Dear Friends,
My Number was [protected]- and misleading sales pitch from Vodafone.

This is with reference to the sales call from Vodafone pleading for Internet sales over Mobile, "sir please take it, its really fast etc etc ., " i have obliged ( now i regret though) to accept the Internet on mobile from Vodafone sales members.
I was clearly told i would be charged only Rs 0.10 ps per kb/ mb o[censored]sage and nothing else will be charged.
And i get to see my bill charged Rs99/- for no reason besides some 10/- for which i had done some experiments. Findind very tedious i have not ever tried that surfing again. Still i got my bill for december with another Rs. 99/- added - this time i am very sure i have not done any experiments and still they have some proof that i have used.

Now when i complained to the nodal officer - i got a response saying i have used the phone and they charge for the download i have done !! god knows what downloads i had transacted - neither do vodafone know what i have down loaded !! They seem to have a bill from their vendor " Hungama " and they billed me !
During my conversations i told very clearly if its not reversed please cancel my SIM card and close the chapter - Now i hear them saying i have to pay for another month of rental !! Just because they have not resolved my complaint nor de activated the number.

Whom should i approach for this ! Do i have to pay the Entire amounts ??
Who else will resppond with care in such cases ?

    would like to inform all concerned that 3 persons, one young lady (she said her name was Shweta) and two young men (one called himself Nilesh Shah) met my brother in law on 26th April, 09 at our residence in Chembur. They said that they were from GlobalDirect (one of them showed an ID of GlobalDirect)and were acting on behalf of Vodafone. They said that Vodafone wants to prevent their customers from migrating to other providers, and hence are making a very limited offer for only 40 customers (their quota) and that we would be last two.

    The offer was that against a cash payment of Rs 1200/ each, vodafone will bill us @ Rs.0.30 per minute for local calls. STD would be billed @ Rs1.00 per minute, and all ISD calls would be reduced by Rs. 1.99 per minute on the published ISD tariff. The amount of Rs 1200 paid as advance would be adjusted @ Rs 200/- per month in the bill

    Accordingly they were paid Rs 2400/ for two of our vodafone nos.and a katcha receipt on our vodafone bill was given by them. This group said that we would be receiving a call from GlobalDirect or Vodafone the next day for confirmation and change of plan.

    Subsequently we checked out this matter with Vodafone the next day, and found that they had no such scheme at present, and that this is a fraud and a scam.

    In our opinion, this is being done by some ex-employees of GlobalDirect (Hopefully not by the company)
    and if required we are prepared to identify these fraudsters, if GlobalDirect can send someone with photographs of their present employees, and or those that have left them (including any trainees).

    This fraud will continue to be perpetrated by these youngsters, and they need to be arrested by the police, and stopped.

    We would like GlobalDirect to clarify whether it is true that they are promoting this scheme or whether it is a fraud. If so they should immediately cooperate with us and other persons who have been conned in a similar manner and bring the culprits to book.

      I have VODAFONE mobile connection(Hyderabad, A.P.). MY MOBILE NO IS [protected].ON 21TH April NIGHT i have reacharge through a vodafone retailor of amount 48.00 and i should get 40 minutes STD to used in one month.That Transaction ID is AP[protected].But i did not get that one and i called to vodafone consumer care and i never connected with a vodafone executive and it always connect with a IVR service.So i went to vodafone office and i talk with the manager also.But he told that they did not hava so strong database and escape from that.And also did not take any acction and i give him the complain in written and i asked them to sign with signature and again take 30 minutes more.but i still did not return back that one.

        Dear Sir/Madam,
         
        I have a complaint against Vodafone to make.  My mother has a vodafone lifetime prepaid connection no. [protected].  On 14th Apr 09, my mother got a message from Vodafone that Rs. 45/- has been deducted against a monthly subscription of Caller tune.  The catch point out here is my mother never replied to their message/voice calls for subscribing to such services.  Hence, on account of this I have following complaints to make:
        1. Value Added Service of Caller Tune was activated without taking consent of my mother which Vodafone never accepts.
        2. Instead of several reminders they do not deactivate the service.  I was told to message - "CAN CT" to 144 to deactivate the service.  Each time I message this text, I get a reply - You are not active for this service. This means that the service is not activated for this account but when I call customer care, they tell me that it is very much active.
        Please help me so that I get out of this situation as it has given me & my mother a lot of trouble.

        Vodafone — Without consent activating value added service.

        Sir,
        With out my consent vodafone has activated DILSE SERVICE TO MY FONE No.[protected] and deducted Rs.30/- from a/c.Please do the needful action early.

        Without having subscribed to the caller tune service, it has been activated on my phone along with other value added services, that have been the cause of much frustration and irritation. I have tried to deactivate the caller tune service on my phone for the last 5 days, by calling and through sms, and have received messages from 144 saying "You are not active for this service".
        It is beyond rationality that I should be persistently charged Rs. 2 everyday for a service that Vodafone claims is not active on my number. I am extremely disappointed at the sheer red-tapeism and slow, dysfunctional working of the Vodafone system.
        Please help me remove this unwanted service from my number.

          i am able to send sms to others but i am unable to receive incomming messages in my nokia 6030.when i make a call or send sms small lock symbol with open position is displayed newely.even i use sim in another set i did not received any message.i am using vodafone.i dint received even a single message form the time of activation of sim.even i reported to the customer care td noy solved it.please tell me how to solve it?

          the use less service provider lot of issues in bills services and what not, , , , , even their toll nos are charged .. being a client of Vodaphone and that too with so many no. in corporate plan they always black mail and cheat you . every time new person will come and tell you story but cant do ###.
          SMS are not being received ...retail outlets refuse to give sims of out of state but keep on charging unlimited to an extent have to pay bill for 12 months even without receiving and doing a single call . now closed it after lot of hassle. Now no SMS or call going in one of other no. can somebody help.[protected]

            dear vodafone officer,

            Myself vodafone customer in INDIA with mobile no. [protected] since long. I am facing problem of automatic activation of online internet service in my phone without my request. For this each time I have to request customer care, I am always unneccesarily charged for these service, although without asking and without using these services. Pls cancel this online internet service from my phone forever which I have never used and pls refund all the charges to me. I hope Vodafone will listen to its customer and do the needful.

              From so many days I am trying to talk to the customer care.
              But I am unable to talk.. You are asking to select so many options and instead of connecting to Customer care executive you people are Give nonsense adds regarding DLF IPL matches...
              For one time its bearable.. But I tried so may times and you are giving the same advertisement.
              For this purpose u have started the customer care service...? I have some problem and I wanted to know about it. But you are not at all connecting my call to Customer care executive.
              This is what you call Customer care and you say loudly as "HAPPY TO HELP".
              I havent taken Vodafone connection to hang around you people all the time and keep aside my important works.Everytime I face these problems. If you cant provide service better dont give us the customer care numbers. Nobody cares about the grievances of the customers.
              I am totally fed up with u people.I want an explanation on this.
              hope u keeep up your Buzz word "HAPPY TO HELP".

              I have been facing utter harassment from your executives Pooja and Harjas. They have been calling me for past 3 days to threaten me for disconnecting my number if i fail to charge it with Rs 200. I have been teeling them ever since that my pre paid is a life time connection and my usage is Rs 1000 to Rs 1500 monthly. Then why do i need to charge it with Rs 200. I have been on hold for almost 45 mins for thrice when i tried to get in touch with pooja and Harjas. Both have been really inefficient and have harassed me. i request to look into this matter before i resort to consumer court for this disgusting treastment your staff gives to the client.( cell number [protected])

              Deducting charges for the services which we don't want

              I got a call from you people and i was told abot MCI services which i told that i don't want but still that service is activated and now u have cut 30 rs from my account even when i told u that i don't want this service then for whta you are deducting the charges.

              I have tried many times to connect to vodafone care to talk to your executive but everytime you people tell us about the services and offers and no call is attend by you.

              Vodafone — not attending my complaint

              Dear Sir,

              I am using vodafone postpaid corporate connection[protected]. I personally visited vodafone store and applied for limit extend from 1500 to 2500. Even after one month, they did nothing. Now my mobile has been stopped. They are not listening.

              One side they say that we will extend your limit after see your usage. Other side they stopped out going. How to do?????????

              Now I am complaining on 111 number. But they are not answering me. Today I have talked with Mr. Latif and then Mr. Shiv Devraj Suri. But they are not solving my problem.

              Vodafone — Customer care executives not attending calls

              Hi,

              I want to lodge a complaint against thee mobile service provider company called Vodafone. On 26the April 2012, between 10 to 10:30 AM, i was trying to connect Vodfone customer care executive. I made call 3 times, but no one has picked my call. I was waiting to get attended by theem for 5 mins during 1st call, 3 mins around in 2nd call and again 5 mins around 3rd call. After theat I got message from vodafone asking for feedback for thee resolution provided.
              First they haven't attended my complaint and sent me a message for feedback.

                Vodafone Postpaid — Not satisfied with Customer Service

                I had a vodafone postpaid number [protected]. I want to permanently deactivate this number . I submitted an application to my nearest vodafone store stationed at Sector-31, Faridabad, Haryana-121004 to deactivate this number however it has not been deactivated yet and the representative is very rude. I made a payment of Rs. 3230 and the representatives named Sahil and Ritu, they were not giving me any proof or payment slip that they had recieved payment from me and were very rude to me.They do not know how to assist a customer. Therefore, I would request you to look into the matter and take strivt avtion against the two vodafone representatives and help me out to permanently deactivate my postpaid number [protected] as soon as possible.

                Vodafone Post Paid — Rude Customer Service

                Hi

                I took a new Vodafone connection on the 21st of July 2009 and wanted the Voice mail service to be activated from day one. But as of today Nothing has happened and when I call the customer care I get rude answers like "Nothing can be done", When I asked for a floor manager the Agent (Moorthy of Alwarpet customer care) was so rude and denied me to put me on to his manager. He challenged me to go to anywhere and complain but was not ready to listen to me. This is the most irresponsible agent I have come across and it is disgusting on Vodafone to have such people as the customer facing person. Most of the agents are rude and i am not sure if they even have proper training on customer handling.

                The Vodafone "Ready to Help" is just on papers and nothing on action.

                Vodafone — Vodafone number not been deactivated from the system

                We had deactvated Vodafone number [protected] since last year but still we are getting calls from Vodafone that your account is active we have already paid 1500 even we havent used it once we dont have its sim card also . Even after assurance from vodafone that number has been deactivated we are still getting calls from them.

                  I was using ur three vodafone postpaid connections which are as follows- 1. [protected]

[protected] from past many years. i have recently got all my connections converted into prepaid with all dues clear and submitted my all 3 sims but from last three days i.e.17th april 2009 none of them is working presently.your employees in vodafone care committed that the sim will start working within (8 to 24)hrs but did not oblige to their statement due to which my business has suffered a lot.

                    I am Dr.Shakeel Ahmad Mir from Srinagar Kashmir.I applied for a Vodafone prepaid SIM on 04/04/09 at 10am at Jogi telecom, opposite main gate Govt Medical College Srinagar, through your agent Mr.Muneer(Mob.No.[protected]).I completed all the formalities.But till date the company has failed to verify my credentials and issue the SIM .I contacted the customer care many times but they failed to get my problem solved. Their customer care is totally useless.They just asked me to hold the call many a times for more than 15 minutes but were totally ignorant of the solution to my problem.Then I emailed jammu center and some Mr.Mudasir was kind enough to reply my email.He promised me to get my problem solved within a day or two.But one week has passed and nothing positive has happened.On 15/4/09 some one contacted me from Srinagar Center(Mob No [protected]) again promosing me SIM delivery within a day.Three days have passed but the SIM is still awaited.I faxed a complaint to Vodafone corporate office Lower Parel Mumbai on 18-04-09 but their response was also pathetic.
                    Now I am left with no option but to file a case against Vodafone Company in Srinagar Consumer court for the physical and mental agony caused to me by your careless, arrogant Kashmir staff.

                    As per your words, the Vodafone failed to Deliver your SIM in the given frame of time,
                    but you should take one think in consideration, on that subsequent era it was the launching segment of our company. i.e. Vodafone Essar, so there were some hurdles at that time to make the things possible in an effective and efficient manner, however we laid our all efforts to make the said possible by providing the
                    massive use of our services to the Subscribers.

                    As for as our Employee Mr. Mudasir is concerned, he was the only employee at that time, who was laid responsible for the Customer Queries which were
                    Flowing like flood, but by hook or by crook, he managed to dig up most of the things.


                    It is now being requested to be the subscriber of Vodafone by using our enormous services and we ensure to make the things more trustworthy

                      i also paid this bill amount please find the below bill details.

                      31/3/2009 - LCC[protected] Paid amount - 1000/-
                      31/3/2009 -Bill No- KR[protected] Bill amount - 450/-
                      Total paid amount is - 1450/-

                      I completely paid my all outstanding amount. But i am getting a phone call from your vadaphone agencies to my Land line number and they are behaving with very ugly words. The reason is i have a outstanding payment but i paid all my out standing amount.. Today my one of the gust take the phone and he hear the warning from your vada phone agencies it make me very shyness. If you are not taking any action against it i will put give the information to the media and i am going to take the legal action against your company, I know the way to the customer court. As a good cellular company this is your customer servicing method? Behave your customer like a guest. Dont spend more money for your advertisement first try to give a good service for your customers, Customer satisfaction can be good advertisement for you...

                      I need replay for this mail if i am not getting any replay i will take legal action against your company.

                        This is Mr. Dhanesh Chander Alag one of the client of Vodafone services cell no#[protected] since 5yrs, I want to disconnect this number becoz I have been charged extra Rs200 for itemised bill & secondly I was under the scheme of ISD @ the rate Rs1.99per min this service was been deactivated without my permission(I haven’t received any alert regarding the disconnection).I have been charged Rs-11, 00 extra due to disconnection of the ISD scheme. I have complained regarding this issue but no necessary steps have been taken in this matter, hence I have requested for disconnection of this no# due to such bad service given by Vodafone & now they are have sent me a court notice for paying this amount which I am not interested in paying. This is not the first time I have been charged extra, if you check the records for my bills every month some or the other charges are there which are not applicable & then they are been credit to the next months bill.

                        This is Sivakumar one of the Vodafone customer had been used a post paid connection(Mob:[protected]) for last one year.Due to some inconvenience, i had cancelled the connection on last 4th Nov 09.I had consulted with Customer care, vazhuthacaud branch, Trivandrum and they told that there was no further dues for me with Vodafone.Today i went to Vodafone for giving the request to reuse the same connection.At that time they told that they forget to update the bill clearence and due to that my bill will generated and so i need to make the payment.I had shown the proof of cancellation and then they told sorry to me and they told that this month bill will not be reach to you .But i cannot trust in this.They tried to cheat me.

                          Now prepaid also having the same offers, but on post paid we have to pay 300/- Rs. additional.

                          Previously my connection is Prepaid so I need convert it from post paid to Pre paid.

                          I don't want to go for new number I need this number with Pre paid.

                              This is Satish Kumar. V I bought Vodafone Connection just 2 days before.
                              My Vodafone number is [protected].
                              I have dialled 123 which was introduced by vodafone as an free service.
                              I have choose Caller Tunes in 123.
                              I was just listening the songs to select a particular caller tune.
                              Within 5 min the list got over and I got an message stating that your caller tune has been activated.
                              Whereas, I haven't selected any particular song from the list.
                              Few minutes later I received a confirmation message that my caller tune has been activated and they have set Gayatri Mantra as my caller tune.
                              Well during the process of selection the gayatri mantra song wasn't available all over in the list.
                              I called the customer care twice for the same.
                              The first executive said me one thing that it won't be possible.
                              Although I explained my problem in detail but he didn't got the problem.
                              I have noted the service request to confirm whether the issue been processed?
                              The service number is[protected].
                              Again I called the customer care to confirm that the issue been registered under the same service number mentioned above.
                              The second executive told me that we can not refund your money. For this you have to visit the gallery.
                              Whereas, I haven't requested to refund the money. I said only to provide me an option to select the other song which I needed. Instead of Gyatri Mantra as they have charged 15 Rs for the song and 30 Rs for the activation.
                              Even I have requested them that if they won't trust my words then dial 123 and check whether particular song is available in the list but they refused to do so.

                                i tried to top up my no through internet banking rupees of 30 two time.the vodafone site showed that my top up is successful and money was deducted from my bank account . but have not got the balance. but when i am contacting customer care they are not ready to take my complain as they are saying their system is showing nothing regarding top up at that day. i do have reference id which was given by the vodafone site..
                                so plz look into this matter ...

                                  i want to complaint regarding my mobile no. [protected].on 19 march my talk plan was changed.as on that date i asked the executive will my sms packs(national & local) will get deactivated and he said no.no intimation was given to me about the deactivation.2 days back (i.e 13/04/2009) i recieved a call that according to ur usage pls activate the sms pack.i got to know that time itself that promo packs were deactivated.since then i have been trying to speak to the customer care and no response they are treating me like a prepaid customer.i dont know what to do with this company.i even spoke with the team leader (he is suppossed to be a senior personnel acc. to executives) and no proper reply from their end. they even say sir we will resolve ur problem but u may have to pay the actual charges. that means if the sytem makes a mistake the consumer have to bear it.

                                    My wife has a post paid connection with Vodafone.I paid her bill for March;2009 Rs 540/- on 06.04.2009.
                                    Today my wife was advised by Customer care Officer ( CCO ) that the cheque has bounced so deposit the payment by cash.When she asked the reason of cheque returning.CCO replied, he has no information.pl check with your bankers. My wife called up the bank, they replied the cheques are returned at the centralised Clearing house and under all circumstances will be returned to the benificiary i.e.VODAFONE only.The CCO further advised that the cheque bounced in connection shall only be returned when the payment for the bill is paid.Which banking laws is the CCO talkingabout, It is beyond any body's imagination.Please look into the matter.

                                        My name is kamaldeep singh s/o Sh. Bishan singh. I have one prepaid cell number [protected] . Dated 29.03.2009 I request to Mr. Sanjeev of vodaphone on help line regarding new good plans of postpaid he suggest me RS.99 plan is very best for me in this plan 200 minutes are free in very friendly language at that moment I decided to convert my prepaid no in to post paid with Rs.99 monthly rent.

                                        Sanjeev suggest me to visit Vodaphone mini store m/s Navroz Telecom old Nawan shahar road Phillaur- 144410 (cell no [protected]) with one photograph, photocopy of prepaid sim card residence proof and Rs.250 as security (Refundable) . When I visit your mini store with all documents your representative explain other many plans he was not interested giving me this Rs.99 monthly rental plan when I ask him regarding benefits of Rs 99 he say I don’t know about this plan if you want to know more about this plan go to mohali office or call to mohali office. I speak to your representative that Mr.Sanjeev of Vodaphone tell me go to our mini store with all documents for further enquire and process then he say Mr. Sanjeev is not his boss he is independent boss. I request him give me invoice with written Rs.250 is security whish is refundable he refuse me after very long discussion he phone to mohali office then he written Rs 250 as security money in invoice. When I say to him why you are not cooperate on this issue he say this is not his sale this sale of vodaphone online mohali office sale in future you want any help or enquiry go to mohali office or ludhiana office.That day(30.03.2009) he provide me one sim card next day he take back that sim after two days he provide me other sim I don’t under stand why he doing this all.

                                        Conclusion is this that no sufficient cooperate providing from your phillur office.Now I suggest you some why not you giving full credit to local office for this type migrate connections from pre paid to post paid don’t pay full credit to online mohali office so in future no any customer fell this type problem.

                                        After one day I have received daily two to three calls for address verifications. Dated 04.04.2009 I have received one call from ludhiana office in morning 9.30am he saying we are coming to you for address verification within one hours but till 2.00 pm nobody coming to my residence next day was Sunday & my plan was going to relative with my family on 4.4.2009 afternoon but I postponed my this program due to your representative coming for address verification on same day. At 2.15pm I call to ludhiana office he saying person going to your home at 10.00 am he provide me cell no of Mr. sachin (cell no [protected]) & tell me contact him When I contact him on his cell no [protected] he say today in phillaur ludhiana highway Punjab police naka is available & he has no any driving license also no any papers (RC) of his motorcycle he will come only when Punjab police naka will off from phillaur highway after this I have call him five to six time also call to ludhiana office but same reply full day I get back .

                                        In the evening around 7.30 pm or 8.00 pm your representative coming to my residence with insurance agent Mr. Vikram sing (Relationship officer Kotak Direct 354, 3rd Floor Bhagwati Tower, Cheema Chock, Ludhiana 141003 cell no [protected] office no [protected]-50) after address verifications Mr Vikram sing offering me so many insurance policies I refuse him because I have all ready four policies with LIC INDIA. Please tell me is their tie-up between VODAPHONE & KOTAK DIRECT why you sending insurance agent to my home.I think I have refuge your insurance agent so you withdraw process of shifting or Migrating from pre paid to post paid.

                                        If this is possible convert my prepaid into post paid otherwise kindly refund my documents, snaps & security RS 250 through courier to my residence address giving below. I am working with Friends Auto Industries as HEAD QA since 12 years we have approximate 067 mobile connections in cooperate scheme of Spice/Idea till date we have no facing any harassments but with Vodaphone I am unhappy with your origination behavior.
