Vodafone issued a new number to someone else without my permission ... That number belongs to me... And I lost my gmail account which is attached to this number

      Vodafone India has been deducting money without my permission or authorisation from a quite a long time now. I get subscribed to games & what not followed by text message which says " Thank You for choosing to access Games World. You have been charged Rs 22. "

      I contacted Customer Service as well but I got a rude response & they disconnected as well after asking for more details about these deductions & asking for a Refund (More than Rs 500 would have been deducted till now) as after every recharge I get subscribed to something or the other without permission.

        I switched from prepaid to postpaid today and completed documentation and took new sim. Was told sim will be activated in half hour. Till not after 6 hours, sim is showing not registered. Cannot call 59059 for activation also. Got sms on alternate number that my sim is activated, still cannot call 59059

            I opted for a postpaid connection with Vodafone in September 2021. The mobile was offered as a scheme to me as the new number [protected] was just slightly different than my original number [protected].

            I bought it. The lady who sold it had mentioned that it will be changed to prepaid in a month.

            After a month, it was still showing as a postpaid number. I made a call to customer care and they asked me to visit a physical store for conversion.

            Due to my extremely busy schedule, I never got the time to visit the store. Hence I decided to convey to the customer care personal that I would want to close the number.

            They did not help me at all, even though the terms and conditions online clearly say that you can close the number via calling customer care. They repeatedly ask me to visit a physical store.

            After two months, I got time and finally visited a store at Kalkaji. And returned my SIM card and I was assured that my SIM would be closed.

            I came back home. Though my billing was never closed and I am repeatedly getting bills and harassing emails and calls from recovery agents. The billing for the month of April and May were generated illegally.

            I would like to send a notice to VI India, whereby they stop calling me and sending emails with immediate effect, not to disturb me with my busy schedule.

            The same has been conveyed numerous times over emails and phone calls, though the harassing emails and calls never stopped and company is not legally complying.

            Despite my emails to customer care on 28 May, they still sent more than 5 emails and made more than 6 phone calls. A clear violation of Harassment Act.

            I would also like to send this notice to VI India to close my connection to the number [protected], if still open. And would not be paying any further bills. This notice will serve as a legal obligation/notice.

            The company believes in looting people by opening connections and not letting them close it. Generating bills after bills and making easy illegal money.

            In my 5 months journey with VI, I could not find any way with which I can close the connection. They don't do it on phone, emails, visiting a physical store.

            So a legal notice is the only way left now. And this notice would serve the purpose.

              I complaint so many times with customer care but they didn't resolve my issue 2months are going on

                They are activating services which i never applied, i applied for 399 rs pack but they themselves activated 1100 pack, i told please charge 399 rs per month as per my subcribtion, they are giving me treat and asking forcefully to pay amount, they are continuesly calling by different mobile numbers.

                Please dont irritate me, otherwise i will post banner not to use vodafone

                    This is to inform you that I have been using Vodafone number +91- [protected] for several years.

                    Recently, I planned to shift to my new house in Siddharth Vihar, Ghaziabad, U.P. and due to poor network connectivity at my new house location; I decided to port my number and sent message on 1900 on[protected] for porting to another network. I had informed the same concern to your team while the connection was under porting process. The retention team of your company insisted me for not porting the number to another network with assurance that they will check why network issue is there at my new house location i.e. Siddharth Vihar, Ghaziabad, U.P. But, all in vein, and nothing was done to check the network issue and no support was extended to me.

                    So, finally I again decided to ported my said Vodafone number to Airtel and raised a message request on[protected]. I made payment of Rs. 588.82/- to Vodafone for my bill (Billing Cycle 11 Mar - 10 Apr 2022) through Paytm on[protected]. My Vodafone Plan Name was Entertainment Plus 499, and mostly every month i used to pay Rs. 588.82 as my usage was within the limits set under the plan.

                    At the time of porting, I was informed by Airtel Team to clear my dues with Vodafone which will include charges on pro-rata basis which will reflect in the bill generated starting from my billing cycle i.e. April 11, 2022 till my number gets ported to Airtel. My number was ported on[protected] to Airtel and I am willing to make payment of the pro-rata charges to Vodafone also.

                    In the month of May, 2022, I received a message on my mobile stating-
                    Hi! Your May'22 bill for Vi Postpaid no. 9868XXXX41 has been sent to your registered email ID - yashoda.[protected]@gmail.com. Please pay your due amount, Rs 1793.39 by the due date i.e. 26/05/2022, failing which the new payment due would be Rs 1893.39, including late payment charges. To view and pay your bill now, click https://bit.ly/ViViewnPayBill. You can also reach us on WhatsApp for billing, payment & more - click https://wa.me/message/2ONATA3W73EIP1 & say Hi!

                    In the month of May, 2022 itself, i started receiving several calls from your Customer Care Executives (CCEs) asking to pay Rs 1793.39/- as full and final settlement with Vodafone. During the calls, I enquired about break-up of the amount of Rs 1793.39/- and details of the pro-rata charges levied in my bill. I was informed by the CCE that Miscellaneous Charges of Rs. 1, 270.33 for Amazon Prime subscription has been levied. I asked her to reverse the charges as I am no longer using this and do not require the subscription. So, the CCE started misbehaving on call that I need to pay for it else Airtel will also stop my number and i won’t be able to use my number.

                    I need to bring to your notice that before enabling any value added service like any subscriptions of Amazon Prime/ Disney+ Hotstar Mobile, the same should be confirmed from customer before activating. TRAI also requires Mobile Network providers to bring transparency in offering/activating services and billing.

                    During the complete month of May, 2022, I had received several calls from Vodafone to clear my dues and i had requested to reverse the charges as earlier it was provided under my plan and since i am not continuing with Vodafone. I am ready to clear my pro-rata bill charges but the CCE girls misbehaved with me.

                    Also, I have not received any May 2022 bill on my email id with break-up of bills which has happened several times before as well. But i have been regular with my bill payments and before due dates.
                    It is a clear cut case of harassment, misbehaviour and undue charging from customers who are no longer associated with your company. I have also raised the concern to TRAI on the matter and will reach out to consumer forums, Social media too in case my concern is not resolved.

                    I again reiterate that i am willing to pay for the pro-rata charges from Apr 11, 2022 till Apr 27, 2022 i.e. date of porting to Airtel. But if i am not continuing with Vodafone and do not require Amazon Subscription, why should i pay for it as I dont require it and it was activated without my permission.

                    Looking for a quick resolution with a request for no misbehaving calls from your CCEs please.

                    Thanks in anticipation of an earliest resolution.

                      In Delhi there is no place where Vodafone network works.
                      Once in a day, it works for an hour and stop for the left time. In urgency, it do not works when it required.
                      I would suggest to the Telecom department that Vodafone must be banned in India

                        The moment I do any recharge on my number([protected]), there is always VAS activated without my consent. Tired of this balance deduction everytime I try to maintain normal balance on my number. I request for the refund of these deducted amounts.

                          I am using my Vodafone postpaid number [protected]. I visited Vi customer care at sanatorium, Chennai at 3rd june 2022 Miss Thulasi processed for new sim. Sim have not been activated yet. Again I visited 6th june at Vodafone care, they have not processed for document verification. But no use. Again i visited Vi care East tambaram, Mr. Suresh informed me, my document verification is pending still for second level verification. My visits are useless with Vi. Still now my Sim not been activated.

                          Advice my query and help to activate my sim card.

                            I have recharged 100 rs talktime on June 4th + 40 rs + 179 rs SMS balance. Despite all the 3, I am unable to send port SMS through my Vodafone idea SIM. Absolutely disgusting service. I mailed and called customer service, but they are providing useless replies. I urge that SMS services be reinstated and all my recharges be transferred to new sim. Vodafone services are extremely sub-standard

                              I've been charged Rs. 3 for playzone which I didn't even selected. This amount has been deducted from my balance which is wrong I did not clicked on anything, even at that time my phone was on charging.
                              I received the message today, here it is:

                              Hello!
                              Thank you for choosing to Playzone,
                              You have been charged Rs. 3
                              Your balance is Rs. 1.47.

                              Please do something about. This is pure cheating.

                                  I'm unable to send messages using my VI number. Error 29 is received. Prepaid number. The unlimited recharge is already made of INR 459 but no luck. There is more than INR 200 as talktime balance too .
                                  This is becoming a problem in order to send text messages .

                                  This is urgent. Please help.

                                      I was travelling to Indonesia Via Singapore for 10 days from India. So I had activated my international pack for 10 days that vodafone was offering at INR 3999/- In my layover at Singapore the sim worked for two hours, however on reaching Bali, it did not work at all. I was stuck in the airport for hours as my SIM was not working. Through the WiFi of the airport, I tried getting on chat with Vi Customer care in India. They tried troubleshooting with no success. I told them I had paid a high amount please refund it. They told me if you do not use the pack going forward, then I can come back and once the bill is generated they will refund the money for the days it did not work and will charge me for one day which is 599 INR. With no option left I had to buy a local sim and spend more money. Now Vodafone has generated a bill adding the 3999 amount. On complaining they are refusing to refund the money and saying as a good will they will waive of 500INR where as according to me they should charge for one day and refund the remaining as the service did not work for 9 days. One can clearly see there was no usage also, so its not fair also to charge for days Vodafone service did not work. My phone no is [protected]. My complain number is #[protected]. My complain number from my travel earlier were #[protected] and #[protected]. Please help me get my refund for INR 3999-599. I have spent a lot of my time and energy on this. Charging for 10 days and providing service for 1 day is not fair. Please help!

                                        Hello. Today I recharged my Vodafone number with 99 Rs Pack and almost the entire amount was deducted for some kind VAS services that I have not subscribed. I received a SMS from no 54300 saying welcome to Players Club Pack.

                                        This has been going on for a year now. I keep getting VZ-ViCMS SMSes with deductions without even subscribing to them. Even after trying to disable them by using the number provided. The amount deducted prior to this was Rs 5 or sometimes more. But today they immediately deducted the complete amount.

                                        I have been ignoring this but today I decided post a complaint here.
