I have been charged unnecessarily on my bills every month and every time I have to reach the customer care to get things corrected.

For one month, they correct things, they charge something else next month.
And, when I submitted a request to generate UPC, I receive a message stating some problem with the service provider. Once I received a call from the customer care department and I stated about being unable to generate UPC code.
The response was, we can't help because of lockdown. And, you will have to pay bill. We can work on your query after lockdown ends.

Like, why would I pay extra every month. And, God knows when this lockdown will end.

The current situation is, I am tired of reaching Vodafone through Twitter, Call, Mail, and every way possible but not receiving even a single response.
All I get is an acknowledgment mail and nothing thereafter.

      Vodafone india has been activating my services without me actually activating or opting for any services. This has happen twice in the last two weeks. These are the messages that i have got.

      Hello! Juiceup pack is now active on your number, as requested. This service is valid till[protected] and a 7 days rental of rs.35 has been deducted. Your current balance post service activation is rs.22.574. To deactivate sms stop to or call 155223 (Toll free).

        My vodafone number [protected] and [protected] is not displaying incoming caller id (Number) since many years. All the complaints made are on deaf ears to vodafone customer care. Kindly help

When ever i called them to send money in demo they said your demo is not attached with us it's attached with another person and he also said same i am faddup with this.             Hi vodafone,

            I am requesting you to please resolve my excess bill ([protected]) which i want to pay as per my normal monthly amount and i am fed up with your fake commitments done by your resolution team when i give a port request of my number..

            As i remember that wrong commitment was done by your team on 18th may 2020, they told me to stay with vodafone all excess charge will be waveoff this time. So please correct my bill as 249.00 per months as soon as possible as per agent commitment. I will able to ay the same.

            Please don't call me without listen a call recording. Its mental harassment case on you with compensation as you making a call me again and again without reading mail properly.

            If that is not available then why your agent advised me about it. I need call observation of this.

            First you need to play a call recording to me which i made on 18-may-2020. From last three days you are telling me that there was no call recording then from where you now find the call recording of that, let me listen a call recording may be you are telling a lie.

            Every time getting a different answer without listen a call recording.

            Now i have a confirmation mail also.

              Dear Sir,
              I have a complaint regarding my mobile no [protected].
              I have called so many times to your customer care but they are unable to resolve it at their end. I requested him to connect with some senior but they denied. Yesterday also sent complaint by email to vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafoneidea.com; but no resolution till now. My number out going facilities got barred.
              In this corona tuff time I am in trouble due no income at all and you have sent me a heavy bill, which I am unable to pay. (Hope you can understand my situation)
              My bill is very high from past 2 months, I am unable to pay it.
              So here I request you to kindly wave off all extra charges except my original bill amount of Rs.297 per month.
              Kindly resolve it ASAP so that my service get continue.
              otherwise i have to go to the Government public grievance cell.

                My vodafone number is [protected]. Today on 27th may 2020, at 5:27 pm, vas named funbox pack is activated on my number without my consent and amount of rs. 5 is deducted.
                I havent requested any such service. As per trai regulations, mobile service providers are not allowed to deduct balance for any service without taking customer's onsent.
                I want the deducted amount refunded in my balance immediately.

                      I am an user of vodafone since long and in 3 years then i converted my prepaid number to postpaid i have registered with vodafone mobile shield protection plan as being a vodafone red plan customer. Registration was done after fulfilling all the requirements of said mobile protection plan being provided by vodafone in partnership with new india assurance (As insuarance provider) and dss pro (Plan management on behalf of vodaone. On 14 may 2020 my mobile phone got damaged and screen broken (Still in working condition). Immedialtely i intimated the dss pro and folloed the steps advised by them and got claim intimation number. As per the list of documents provided by their customer care through email i have submitted all documents through mail on and i received a email that someone from their side will contact me in 24 to 48 hour its more then 10 days customer care helpline not responsing even they don't reply for email and vodafone says contact 3 party
                      Vodafone, dss pro and new indian assurance all three are cheating with users and acting irresponsible. No other channel of communication is available neither any escalation matrix is provided. Thats why i am here to raise a complaint for resolution of my issues. Best possible resolution is : claiim approval and reimbursement

                      This is the only msg which i got from them on 15 of may

                      Dear customer, your claim for complimentary mobile insurance via mobile shield with claim reference number [protected] has been registered. Our agent will contact you on [protected] within 48 hours, please keep your device invoice handy for further processing.

                        I am using Vodafone for last 15 years. I have been using pre paid services with indefinite calls and 100 SMS package. For last 3 weeks i am not able to send SMS message, but able to receive it. I checked the SMSC number it is correct in setting. My balance is --0.78 rupees!!!.
                        When i called customer care she says i have sent MMS. Why should i send MMS when i am using Whatsapp etc for sending messages.
                        Very poor service from Vodafone. These mobile mafia are making money out of their customers and provide very poor coverage, even within Chennai.
                        I am thinking of moving out of Vodafone.

                          Yesterday evening, I received a SMS stating that my plan has been changed to 399 INR one from 299 INR one. I was shocked as I haven't raised this request of changing my plan. I called up customer care multiple times but no one was there at customer support. I then dropped a mail to vodafone customer care for the same for which I have not got any reply till now.
                          I don't expect this kind of service from Vodafone.
                          Please help me changing my plan to older one.

                            Bad network connection. There is coverage problem in my area. Continuously two days I can't use my data balance. And there is no way to contact the customer care Services to solve the coverage problem.

                              This is [phone number], a vodafone user(post paid) for more than 4 years!
                              My vodafone plan has been changed without my confirmation! I received the text yesterday, and I have been trying to get to the customer support through calls ever since! But all my attempts have been futile so far. It is unfortunate and unexpected from an Organization like Vodafone!
                              Please note, I'd never requested for a plan change and there fore under no circumstances I will pay for the extra amount.
                              Please look into the matter and resolve it ASAP.

                              P. S. Find the screenshot in the attachment, it's been 11 minutes this time as well, and no answers!

                                I am using vodafone number [protected]. Charges of amazing of 1000 charged by u which was free in idea when i port my number. Without my knowledge charges put by your company. Went to store manager vikas in ohagwara he assured me 10 days back charges will be waived. He called on 23 re may that it is done but again today outgoing barred. He is not picking calls even. From last 15 days he is making fool of me and this was not expected from company like u.. Even wrote to your md sunil but no revert. This is service standard of your company. I am banker and known very well what is service. Changing my number to other number will post on all social media to do the same. Thanks for showing thos kind of service to all o[censored]s

                                  My vodafone mobile no. Is [protected] and my name is srinivas kamath

                                  I received an sms on 25th may 2020 at 14:22 saying "juiceup pack is now active on my number as requested."

                                  I have not activated this service and rs. 75 have been deducted from my balance regarding the same as a rental for 15 days.

                                  I immediately deactivated the service as per details provided by the message as to how to deactivate it and within next 15 mins the service got deactivated but the rs.75 charged have not been credited back.

                                  I am seeing similar complaints by other vodafone users in this forum and feel that vodafone should solve this technical glitch

                                  Or is it some way of charging their own customers illegaly during lockdown period all over india and no vodafone customer can go to any vodafone service store to solve this issue.

                                  Please provide me with a refund as i have already deactivated the service which was activated on my account without my consent.

                                  I have already contacted VIA "[protected]@vodafoneidea.com" and my service request number is "[protected]"

                                  Despite multiple requests via email the support has constantly rejected my request for refund.

                                  They have provided the argument that I had mistakenly added the pack via advertisement shown while browsing and I provided the argument for that as well that both the time the device in which the sim is inserted was idle and no activity or input was initiated from the device to activate this packs.

                                  I am seeing that this is a common issue being addresed by multiple vodafone customers in this consumercomplaints forum.

                                  I feel scammed by the Company

                                  I had recharged the sim with topup as a precaution in case of emergency requirement during covid lockdown and this is how the company is scamming us of our money.

                                  Please look into this and if possible try to provide a refund as this is not the way to maintain consumer relations with your loyal customers.

                                  and please try to contact me again, I will pick up the call this time.

                                    This isn't the first time vodafone has done this. They activate some games or some other vodafone services without asking my permission and adding to it, they deduct my balance. Everything happens without my consent.

                                    This time they have activated 'games portal' without my permission on my number and deducted more than 20 rupees of which i can't find any receipt of, even on their vodafone app. It's like vanished currency and there's no sms that says they have deducted my money. All i have is an sms that says 'thank you for activating games portal'. Thanks to me knowing their previous multiple times when they did the same stealing that i checked my balance this time, i would have never known they ripped me off more than 20 rupees without telling me so.

                                    When i do confront them in their stores (In the past few years) they either look busy and refund my money. I am satisfied and i walk away but refunding my money does show that they activated unneedful services on my phone without my consent. I do understand this has been a problem for a lot of people but vodafone takes this very lightly. Today i thought of calling their customer care but now they have started charging 50p per 3 minutes which looks less but we all know about the 'hold option' that will make them ask us to hold for as long as they want.

                                    Please help see that this doesn't happen to anyone and i get my deducted balance back. Keeping alive my hopes on you, thank you.

                                        Sir my mobile no is [protected]. I am vodafone customer. I bought a plan of 149. But company changed it to 299 itself. Company did not inform me about it. When i called company then one of company member told me that take the plan of 224. Then i agreed with him. But no plan was changed. Company also collected 50 ropees only becuse i paid bill later. Now want take an action against company. It is just making fool of the customer.
