Hi team,

I have received a bill amounting rs. 1548 for my vodafone number [protected] for the month of april 2020 of which i have been charged rs. 744 as value added service charges in detail calls - special numbers 86:10 minutes. Since then i have been asking customer care by calling and writing mails for details of the charges but they are not responding with details instead they keep sending the detail which already present in my bill.

Below are the response from customer care executives.

Go through the trailing mails. Is it the business ethics of the vodafone, want to earn money in the name of value added services.

Request to provide me complete details for usage charges of rs. 744
I have not used any value added service during bill period month but i see rs. 744 was charged under value added service (Vas) by mentioning calls - special numbers - 86:10 mins.
I want to know the special numbers which i made and charge details.in bill i don't see the complete details. Please provide me the same.
As for my knowledge i haven't used any value added service or not made any special number calls. So please provide the details for the same.

My query is i wanted to know the value added service which i subscribed and charges. As per my knowledge i did not subscribe any value added service.
Please let me know what kind of vas subscribed and i request dont just mention that charges applied based on my value added service. I understand charges are applied for value added services please be clear what services subscribed.
I have installed trai cms app and checked there is no vas has been subscribed last month.
In bill copy i can see charges under value added service with calls - special numbers 86:10 units and charges 744.
I have never expected this kind of response from vodafone stating "we have checked in our system record the charges applied based on your vas subscription"
Please be clear and what value added services i subscribed. As you suggested "in future to avoid the charges do not click any pop up while browsing/download" but here i am using basic nokia mobile phone where it doesn't have browsing capability.
I expect better response this time with complete details. If not i'll definitely take steps to move out of vodafone as i don't want to continue with hidden charges without noticing me.

I have not received any response for this mail since 3 days. I think they ignored my mail or don't have an answer for my query. Now i realised this was charged wrongly if not why they are not ready to provide me the details i am asking for.

No value added service was registered either nor any long calls ever initiated from this number. I initially under the suspicion that the call might have been wrongly initiated. But after couple of further investigation i realised this was fraud. Even if someone call, how come one can talk for one and half hour without interruption. Needless to say i am more than sure that no such call ever initiated. This is pathetic experience leave aside any other service gliche which is acceptable. I hope things get sorted for me to continue my service.

      Hello, im raji from kerala. I received a message from vodafone thanks for activating games portal. Now you can play unlimited games, click http://carbun8.in/mobgames/ and enjoy the service. I didn't click on any link and i got charged with 15rs. This is not the first time they have charged unfairly. Please take necessary action and refund my money.
      I have deactivated it but my money is still gone. I request to repay the money you took my fraud means.

      I hope necessary action will be taken soon.

          I have a mobile no 0-[protected]. I have paid thro my credit card rs 249 towards recharging the above on 11.4.2020. Yet, i get a message that i have a low balance of rs 2.68 and i have to recharge. Without realising, i have already recharged on 11.4.2020, i have again recharged my prpaisd account with another rs.95 on 21.04.2020 throe my credit card. Still, till date, the balance has been shown only as rs 2.68. All my attempts to get the latest balance were in vain as i am told that there is a coonection problem etc. Hope the above amounts are credited to my account and i do not face disconnection. Both the amounts have been debited to my credit card account.

              Near by area is not rural but without network is pathetic.

                    My name is bharath. My vodafone number is [protected] and for past one month i didnt pay my postpaid bill due to this corona lockdown. As i couldnt pay the bill before the due date. The network had suspended and my number doesnt exist and its my business phone number it will be big problem. So i wish to pay the balance amount and get my number. Please help me to get my number. I assure u that i wont delay further to pay the bill and that number is so important. Please assist me.                       I bought family plan. When i bought my primary number and one of my old number, i port this number from airtel to vodafone, i confess i did mistake because i never faced such issues in airtel since long i always put this number in family plan.

                      I confess that i got convinced from one of female executives in vodafone and now she is not responding and put me on block and did port even in very initial days my old number started working in december for a month it was closed and again since two months this number is closed i came to know just three to four days before that number got closed.. Which shows pathetic services from vodafone services. No one is responding in customer care, no response from that lady from whom i port the number and infact everyday i'm receiving emails on pending bills and i always had past records that i never keep my pending bill. If these people have changed my family plan into individual plan why would i pay such expenses which i haven't made and wrote emails also instead of my actual problem to be resolved they are responding my bill plan and pending details. Many times i wrote i want to speak to head, no response again.

                      Today in morning i received a random call back from one female without letting me know the process she said she will make me to talk with other department and disconnect the call without greetings and somewhere i find a fraudulent call.

                      I will not pay unless how dare you people to close my number without informing me and charging me high. I want a call back from manager asap on [protected]

                      I must say very bad services

                          Vodafone is cheating me since the last year by deducting money by activating unwanted packs without my knowledge. Whenever i call customer care, they say sorry and sometimes the money is refunded. But now it is becoming a headache to call them every othe day. I have 3 prepaid numbers and the issue is the same with all 3 numbers. Whom to contact to stop this daylight robbery.

                                  I have been sending email to Vodafone corporate care since March 28th. There has incorrect VAS charges for April month, VAS charges of Rs20. Also there was incorrect charges in the month of March for Rs46, which was later waived off, after I have raised complaint here in consumer court and email to corporate care. However this time continuously I'm receiving response from Vodafone corporate saying it's correct charges. I have been asking for details on Rs20 which they are unable to provide. Rather they are coming back with same repetitive answer that it is correct and they can't waive off.

                                  When I'm not using any VAS service on Vodafone, neither it is activated on my number, how they are keep on saying it is correct? And why they are charging again and again? Last month they have reversed, this month again they are charging. Like this Vodafone will keep on charging. This is really harassment and cheating customer.

                                  I request some action on Vodafone, as it is not acceptable that every month they keep charging such incorrect charges. I want Vodafone to do the correction at the earliest and make sure you are not charging VAS charges on my number anymore. I

                                  If it is correct they need to provide details on this Rs20 VAS CHARGES. I need proof on this. As I'm 100% sure it is incorrectly charged on my number. As I do not have any VAS services activated neither used any such service.

                                    Upc for mnp is not generating for [protected]

                                    Myself is in vodafone postpaid, kolkata circle. Due to some personal issues, and disgusting network, i would like to port out from vodafone service.

                                    Now i am looking for new operator with strong network for both voice and data.

                                    I am trying to generate upc from my number and unfortunately, upc is not generating. The reply getting is "upc cannot be generated as there are subsisting contractual obligations with your service provider. Please contact your service provider for further assistance".

                                    I don’t know what is the fact actually happens. I am enclosed the screenshot of the message and need a valid reply immediately.

                                      This was new connection, i have paid rs 399/- at the time of taken new connection at local vodafone agencies at waghodiya road baroad, after 1 month passes away, part mayment as per said vodafone said brantch rs 200/- afted before due date remaining payment of rs 425/- paid, total amount of bill of first month rs 625/- and deposit rs 399/- total amount rs 1024/- that i have been paid, when i have paid rs 399/- where it's gone, await for your prompt reply as early as possible otherwise i will be complain in consumer forum and local media
