On 3rd Dec, 08 I was approached by 2 executives from Global Direct, Jayanagar, Bangalore offering a Vodafone Postpaid connection. The executives name was Bhanu Priya - Tel: [protected] and [protected]. The payment was made by cheque raised towards Global Direct for an amount of Rs. 399 of whicg Rs.99 was non refundable. The executive mentioned that after due verification the Sim would get activated by 8th Dec but it seems her words were of a trained cheat. I did get calls from a person named Stella mentioning that she was from the Verification dept. and the verification would be completed on 6th Dec and also gave me a list of tel numbers to choose from as my new cell number. However no one did come to my residential nor office address for the same. All relevant documents were submitted as proof of my place of address and identity.

Calls to the mobile pruved futile as the numbers were disconneted ones. the customer copy number given to me was GD.BT 2130 and the Cheque number raised was 569177 (HSBC Bank.MG Rd, Bangalore).
It seems a similar complaint was given months ago regarding such a company in this forum-140 days ago.
Please as a word of caution for anyone and everyone - Please be aware of this company as a fake.

Vodafone — Caller tune charge
They have started caller tunes on my mobile without my permission and have deducted the rent for the same. The reversal of the same is not done inspite of my several attempts. I want to bring to your notice that they have started this business to earn money and people like me is being harassed for the same.They have started on both of my mobile.
They have also charged me wrongly and when we had talk with their representative named Mr. Akhilesh Gupta, he verbally deducted some amount and suggested to submit the rest. Now I always get message as well as SMS to deposite the rest which has been agreend upon by their above said representative.
In this regards, I have written them a mail but they do not respond. Is there any way we can put them on track. Kindly help, otherwise I am forced to realize that there is no system working in our country for the people like me.
