to provide proper information, casually gave an email id and asked us to register a complaint. this is not becoming of a reputed company like vodafone. they are answerable to the charges failing which i am planning to move to another service provider. they also had the audacity to call us last week and inform about another plan of add-on connection which when again inquired the executive told me that there was no scheme like that. what is this contradiction? i fail to understand. vodafone should refund that Rs.500/- and pay for the mental agony of the customer.

I am currently having a Corporate plan of Vodafone for which the minimum monthly rental is 199. For Bill period – 04-06-09 to 03-07-09, there is a misc credit / charges of Rs. 738.98 being charged.
                    1) What is the explanation for charging such an exorbitant misc credit/charge of Rs 738.98. There is no previous due on me when I have been paying all my bills on time ?
                    2) Why wasn’t this being informed to me previously prior to changing to this plan. Why this amount cropped up after 3 billing cycles ???
                    3) I was told (while verification from Vodafone when the plan was changed to Enterprise Special 199) that any adjustments/credits would be adjusted in the next billing cycle..which was subsequently adjusted, and if not, its an error on the part of the service provider, not the customer (Why should a customer suffer ??).
                    4) How come suddenly such a large amount has been charged out of nowhere. Do you expect customers to accept such amounts at the face value without ever informing them. This is not expected from a service provider of international presence like ‘Vodafone’ and is thus a cause for debate/scrutiny.
                    5) What kind of miscellaneous amount is this (Any breakup for it). Why I am being charged for services other than that being used (Monthly charges/Usage Charges/Messaging charges/Conf call charges/Roaming charges etc). This is ridiculous to say the least.

                    Vodafone — ridiculous billing

                    Hi,
I am Sagar Jhobalia, a vodafone user since past 4years. Currently I have a plan that offers me free 1000messages and then ps.30 per national/local message.I have been charged at ridiculous rates for all the messages. Also every month without fail I am being charged an additional Rs.5 for an international message.I have no international contacts!!
The vodafone helpline kept me on hold for 20mins,until I finally hung up.The vodafone outlet employees treated me with disrespect and seemed grudging to even answer my queries. Is this what vodafone a multi billion industry does to it's hapless clients? I am on the verge of switching to another service provider, one who actually provides service.
the same problem i am also faced with the Vodafone. i am also in 199 plan onmy third billin they charged 250 /- from for misc credit&charges which didnt informed to me preorly.and every month they are charging a amount of 48/- from on the name of internet usage which i am not using any internet on vodafone network. the vodafone people are big cheaters

I have sent the below last mail to Vodafone which is self explainatory. FRIENDS OF INDIA KICK OUT VODAFONE FROM THIS COUNTRY.

                      Dear Sirs,
I regret to state that the services, attitude and behaviour of Vodafone has gone beyond acceptance. I only pray and wish to see Vodafone getting drowned in its own act day by day. PLEASE LISTEN YOU ARE JUST ONE COMPANY OFFER SERVICES AND TODAY O TAKE DECISION TO KICK ON YOUR BALLS AND THROW YOU OUT.

I HAD A PRE-PAID PHONE FOR OVER A YEAR NOW. ALL PAPERS WERE GIVEN TO YOUR DEALER WHO AFTER VERIFICATION GOT THE NUMBER ACTIVATED. FOR OVER PAST ONE YEAR I HAVE BEEN RE-CHARGING EVERY MONTH. AND TO MY SHOCK WHEN I DIALED TO FIND OUT THE BALANCE IN MY ACCOUNT I WAS TOLD BY ONE "" VOICE THAT MY OUTGOING CALLS HAVE BEEN DEBARRED DUE NO RECEIPT OF DOCUMENTS FROM ME.

VODAFONE WERE YOU GUYS SLEEPING FOR ONE YEAR IF YOU DID NOT GOT THE PAPERS?
WHO THE HELL TOLD YOU TO KEEP THE PHONE ALIVE AND RECHARGE IT EVERY MONTH?
YOU HAVE ON YOUR OWN STARTED DEDUCTING MONEY FOR DIFFERENT SERVICES WHICH WERE OF NO USE TO ME AND WHICH WERE NEVER REQUESTED FOR?

I am requesting the citizens of this country to kick Vodafone out of this country as soon as possible.

                      Regrets,

I am using my mobile no [protected] since long time more than 7 years. On 4th July 2009 the mobile was disconnected. On 5th.July I have deposited Rs. 500/-at Videophone store Karol Baghtransaction id. DKBG-2-[protected]. I was informed that mobile will be activated within 2 hours (Due Date 29.6.2009)Phone was not activated up till now.(active call barring massage is coming) No incoming & outgoing call allowed.

I made a call on customer care 111, that phone is not activated and I got a reply that a mobile no. [protected] was a unpaid and so we have disconnected this no. ie.[protected] my running number.

Dear sir this number was allotted to me as a ad-on number and i was misguieded and i was told that you will pay only call charges no caller id, no rent. But the bills say something elseThe payment was through Bank ECS I have never notice the bill amount since long time. When I have see my bank statement i was shocked. I was not doing my calls not more then 50-100 Rs.But bill charges were between 300-400.They have charged approximate more than Rs.3000/ extra. It is a case of fraud. I was also told that we have activated web accessing service on your mobile and we charging extra amount..
Why this service is activated on my mobile even i did not know to handle the mobile completely and my mobile is a basic model mobile, Who said to them to activate such service. No one come to ask me for doing so. They start blackmailing and disconnect my phone and asking me for payment as i had paid advance rental for one year.
I have my total business on phone and it is business phone. I requested to m/s vodafone that Kindly immediately activate this phone within ONE HOUR because it has no dues([protected]) other wise i will loose my business.

                          Hi,

Its Kannaperumal.S, Vodafone Customer. Rate Cutter Rs 62, was charged on 05.07.09, for my mobiles(two) #[protected] and[protected].

I registered comlaint thr' cutomer care and Service Registration #[protected]. I got sms stating by 09.07.09 issue will be resolved.

Its rediculous to hear about this. Why are you taking three days to resolve an issue. Till that time I will lose my rate cutter benefit.

Please do the need the needful.

                          Thanks and regards,

I recharged my mobile for 200 + 65. Unfortunately the shop guy done for 300 + 65. After two days from vodafone they deduct the amount in my account(Rs.200 instead of Rs.100). Then I called the customer care thrice and all of them told its deducted only one time. Unfortunately I called at last one guy told me from vodefone they deduct the amount twice instead of one time. So I shouted them regarding this. In the next day my friend call to my number and he got the message "Number temporarly disconnected". I learn a lot from vodafone.

I am going to your Vodafone Office at least 9-10 times for transfer this card from postpaid to prepaid and one then I have given 1 card and this card is prepaid and it is active on 2-3 days but your office mistake & he is given me the post paid card then I am going to your office and give him to this card & took new prepaid simcard but till date this is closed. What can I do now?

I am prepaid customer of Vodafone and my mobile number is [protected]. I purchased a rupess 35, (350 local sms recharge card, Serial number[protected] on 30th of June 2009 and when i tried to activate it, it was not activated. I made several complaints to the customer care on 1st of July, 2009. Although they assured that my problem will be solved, nothing has happened till now. After that, I m trying the customer care number [protected] daily, but they are not providing the option of talking to the customer care executive. Although i recharged my account, money is being deducted from my balance for sending sms. Moreover, the Account gets recharges only after several hours of recharging.

I shifted to vodafone recently just because i thought Vodafone is the best available option but their careless attitude has forced me to change my opinion. i would be very thankful, if my complaint will be taken care of.

                                    Thanking you,

Yeah, .. you are correct.. most of the mobile network operators are doing the same.. I got up one day and my balance was zero .. I remembered my balance was 460+ the last night, and the next day it was zero.. called up cc, but no answer from them, , I kept on calling them, and finally they blacklisted my mobile no. :O

I received a call from Vodafone on 26/06/2009 saying that we have a plan to get your number to be converted from pre paid to post paid, i agreed to it and on the same day one of their executives came to my office he collected my PAN card copy and Rs. 250 from me. He gave me receit no. 27530 . He confirmed that my number will be activated within 72 hours. its been more than 1 week now, but nothing has happened. now when I called up on the customer care and i was told that my documents are invalid and my verification is invalid i need to resubit my documents again and no person will come now, i have to go myself and submit. and if i want a refund of Rs.250 then i have to wait for 45 days. Its been from last 28 years i ve been putting up on the address which i gave and why the correct documentation was not collected at the very first time, and why this thing was told to me after 9 days that too when i confirmed it. This is the pathetic service. Vodafone is making a fool of its customers and cheating people.

not available in the Global Direct office.

On 10-11-09 I received a call from Global Direct (Tel:[protected]to verify the details provided by me
and to say that my phone would be deactivated after my cheque is cleared.

On 12-11-09 my number was de-acivated at 5.45p.m.without any intimation to me.

On 13-11-09 I contacted Global Direct and was informed that my number would be activated

On 13-11-09 I also contacted Vodafone call centre but was disconnected twice and the call
centre personnel refused to register my complaint. On contacting them a third time I
was told that my number would be activated by 14-11-09 after receiving a new post-paid SIM Card.

If this is the unprofessional behaviour from Vodafone & Global Direct I would like to change
my service provider. You are requested to refund the amount of Rs.350/- paid to Global
Direct as well as the balance of approximately Rs.935:00 in my prepaid card.

I am a working woman with senior citizens depending on me. I am without a mobile phone
                                      for the last two days.

Vodafone converted my Prepaid number to a Corporate Postpaid number on my friends request, they have even changed the name on the connection, it was under my name for 5-6 years, and now its under my friends name, They didn't ask for my consent then, and now when I m asking for converting the number back to Prepaid on my name , they are talking about several formalities to be done and asking for my friends consent and documents, If they didn't take the consent while changing a connection from Prepaid to Postpaid, why do they need the consents now.??

I have submitted the documents to Vodafone executive twice in month month for pre to post migration.
1 months has past but still no action has taken.
When i call on customer care number and press 9 to speak to agent they disconnected my call.

Now when I asked from higher authorities they told me within 48 hrs my problems will be solved but nothing happened.

Now they are asking the documents for 3rd time.

I think they are miss using my documents (id proof) also i have signed on those papers they can use them as a id.

                                        Sir

I'm receiving anonymous calls from a range of nos. from past 2-3 months. All the nos. complain that i have sent an sms to them and when informing them that its not so they still call and give missed calls. If you can get information regarding there address and which service (ie, Vodafone or airtel or reliance etc) it would be very helpful.

The nos. are [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected].
