Dear All,

Vodafone Mumbai is upto a NEW SCAM / Money Making racket.

My PREPAID SIM was SUDDENLY BLOCKED without any notice or warning.

Upon enquiry at Vodafone showroom, was asked to CONVERT PREPAID to POSTPAID.

WHAT is this NEW rubbish tactic and HOW MANY such customers been scammed? I have been a FAITHFUL VODAFONE CUSTOMER since 10 yrs PLUS!

So, from Rs.399 for 84 days, this CHOR Company is targeting innocent customers as MONEY MAKING racket/ gimmick.

Rs. 299 per MONTH RENTAL?? HOLY MOLY!

Vodafone Idea Cellular, if you DONT HAVE FUNDS, SHUT DOWN OPERATIONS and let other companies succeed.

After 10 yrs PLUS of being a FAITHFUL CUSTOMER, you are doing this HIGHWAY ROBBERY?

      I am currently in International roaming and I am not able to use my vodaffone number as vodafone has not giving me any solution.

      I had activated Vodafone IR pack 5999 in month of April. It has not auto renewed in month of may and vodafone had activated 145 IR pack by default.I was not notified of the expiry of 5999 Pack and neither about activation of 145 IR pack. Because of this my usage as claimed by Vodafone became INR 10949.7 between 12th May to 22nd May and since my credit limit was exceed vodafone deactivated my number.

      I had called Vodafone customer care on 22nd May, where I was informed to make online transfer for INR 10949.7 and then once the bill is issued it will get resolved as billing dispute.

      So I made the payment on 23rd May.

      So as of now Vodafone has slapped me with an additional Bill of INR 8997.25. This usage includes activation of 5999k which I had activated post deactivation of my pack in May but as My vodafone number was not working, I asked them to deactivate this Pack immediately . However, They still charged me 5999K pack along with 145 Rs another IR pack in this bill which I have not used at all.

      Considering my usage, the pack of INR 5999 should have been auto renewed. This will result in my total Bill of roughly INR 7396.24.

      Since I have already paid INR 10949.7, I expect Vodafone to credit back the differential amount

      Even if the pack of INR 5999 was not auto renewed, Vodafone has no right to activate IR pack of 145 without notifying.

      I would like to reiterate, I was not notified of either the deactivation of 5999 Pack or the activation of IR 145 pack

      I am really getting pissed up by vodafone. As I am still in international roaming, I have done vodafone payment as they are not ready to give me any solution and I can not go for port option till I come back to India .

      So vodafone has just done extortion with me and I am very much disappointed with vodafone now.

      Also I have already shared my alternate number via email, over customer care call with Vodafone so I am expecting a call on the same as I can not bear 70Rs /minute charge by vodafone by their call.

        Respected sir i have called many times to the customer care of vodafone about my serious network problem from last 1 month but they do nothing.Network problem is very serious that i cant able to send my watsapp message. I have recharged for three months of rs 399 and 1 month have gone but i have not get any benefit.sir i want my recharge refund.sir please do something as soon as possible.

          I am unable to get a porting number from them as they have some technical issue which they are not sorting. I can't make a payment of my bill either for they are showing no dues. But the company is sending bills and has now on the verge of deactivating my number. I have complained and have followed up but they have provided no solution and is only asking me to wait for over two weeks. They are not letting me port to Airtel either and not helping me.

              I am a Vodafone Prepaid customer. My SMS outgoing gets Barred from 2-3 months without any valid reason, though i have contacted the customer care about this issue couple of times but no action has been taken yet. Only solution provided by them is just change your message center number. Kindly help otherwise i will port my number.

                On 17th June 2019 I recharged my Vodafone account linked with phone number [protected] around 4.00 p.m with my SBI Debit Card on My Vodafone App. After I received a confirmation message from SBI for ₹408(₹458-₹50 by applying voucher) the app was processing the transaction and My Vodafone app restarted...My balance was deducted from
                SBI but the account wasn't recharged
                Please refund my money

                  This has reference to my bill fo the month of May 2019 & June 2019. I have a fixed rental plan of 499 per month and historically have been paying the same amount since ages. In both the months vodafone charged me extra amount of Rs 165 & Rs 120 resoectively saying I have made some video calls from my handset. I mentioned to them that my handset doesnot have any such feature and I use watsapp videocalling to make any videocalls. To this they reversed my charges in the first month but that again levied the same in June. I repeatedly kept on writing and speaking to them saying I have not used any such service which they refused to believe. I also challeged them to send their executive to use my handset and make a videocall beacuse i am confident my phone doesnt have any such feature. But they refuse to listen to any logic and are constantly harassing me. I have been with Vodafone for last 17 years and am shocked at the level of harassment they can cause. Please look into my case. It is not the amount of the money but the cause I am fighting for.

                    My Vodafone number is [protected]. I have been a user of Vodafone's services since 2012 after having ported my number from Reliance. Since I took this number for times of emergencies, I subscribed to a postpaid plan of Rs. 99, which after the addition of taxes, came up to Rs. 125.25 - which would always be paid before the due date.

                    On Saturday - 15 June, 2019 - I received a phone call from Vodafone and was told that I had an unpaid due of Rs. 632.67. On telling them that I pay my bills on time, the caller did not respond to my answer but rather continued to tell me that I had unpaid dues. This call came with no prior information that my package had been 'upgraded' from my initial package of Rs. 99 to Rs. 299 - which I only found out about today. This was only informed to me after I put in a request to deactivate this number. I then made a payment of Rs. 632. After putting in the deactivation request, their customer care told me that I had another amount of Rs. 288 due, which I again paid.

                    After finally putting in the request, I received a phone call today - 17 June, 2019. I was told by their representative that my package had been 'upgraded'. They made this change without my information nor my consent, but continued to bill me for it. Their notifications would also be only via text messages, and no breakup of my bill was ever sent to me.

                    Further, I again received a message today saying that I have the amount of Rs. 860 due, after having cleared all my debts - a confirmation of which I had already received on Saturday, after the initial phone call and deactivation request.

                    I would like to understand how Vodafone India can behave unethically when it comes to consumers using their services. Without informing consumers o[censored]pgrades done without informing them prior to changing their plans to an expense one. It's sad to see the company getting away with this. I hope my request for deactivation has actually been put through and that I am no longer harassed with a barrage of phone calls or text messages which have become quite redundant now.

                      I have recently converted from postpaid to prepaid. I am getting call duration and balance notification after every call / sms. Need to deactivate the same. I have called customer care but they are unable to deactivate the same. How can you offer some service without the wish of the customer. Is the number portability only option to this?

                        I am unable to use data at my home location since many times. Have already lodge a complaint in last month or some times ago and they just close the complaint without solving the issue even without confirming by me.

                        on 8th of June i have lodge an another complain 3-[protected] regarding the same and committed from Vodafone that the issue has been resolved by 12th of June. On 13th of June I am getting feedback call thrice from Vodafone and getting unprofessional conversation like "Sir, i am closing this call as we have given you maximum improvement", then i requested those staff that now I am in Office, please don't close the complaint on today as i have to check the same once i will be at home and please give a call to me on 14th of June for final feedback.

                        Now the issues are below:

                        1) No call received on 14th of June from Vodafone
                        2) Any time I called Vodafone Customer Care then have to wait 16 to 45 Mnts and above but during connecting the call to customer care team they are just miscommunicate us by saying that you have to wait 3 Mnts approx. my concern is waiting time should be matched or extend for 2 to 3 Mnts extra.
                        3) Main point is the improvement service i am getting from Vodafone is
                        seriously hilarious as before the complain i was getting 4G single tower but now 4G is fully invisible and 3G network also not working good.

                        Today i had a conversation with customer care team again and i have not getting a proper solution from them. This kind of service we can't expect from one of the so called leading brand and Super fast net service provider VODAFONE.

                          I recharged vodafone for Rs 499 using the official application, amount was deducted from my bank (transaction done via internet banking) but recharge was not done on the concerned phone or the notification SMS or email was also not sent. The transaction history in the official Vodafone app also does not show that transaction. The bank statement however shows the transaction to Vodafone. Please advice and resolve.

                            Vodafone has messaged me on April 29 2019 that my plan will be upgraded from 99 Rental to 249 Red plan which contains 10 GB of data usage as part of the plan from May 1st 2019.
                            I have started using data on May 2nd 2019 8:32 AM as per the message but they again message me on the same day at 5:26 PM that my plan will not be changed and it will remain to 99 RS per month without any data usage.
                            Now, the data I have used between that time, they Re charging me and even raising the customer care complaint they are not waiving of my charges i.e. around 600 RS ( including taxes). I am attaching the message screenshots which I got from Vodafone. Please do the needful and help me to get my money back.

                              I have been charged for calling to the number 517170 for 45 minutes 10 seconds on 21 May 2019 at 20:38:38. I have not made this call but I have been charged Rs. 630 for the same. On contacting Customer care they are saying there is no error in the bill.
                              When I asked to raise the complaint they are saying the bill is correct and complaint cannot be raised.
                              This is a big fraud

                              There has been a considerable decrease in the speed of Vodafone here in shivmandir, siliguri, west Bengal since 1 month. Please do fix this problem as soon as possible or else I'll happily switch my network provider. :-)
                              No action taken for wrong billing plan...even after complaining several times now...

                                  My number is ported from prepaid Airtel to Vodafone postpaid. My sim cannot do tele verification and has been reported suspended after 30 hours as I am still unable to get connectivity to mobile network. I can't manually connect to vodafone and I get "could not register to this network" error. Madurai Anna Nagar Vodafone store manager kicked me out saying not his job to verify my sim status. I need an explaination for this mess vodafone has created. It's my primary number and I have no usage to it for 2 days now!

                                  Converted postpaid to prepaid but sim not activated even after 5 days. Request was given on 4 June at sion vodafone gallery mumbai to abhishek who said that it'd be done on priority but not done till date i.e 10 June 2019
                                  I have connection of Vodafone, with zero rental plan but few months back they changed the plan to paid plan without any intimation or customer concern, now the Vodafone was shown my outstanding bill Rs.949 approx., also outgoing call stopped by the company.i have already 3-4 more connections kindly resolve, I never pay this amount.
                                  Vodafone has charged me extra data charges stating that i consumed 60GB of data in a month over my phone.
                                  Is this every practically possible.
                                  Where as my current months consumption is just 8 GB.

                                    I am a.long time customer of Vodafone since years.
                                    Last 2018 to now has been a nightmare.
                                    Despite many complaint about network..call drop...no network bar many times and worst 4G speed..there is no resolution.
                                    Recently they did few backend changes and it improves a little and again it's same after three days..
                                    Bad part is it not one location...from home ..office and shopping lanes ..equally pathetic connection.
                                    They should shut down if they don't know the technology

                                      I lost my phone on 6th June 2019 and block the sim on the same day by calling customer care . Then I visit Connaught place Vodafone store in New Delhi on 7th June 2019 for a new sim to my surprise they(Priya) informed me that the system does not show my document and it needs to be upload again. I informed them that I am using this number from approx last 14years but they again took my PAN copy and photo in mobile and uploaded and assure me to get activated .unfortunately it not get activated. On 7th June 2019 I went to Vodafone store South Ex New Delhi and explain the same, they (Sachin, Karan) took my document again and fill the form and paste the photo of mine with signature and assure me to get activated on the same day.

                                      But till now 11th June 2019 my phone is inactive and not get activated. Then I email to Vodafone customer care (vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafoneidea.com). on 12th June 2019 I got a call from an executive named Aman saying that they will look into the matter and try to get back to me within 48hrs. Today 48hrs completed and i contact customer care again they said the activation request against my number has not been made, so i have to visit vodafone store again.Now tell me what is my fault that I lost the phone or I am a customer of Vodafone so I am getting this type of treatment. Do the activation of the phone needed lots of time or effort or suggest me to port because you don't have any effect of losing the customer. AS this is my old sim and I do all my jobs with this particular number I am really getting affected and does not able to move from my place.

                                      several times I call customer care they instigate me to visit Vodafone store, once I got the sim why should I visit Vodafone store repeatedly in this digital age. I am total in isolate condition and have suffer monetary as well as beneficiary loss and still i have to wait. Do Vodafone compensate all my losses with there poor service provide

                                        But these services have been activated by some unwanted components installed by Vodafone to our mobile. When we call customer care they keep on saying you activated, but not.Also they have 24 hrs time limit seems to refund it.
                                        Even before 24 hrs I called, but they say like this amount can't refund as it is continued service. First of all their apps are triggering this service with user knowledge. How old person would know about it. Even sometimes I also got these kind of deduction without my knowledge these service got activated.
                                        Please ask Vodafone to stop this kind of looting from our country citizen.
                                        Also ask them to disable this kind of service enabler installation and enable only to the user who request.
                                        In my family alone, last month they looted around Rs.200 (from parents and grand parents).
                                        I am hoping on you for resolving this issue not only to me, but to all our Indian brothers and sister.
                                        Vodafone India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                        Any update from Vodafone customer support. They will just say as per their rules they deducted. It happened multiple time to me. Thinking to port the number.
                                        Call drops, unable to accept the calls, Change the SIM to another phone, Removed SIM, switched off and switch on more than 10 times, signal line 3-4 always, but spur in voice and reception,

                                        Everytime when trying to send a message getting Vodaphone error in 50 and not able to text inspite of the phone being recharge, and full balance is available...I'm not able to send SMS to anyone...tried switching of the phone and working again but still no Luck need help with that plz
