    Vodafone125 — call timing

    Dear Sirs,
    I am K D Takodara, since last 3 years with Vodafone. I purchased Vodafone125 handset for my wife. The problem with this handset is, when you end the call it continuous for more 2 seconds. This is not worth when you have to call to abroad. Means when I call to my uncle who is at Nairobi (KENYA) I wanted to call only for a minute, when it was showing 58 seconds I pressed RED button to cut the call but call ended at 1.01 means after 2-3 seconds. this is one of the wrost function. I thing this is the only reason when People fo not go for this handsets in my Group.
    I was about to go for more 5 handsets in my group. But this problem made me not to go for this.
    I hope that you will definately do somthing with this and reply me as soon as possible. My Mob.No is[protected]

    i am not getting free consumer free SMS from VODAFONE.
    This problem is going from sunday morning, i also gave complaint to near VODAFONE customer care but the problem is still not recovered. Please look on this...

    i want to inform u that i am an existing user of the vodafone handset no. vodafone 125. purchased on 25th may 2008. the handset has got some problems and the navigation keys are not working properly or should say are not working at all. the dealer from which it was purchased refused to get it done in the guarentee period and said to throw the handset. the name of the dealer is (ROOP RADIOS. nai sadak ujjain).

    I have bought the Vodafone model-125, four months ago. Bill No-205, Dated 26.07.2008. I am continuously facing the functional problem in the phone from when I have purchased. I have visited many times to the service center of Vodafone. My complaint no. is [protected]. After visited many times I got this complaint number otherwise no one is ready to give complaint number to me. No one is pay attention to me carefully. No one is giving the priority to my complaint. I am to much annoy with the service of Vodafone. I suffered a lot. Kindly support me.

      I m a customer of vodafone telephony services since last 4 years. Recently i got a letter from vodafone for the reversal of Rs 400 back in my account.
      For that reversal i had to make a payment which did. The letter mentioned that if i give the payment of my vodafone postpaid connection then i'll will be eligible of receiving a discount/reversal of Rs 400.
      I gave the payment as it was mentoned.
      Its been 4 months since i made the payment.But still i have not got any reversal as i was promised.
      I made a payment of Rs 3000 stiil no one in vodafone company comes out for any such help.
      Also a vodafone executive Mr. Shantanu Chatterjee and Renu working at vodafone okhla called me and promised such reversal.
      Now when i call these executives they dont respobd to my number .Either they pick my call n then drop it or their numbers always comes busy and they never respond to my problem.They just make me wait for a day n then again a day and den again..

      No one at vodafone is committed to the customers.They just want to benefit themselves or the company.

            Vodafone Mumbai mumbai made me submit documents twice over while applying for a new connection & still disconnected by service for some absurd reasons.
            while i had duly met the identity/address vedifications criterion by providing the requested documents, as askd by their staff. however they are really acting funny in demanding that i OBTAIN A NOC FROM MY EMPLOYEE FOR OBTAINING A PREPAID MOBILE CONNECTION.

            come on mobile connection is a commodity these days & its not like i am applying for a license to own a revolver.

            either the staff who handle such documentation have no brains at all or are hell bent in troubling the customers.

            i seriously regret having taken a connection from Vodafone & recommend others not to use thieir service. God bless you! if for any reason you have to interact with the bunch fo jokers who claim to be customer service agents.

            Yes you are totally right.. They are a bunch of jokers..

            My connection has been disconnected & this is the 7th time this is happening. I have provided my “Registered Rental Agreement” & have visited the vodaphone store several times & asked them to visit my premises as their office is opposite to my house, they refuse.

            The verification never seems to be done, & I have given specific instructions to call me before coming to do the verification. They never followed the same & disconnected again.

            The best part their bill comes to me on the same address.. fantastic ..!!

            I am regretting why i took this connection..
            I am 4 to 5 years vodofone customer. my mob.is no.[protected].in this period so much time I completed about the network, balance cutting, on display call cost, roaming rate in local mh & so many but not yet solution. vodaphone is sabse ganda network.
            when you call not display call charges on display.Due to vodafoe cutting the charges vodafone's mind.
            Now all network's did the low chargas in home network or mh roaming network but vodafone is high lavel company . His no need customers.
            arey guys dont go for vodafone. Bakwas service. They are making customers pay huge amounts of money. I think because of recession effect, they went to losses. For recovery they might be doing this. Instead they can beg directly.

              Respected Sir,

              I, Surendra Baid, Athgaon Guwahati, applied for a new vadafone connection ( Mb No. [protected]) with Lifetime plan on 01.06.09. At the the time of application i request for a sms pack of Rs.34/- which reduce the rate of all network sms i.e. the sms costs only .10 paisa local & national. i also again requested on 04.06.09 for the same on their Customer care no. 111 when i came to know that it was not activated. from the day i make complaint several times on their toll free no. 111 but till date i regret to say that neither it has been activated nor they reversed my bill. For this i have to pay more then 15 times for a single sms.

              I request you to look into the matter & pass a order to the company to revise the bill because i can not pay such extra charges.

              Your prompt action would be highly appreciated.

              Vodafone — sms pack not activated till today

              respested sir,
              i have made a request 4 sms pack on 21.7.08. but taht is not activated till today .the dealer told me it max takes 6 hrs. but acc to me it takes more than 18 hrs.

              pls solve this prob as sson as possible.

              My connection [protected]---was renewed with validity by paying Rs. 41/- in January 2011.
              The plan allowed me to have 150 SMS free per day.

              But recently it is erratic. Suddently on 1.3.2011, Vodofone charged for all SMS. When contacted they said it will be corrected and the amounts will be recredited.

              Again on Friday 11.3.2011 same thing happened. I personally visited Vodofone office and registered the enquiry. They promised that it will be corrected. I received msg saying the position will be corrected by 10.54pm on 14.3.2011.
              But on 12.3.2011 there was no SMS free. On 13.3.2011 sunday, the SMS were free, I felt easy.

              BUT TODAY 14.3.2011, AGAIN IN THE MORNING I CHECKED AND FOUND THAT ' SMS FREE ZERO'
              VODOFONE IS ERRATIC. THINKING OF MOVING TO SOME OTHER SERVICE PROVIDER.

                purchased Vodafone Mobile Number -[protected] (H[protected]) approxmately 3-4 months back from Mobile Com, Purple Plaza, Bibwewadi, Chaitraban, Pune.

                I given all details, Photo and Address Proof to the shop-owner the mobile got activated and used for almost 3 months without any hasle. Meanwhile your Customer Care called for verification and for other work or query I contacted your Customer Care as per procedure they asked my Name and Address and replied to my query.

                Nobody told me any mismatch in my details or non submission of the Customer Form as per TRAI guidelines.

                Recently this mobile's outgoing were barred, so I contacted to Customer Care they said no information on the reason. Then Incoming also barred, when contacted told no details for the reason.

                I contacted Mobile Com he asked me to submit the document again, which I did. But my mobile is not yet started and sho-owner asked me to visit Vodafone Store.

                Which I did today and visited Vodafone store, Pune-Satara Road, Pune. Representative there told that this number is discontinued and can't start this as well as she told and shown that the Mobile is registered in other person's name - someone as NANA BHIKAJI like that.

                I'm having my SIM with me, used until its last working. Then how come it is named on other's name?

                How the verification is taken place?

                Why not your Customer Care never mentioned mismatch, after asking my details everytime?

                Are you serious about TRAI guidelines?

                I need the reason of this gross negligence and lapse, after so many misuse and criminal usage of Mobile SIM Cards you are not taking serious steps to prevent such mistakes?

                I need explaination immediately.

                You may take appropriate steps.

                YOU WERE NOT SERIOUS ABOUT TRAI GUIDELINES WHILE VERIFICATION IS PROVED IN MY COMPLAINT. REST TRAI HAS TO DECIDE WHAT ACTION OR STEPS TO BE TAKEN TO AVOID SUCH FRIVELOUS INCIDENTS HAPPEN EVEN AFTER 26/11 INCIDENTS.

                I hope you will be more serious about such connections.

                I REQUEST HONBLE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA TO CONSIDER THIS AS PIL IN VIEW OF DANGER TO NATIONAL SECURITY.

                  I was a user of Vodafone and due to issues with anonymous phone calls for some Neha, Phani etc, i disconnected the vodafone services.
                  i was using [protected] post paid connection and wanted to completely terminate their services..i went to the Vodafone customer care center at the BTM Layout-bangalore and raised a request for cancellation.the cx care manager insisted on keeping the connections bu offerng some other plans, but somehow i could get it disconnected after stating all the issues i had with the number..
                  He said there are 2 options for disconnecting -one is i can pay the outstanding amount and the rental and get it disconnected at the spot..and other one to wait for the bills to get generated at the end of the month and then come to cx care center and pay..he said second option was better since the amount in bill will be lesser if its getting generated at the end of the months since i had opted for the 1rupee plan (30 rupee top up with 199 plan) and that if i pay at the spot as of that date, this benefit will not be given and that i have to pay the entire amount..
                  i just wanted to get rid of the service that i was ready to pay that extra amount and opted for 1st option .
                  He asked me to pay the amount of about Rs.720 and the manager said this is the final bill i have to pay and no more bills will come to me and that vodafne services will be disconnected in 24hrs time..
                  i have not used that number ever since then and got a new connection from Airtel.
                  But today on june 6th, some cx care person visited my house and claimed that i need to pay some outstanding amount of around Rs.1300..i told him that i had gone to cx care and disconnected the service with that 1st otion manger gave.
                  He was telling that there is no first option which manager told and that i need to pay this amount at the earlie ..otherwise he will sue me it seems..
                  This is not the kind of cx care we look forward from you..
                  i am not going to entertain this kind of nonsense any more from Vodafone..
                  please help me get this addressedby escalating to the top management of vodafone -India.

                    Hi,

                    I received an offer from Vodafone on 6th Apr 09 to make bill payment before 12th Apr and get SMS worth 50 free. I made the payment on 10th the bill received for APR 09 did not reflect the necessary credit of SMS'es. I enquired with an Customer care Executive who said it would reflect in the month of May 09 billing cycle. Again in May 09 billing cycle i found no Discounts enquired again this time first the Executive tried to turn tables and said terms and conditions apply to the offer.. This is no were mentioned in the SMS which I have saved in my cell. Finally when i read out the offer she appologised and said she is lodging a complaint. I wanted the complaint in an email which she refused but said she will send the complaint number via an SMS. I waited for 24 hrs and on not receiving it spoke to a supervisor named "Pratik" on 5th June 09 around 10 PM. He was also beating around the bush by talking about other offers sent to me on other dates while i was very clear with the date, time and the offer. Finally he also said conditions apply which is no where mentioned in the version of SMS sent to me. Finally frustrated i decided to take this issue ahead to which he challenged that his company can prove me wrong incase a complaint was filed against Vodafone.

                    Now I am serious about taking this issue legally and look fwd to the exact Govt authority that can help in deciding.

                      i have space for mobile tower
                      I want to register a complaint against a mobile tower installation in the residential complex on building 9B,Single Storey,Ramesh Nagar-110015.

                      The mobile tower is installed at a low height and as per supreme court ruling, such towers are illegal and should be removed.

                      Further to this, a large power generator is attached with the tower to supply un-interupted power in case of electricty failure. This generator produces enormous sound which becomes unbearable especially at night time when everybody is sleeping. Although there are no sound generating power generators are allowed after 10 PM but as this is attached to the tower, it swtich on automatically as soon as there is a power cut/failure.

                      When the tower was installed, no approval was taken from the neighbourhood.

                      As this tower pose major healt risk to children and old people continously exposed to the harmful radiations being emitted from the tower and noise pollution it spreads day and night, I am raising my voice through you to help us maintaining the healthy environment around us by removing this tower from the residential complex.

                      Please could you look at this complaint and escalate it to the right channel for proper action.

                        dear sir this is ashish sachan. Currrently i am working at vodafone telicom industry and i am belonging from Kanpur(U.P.). I applied for a votar ID card after some time i got it but in this card my date of birth is wrongly mentioned that 27-oct-1980 that is incorrect. Mine correct birth date is 27-oct-1989.
                        My card no. is TMS0420653.
                        So plz kindly tell me what can i do now as at the next year i am going abroad for a one from my office and i have to apply for passport and without votar id card i can not be able to apply for it.
                        so plz help out my concern i will be realy greatful to you.

                          I have been using vodafone & previously hutch prepaid for close to 4 years. Around 10 months back i was transferred to Hyderabad. I got a prepaid no. of Hy'bad but the vodafone sales executives lured me & converted my connection into a postpaid. After 6 months, I had to urgently leave A P as i got a new job in Delhi & had to report there urgently. In Delhi I requested the vodafone store staff to take my pending amount & deactivate my connection but they were very unprofessional in their approach & in place of helping me they were telling me to go to A P to get the connection deactivated. I wasted my three days trying to persuade & convince the Vodafone staff of different stores. I even made repeated STD calls to the vodafone Customer care of AP but to no avail. Now they are threatening me through Emails to pay this outstanding bill within 4 days or face legal action.

                          Please tell me can they prosecute me legally for not paying the outstanding bill?

                            They ask us to refer their website for rules and regulations / terms and conditions. But the frustating part is their site is never up ... been trying for the past 2 weeks, but no luck so far.

                            If i call them, the IVR disconnects without taking me to the customer care representative.

                                Hi

                                My name is Abhishek. My vodafone no is [protected]. I had got a corporate connection as iam working with Unisys and i have been given the plan details as Enterprise 199 FM CUG where my outgoing ISD charges are varied from Rs 6.40 to Rs 9.19. I got a call from Vodafone immediately after my connection got activated letting me know abt my connection. I had then specifically asked for a country called Slovenia (country code - 386) where i would be dialing frequently and was told that it would also be Rs 9.19. I also received a bill for the month ending May 2009 in which my call charges for the above said country reflected as Rs 9.91
                                per minute.

                                However now all of a sudden this morning I get a call from your credit team (a lady called Aliya [protected]) letting me know that the calls to the country code +386 would cost me Rs 45 per minute. When asked for more information as to why i was getting charged so much she bluntly asked to contact customer care for more information on this.

                                In this regard i feel cheated as it was not what was promised to me while taking the connection or while me getting briefed about my connection. I called up customer care in this regard and talked to few people (a lady called madhu, then another lady as i dont remember her name) who all promised me to transfer the call to their supervisor called Sarita and everytime i was put on hold for more than 10-15 minutes and later disconnected the call prompting me to dial customer care again. However was placed on hold and my call got disconnected again after making me wait for 10 mins and this made me impatient.

                                After this i decided call the credit team as i was getting nowhere.The people whom i spoke to in the credit team also did not know much about this issue and were not helpful at all in trying to resolve my concern and were very rude. The people whom i spoke to in the credit team were Aliya ([protected] who was very very rude) and then her superior called me and told her name was Preeti ([protected]) who also didnt help a bit other than giving me information that my charges are going to be Rs 45 per min and advising me to call customer care regarding any further clarification. I insisted with Preeti that i was charged Rs 9.19 in the bill ending May 2009 and she again told me she would not be able to do anything and said that this was going to be the charge (Rs 45 per minute) henceforth and also that before 3rd of June 2009 the charge for this country code (+386) was Rs 40 per min.

                                I called up vodafone again and spoke to Diwakar and the same thing repeated and was placed on hold for more than 20 mins after which i spoke to a person who called himself a Team leader and his name was Laxman. Laxman again put me on hold to check with the plan i was in and the cost i would incur for the calls made to that country. He too placed me on hold few times and then informed me that the charges would be Rs 10 per minute as it showed this in his system and apologized for the inconvenience caused and told me forget about what the people in credit team told me and that appropriate feedback would be given to the credit team. i thanked him for help and disconnected the call.

                                Again after 15 minutes Laxman called me and told me that whatever the credit team had told was correct and the information the customer care had was the wrong one as they in customer care dont have the updated information. This made me really upset as again i was left wondering whom to believe and whom not to and whom to contact to get my issue resolved. When i told Laxman about my previous bill he said that his system has a problem and he could not open my previous bill as he was getting a message 'Page Cannot Be Displayed on his computer'. He too asked me mail in my concern when asked for an authoritative person who could resolve my concern.

                                That is the reason iam writing this mail and i thought this would be my last option before i would file a compaint in consumer court with my previous bill amount where it clearly showed that i was charged Rs 9.19 for the calls made to country code +386. Morover the number i have been calling is another Vodafone number in Slovenia and iam not sure why Rs 45 should be charged to the consumers irrespective of the provider in that country. Also would like to bring to your notice that all providers like Airtel, Bsnl, Tata Indicom, Relience, Idea, Virgin and including your prepaid service in Vodafone also charge Rs 9.19 or Rs 10 per minute for the calls made to this country when only Vodafone Postpaid corporate customers get charged Rs 45 per minute.

                                Iam really not sure why this is the kind of service i get when I wanted to use a postpaid connection (for all of my life had been happy using a prepaid connection). Iam really dissappointed with the service i have so far got from Vodafone eventhough it has not been a month of me using your service and plan to move to consumer court seeking damages against the mental harassment and cheating i had to undergo and for the deficient service that was given to me by Vodafone. Hence i will wait for an appropriate response from an authoritative person in Vodafone before talking any further action.

                                  I agree, with customer going to consumer court. Iam working for Vodafone, at a BPO, as customer care (111). Most of the customers are frustrated due to lack of proper knowledge. At first hand, they are misinformed by Voda store. Then, the customer support executives don't want to talk about that, as customer will play the blame game., because if customer is irate, he will sent 'no' in customer satisfaction message, and the agent will suffer. Due to this, they also don't inform the customer abt exact status of the problem. and keep giving promises or says sorry for everyhting. we are supposed to talk less with customer, as AHT is a important parameter. In short, Vodafone should not give such work to BPO's.

                                    My name is Vaibhav Patwardhan I had faced worst experience with vodafone inspite of paying vodafone from 10 long years. Vodafone leaked out my personnel information to someone out side the organization and I have started getting threatening calls from money, killing my family etc. I am in serious trouble and not understand who is the person behind this. Vodafone also locks my call to the customer care to avoid contact between vodafone care and me. Whenever i got the threatening calls i was not able to contact vodafone care. The important concern is even my postal address has been leaked out and i am worried and staying with my family from one week so that nothing goes wrong with them. If someone can please help me out and kindly suggest what should be the legal action taken against this and avoid trouble against my family.                                     Sir,
                                    I am using the telecom services provided by you. I have been registered in DND list but I am still getting smses from various companies and unknown numbers whom I have not provided my number. Some of the companies are: TM-RBSdelhi, LM-Solly, AD-NIIT-ROH, TM-TATVKALA, [protected].

                                    I have complained about this many times at the customer care but no action has been taken yet. Please look into the matter.

                                      I m your a customer & using ur services. I having a problem from your side. Main thing is that "tell me why have u opend customer care center when you can't provided a better service to your own customer. My self Ramesh Kaushik from Gurgaon & my vodafone no. is [protected]. Few months ago, i paid some amount for extent my no. validity for life time but i can't using this services from side. Even i talk regarding this matter on customer care department, but i could able to get a satsfaction. There is Mr. Basant Sharma picks up my call & he say's " we have no idea regarding your tranction & we don't have any type of software to attend this types of problems. On the behalf of customer, i suggest you, kindly provided better services to your costomer. It is very beneficial for yourcomapny in the future. So plz check out my A/c & find the solutions regarding my problem. I think i will be get reply ASAP form your side.

                                        I CALLED UP VADAFONE customer care in bangalore. just to asak information regarding deactivation of SMS pack of 49. Agent named G.S. Rao (this was the name told by him) the way of respnd was rude.And he was showting at me and when i told him, to trnsfer his call to any superior he refused to do so.and he disconnect the call. and when i once again called another agent did the same thing he dint transfer the call. he just dissconnet the call. after keeping me on hold for more thasn 15 min.
                                        SUCH A THING IS SHAME ON THE PART OF COMPANY. AND HOPE SUCH THINGS DOSNOT REPEAT IN FUTURE.

                                        I HOPE THAT COMPANY WILL TAKE NESSARY ACTION TO THIS CASE.

                                        sub Regarding of irresposible vodafone custmercare.

                                        lost 5 years my self ([protected]) and family members also vodafone. About ur service, i contacted to manymore times [111 ] to this no about my following problems but no response from there

                                        1, i have recharged 148 plan last 28.07.2009, but not activeted that plan

                                        2, that time i call to our custmercare they have cut my call manymore times.

                                        3. Not activated conference call & I can't pickup waiting call.

                                        Because can you rectify my problem? Otherwise you may give another no or mail id as soon possible.
